Xoxo Emeraldfae * "Hold your back straighter," bellowed a tall, grey haired man, "what are you a cow?" A young girl was attempting to learn how defend her left side, even after two months training she still wasn't getting her blocks quite right. Her back cracked loudly as she tried to improve her stance. The gleaming, sliver practice sword was heavy in her sweaty hands. A grunt of approval was heard from her instructor. "Alright, now I want you to see if you can try and block my attacks as I switch between your sides." The woman nodded her head and before she could blink her eyes, her ears picked up a shrill whistle of a sharp-edged blade rushing toward her left leg. She quickly parried the attack but before she could move to block the larger blade again a small dagger was laid in the hollow of her throat. "Olivia, you must concentrate!" Olivia looked up from the blue-colored steel in her throat into the blue eyes of her instructor and master. She saw disappointment and anger flash in his eyes along with a bone deep weariness at her incapability. "Master I'm trying...." She sobbed out, her master cut her off, "No your not, I can see distraction in your eyes, wandering around like a rampaging animal." Olivia hung her head in shame, if she could not fight, then she failed her father and all those people that counted most on her to succeed. "I will try harder and not disappoint you again" A small smile graced the grizzled warriors' face, "alright then, lets try again." Olivia took her stance and initiated the attack. The hollowed ringing of swords rang throughout the training arena. 'Block, block, strike.' over and over these words and actions headlined through her head. Sweat matted her ash-brown hair to her head. The salty liquid burned her eyes, like small licks of fire. She pushed her body faster, the muscles clenching and releasing like a coiled snake. Olivia received a small cut in her outer thigh when she failed to see an opening she wasn't defending. The rage of that cut just spurred her on faster, she twirled around striking for her masters head and at the last minute swinging low toward his stomach, the blow would have been fatal but Olivia didn't even notice the look of shock and fear in her masters eyes, a reddish haze descended over her vision as a penetrating screech rang out of her mouth. 'Never again will I be the weakest, never again will I fail, Never Again' she screamed through her head, and with one mighty blow from her sword both her and her master swords cracked down the middle. Harsh, rapid breathing filled the arena, rivers of sweat dripped to the hard dirt packed floor. Olivia's master was the first to speak, "go rest, wash, and meet me in the council tent in two hours." and without a backward glance left Olivia to her whirling thoughts. **************************** The old warrior made his way to a large, white washed building in the middle of the village, he raised his scarred fist and knocked twice and then let himself in. "Thomas! To what do we owe this pleasure?!" spoke a stick, thin woman resting in a dark corner. "Mistress, my visit today involves my young student Olivia Haroldsdaughter." Thomas stated as he promptly bowed before the older woman. She smiled and showed multiply gaps in her smile as she leaned forward. "How interesting." Silence greeted her statement as the other fifteen council members took their seats at a large oak table that gleamed in the dim lighted room. "Go on Thomas, has she failed her quest to be the first female warrior of out tribe? A rat-ear man, with oily hair sneered. Thomas turned his head and met the eyes of the small man and was pleased when he looked slightly uncomfortable, "No my lord, quite the opposite really, she had pasted with flying colors." The bony woman's eyes glittered in the shadows like a great beast, "Now this is unusual Thomas, do you honestly believe that she passed in little as two months of training?" A titter of laughter passed through the room and he tightened his great fist on his sword's hilt. He started to draw the blade out when a loud, nasal voice screeched from the end of the long table, "Hold, Thomas Sidhe-Slayer, do you honestly believe that you can attack us?!" "No my lady, that was not my intentions. I was merely going to show the intelligent people of the council my proof that Olivia passed her trails." Thomas smirked. "That's not what it looked like......" the woman started but was quickly interrupted by a harsh voice, "Woman if you wish to stay on the council, I advise you to shut your damn harpy mouth." Thomas turned toward the door and a grin brightened the room, "Darius how nice to see you.....again." Darius chuckled loudly, "I trust you've stayed out of trouble my friend?" "Oh mostly, there was this one orc female I had..." a cough interrupted his beginning narration. Thomas turned back toward the table, and caught the offended looks on the faces of the council members. "Show us the proof" one dark hair man growled. "Aye my proof is this." he stated as he delicately pulled his sword out of his sheath. As he laid it on the table in front of the elders that blade cracked the rest of the way down and separated