The Intrepid may be a remarkable piece of Precursor technology, but it has been 20 years since the science mission to Vela, and we have no clue about what has happened on Earth. My name is Captain Kody James Robinson. My father, Koren Dustin Robinson, was sent to the Vela star system 20 years ago by Star Control on a secret mission to colonize and research the planet. It was believed that the ancient and technologically advanced Precursors had spent several years in the Vela star system, and that having my fathers team investigate the technology there might give Starcontrol a chance to face the Ur-quan more evenly in battle. At the time, the Ur-Quan were easily defeating the other races who had formed an alliance to stand against them. The Ur-Quan had combat thralls and fallow slaves, but no equals. My father and his team spent nearly 10 years searching the planets in the Vela system and finally they were able to find a huge cache of Precursor information. Another five years of deciphering it and then he and his team were able to determine that one of the planets housed a huge subterranean factory that built starships. Another year of gathering enough raw materials to complete the skeleton of one ship – and that included recycling the materials from the ships that they came from 16 years earlier. Two years later, the factory finished producing a perfectly framed ship – my ship- the Intrepid. The reason it's mine – that's a more interesting story. I was 18 when the ship was completed, and the entire colony – there were about 130 of us total by then, gathered in the skeleton of the ship. My dad explained that even though the ship had been made, no one had been able to do the xeno-linguistics necessary to get the ship to operate correctly. He said that the entire colony would have to spend time working on the precursor language and writing systems until we were able to get the ship to work for us. And I was the one that was able to do it the best. The bad news is that the ships crew pod only holds 50 of us, so the other 80 had to stay on the planet. We are going to go back and get them at some point in the near future, and bring them back to earth. But the mission for the today is to head to the Pluto – I want to fill the cargo hold before we return to the home planet. February 18th, Pluto – mission log – The landing started off uneventfully, with the team picking up 5 Tzo crystals, then they went to explore an energy reading that the Intrepid was picking up. When they approached, that is when things went bad. The ship was inhabited by a lone Spathi, Fwiffo, and when the lander approached, he fired on it, thinking that we were returning only to attack and overrun the star system. James Kowalski, Mike Fritz, Amy Chin, Eric O'Donnell, Joseph Luigi, and the Lieberman triplets (Jack, Jake, James), were all killed at that point. The lander was able to initiate the emergency launch procedure. The rest of the crew made it back safely. After talking to Fwiffo for about half an hour, and convincing him that we weren't going to hurt him, he agreed to stay with us. Fwiffo did give us some information – the coordinated of his homeworld, and the super secret spathi cipher – Huffi-Muffi-Guffi. Even more importantly, he has added his Eluder starship to the fleet with the Intrepid and the Enterprise. The only effect that this has had on command is that we have done a roster reassignment. The Intrepid now has 45 crewman, Fwiffo's Eluder now has 15, and the Enterprise has only captain Pike. I can only hope when we reach Earth, they can refill our needs as far as crewman are concerned. February 19th, 2155 Today the crew and I are in orbit of Saturn's moon Titan. We lost one crew member mining Titan. Jim Searles. He was a good man, and I will miss him dearly. February 20th, 2155 We have moved out to Neptune's moon Triton in order to mine it. No casualities were reported, making it a truly great day. The crew is growing excited and apprehensive about returning to Earth – they thought we would have encountered more ships by now. The crew does trust me, they have known me all my life, but some think that mining is just a way for me to keep us from going right to Earth. February 21st-22nd, 2155 We entered Jupiter's orbit today, and though we can't possibly mine the main planet, we are going to attempt to mine 4 of the larger moons in its orbit. Io claimed the life of Carlton Jones. Europa was mined without loss. Ganymede was also mined without loss. Because Callisto had served as a home to the Spathi before they left the system, the planet was barren and didn't require mining. February 23rd, 2155 We are orbiting Mars. There is no base here, and that is very surprising to me. Mining happened without loss and filled our cargo bay. I informed the crew and they cheered as they knew we would be heading to Earth as our next stop. February 24th, 2155 This has been an interesting day, to say the least. When we entered Earth's orbit, an Ur-Quan DRONE vessel approached us, and informed us that Earth was a slave planet, and that we were not to approach it. It also told us to remain in the sector. It then left the solar system. We entered Earth's orbit, and found that it was encased in a shield that we couldn't penetrate in any way. After several scans yielding nothing, we decided to approach the orbital space station. There we met Starbase Commander Johnathon Hayes. The platform needed supplies so we gave them to him and then the platform was back to normal. After he got the base back into normal operating levels he told us that he would consider joining us if we investigated the base on the moon first. We traveled to the moon, and discovered what Fwiffo had told us was true – he was the only one left of the Heirarchy guard here. I had only half believed him to that point, but now I was fully convinced of everything he had told us. Before we had time to report everything back to Commander Hayes, an Ilwrath vessel closed and attacked us. Fwiffo's ship jumped into action, and the Ilwrath ship was destroyed. After that battle was over, Commander Hayes agreed to open the base to us, and the idea that we could use it to free Earth. February 25th, 2155 Commander Hayes has made accommodations for the crew and for me. The base is capable of doing everything we need it to do in order to sustain the three thousand people on- and the fifty that I have brought don't seem to be a burden to him. I have been shown to my quarters and asked to rest for the rest of the day. After the journey home, and all of the excitement of the last week, I know that I need the rest. February 27th, 2155 Commander Hayes came today and discussed with me that his scientist have scanned the ship and found out that they will be able to make an emergency escape pod. It will cost five units of fuel every time it is used, but will allow us to escape if the Intrepid and it's escort ships end up in a situation where they could end up in an un-winable battle. This upgrade is invaluable due to the fact that I currently don't know where the Ur-quan or there allies are in space. February 28th, 2155 I reassembled the people who traveled with me from Vela, and spoke with all of them at great length. Captain Pike wishes to remain at the helm of his ship, the Enterprise, and since he is 35 years older then me, and my father's best friend, I will allow this. I will also keep my first officer, Simon Rice, in order to maintain clarity of command. The rest of the people that traveled from Vela are going to remain at the starbase receiving training from the other personnel here. I will be taking on 48 crew people, which Commander Hayes told me I may select over the course of the next 10 days. He said that his science team will need that time to study the structure of the Intrepid, and learn how they can augment, fuel, and set the ship up to perform different functions. He showed me the computer file that will allow me to access and review all information they gather. March 1st, 2155 At his request, Commander Hayes had lunch with me, and then spent an hour briefing me on the bases capabilities. He told me that he will be seeing me every day until the ship leaves again. March 9th, 2155 Commander Hayes was surprised today when I handed him two roster sets and I simply smiled and told him that I planned on mining until June, and then taking a trip around the galaxy, and made up both teams while I had the time. He smiled, and then asked me if I ever slept more then five hours. March 10th,2155 After tallying the contents of our cargo bin, and selling the ships gun for more resource units, I informed Commander Hayes to put in as many thrusters as the Intrepid would hold. I told him to do the same for turning jets, and he told me that we would fall just short of being able to do that. At this point the Intrepid needs 1 thruster and one turning jet to be as fast and maneuverable as it can be. March 11th, 2155 The new crew and I traveled to the moon, and finished mining it. The crew seemed comfortable driving the extractor, and with the Intrepid moving so much faster and freely, I almost can not wait to take it out of the solar system. March 12th, 2155 Mercury is our goal today, and it is a toughy. It has earthquakes, hotspots, and a large amount of minerals. I have briefed the crew, and we will rotate each time the lander returns. Mining occurred without loss of live – it took five trips total. We were able to get another thruster, but we will have to do more mining before we can get our turning jet. March 13th, 2155 We are leaving today for the Lyrae system – Going to Beta Lyrae first, as it is further away, and the after we have mined it, we will hit Alpha Lyrae on the way back to Sol, if our cargo bay isn't full. It is the first time we have left this system since we returned one month ago. It feels good. March 14th, 2155 As we are moving through the stars, I am reading the Star Control guidelines. I wasn't greatly interested in it, but other then speaking with the new crew, and trying to figure out what exactly to do, I have a lot of time on my hands when I'm not at the helm. Something that is most interesting to me is that Star Control seemed very formal at it's inception, but by the time the war with the Ur-Quan peeked, the guidelines had boiled down to necessity and authority. Who was in charge, and what they could do with their ships, command, ect. The other interesting part, or at least to me, is that simply by my ability to control the Intrepid, I have already been assumed by Commander Hayes to have the rank of Captain. March 15th, 2155 Simon and I had lunch together today and I mentioned the Star Control guidelines. Simon's response was immediate and didn't miss a moment, "Dude, that base had the entire stockpile of every movie and television series ever made. Ask Hayes to transfer some of them to this ship. You need to get some entertainment – before you go crazy out here." Late into the night I was alerted that we had entered the Beta Lyrae system. March 16th,2155 Planet 5 in the system was beautiful. No lives were lost, and the entire planet was covered in the most precious elements we could find. March 17th, 2155 Planet 4 was a super dense world, with class 7 tectonics. I told the crew that there would be no mining expedition to the planet, because of safety concerns. March 18th, 2155 Planet 3 was unmineable, but it did have 3 moons which were minable. We did, however, lose 4 crewmembers. Dan Jenkins, Mark Haas, Mike Ruup, and David Laredo. March 19th, 2155 Planet 2 was a large gas giant with 4 moons. No losses were encountered while mining them. March 20th, 2155 Planet 1 was an Iodine planet. It was mined successfully. We have set the course for Alpha Lyrae. The memorial for the four lost crewman was held today. March 21st, 2155 This ship moving at top speed through space is amazing. The structural engineers at the base reinforced it slightly and we don't feel the movement as much as long as our speed is constant, but we do feel changes in direction or velocity. March 22nd, 2155 I have told Simon that the reason for my particular interest in the Star Control guidelines is that the rules for conduct on a ship are different then at a base or on a planet. Simon did decide to read the guidelines after that just to see what I meant. March 23rd, 2155 We arrived in Alpha Lyrae. It is a two planet