In an open square, a red haired angel inspects the carvings on a wall. "I wonder what race made this city....Human? But this doesn't seem like any human writing..." Her grass green eyes study the wall intently, alight with curiosity. A smooth voice behind her says, "It is a city made by a race of half-demons a long time ago, pretty little angel." She jumps and turns to face the direction the voice came from. She extends her hands out in front of her, ready to cast the spell at the demon in front of her. His waist length hair glints silver in the sunlight, a stark contrast to the angel's red hair. His bright green eyes narrow slightly as he sees her defensive posture. "What's the matter? Don't like demons?" His pale pink lips curve in a slightly cruel smile as he watches her uncertainty. "We were always taught to be cautious of demons and their ilk. They always want something from angels, because we have everything they want." His smile disappears, replaced by an angry frown. His bright green eyes flash with anger as he glares at her, narrowing them. "That's what they teach you angels nowadays huh? You angels and your overbearing egos, making us into scapegoats as far as our memories go back. WE'RE the ones who are the evil ones huh? We didn't march into your land and slayed thousands of your race, now did we? Slayed men, women, and children being uncaring as to who they are....yes, we are the evil ones indeed." The angel's hands are still kept up in a defensive position but her face shows her confusion. "We were always taught we did that because your race was making plans to storm us and..." "All excuses so your kind could trim down our numbers considerably. The LIES you are all taught is saddening...and angering!" He takes a few steps forward towards her, looking menacing. Her grass green eyes widen but she holds her ground, still looking confused. He opens his mouth to continue ranting when a foul smell suddenly gets breathed in his nostrils. He looks around, looking for what is causing the terrible smell. "Oh my God, it...it can't be!" The demon snaps his head to look at her to see fear on her face. "What? What is it? Do you know this smell?" "It is one of the worst beings that exist...they eat anything and everything they set their sight upon and the worst thing is you can't see them." "Hold on a minute...this thing is invisible...but exudes this noxious order? I've never heard of this thing before...you must be making it up to scare me." "I'm not! The only way to beat this thing is to flood the area with angel and demon magic so we need to..." "Hah, now I definietly don't believe this. I bet you just made the smell somehow and now you're coming up with some story so I can be lulled into a false sense of security and you can attack me. Take me back home, will you? I don' THINK so." He flaps his wings a couple of times, hovering in mid air. He smiles cockily, his silver hair streaming around him as the angel looks at him like he is an idiot. She looks at her hands and sighs, starting to gesture and speaking words to conjure an area spell of angelic magic. The demon starts to laugh, thinking the angel is still trying to convince him this thing does really exist. The angel extends her arms out, finishing the spell and bright light flashes around the area. A small noise is heard twenty yards away and she looks up at the demon. "Still won't assist me, will you?" The demon laughs even harder at this and she sighs heavily. "I guess not...I hope this works because I haven't attempted this before." She takes a deep breath and starts gesturing again, but speaking in a different language, one from the demon world. The demon stops laughing as soon as he recognizes what she's saying and looks at her, taken aback. The volume of the angel's voice increases in intensity as she finishes off the spell, letting out a huge ripple of demonic energy. A loud screech is heard and a flash of something is seen for a moment. The smell disappears and the angel collapses to the ground in a heap. The demon keeps looking at her, stunned this angel knew this spell and could cast it! He swoops down to her turns her over onto her back. "How did you do that? Who are you?" The angel opens her eyes a little to look at him, her long red hair a mess below her. "I'm Liriel." She closes her eyes as she falls unconscious from the different magics she produced at close intervals. The demon looks at her in amazement, looks away and then looks back to her. He picks her up, looking rather confused still as to why she knew any demonic magic at all. Wings of Fate Ch. 02 Liriel wakes up feeling like she was hit by a crowd of her kind in a rush and she sits up. She opens her eyes and finds