from the hilt. The pop made several people jump as they look closely at the sword. "What caused this?" Darius asked quietly. "Olivia did, she was screaming like the banshees outside of town, and then swung hard enough that she broke her sword and mine." Thomas spoke as the entire building went quiet. The thin woman from the corner spoke up, "What was she screaming?" Thomas faced her with a confused look, "I'm not sure..." The old woman growled, "Come on man! Think! Can you repeat any of it?" "The warrior glowered at the tone of the woman's voice, he didn't really want to tell this old witch what the child had said but could see no way out so he decided to tell her, "yes I remember this one word she said, mind you she said it more precisely , but here it is, the word was nuuruhuine." As the word slipped out of his mouth a goblet of wine hit the floor with a loud crash, spilling blood red drops across the dark wooden floor where they glittered in the light. All eyes were on the large, black headed man standing beside a small table. Darius was just standing there shivering in the heat of the room. "Are you alright my friend?" asked a concerned Thomas. "Oh yes I'm fine, though your student isn't going to be when people hear this." he muttered "Come man, what did that word mean?" asked the small, oily man from before, but now instead of fear in his eyes, he had a look of glee. Thomas really hated this man, he wanted Olivia for his own gains and if she was shamed then he could do what he wanted to her, and nobody would be able to protect her. Darius looked around the room at the room at the faces surrounding him. Some look afraid, others look happy, even boredom on others. He cleared his throat and looked at his old friend, "She said 'death-shadow" in Elvish, and you my fellow council members have got a very young, very dangerous, berserker on your hands." To be continued... Berserker Child Ch. 02 Second chapter everyone!! Hope you enjoy it, all comments and votes welcome! Xoxo Emeraldfae Olivia bent over the wash stand and dry heaved. What the hell happened out there? All she could think about was the feeling of battle humming through her blood and finally pooling around her lions. A soft moan echoed through the room and Olivia turned from the bowl of water. She sat on her bed and held her head in her hands, as she look around her sparse room she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the mirror. Her ash-brown hair had more of a grey glint to it then normal, but she saw something that made her stand up. Her feet shuffled toward the long mirror and she gasped. Something black was running under her shirt. Olivia ripped the white undershirt off and stared awestruck at her skin. Black swirls ran around her neck, over her shoulders, down her chest, across her breasts, and stopped in a sunburst pattern on her stomach. Although beautiful, her mind wouldn't focus on how they got there. Tattoos were forbidden by the council members. Nobody in the village could have them, just like women couldn't cut their hair and men couldn't have long hair. Pulling herself together, she took one step away from the mirror and turned to walk away, when her eyes caught another marking on her back right above the top of her pants. Half a heart lay facing up with crimson ink dripping from the design. The young female heard the gong outside ring the hour out and she grabbed her shirt and slipped it back over her head. What was she going to tell the council members, that the tattoos just appeared out of nowhere and that she had nothing to do with it? They'll think I'm crazy, she thought. Her feet hit the golden dust of the wagon cut road outside at a dead run. She had to see Master Thomas and explain that she never meant to hurt him. 'yes you did' Olivia stumbled as she heard the voice. Her shapely head looked around for the source of the whisper but could see no one in sight. 'I'm right here my dear.' She realized the whispering was coming from her own head and salty tears spilled down her cheeks. Why couldn't her life just be simple. 'because that's not who you are' the voice hissed in her ear "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Olivia screamed out, her feet pounded into the earth as she ran for the edge of the forest. She couldn't face the council, she couldn't face her mentor, she had failed. Her sobs echoed through the thick bush. Why couldn't she please her father's memory. More and more tears came down to stain the white of her shirt as branches snagged her hair and scratched her face. Her feet lead her blindly into the woods, not caring for anything, as her grief filled her mind, making her weep in sorrow. *************************************************************** Unknown to Olivia she was being watched. The forest had long be the realm of the dark elves and the moment she set foot in the shadow of the trees she had a mark on her. Kaane watched her with his oil-spill eyes. His sharp ears picked out that the human female was alone, while his eyes saw she had no weapon on her person. A smirk graced his blue-black skin as he slipped around the tree and disappeared into the growing night. *********************************************************************** Olivia tripped and hit a pile of soft leaves, she saw her hands buried in the dark humus and cried out. The tattoos had spread around her fingers and they had bled under her finger tips making her nail black with red tips. She lifted her head and saw that darkness had fallen and blue shadows surrounded her. She also realized that she had no weapon, no means of fire, and she was hopelessly lost. Grunting in the underbrush caught her attention, whatever it was it could be potentially dangerous. Olivia's brown eyes flickered about her trying to find some means of a weapon, but none presented itself. 