system, and when we prepared to mine the first planet, the lander went, and after transferring some elements I was informed that the cargo bay was full. I asked why the loadmaster hadn't informed me when we left Beta Lyrae, and was informed that the loadmaster was Mark Haas, one of the 4 crewman killed when mining Beta Lyrae. We plotted our course back to Earth without being able to completely mine Alpha Lyrae. March 25th, 2155 We have returned to the starbase. After unloading the minerals, I took on 4 new crew people able to replace the ones we had lost mining Beta Lyrae. I then got the final turning jet for the ship, making it as fast and maneuverable as it can be. I filled our fuel cell to maximum capacity, and then I had another cargo bay fabricated and installed. My logic is that the more resources we can get on each trip away from the base, the quicker we can make the flagship something more then a heavy mining vessel. After all of the adjustments were made, I had the crew plot a course for Canopus, and informed them that we would again be coming through Alpha Lyrae on the way home. March 26th, 2155 Captain Pike transported over today from the Enterprise and spoke with Simon and I at lunch. He said he feels a bit odd being the oldest person aboard any of the ships, but it does feel good to be surrounded by beautiful women who are curious about life on another planet, and who look up to his rank. He then asked me if I was having any problems coping with advances from my crewmembers. I told him that I hadn't even had a girl flirt with me yet, and Simon chimed in that when I'm not on the bridge that I'm reading about the history of the war and any other information I can get my hands on. I explained that I think it's more vital to the mission right now then trying to hook up with a girl in space. Although, I must admit, my urges are still there, and I can't stop thinking about what the guidelines said – that all crewmen aboard a ship must follow any order that will not result in physical harm. Could I really order a female to allow me touch her so that I would have less sexually tension? March 27th, 2155 I have decided to speak to Commander Hayes about my questions in regard to the guidelines. We are in route to Canopus at the moment, but when we return from this mining trip, I will speak to him, while the adjustments to the ship are being made. March 28th, 2155 The Intrepid and the crew have arrived in Canopus to find it a one planet system. We have mined the planet, and already set course for Alpha Lyrae. I was truly hoping for a bigger find. March 29th, 2155 I talked to Fwiffo today. It was a rather long and interesting conversation spanning philosophy, the nature of Spathi science, Precursor technology, and his knowledge and understanding of history. My initial impression of him as a cowering and weak being was far off, he has a vast array of knowledge, does very well with maintaining his ship, and has offered a lot with regard to contacting and meeting with other races. March 30th, 2155 Today was the most boring day in space ever. I have completed my readings on Star Control, have learned a great deal about history and other races, and I have made a general plan of what to do when we go around the galaxy. March 31st, 2155 We have finally returned to Alpha Lyrae. Mining its first planet was successful. April 1st, 2155 We have successfully mined the second planet and plotted a course home. Though our cargo bays are far from full, I need to speak with Commander Hayes. Also, I wanted to mine a system just inside the Ilwrath space, and I wanted to be sure that he and the base knew about it. If the Intrepid is detected there, and forced to fight, then no doubt the Ur-Quan will find out about us sooner then I want. But I feel that this expedition is necessary. April 4th, 2155 We've stopped at the Starbase. I talked to Commander Hayes and he told me, very gently, that whatever I decide to do on the ship that doesn't hurt or kill a crewman is legal by Star Control regulations. He did say however, that you have to be sure that when and if you do order something out of the ordinary that you don't do it so often that it effects moral, or causes the crew to lose respect for you. I have to think hard about that. April 5th, 2155 We've plotted the course to Delta Centauri. It's the first mission with real danger attached to it. The crew seems very edgy, and responsive. April 7th, 2155 We have arrived in the Delta Centauri system, and it has 8 planets. Though planet 8 did not have enough resource for us to land on, we are hopeful that the rest of the system will provide a good bounty for us. April 8th, 2155 The 7th planet had two moons. It was primordial, and therefore, unmineable, but the crew and I focused on the moons. April 9th, 2155 The planet we mined today had so many gold deposits that the crew called it a treasure planet. I remembered the book and smiled to myself. April 11th, 2155 We remain in Delta Centauri, mining. We have filled one cargo bay. April 12th, 2155 I did a commander's call with the crew today, and commended all of them on the fine job they have done thus far. Everyone seems to be very open to my leadership, even though I am very young, and I am glad that they are going to follow me as they are. April 13th, 2155 We are mining the final planet in the Delta Centauri, and then we are going to return to station. I have talked to Simon, and he agrees with me that getting another crew pod is an excellent idea. I told him that I thought we would finish mining the Centauri system and then see how well we could set the ship up, and if we could go around the galaxy, that we should. On that note, I told him that once we did decide to embark on the long quest, I wanted to have 98 females as the crew people. I told him that would give us 4 shifts of 24 crewman each, with 2 crewman as reserve in case of illness or death. He agreed with me, stating that he would choose 49 crewpeople from the base if I would, making sure that we would each be able to find good candidates for the long haul. I told Simon also that I would be inspecting the females physically, after we were out on the long mission. Initially I toyed with the idea of having a squad do a formation before a shift, and having all of them strip, but it seemed impractical, and far too much fantasy. I think that I have to make sure I can do this with one person in reality, and not feel as though I'm doing something wrong. Simon told me that he hasn't had a problem getting the girls to sleep with him willing, but if I like the idea of ordering them to disrobe, that I should. He said that as hard as I am working, the distraction might help. And then, a moment later he said it's likely that the Ur-quan are going to eventually kill us, so you won't have to worry so much about your karma. I'm slightly concerned, because I think that Simon believes that there is no way that we can free Earth and defeat the Ur-quans. Right now I don't have anything to convince me otherwise, but I have my faith. April 17th, 2155 Commander Hayes was thrilled that we arrived back with two full cargo bays. He told me that while it might not be a great thing, even if I could keep up this level of mining for one year, they would have enough resources to make 25 ships and start trying to piece the alliance back together. I informed him that my immediate plan was to finish mining the Centauri system, and then see what the state of the Intrepid was. UR-Quan I also asked while we were at the station about the cache of movies and television shows from pre-space Earth. Commander Hayes did say that they do have a full library, but because of the small amount of energy it took to load and play each one, extrapolated over the 3000 personnel on base, and the number of shows and movies, he had locked them. I asked if I could unlock some of them for a future trip, and he said that was fine, and I had him send the index to Simon so that he could make the decisions regarding what would go on the onboard ship computer. April 18th, 2155 We are leaving the starbase and heading to the Beta Centauri system. This trip has a possibility of allowing us to check 5 star systems, though I hope our cargo bays are filled before that. Simon was ecstatic to find out about the entertainment index, and said that during his off shift, he will find some suitable materials for us to travel with. I told him that the only parameters I required were variety – I wanted comedy, drama, action, and romance to be in the selections that he chose. April 19th, 2155 Today's deep space travel was interesting, it was nice to have a larger crew and allowed the amount of work to decrease, putting everyone at ease. I didn't realize that when you only have 12 people per shift, that the workload is so high. I think that staying at 100 crewmembers is a goal that Simon and I will try to maintain until we are successful at completing our mission. April 20th, 2155 Fwiffo came to me today, and asked about the planet where I grew up, and the people still there. I had almost forgotten that we needed to get back to them, and I have made sure to plan it for a future mission. April 21st, 2155 We have arrived in Beta Centauri. It is a six planet system. Planet 6 was a Urea world, completely barren. April 22nd, 2155 We mined planet 4 without incident today. April 23rd, 2155 After some debate, planet 5 was not mined. Class 6 tectonics are slightly above the level I want to risk my crew people for, especially when scans show nothing of great value on the surface. April 24th, 2155 Planet 2 was mined without incident. We then moved into orbit of planet one, which had 3 moons that we could mine. The main planet was a large gas giant with nothing to offer. April 25th, 2155 Today is my 21st birthday. Simon had arranged a surprise party in the observation lounge that was very festive. Many of the crew people were much more social with me, and Simon told me after most of the party had dispersed, "You know, these guys, they didn't grow up with you. They don't know you. They trust your leadership, but you are a mythical figure to them. You need to do more things like this, become more human. Don't be completely obsessed with trying to figure out how to fix Earth's problem." I knew he was right. We also mined the moons in orbit of third planet. The crew is getting so much better at piloting the lander and avoiding accidental mishaps that we may be able to build the ship up without as many casualties as I thought. Before the day ended the loadmaster informed me that the cargo bays were 85% full, and I told him to plot us to Alpha Centauri. I know we won't be able to mine much from the system, because the main star is a red giant, and the planets in the system will be too hot, but maybe there are some that are worth it. April 26th, 2155 Today, after my command shift was done, a female crewmember came to my quarters and asked if I would take her on the long haul journey. She said that she had never been happier then when she was onboard the ship, traveling the stars, and seeing new planet. Her name is Marla. I told her that I would review her performance record and consider it, and she stood to leave. Before she got to the door though, I told her to stop, and turn to face me. She did. I had thought about the guidelines so much, I wanted to see her reaction more then anything else. "Strip," I said, as much a request as it was an order. She looked at me for a moment, and then began removing her clothes without comment. When she was completely naked, she stood without modesty, her hands at her sides, as though waiting for further orders. She has an amazing body – large supple breasts capped with very small protruding nipples that stuck out just slightly. Her pubic hair was untrimmed, and her legs had gone several days without shaving. "Marla," I said quietly, "Please shave your legs, and trim your pubic mound. I would like to have lunch with your tomorrow to discuss you staying onboard during the long haul. You may redress now." She replied a "Thank you, sir," and then redressed, and left. I can't remember the last time I was able to think of something other then how to help earth. April 27th, 2155 We have arrived at Alpha Centauri, and there is an alien ship in the system. We are approaching it now to make contact. Because of this alien contact, I have postponed my