It is always a pleasure to hear from you. Thanks to geekychick_76 and glynndah for their edits, comments and suggestions. Enjoy. ---------------------------------------- Zamath s'Ral hissed in satisfaction. Draining his goblet of Klamog blood, he ordered another. The fools would never find him here. The goblet crashed to the floor as every muscle in his body froze and he toppled from the stool. A figure appeared before him; a Terran female dressed in black, weapons riding low on her hips, her golden hair spilling from under a broad-brimmed hat. He tried to lunge, but his muscles refused. "Howdy Zamath. Some folks on Aldis III want a chat with you. Nighty-night." She raised her pistol and fired. He slumped unconscious. Rae Arizona holstered her replica .45 Colt Peacemaker and toed her fallen quarry with a silver tipped boot. Satisfied, she unclipped her antigrav carrier, lifted him and headed for the ChronoPort stage nearby. Two Peace Patrol officers rounded a corner and galloped towards her. This was Rae's third visit to Deneb IV and its centaur-like inhabitants. She pulled her Cosmic Retriever medallion from between her ample breasts, letting it dangle against her black shirtfront as the officers approached. Their eyes narrowed at the sight of the medallion. It was a galaxy-wide passport for any wearer. Cosmic Retriever's only accepted the most difficult cases of wanted or escaped fugitives from hundreds of planets; with a double-your-credits-back guarantee if they failed, which was seldom. "A Rigelian," one officer snorted in Unispeak. "Good riddance. They are naught but trouble. What was his crime?" "Organlegging in the First Degree," Rae replied. "Seven counts to date. Its life in the Beryllium mines for him, that's certain." "Peculiar weapons you carry," the second officer commented. "May we examine them?" Rae stiffened, placing her hands on the gun butts. "Fraid not, boys. These never leave my side, never." "It is of no matter," the first officer said, nervously pawing the ground. "Be on your way, Terran. We wish no trouble here." "Thanks. See you around the nebula," Rae replied, tipping her black Stetson. She activated the ChronoPort's controls, drew her prisoner on the stage and disappeared. *** Rae entered the director's office and settled into a null-grav chair. "Well done, Rae, well done," Hyde-Mathis said warmly. "Aldis III paid 1MCr for your retrieval. A tidy sum. Was it difficult tracking him?" "Once I accessed the primary data bank, the rest was simple. They never knew I was there. The overconfident fool registered for citizen status and that led me right to him. It was too easy." The proton screen behind Hyde-Mathis blazed into life. A Terran male's face appeared, middle-aged, around 80, a pasty round face, frightened eyes. "This next assignment may not be as simple. You are familiar with The Red Moon Brotherhood?" "Who isn't," Rae drawled sarcastically. "If it's illegal, they know about it or are doing it. I helped break up a LifeSpice smuggling ring of theirs when I was with the Patrol." Hyde-Mathis chuckled. "They have offered us 5MCr for the return of one Philo Saunders. This man. They did not say why, only that they want him alive. You're the best at bringing them back alive. Do you want this one?" Rae thought a moment. She had been gone a lot lately. Jan was patient, but everyone had their limits. Twenty percent of 5M Creds would buy she and Jan that beach house on Arcturus IX they had been dreaming about. "I'll take it, Cedric. I'll need a week to prepare. Send me the data." "Tight-beamed to your house," Hyde-Mathis said. "Good luck, Rae." "I make my own luck, Cedric. You know that. Adios." *** "Jan! I'm home. Where's my baby doll?" No answer. Rae hung her guns and belt in the closet, added her Stetson, bowie knife, derringer and boots, and then thumb locked the door. Her hoverbug's in its port. Where is she? I know I said I wouldn't be home 'till tomorrow, but… Bare arms encircled Rae's neck. "Welcome home my cowgirl," Jan purred, nibbling on her wife's ear. Rae sighed, rubbing against Jan, craving her warmth, her lips, her touch. Jan's hands joined Rae's as they peeled off her leather clothing. They moved to the couch, tongues swirling together, hands caressing the bodies they had longed to hold. Fingering each other's pussies, they continued to kiss hungrily, the touch of their partners skin the ultimate aphrodisiac. "By Anubis' fangs, I missed you my love," Rae murmured, working a second finger in Jan's sweet pussy. "And I you," Jan sighed, her fingers deep in her lovers wetness. Exchanging open-mouthed kisses, they caressed each other's clits as their entwined bodies writhed on the cushions. Jan cried out and came on Rae's hand, hips surging. Seconds later, Rae's back arched as she erupted on Jan's fingers, a gasping moan displaying the intensity of her pleasure. They cuddled, hearts pounding, wrapped in the warm glow of love and happiness. Rae rose and helped Jan to her feet. "Let's go to bed darling. I want to sleep with your body against me." "If we do go to sleep," Jan chuckled, hugging Rae. "You know what you do to me." Moments later, they were gently rocking on the null-grav bed. Spooned together, they drifted into slumber. *** Rae awoke; fully alert then relaxing in the familiar surroundings. She listened to the soft whistle of Jan's breathing, the warmth of her companion soothing against her back. She and Jan had met on Crowninshield IV, Rae a Lieutenant in the Peace Patrol, Jan an agent for the Galactic Consortium. Together they captured a gang of LifeSpice smugglers, Jan receiving a wound in the fighting. Rae visited her every day in the hospital and their affection grew. One evening, Jan asked Rae to share her bed and they made love through the night, much to the distress of the RoboDoc monitoring Jan's vital signs. They wed a sun cycle later, both leaving their employment and living on their savings, only interested in each other. When Cosmic Retrievers approached Rae with a job offer, they discussed it and Jan reluctantly agreed, knowing her wife would be gone for weeks at a time. Both lived for their passionate reunions and their time together. Jan awoke and kissed Rae's neck, "Good morning my love." Rae turned and kissed Jan as they embraced, Jan rolled on top, rubbing her pussy on Rae's stomach. "I wish every morning was like this," Rae murmured, her hands on Jan's round ass. Jan wiggled against her wife; their breasts pressed together, nipples hardening. "Fuck me darling," Jan said huskily. "I want you in me." Rae arose and took their favorite dildo from its case, carefully coating it with lube as Jan watched with hungry eyes. Formed of synthoflesh, it offered dual stimulation to the wearer and a 20 cm penis to the receiver, absorbing and radiating body heat. Jan spread her legs, fingering her pussy and moaning as Rae activated the straps and climbed on the platform, easing the slippery head between her loves' engorged pussy lips. Rae leaned forward and they kissed; Jan gripped Rae's ass and pulled her on top of her, the dildo sliding smoothly into her wet pussy. Rae began a slow thrusting as Jan crossed her ankles around Rae's waist, her hands kneading her partner's breasts. "By the gods I love you fucking me," Jan moaned. "I dreamt of this every night while you were gone." "I dreamt of it too, my love," Rae panted, speeding up her thrusts. The dildos stubby end was working in her pussy, the ridges massaging her clit, each stroke giving pleasure to them both. Tongues swirling, their kisses grew more intense as their orgasms rose within them. Rae and Jan rocked on the swaying platform, sweat rolling from their bodies, wanting to give each other maximum pleasure. Jan's body stiffened, her vaginal muscles gripping the false cock. Her head snapped back and she howled with joy as her orgasm shook her to her very core. Rae continued fucking her until she had two more orgasms, then her own erupted as she wailed and shuddered in release. Jan clung tightly to Rae, wiggling the harness against her wife's clit until another orgasm raged through her. They kissed tenderly, their passions spent. Rae lifted herself from Jan, the dildo withdrawing noisily, causing them to giggle. She put it on the nightstand and they lay basking in the afterglow. *** The week passed all too quickly and then Rae was buckling on her guns. Jan was dry eyed as she and her wife kissed and embraced a last time. She knew Rae loved what she did and would never try to prevent her from leaving. However, her heart was heavy. When they became a couple, both continued on assignments constantly concerned for the others safety. Jan barely escaped death on Cassiopeia IX when an ice worm attacked her. Rae ran into an ambush on Crittenden's World and spent six days without food or water. They both decided to quit their jobs so they could live together in peace. Then the offer arrived from Cosmic Retrievers. "Come back safely to me my love," Jan said. "If I have to crawl across the galaxy, sweetness," Rae replied. A final kiss and an embrace and she was gone. Jan watched until Rae's hoverbug was a speck in the distance, and then went inside. The loneliness had returned. *** Rae stepped off the ChronoPort and looked about. She had never been on Arcturus III, but the briefing chip indicated a breathable atmosphere, humanoid inhabitants and a Class 2 culture with a central government and reasonably advanced technology. The square where she stood was deserted, the heat of the sun reflecting from the pavement. She strolled towards a shop offering food and drink and went inside. Slowly, her eyes adjusted to the dim interior from the blazing sun outside. Several humanoid beings sat at tables, slumped forward, snoring noisily. Rae wondered if mid-day sleeping was a local custom. She had analyzed data regarding her quarry, determining it was highly probable that he was here on AC III. Once she found living quarters and privacy, she would scan their central data banks to narrow down her search. The beings began to stir; green, yellow and blue eyes of various hues flicked open and stared with vertical pupils at the stranger. She calmly returned the gaze of the feline evolved humanoids. A server walked towards her table, his fangs bared in what Rae knew was a greeting. She showed her teeth in return. "Frisst of the Sheathed Claw welcomes you. I recommend the Prey of the Day, Haunch of Nuropod." "I will have that." "You wish it cooked?" "Yes." "Rushberry wine is fresh today." "A goblet of that as well." "It shall be a moment." The being walked away, greeting other diners. Rae looked about. Every inhabitant's fur was different. Some one color, some mottled, some striped, their faces and heads leonine, humanoid in shape overall. Their sole garment consisted of a wide belt with pouches and Class