'Damn' she thought, 'I run from the council right into the hands of darkness itself.' Her eyes caught a fairly straight branch about 7 feet above where she was crouched, she bunched the muscles in her legs and jump upward. Her hands caught the branch and she swung upward just as a large troll made his way under her. His rumbling roar filled the forest, and the inhabitants knew he had found himself a meal. ********************************************************************* Kaane watch the little human trip and saw her cry out but his attention was diverted when a strong huffing and a disgusting odor assaulted his nose. A stab of fear speared through him when he remembered the girl on the ground. She could not protect herself from a troll. He climbed down several branches ready to pull her up should she be spotted. As he looked down at her he notice that she realized something was hunting her. Kaane saw the muscles clench in her legs and saw her jump just as a bull troll burst through the timber straight at the small mortal. ********************************************************************** Her leg scrabbled against the tree truck as she lifted her weight up the tree. As she gained height, she realized that the troll was staring at her. The grey skinned beast with black warts and piggy eyes glared at her hungrily. She stuck her tongue out at it and laughed. Her adrenaline making her stupid and reckless. The enormous bull troll roared and charged the tree. But instead of hitting the tree head on, he showed some semblance of intelligence and began shaking the tree back and forth. Olivia screamed and tried to hold on to the branch below her, just as she was about to slip off. A large, rough hand grabbed her shirt and hosted her further up the tree. Her scream made the dark elf above her grimace. "Shut up!" he yelled at the shrieking girl, and shook her for good measure. Her screaming stopped and he gave a sigh of relief. 'damn she was loud.' Then he notice the girl in his arms had fainted away. His attention was drawn back to the troll shaking the tree and he laughed at the beast and completely disappeared from the area taking the beast's dinner with him. ************************************************************************ Rough leaves and rock underneath her woke Olivia from her slumber, 'where am I?' she thought. She opened her eyes and looked around, her eyes widened as she thought of the troll, she was in a clearing with a small fire that flickered blue and green, with figures running around chasing each other. As she got closer to the fire her attention was focused on the figure on the other side of the writhing flame. She squeaked and fell backwards at the visage before her. Instead of the troll, a rugged blue black face grinned at her. White hair cascaded around his shoulders in loose waves. Olivia swallowed, he was beautiful. When she met his gaze all the colors of the rainbow danced in them. A energy was washing off him and was mingling with hers across the flames. She took a deep breath and stood up at the same moment he got to his feet. Although she was average for a female, he was a giant. 6 foot 5 at least and all hard muscle. Olivia's heart started beating faster and she nearly moaned as the fluidness in his moments as he step toward her. She took one step back for each of his steps forward. Her hands flew out and she stuttered, "Sir I am grateful for you saving me but please let me on my way and I'll gladly leave" A rough chuckle came out of plush kissable lips, "I think not, you nearly busted my ear drums with that scream and you nearly got both of us killed by a full grown troll because you couldn't resist a little fun" Olivia gasped, "You're the one who grabbed me and then so rudely told me to shut up?!" "Right you are my dear, see elf ears are quite a bit better then yours and you hurt my ears and I require an apology." the dark elf grinned evilly. "I'm sorry for hurting your ears." she managed to choke out as his gazed turned predatory. His eyes left her face and traveled down her ample curves and back up finally landed on her soft pink lips. She unconsciously licked them, and drew a growl from his chest. He made a dive for her and she rolled to the left avoiding his grip. Kaane didn't know why he suddenly wanted her so badly but his senses could smell her slight arousal and something in him responded. Olivia scrabbled to her feet about to take off and gained four feet when a heavy weight hit her back. She was flipped over and was face to face with her savior. She saw hunger in those oil slick eyes and felt an answering echo in her body. 