lunch with Marla, and told her that I will keep her aboard until we can discuss her desire to be aboard for the long trip. ** The alien ship was Melnorme, a previously unknown race. They are primarily a species for trade. It was a bit a unnerving, but the Melnorme seemed to have a well of knowledge about our ship, our mission, and what has been going on, even though we have been active less then three months. The Melnorme want biological data on alien life form, and location of Rainbow world planets. They seem to have technology that will make our mission more successful, and information when we have the credits to purchase them. I refilled the Intrepid with fuel, and had a balance of 75 credits with the Melnorme for future use. April 28th, 2155 We have decided to attempt to mine planet 8. It is a ruby world with the most valuable resources available on it. We simply must be as safe as possible, because the extreme heats cause radiant blasts on the surface that could kill passengers in the lander. We lost one crewperson on the surface, Tom Spires. We have laid in coordinates for SOL, and the memorial will be held for Tom in the morning. April 29th, 2155 I was finally able to sit down to lunch with Marla today. I asked her if she were uncomfortable, and she told me no. After we ate our food, we talked about her situation. She is an adventurer, at her heart, and being stuck on the space station has caused her to go into a depression. She says that being on the ship makes her feel alive again. I invited her back to my quarters, and once we were alone I asked her about the other day. "When I ordered you to strip, what were you thinking?" She shrugged a bit, and then said, "I figured that you were thinking I'd be willing to do anything to go on that long trip. And I am. But I've also read the guidelines, everyone at the station has – you can order me to do that anytime, and I can't do anything about it. I was just amazed though. I thought for sure you would make me have sex with you." I calculated my next sentence carefully, "Is that what you wanted, or just what you expected?" And she laughed, and said, "A little of both; but, let's not delve into my fantasies just yet. Just tell me that you will keep me on the ship." And I did. So after our lunch outing, I informed Simon of our new permanent crew member. April 30th, 2155 I am feeling exceptionally tired today. After my shift I went back to my room and did some calculation about the long trip. I think that we may be able to leave for it in June. May 1st, 2155 It seems as though returning to the starbase is as routine and mundane as it gets, but the crew seems excited about the amount of cargo we are holding and returning. Also, the news of encountering a friendly alien trade species has made the crew eager to report back to the base. May 2nd, 2155 Commander Hayes has informed me that we are being bathed in a broad beam spectrum with a broadcast from Rigel. I have looked at the starmap and have charted it as part of our future plans. Also, Commander Hayes and I discussed history, the other alien races, and the current plans for our continuing plan of action. Commander Hayes seems impressed with my ability to absorb the information, and told me that in three months I have learned as much as most of the cadets at the starbase learned in six years of study. Also, after the cargo was unloaded, and everything was tallied I was asked what configuration I wanted on the ship. I doubled the fuel tanks, and added more cargo bays. I still want to finish mining Centauri, so that we can add some defensive capability to the ship, before going around the galaxy. I set our route to Zeta Centauri, and went to bed. May 3rd, 2155 The ship now has 4 cargo bays, so I am hoping we can mine the entire Centauri system, and be back home by the end of May. May 4th, 2155 Relatively uneventful day. I did have lunch again with Marla, and we spoke about our lives growing up. It is interesting to share histories. Also, Simon gave me a rough draft for the entertainment he wants to have downloaded to the ships computer. May 5th, 2155 Today, after my shift, I asked Marla to come to my quarters, and ordered her to strip again. She was completely shaven this time. This time I spent nearly an hour feeling her entire body, before I eventually came. I was still dressed, but I was rubbing my crotch against her butt, while my hands were massaging her breasts and she was leaning against a wall. I had no idea how much frustration I had built up. I thought about after she had left, it has been over six months since I had touched a woman's body. May 6th, 2155 Marla came by before my shift today and told me she had a wonderful time yesterday. I think she may enjoy being controlled a bit. I told her that I want to do more, but I don't want to commit to a relationship, and she laughed at me. Literally laughed. I asked her what was funny, and she explained to me that monogamy had fallen out of practice about 15 years ago, that we could have fun without it being exclusive. That made me feel better, and hornier all at the same time. May 7th, 2155 We have arrived in Zeta Centauri. May 8th, 2155 We have begun mining with great zeal. The first planet had three moons, some with biologicals. I look forward to our next encounter with the Melnorme. I have made another date with Marla for tomorrow night. May 9th, 2155 We have successfully completed mining the Zeta Centauri system, and we are not moving to the Epsilon Centauri system. We have suffered no causalities here, something that has helped moral quite a bit. The date with Marla was good, though she did tell me that we wouldn't be able to have our normal physical interaction because her feminine cycle was happening. So we ate, had pleasant conversation, and then I went back to my room and reviewed the entertainment chart, crew chart, and ship configuration that I desired for our long voyage. May 10th, 2155 We arrived in the Epsilon Centauri system, and found it to have only one planet. May 11th, 2155 Commenced with mining, and plotted course to Gamma Centauri. Assembled Fwiffo, Captain Pike, Simon, and Marla to discuss the long trip and what Ideas and thoughts I had for it currently. Fwiffo showed us that he was able to set up a modified scanner that would look specifically for the rainbow worlds that the Melnorme are so interested in, and that if we connect it the deep radar scanner at the station, we should be able to locate a rainbow world within a few days. I could have kissed the clam for that. May 12th, 2155 Today we had a ship appear on our ship hyperspace detector. This is the first ship we have detected since we left Vela. May 13th, 2155 We arrived in Gamma Centauri. It is a 2 planet system. May 14th, 2155 After taking some time to study it, Ensign Richer is sure that he can do a safe lander excursion on the outermost planet in this system, even though it is a level 6 tectonic. She and her team have prepared and studied as much as possible, and are going to mine the planet soon. ** Ensign Richer and her team were able to mine the planet without losing anyone. I reviewed Ensign Richer's record, and it states that she might be the best lander pilot on the base, a definite necessity for the long trip. Even though she is tall, at 5'11", she is thin, weighing only 110 lbs, but seems to have good curves nonetheless. I am most impressed with her. May 15th, 2155 Today, we are mined the intermost planet of the Gamma Centauri system. We lost one person, Dominic Sontag, during the mining. We had gone so long without losing someone that I thought we had just learned to do everything better, and not make mistakes. This one hit me really hard. May 16th, 2155 We've plotted a course back to Alpha Centauri. After discussion with everyone aboard, they feel that taking the chance on mining planet 3, despite the temperature, would be invaluable to the cause of gathering resources. Also, while we are there, we plan to look for the Melnorme trader again. May 17th, 2155 We've studied the planet for two hours now. Ensign Richer and her team will do the first expo down to the surface. I am extremely on edge because I feel that there is no way that this can be a zero casualty dig. ** Ensign Richer's team has returned, and lost 4 crewman. ** Marla's team was on the second run, and had 4 casualties. ** Ensign Lirot's team has returned, and had 4 casualties. ** Lt. Commander Howard's team has returned, and had 2 casualties. ** Ensign Richer took her team down again to finish, and had no casualities. ** In one day I've lost 14 crewman. The remaining crew is somber, but excited in the fact that we have gained more resources today then we have in the previous month of mining. I'm still not sure it was worth it. May 18th, 2155 We remain in Alpha Centauri, looking for the Melnorme. May 19th, 2155 We have encountered the Melnorme again, and have purchased technological specifications for a more powerful gun on the front of our ship. He also told me that the next technological feature available would double the landers speed when mining. We need to get more alien data or find a rainbow world, so that we can get that upgrade. May 20th, 2155 The ship that was moving is closing on the Intrepid, making the crew edgy, to say the least. We currently have no guns or defensive capabilies to speak of. May 21st, 2155 The ship seems to be able to match out speed. I have put the crew on alert, and despite my own wishes, I have told Marla that our plans for a nice date will have to wait a few more nights. May 22nd, 2155 We have encountered the ship – it is marked on our computer screen as a Slylandro Probe. We attempted to enter in peaceful dialect with the probe, but it attacked us with a lightning rod style weapon. The attack killed 5 more crew members, making this our deadliest mission since we began. May 23rd, 2155 Simon came by after his turn at command today, and we talked. He also feels bad about losing people while mining, but he stated that the only constant of life is death, and all of these people died believing that they were doing something. He then stated he plans on going the same way – dying in the line of duty. I asked him if he thought there was any chance of us seeing a free Earth before he died, and he smiled, and said, "No, but that doesn't mean it's not worth fighting for." I am glad that he is my best friend. May 24th, 2155 We have returned to Sol, and I've told Commander Hayes that it is time for us to set out on the long galactic journey we have been preparing for. We hooked up Fwiffo's device, and then began doing the mods to the Intrepid. We have now put in a gun and a spread gun, along with two dynamos to power them. We have updated the crew roster, 98 women – then Simon and me. We uploaded the entertainment that Simon wanted. And we decided that we would brief everyone on at the station about what we were doing. I haven't logged it in writing either, so I guess I should. This next trip isn't going to be just about mining. We are going to try and encounter as many alien races as we can, and we plan on doing a full cycle around the galaxy searching for rainbow worlds. Our sincere hope is that we can find enough that we will be able to max out our technology from the Melnorme, giving us even better tools to advance our cause. Also, we would like to make some alliances if possible. Here are the known stops that I have charted. 1.) Firstly, we travel to Rigel, and see what the signal was that we were getting from there. 2.) Secondly, we return to Vela, and let them know the condition of things. Although we won't have a spare crew pod to evacuate the rest of the team, we will be able to deliver them supplies, and who knows, maybe I can spare enough resources that they can make another Intrepid. 