herself in a unfamiliar room. The room's walls and high ceiling are a deep garnet red accented here and there by silver lamps. She rubs her bare arms, looking around at the fairly sparsely decorated room. She looks down at herself suddenly and exclaims at the sight of a new outfit. "He better not have changed my clothes!" She draws her arms over herself, trying to cover her now partially bared and full breasts. "He did not change you, I did!" Liriel looks up and sees a green haired, green eyed pixie like creature flutters in front of her. "You did? What are you? You look almost like a..." "Don't say it! I'm not a pixie! Everyone always thinks I am but I'm not! Master Zephyr conjured me in a ritual. I am a wind spirit!" "I didn't know demons could conjure elemental spirits..." "Master Zephyr can conjure wind spirits...but he doesn't use his demonic powers. He has his secrets...as I've come to understand you do." Liriel hugs herself tighter and looks taken aback. "Did you tell him about the mark on my breast?" "Don't be silly! It's just a tattoo right?" Liriel looks away from the wind spirit, a black spire just visible above her arms. "Y..Yeah, just a tattoo. Listen...um..." "Pazuzu! Or just Pazu for short!" "Pazu...can you please find me a different outfit? One with a higher neckline, please." Pazuzu whirls away and comes back with a dress of a similar style to the one Liriel is wearing but with a higher neckline. Liriel takes it with a thank you and turns to take off the one she has on. She puts on the new one, a hand over the mark on her breast. "Miss Liriel, is that mark just a tattoo? You seem awfully funny about it." "Please Pazu, don't pry. It is something you do not need to know and it is something...Zephyr doesn't need to know." Pazuzu frowns a little and sighs. "If you say so...Now, Master Zephyr told me now that you're up, he wants you to come see him so he can ask you some things." Liriel fingers the edge of the neckline, looking concerned and slightly guarded. Pazuzu gestures to her to follow and Liriel walks after Pazuzu still looking worried. Pazuzu leads Liriel through the corridors to a large room with a long table. At the end closest the door sits Zephyr, feasting on a plate of what looks like meat. He heard them enter and looks over his shoulder. He immediately stands up, his large demon wings folded behind him. He looks over Liriel in her dress, straps taking the place of sleeves. He raises an eyebrow at the fairly high neckline, not understanding why she choose such a thing. "Nice dress." He keeps eyeing the high neckline and Liriel crosses her arms in front of her breasts, looking guarded. "You wanted to ask me something, huh?" Zephyr nods, eyeing her curvaceous figure. Liriel looks away, uncomfortable with his obvious appreciation. She takes a seat at the table, Zephyr sitting back down on his seat. He eyes her closely, seriously this time. Liriel avoids his gaze carefully, picking a unfamiliar fruit like food and staring at it. "So, how exactly did you learn demon magic? You supposedly don't like us but here you are with our magic. How and why? Explain this to me right now." Liriel grips the fruit tightly, her nails puncturing the tender flesh. Zephyr raises his eyebrows a bit, waiting for her response. "Drop this. I do not wish to talk of it." Zephyr sneers slightly, leaning forward as she keeps avoiding his face. She slides her nails out of the fruit, using her mouth to suck out some of the juice inside. Zephyr continues to sneer, his eyes narrowing. "You did it right in front of me so I feel like you are obliged to tell me. How does an angel come across such magic and why would she care, hm?" Liriel slams the fruit down, squashing it against the table. "I told you to drop it! This is none of your business! Besides, you were the one who wouldn't believe me and made me expend so much energy to protect us both! Is that all of your questions because I do not wish to continue this interrogation." She stands up and goes to walk away from the table. Zephyr leaps up and pulls her back around, her feathered wings flashing behind her. She pulls back from him, looking at him angry and hurt. She stalks off, Pazuzu in her wake. Zephyr continues standing there, hand extended outwards. Looking unsure and confused, he draws his hand back and looks at it. "She's right. Even though I was yelling at her and being belligerent, she still helped me. I shouldn't pry so hard when she could have just left me there, alone..." He lifts his head and stares at the door Liriel left through. Pazuzu flutters after the storming Liriel, trying to keep up with her quick pace. "Why can't he be more concerned about what happened after that? He just has to