'take him!' the voice in her whispered and she moaned as she felt his lips trace her jaw bone. "WAIT!" she cried out. "What?" his husky voice whispered in her ear making her shiver. "What's your name?" Olivia asked quietly. He turned his head and look in her eyes, "Kaane, what's yours little one?" he asked as he continued to lick and suck his way along her neck and collar bone, nipping when she squeaked out, "Olivia." His hand slipped beneath her shirt and Olivia tried to wiggle out of his grasp and was rewarded with a hard nip on her neck and a growl. "Wait, what are you doing?!" she yelled at his hand brushed the underside of one breast. "I'm taking my reward, Olivia" he said as his hand grasped the bottom of her shirt and pulled upward. The moment his eyes refocused on her skin, he grunted in surprise. Olivia blushed as he stared at the new tattoo marks across her skin. Her breath caught when he lowered his head and ran his tongue around the lines tracing upward toward her breasts. The shooting feelings started low in her stomach and the combination of his silky hair and rough tongue was traced up her skin was driving her crazy. She moaned and lifted her hips off the hard ground and ground them into his. At his groan she met his eyes and saw his widen in surprise. But she was already to far gone as she latched onto his lips with her own. Hunger filled her stomach. She wanted him desperately and couldn't wait. "Please, I need you!" She pleaded, he appeased her by jerking of his shirt as she watch with hungry eyes. The look of lust and need nearly had him coming then and there. His hand undid his leather breaches and they pooled in the soft grass at his feet. He saw a look a surprise and fear as she caught a glimpse of his weapon. He comforted her with a searing kiss and his tongue explore her mouth and he sucked her tongue into his mouth and his hands undid her pants and slipped them down her muscular thighs. His hands then slipped past the cotton underwear she was wearing and found soft curls and liquid heat. He groaned in her mouth as he felt her core, and she let out a gasp as he touch her smoldering bud. His hands grasped her underwear down and off in one sift motion. Olivia felt his hardness against her belly and knew what she wanted. Her hands ran down his bluish colored chest and rock hard abs and touch him. Kaane jerked in her hand and he push her head back into the ground as he ravished her mouth. "Kaane, please." Olivia whispered, his hand reached down and grabbed her butt in his hands and thrust into her. His length stretching her, taking her flower. She screamed an animalistic scream and bit into his shoulder, he grunted when he realized she broke his skin as he started thrusting. Higher and higher she soared. This was love, this was need. Her hips lifted and fell in time with his. She ignored the pain and concentrated on the pleasure of his hard body rubbing into hers. His breath and even his hair mixed with hers. They met each others eyes and let go. She shrieked to the heavens and as she was spasming around him, he roared and let go. They collapsed, breathing hard. He licked the salt of her skin as she shivered. He looked down at the tiny human and saw she had fainted away. He slipped out of her slowly and picked her limp body up, admiring the way her skin reflected the light. He laid her down on her back by the fire and stretched out beside her. Drawn to the warmth of the blanket beneath her she rolled over on her stomach. Kaane watch her butt muscles move and remembered the power in them. He quickly hardened. He quietly chuckled to himself. How could he want someone so much, he didn't even know her. His eyes roamed to the small of her back and he saw two halves of a swirling heart tattoo roping together right before his eyes. A surprised cry came from his mouth as he sat up, he look closely at the mended heart and saw a jagged line that was pushed together in the middle of the heart. He frown but decided to leave it for another day. And he cuddled against her warm body and sank into a light but restful sleep. I hope you enjoyed the story. More will be posted soon!!! Berserker Child Ch. 03 3rd chapter everyone! Thanks for the comments! I am looking for an editor, so be patient please! Xoxo Emeraldfae The first thing Olivia noticed when she opened her eyes was a large, muscular body next to hers. Seeing his eyes closed, she leaned forward to look at his pretty, salt colored eyelashes. They were nearly longer then hers; she stopped herself just before her finger brushed them. She looked away with a gulp, and then looked back down. She found his eyes watching her. She shrieked and rolled backwards. Kaane groaned and held his head. "Do you have to scream?" When Olivia made it safely to the other side of the dead fire, then she scowled. "What do you mean why do I scream? You're the one that takes advantage of woman!" She watched his features closely for any sign of remorse or guilt; all he rewarded her with was smirk and a look that warmed her to her core. The next words enraged