Caitlin: Chapter 5

Slavelin lay on a soft bed. Her bare buttocks were quite reddened, much like the real Caitlin’s currently were. Her eyes were closed and she was smiling. She had gone to sleep like that.

Several other versions of Caitlin stood over her, one dressed as a doctor, complete with lab coat and stethoscope, and another was General Caitlin, the one who commanded them all.

“So Doclin, how is she?”

“She’ll be fine in a day or two. Our Master this time around is holding back.”

“Can’t blame him I guess. He’s new to this and rather timid. It’s kinda cute actually.” Ms. Ackland said.

“Mmmm spank me harder Master...” Slavelin mumbled in her sleep.

“Yep. She’s gonna be just fine.” Doclin said.

Caitlin woke up at 7 AM, almost to the minute. Being a hypnotized sex slave, she was conditioned to be up early. Normally she’d do things like dust and vacuum, as well as clean any dishes and make breakfast. However the apartment was clean, Larry drank energy shakes for breakfast, and he wouldn’t be up for another 3 hours.

She thought about using her tablet to contact her handler and have a video chat with him. It had been a week since they had last seen each other and she was starting to miss him. Unfortunately due to the time zone difference he wouldn’t be up for a couple hours.

She smiled as an idea came to her. She’d go to that shopping center and buy the ingredients she’d need to make a hotsauce omelet.

Dressed in jeans and a t shirt, she headed outside only to discover that it had turned cold overnight. After returning to the apartment to fetch her jacket, she went to the shopping center. It had a grocery store which was open and had all the ingredients that she needed. She headed back with eggs, cheese, a can of green olives, a package of ham, and a bottle of fire sauce.

Smiling and humming part of a song to herself, she headed back and started cooking. Cheflin popped into her mind, guiding her and keeping her focused. The scent of delicious food cooking soon filled the apartment. A half awake Larry soon appeared in the kitchen.

“Mmmm, Caitlin? Are you sleepwalking again? What smells so good?”

“Good morning Master! I didn’t think you’d be up this early so I made myself some breakfast.”

“Can I try some? It smells really good. What’s in it?”

“Ham, eggs, little bit of butter, sharp cheddar cheese, and Fire brand inferno sauce!”

“Okay.”

Caitlin was nervous about letting him eat some of her omelet. Hot sauce didn’t bother her like it bothered other people. She had put a good two tablespoons worth in the omelet mixture to get that nice tang that it provided. It was one of her favorite breakfast meals. However the fire sauce had a delayed kick. Previous Masters who had tried her omelet started off enjoying it, until the sauce kicked in. One such Master was reduced to tears and inhaling water from the kitchen sink. That evening she heard him screaming from the bathroom that he was “shitting lava”.

Still, he did ask to try it and she couldn’t say no. She put the omelet on a plate and cut off a small piece for him to try. She hid her nervousness and prepared herself for the inevitable screaming.

Larry stabbed the piece of omelet with his fork and popped it into his mouth. He chewed, then swallowed.

“Wow! That’s got some zip to it! Give me some more.”

“Okay Master...”

She cut off another piece, which he gobbled down. She could see his face starting to redden.

“Hoo. Hoo!”

He snorted.

“Hoo that opens up the sinuses!”

He ended up eating most of her omelet and handling the fire sauce pretty well. She was glad that he liked it, but she had made that for herself. She’d have to cook another one. Cheflin wasn’t too pleased, but Slavelin was happy as could be.

After Larry headed off to work, Ms Ackland reminded her that she wanted to contact her handler. She grabbed her tablet and opened her VIM program. He was online. She started a video chat with him.

“Hi Bryan! How’s Africa?”

“Hey Caitlin. We’re not actually in Africa. There’s a big wildfire really close to the lodge we planned to stay at, so we took a detour to Germany.”

“Aww, sorry to hear that. Well, I’m getting settled in here. Larry’s a decent guy, though I don’t think he fully knows what to do with me yet.”

“Nobody who meets you for the first time fully knows what to do with you.”