pry, has to figure out why I can do this. Maybe my teachers were right, that demons just want something from us. Never trust a demon..." Pazuzu frowns and catches up to her and tugs on the angel's strap. Liriel startles a little bit, facing Pazuzu's concerned green eyes. "Miss Liriel, I'm sorry for Master's behavior. He was merely curious..." "I don't want to hear it. He only took me back here so he could study me and try to get what I can do. Here I thought that maybe angels had wronged their kind but no they really are horrible beings." Pazuzu frets over what to do, looking around for anything to distract and calm the angry angel. "Miss Liriel, is there anything that I can do for you? I'm not sure how to get you out of here as I do not know the way out and the only one who knows is Master Zephyr. Could I...maybe interest you in a hot soak in the bath?" Liriel looks at Pazuzu and then at herself, seeing how dirty she is. She slows her steps and looks back at Pazuzu. "I...guess I could go for one. Just show me where it is..." Pazuzu gestures at a door and they go inside to see a luxurious natural looking hot spring. Liriel's eyes open wide as she looks at it in amazement. "I've never been to one of these before, Pazu! It's so...pretty." Pazuzu backs towards the door as Liriel starts getting undressed. "I'm going to find something for you to dry off with when you get out and I will also find Master Zephyr to tell him not to come in." Liriel looks over her shoulder and nods. Pazuzu goes out the door and closes it. Liriel steps into the hot water and lets out a little yelp. She stands in the hot water, the water coming up to her smooth and round ass. The water shimmers off her creamy white skin in wavy patterns, a soft contrast to the stark yet elegant black lines on her left breast. Liriel frowns at it, tracing the lines quietly. "I guess that's what I pay for being curious, huh?" The black lines end before her soft shell pink nipple, not marring its tender surface. Despite the heat, she shudders and her nipples harden. She winces and hears the door behind her open. It startles her and she turns around. Standing in the open door is completely naked Zephyr. He looks at her, just as startled to see her as she is he. He takes in her full white breasts but notices the black mark on her left breast. He looks even more startled and opens his mouth to speak. Liriel ducks into the water, keeping her wings above water. "Get out!" Zephyr backs towards the door a couple of steps and runs out the door, slamming it behind him. Liriel holds a hand to her heart, it beating fast from the shock. The image of his slim but toned body fills her head. His finely muscled chest slimming into a small waist and flaring out into slightly generous hips. Then of course there was.... "No! This isn't right! Besides, he saw my mark! He knows! Oh God, he knows..." She places her face in her hands, sobbing quietly. But no matter how much sobbing she did, his naked body was burned into her mind's eye. She could see his slim body in her mind with his long and thick erection, belying what he felt when he saw her naked in his bath. Wings of Fate Ch. 03 Pazuzu flutters along, humming to herself. In her arms she carries a dress, meant for Liriel to wear. Smiling as she flutters along, Pazuzu sees Zephyr rushing in her direction. "Oh, Master Zephyr! I need to tell you that..." Zephyr zooms right past her, making her twirl in the air a multiple times. Dizzily, she looks after her master. "M...Master? Oh well..." Pazuzu continues on her way, gathering the dress back together. She finally gets to the hot spring and flutters inside to see Liriel perched on a rock, her arms wrapped around her tightly. Water slides slowly off her skin, cascading down the rock. Liriel looks up to see Pazuzu hovering by her and her face changes from scared to angry. "I thought you were supposed to tell Zephyr that I was in here! But no, you went on your merry way and decided that dress was more important, right?!" Pazuzu flinches back from Liriel, looking confused. "I couldn't find him so I rushed off to get the dress, thinking he had left somewhere..." Liriel makes and angry sound, stalking over to grab the dress from Pazuzu. "He came here and saw me completely naked. He saw all of me...do you know how embarrassing that is??" Pazuzu looks down at the ground, clearly upset. "Miss Liriel I'm so..." "Just go." Pazuzu flutters out the door, leaving Liriel behind. Liriel sighs and places the dress down on a dry spot while she dries off. She looks down on the black mark on her breast and closes her eyes. "I need to get out of here...now. Now that he's seen this..." She hurriedly puts the dress on, hurrying out the