her, making her other side flare up. "My dear, I never took advantage of you. You acted like a cat in heat." He watched with interest the looks that passed across her face and was stunned to see rage in those pretty, brown eyes. "You son-of-a bitch," Olivia growled, "I wasn't in my right mind!" "I could tell when you clawed my back and screamed for more." He chuckled. Her next move startled Kaane into yelling. Olivia in one stride cleared the fire and landed on his naked torso. Long, black claws spanned his neck and dug into his spine. Kaane knew one wrong move she could kill him. Her hands tightened, drawing his attention back to her face. Her eyes had gone completely red. The color bled across the entire width of her eye. He couldn't help but notice how delightfully her small breasts waved in the cool, morning air. A rumbling growl vibrated down her arm and into his neck. His eyes finally met hers and she coughed out in a rough voice, "Look at my face, not at my other body parts." "My dear Olivia your "other" body parts are slightly more interesting then your face." he said as his hands traced up her thigh that had him pinned to the ground. Olivia's body shivered, heat pooling at her core. She shrieked at him, "STOP!" His beautiful eyes met her without a shred of fear, "Why? Don't you like it?" She snarled in his face flashing large eyeteeth. "If you don't remove your hand I will remove it, and everything else that's sticking up." Kaane saw her eyes get darker and knew he was only enraging her but he just couldn't help poking fun at her. He moved quickly and twisted, pinning her under him. He had both her hands pinned above her head and winced as she roared and screamed at him. He wasn't watching close enough and she managed to bite deep into his arm. Blood ran down his arm in rivulets, and stained her mouth and chest red. He grunted in pain and rolled to side, rolling into the ashes of the fire. Faster then he would believe possible she was up and slashing at his chest with her dagger-like claws. He avoided the first one and the second came close to unmanning him. "DAMN WOMAN! CALM DOWN!" he yelled. She couldn't figure what was causing her arms to act on their own. What was going on? Why couldn't she control the rage that was burning in hot licks up her legs and arms? She moaned in her head as her new claws dug into a branch in the ground, raking thick furrows in the wood. The pleasure that washed up her arm when her nails sliced through it like butter caused a pleasant tingling to spread up her arm. Her body stopped when she saw no sign of her prey, where did he go. 'He is supposed to be playing with me.' she huffed. 'Playing with us?' she whispered at the voice in her head, 'your acting like your trying to kill him.' 'SILENCE!' the voice screeched at her and blocked her ability to talk. *********************** Kaane watched from a branch high in a cedar tree. He could see her pale body glimmering through the bushes. A dead weight settled on his chest as he thought back to all his studies as a boy. Not long ago he came across a man of her species. Powerful yet unable to control the monster inside, it raged around like a wounded beast. He had ravaged three Elvin villages before they could take him down. The most powerful of warriors couldn't stand against him. Why did he of all people have to come across another one, and one he had bedded at that? Oh sure she was a nice lay, but she could have easily torn his heart from his body. A shiver cascaded down his body, he would have to either kill her or train her, and neither was appealing. He sighed loudly and dropped from the tree he was hiding in; he searched for a large rock and bounced it in the palm of his hand. Not only was he going to try to take her to his leader, he was also going to try to stun her. He was just begging to be killed. Kaane heard a scream from about a hundred yards away, and he slipped through the low hanging branches and ghosted up behind her, without making a sound he brought the rock down on her head. Her body dropped automatically and he caught her. When Kaane turned her around, alarm bells went off in his head. Even though her body was limp in his arms, a predatory rage filled her eyes as she stared at him. ************************* "DAMN IT," Thomas yelled as he paced his small room, "WHY CAN'T YOU FIND HER?" "My lord, she ran into the forest and as humans we cant step foot into it because of the charms the elves set up." spoke a deep gravelly voice from the door. Thomas spun around, "Darius! I thought you had left." "No my friend I haven't left, I can't leave. I am now obligated to tell you what I know." Darius whispered slowly, "I thought maybe she would just go on living as a human but I see that's not possible now." Thomas had never seen such a look of pain on Darius' face, "What do you know?" Darius looked at Thomas with eyes so black they resembled a starless night, "give me some wine, this story is not going to be pleasant for the ears." Thomas's footsteps echoed through the room as he walked to a small table with a bottle of wine sitting on it. The red liquid oozed slowly through the lid and pooled in a goblet with