3.) According to Fwiffo's device, there is a rainbow world somewhere in Sextantis. We will travel there, and search for alien races and the rainbow world. After I briefed the entire base, Commander Hayes introduced to his lead scientist, who said he could replicate Fwiffo's device and put it on my ship. It would only have an active range of above 3 parsecs, but it would be better then searching an entire star system when we got close. May 25th, 2155 We have left heading for Rigel. The crew seems extremely upbeat. May 26th, 2155 Simon has reported to me that he will begin the viewing cycle for our programs on June 1st. He said that since we work in six hour shifts, he has made six hours of shows for 6 days a week, that run 4 times a day, so that you can catch all the shows, if you want. He said that on day 7 the T.V.'s will only run two movies – every twelve hours. I told him that should boost morale greatly. May 27th, 2155 Marla and I went on our much belated date, and during dinner, I asked her about fantasies. She said that she was always turned on by being ordered to do things, and that our previous encounters had turned her on quite a great deal. She told me that she would really like to re-enact the first time I made her strip, only this time she wanted to be ordered to do more. I indulged her wishes. We both went to sleep very happy. May 28th, 2155 We are still in route to Rigel. Ensign Richer came by today, after I told her that she would be training the rest of the lander pilots over the next week instead of her normal job duties. She just wanted to speak to me about everything, and I told her that following the week of training, I intended to promote her to LT. May 29th, 2155 We have reached Rigel, a 3 planet system. Planet 3 was a large gas giant, with no signs of anything. May 30th, 2155 The 2nd planet in Rigel has 4 moons, we are searching them for anything that could have sent the signal to our station. We are using these moons as landing simulators for Lt. Richer's training courses. Things are going well with the lander pilots. May 31st, 2155 There was nothing in the 4 moons that sent the signal, we are investigating the final planet of the system, and then we will be moving on to Vela. June 1st, 2155 We have encountered an alien race known as the Zoq-Fot-Pik. They are friendly, and gave us coordinates to their homeworld. We have established that they spoke with the Chenjesu before the war concluded in the manner that it did. They reside in an area of space inhabited by the Ur-quan. All of their colony planets have been destroyed, and only their homeworld remains. We have forged an initial alliance, and can make it formal by visiting Alpha Tucanae. I have added this task to my list, though right now, it seems that the alliance with the Zoq-Fot-Pik will wait until the end of our galactic journey. UR-Quan June 2nd, 2155 We are en route back to Vela, and I have informed the crew that we will spend a day on the surface relaxing once we arrive. Some of these crewman have been in space for over ten years, and haven't walked on a field, or been to a planet surface for any other reason then mining. June 3rd, 2155 Today, after my command shift, I had dinner with Marla, and told her I wanted her to write her fantasies down so that I could read them and give her more of what she wanted. She blushed, and then said that she would. June 4th-6th, 2155 I've compiled the last few days, because the only interesting thing is that we are again being followed in space. June 7th, 2155 We have reached Vela. Instead of encountering my home planet untouched, we found it slave shielded, and with an Ur-quan guarding it. We spoke with the Ur-quan, and I considered fighting it, though I decided to use the escape pod instead. No one was killed in the escape. When we reached hyperspace, we encountered another Slylandro probe. Despite peaceful conversation, it still attacked us. We lost 16 crewpeople during the assault. I have made the evaluation that upon return to the Starbase, it is imperative that I make the intrepid a more combat ready vessel. June 8th, 2155 Captain Pike came over and talked to me after my shift today. He said that I made the right choices in escaping the two fights yesterday. He said that he's watched me grow up, and he believes I can do this. His words made me feel much better. A small memorial was held on the observation deck for the sixteen people who were killed in the Slylandro attack. June 9th,2155 Fwiffo's device has pinpointed a rainbow world at Zeta Sextantis, and that is our next stop. Also, Marla sent me a message with her fantasies written down. She has dreams and fantasies of being forced to strip, being bound, even being taken by two men at once. I do want to speak to her, and find out if I can make all of her fantasies come true while we are on this trip. June 10th-17th, 2155 This entire week has been spent in hyperspace travel, and I have used the time for training, associating myself with all of the crew, and planning our next leg of the journey. With the crew being down to 86 people, we have had to reduce the shifts to 21 people each shift, with the four alternates rotating in every week. This rotation allows people to look forward to a week off, something that I gather they don't do at the space station. June 18th, 2155 We have reached Zeta Sextantis, and Fwiffo's device was correct, we found a rainbow world at the intermost planet. Lt. Richer did the first landing, and we mined the rainbow world successfully. I look forward to our next encounter with the Melnorme. June 19th, 2155 We have lost through people through a cargo bay failure, which caused them to get pulled into deep space. The head engineer, Nickie Myers, said that the containment field in the cargo bay failed while they were inside attempting to secure the minerals we had mined on the rainbow world. These deaths seemed so senseless to me. I was emotionally upset, and I ordered Sgt. Myers to my quarters. I asked her how such a failure could happen, and she tried to explain it. When she was done, I told her that she needed to be sure that it would not happen again. Then I ordered her to strip, and I spanked her. I ordered her to return to her quarters before getting re-dressed, an order that I am sure she followed at. June 20th, 2155 – June 30th,2155 Although our radar is picking up a lot of ships, we seem to be the fastest and most maneuverable out here. And after a few days of being shut down, mentally and emotionally, I had one of the squads of girls line up after their shift. I picked one at random, a technical seargant Garey, and when we got back to my quarters, I ordered her to strip, to masterbate, to massage me, and to perform oral sex on me. She did all of these things for me, without question. I can not say without reluctance, but without question. When we were finished, I had her lie in bed next to me, and I felt bad, and said, "I hope you don't think less of me for this." Her response was a touch unexpected, "Captain, you have to weight of the world on your shoulders. You don't really have time to romance anyone. This is kinda what has to be done. It's not ideal for anyone, but I'm not going to hate you for it." With that, she got dressed, and then came over and sat on the bed, and looked at me. "Just don't pick me every time. The other girls might get jealous." July 1st, 2155 Fwiffo's device was right on about another rainbow world being at Gamma Kepler. And we have set course for Gamma Reticuli, despite many grumblings from the crew. July 2nd,2155- July 9th,2155 Gamma Reticuli is in Ur-Quan space. The crew thinks that I'm marching them right into a death trap. I've tried reassuring them that we are faster and more maneuverable then the Ur-Quan ships, and that we are not going to engage in battle, but they still seem to believe that we are going to be killed out here. So I had a commander's call, and informed the crew that I grieve over the people I've lost already, and I'm only delving into Ur-Quan space to scan a Rainbow world, and then we are out of it. They seemed much happier. Post – I've become very interested in the old television series Angel. It's wonderful writing, acting, and there is a girl on the ship who looks a great deal like the actress who plays Cordelia. July 10th, 2155 – July 14th, 2155 The commanders call did seem to help morale. That, and the fact that we seem to be outrunning everything that pops into hyperspace. July 15th, 2155 We have reached Gamma Reticuli, and scanned the rainbow world here. Fwiffo came aboard and said that his deep radar scanner is getting anomalous readings from Arcturus, so we set course for Arcturus. July 16th, 2155 Today, I had a lunch with six girls from the ship. We discussed everything. The only one I recognized prominently was Lt. Richer, but the girls seemed to enjoy talking to me, in an environment away from the bridge. July 17th- 26th, 2155 I've made it a habit of having lunch or dinner in groups with the girls. It is fun, and it has calmed the nerves. I've also started having some of them come to my quarters to watch Angel – a show I am completely enthralled with. One of the girls, private Castillo remarked that I would look like Lindsey if I cut my hair different. I decided that I could work out a little, and that my build would be a lot more similar. I do have the smile, and the facial features, though he and I have different eyes. Marla and I have also been more daring and experimental. I've now experienced oral sex, anal sex, tittie-fucking, cunnilingus, and light bondage during sex. She has a very active imagination, and I feel that it is opening my boundaries quite a bit. Several of the other girls have also been more flirtatious with me since I have worked at being more social. Sgt. Garey even said, at the dinner table, "When you going to pick me again?" I think I'm enjoying the long trips a bit more then I expected. July 27th, 2155 We have reached Arcturus. We are receiving signal from the moon on the first planet. Upon investigation we found a hyperwave caster on the surface. The crew of the lander retrieved it, and we are going to test it when in hyperspace. July 28th, 2155 Fwiffo's Rainbow world detector says that Alpha Andromeda will have one. July 31st, 2155 We have been encountered by another Slylandro Probe. This was my third attempt at peaceful communication, and now I feel that I must threaten the probe on contact at our next meeting. We lost 10 people to the probe. August 1st, 2155 We have held a service for the lost crewman. And I have informed the crew that upon the next probe encounter, I will attempt to destroy it. August 2nd, 2155 – August 4th, 2155 The hyperwave caster sends out a message to the Melnorme. When we talked to the Melnorme, they gave us 500 credits for each rainbow world we discovered. With the 1500 credits we purchased a lot of technology – we doubled the landers speed, got specification for point defense lasers for the flagship, made the planet landers resistant to hostile alien life forms (which will make gathering the data the Melnorme want easier), then we got an upgrade doubling the cargo volume of the lander. The next day the Melnorme offered us double capacity fueltank blueprints for the Intrepid. Then we doubled the firing rate on the landers stun gun. The next improvement made my head spin though. They had a modification making the lander resistant to earthquakes. The Melnorme insisted that the lander would be resistant to earthquakes, not impervious. I tried explaining to him how many crewmember we lost in earthquake events, and told him that if we had something to make it resistant to weather, we would be set. Well, after we bought auto tracking modules for the Intrepid, he showed me they do have a weather upgrade. We bought that as well. The final upgrade we were able to afford was a heat shield, making it more resistant to planetary hotspots. August 5th, 2155 I schedule a briefing with the lander pilots to discuss the upgrades to the landers. I had set course for Alpha Andromeda before the briefing began, and then went in to the conference room. By now, I've had lunch, or dinner with every girl on the ship, in a group. They all feel comfortable with me, and capable of being able to talk to me. But I had scheduled this as a two hour work briefing. When I went in, I couldn't get them to focus, or to quit interrupting, or chatting to one another, while I was showing them the new console features, and how to operate the new systems. Finally, after a half an hour, I had lost my patience. I ordered the entire class to stand, strip completely, and leave their uniforms on their chairs. After they were all naked I said, very sternly, "I schedule a two hour work briefing. You girls are chattering. We aren't off duty, this isn't relaxing time. Knowing these systems is going to keep our crew alive. You've wasted my time today. You can stand here, naked, until the time that the briefing is to conclude. We