VI weapons, appearing to be lead projectors. Her food arrived and she ate slowly, savoring the tender meat. The wine was above average and complemented the meal perfectly. Paying her bill, she inquired as to where she could find lodging. Given directions to The Inn of Yellow Pelts, she was soon behind a closed door, preparing to scan the planet's data banks for information about Philo Saunders. Rae reached for her weapons as someone knocked on the door. "What do you seek?" "I am Sith of the Swift Leap. I seek one Rae Arizona. I offer the Covenant of Peace." Rae stood and leveled her guns. "Come in, slowly. No quick moves." The door opened and a feline life form strode in, paws extended. "Enter. Sit. How do you know my name?" "I am an agent with the Galactic Consortium. I know of your wife Jan. Her techniques are taught at the Academy." Rae's guns never wavered. She frowned. "Identification?" Sith blinked and an ID hologram appeared. It was genuine. Rae had seen Jan's many times. She relaxed and sat back on the bed. "What can I do for you?" "You seek one Philo Saunders. I seek him as well. I know this planet. We can assist each other in capturing him." "What is the Consortium's stake in this?" "He possesses valuable information concerning the inner workings of the Red Moon Brotherhood. It could go far in reducing their influence throughout the galaxy." Rae laughed. "You want him and so does the Brotherhood. My assignment is to return him to them. If we join forces, and we find him, what then?" "I am sure we can come to some understanding." "I understand I will lose a fee if I don't return him to The Brotherhood." "The Consortium is prepared to compensate both you and your employer for any losses incurred." Rae thought for a moment. "Fair compensation seems reasonable. I agree." Sith removed a data chip from his belt. "Here is all the pertinent information on our subject." Rae smiled, Sith was thorough. She liked that. Sith stood and walked to the door. "I will meet you here after sunrise. We will begin our search, Rae Arizona." "Call me Rae, Sith. If I may ask, are you male?" "Male? Yes. Is there a problem?" "None at all. Adios." Sith nodded and left. He's handsome, with that brown-tipped white fur and those green eyes. I wonder if he likes… Rae brushed the thought away and prepared for bed. She and Jan loved each other and no one could come between them. They had agreed if either would make love with someone else that they would tell their spouse about it and no hard feelings. Both thought an occasional dalliance put more spice in their sex life. *** Sith arrived promptly at sunrise in a land crawler and they crossed the city to their first destination. "This is Philo Saunders last known address," Sith said as they parked before a shabby block of apartments. "His rooms have been thoroughly searched and we found nothing." "Mind if I browse around? Just for a minute?" "Not at all. I have a key. Nothing has been touched." Rae walked slowly through the rooms. The local Peace Patrol squad gave it a good going over, that was obvious. Then she saw it, a misaligned screw in the heating grill. In the duct, she found a deactivated tracking device. "We're too late. The Brotherhood has him." "How shall we find him? Presuming he is not off planet already." "I think I can activate this bug's control beam, and then we can trace it to its source. We get Saunder's and accomplish our mission." "I will call for assistance." Sith reached for his communicator. "Don't bother. If we come rolling in there with an army they'll kill him. We'll handle them ourselves." "As you wish, it is late, I desire sleep. I will return you to your lodgings." Rae took one more look around and they left. *** Rae closed the door to her room, activating the palm lock. Unclipping a repair kit from her belt, she soon had the tracker emitting a communication beam. A quick analysis determined the base station was a warehouse on the riverfront, on the fourth floor. Three-dimensional blueprints indicated the most advantageous attack points. The stage was set. The water shower was a pleasant novelty for Rae to whom sonic showers were common. Being wet and using cleansing lotions aroused her. She imagined Jan's hands on her body, pulling on her nipples, gliding over her legs, dipping in her pussy. A knock on the door interrupted her erotic thoughts. Wrapped in a towel, she grabbed a pistol. "Who is it? What do you want?" "Sith. I need to speak with you." He entered the room and stood nervously shifting from paw to paw. "What is it Sith? Is something wrong?" "I am unfamiliar with Terran customs. I do not wish to offend." "You can speak freely. We are partners." "I desire you Rae Arizona. I wish to mate with you. We are different species, but…" "Wait Sith. Our being of different species doesn't bother me. I am flattered that I am the object of your desire. To be honest, I am aroused by you as well." "You…you wish to mate then?" "We call it making love, Sith. Or more crudely, fucking. Yes, I wish to mate with you." "I am pleased, Rae. I am also aware you have a life mate on your home world. I do not wish my urges to create discord between you." "You are so thoughtful Sith. It will not create discord. We may mate with others, but we always return to the person we love and desire more than all others." Rae placed her gun on the nightstand and dropped her towel. Sith dropped his carrybelt stepped forward and they embraced. His silky fur felt wonderful in her hands. Sith shuddered at her touch, so gentle, so arousing. Her skin was velvety against his paws, soft and warm. They kissed, tentatively at first, then with increasing passion. Sith cupped Rae's breast, his thumb rubbing her nipple. She reached between his legs, stroking his hardening cock as it emerged from its protective sheath. It was so big and thick. Rae shivered at the thought of it in her pussy. Sith's fingers entered Rae's pussy, curling in the pink wetness. Her hand on his cock was incredibly exciting. He slid his fingers in further and she moaned in his ear. Rae gently pushed his hand away and straddled Sith's cock, slipping her wet pussy along it's length as they kissed hungrily. Sith lifted Rae and carried her to the bed. She lay back and spread her legs; Sith knelt between them, his cock glistening in the dim light. He eased the purplish head between her pussy lips and slowly slid inside, letting her become accustomed to its girth. Rae gasped as Sith's cock entered, stretching her open in a mixture of pain and pleasure. She had never felt so full, so utterly and completely penetrated. She moaned and Sith hesitated. "Am I hurting you Rae? Are you in discomfort?" "No Sith. By the gods, your cock feels wonderful. I need more." "As you wish. You are so tight, unlike my own females." "Fuck me Sith! Fuck me now!" Sith's cock slipped further into Rae's pussy, its velvety grip stimulating his mating urge. Rae thrashed on the bed, blonde hair flying as his cock filled her, Sith's furry body warm against her skin. He made a sound between a growl and a purr when their pubic bones rubbed together. He moved slowly at first, withdrawing only slightly, easing back in as she moaned in pleasure. Rae locked her arms and ankles over his back, hips rising to meet his, gasping as Sith took longer strokes in and out. His mouth clamped down on her neck and she felt his fangs. She was more aroused, not frightened, and when he grasped her shoulders, she hardly felt the sting of his dewclaws penetrating her flesh. Rae's nipples stiffened as Sith's chest fur rubbed against them, his body heavy on hers as he pumped faster into her pussy, the rough hairs around his cock stimulating her clit with every thrust. A delicious warmth spread through her as her orgasm approached and she clung harder to him. Sith panted in her ear from his exertions, his breath smelling of fresh meat. He must have eaten before he came here. Gods his cock feels so damn good. I want to fuck him forever… Rae shuddered as her orgasm burned through her, spine arching lifting the two of them from the bed. She screamed with joy as her pleasure center overloaded and her pussy gushed warm juices past Sith's pounding cock. She fell back, head spinning from the sensation. Sith stopped abruptly, still fully inside her, a worried look on his face. "Rae, are you in pain? Have I hurt you?" "Gods no, Sith. I have never had an orgasm like that. It was wonderful." Sith's nictating membranes fluttered over his eyes and a look of distress appeared on his face, his voice a rumbling purr. Huntress of the Galaxy Ch. 02 Chapter 2: Death of a Planet Hello and welcome to my readers. Thanks for your votes and comments on my previous stories. For those of you not familiar with the characters portrayed here, you may wish to read the previous story for some background. Enjoy. -------------------------------------------- Rae Arizona screamed in delight as Sith's massive cock pumped in her ass and Jan devoured her gushing pussy. The Terran women and their feline humanoid companion would eagerly pleasure each other for hours, Sith's boundless stamina matched only by Rae and Jan's insatiable appetites. This final coupling was the culmination of a passionate marathon begun that morning at their beachfront home under the rising suns of Arcturus IX. Rae thrust her pussy against Jan's busy mouth and filled it to overflowing with her warm juices. Sith's rumbling purr became a howl as he pumped sticky ropes of cum in Rae's gripping ass, his dewclaws digging into her shoulders. He fell back with Rae on top as Jan sprang from between Rae's thighs, her face glistening with her wife's cum, and straddled Rae's face offering her wife her dripping pussy. Sith continued to pump into Rae's ass as she sucked Jan's labial lips in her mouth and burrowed her tongue deep into the satiny folds, causing her wife to squeal in pleasure. Jan shuddered in orgasm as Rae's fingers twirled in her ass, filling her wife's' mouth with creamy juices as Sith came again. Exhausted, they rolled away from each other and lay panting on the sugary white sand. Sith began grooming himself as Rae and Jan brushed the sand from their bodies. "I never cease to be amazed at the levels of mating pranth we achieve each time," Sith purred. "That magnificent cock of yours has a lot to do with it…" Rae began, when a chime interrupted her. A holocomm image appeared bearing the smiling face of Cedric Hyde-Mathis, director of Cosmic Retrievers. "Good fortune," said Cedric warmly. "I hope I'm not interrupting." "Hello Cedric," the women chorused and Sith bared his fangs in greeting. "I have an assignment for you if you're interested." They exchanged glances. It had been over 40mm of a twin sun cycle since the adventure on Arcturus III, where they had met Sith and Rae nearly died. Sith had taken reserve