agonizing slowness. Darius winced as the color brought memories of blood that coated his shirt, pants, and even his hair. Unspeakable death, untold horrors await this female. The saddest part is that she would enjoy it, reveal in it like a rampaging wolf or lion. Thomas handed him the goblet and he downed the contents in one straight gulp. Thomas raised his eyebrows at him. "Don't give me that look, you have no idea what she is, what she's capable of doing." Darius hissed between his teeth. Glaring blue eyes meet his smoldering black ones, "I know she is a frightened young woman, just out of her youth. Her father left her with the heavy burden of his name, and then just left her. She has done remarkably well being an outcast, and you have no right to judge Olivia." Darius's eyes roamed the small room, a small cot and a table was the only things his friend kept. The sound of his sigh filled the room, "I'm not judging her, I'm telling you how she's going to be, and her mind is only going to be filled with one thing....death." A chair hit the floor with a loud bang, "Damn you, Olivia isn't like that, she doesn't hurt anyone, and she's never wanted to." "I never said she did old man!" Darius yelled back, "I'm saying that is how she will become, that is her true nature. As much as the Elves enjoy the chase, trolls the pain, and as much as humans love power, she will crave it and grow weak without it." Thomas fell back on his bed with a groan. As his head hit the pillow, memories of Olivia's father filled his mind. 'Take care of her, for I can not anymore.' A tall, red headed man growled. 'But James, she's your daughter!' Thomas stated with an alarmed look. James looked down at his pretty daughter and sneered, 'She maybe my blood, but she's nothing like me, take her before I kill her.' Thomas remembered Olivia hugging his leg, straining away from her father with a look of total terror. James took one more look at his unwanted daughter, turned, and left. "What else do you know?" Thomas gritted out. Darius felt a tear slide down his face, "the day after Olivia's father left her, he attacked an elvin village. He killed everyone there. He was a berserker just like her. It made him ferocious in battle, a force to be reckoned with, but he lost control of the shadows and killed for the power. After two weeks of killing, a dark elf named Kaane finally killed him in his sleep. After that the berserker's name was whispered through the dark, becoming the nightmare of legend." Thomas looked down in shame, he knew James had been a powerful warrior but he never thought his friend could kill like that. He looked back up to Darius, "How do you know about James and his daughter?" Darius smiled a harsh smile full of teeth, "I'm James's father, and I am also a berserker, though I learned long ago that if I didn't control the shadow they would take over. I learned that after killing my own wife in a fit of rage." ************************** Olivia sobbed in her head. Pain was all she felt. Her head throbbed with every beat of her heart and the whispering was getting stronger. They were like dark shadows closing in on her mind, staining everything about her soul. She tried to think around the red haze, but she was so tired. 'Yes just let us take control, you have nothing to fear, we will take care of you. Just like Thomas.' "THOMAS!" Olivia screamed, fighting with the strong arms that held her down. "What's the matter with her? Who is this Thomas?" a soft voice asked "I have no idea, what's wrong with her or who Thomas is, but I will find out," stated Kaane. Olivia opened her eyes slowly, and heard a feminine gasp, "Kaane step away, she a berserker!" Olivia watched Kaane's shapely head turn and glare at a young woman with grey colored skin, "I know this Sasha, do you forget who killed the last one?" Sasha looked down with a look of guilt, "No, brother I do not." Olivia watched Sasha quietly leave the room, the door closing with a click. Her eyes flickered back to Kaane and saw him studying her. "What's your problem hasn't anyone told you staring is impolite?" Olivia murmured. 'I am truly sorry my dear but your to dangerous to not look at." he spoke quietly. Tears sprang to Olivia's eyes as she tried to sit up, her head burned as if someone poured acid in it. She found that she was wearing a soft, white shift of some gauzy material that left very little to the imagination. Olivia gasped and tried to shield her body, but found her hand loose bound to the bed. "What the hell is this?" She screamed. 