will repeat the information tomorrow." With that I left, but I did check the monitor every fifteen minutes. None of the girls spoke or attempted to dress until time was up. August 6th,2155 Today, the briefing went without incident. Afterword, I had Lt. Richer stay. I asked her if there was any backlash from my decision yesterday. She said that after they were released, they had dinner together, and they realized that I work very hard to keep us all safe, and expect them to be professional when on duty. I told her good, that I don't want them to feel that I was scolding without reason. After that she asked, without reservation, if we could go to my quarters and fuck. She had never shown any attraction to me before, barely flirting, and she was so blunt. We did go back to my quarters, and had sex, very rough, hard, physical sex. Jamie Richer has a very defined body, very lean, with just enough curve to make her sensual. With her hair down, she's very hot. August 7th, 2155 Marla came to my quarters today, and we had very passionate sex, which is different from our regular encounters. Generally, Marla wants to engage in a fantasy where she is ordered to do something that she doesn't wish to, but she follows these orders anyway- against her will. When we were done with the romantic sex this evening though, I asked her if she wanted me to help fulfill the one fantasy that she hadn't had as of yet – where she is handcuffed, blindfolded, and taken by more then one man. She grew very quiet, and then she said, sheepishly, "It's so hard for me to decide if I could do that for real or not." August 8th,2155 We have arrived in Alpha Andromeda. Again, Fwiffo's device is right. This rainbow world has a high surface temperature, and a weather class of 4. But the Melnorme technology performed wonderfully, and we lost no one. Fwiffo states that he thinks Groombridge has another rainbow world. That's also as far as our current starmap takes us away from Earth, so when we get close to the star, we will use the hyperwave caster, to get the Melnorme's attention. If Fwiffo is right, and we have two more rainbow worlds, we will be very well off with the Melnorme. August 10th, 2155- August 17th, 2155 Although there is very little activity to report about the nature of the mission, I have been in heat this week. A different girl has come back to my quarters with me each night this week, and I've had sex with each of them, and none of them seems at all bothered about it. The atmosphere on the ship is almost festive. Simon and I did take to a private dinner between the two of us this evening, just to speak to one another. He stated that of the 68 women aboard, he has had 59. He said he believes he can have the other 9 before we return to Earth. I remarked that I haven't been so active in variety, until this last week, and he told me that a lot of the girls are starting to go stir crazy – the went from being on a base with a relatively equal mix, to this, and they are starting to want their needs addressed. I told him that I've only had about a dozen, but that I'm not as outgoing as him, and I'm busier. We also discussed other things – the entertainment log, crew rotation upon returning to the starbase, and the general thought of what he had accomplished in the last six months. I went to sleep alone, for the first night in a week. August 18th, 2155 We used the hyperwave caster to call for the Melnorme today. Hopefully we will get a hit on the radar. August 19th,2155 We have met with the Melnorme, and purchased Hellbore Cannons, and Shiva furnaces. We also filled the fuel tanks to max capacity. August 20th, 2155 – August 23rd, 2155 We have arrived in Groombridge, and there is a rainbow world here. We have mined part of it. I am trying to save room in the storage bay for the rest of the trip home. The crew feels very good knowing that we are able to use the hyperwave caster to call the Melnorme whenever we need them. August 24th, 2155 Fwiffo came over today and stated that he has used Groombridge as a point, and he noted that the Rainbow worlds we had previously visited formed a straight line. Since his detector picked up on a signal of one at Gamma Aquarii, we set course there. He showed me that if the patern holds true, there will also be rainbow worlds at Beta Leporis, Epsilon Lipi, Epsilon Draconis, and Beta Pegasi. I decided that if he was right, we would visit the first two, and then go safely out of the Ur-Quan scanner range before using the hyperwave caster to summon the Melnorme. Then I believe I should use some of the credits to purchase some information, and find out if the Melnorme truly do have information that is vital to our mission. *** August 25th, 2155- August 28th,2155 We have set course for Delta Aquarii. Lt. Richer has asked me if she can begin the training program to become a Lt. Commander. I told her I would check with the guidelines, I believe she can do all training certifications, but will not be eligible to gain the rank until she held the rank of Lt. for at least eighteen months. Simon has said that the entertainment seems to be working well. The lineup has given crewmembers something to talk about, and a variety of things to do – reading, watching television, playing instruments, along with everything else they need to do for the ship. August 29th, 2155 We have had more ships appear on the hyperspace radar. Since this area was only previously charted by deep space telescope radar, we are not sure if there are other life forms here. I only hope that there is not another Slylandro probe closing on our ship. Marla and I had a rendevous today. I pushed her as hard as I ever had before, asking her if I should make her fantasies reality and then find out if I had gone too far, or not. She kissed me right after that, and then said, "I really like you, Kody, and I know you like dominating me when we are alone, but we both know that you won't go outside the box." And I think that if I do, she will want me even more then she does now. August 30th, 2155 I have put the ship on all-stop. It's our first one in hyperspace. The deep space radar operator told me that the speed that the probes moved at, and the speed that his readings were getting, were not nearly the same. So I thought it would be an opportunity to meet a new race. August 31st, 2155 Today, we encountered a race who call themselves, the Utwig. They seemed to have a collective depression because a mystic device of theirs, called the Ultron, was broken. We have resumed course to Gamma Aquarri. September 1st, 2155 Today, two crew people that I haven't had the chance of getting to know on a personal level, asked if they could accompany me to my quarters. This was at the dinner meal, following my shift. I politely asked them which one, and they smiled and said both. I had never had sex with more then one person at a time, and the only time I had thought of it was in helping Marla fulfill one of her fantasies. The two girls, Master Sergeant Huckabee and Staff Sergeant Lyons were very happy to share sex with each other and me. It was exhilarating, being able to watch them touch one another, having them each perform on me, or even watching one perform an act to the other while I was having sex with them. The experience left me very tired, however, and after they left, I barely caught the last showing of Angel for the day. September 2nd, 2155 We have arrived at Gamma Aquarri. There are scores of Utwig ships in this sector. In our second conversation with them, they stated that they had never encountered the Ur-quan, and then the spoke of a race near Arcturus, we must have missed them because of the detour through Ur-quan space. They also spoke of another race, called the Kohr-Ah, and they said that the Kohr-Ah live to kill. They noted that this race headed toward Crateris after starting a massacre of the Utwig. We will have to investigate when I have a battle worthy ship. Before the end of the long story, we also found out that there is a sister species, the Supox, in the nearby star systems. Finally, he talked of a relic at Zeta Hyades that could end their suffering, but it is a bomb of great power. And the Utwig are not ready to use it yet. September 3rd, 2155 The rainbow world at Gamma Aquarri was mined successfully. I have plotted our next two stops at Beta Leporis, and then into what is defined as Supox space by the Utwig. I am hoping that the Supox are not in a great depression, as the Utwig are. I had to have my first disciplinary hearing today. One of the crewmembers, PFC Jada Stone, struck another one, PFC Angela Wood, and then they tussled over a general argument. From everything I can gather, they haven't liked each other for several years prior to being on the ship together, and being in close contact with each other on a daily basis has finally boiled over. After hearing everything, I ordered Jada to a weeks room restriction, followed by a public apology to the crew, for causing such a disturbance in the observatory, and five spats with a 1" oak paddle. She starred at me as though she wanted to kill me, but said nothing. September 4th, 2155 I posted the time of Jada's punishment on the bulletin at the observatory, so that all crew who weren't on shift would be available to attend. It was not mandatory to attend, but I do believe that 2/3rds of the ship was there. After Jada had made her apology, which came slowly but with good sincerity, I told her that she had done well, and to strip and place her hands on the wall. She looked slightly shocked at me, but then did as she was told, while holding back an angry look. The five swats went quickly, and did turn her curvy butt a bright shade of pink. Afterwords, I told her she could redress, and that she would remain in her quarters if not working her shift for the rest of the week. UR-Quan September 5th, 2155 –September 8th, 2155 The last three days have been boring, and more importantly, I have noticed that the entire crew is suffering from a bit of exhaustion. I think that longer then three months away from the station and the crew becomes exhausted at the change of pace between life on the station, and life on the ship. The bad news is, we are at least 3 months from home. September 9th, 2155 Arrived at the rainbow world and mined it without loss or incident. Spoke to Simon today and told him that I was going to need his help. After we finished eating, I took him to my quarters and explained about Marla, her fantasy, and how she had dreamed for years of having two guys at once. Simon said he was willing and comfortable to do it, and then we planned on doing it the next day. September 10th, 2155 We set course for Gamma Librae. When we are close I am going to use the hyperwave caster. Hopefully we will meet with the Supox and the Melnorme. As I'm writing this, Marla is lying on the bed, Simon has just left. It took her a while to realize what was happening, but Simon did enjoy having her mouth, while I rode her from behind. I could tell that she came hard, multiple times. When Simon and I had both finished, he left, and I came over to type this. She is still in the cuffs, and I'm about to ask her if she liked it, though I think I know the answer. September 12th, 2155 We have encountered the Supox. Within one hour of encountering them, they had bestowed me with the broken ultron. I will have Commander Hayes science team look at when we return to base. Marla said that she loved that I made her fantasy come true, and physically, she loved every minute of it. September 13th, 2155 We have encountered the Melnorme. After filling the fuel tanks to maximum capacity, I decided to buy information from Trade Master Greenish. Here is what I have learned: The Shofixiti are not extinct. You can find a male at Delta Gorno, and there are stores of females at Alpha Cerenkov I, guarded by the Vux Admiral, Zex. Zex is undefeated in combat, even against the Ur-quan. A further warning is that the males are old, and fly barely functional ships. The Ur-Quan at presently at war with a race called the Kohr-ah. They are figting in a huge war near the Crateris star system. It would appear that the Kohr-Ah are winning. The Umgah reside in the Orinis constellation. And they have been using a hyperwave caster to impersonate the Ilwrath gods, Dogar and Kazon. There is a dimensional weakness between the Chandreskar and Columbae star system. It opens