Boston is the city I call home. I've lived there ever since I graduated from Brockton Community High School in 2000. Massachusetts is like no place on the planet Earth. Yet even this venerable state isn't free from the influence of those men and women I label the haters. Those people whose idea of a good time is to mistreat those whose only mistake was to be born different from them. The racists. The man-haters. The homophobes. The freaks who drag humanity down. Every day, I am reminded of the fact that I live in a society which doesn't consider me a full citizen. Being male is tough, especially since the western world unjustly values women above men, in spite of their claims to gender equality and fair treatment. That's just the way things work, I guess. Being Black makes matters even worse. The world hates Black males. And I don't see that changing any time soon. Even though a Black man is President of the United States of America. White men and white women hate Black people, especially Black males. Always have and always will. It's in their blood. They couldn't change this about themselves even if they wanted to. Have you seen the way white people look at a Black person when there's no other white people around them? They look at the Black person with fear, and even disgust. Many of them disguise this loathing they have for the Black race. Some of them don't. Racism is here to stay, folks. just like man-haters are here to stay. The only way to remove racism is to remove the racists themselves. How can it be done? I pondered the solution to the dilemma. Throughout time, white men and white women have mistreated countless men and women of other races. In Asia, they mistreated the Chinese people when the British military took over the future Republic of China. They enslaved Black men and Black women from the continent of Africa and brought them to the Americas by force. In the land of India, the British Imperials established their colonial despotism as well. White men and white women see themselves as gods and goddesses. The master race destined to rule all others. And nothing will ever disabuse them of this wrongful notion. So I decided to bring the perpetrators of racism to their knees once and for all. I found a way to travel through time. Strictly a two-shot deal. I could travel to one moment in time, and return to my own time exactly once. That's it. My time machine doesn't work like the ones you see in the movies and science fiction novels. Where should I go? That's what I asked myself. Should I go back to Africa and stop the Europeans from enslaving my Black brothers and Black sisters? Should I go to India and stop the British from dominating the locals? Should I go to China and stop the expansion of the English empire? Should I stop Christopher Columbus and others like him from wiping out the Native Americans? So many places to visit in the pages of history, so little time. I pondered this in my apartment. It was adorned with various accomplishments of mine. I graduated from Boston College in 2003 and earned my law degree from Boston College Law School in 2006. I've been working for the law firm of Hulton & Smith since 2007. I earned six hundred thousand dollars after taxes last year. I live in a nice townhouse in Boston's Back Bay. I donate to the local YMCA and to the NCAAP. I am a financial supporter of historically Black institutions like Morehouse College, Spellman College and Tuskegee University. I also donate to the American Negro College Fund. Yes, I am a Black man who made it. And I haven't forgotten where I came from. Many of my brothers and sisters can't say the same. I decided to travel to my favorite period in history. White history teachers would have you believe that in ancient times, Black men and Black women ran around half-naked in the jungle, worshiping the sun and hunting lions and leopards. They never mention the great kingdoms and early civilizations of Africa. Did you know that humanity evolved in Africa? It's true. It's where all humans come from. Black men and Black women are the closest to the Original Humans. The Original Man. White men and white women are mutants. They developed their pale skin, pale eyes and pale hair because they strayed and wandered away from the African motherland. They're the ones in denial. They're the ones who've forgotten where they come from. Black men and Black women are the founders of civilization. Who ruled the civilizations of ancient Egypt at a time when white men and white women lived in caves in Europe? Black men and Black women. And that's the gospel truth. Thank you very much. My favorite period of history was the time of Carthage, capital of an empire ruled by Black people in Africa. The brown-skinned men and women of Carthage had a civilization older and greater than that of the Romans. In fact, the Romans copied much of Carthage's technology and culture. What they couldn't steal from the men and women of Carthage, they stole from the men and women of Egypt and those of ancient Greece. The Romans were thieves and copycats, nothing more. The Empire of Carthage was around at a time when the ancient Greeks were just starting to build a civilization. The Romans conquered the Greeks and later had designs on the entire world. It seemed inevitable that the people of Carthage would clash with those of Rome. And the man the people of Carthage called to take on the Romans was Hannibal Barca, the greatest military leader in human history. And he was definitely not white! During the Second Punic War, General Hannibal Barca invaded Italy, and conquered neighboring Spain. He sent white men and white women he captured as slaves back to his motherland of Carthage. Yes, a Black male military leader enslaved white men and white women. Proving once and for all that white people weren't gods. And Black men and Black women were no one's inferior. Unfortunately, Roman treachery eventually overcame Hannibal's genius and Carthage fell. Rome was nearly destroyed in the process. I decided to go to Carthage, and warn Hannibal of Rome's treachery. I brought with me evidence of what the white men and white women of the future would do not only to Black people but to anyone who wasn't white. Asians. Middle-easterners. Eurasians. All of these races were at risk. At first, the men and women of Carthage laughed at me. They thought I was some charlatan. Until I showed them pictures of Black men and Black women as slaves of white men and white women. This pissed them off. And finally they were willing to play ball with me. I rode on a mighty war elephant besides General Hannibal Barca himself as he led the Carthage Army against the Romans. We invaded Italy. With my keen knowledge of future events, I helped him evade traps. Hannibal Barca's twenty-first-century biographers didn't do him justice, folks. He was a far smarter, kinder and stronger man than they thought him. And together, we accomplished great things. In 203 B.C. we changed history. Instead of Rome conquering Carthage, Carthage's Army invaded and sacked Rome. The men and women of the once-proud but now fallen Rome were sold as slaves. Yes, white men and white women from a white-dominated imperial society were sold as slaves by the Black men who conquered them. Satisfied, I thanked Hannibal for his trust and hard work. The General was most thankful. The people of Carthage thought of me as the architect of their victory over the Romans. They wanted to worship me as a god. I declined. And returned to 2009 A.D. with my time machine. When I returned to 2009 A.D. I found the world quite different from how I left it. It was an age of wonders. Black men and Black women ruled the planet Earth. And we comprised fifty six percent of the world's human population. Next came the Asians and those I knew as Hispanics and Middle-easterners in another time. The lowest class among humans, the dreadful white peoples , comprised exactly three percent of the world's population. For thousands of years, we kept the white men and white women as slaves. They never recovered after the loss of Rome. Recently, they were emancipated because Black men and Black women are generous. We allowed our white slaves some degree of freedom. Of course, we keep a close watch on them at all times. They're so uncivilized. The planet Earth was a wondrous place under the domination of Black people. We didn't hunt animals to extinction. We didn't poison the environment. And we were quite advanced technologically. The planet Earth was the capital of an interstellar empire spanning six colony planets. There were many series of artificial habitats where men and women lived in otherwise inhospitable places such as the moon and the surface of the red planet Mars. All human beings spoke one language, Swahili. The only accepted religion is the worship of the African gods. All other faiths have been banned under penalty of death. Under Black domination, humanity lives in a golden age. Men and women enjoy equal rights under the law, without any notions of feminist hogwash, and everyone is happy. Life is good. Black people rock! The world is ours. Whites are now minorities and Blacks are in power. It's the way the world should be.