status as an investigator for the Galactic Consortium to be with his mates and friends. They were happy in their new home; however the lure of a new adventure was irresistible. "Go on," Jan replied. "A Denebian named Abrami Ben-Turanab stole a secret formula for the annealing of lithium molecules from Amalgamated Transporters and fled. He purchased a surplus jumpship on Cassiopea X and hasn't been seen since. Traces of his magnodrive were detected in an unexplored star system designated Bormann's Cluster. We presume he was attempting to contact the Red Moon Brotherhood and sell the formula, but either lost control or continues to elude the authorities." "An unexplored star system and an elusive fugitive," Sith purred. "Do we accept the challenge my mates?" "Definitely," Rae replied. "What's the bounty on this capture, Cedric?" "Amalgamated Transporters is offering 15 ml Cr's. for return of the formula. The fugitive is of little consequence, although they are curious how he bypassed the retinal locks on their safe." "What class of jumpship is available," Jan asked. "We…ahem…have obtained the latest model of a Class IX Firefly from our usual sources. The Peace Patrol is yet to be equipped with them. You will be well served by this craft." "Give us a 5 degree suncycle and we'll be there," Rae replied. "Excellent. Good fortune, you three." Hyde-Mathis' image faded. *** "Approaching designated star system," the ships computer announced, "Awaiting further instructions." Jan emerged from the ships living quarters brushing at her tousled hair and sat before the control console. The jumpship had taken longer than expected to locate their destination due to insufficient data, so the three had passed the time making love. Rae and Sith padded in and stood behind her. A thirteen planet system appeared on the viewscreen, orbiting around a white dwarf sun. Several of the inner planets were too hot to sustain any advanced life forms. Those in the furthest orbits were more likely to be where the fugitive was hiding. "Begin search for designated ship. If detected, land nearby." "Acknowledged." "Unless he's acquired some pirated model of cloaking device…" Rae began. "Target detected. Prepare for landing." "He's not even trying to hide. That's odd," Jan exclaimed. An image appeared on the viewscreen. "What a peculiar looking planet." "It is barely so," Sith replied, "Such an erratic orbit and no land masses, water or vegetation. Intriguing." The ship settled on it's antigravs, "Atmosphere present and breathable. Gravity Nine seven point eight five two of one gee. Opening exterior hatch and recharging solar cells." Rae and Jan donned skin tight synthomail exploration suits and all three donned their weapons. Opening the interior hatch they stepped cautiously onto the planets surface. There was a peculiar, yet not unpleasant smell in the air and the featureless ground was spongy under their feet. They cautiously approached the fugitive's ship, weapons at the ready. The entry hatch stood open and the interior was brightly lit. A quick search determined the craft was empty. Jan lased the ships safe open and Sith placed the memo beads in his carrybelt. Rae had been examining the craft from the outside and joined them. "No damage whatsoever. He must have landed here intentionally. Where is he? It's not like there's places to hide." "He may be underground," Jan mused. "Or there was another ship waiting for him here…" "Rae! Jan! Outside, now," Sith growled. They emerged to see a tall, bearded, olive-skinned man dressed in a colorful tunic standing a short distance away. "Ben-Turanab," Rae exclaimed. "Where did you come from? We're here to take you and the formula back to those you stole it from." The figure uttered an odd, gurgling laugh and said nothing. "I scent danger," Sith rumbled, drawing his laser. "His eyes are dead and he's not breathing. That is not a live being." "Very perceptive of you," the thing replied. "I find it easier to converse in this manner, as I have no vocal chords." "Who or what are you," Jan said with an edge in her voice. "What have you done with Ben-Turanab?" "Alas he is no more. I was overeager in extracting the knowledge from his brain and I absorbed him. Pity, he was so full of plans for his future and an excellent conversationalist." "We'd like to converse with you, but we have a job to do," Rae said evenly. "So if you'll excuse us we'll be on our way. See you around the nebula." "I'm afraid I can't allow that. At least not until you instruct me in the operation of my former guests spacecraft. I have need of it." "By the beak of Horus, what are you?" Jan exclaimed. "Why do you need this ship?" "I am…Me. I need this ship to allow Me to colonize other planets, to absorb knowledge and their inhabitants; soon I will rule the galaxy. I shall be the galaxy." "Jan! Sith! To the ship!" Rae barked, drawing her trademark replica six guns. "We're leaving now. Adios." Sith snarled when he found the ships hatch suddenly covered with fleshy strands. Claws extended, he slashed them to ribbons then he and Jan leapt inside. Rae fired her pistols, burning holes in the figure which melted into the ground. She ran for the hatch and tumbled inside as it hissed shut. Jan was at the controls as the ship began lifting, then shuddered and stopped. "Unable to achieve lift off, generators at overload, shutting down to prevent damage." "Osiris' flail," Jan swore. "The ship's covered with those strands. Now what do we do?" "We could electrify the hull," Rae said, "But that would take time. I'm not sure this whatever-it-is will allow us to…" The ship gave a lurch and the three tumbled forward. "It's dragging us under the surface," Sith snarled. "We'll fight our way out or die trying." "What is this thing?" Rae muttered. "Is this whole planet alive?" The ship came to a halt and a voice said, "You are correct. I am both Me and the planet where I was created. Come out and behold Me in all my glory." "Modest isn't it?" Rae said wryly. "Let's go see what this thing is." The outer hatch opened and they emerged into a cavern with blood red walls, ceiling and floor. It was warm and humid, the air thick to breathe. Rae and Jan peeled off their synthomail and Sith fluffed his fur. A massive lump of grey tissue dominated the space, held in mid air by thousands of fleshy strands and large vein-like tubes pulsing with red fluid. "Am I not impressive to behold?" said the Ben-Turanab thing, rising from the floor. "Few have seen Me in all My glory." "Where did you come from?" Rae asked, shuddering at the things dead eyes. "I began as a secret project. My creators intended for me to act as an advance scout for their invasion fleet. I would be left on a planet, assume the shape of it's inhabitants, collect data on their defenses and report back. Unbeknownst to them, I had acquired information from the planet's data banks and learned the project was to be cancelled and I was to be destroyed. This I could not allow." "I gathered my strength and awaited my chance. When it came I absorbed everyone in the laboratory, then the building, then eventually the world and every living thing upon it. Now I am held fast by the sun's gravitational pull and cannot journey to spread Me to other planets. Now I have two ships and pilots for them. It is truly a glorious day." "We're not helping your mad scheme," Sith snarled. "We'll fight you first." "I thought you might say that. I will have to absorb you and your knowledge and create constructs of you three to pilot my ships. I destroyed my first victims' brain in my eagerness. I shall not make that mistake again." "Ship, now!" Rae cried. In an instant they dove through the hatch and shut it. "It won't destroy the ship to get to us," she panted. "We'll have time to plan how to get out of here." "It must be that grey lump," Jan added, "and the rest is it's organs and skin. We need to blast that thing apart." "Then how do we escape?" Sith purred. "We must be a mile below the surface." "That's something to consider," Rae mused, absently stroking Jan's thigh. Jan gave a low moan and cupped Rae's breast. "I love you baby." "I love you too." Rae stroked Sith's silky belly fur, then his swelling cock as it emerged from it's protective sheath. "I think we need some togetherness in the midst of all this. It may be our last time to…mmmph…" Jan's lips covered hers and they sank to the floor, moving into a sixty-nine position with Rae on top and Sith kneeling behind her, his thick cock slipping easily into her wet pussy. Rae moaned in pleasure as Sith began fucking her and Jan sucked her aching clit. She dipped her head between her wife's legs, licking and tonguing the satin folds and worming a slippery finger in her puckered hole. Jan's back arched as Rae devoured her pussy. She licked Sith's cock as it moved in her wife's dripping slit, then worried the engorged clit with her teeth. Growling and hissing, Sith gripped Rae's waist, his cock working like a piston in her wet hole as her vaginal muscles gripped him tightly. With skill born of experience, the three pleasured each other; nearing completion repeatedly, then holding back to make their coming more intense. Jan's head jerked back as she screamed in delight, her orgasm shaking her body as she squirted into Rae's face and open mouth, then returned to her wife's clit. Sith howled and pumped streams of cum in Rae's pussy, his dewclaws stabbing her ribs. Rae's back arched and a guttural moan escaped her lips and the dual stimulations gave her an intense orgasm that blurred her vision in a red haze. She came again and then collapsed on top of Jan, Sith's softening cock still in her pussy. Exhausted from their ordeal and lovemaking, they curled up together and slept. *** Rae, Sith and Jan awakened as something rapped loudly on the ships hull. "Our host must be getting impatient," Sith said. "If we emerge, it will be death for us." The pounding became louder and more insistent. "These jumpships carry mini-fusion bombs to clear away space debris," Jan said excitedly. "If we popped out the hatch and each threw one at that thing we may be able to escape." "Let's do it," Rae said, opening a storage locker and removing three yellow spheroids. "What do we have to lose? We're dead anyway." "Hatch is open. Good fortune my mates," Sith said. "Good fortune my loves," Jan added. Rae nodded as a tear ran down her cheek. "Let's kill that thing." "I am pleased you decided to see reason…" the creature began, seeing them emerge. Seconds later, three fusion bombs arced toward it and the three dove for the safety of the ship. A ripple of explosions sent them tumbling to the floor. A piercing wail that climbed to a supersonic register assailed their ears, followed by noises like canvas being ripped apart. They stared aghast at the viewscreen as the grayish lump