"I'm late for a meeting Billy," Kylie said. He grabbed her arm gently. "This will just take a minute," he told her. "What's up?" Kylie asked, trying to fight what she was feeling. "I just wanted to make sure you're not ..." William trailed off and Kylie blushed. "I'm not," Kylie told him. A brief look of disappointment was replaced with relief. "Look, I have to go, I promised Paul I would meet him for lunch," Kylie murmured. "Why can't you give me another chance?" he whispered. "I'm engaged Billy and I love Paul," Kylie answered. "Does he make you feel the way I make you feel?" William asked. "We aren't kids anymore. I've moved on, you should too," Kylie told him. William wrapped his arm around her waist, pulled her to him and kissed her hard. Kylie moaned but pushed him away. "I can't do this," she said, hurrying out of the building. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "We are running out of time. We need to find the chosen one," a young woman murmured. "I'm close to finding her, I just hope it isn't too late," her companion said, not looking from his computer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Kylie, what the hell is wrong with you?" Paul asked. "What? Nothing, why?" Kylie wanted to know. "That's the fourth time I've called your name. Are you ready to go?" "Yeah, let me grab my coat," Kylie said. She hoped Paul couldn't tell she was lying; he'd been acting so strange since William had returned and it was beginning to make her nervous. "Where are we going again?" Kylie asked him. Paul sighed. "The Senator's daughter's wedding," Paul reminded her. "That's right. Sorry," Kylie said sheepishly. They rode to the wedding in silence; during the ceremony, Paul grabbed Kylie's hands and held it tightly, a grim look on his face. Kylie looked to the spot where Paul was staring and sighed, surprised to see William sitting with Carrie. "Where's Tyler?" Paul asked after the ceremony had ended. "Sick with the flu so he told me to bring Will," Carrie answered. "Hey," Kylie said softly, taking a sip of the champagne. "You shouldn't be drinking," Paul scolded. "Are you pregnant?" Carrie asked, her eyes widening. Paul's eyes narrowed when he saw the expression of panic on William's face. "No, I'm not pregnant," Kylie answered. "Not yet," Paul added. William and Carrie exchanged mutual sighs of relief. "Lee?" William asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. Kylie turned around and wiped at a stray tear. "What's wrong?" "Paul keeps obsessing about having a baby," Kylie sniffled. "Don't you want to have children Kylie?" "No," Kylie murmured. "You mean not with Paul?" William asked. "Not with anyone. I don't want to take the chance of getting hurt again," Kylie answered. Pain rolled through him. "I'm sorry Billy; I imagine it wasn't easy for you either," she murmured. William took her hand and led her to the dance floor as one of their favorite songs from when they were together played. "It wasn't easy, but the hardest part was being away with you and leaving you to face your emotions alone," William told her. "Now smile and pretend you're having a good time so that the Senator doesn't suspect anything," he added. Kylie smiled a little. "Here we go," William whispered as the Senator walked up to them. "Hello Kylie, could you introduce me to your friend?" the Senator asked. "Senator Bernstein, this is William Sanderson, we went to high school together. Billy, Senator Bernstein," Kylie introduced. William and the senator shook hands. "Marissa looks beautiful today Senator, I'm so happy for her," Kylie told him. "Thank you. I just hope he continues to make her happy, for his sake," the senator said with a wink. Kylie laughed. "One day, you and Paul will be has happy as Marissa and Beau are," he added. He nodded at William and walked away to mingle with another guest. "Lee?" William murmured. "I'm fine," Kylie said. William reached for her but Kylie pulled away and headed for the bathroom. When she walked back out, William was waiting for her. "What do you want?" Kylie asked. "You," William answered. "I'm engaged Billy," Kylie reminded him. "Yet that didn't stop you after Carrie and Ty's wedding," William pointed out. "That isn't fair," Kylie groaned. "I love you Kylie Amber Monroe," William proclaimed. He lowered his lips to hers and kissed her softly. Kylie moaned and couldn't resist, she kissed him back. "I wish I could go back and change things, maybe if I stayed ..." "Shut up and kiss me," Kylie murmured. William chuckled but happily obliged. "What is it Mara?" Paul asked, downing a glass of champagne. "I just was headed to the bathroom when I found Kylie making out with some guy like a high school slut," Mara answered. Paul followed his assistant and his eyes narrowed when he saw Kylie clinging to William as if her life depended on it; William's hands were