door and down the hall to the room she woke up in. She gathers up the few things she had and Liriel starts running out the door when she smacks into Zephyr. Her eyes widen and she steps back from him, turning bright red. She looks away from him and tries to brush past him but Zephyr holds her back. "Liriel, look...I'm sorry for walking in on you like that. I didn't mean to and if I had known you were in there..." He rubs a hand through his long, silver hair, looking somewhat embarrassed. Liriel continues looking away from him, her face red. "It was an accident, just forget about it. Anyway, I should leave and..." Zephyr starts and shakes his head. "No! Don't leave, please. You just can't leave, Liriel. I apologize for the stupid things I've done since I've met you but please don't leave! I can't explain it but ever since you destroyed that...creature, I just can't help but want to know about you! I have never felt like this before, Liriel. Please stay..." Liriel looks at him, seeing his pleading lime green eyes looking back at her. "But...you saw what I am. Why would you want someone like me here? I'm a waste of time and..." Zephyr turns around suddenly, his eyes suddenly stormy. He turns back to Liriel, and his grip on her tightens slightly. "We have a problem and that problem is closing in. Please, you need to stay with me. I don't want to lose this feeling but you need to trust me Liriel. I need to hide you fast and I have one way of doing so without you being found." He raises a hand to his right ear and touches a dangling green gem. Her eyes widen as she looks at it, moving in closer to examine it. "Wow, it's pretty and I can tell it's powerful but what does it do?" "This earring has a separate dimension hidden inside it. It won't hurt you, I promise." Liriel looks away from him, warring with her emotions and after a few moments looks back at him. "Ok, I'll stay." Zephyr nods, looking grim and he touches the gem again, closing his eyes. He whispers a few words and a green glow extends over to Liriel, enveloping her. She suddenly disappears along with the green glow and Zephyr turns on his heel. He rushes as fast as he can towards the entrance to his residence and sees someone walking inside. "Why hello brother, nice to see you again." Zephyr's brother Nyte smiles at Zephyr with an evilness to it. "Hello Nyte. What could you possibly want?" Nyte laughs and shakes his head. "You're never happy to see me, dear brother. Am I really that bad?" He laughs again, eyeing Zephyr up and down. Still grinning evilly, his eyes settle upon the glittering gem dangling from Zephyr's ear. He reaches over to touch it but Zephyr draws back, glaring at him. Nyte laughs but stops as he smells the air around his brother. He narrows his red eyes, his grin being replace by a frown. "What is this smell you have around you? Such a sickly sweet smell. I don't know anything allied with us that has a smell like that. Zephyr...what have you been doing? Traitor." Nyte casts a quick spell and throws it at Zephyr, making him dodge. Zephyr grits his teeth and starts to cast but Nyte zooms over and knocks him to the ground. Nyte press Zephyr into the ground, glaring at him. "Where is it? Tell me where this pathetic thing is, tell me right now!" Zephyr tries to buck Nyte off so Nyte whacks him hard in the head. Temporarily stunned, Zephyr lies there on the ground. Nyte eyes the gem and grins widely as he senses the power radiating from it. He grabs it and flies away into the air, willing himself into it. Inside the earring dimension, Liriel sits around on the glowing green ground and wonders what happened. She hears a pop and looks up, seeing Nyte appear. Not realizing it isn't Zephyr, she jumps up. "what took you so long? I was wondering what was going on and..." She stops, noticing the leering red eyes. Her eyes widen and she takes a step back. "What are you doing with my brother, you little tramp. You took his mind over, didn't you! You deserve to be hurt, you fucking angel!" He throws out a ball of energy at her and she flies into the air, coming up behind him to blast him but he turns around. He smacks her to the side, watching her tumble to the ground. He grins and quickly casts a spell, pinning her to the ground. "What did you do to Zephyr?" Liriel struggles with the spell holding her down and keeping her hands shut tight. Nyte keeps grinning as he walks over to her and waves his hand in a dismissive way. "It is none of your concern, you pathetic angel." He kneels down and rips her dress apart, peering at her prone body. He grins even wider as his eyes set upon the black mark upon her breast. "Well, well, well. You are even more pathetic than I thought! Not just a ordinary