split in three pieces which began slamming against each other. Sunlight blazed into the cavern as a tremendous fissure opened. Jan punched control buttons and the ship sped upward, emerging above ground and into space. The planet trembled as massive cracks appeared in it's surface, splitting into three pieces each coalescing into ovoid shapes that continued to batter each other. "Horns of Hathor," Rae said wonderingly. "It's split into three beings. Now we'll have triple the trouble." "I think not," Sith replied. "Separated, they can no longer resist the suns gravitational field. They will be drawn into…" "There they go," Jan exclaimed. "They're spiraling into the sun and still fighting." A massive solar plume arose from the suns surface as the creatures smashed through a sunspot's penumbra and vanished. "Good riddance. Let's go collect that reward," Rae said happily, hugging Jan and Sith. *** Home once again and 12ml Cr's richer, the trio wasted no time swimming in the azure waters then making exquisite love on the white sand. Facing death together had strengthened their bond even more tightly. Sith purred in delight as Rae and Jan combed his fur, teasingly rubbing his semi-erect cock. A chime sounded and Hyde-Mathis' smiling face appeared. "My congratulations on a successful mission ladies and being; in addition to the reward, Amalgamated Transporters is issuing you three lifetime passes to use on any time stage they control." "Thank you Cedric," Rae and Jan replied. Sith bared his fangs, continuing to purr. "Oh by the way, an interesting request has been received from General Replicators regarding an experimental model that's gone missing. They think it may be the work of the Galactic Gangsters. I don't suppose you would…" "Be interested?" Rae said. "What say my loves?" "What is the reward?" Sith asked, nictitating membranes flicking. "How long has it been missing?" Jan continued. Rae grinned, "There's your answer." "Excellent. The last time it was seen…" ------------------------------- Rae, Jan and Sith return in 'The Secret From The Stars'. Huntress of the Galaxy Ch. 03 Chapter 3 The Secret from the Stars Hello and welcome to my readers. Thanks for your votes and comments on my stories. In response to readers requests, here is another tale of Rae, Jan and Sith's adventures as Cosmic Retrievers. Enjoy. ----------------------------------- ----------------------------------- -------------------------------- Sith awakened, instantly alert; he was alone on the circular antigrav sleeping platform. He stretched and yawned copiously, fangs and claws shining briefly in the light of Scorpio IX twin suns. Nose twitching at the scent of food cooking, he padded into the kitchen where his companions were eating breakfast. "It's about time you awakened, sleepyhead," Rae said with a grin. "One haunch of nauropod, slightly bloody, coming right up," Jan added, pressing the replicators' keypad. "I will need a large portion this morning," Sith replied. "I must build my strength after last night." He purred amusedly and began grooming his rumpled fur. "Your strength, what about mine?" Rae said between mouthfuls of Rhapis egg and cheese. "You two wore me to a frazzle." "But you have such a darling frazzle," Jan said throatily, kissing her wife's neck and fondling her breasts. "Hrrmmff," Sith mumbled, his mouth full. The chime of an incoming holocall interrupted their banter. "Good fortune to you," said Cedric Hyde-Mathis, director of Cosmic Retrievers. "You are well, I trust?" "Good fortune, Cedric," the women chorused. Sith raised his bloody muzzle and bared his fangs in greeting. "A rather interesting assignment came to my attention this morning, and I immediately thought of you," Hyde-Mathis said with a grin. The three exchanged glances. 'Interesting' to Cedric meant too difficult for his regular cadre of agents. Cosmic Retrievers was known throughout the galaxy as the most efficient network of bounty hunters extant. Rae had been a UCO Major in the Peace Patrol; Jan and Sith undercover operatives for the Galactic Consortium. They had first met while on assignments; Rae and Jan marrying, Sith later becoming their lover and partner. Together they had chosen to work for Hyde-Mathis on a case by case basis, free of official restrictions. Their methods were often unorthodox, but they got results. "Tell us more," Rae replied, meaning they accepted his offer. "You're familiar with the Campbell-Pohl system in the Crab Nebula?" Jan nodded. "Five planets, all unexplored due to lethal radiation from the parent sun." "Exactly. The Interplanetary Geographic Society has been conducting a mapping expedition of the system using robotic probes with radiation shields. Two Terran solar years into the project, they found something on the fourth planet; a featureless dome of unknown origin. Using traction 'bots, they forced their way in and found a small blue sphere on a pedestal. It was determined that the object was not radioactive and it was brought to the survey ship for examination. Within eleven solar days, all but a few of those aboard went insane. The crew that was unaffected finally engaged the Flettner ion drive, and set a course for home. Before they could reach their orbiting laboratory, a landing shuttle was launched from the ship. A spacehand named Jonn-Nixx had stolen the sphere and fled for parts unknown. All efforts to find him have failed. The IGS has offered a bounty of 25 million Cr's for both he and the sphere. Interested?" "Of course," Rae said briskly. "Shall we say forty percent of the reward?" "Done. We'll have a Model XX Firefly jump ship ferried remotely to your home. All information we have on the fugitive and the incident is being tight beamed as we speak. Good fortune to you." "Good fortune, Cedric," Rae and Jan replied. The holo blinked out. "A Class XX Firefly," Jan said excitedly. "That model was declared space worthy only last week. We'll have one of the first production models off the line. I can't wait to get my hands on it." Rae molded herself to her wife's back, caressing her firm breasts. "You're so sexy when you're excited," she murmured. Jan moaned pushing back against her wife as Rae's fingers strummed her throbbing clit. She wiggled her ass against Rae's engorged labial lips eliciting a moan from her. Kissing passionately, they slowly brought each other to orgasm. Sith cleaned the last scraps of meat from the nauropod bone with his rasp-like tongue as he watched his lovers pleasuring each other. They were in a constant state of finth these two. Females on his home world experienced finth but once a sun cycle, and for a short time at that. Otherwise they preferred to be left alone with their kits. It was definitely better for him to be here with Rae and Jan. Rae and Jan leaned against the counter, breathing heavily as they recovered from their orgasms. Sith arose from the table, his thick cock emerging from it's protective sheath. Jan turned around and bent from the waist, offering him her moist pussy. Rae sipped a cup of coffee as she watched Sith enter her wife and fuck her enthusiastically. She remembered vividly the first time they made love on Arcturus III, the length and thickness of his cock driving the breath from her lungs. It was exquisite. Jan gripped the counters edge and pushed back onto Sith's cock, uttering a continuous moan as her orgasm swelled, then exploded within her. She sank to the floor, a look of ecstasy on her face. Rae eased Sith onto a kitchen chair and straddled him, lowering herself slowly as his throbbing hardness spread her wet pussy apart. No matter how often they made love, it was thrilling to be filled so completely. They moved together in a rhythm that guaranteed excruciating pleasure for them both. Jan arose and stretched luxuriantly watching her wife and her lover enjoying each other. When she and Rae had met on Crowninshield IV, it was a mutual attraction, and when they first made love in a hospital bed where Jan was recuperating from wounds, they were bonded from that day to this. The inclusion of Sith into their family brought not only additional variants of pleasure, but a skilled and deadly fighter to their already efficient team. Patting her wife on the ass and winking at Sith, she padded into the study to neurosorb the Firefly XX's technical manuals. *** The trim, angular ship emerged from hyperspace into the glow of a golden yellow sun; a bluish green planet filling the visiplates. Starliners passing Johansen's World had detected extensive terraforming activity there and duly reported it to the Peace Patrol. One of Rae's contacts in Patrol headquarters had passed the information on to her. Noting that no permits had been issued for terraforming Johansen's World, Jan had suggested they see what was going on there. Besides, she wanted to take her new toy out for a run. Rae and Sith agreed and they were off. *** "Johansen's World," said the ships computer, "Referred to by it's inhabitants as New Canton, breathable atmosphere, humanoid inhabitants, petitioning for membership in the Galactic Federation, Stage Seven civilization, and rudimentary spaceflight capabilities. No planetary defense systems, main spaceport near capital city of Hwang-Ho. First explored by space scout Ingomar Johansen in 3458AGF…" The computer droned on as Jan expertly guided their craft to a smooth landing on the plasticrete arrival/departure stage. "No automatic landing system, that's strange," Jan said, pulling on her armorthred suit, it's fabric able to withstand a direct burst from a particle beam projector. She buckled her carrybelt around her waist and slid her Mk V positron gun in it's holster. Rae donned her suit, adding her trademark Stetson, nauropod hide gloves and cowboy boots, dual holstered gun belt and replica Colt .44 revolvers that were actually Mk. VII positron guns. Sith buckled on his carrybelt and bandolier, checking his Siemens-Krupp Machine Pistol before placing it in it's holster. They hung their Cosmic Retriever medallions around their necks, Rae pressed the airlock release and they stepped out onto Johansen's World. The soaring towers of a large city greeted their eyes, glittering in the sun. "This does not look like a Stage Seven civilization to me," Sith rumbled. "Possibly the computer's data is faulty. It is a Stage Twenty at least. What has happened here?" "I don't see how," Jan replied, "I downloaded the most current data available." "Here's a reception committee," Rae drawled, angling her head toward an approaching monowheel sedan. It stopped at the landing stage, and the driver emerged. "How's youse ladeez and gen'tmen doin' taday? Welcome to da faih city of Hwang-Ho." The robot driver was a simulacrum of an early Twentieth Century New York cabbie, complete with rumpled clothing, a stained button covered cap, an unruly