roaming all over Kylie's body. Paul saw red as he pulled Kylie and William apart. "You leave her alone, do you hear me!" Paul shouted. "Let's go Kylie," he added, dragging her out of the hall. ~~~~~~~~~ "You fucking whore!" Paul shouted, pushing her into the wall of their home. "Paul, stop it!" Kylie exclaimed. "You're mine Kylie!" Paul yelled. He grabbed a large chef's knife and backed her into a corner. "Unless you want to lose something, I suggest you stand still," he warned, running the knife down the front of her dress. He set the knife on the end table and yanked the now ruined gown away from her; he tore her panties down her legs before fumbling to remove his own pants. "You will not see William again," Paul told her, his voice full of anger. He slammed into her making Kylie cry out in pain. "You're my fiancee Kylie, not his," Paul warned. He thrust into her hard and fast. "Paul, you're hurting me!" Kylie exclaimed. "Good," Paul said. He pulled out of her, unable to look her in the face. Kylie started to inch away but he grabbed her and pushed her back against the wall. "I'm not done with you yet," he warned. Kylie screamed when Paul bit her nipple hard enough to draw blood. He rained bite marks all over the front of her body before turning her around. "Paul, please," Kylie whimpered. "Don't beg me to stop, you'll only make it worse," Paul warned. Kylie screamed again as he thrust into her ass and began pump in and out of her. "Please stop," Kylie cried, trying to pull away from him. "I'll stop when I cum in your ass you fucking whore!" Paul shouted. Tears streamed down Kylie's face and she screamed as he bit down on her neck hard. When he had finally cum, Paul pulled out of Kylie; blood tinted semen dripped down her legs. Paul retreated to the bathroom to clean himself up and frowned when he saw Kylie trying to get to the door. "I don't think so," he growled. He grabbed the knife and pushed her into the corner. "You're mine you little whore, so let this be a lesson to you," Paul warned. With the tip of his knife, he carved the words 'Property of Paul' into her back before slamming Kylie's head into the wall. -The next morning- "Carrie, it's Paul. Kylie slipped and fell getting out of the shower last night and sprained her ankle badly enough to need crutches so she's going to be taking a couple of days," Paul said. "Thanks for calling Paul, I'll let the senator know. Tell Kylie I hope she feels better," Carrie murmured. "Will do, bye," Paul hung up. "Stupid whore," he grumbled. Paul walked over to where Kylie still lay on the floor. "Wake up Kylie," Paul said in an almost gentle voice. "I must have hit your head harder than I thought I did," he muttered. "Oh well, time for me to go to work," Paul said. "I'm flying to Chicago on a business trip, I'll be back Friday. I hope you've learned your lesson." He dressed quickly, grabbed his briefcase and left the house. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Care, what's wrong?" Tyler asked. William looked up from the computer game he was playing and stared at his friend in concern. "I just keep getting the strangest feeling that something is wrong with Kylie. Paul called the office on Monday and said that Kylie sprained her ankle getting out of the shower, but it's Wednesday and she hasn't called or come to work," Carrie answered. "We're going over there," William said, standing up. He didn't even bother to pause his game, he just hurried out of the house leaving Carrie and Tyler the only option of following. "It's really dark," William commented as he opened the door. "Kylie?" Carrie asked. The three friends split off into different directions to search for Kylie by flashlight. "The lights don't work either," Tyler grumbled. "Use the light in your coat," Carrie told him. The beam of her flashlight bounced over something. "Oh my God! Will, come quick!" Carrie shouted. William and Tyler hurried over to her and William knelt next to Kylie and felt for a pulse. "She's alive, Ty, call 9-1-1," William said. William felt ill as he examined Kylie's injuries. "What's that on her back?" Carrie asked, shining her light over it. "Oh my God!" William's eyes widened with rage when he saw what Paul had carved. "That sucked," Carrie groaned when the police finally stopped questioning here. "Where's Will?" she asked Ty. "Standing guard," Tyler answered. "I'm going to kill Paul when I see him," Carrie threatened as they came to a stop outside of Kylie's hospital room. "You'll have to wait in line," William told her. They walked into the hospital room to find the doctor waiting for them. "How is she?" William asked. "She woke up while you were speaking with the police and she should make a full recovery," the doctor began. "That's great!" Carrie exclaimed. "However, she has a severe case of amnesia," the doctor added. "How severe?" William