angel, are you? What did you do, dear angel, to recieve the mark of the fallen angel?" Liriel winces as Nyte traces the mark, struggling harder to get away. Nyte laughs and smacks her across the face, enjoying it. He removes his clothing with a wave of his hand, laughing quietly. Nyte forces her legs apart, getting ready to rape her as a symbol of the evil of the angels. Liriel closes her eyes tightly, tears falling down her face as his erection probes her netherlips, having given up on fighting. Wings of Fate Ch. 04 Liriel weeps quietly, stuck to the glowing ground beneath her. The cruelly smiling Nyte hovers over her, demonic insanity gleaming in his blood-red eyes. "Ah, yes...weep! Weep for your supposed innocence! Weep for your friends will not help you!" Nyte laughs, making Liriel flinch. Turned away from him, she does not see a ball of energy smack into Nyte. She feels, however, Nyte being knocked off of her and snaps her head back to see Zephyr standing by her, looking utterly furious. He quickly undoes the spell on her and she gets up shakily to see Nyte getting up at the same time, his lips drawn back in a snarl. Nyte rushes at them, his hands glowing with a furious scarlet energy. Zephyr and Liriel at the same time let out whips of energy, slamming Nyte a good distance away. Zephyr turns to Liriel and grabs her hands, uttering quiet words to himself. All of the sudden, Liriel feels like she is being sucked out of a hole and lands on the stone floor of Zephyr's house with a roll. She jumps up quickly to her feet, preparing for Nyte to appear. She watches with awe as Zephyr holds the earring aloft, it glowing with a almost sickly light. He mutters a few words and hurls it at the ground, smashing the earring to pieces. "That should keep him in that realm for a good long time, until he figures out how to escape but we have time to prepare for him to be back. Liriel...are you ok? He didn't..." "No, you arrived just in time Zephyr...it was a really close call." Liriel rubs her arms, looking away from him, disturbed from what happened and how very likely it is she will have to look into this malevolent red eyes once more. "Liriel...do you want to talk about it? You don't look well..." "I'll be fine Zephyr, really. Thank you for...rescuing me." Zephyr quietly nods, not looking convinced and sighs. He reaches out to touch her cheek but she draws away, turning to the side. "I...need to go off by myself...I'm grateful I am but I just...need to be left alone." Zephyr's eyes widen, looking a little hurt but drops his hand and turns away, lips in a tight line. "Fine...I understand..." Liriel quietly walks away, her arms around herself tightly. She doesn't look behind her at Zephyr, shivering but not from cold. She quietly wanders, hour upon hour passes as she does. Liriel walks up many winding stairs til eventually finds herself outside on the very top of Zephyr's house. Her eyes widen as she takes in the barren landscape, looking totally void of life. Not even a single blade of grass sprouts from the arid ground and Liriel remembers the stories told to her long ago. Tears start to stream down her cheeks as she remembers the seeming justified actions of her ancestors, how they destroyed much of the demonic world. Even after thousands of years, the demon world lay in total waste and only traces remain of a once lush world. Liriel bows her head, guilt that none of her kin have ever felt before lays heavily on her shoulders. She buries her face in her hands, unable to look at the vast depressing wasteland any longer. "We really do deserve their anger, don't we?" Later on that night... Zephyr strips his clothing and tosses it onto the floor. He stretches, yawning and walks over to his rather large bed. He slips into the velvety soft chocolate brown sheets, a sexy contrast to his pale skin and silver hair. He settles down and waves his hand, turning off the light in his room. He curls up under the covers and is about to drift off when he hears his door open. He sits up and turns a light on to see a dusty Liriel, white tracks down her face from where she had been crying. Forgetting the hurt she caused him, Zephyr opens his arms and Liriel flies into them, clinging to him tightly. He presses his cheek on the top of her soft crimson hair, holding her close. "I'm so sorry for everything my kind has done to yours, Zephyr. I wish there has some way to take back everything that has been done..." Zephyr touches her chin and tilts her face up, looking at her gently. "You can start with me, Liriel." Liriel looks into Zephyr's lime green eyes, tears streaming down her cheeks. Zephyr gently wipes her tears away and leans in to kiss her, Liriel melting into it.