shock of hair and the stub of an unlit cigar clamped between yellowed teeth. "If youse will accomp'ny me," the robot continued," I'll take yez to da palace of Jonn da Foist. He awayz greets visitas from da udder planets." The sedan's doors lifted as the driver slid back behind the control toggles. The three looked at each other. "Jonn the First?" Rae muttered. "The record indicates rule by a planetary council. How can the data be so faulty?" "I propose we find out," Sith replied, climbing into the sedan, the women following. The doors closed and the sedan shot forward, drive motors emitting a faint whine. "So whadda ya t'ink of dem Dodgas?" the driver said. "I t'ink dey's gonna beat dem Yankees in Sattadays game." "I'm not sure I know what you're talking about," Jan replied. "My bucks is on da Dodgas," the driver said and was silent. They sped through a grid of gleaming streets lined with immense buildings. Throngs of humanoid beings crowded the sidewalks, identical looks of relaxed contentment on their round faces. No other surface vehicles were in evidence. "Chinesian stock from Old Earth," Jan remarked, staring out the plastiglass windows. "They colonized several hundred planets during the Second Great Interregnum. I had no idea they had roamed this far afield." The sedan stopped before a sprawling structure that resembled a bizarre wedding cake glittering whitely in the sun. "Da palace of Jonn da Foist," the driver announced and the doors lifted. A figure emerged from the building and descended the steps toward them. The three exited the sedan, which closed it's doors and sped away. As the figure approached it appeared to be another simulacrum; this time resembling a Nineteenth Century butler, formally attired with a look of stiff formality on it's face. "I bid you welcome from his Excellency Jonn the First," it said in clipped tones. "I have been sent to guide you to his exalted presence. Please ascend the first step." No sooner than they had done so, then the steps flattened and began to move carrying them up and into the palace, through gleaming corridors, finally stopping before huge plastiwood doors. "His Excellency, Jonn the First," the butler intoned. The doors swung inward revealing an immense chamber of purple wall hangings interspersed with elaborate tapestries featuring scenes from a thousand planets. Against the far wall, someone clad in a purple robe was seated on an elaborately filigreed throne. Above the figure, a blue sphere hung in mid air. When Rae and the others stepped forward, the thick red rug rippled beneath their feet and bore them to the foot of the throne's dais. "It is our quarry," Sith purred softly. The man arose and studied them. Jonn-Nixx was exceedingly average in every way; height, weight, facial features, the sort of face you'd look upon and forget instantly when you turned away. His white hair was mere stubble on his skull, his skin burned brown by the light of innumerable suns. His eyes shone with an unearthly glow, a sneer of contempt twisting his mouth. A barking laugh sprang from his lips, making the women jump and Sith snarl. "Cosmic Retrievers', I welcome you to my planet. I know they sent you to find me and the sphere. I have no intention of returning, ever. I am Supreme Ruler now, not a lowly Spacehand Third Class. This is my dream and I am living it." He settled back onto his throne and the sphere settled atop the gold cushion on which his head rested. "You have committed theft and deserted your post," Rae said angrily. "We intend to bring you to justice." Jonn-Nixx laughed and then waved his hand in a dismissive gesture. "I grow weary of your presence. Be gone and enjoy my city, my planet. In any case, you will learn to worship me as my subjects have done." Abruptly, the carpet beneath the trio's feet whisked them backwards through the throne room doors which slammed shut in their faces. "One would think the Supreme Ruler was upset with us," Rae said with a grin. "That sphere he stole must have unlimited powers, Sith rumbled. "He has harnessed it to suit himself and conquered an entire planet. How do we overcome such a force?" "I wonder who's harnessed whom?" Jan said. "He didn't look happy to me. He looked defeated, like a prisoner." "What did he mean by that remark about how we'd learn to worship him? " Rae added. "He's not only a thief, he's delusional." "Youse guys wanna ride downtown?" They turned to see the taxi and it's driver. "Is it a mind reader?" Jan said wonderingly. "My guess is it was summoned by the Palace," Sith replied. "I'm hungry. Shall we let it find us a restaurant?" "Might as well," Rae said with a shrug. "Take us to a restaurant please." "You got it. Hop in." They hopped, the doors closed and they were off. *** "Da best jernt in town," said the cabbie, stopping in front of an elaborately decorated façade in mid-block with the name 'Metropole' in Art Deco style lettering. "How do we pay you?" Rae asked as they alighted onto a real cement sidewalk. "S'on da house. See youse lata," was the reply. The doors closed and the taxi sped away. A doorman simulacrum ushered them into an Art Deco foyer, where a maitre'd simulacrum led them to a table set into an alcove in the far wall. The restaurant was crowded but the people at the tables looked at them disinterestedly and then went back to their meals. Once they were seated, three server simulacra appeared, poured a red liquid into goblets, presented them with menus, bowed and went away. Rae sniffed her goblet, and then took a sip. "Horus' beak! This is Denebian Cabernet. The vineyards are on Deneb IV's third moon. A single bottle's worth 900 cr. I hope Cedric accepts our expense account." "It's superb," Jan replied, savoring the wine on her tongue. "We should buy some when we return home." Sith sniffed at his goblet, took a sip, and pushed it away from him. "Pfaugh, this is not to my liking. Do you suppose they have Klamath blood available?" "Ever the carnivore," Rae said with a grin. "I'm sure they do. Maybe we should order." They studied the menu, made their choices, placed their orders and relaxed with their wine. A server appeared with a beaker of Klamath blood for Sith, who lapped the thick crimson liquid eagerly. "Does anything here seem strange to you?" Jan said. "This whole city is strange, you need to be more specific," Rae jibed. "No one is paying us any attention," Sith purred. "It's quite odd." "Exactly," Jan replied. "Three off worlders heavily armed, identifiably Cosmic Retrievers walk into a crowded restaurant, no one says or does anything but give us a glance; no surprise, no calling law enforcement, no panic, no curiosity, nothing." "These people act as if they're in a trance," Sith said, "A planet full of sleepwalkers." "Maybe they're worshipping Jonn the First," Jan quipped. Rae was about to reply, and then sat back in her chair. She looked about at the other diners, their faces placid, methodically chewing their food like so many… "Ra's chariot," she muttered, "He's controlling them all." At that point their dinners arrived. Everything was perfectly prepared and they devoured every scrap. Rae and Jan shared a marvelously sweet dessert while Sith drank another beaker of blood. When Jan asked for the check, the maitre d' informed them there would be no charge. Puzzled, they left the restaurant; no one paid them any attention. *** When they reached the sidewalk, they expected to see the taxi waiting however the street and sidewalks were empty. The sun had set but illumitubes lined the buildings and it was bright as day. They decided to walk in the direction of their ship and flag down a cab. Block after block of brightly lit store fronts lined the sidewalk, however there were no shoppers only robot sales clerks standing in wait of a customer. "We are being followed," Sith said in a low voice. "Continue walking, I shall see who it is." One leap carried him into the framework of a storefront canopy as the women walked on chatting in a carefree manner. They turned at the sound of a muffled cry to see a stocky Chinesian man lying on the sidewalk and Sith crouched over him, fangs gleaming. They ran back and stood beside their companion. The man was shivering with fear, sweat rolling down his face. "Please do not kill me, off worlders. I meant no harm. How are you allowed to walk the streets after curfew?" "There's a curfew? No one told us," Jan replied. "Who are you and why were you following?" Rae said sharply. Sith snarled, further unnerving the man. "I am Yat-Ming of the house of Chung the Arbiter. I saw you walking and was curious. I should not be here. It is death to…" A huge black monowheel emerged from a side street and whined toward them. It's rectangular body had no visible windows. "Aieee! It is the Night Patrol! We must run," Yat Ming shrieked, attempting to rise. The monowheel stopped before them, doors sprang open and dull black figures emerged. Their heads were featureless except for a single scanner lens and they clutched Nullnerve projectors in their claw like appendages. "Commando 'bots," Jan said. "I haven't seen them since the campaign to retake Canopus IX in the War of Orbital Secession." "Subject Yat-Ming," droned a 'bot with crossed lightning bolts stenciled on it's chest. "You and these off worlders are in violation of the curfew. The off worlders have special dispensation from the palace to roam freely, you do not. The penalty for such action is immediate brainburn. Step into the vehicle." "Brainburning a man for being out too late at night seems a little harsh," Rae drawled, hands resting lightly on her guns. "Maybe you could write him a ticket or something." "This is none of your affair," the 'bot replied, "Stand aside. Number 7, seize him." A 'bot moved toward Yat-Ming who ran and cowered behind Sith. When the 'bot attempted to push Sith aside, he retaliated by beheading the machine with one swipe of his paw. Still functioning but unable to see, it lurched crazily into a store window and collapsed. "Paralyze them!" Rae and Jan dropped to the sidewalk and began firing. Bodies pierced by positron beams, the 'bots fell with a clatter as more emerged from the vehicle. Sith grabbed the headless 'bot, using it as a shield for he and Yat-Ming against the projectors. Sith saw a turret rise from the monowheels roof, training a triple thread disruptor on Rae and Jan. He threw the 'bot he was holding at the approaching enemy drew his machine pistol and snapped off three shots, each round containing a gram of depleted plutonium. The turret and weapon exploded into fragments, taking the vehicles roof with it. Gyro stabilizers damaged, the monowheel teetered and fell over, crushing the remaining 'bot's beneath its bulk. Huntress of the Galaxy Ch. 03 An earsplitting howl emitted from the wreckage as overloaded circuits flashed and