“Hee hee hee! Uh, no I mean he goes to work and doesn’t give me orders for the day. He also sleeps in late so I’m left with a lot of downtime. I also forgot to bring my phone, and...”

“And even though you know I don’t like you wandering around unfamiliar places, you’re going to do it anyway, because that’s what you do when you’re bored. And you need your phone’s GPS so you can find your way back, and you can’t use the GPS in your tablet because it broke and you won’t get it replaced because it would no longer be your tablet even if you got an identical model. That about sum it up?”

Caitlin closed her eyes and smiled.

“Yeah...”

“Okay, I’ll contact the facility and have them send you your phone ASAP. Please don’t go anywhere until you have it.”

“Okay Bryan.”

She sat down on her bed and looked at the tablet, still smiling.

“I’m a muffin.”

Bryan smiled and replied “I’m a bagel.”

Caitlin hugged her tablet, pressing it against her chest. Her eyes closed and she sighed contentedly.

“Caitlin, you do know I’m not actually there with you, right?”

“Yeah, I know...”

With several hours to go until Larry returned, Caitlin decided to play some games on her tablet. Gamer Caitlin popped into her thoughts.

“Load up the Pinball game! I want another crack at The Addams Family pinball table!”

“But you suck at Pinball, your reflexes are too slow.” Ms. Ackland replied.

Gamer Caitlin lowered her head and sighed. “I know...”

With Ms. Ackland’s help, Caitlin decided to play one of those defend the castle games. Unlike pinball, she was actually really good at this kind of game. She just needed to get into the right mood for it.

She pulled up the couch cushions and arranged them into a crude fort. The small aquarium that held Sally, the spider she had found a few days ago, sat next to her. She was going to be her strategy partner. How this actually worked was that inside her head, Gamer Caitlin, looking none too pleased, put a crude sock puppet that had a spider drawn on it over her hand, and started advising the real Caitlin in a falsetto voice. She sat there in her “fort” and played until the low battery message popped up on her tablet.

“Ohh, now what do I do?”

Artist Caitlin popped into her thoughts.

“You know, while it’s charging you could make a drawing.”

She smiled, got up, and put the couch cushions back. She put Sally’s aquarium back in her room and opened up her suitcase to get a pencil and some paper.

Out of all of her personality facets, Artist Caitlin probably looked the weirdest. She wore a light blue collared shirt, held a big palette board in one hand, and a paintbrush in the other. What made her so weird looking was that her hair was styled in a big Afro.

The reason she looked this way was because she was modeled after the person who had inspired her to start drawing. When she was a little girl, she used to browse YouTube a lot. One day she found a public access TV show that just featured one guy who would stand there and make a painting. It would start off as crude shapes and brush splotches, but as it went on it gradually became a real painting.

At some point she worked up the courage to try and copy what he was doing, except all she had at the time was a pencil from school, and some printer paper. As time went on she hunted down more episodes of that show. Gradually her goal changed from attempting to copy what he was doing, to making new things. He almost always painted outdoor scenery, she began drawing animals.

Eventually she ran out of episodes to watch and wondered what ever happened to him. A bit of googling and she realized that he had died a few years before she had been born. So as her own way of paying tribute, she created Artist Caitlin, one of her first conscious personality facets, and gave her the same clothing and hairstyle that he had.

She started with some happy little feathers. She drew the outlines first, then filled in the details. She didn’t quite know what she was going for at first. Once she had some feathers, she’d worry about what to add next. Feathers implied a bird. Artist Caitlin decided that it would be an owl, perched on a branch, with a full moon in the background.

She drew enough of the branch for the owl’s feet to grip onto, then drew the feet, erasing a line here, drawing a new line there, shading here, erasing there to get a lighter shade. The beak came next, as that would serve to frame the rest of the face. She paused, trying to remember exactly what an owl’s beak looked like. Artist Caitlin quickly drew up a sketch and displayed it in her mind’s eye.

Smiling and humming to herself, she continued to work on the drawing.