'Like I said you're too dangerous, I can't just let you wander around to kill someone." Kaane said as he frowned, "If you did my king would put you down without a second thought. You maybe strong now, but you wouldn't survive his punishment." Olivia shivered, why had she gotten involved with the Elves; everyone knew they were sadistic. She fell back down on the bed and huffed, "Well then what do I do now? Am I to just lay here waiting to be killed?" A bark of laughter sounded through the room, "That my dear is up to me." A tall slender male walked through the door, his white hair contrasted sharply with his deep black skin. Kaane quickly stood up and bowed, "My lord, this is the female I found in the woods..." "It's closer to searching out a female to rape, you ass." Olivia spat out, she received a sharp look of disapproval. "Oh splendid Kaane, you found yourself a girl. I must say she's entirely out of your league." Anger flared bright in Kaane's eyes, "Yes my lord she is." The other elf did not fail to notice the look of hatred on the other man's face; glee filled his chest. "So I'm going to take her off your hands." ****************************** A shadow stirred in a dark house, he could feel her power. Her sheer, raw energy that called to his darker half, enflaming his lust and hunger. He felt his canines lengthen. He could smell her blood from miles away. The shadow concentrated on her energy and entered her red hazed mind. Oh yes this was a mind he could bath in. he could read her blood lust and destruction. Oh, she was not aware of it yet, but he could help her unlock that part. His dark soul looked out through her eyes and saw a room filled with leaves and caught a glimpse of two dark elves. Alarm washed through him that was the dark elvin king. He gathered his shadow and streamed out of the darkened house where he had been staying, His mind was bent on having her, and no one would get in his way. ************************** Olivia was jerked out of the bed and dragged across the threshold of the room. Copper cuffs clicked around her wrists and neck. She pulled away from the overly rough hands that pushed her down a hall. If she had not been so tired, her mind would have been filled with wonder. Silver branches with black leaves created a canopy and hung to the ground. The floor was black marble with silver highlights. Kaane walked behind her and watch her reactions, he saw grief, anger, and finally wonder. His sadness and anger hit his gut like a steel blade. He knew what is king would do with her; he would use her berserker side as an assassin, as a weapon. Her life will be filled with pain, blood, and death. Olivia glanced at Kaane and saw a dark anger. It chilled her to the bone and yet made something in her purr. Her attention was caught by the darkness as they stepped through the end of the hall. She expected to see the stars but a pure black greeted them. Olivia's feet stopped, "Where are the stars?" she whispered. A guard snickered, "We're underground, the stars do not shine for us." Olivia glanced at him; a short elf with murky grey hair looked back. She saw his eyes span her body. His eyes flared in lust and he took a step forward, but a large hand stopped him before he could take another step forward, "Take one step further and I will rip your head from your body." Kaane's oil-slick eyes turned blue as the sky and black nails grew from his fingertips, "Or maybe I'll let the Berserker have you, they are known for their love of ripping hearts out of the body of their prey." He whispered into the pointed ear of the smaller elf. He paled and tried to take a step away from Olivia. To emphasize the point, Olivia tapped into her power and felt her eyes bleed red. She smiled at the male feeling her canines puncture her lips; her nose caught a whiff of urine. Kaane dropped him in disgust, and he bounced like a ball. The group continued on, his whimpering faded, as they got further and further away. They passed many buildings, all covered in the same black marble. She saw small murky, brown goblins, blue colored fairies with large swan-like wings. Even an occasional human, though they looked starved and pale. Her eyes landed on a human girl and felt a pang of sorrow. She was wearing nothing but a halter that pushed up her breasts. Her pale skin had a multitude of small cuts and bite marks. She was just kneeling taking slaps and pinches to her breasts and butt. Her dark hair was dirty and tangled. Olivia pulled away from her guards and ran to the girl. "STOP! DON'T TOUCH HER!" she screamed. Kaane walked over and grabbed her arm, "What precisely do you think your doing?" Olivia turned brown eyes up to Kaane's, "Save her please! No one deserves this." Her hand reached down, cupped the girl's face, and looked into her tired, resigned eyes. Tears dripped onto the young girls face. "Olivia that girl is a slave that is what she is made for." Kaane said in a harsh voice. "I know you don't believe that, she is human, as free as me and you. And twice as brave." she sobbed. A hand grabbed the girl's dark hair and jerked her away from Olivia. Her scream beat against Olivia's ears. She looked up and her eyes fell on the wide girth of a toad-like creature. "Leave my slave alone girl, or I'll see the same fate for you." he croaked. Olivia hissed, "Release her you pig!" "HA! What's a small female like you going to do about it?" he said as his thick lips tried to sneer. His hand smacked hard across her face. Kaane started forward to deal with the wretch, but his ears caught a small hiss. Kaane saw Olivia's whole body shaking, her tattoos got blacker and her limbs lengthen. She raised her head and everyone took a step back. Her red eyes glared out framed by sable spikes. Her heavy breathing whooshed out as her teeth sprouted out of her gums. Everyone looked as her shirt ripped down her back as the sable spikes sprouted from her spine. Crimson eyes locked on the slave owner, promising vengeance. He took a slow step backward and turned. Savage glee burned in her eyes, his one movement triggered her instincts and she moved. ********************** This time she welcomed the rage. Oh, the delicious fire filled her body. Olivia felt her skin split where her spikes jutted out. She wanted blood; she wanted this person's death. Her eyes locked on his body, the smell of fear and adrenaline spiced the air. She watched his webbed foot move and his body whip around. 