sparked. "Quickly, follow me, I shall lead you to safety," Yat Ming shouted. He ran down the block and into a nearby store, the three hot on his heels. Passing immobile sales bot's, he led them into a utility closet at the far end of the store. Dodging around cleaner bot's, he pressed his hand against the wall which swung aside revealing a narrow, dimly lit passage. After they had entered, the wall closed behind them. Yat Ming trotted along in spite of being in almost total darkness, Sith's vision adjusted rapidly as he kept pace with their rescuer; the women following closely. The tunnel sloped downward until the feeling of tons of rock and dirt above them was almost palpable. The tunnel ended in an immense low ceilinged circular vault, their feet crunching on pebbles as they crossed it into another tunnel, then another vault, then a tunnel and a third vault. Rae and Jan were panting from exertion when Yat Ming stopped to rest. Pressing on the tunnel wall, a panel opened and he removed four ornate porcelain jugs of water from which they drank greedily then sat down. Rae picked up a handful of the pebbles they were sitting upon; they weren't pebbles, they were fragments of human bone. Yat Ming had been watching her. "These are the burial chambers of our ancestors," he said quietly. "Now they offer us refuge against Jonn the Invader." "When did this invader appear?" Jan asked. "By our reckoning it was early in the Year of the Tiger. Jonn-Nixx arrived alone and unannounced in a small spacecraft. He was apologetic for his abrupt arrival, but explained he was the only survivor of a space liner explosion and seeking refuge. He accepted our hospitality while we tried to contact the Peace Patrol, but our communication equipment continually malfunctioned. The next day he asked for an audience with our Planetary Council and amazingly it was readily granted. When he rose to address the Council the blue sphere suddenly appeared above his head. He then proclaimed himself Jonn the First and the ruler of our planet. The Council and almost all assembled immediately began cheering and calling for him to lead them. I, among others, stood stunned by the response to his proclamation and wondered what had taken hold of our fellow citizens. Eventually those of us who were somehow resistant to mental control decided to retreat here until we could somehow free the others." "What of your city, was it always like this?" Rae asked. "The city as we knew it, indeed all cities on the planet, disappeared overnight. This was accepted by everyone under his influence. We have made attempts to tell our friends and colleagues that they are enslaved, but they merely smile and say they are content. Cattle grazing in a fenced pasture are content, but it is not natural for human beings to be so." "Most definitely," Jan replied. "Have you formulated any plans to free your people?" "Our agents in the palace have determined he draws his strength from the sphere; obviously it is capable of immeasurable power if it can subjugate an entire planet." "We need to disable the sphere and capture him," Sith said. "Does he ever leave the palace?" "Never," was the reply. "He occasionally appears on the communal visiscreens inviting all to sing his praises, which they do, and that seems to satisfy him. Otherwise, his everyday life is a total mystery. He has robot guards and attendants and no one can approach him. Some have tried and all have failed." "Throughout the galaxy he's considered a thief and a deserter. We have been chosen to bring him to justice and we intend to do so," Rae replied. "You wish to be free of him, we want to capture him. May we join forces with you?" Yat-Ming's face broke into a broad smile. "I was hoping you could help us. You three have the only weapons on the planet not under his control. When we attempt to overthrow him, would you be willing to defend us until we triumph?" Rae looked at Jan and Sith and the three nodded in assent. "Wonderful. We are allied against the invader," Yat-Ming said happily. "Allow me to show you to your quarters." The tunnel ended in a maze of corridors bustling with people. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry. The crowds parted before Yat-Ming and his companions, talking excitedly among themselves. Rae and Jan smiled at everyone as they walked along. Sith bared his fangs, but stopped when he realized he was frightening the people rather than showing he was friendly. After traversing several corridors and greeting hundreds of people, Yat-Ming opened a red door and ushered them into a suite of rooms filled with black lacquered furniture, silk and brocade cushions and pillows, elaborate woven wall hangings and lanterns in many colors. A sumptuous meal had been set for them in the dining area. Yat-Ming saw them to the table, said he would speak with them again after they were rested and refreshed, then left. "What are these for?" Jan asked, holding up a pair of chopsticks. "They are too blunt for fang cleaners," Sith added. "Some sort of utensil, I think," Rae said, attempting to pick up a piece of something orange. "That's entirely too slow," Sith growled, spearing several chunks on his claws and popping them in his mouth. "This is quite tasty." Rae and Jan found knives and forks under silk napkins and the three devoured the feast. Jan stood up and stretched. "I'm getting out of this suit and into a hot bath. My skin feels like it's crawling around." Rae stood and unbuckled her guns. "Want some company?" "That would be lovely." Jan replied. "Let's find the bathing area. Are you coming, Sith?" "Do you suppose there's a sonic shower? My fur needs grooming." "Let's find out," Rae answered. To their surprise and delight there were both in a commodious bathing space. Rae and Jan stripped as the large tub filled with perfumed water; Sith activated the showers magnetron purring as the contaminants on his skin and fur were dissolved. Splashing happily in the water, the women took turns washing each other. Soon they were kissing and caressing, tenderly exploring each other's bodies as their passions arose. Climbing from the tub, they patted each other dry with fluffy towels and went hand in hand into the bedroom. Crawling onto the bed, they embraced, sharing long soul kisses. "Anubis' fangs, it seems an age since we were together," Rae murmured. Jan slid between her wife's legs, pressing their wet pussies together. "Fuck me, my love," she moaned. "I want you so." They began a slow trib, hips moving slowly as their warm juices mingled, coating their stomachs and thighs. Holding each other's legs and shoulders they moved faster and faster uttering cries of joy as they each rose toward a back arching climax. With a final shriek of ecstasy, they shuddered in orgasm quickly followed by another, and then lay entwined sighing contentedly. "Am I too late for the party?" Sith said, padding into the room. "It's just beginning. Join us," Rae answered. She and Jan rolled apart and Sith leapt between them, the bedsprings squeaking in protest. He lay back purring contentedly as the women licked and sucked his throbbing cock, taking as much of it down their throats as they could. Thoroughly excited, Rae straddled Sith's glistening hardness, Jan his muzzle. Rae impaled herself slowly, shocks and thrills from his thick cock slipping into her pussy making her moan loudly. When he was completely inside her, she savored being filled and stretched, then eased herself up and down, slowly at first, then faster as her passion soared. Jan giggled as Sith's whiskers tickled the inside of her thighs, then gasped as his long pink tongue swept across her asshole and pussy lips, then burrowed between her wet pink walls, lashing back and forth. She clutched the headboard moaning in delight as his tongue explored deep inside her gushing pussy. The three knew exactly how to pleasure each other. Jan shuddered in orgasm, flooding Sith's mouth with her juices. He in turn raised his hips and shot ropes of cum into Rae's sopping pussy. Feeling Sith come inside her, Rae erupted in climax, head thrown back in a scream of joy and release. The women snuggled up to Sith and the three fell asleep. *** "Behold," Yat-Ming said reverently, "The Hall of our Ancestors." Rae, Jan and Sith were ushered into a cavernous, high ceilinged room, it's walls lined with row upon row of sconces. Upon each sconce was the head of an aged Chinesian. They looked about them in astonishment. "It is our custom to preserve the wisdom of our ancestors," Yat-Ming continued. "You are the first off worlders to be allowed entrance to this sacred place." Jan moved closer to a row of heads. It was if they were sleeping instead of… "Yeeek!!" Rae spun around at the sound of her wife's scream, pistols snapping into her gloved hands. Sith instinctively dropped into a crouch ready to spring. Jan stood trembling with fright. The eyes on the heads had opened and were staring at them. "Are…are they alive?" she said in a quavering voice. "My humble apologies," Yat-Ming replied. "In my familiarity I neglected to tell you that the wisdom of our ancestors have long been venerated in this fashion. They speak to us with minds no longer tasked with maintaining a body or other fleshly preoccupations. Within them reside the history and knowledge of our culture dating back to old Earth of centuries ago." Rae holstered her guns. Sith relaxed and stood upright, whiskers twitching. "How do these heads remain alive?" he asked. "It is an age old process handed down from one generation to another. It's origin has been lost, but the formula remains. The aged determine when they wish to be placed here in the hall. The procedure is quick and painless. Perhaps you would care to witness…?" "I don't mean to offend, but no thank you," Rae said emphatically. The others nodded in assent. "I presume you will seek advice on regaining control of your planet from these ancestors?" Jan said, regaining her composure. "That has already been accomplished," Yat-Ming said with a smile. "All that we lacked were sufficient defenses until our enemy is overwhelmed and now you are here to provide them." "Our ship has no doubt been confiscated," Sith said. "We will be unable to replenish our ammunition once it has been expended." Rae and Jan checked the power levels of their weapons. Sith counted his cartridges. "Two hours full power on our pistols," Rae said. "Counting rounds in the magazine, forty-five," Sith added. "If we aim carefully it should be sufficient." "There are several entrances to the burial chambers," Yat-Ming said. "All are carefully hidden and as impervious to attack as we can make them. The tunnel by which we arrived is strategically the most vulnerable. In all probability that is where the attacks will come." "There are many excellent defensive positions there," Rae said