for a shirt time starting on the 17th of each month. Ur-Quan dreadnoughts are programmed to exploded if they crash. This prevents reverse engineering. However, a largely intact body of a dreadnoght remains on the surface of a blue planet at Alpha Pavonis. The Slylandro Probes are from a race whose home planet is in the Beta Corvi system. Consult them in order to fix the problem of the probes attacking you. We can find another group of traders called the Druuge in the Persei star system. This one astounds me, the Melnorme found out that we have the Ultron. We received it yesterday – these guys are amazing. Anyway, they say the device can be fixed with three parts – a Rosy sphere, that is at the Druuge trade center, an Aqua Helix that can be found in Thraddash (?) space, and a clear spindle, which is currently in the possession of the Pkunk. When I tried to ask Trade Master Greenish who the Thraddash and Pkunk were, he signaled something, and stated that he could not state that information for me at this time. I received all of this information directly in my ready room, and have not had time to consult Captain Pike, Fwiffo, Simon, or any other officers on board about it. I have scheduled a mass briefing for the 17th to outline the rest of our mission, although I'm not sure if I should share all of the information at once. This much information could suffice for many missions, but I will need to let them know why we are stopping at certain points now. I'm also thinking of investigating the portal he mentioned, although the thought of dimensional travel scares the bejeesus out of me. September 14th, 2155 I have ordered our next stop at Epsilon Lipi. The crew is nervous about heading through Ur-Quan space, but I have told them that it will be very worth it. They seem to have a good level of confidence with me, and though on edge, morale seems high. I spoke with Simon about the information that I gained from the Melnorme, and informed him that I planned on briefing the crew about the wrecked dreadnought in Alpha Pavonis, the Slylandro probes coming from Beta Corvi, and the dimensional wormhole. I told him that I added these stops to our trip, and he said that after that, we must go and chance out crew. I agreed. September 15-17th, 2155 The briefing today was long, and went well, and I was able to do it for the entire crew. I explained that we had gained information from the Melnorme, what it was, and what we would be doing. I also explained that when we got back to the starbase, I would be changing out crew, so anyone that wanted to remain aboard needed to decide and inform me before then. Yesterday, the lead Xenolinguist aboard the ship, Joanie, spoke with me for an hour after dinner, and offered me a massage. She is the most muscular and powerful woman that I have ever encountered, and I believe that she works out more then anyone on the ship. She has amazing strength, flexibility, and agility. The massage was great, and though we did not have sex, I was greatly aroused. September 18th, 2155-September 24th, 2155 The crew has grown very nervous. We have flown within visual range of many ships destroyed in this area of space, and many active ships have changed course to intercept us. Luckily the Intrepid is still the fastest thing out here. September 25th, 2155 We have found and mined the Rainbow world at Epsilon Lipi. I have set a course for Epsilon Draconis. The crew is excited at the thought of making it out of Ur-Quan space. Marla came to me tonight and said that she is ready for some time at the base. After almost a year away, she just needs a break. She said that she would like to serve on the ship in the future, but that she needs time to recuperate. I asked if she needed it because of me, or because of the ship. Now I need time to recuperate. September 26th, 2155 Captain Pike came over today, and spoke to me. He was again supportive, and then he made a suggestion that made sense to me, even though I hadn't thought of it before. Unless we are doing battle, the Enterprise needs only one person (him) to function. The seventeen others aboard could rotate into the Intrepid, making the work load lighter again. I agreed and made the adjustment. September 27th, 2155 – October 1st, 2155 Today I had a commanders call, recognizing the influxed crew from the Enterprise, and the people aboard the Intrepid who have done such fine work. It did seem to boost morale quite a bit. Afterward, Jada Stone came up to me and spoke. She explained that while she had been angry at me for a while, her reasoning was because even though she reacted physically, it wasn't as though she was unprovoked. She told me how Wood constantly berates her, and makes her feel stupid and less capable; or even insults her at times. I told her that I would separate her and Wood so that they wouldn't work the same shift, and shouldn't have to see each other. She thanked me. October 2nd, 2155- October 6th, 2155 The trek across hyperspace this week has been exhausting. Simon says that many of us are depleting mineral levels because we aren't getting the amount of sunlight that we are used to getting, and though our bodies can function for a while without it, the trip has just been too long. Being out of Ur-Quan space has put the crew at ease a bit. That, combined with the infusion of crew from the Enterprise lightening the load, and we are almost able to relax. October 7th, 2155 Today we arrived at Epsilon Draconis, and mined the Rainbow world here. We had our first mining deaths since the planet landers upgrades were completed. Lt. Richer informed me that the earthquake that happened on the surface was the most severe that she had ever felt. The two that died were Master Sergeant Laura Fogleman, and A1C Christina Fischer. Christina Fischer had been one of the girls that spent a night with me when I had sex for a week. She was large breasted, blond, with a great smile. She told me that she felt like she was actually making a difference, and if the slave shield actually came down, she was going to grow wine in France. I've informed Simon that even though every crew member has had four down days, I haven't. I will be taking them over the next four. He said that he would take care of everything. October 8th, 2155-October 12th, 2155 I've had only two visitors, Marla and Jackie. I've spent the rest of the time reading, watching television, having my meals in my room, and resting. I had no idea I was so exhausted. The rest has done me well, and I believe that I will feel much better taking command again tomorrow morning. October 13th, 2155 After taking my shower, and working my shift at the helm, I feel wonderful. I had dinner with a table of girls, some of them new from the Enterprise. Captain Pike happened to be having his meal there, and so he joined us. He introduced me to his main mechanic, a very attractive brunette by the name of Shannon Young. He had a sly smile, and then he told me that she was the best mechanic he had ever seen, including my dad. Captain Pike is not open with his praise, so I took the remark to mean that he wanted me to keep my eye on here. After the meal, I read her file. She had transferred up to the space station the last time the Ur-quan had made the opportunity available. She was certified to work on just about every system – electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, environmental systems, planet landers, navigation systems. The only other note from Commander Hayes in the file was "Young is remarkable at her job, but doesn't care about the particulars of rank, structure, or any other factors that effect her career. She is the best at her job, but without the proper respect for authority, I do not think she will ever rise above the rank of Master Sergeant." October 14th, 2155-October 21st, 2155 It has been a boring week, just moving as fast as we can to Beta Corvi so that we might find the owners of the Slylandro Probes. Sadly, the makers of the show Angel only made 110 shows. I have watched them all now, and I think it is truly wonderful entertainment. I am however, hoping to find something else that matches the wonderful stories told on this show. Shannon Young, the mechanic from the Enterprise, and I have had three meals together. Unlike the other girls aboard the ship, who flirt with me, and are generally nice to meet, Shannon seems to have more fun picking on me. It has put me very at ease with her, but I can totally see where Commander Hayes was coming from with his report. October 22nd, 2155 We have entered the Beta Corvi system. Fwiffo has told me that I need to go to the gas giant. I told him that there aren't any life signs on gas giants and he told me that I needed to go to it. I did, and we encountered the Slylandro. Joanie's Xenolinguistic program that she had worked on performed well, and we were able to communicate with the Slylandro. The Slylandro evolved on a gas giant, and are incapable of exploring space because if they leave the environment of their home planet, they die. After we discussed and figured out the problem with the probes, we then talked about the Slylandro themselves. They are extremely long lived. They were able to tell us some things from history, and they have unique biology. When we were done, I plotted course for Alpha Pavonis. October 23rd, 2155 On a lucky chance, we encountered a probe. Now that we have the destruct sequence, our ship was not attacked. It felt wonderful. October 24th, 2155- October 31st, 2155 Though nothing of interest has happened in relation to the ship or mission, I have again, been in heat. This week, I've actually had sex at least once a day, and three times, I had sex with different girls after different meals. None of this has been anything other then fun, relaxing sex. I asked Simon how he was doing on actually getting every crewmember to sleep with him, and he replied, "Well, I got the original 70, and I'm working on the newbies from the Enterprise, and if this trip gets any longer, I'm sneaking on to the Eluder, to finish killing the monotony.." I then asked if he was keeping score, and with a puzzled look he replied, "oh, you mean to whose best. Well, that depends on what you want." And with that, he left. I seriously hope he doesn't try to have sex with Fwiffo before we have time to change out the crew. November 1st, 2155 We are quickly approaching Alpha Pavonis, and I am hoping that the Melnorme information was correct again. If so, then we might gain some insight on how to gain an advantage in battle. Last night a read a bulleting in the observatory for an open party at Sgt. Garey's quarters. I figured that I would make an appearance. When I arrived, there were five girls, in the room, all naked, using devices I hadn't yet seen on each other. I told Sgt. Garey that she would have to educate me on the tools that help them pleasure one another. Though I had used handcuffs and blinfolds with Marla, I hadn't used anything like what these girls had. November 2nd, 2155-November 3rd, 2155 We have found the crash site at Alpha Pavonis. I am sending a mixed team down with Lt. Richer, including Shannon Young, hoping that there is something in the wreckage of value. ** The team salvaged a warp pod from the crash, and we lost one member of the crew. Staff Sergeant Lyons, the woman with whom I shared my first multiple person sexual experience. I went to Master Sergeant Huckabee's quarters personally, and spoke to her, holding her for a while, as she cried. I feel nothing worse then when I lose a crew member. ** We have set course for Beta Pegasi, where there should be a rainbow world. After that we will try to find the dimensional portal from the Melnorme information. November 4th, 2155 – November 7th, 2155 Simon and I have agreed that from now on, no missions will last longer then three months. There is no way to keep a crew happy that long in this type of isolation. We have also arrived at Beta Pegasi. After several hours there, and one quick mining trip to the rainbow world here, we charted a course to Beta Chandreskar. November 8th, 2155- November 12th, 2155 We have decided to stop just short of the chandreskar star system, and hail the Melnorme. From there, we will look for the portal, and try to get the ship ready for the dimensional shift. The crew is completely restless. We have gone through our entertainment inventory, they have played music, had