wanted to know. "Who are you?" a quiet voice asked from behind the doctor. William and Carrie looked at each other in shock. "Kylie, we've known each other since we were in first grade," Carrie said softly. "I'm sorry, but I don't know any of you," Kylie murmured, her voice sounding small. "It's okay," William said quickly, giving Kylie a wide smile. He took a few steps forward but stepped back when Kylie began to show signs of panicking. "Lee, listen to me," he said gently. Kylie's eyes were glued to William's face. "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise," William told her. He watched her eyes and her face as he stepped forward. William sat gently on the side of the bed. "You're safe now," William promised. Silent tears streamed down her face and William wiped them gently away. "You called me Lee, is that my name?" she asked, her voice sounding like that of a small child. "Your name is Kylie Amber Monroe, but I've always called you Lee. You're twenty-three and you work for Senator Bernstein. My name is William Sanderson, I'm twenty-four and we graduated together. These are our good friends Tyler and Carrie Davis. They got married about five months ago," William told her. Kylie smiled shyly. "How are you feeling?" Carrie asked. "Like my body is on fire," Kylie answered. William glanced at the doctor. "I'll have the nurse up your morphine," he told Kylie. "Don't stay too long," he said to William. "William?" Kylie asked softly. "Yeah?" "Will you take me out of here? I don't want to be here," Kylie murmured. William smiled and squeezed her hand. "As soon as Doctor Foster says that you're well enough to leave, I'll take you anywhere you want to go," William promised. He looked up as Carrie and Tyler hurried in. "What's wrong?" William asked quietly. "Paul is on his way up here to see Kylie," Carrie said softly, too low for Kylie to hear. Before William could do anything, Paul stormed into the room. "Kylie, are you okay?" Paul asked, acting like he didn't know how she got put in the hospital in the first place. He took a step towards her and she whimpered, her eyes widening. "What's the matter Kylie?" Paul wanted to know. "Leave her alone Paul," William said, stepping between them. "Make me," Paul challenged. William pushed the call button and a nurse came in. "Is everything alright in here?" the nurse asked. "This is Paul," William told the nurse. "Nice to meet you." The nurse turned to Kylie. "Do you need some more ice?" she asked. Kylie nodded, fear rendering her speechless. "I'll be right back," the nurse told Kylie. "Kylie, do you know who hurt you?" Paul asked. Kylie closed her eyes as images ran rampant in her mind; she couldn't see anything clearly, but something about Paul had her afraid. William glanced at Kylie and stepped closer to her upon seeing her reaction to Paul. "May I help you sir?" the doctor asked, stepping into the hospital room, armed police officers behind him. "I'm trying to talk to my fiancee but her friends won't let me talk to her," Paul answered, giving William a look that spelled pain. "I need for you to come with us please," one of the police officers said. "Just to help clear up what happened," he added. "William, get me out of here, please!" Kylie pleaded when the police led Paul out of the hospital. "You can't leave yet Lee, you aren't strong enough," William told her. "I don't want to be here! Get me out of here! Please!" Kylie clawed at William's tee-shirt. "Kylie, calm down beautiful," William murmured. He pulled her close, his arms wrapped tightly around her and whispered soothing words into her ear. ~~~~~~~~~~ "I can't believe the doctor let us take Kylie out of the hospital in her condition," Carrie commented as William and Tyler carried things into the house. "He did it because Kylie didn't feel safe, and if she doesn't feel safe, she can't get better," William told Carrie. "It makes sense, but what if something happens?" Carrie asked. "I have my MD," William reminded her. Carrie smiled. "At least one of us had their dreams come true," she muttered. "Yours will. You and Tyler got married and sooner or later, you're going to have a gaggle of kids," William told her with a grin. Carrie laughed. "I don't want a gaggle of kids, four or five would be nice though," Carrie said. "Neither one of us are ready financially or emotionally for children Carrie," Tyler said gently. "I know," Carrie sighed. "But in the meantime, why don't we go practice making them and leave Will to wallow in self pity," Tyler murmured with a grin. William rolled his eyes and chuckled at Carrie's blush. "Go, get upstairs woman," Tyler said, a joking tone in his voice as he swatted her butt lightly. William sat up slowly, listening. "Do you hear that?" he asked Carrie as he headed into the hallway. "It's coming from Kylie's room," Carrie confirmed. William hurried