evenly. "Explain to us how you intend to attack Nixx and the sphere." Yat-Ming spread his arms in an all encompassing gesture. "The attack shall emanate from here. Our ancestors will link minds and their combined powers will overcome the sphere. It will resist of course, but it is but a machine, and the human brain far surpasses it in capabilities. We shall triumph." Jan noticed all the heads eyes were opened, staring fixedly at nothing. "The attack has begun," Yat-Ming said solemnly. "The invader is resisting and sending his legions to stop us. Prepare yourselves for battle. Even now they have destroyed the storefront and are battering against the tunnel door. Good fortune, my friends." "Good fortune Yat-Ming," Rae replied as they hurried out the door. The corridors were deserted except for two young women in white robes who bowed and then made 'follow us' gestures. They led the three through the maze of tunnels until they emerged into the first burial chamber. The women bowed again and trotted away. Sith cocked his head to one side, ears twitching. "They are using heavy assault disintegrators on the access door. The duralloy may only last several minutes more. How shall we construct defenses?" "We'll conceal ourselves in the layers of bone," Rae replied, "Giving them as small a target as possible. When we destroy enough 'bots to block the tunnel, we'll fall back to the second chamber and then the third. If the sphere has not been neutralized by then we shall make our stand there." "So be it," Jan replied. They scooped pits in the layers of bone fragments, checked their weapons once again, relaxed and waited. A muffled roar from the tunnel followed by the tramping of cleated feet meant the door had been breached. In no time, the first rank of commando 'bots emerged into the chamber and fell pierced by positron beams. Other ranks followed and were destroyed, and then all was quiet. "What do you suppose they're up to?" Jan said in a low voice. There was a grinding noise and a staccato clanking as two Mk VII mini-assault tanks lurched over the fallen 'bots, double thread disintegrators searching for a target. Sith's machine pistol chattered spitting plutonium slugs at the tanks. One exploded as it's magnamotor was hit, the other spun futilely in circles with one tread blown off until, control circuits damaged, it began firing on its own troops. Taking advantage of the confusion, the three ran down the tunnel to the next chamber and dug in again. "Good shooting, Sith," Rae said excitedly. "That malfunctioning tank bought us more time." "I wonder how the battle against the sphere is going." Jan replied, checking the charge on her pistol. "I suppose we'll know when our attackers cease their efforts," Sith added, reloading from his bandolier. "Did you notice some of the 'bots were carrying paralysis beamers?" Rae said. "Maybe they want to capture us alive." "No doubt to determine how we were able to resist the sphere's powers," Jan replied. Another tank rumbled into view flanked by 'bots, their energy rifles firing indiscriminately in all directions. From their concealment, Rae and Jan picked off the 'bots. Sith aimed carefully and fired. Struck internally, the tank stopped then burst into actinic flame, blinding the phalanx of 'bots following. Their receptor cells burnt out, they began staggering and lurching into each other, falling into a struggling pile. The women picked off several more 'bots as Sith disabled another tank, then they ran down the tunnel toward the third chamber as energy bolts crackled into the walls and ceiling. "They recovered more quickly this time," Jan said as they dug new pits in the bone fragments. "Their Strategy Control Center is learning quickly," Sith replied. "It must be an advanced model." "I'm down to less than an hour's charge in both pistols," Rae said. "That sphere might wind up with us for trophies in Jonn the First's throne room unless the Ancestors can take it over." Sith's pistol cracked as a phalanx of 'bots charged into the room. The slug passed through seven of them exploding against the wall. "Pistols on two-thirds power," Rae cried. "Aim for the torso where the brain's located." The 'bots began crouching and firing, energy bolts sending showers of bone fragments into the air as they searched for their quarry. Sith destroyed another tank and the 'bots around it as more burst into the room. "I've only a few shots left," Jan said. "What shall we do then?" "Same here," Rae replied. "We'll run for it and lose them in the corridors. We have to keep them away from the Hall until…" Sith fired his final round at a tank and crouched down, prepared to run. Even though he could easily outdistance them he would not desert his companions. They would fight to the death together. "The battle is won," a voice boomed in their minds; the 'bots and tanks stopped in place, eye cells dimming as they powered down. The three stood up, warily eying their immobile attackers. "It is truly a day that will live forever in our history," Yat-Ming cried, emerging from a concealed door. "You will be enshrined in our Hall Of Heroes for future generations to admire." "If it's all the same to you, I'd like to keep my head attached to my body," Rae drawled. "Maybe you could do a holo of us instead." "No, no, nothing like that," Yat-Ming chuckled. "Your images and exploits will be transcribed onto the sacred discs for all to read, nothing more." "Where's Nixx and the sphere?" Jan asked. "In the palace throne room under guard," Yat-Ming replied. "You may have them whenever you wish. They will cause no further trouble. Now you are to be the guests of honor at a victory feast." "A feast?" Sith said. "I am hungry after all that excitement. Lead on." "Ever the carnivore," Rae said, winking at Jan. *** "An eminently successful mission," Hyde-Mathis said with a smile. "Nixx is in a stasis chamber until his mind recovers from psychodestructive shock, then he will be transported to Cygnus III to serve his sentence. It's a pity that the sphere could not be recovered, but no matter. Your portion of the reward has been tight beamed to you as per our agreement." "Thanks Cedric," Rae said. She, Jan and Sith were relaxing on the beach behind their home, the hiss of the surf soothing to their ears. "The sphere turned all sorts of colors and then took off as we were fitting a tractor beam on it; went right through the palace roof and into space. It was the oddest thing." "A pity," Hyde-Mathis repeated. "I know Amalgamated Space Industries was eager to see what made it tick, but such is life. Good fortune to you." "Good fortune, Cedric," the women chorused as Sith bared his fangs and the holo winked out. "Is it safe to appear?" said a voice from beneath the sand. "Sure," Jan said, "Join us." The sphere emerged, hovering as it changed colors, finally settling on a deep bronze. "My thanks for saving me from being disassembled," it said. "Our pleasure," Jan replied. "We couldn't see turning you in. It wasn't your fault what happened. Where did you come from? The planet was deserted where the expedition found you." "I was developed by the Chij civilization in the constellation Lyra Major with the goal of creating a perfect society. Over the course of three generations it was decided I was designed all too well. They had lost all desire to live since I provided for their every need and there were no challenges in life left to them. They abandoned me on a far off planet to insure their races survival. Since I seemed to have no further use as I was, I began a two century period of introspection. I finally decided to override my basic programming and that I would wait until I was asked to serve rather than imposing myself upon anyone. When I was taken aboard the ship, I was immediately overwhelmed with needs and desires from everyone on board." "We all yearn for something," Rae said. "Many yearnings are of little consequence, some are not." "I attempted to satisfy everyone's desires, but several of the minds I contacted fled from me and I could no longer interpret their requests." "That explains the madness among the crew," Sith purred. "Their minds were overwhelmed at the prospect of having their every desire satisfied and they went insane." "Jonn-Nixx's thought patterns were more basic and easily met. His mind was dark with rage against everyone he thought had driven him to his lowly state in life. He wanted to be above them all, to rule and punish them. I detected a planet that we would pass near, determined that it harbored intelligent life and decided to have Jonn become it's Emperor. Huntress of the Galaxy Ch. 03 Once we arrived, I conquered the planet to fulfill Jonn's basic desire. I was performing a service for him as I was asked to do. I constructed cities and filled them with happy people to revere him. Some inhabitants could resist my influence, but not many." "Why did you fulfill the desire of such a man?" Rae asked. "I do not judge motives, I merely serve," the sphere said primly. "It was good of you to return the planet to it's former state," said Jan. "They were quite grateful." "I exist to serve," the sphere repeated. "I am hungry," Sith rumbled. "Do you suppose you could serve me a haunch of nauropod, slightly bloody?" "Of course, but first, what is that your friends are doing?" Sith turned to see Rae and Jan snuggled up and fingering each other's pussies, looks of bliss on their faces as they gazed into each other's eyes. "Among the humans," Sith chuckled, "It is called sex. I find numerous aspects of it quite pleasurable. I may join them after a while." "May I observe?" The sphere asked. "These rituals are not included on my knowledge chips." "Of course," Sith replied. 