sex, read books, and now they just want to be back to the larger society. I hope I can make it happen soon. November 13th,2155 We encountered another Slylandro Probe. Now that we can destroy them with the destruct sequence, it is not a concern. November 14th, 2155 We met with the Melnorme, and after selling the rainbow world locations, we have a balance of 2315 credits with them. I refilled the ship with fuel, and thanked Trade Master Greenish, but didn't purchase further information at the time. November 15th-17th, 2155 We are waiting for the portal to appear, and our roaming between the Chandreskar and Columbae systems. The Portal has appeared, and we are moving towards it as we speak. ** The dimension that we have entered doesn't require us to use fuel to move. It is odd, more odd the first feeling of anti-gravity. November 18th, 2155 –November 25th, 2155 We have found the Arilou homeworld! They call this dimensional movement, Quasi-space. They told us that the Umgah have a talking pet that the Arilou gave to them in order that the Umgah may save it. The Umgah have very excellent biological data and skill. The Arilou also informed us that the Syreen are imprisoned at the Betelgeuse star system. They then informed us that the Androsynth do not exist in the stars around Vulpeculae, only Orz. I will have to make contact with the Orz. Then best of all, the Arilou used the warp pod we obtained at Alpha Pavonis and made a portal spawner, so that we could reach the quasi-space fatigue zone any time we wished. Finally, he showed me which portal from the quasi space map would be the one closest to our home star. November 26th, 2155 I informed the crew that we were going back to the starbase, and that we would then make sure to never have a mission longer then three months. November 27th, 2155- November 30th, 2155 I decided that as we complete this journey through hyperspace, that I would conduct one on one crew interviews, thanking each person for their service, and asking them about their collective feelings. Almost every crewmember felt good about what they had done, and stated that it felt good to be doing something that might end the slave shield situation, and the Ur-quan rule. I noted as the girls passed through, that there were several attractive females that I had not had sex with. Lt. Richer made the request of having a 3 month period at the base so that she could complete everything for her Lt. commander training, and then she would like to serve aboard the ship again. She is a natural leader, a beautiful woman, and I'm proud to serve with her. Shannon Young also made two requests. The first was the same as Richer's request, that she be allowed to come back as soon as the next three month mission was over. 2nd, was a little unconventional, but she asked for a letter of recommendation so that she might get her promotion to Technical Sergeant. I told her that I thought her service record would allow for that, and she showed me that in the guidelines, a captains recommendation did make a difference. I told her that I would write the letter, and that she would serve with me again. I also decided a few days ago to go without sex until we have new crew aboard. Just to help build more desire. Decmeber 1st, 2155 We are almost back to real space. Quasi-Space was not meant for long time exposure. At least in hyperspace, you can see other stars, here, there is nothing. I spoke with Captain Pike, Fwiffo, and Simon, and they are all staying with me when we rotate crew. December 2nd, 2155 We have made it out of quasi space, and it looks like it will take four days to get back to the base. The crew is happier then I have seen them in weeks. December 3rd- 7th, 2155 We have traveled back to the star base, where everyone is relieved to see our home system again. ** Commander Hayes was worried that we had met the Ur-quan and been killed. I tried to catch him up to speed on everything that was accomplished on our end, and then he had updates for us. Apparently, the Arilou gave us three of there skiff vessels. Because these ships are not great at combat, I have decided to recycle two and use the RU's to upgrade the Intrepid. I then told Commander Hayes to have his science team evaluate the things I had aquired on the trip. They thought the Ultron was junk, and I explained that the Melnorme said we could fix it. They marveled at the portal spawner, and also told me that it would take 10 units of fuel each time I used it. That is OK, because as long as I have 16 units of fuel, I can be anywhere on our starmap and get home. They also liked the hyperwave caster. I told Fwiffo, Pike, and Simon to stay on the base for a few days. The only assignment I gave them was selecting new crew. I told them I had to reconfigure the ship with the resources we had aquired, and then I was going to meet with the Melnorme again, before deciding what our next step should be. All of them seemed greatful that we weren't going anywhere for a few days. UR-Quan December 8th, 2155 I've had the ship reconfigured, and told Commander Hayes I would be taking the ship out for a couple days. I plan on purchasing as much information as I can from Trade Master Greenish, and then if I still have credits, purchasing fuel. That should give us a large amount of credits. I'm leaving my normal standby's and the crew I am taking knows that we are going to sit in hyperspace for a couple of days, do trade with the Melnorme, and then return to the base. December 9th-13th, 2155 We are in hyperspace waiting for Trade Master Greenish. I have decided that our next mission should be to go revive the Shofixiti. The first part of this will be going to Alpha Cerenkov, and meeting with Zex, to see what he wants so that I may require some of his Shofixiti Maidens. December 14th, 2155 We have met with Trade Master Greenish. Here is the information I have gained this round: They informed of us the Zoq-Fot-Pik, something that has taken a backseat on my priority list, but I feel I must address soon. The Ilwrath are attacking the Pkunk in the Giclas star system. Trade Master Greenish believes I can use my Burvixes hypercaster to replicate the technique used by Umgah to impersonate Dogar and Kazon, and stop the Ilwrath from massacring the Pkunk. Trade Master Greenish also believes that the Pkunk will aid us, even if they do not make a formal alliance. The Ur-quan and Kohr-ah are engaged in ritual combat. The winner will decide the fates of the other races. The Ur-quan believe that slave shielding them is human, while the Kohr-ah will kill all other races, if they win. I can locate the Druuge at Zeta Persei I. Trade Master Greenish has warned me that there are hidden costs attached to their items. He informed me about the Burvixes Hypercaster that I have already obtained! The Thraddash are an alien race living in the Draconis system. Zeta Draconis houses a secret relic of theirs. Their homeworld is Delta Draconis. Unfortunately, the Thraddash societal structure worships whomever they deem strongest. For them to not attack us, and to become an ally, we will have to destroy more ships then the Ur-Quan did. The Chenjesu and Mrnmrm are slave shielded together at Procyon. You can communicate with them via a powerful hyperwave caster (which we have.) The two are trying to form a hybrid race, and this race will be powerful enough to match the Ur-quan in combat. The Mycon are using this time to expand. They launch spore pods into planets with ultimately turning them into worlds of very hot and molten gasses, the preferred environment of the Mycon. The Orz now inhabit the area of space previously considered Androsynth space. The Melnorme have no idea what happened to the Androsynth. This concerns me, coming from the guys that new I had the Ultron hours after I had it. He told me that if I were to remove the xenomorphic creatures from the Spathi homeworld, they would join us in an alliance. 12.) In order to get the Syreen to rejoin the alliance, I will have to prove to them that a Mycon spore pod was the cause of their home worlds destruction. 13.) The final piece of information is that the Yehat are divided. Many of the Yehat feel that there queen performed a dishonorable act by agreeing to be combat thralls of the Heirarchy. It was amplified by the shofixiti show of courage, when the shofixiti caused a star to go supernova in order to destroy a large portion of the Ur-quan fleet. I decided to use the remaining credits to but fuel. Though the historical data is intriguing to me, I do not believe that it is more valuable then fuel. After learning of the Pkunk situation, I have decided that even though regaining the Shofixiti should be my next big mission, a very short haul to Delta Krueger may be better. I would like to have all the ships at the base for the new years celebration. Commander Hayes says that is the most festive time of the year at the starbase. December 15th, 2155 I've decided to take a down day, reconfigure the ship, and do a briefing at the station about our next mission, to make peaceful contact with the Pkunk. Simon, Pike, and Fwiffo seem refreshed, and I've told the crew that I would like to be there and back by the new years celebration. It will be great to have a new crew aboard. December 16th, 2155 I informed the crew today, that I would like to commission a 2nd Earthling Cruiser when we return from the Pkunk mission. I told them that Commander Hayes and I would make the determination of who would become Captain, and that after that we would embark on a mission to revive the Shofixiti. December 17th, 2155- December 24th, 2155 We have traveled to Gamma Krueger, and made contact with the Pkunk. They gave us a clear spindle, 4 of their ships, and they have stated that they are willing to aid us in information, should they ever have any. I believe that a clear priority to get the Ilwrath to stop attacking these gentle and peaceful creatures. December 25th, 2155 –December 31st, 2155 We have arrived home at the base, and I am taking the time off so that the entire crew and base can enjoy the new year celebration. I am planning on enjoying it myself, and Marla has agreed to help me bring in the new year. January 1st, 2156 Today was a most joyous occasion, as Commander Hayes and I unveiled the first Eartling Crusier produced at the space station. With the Arilou skiff, the Eluder, the Enterprise, the four Pkunk Furies, and the newest ship, which we have named the Hope, I have a small armada traveling with the Intrepid. The captain of the Hope, is long time Lt. Commander Mike Buck, who survived the Ur-quan war, and is the only person on the base to have any actual battle experience. He seems a good man, and closer to the age of Captain Pike. I did a mass briefing at the base today, explaining that we would be traveling to Alpha Cerenkov, to try and negotiate for Shifixiti Maidens from Admiral Zex. It is my sincere hope that we will not have to engage Zex in battle. My understanding is that he has control of his own fleet, and any military commander who has been able to survive through the Ur-quan wars must be a remarkable military mind. I do not believe that there is any hope in getting the Vux to join us, but I will still try. My top priority is the Shofixiti Maidens, though. After the briefing, I talked to Simon. He said that since it is likely that we will be going into battle, it is imperative that I become very strict and discipline. He updated the computers entertainment logs, and found a way that each member could access shows at their leisure, watching only what they wished to watch. He told me that an old show called Star Trek: The Next Generation would give me some insight. I asked him how much television he had watched, and he grinned and said, "it's great for getting the ladies to bed. Tell them you have access to something not on the guide, and they want to see it." I love Simon's mischievous nature, and I think he would be a great captain, should something happen to me. When I got the new roster of my new 100 person crew, I noticed that the male, female ratio was closer to what it was on the base... about 4 females to each male. The roster had 21 males, counting Simon and I. I made the decision of dividing them into four groups of 24. The four alternates will be divided among the shifts, make sure that one person gets rotated out each shift. I have gone with a two week, 