into Kylie's room and saw her tossing and turning, shaking and moaning. William sat down on the bed and carefully reached out to touch her. "Lee, it's Will. Wake up beautiful," William murmured. Kylie's eyes flew open and she screamed loudly, making William's ears ring; he never loosened his hold around her, he just rocked her murmuring soothing words in her ears. "He hurt me," Kylie whispered. William's heart nearly shattered hearing her sobs. He knew that despite being depressed after he had left her but he also knew from Carrie that Kylie had never broken, she had buried it inside, used it to propel her future. "Lee, it's okay," William murmured, stroking her hair. "He stabbed me, I can feel the knife, and I can feel him deep inside me. He hurt me so badly!" Kylie wailed. William closed his eyes, hoping he could control his emotions. He knew if he fell apart, he could scare Kylie, or worse, hurt her. "Please don't let him hurt me Billy, please!" Kylie wailed. Hearing his nickname from her lips calmed him. "Please don't let him hurt me again!" His arms tightened around her and he kissed her gently. "I've got you and he won't hurt you again," William promised. He held her until her eyes closed again and he laid her back against the pillow. "William," Carrie said softly from the doorway. "It's okay Care, go back to bed," William told her. Carrie nodded, gave him a sad smile and left the room. William turned back to Kylie and slipped his hand around hers. "I love you beautiful," he murmured before pressing a kiss to her forehead. He grabbed a pillow and blanket from the closet and settled down beside her on the bed, making sure not to get too close; he did not want her to wake up again and feel like she was being raped all over again. "God help me find the strength to help her," William thought before drifting into a troubled sleep. CHAPTER SIX Kylie woke up, stretched and moaned as her body protested the movement. "Are you okay?" William asked softly. Kylie sat up quickly and scrambled away from him. "I'm not going to hurt you," he told her. "I hurt all over," she whimpered. "I know. Do you want some of your pain pills?" William asked. Kylie nodded and William disappeared into the half bath that adjoined the bedroom. He returned a few minutes later with a glass of water and a pill. "Get some more rest, you'll feel better soon," he told her. Kylie popped the pill into her mouth and lay back down. "Where are you going?" she asked as he headed for the door. "I need to get something to eat and a shower," William answered. "I'll be back soon," he added. "How is she?" Carrie asked when William walked into the kitchen. "She's in some pain, and she's scared," William answered, taking the mug of coffee Carrie held out to him. He took a sip and grinned appreciatively. "Did she tell you what her nightmare was about?" Tyler asked. "Subconsciously, Kylie remembers what happened to her. She told me that she could feel the knife cutting into her and she could feel him raping her," William answered, his voice thick with anger and sorrow. Tyler's eyes narrowed and turned cloudy, a sure sign that he was beyond pissed and the look on Carrie's face would have frightened a rabid dog. "Don't let Kylie see your anger, you'll frighten her," William warned. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "How could you allow yourself to lose your temper like that?" "I'm sorry uncle, I did not mean to lose my temper," Paul said. "You got yourself arrested for assault and battery, rape and attempted murder! How can we continue with our plans with you in jail?" his uncle shouted. "I will find a way uncle, do not worry about that," Paul told him. "I worry until the job is finished," his uncle snapped. "It will be done. Kylie will be out of the way and you can punish William for his disobedience," Paul promised. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Months later- "We need to get her out of here. The memories in this town are too much for her," William told Carrie. "I can't just up and leave Will, I have a job here," Carrie told him. "I know. Can we get the lake house?" William asked. Carrie smiled. "I'll call my uncle," she promised. "Where are we going?" Kylie asked. "We're going someplace safe," William answered. "Where?" Kylie repeated. "Carrie's uncle has a cabin up North, just outside of Traverse City. He's letting us stay there for as long as we need to," William told her. "Have we been there before?" Kylie wanted to know. Memories popped into his mind and William grinned. "We've been there," he confirmed. "It's beautiful!" Kylie exclaimed as she followed William into the cabin. "Yes," William agreed. He showed her to the bedroom that they had shared the last time they'd been there. "Get some rest while I make some food," he told her. "It smells good," Kylie murmured, walking into the