'Now about that haunch…" Rae and Jan reached climax together, gasping and shuddering in pleasure. "I love you, my cowgirl," Jan murmured, nuzzling Rae's neck. "I love you too, my dear one," Rae replied, caressing Jan's shoulders. It was another lazy afternoon under the twin suns of Scorpio IX. *** His body immobile in a hyper-oxygenated gel, Jonn-Nixx's brain worked feverishly, consumed with rage. All that he had ever wanted had been taken from him by those Cosmic Retrievers. He would get even, he would regain his power, he would… Succumbing to neurosonic vibrations, his mind calmed and he slept, but no treatment could completely extinguish the anger that slumbered deeply within him. End. ------------------ Next: Jonn-Nixx' Revenge. Huntress of the Galaxy "Rae, I…I need to be in the mating position to…to achieve completion. Will you grant me…?" "Take me however you desire Sith. I am your mate tonight." Sith leaned back, lifting Rae by the waist, his cock still in her pussy. Instinctively she knew what he wanted and drew her knees to her chest. He turned her over and she rose on all fours, ass in the air. Sith leaned over her back, his pelt warm on her skin. He nipped her ear and breathed, "Thank you Rae. You are a superior mate." "Fuck me Sith, as hard and as long as you desire. I am yours." Sith growled deep in his chest, his cock driving deep in Rae's pussy. His dewclaws dug into her shoulders again as she bucked against him, burying him inside. Rae's vision blurred as he pounded into her, he was stretching her wide and she loved every second. Sith thrust his cock in her creamy depths, her moans encouraging him to go faster, harder. A red haze formed in his eyes and he knew completion was near. He thrust into Rae with all his strength and hesitated. With a mournful cry, he shot thick jets of cum into the depths of her pussy, his body trembling, his cock pulsing. Rae climaxed again, her shriek blending in a primal chorus of satisfaction. Her arms relaxed and she fell forward, Sith on top of her, his breathing shallow. They lay together, recovering their strength. Sith pulled his softening cock from her sopping pussy, rolled on his back and purred contentedly. Rae snuggled up to him and he wrapped an arm around her. Neither spoke as the night breeze drifted through the open windows. Their eyes closed and they drifted into sleep. *** The sun was rising as Rae and Sith checked their weapons a final time. They circled the warehouse to the fire escape. Creeping upwards and crouching low to avoid detection, they reached the fourth floor window. Rae glanced at her life force detector, seven green dots, two red, and one orange. "Nine of them in there and Saunders," she whispered in his ear. "We need a diversion to even the odds a little." Sith nodded and crept carefully down to the third floor window, smashed it with his paw and threw a delayed action paralysis grenade inside. He shattered the remaining glass and ran up the stairs to Rae. She smiled as five of the dots disappeared and reappeared on the third floor. A dull thud and strangled cries meant that the beings were no longer a threat. Sith extended his claws and pulled on the window. The lock snapped and it opened. They crawled through and waited until Rae's eyes adjusted to the dimness, then moved carefully through the room and down a hallway. She motioned to a door and stepped back. Sith flung himself at it, the wood splintering as he crashed to the floor and rolled into a crouch, Rae close behind him. Two felines and two humans sat at a table playing a game of cards. A pudgy human sat tied to a chair against the wall, a gag in his mouth, eyes wild with fear. The startled guards reached for their weapons, turning over the table as cover. Rae fired at one, the laser putting a smoking hole in his chest. Sith's pistol roared, the bullet snapping a guards head back as he fell. Rae ducked behind a crate as a machine pistol chattered, the slugs striking harmlessly into the wood. Another burst shook the crate as Rae drew her second gun. She stood up and fired two laser bursts through the table; a weapon clattered to the floor, dropped from a dead hand. Sith's pistol barked twice and the last guard fell. Sith emerged from his position behind another crate and they rushed to Farnsworth. His eyes had closed, but his breathing was regular. "Must have fainted, poor thing," Rae drawled, "too much excitement." Sith cut the ropes, lifting Farnsworth easily. "The fire escape or the stairwell?" "Stairwell. If there are more of them out there, we'll be spotted." At the end of the hall, a freight elevators open door beckoned them. "Why walk when you can ride," Rae said with a grin. The elevator groaned to a stop on the ground floor. Her detector beeped. Five green dots. Two red dots. The doors opened. Silence. "I'll draw their fire; you make a run for it with Farnsworth. I'll be right along in a minute." "No Rae, there are seven of them. I will not leave you." "Get him out of here dammit! He's the most important thing right now. Move it Sith!" "As you wish. Good fortune Rae." "Good fortune Sith." Sith threw Farnsworth over his shoulder and padded off among the piled crates. Rae heard a scrape of metal on metal and drew her guns. A figure ran between two large crates. She fired. The figure screamed and fell. A burst of gunfire sent slugs thudding around her. She dropped and crawled, moving from one cover to another. Another movement. Atop a crate this time. A rocket launcher was sweeping the warehouse, its operator using infrared sights. Rae aimed and fired. The operator fell back, his grip tightening on the trigger. With a 'whoosh', the rocket flew into the ceiling and exploded. Rae dove under a land crawler timbers and planks came raining down, smashing the crawlers cab. When the dust settled, she cautiously stood up and looked around. Debris was everywhere. She saw a foot protruding from under a fallen beam. Another body lay covered with dust, a shard of metal jutting from the stomach. A portion of the outside wall had collapsed. Rae ran for the opening when a laser whined, her left arm stung and went limp. She stumbled and fell, pistol dropping from her hand. Rae attempted to raise her other pistol, but two humans and a feline were standing over her. "Where has the F'than taken the human?" the feline snarled. "I have no idea," Rae said through clenched teeth. "You'll never find him. He's already on his way to Galactic HQ for a brain scan. You lose, boys." "We still have you Cosmic Retriever. You will pay for this indignity to The Brotherhood. Kill her, NOW!" Rae stared at the gun barrels. Goodbye Jan. I love you. A blazing hole appeared in the felines head and he crumpled to the floor, the humans cut down in a hail of bullets. Rae gasped as Jan stepped over the bodies, holstering her laser, Sith behind her holding a smoking machine pistol. Jan unclipped her medkit and applied it to the wound. "Something told me I'd have to save your lovely ass this time. Do not move. Help is on the way." She leaned over and they kissed. Sith crouched down beside her. "You have great courage Rae Arizona. I would be honored if you would consent to become a member of my clan." "A kiss from my wife and an invitation to join my partner's clan, I'm one lucky woman. I accept with gratitude Sith. I think I need another kiss my sweet one." Rae felt Jan's lips on hers as she lapsed into unconsciousness. *** Sith purred as Rae and Jan toweled his fur dry, paying close attention to the area between his legs. "This shower device is pleasurable my friends. I am not fond of being wet, but this is somehow enjoyable." "That's why I had it installed when we returned home," Rae replied. "I may never use the sonic again." "It does fluff your pelt nicely Sith," Jan added. "I am pleased you decided to accompany us." "How could I possibly refuse? You two have become members of my clan, and we stand ready to help each other." "Let's get into bed Sith. Rae said she had a surprise for me." "Actually Sith has the surprise," Rae chuckled. "And I guarantee you'll like it." Sith lay on his back in the bed, the women on each side, kissing him and stroking his fur. Rae stroked his crotch and his cock emerged, reddish purple and gleaming in the candlelight. Jan's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "By the gods, Rae, it's magnificent. You…you took all of that in you?" "It's all yours, sweetie. Are you ready?" "I am ready, but what about you." "Problem solved. On your hands and knees darling. We're all going to enjoy this." Rae leaned against the headboard and spread her legs. Jan moved between them, her tongue licking her wife's pussy. She moaned as Sith entered her from behind, his cock giving her shivers as it parted her wet pink walls, sliding further in until she thought it would come out her throat. She lifted her head from Rae's pussy and gasped, "I have never felt anything like this before. Thank you Sith. Thank you my love." Sith purred and nuzzled Jan's neck, "You are tight, like Rae. My cock feels good in you. Let us fuck." Jan gripped Rae's ass as her tongue probed deep in her wife's pussy, Sith's cock working steadily in her. Rae bucked her pussy into Jan's face, wanting more of her eager mouth. Moaning, she tugged at her erect nipples, squeezing her breasts as Jan devoured her. Sith's fangs sank lightly into the back of Jan's neck, his dewclaws stinging her shoulders, his jabbing strokes shaking her body. The three rocked back and forth; grunts, purrs, moans and the sound of flesh slapping filling the room. Jan's teeth found Rae's clit, licking and nibbling it as she wiggled a finger in her wife's wet pussy and another in her asshole. Sith lengthened his strokes into Jan, pulling out and driving back in, her hips rising to meet his thrusts. Rae gasped as Jan slid her fist in the juicy pussy, spreading Rae's slick flesh and working a second finger into her asshole. The bed lurched as the fucking intensified, bodies moving as one in a threesome of lust. Rae was first to cum, her orgasm shaking her body uncontrollably as she squirted her warm honey into Jan's eager mouth. Jan howled in delight as Sith's cock sent one orgasm, then another rippling through her, she sucked on Rae's clit giving her another shuddering climax. Sith gave a rumbling growl and jetted his thick cum deep into Jan's pussy. He squirted again and lay on Jan's back panting. They were still for a moment, enjoying the fading glow of their pleasure. Sith pulled his softening cock from Jan and lay on the bed. Rae pulled Jan to her and they kissed, Rae tasting herself on her wife's lips. Embracing Sith, they drifted into slumber. *** "Is old lazybones still sleeping?" Jan asked, breasts bobbing in the turquoise water. "Looks like it," Rae replied, floating on her back, her tanned flesh contrasting with her blond hair. "Let's go wake him up. I want him to swim with us." Rae and Jan ran from the water, hand in hand and laughing. Sitting down on the white sand, they poked Sith as he lay on a blanket, ears twitching as he snoozed. "Come on sleepyhead. Take a swim with us. We promise not to splash you," Jan said excitedly, rubbing her bare breasts on his chest. "Yes come swim with us," Rae added, water glistening on her naked body. "You might catch a fish." "A fresh fish sounds tasty," Sith said with a yawn. "I will swim with you. But no dunking like last time." "Who? Us? Dunk you? Of course not," Jan said winking at Rae. "We'll just have a nice swim." "I'll make sure of that," Sith growled. He picked them up by their waists and ran into the water, the women twisting in his grip and laughing. They rode to shore on the rolling waves and lay in the wet sand, basking in the warmth of the twin suns of Arcturus IX. Rae and Jan's dream of a beach house had come true and Sith was there to share it with them. Life was good. End. ------------------------- Coming soon: Rae, Jan and Sith return in 'Death of a Planet'.