12 hour schedule for the next mission, and plan on drilling often. January 2nd, 2156 After finishing the shift assignments, and lettering them A-D, I noticed that by chance, D squad is entirely female. I have taken Simon's advice, and I am watching the Star Trek: The Next Generation series in my off time. I am eating alone, so as not to become attached. I am afraid of taking this group into battle, and I am afraid that if Zex decides to attack us, we may lose some people before we can escape. January 3rd, 2156- January 8th, 2156 Adjusting to 12 hour shifts is difficult. Having 3 days off in a row is unbearable. I find myself dropping in and getting reports from my officers because I can't just sit and watch television all the time when nothing is going on. I am going to talk to Simon about if there is a way I can learn an instrument on my own. The crew seems to be responding well to the 12 hour schedule as well. Along with that, having the other small ships traveling with us, makes everyone feel more secure. January 9th, 2155 – January 12th, 2155 I've assembled the captains today, and had a private briefing telling them that we should prepare for the worst, and hope for the best, not the other way around. We will arrive in Alpha Cerenkov in the next day, and I hope that I can re-open communication with the Vux. January 13th, 2156 We arrived at Zex's planet, and spoke with him. He knew that we had come for Shofixit Maidens. Admiral Zex was pleasant, to tell the truth. Apparently, Zex's hobby is running a menagerie of animals from the galaxy. After talking to him for some time, he agreed that if we found him a creature he was lacking, he would allow us access to half a dozen Shofixiti maidens. While this may not seem like a lot, because of the six week gestation cycle, we could swell our ranks quickly. We were able to leave without engaging in battle, which both pleased, and relieved the crew. They were surprised when I told them to mine the system while we were here, until the cargo bays were full. January 14th, 2156 We are mining the moons of the second planet at Alpha Cerenkov. I explained to the crew that we still need to gather resources when we can, in order to keep our fleet strength growing. January 15th, 2156 We continue mining the Cernekov system. Fwiffo informed me today, that he would begin using his ship to do the research to find the location of the animal that Admiral Zex wants. He told me that it might be a few days. January 16th, 2156 We have finished mining the Cerenkov system and begun the journey homeward. January 17th-24th, 2156 We are doing deep space travel. The only change to our system of operation onboard is that Simon has implemented a fitness program that crewmembers must attend during their off days. This fills three hours of dead time. I have not had sex yet this year. January 25th, 2156 – January 28th, 2156 This was an odd three days to say the least. We had a small meteorite pass within ten meters of the ship when D shift was flying, an hour before A shift came back on. The speed of the meteorite and its path caused the ship and the ships in the armada to quake. The short and deep radar array do nothing but read moving objects in space, and we had two people manning each of those arrays. They simply didn't think that it would end up being as close as it was or that the meteorite was magnetic. Had the meteorite not been magnetic, the ship certainly wouldn't have moved. Nonetheless, because it could have resulted in countless injuries, I felt that I had to take action. I was awake, preparing to take the bridge, because I'm on A shift. When the ship rolled I was thrown off my feet. When I came to the bridge, and got the report, I told Lt. Commander Howard, The D shift leader, to assemble all of D shift in the observatory at the conclusion of the shift. I told Lt. Richer that I would be dealing with them, and then sent out a general ship communiqué to the ship to let them know that the observatory would be closed for the first couple hours of the morning. When I came into the observatory, I told them to line up, 12 on each side, at attention. I walked down the center and stated that they had just nearly killed 200 people and almost ended the chances of freeing Earth and the allies we have built because they wouldn't change course or read the radars correctly. I told them it was amazingly luckily that no one was hurt, and I was not happy. Then I ordered all of them to strip. It is an amazing feeling to be the only man in a room full of 24 naked females. I had the deep radar and short radar operator come up and take 3 swats each with the paddle. I then had Lt. Commander Howard take 5 for poor judgment. I thought for a few minutes about what else to do and then stated, "You will all remain aboard for the next 60 days. You will go through this inspection at the end of your two week cycle every rotation. You will be well groomed. Your uniforms will be in perfect regulation. You will exceed the workout program Commander Rice has prepared. You will study tactics and techniques of deep space battle, to include spaceship design and battle maneuvers. Your mistake today has caused me to believe that it is MY duty to make you the best ladies." I paused for a moment, then stated, "that is all." All during my shift I wondered if it wasn't just a lot of sexual frustration leaking out. Even if it was, there is no way I can go back on that now. January 29th, 2156 We have arrived back at Sol. Fwiffo took the opportunity to input the information that Zex had given us in order to find that the animal Zex wants should be in the Delta Lycis star system. Using the Quasi-space portal system to get there will save us months, and we should be able to get the beast, return to the station for a quick analysis, and then take it to Zex and get the maidens. I informed Simon of my tiny temper tantrum, and the adjustment he will have to make in regard to D shifts fitness program. I told him to increase their standards by ten percent for the first 30 days, and then by 20 percent for the final 30. They should all be the leanest, finest officers in Star Control by then. January 30th, 2156 We have left the star system, and used the portal spawner in hyperspace. I must say that being able to cut 40 travel days of hyperspace is a huge relief. I do hope the Fwiffo is correct on the location of the beast. The estimation is that we will spend three days in Quasi space, two days finding the beast, and then be able to return to our starbase. If it's correct, this will be a simple one week mission, that without the spawner would have taken two months. Because we do not know the nature of the beast we are hunting, I requested Lt. Richer come with us to pilot the shuttle on this special mission. I told her I would write a recommendation for her, if the mission was successful. January 31st, 2156 We are traveling through Quasi-Space, and the new crew is enjoying the thought of not being able to be attacked, or located. All is well today. February 1st, 2156 We have emerged back into hyperspace near the Lyncis system. We have set course for Delta Lyncis, and should arrive there tomorrow. February 2nd, 2156 We have indeed arrived in the Delta Lyncis system. It is a smaller system, so if the beast is indeed here, we should not have trouble finding it. February 3rd, 2156 We lost one crew person in capturing the beast. We have locked it in the cargo store and we are making sure that the entire crew is aware of it's abilities. It took over 30 shots from the gun on the landers stun gun to subdue the beast before the magnetic restraints could be applied. We are ready to return to base for scientific analysis. The crewmember that was lost was David Newsome. It was his first mission away from the space station. Febraury 4th, 2156-February 10th, 2156 We have left the Delta Lyncis system, entered quasi-space, and are en route back to the space station at Sol. February 11th, 2156 We have arrived back at the space station, and this is the summary analysis of the Vux beast: It is a Xenoteranomorph. According to Jr. science officer Hawkins, it can break nearly any material using it jaw muscles, it triple jointed at most places, giving to an unbelievable range of motion, and apparently has a metabolism that is capable of rendering most viruses dead after a 12 hour incubation. We have taken samples of it for later, but everyone wants the creature gone. There have been two injuries on the station while they were studying it, not serious ones though. February 12th, 2156 I have informed the crew that our next outing is a two part mission, trade the beast for the maidens, and then proceed to Delta Gorno to find the male of the species. As I came on duty this morning, Lt. Commander Howard informed me that D squad was assembled and ready for open ranks inspection. I proceeded to the observatory. I spent 15 minutes looking over their uniforms, and then told them that on by the next inspection on the 26th, I will have their performance data from the fitness program. I expect everyone to be exceeding standards. I dismissed them and returned to the day. February 13th, 2156 I realized today that I still haven't had sex this year, and it is starting to get to me a bit. I had trouble sleeping last night thinking of seeing Lt. Commander Howard undressed. She is the highest ranking woman aboard, technically 3rd in command behind myself and Simon. She is intelligent, motivated, and beautiful, and when I spanked her it wasn't a sexual feeling, but I did think about it last night before I slept. We are traveling through hyperspace to get to Alpha Cerenkov. Fwiffo has said that he is plotting the quasi-space map in our computer, so that we can determine the quickest route to and from spaces, when I prioritize our missions. Fwiffo has become a real asset to my mission. February 14th, 2156 – February 20th, 2156 This week has been uneventful. The crew is in good spirits, and I think that having a sense of order to what we are doing helps. Before I gathered all the information from the Melnorme, mining and gathering resources seemed partially mundane, but also, I secretly believe that many of the crew people doubted I would proceed towards reforming an alliance. I believe that I have alleviated the doubts that the space station crew had about me. A lingering thought that I have had this week is that Zex may not have been ready when we came before, and he wanted to prepare a trap. I truly hope that this is not the case, but I do want the crew to be ready for it. February 21st, 2156 – February 23rd, 2156 As we move closer to Alpha Cernkov, I see no increase in the number of ships moving through the sector, nor do I see increased hyperspace residue. This puts me at a bit of ease. February 24th, 2156 We have arrived at Alpha Cerenkov. We are preparing to meet with Admiral Zex. ** After the transfer, the Beast escaped the containment field set up for it. I would feel much worse, except that Admiral Zex had prepared to halt our quest so that he could add humans to his menagerie as well. With the Vux on the surface being killed, we are sending a team to retrieve the maidens. ** We have lost one person in retrieving the Shofixiti maidens, Ensign Sandrine Taylor. We have set corse for Delta Gorno. February 25th, 2156 We held the memorial for Ensign Taylor today. Apparently she was very popular with the rest of the crew. Many of the crew grieved, and some of them seemed surprised, when I spoke stating that it saddens me greatly every time I lose a member of the crew. It may have surprised the crew more that I was tearing up as I said it. February 26th, 2156 Today was the inspection for D-squad. As I went to speak to them, I reviewed the records. Everyone was in compliance for the fitness program under normal standards. With the 10% push, there was only one person who was lacking, and that was in one category. I came in, inspected all of their uniforms (perfectly cleaned, pressed, ect.), and then mentioned the fitness program. I noted the one person not meeting the new squad standards – a PFC Valerie Sulser. I asked her to step forward. She is 5'8", 160lbs, blond hair, crystal blue eyes. Her chest is easily a DD cup. I told her that she has earned an extra hour of working out until then next two weeks is over in order to ensure that she makes it up to par with the rest of her squad.