kitchen. William smiled and set a plate of pasta down at the table. "So, how close were we?" Kylie asked. William nearly choked on his angel hair pasta. Fighting Back for Love Ch. 05-07 "Why do you ask?" William managed. "I just have this feeling," Kylie murmured. "What kind of feeling?" William asked. "That we were more than friends," Kylie answered. flashback "Will, you should hold this," Carrie said, slipping the ring he had given Kylie into his hands. "How did you get this?" William asked. "The nurse gave it to me before they took Kylie to ICU. They don't want her wearing any jewelry in case she has to go into surgery," Carrie answered. "Hold it for her until we know she'll be okay," Carrie added. end flashback "Will?" Kylie asked, giving him a look of concern. "We were very close," William said finally. "How close?" Kylie repeated. "We were in love," William admitted. "Were?" Kylie asked. William sighed and pushed his plate of food away. "It's complicated Lee, I don't want to make things harder for you," William said. "Is that your way of saying you don't want to talk about it?" Kylie asked. "For now. When you're more recovered, I'll talk to you about it then," he said. "Eat your food," Kylie said with a grin. William smiled as he watched Kylie swimming in the cool waters of Lake Michigan; she seemed calm, happy even. "The water's great!" Kylie exclaimed. "I'm sure it is," William told her. "Come swimming with me," Kylie pleaded. "I don't have a suit," William reminded her. "Isn't there a hot tub at the cabin?" Kylie asked. William nodded. "So let's go back to the cabin," Kylie suggested. William bit back a groan. It was becoming harder and harder to keep from touching her. "What's the matter?" Kylie asked, wrapping a towel around her body and dropping to the blanket next to him. "Nothing beautiful," William said, giving her a smile. "Can we do steaks tonight?" Kylie asked. "Sure," William said with a grin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Kylie, wake up!" William exclaimed, shaking her gently. She sat up with a scream. "Another nightmare?" he asked, sitting down on the side of the bed. Kylie nodded shakily. He reached up and tucked a stray strand of hair back behind her ear. "Do you want to talk about it?" "I couldn't see his face, but I could feel him inside me. He was so mean, so rough," Kylie whimpered. "Kylie, he can't hurt you anymore, I won't let him," William promised. "Every time I close my eyes, I see him hitting me and pushing into me," Kylie whispered. William sighed and pulled her to him. "He didn't just rape me," Kylie murmured. "What do you mean? Do you remember something?" William asked. "I'm almost positive that he rape my ass," Kylie told him. William clenched his hands into fists. "Did he?" Kylie wanted to know. William hesitated, remembering what the doctor had told him. "Billy?" Kylie murmured. "Yes, he did," he answered. The look on Kylie's face broke his heart and he wanted to give Paul what he deserved. Kylie began to cry, her tears dampened William's shirt. "It's okay beautiful," William murmured. "Who's going to want me now?" Kylie wailed. William waited for her to calm down and kissed her gently. "I do," he told her. "You're just saying that to be nice," Kylie accused. "Lee, I've wanted you since the first time I saw you," William told her. "Show me," Kylie murmured. He groaned and kissed her, pulling her to him, stopping only when Kylie tensed. "You aren't ready for this," William said. "Please, I need to forget. Please help me forget," Kylie pleaded. "Lee, I don't want you to regret anything," William murmured. "I won't. Just please, help me forget," Kylie said softly. William studied her face carefully and swore under his breath at the look on her face. One look was all it took for him to realize that he was a goner. "Billy," she moaned as his fingers dipped up inside her, stroking her gently. "Relax," William told her. She moaned again as he began stroking her clit; William chuckled before pressing kisses over her bare stomach, paused, looked at her before replacing his fingers with his lips and tongue. She shuddered and moaned, her hips lifted off the bed. William chuckled, sending vibrations through her. "You're beautiful," he said, looking up briefly. "Please, Billy, help me forget," Kylie whispered. "Are you sure about this?" William asked, hoping she said yes. He was harder than he had ever been in his life, probably from the two months of sleeping in the same bed as Kylie in case she had a nightmare, but not touching her to avoid scaring her. "I'm sure," Kylie whispered. William moaned and began to push his way into her. Kylie closed her eyes and gasped. "Look at me," William said gently when she began fighting him. Kylie looked up at his. "We can stop this if you need to, but I won't hurt you, ever," William told her. The look on his face make Kylie feel safe and she smiled up at him. "Make love to me," she whispered before her lips met his. William groaned and thrust all the way into her. "Are you alright?" William asked, holding still. "You feel so big," Kylie whispered. William chuckled at that. "You just gave my ego a huge boost," he told her. Kylie giggled and moaned as his hands gently cupped her breasts. "God you are so beautiful," he groaned, thrusting harder and faster. Kylie's eyes closed and she moaned in pleasure as her hips rose to meet his. "Billy!" she cried out, her arms wrapped around him. William groaned and thrust faster, he knew Kylie was close which was good because so was he. "Let go," William murmured, his breathing erratic. He thrust hard had fast and grinned as he heard Kylie screaming as her orgasm took over and her body was flooded with pleasure. William shouted hoarsely and shot his seed deep within her. "Are you alright?" William asked as soon as he was able to think. "Yes," Kylie whispered as William rolled off of her. "Did I hurt you?" William propped himself up on an elbow and studied her carefully. "I feel wonderful," Kylie told him shyly. William smiled, leaned down, kissed her and pulled her back to him. "Good, I'm glad. Now you should try to get some sleep," William told her. He watched her as her eyes closed and her breathing turned to the slow rhythmic breathing of deep sleep, a small smile on her lips. "I love you Lee," William said softly, pressing another kiss to her soft lips before falling asleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I can't find her anywhere, where would she go?" Paul asked. "Use her friends. Torture the woman if you have to," his uncle told him. -The next day- "Carrie!" Paul exclaimed. "What do you want?" Carrie wanted to know. "To talk. Regardless of the evidence against me, I didn't attack Kylie. I love Kylie," Paul told her. "I have nothing to say to you. There's something about you that makes Kylie uncomfortable, and until she gets her memory back, her doctor has requested that you stay away from her," Carrie said. "I just want to know where she is, so that I know that she's okay," Paul pleaded. "Not a chance," Carrie said, walking away. Carrie walked from the bedroom to the kitchen as the door opened. "Ty?" Carrie asked. "You should be so lucky," a low voice said. Carrie screamed as a masked man charged her and pushed her into a wall. She stiffened as she felt the man's hard cock push against the small of her back. "You will tell me where your slut friend and her boy toy went, or you'll be the next victim," the man threatened. "No!" Carrie shouted, struggling to get free. "Where did they go?" the man wanted to know. "I'd sooner die then tell you!" Carrie snapped. "Your wish is my command, but first, I think I'm going to have some fun," the man growled. Carrie struggled against him but he was too strong and heavy. "Damn zipper," the man muttered; Carrie recognized this as her chance and slammed her face into the man's face, stunning him. "Bitch!" he shouted. He reached for her and Carrie launched a swift kick to his groin; he fell back, groaning in pain and Carrie ran. "Carrie, what's wrong?" Tyler asked, coming up to the door. "The man that attacked Kylie is in there, he wanted to know where she went!" Carrie exclaimed. Tyler's eyes narrowed and he pulled Carrie away. "We need to get to the lake," he murmured, keeping his voice low. Carrie nodded and followed her husband to the car. Neither of them saw the man standing against a wall in the shadows. "They're leaving now, I'm going to follow," the man said, stepping forward. ~~~~~~~~~~ "Morning," William said as Kylie's eyes fluttered opened. "Hi," Kylie said shyly. "How'd you sleep? Any more nightmares?" William asked. "No," Kylie murmured with a smile. William grinned. "Good," he whispered, lowering his lips to hers and kissed her tenderly. Kylie moaned as his fingers found her hot and ready. "You're so beautiful," William moaned, pushing his hard cock into her. Kylie moaned and raised her hips to meet his. He thrust into her over and over, too impatient to take things slowly, Kylie's whimpers and moans doing things to him that he never could have imagined. The five years they had been a part had changed them both, and he knew he could never leave her again. All thoughts evaporated when he heard her breathing change. "Billy," she moaned as the tip of his cock brushed against her g-spot. She screamed loudly as they came together. "Ty, hurry, there's something wrong in there!" Carrie exclaimed as she closed her car door. Tyler chuckled. "What?" Carrie asked. "That was not a scream of pain. She may not remember who she is or who he is, but their bodies haven't forgotten each other," Tyler said with a grin. Carrie blushed. "I just hope she doesn't think he took advantage of her," he added. Carrie nodded and they slowly made their way into the cabin. ~~~~~~~~~~~ "May I help you?" Tyler asked, opening the door a little. "My name is Tara, this is Grady. We're research scientists and we need to speak with all of you, it's very important," Tara told Tyler. "This isn't a good time. A good friend of mine is ill and came here to recover," Tyler told her. "I know, that's why we're here. Please, time is of the essence," Tara murmured. Tyler glanced at William who shrugged. "Come in," Tyler said. "This is going to sound hard to believe, but please, just listen to what we have to say. Have you ever heard of a place called Seran?" Tara asked. "No," William said. Tara asked another question and again got a negative response. After a few more questions with similar results, Tara was beginning to get frustrated. "The path to destiny lies for you, in the stars," Grady said. Kylie, William, Carrie and Tyler all stared at him. "That sounds familiar to me," Kylie murmured. "I wish I could remember," she added. "I remember," William said. "It's something our mother's have always told us while we were growing up," William told them. "That's because all of your mothers were born on Seran. Believe it or not, but it's a planet at the far end of the galaxy that can not be seen, not even with the Hubble Telescope," Grady said. "So you're saying that I have an older sister that was left behind?" Kylie asked. "Yes. Your mother wanted to ensure her safety, so she left her with her father, your mother's ex-husband. It's a long story, we don't have time to get into it here," Grady said. "What does any of this have to do with us?" Carrie wanted to know. "Your mothers all left Seran because their lives were threatened. You all have some sort of power, yes?" Tara asked. They nodded, still surprised that these people knew this much about their lives. "Kylie, I know this is hard for you since you do not have your memories, but your sister, she's here on Earth looking for you and your friends. Your lives are in terrible danger," Tara said gently. "How do you know?" Kylie asked softly. "Your mothers stayed close, stayed friends so that the four of you would have an unbreakable bond. Kylie, despite not having any memories, you trust these people, do you not?" Tara asked gently. Kylie nodded. Tara's ears perked up and she looked around. "We need to go, now. Each of you go pack a small bag. We will buy any more essentials if you need them," Tara told them urgently. As the six of them left the cabin ten minutes later, they heard the sounds of break glass before a large explosion ripped through the cabin. "NO!" Carrie exclaimed. "Carrie, don't!" Tyler said, wrapping his arm around her waist. "I know the cabin meant a lot to you, but we need to go. Come on love," he murmured. "We'll get whoever did this," Kylie promised, placing a hand on her friend's shoulder. "We must go now," Tara said urgently, pushing them gently into the car. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "We'll be safe here. Kylie, if you could come with me please," Tara murmured. Kylie and William followed Tara into a different room. "Kylie, this is your sister Serene," Tara said gently. Kylie and William glanced at each other; Serene smiled at them. "Please come sit, we should talk," Serene said softly. "Can you believe this?" Kylie asked William later that night. "No, but it somehow makes sense to me," William told her. Kylie nodded and sighed. "How are you feeling?" William asked. "Better. I haven't had a nightmare in days," she murmured. William smiled and pulled her to him. "I'm so glad to hear that," he said. "It's all because of you." Kylie wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him hungrily. "I'm falling in love with you," she whispered. William groaned as he felt her hands pulling at his clothing. "I know I love you," William moaned as he thrust into her. "I swear, that's all they're doing these days," Carrie grumbled as Tyler reached for her hand, mid knock. "They're making up for lost time," Tyler reminded her. "Yeah, but Kylie doesn't even remember Will," Carrie murmured. ~~~~~~~~~~ "How did they get away?" he roared. "I don't know uncle, but I'll find them. Kylie will be mine and she will have my son, do not worry," Paul answered. "She had better," his uncle commented. CHAPTER SEVEN "Are you alright?" William asked Kylie. "Just a little upset stomach, I'll live," Kylie murmured. "Quit talking and get to work!" Kara snapped. It had been nearly three months since she and Grady had found them and they had training them in various forms of martial arts and weaponry. "Carrie, you and Kylie spar, I don't want to risk either of you being hurt by the guys," Grady said. William and Tyler rolled their eyes, there was no chance in hell that they would hurt the women they loved. "Kylie!" Carrie exclaimed. William and Tyler looked up in alarm just in time to see Kylie to sink to the floor in a faint. William hurried over and scooped Kylie up into his arms and carried her to the infirmary. ~~~~~~~~~~ "Lee?" William asked softly. "Hi Billy," Kylie murmured, sitting up. "Are you okay? You scared the hell out of me!" William wanted to know, he sat down on the edge of the bed and reached for her hands. "I'm fine. My electrolytes were just a little out of whack thanks to the flu bug I've had," Kylie told him. William gave her a smile. "I know who attacked me," Kylie said a moment later. William looked up sharply. "It was Paul. He was jealous, wanted to make me see that I belonged to him, hence carving property of Paul into my back," Kylie murmured. Anger and rage brewed. "Billy, I'm fine! You saved me," Kylie murmured, desperate to calm him down. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him close. "I forgive you for leaving me," she whispered. William's eyes flew open and he studied her closely. "May I have my ring back?" Kylie asked. A broad smile appeared on William's face and he pulled out the chain he wore around his neck. He slipped the ring back onto her finger and kissed her hard. "Excuse me, but I need to speak with Kylie alone," Serene said. William nodded, kissed Kylie again and went to find Tyler and Carrie. "What's going on Serene?" Kylie wanted to know. "When are you going to tell Will about the baby?" Serene asked. Kylie's jaw dropped. "How did you know?" Kylie asked. "Because I have training as a midwife. I've learned to recognize the symptoms and you have them all," Serene told her. Before anything else could be said, a loud boom shook the compound. "Stay here," Serene said, grabbing a gun from the drawer under the bed. Before she could leave the room, Tyler and William came racing in, Carrie in Tyler's arms. "We're cutting off from the rest of the compound," Tara said as she and Grady walked into the room. Grady pushed a button on the wall; the wall opened to reveal a hidden control panel, he hit another button and the room sealed itself off from the rest of the compound. "What will we do for food?" Kylie asked. "There's an underground compound. The entrance is in the bathroom. If they manage to get in, they'll never find it," Tara answered. Kylie turned her attention to William who was trying to heal Carrie's wounds. "I need some assistance. Does anyone else have medical training?" William asked. Serene stepped forward. "Good. Ty, can you and Kylie please go down stairs? I promise, I'll take care of Carrie," William said. Tyler nodded and helped Kylie off of the medical table. ~~~~~~~~ "Lee?" William asked, searching their bedroom. He frowned when he heard her being sick in the bathroom. "Are you still sick?" he asked in concern. "It's nothing," Kylie told him, closing her eyes and bracing her head on the side of the toilet. "Nothing? Kylie, you haven't been able to keep things down in nearly three weeks," William commented. "It's just a bug," Kylie repeated. William sighed and knelt down before her. "It's more than that," William murmured. "She's pregnant," Serene said from the doorway. If it hadn't been for the seriousness of the situation, Serene would have laughed at the look on William's face. "Go easy on her Will. With all of the stuff that's been going on in her life lately, I don't blame her for wanting to keep it to herself for a bit," Serene told him. The terrified look on Kylie's face had the expression on William's softening. "Can you give us a few minutes?" William asked. "Sure. Tara's called a meeting. Ten minutes," Serene told them. William nodded. "Why didn't you tell me?" William asked gently. "I was scared," Kylie admitted. "Of me?" William wanted to know, a look of pain on his face at the thought of her being afraid of him. "No! God no, I could never be afraid of you. I discovered I was pregnant before I remembered the past, and since I didn't know how close we'd been in the past, I wanted to wait. When I got my memory back, I was going to tell you, but then Carrie got hurt and you got busy with your training and ..." William pressed his lips to hers, silencing her. "I love you Lee," he murmured, pulling back to look at her. Tears filled Kylie's eyes and he wiped them away. "How far along are you?" he wanted to know. "Three months," Kylie answered. She took a deep breath before turning back to the toilet. William sighed, pulled her hair back with one hand and rubbed her back soothingly with the other. "Guys, I don't know what's going on in here, but Tara wants to get the meeting started," Tyler said. William nodded. "You okay Ky?" Tyler asked. "Peachy," Kylie answered, standing up. She flushed the toilet and rinsed her mouth out with water from the sink. "Let's get this over with," she added. Tyler watched the couple walk hand in hand out of the room.