'Oh yes, run prey run!' her mind shrieked He was making the hunt more enjoyable. She jumped once and landed hard on his back, boring him to the ground. Black claws sliced though his warty skin and blood drops sprayed across the stone cobbled ground. Some of the blood landed on the small female that scrambled out of the way. Olivia's attention turned back to the piece of filth that dared to hit her. She saw salty tears run down his green cheeks; apathy filled her mind but the lust overrode her feelings. She quickly grew tired of playing with him, forcing her hand into his back, grabbing hold of his spine, and gave a hard jerk. His spine separated cleanly from his body and it hung limply from her hand. Her hands dropped it like a piece of trash and she jumped off his back. Unaware of the blood on her body, she walked to the girl but she stopped, blocked by three of her guards. Her deep growl rumbled through her chest. A quick look of fear passed between them and they separated. Olivia knelt down and reached out for the slave. The girl fainted and Olivia caught her before her head cracked against the hard ground. Kaane laid a shaking hand on her shoulder, "Olivia leave the girl, and we will take care of her." He met her eyes and was relieved to see their normal brown, he watched her spines recede back into her skin. He pulled her up slowly, and steered her away from the carnage she had spread. The crowd parted and let them through without a sound. After walking close to an hour, they came to a large house; unlike the rest, it had a shiny jet covering. It was oddly beautiful in a frightening way. Kaane was worried; Olivia had not made a sound after she killed that slave trader. Even he was horrified at how easy she just ripped his spine from his body. Her shift had a scarlet hue from the blood. Her hair, matted to her head with sweat and blood, curled around her face. Holes in the shift let anyone see her body. An odd filling of protection filled his chest, before he could act on it the door to his king's mansion opened. Kaane pulled Olivia though the door and walked down the black carpeted floor. The smell of blood filled the room with it dark odor. They stopped at a tall, red door and waited. Silence filled the hall. Its potent magic making the most harden of hearts quiver in fear. Olivia and Kaane met each other eyes and they just stared. They both jumped when the door suddenly opened. "Please come in Kaane and bring my new pet in with you." a musical voice called out. Berserker Child Ch. 03 They walked slowly into the room and both Olivia and Kaane's eyes roamed the ornate room. Gold and platinum covered every surface, the untold wealth of jewels and lush animal hides laid everywhere. The king of the dark elvin court lay naked on a bed of sable wolf skins. His eyes roamed them both and seeing blood, he frowned at Kaane, "What have you allowed my pet to get into?" "My lord, a slave trader hit her and it unleashed her other side." Kaane whispered quietly. The king smiled and showed a glimpse of silver teeth. "How did he die?" Olivia stepped forward to answer when she saw the discomfort Kaane had in answering, "My lord, I am truly sorry but I ripped the man's spine from his body." She looked up and saw his eyes rest coolly on her; he glanced back up at Kaane and barked, "Leave us now!" Kaane bowed and walked out of the room, closing the door without so much as a click. ************************** To be continued: Berserker Child Ch. 04 Hi everyone! Heres the 4th chapter. Hope you enjoy it. Ideas, comments, and votes are always welcome. Theres not much sex on this chapter, just little hints of it. Trust me in the next chapter is gets better. Xoxo Emeraldfae The dark elvin king stared at the woman before him. Oh, she was very pretty, especially with the blood on her. His eyes had a tinge of blue about them when he slid of the bed towards Olivia. He walked passed her, noticing her cheeks flare red at his nakedness. Olivia watched him like a mouse would watch a snake. Her brown eyes followed him to a small closet where he reached in with an unnatural grace. His hands pulled out silver tank top and a pair of black leather pants. He glanced at her and threw them in her direction, "Put them on and be quick about it." She walked forward and picked the clothing up off the black, fur carpet before her. Olivia looked up and waited. He gave her a sharp look and asked harshly, "What are you waiting for, put them on now, before I do it myself." She jumped to do as he ordered and shed her ruined shift, before she could dawn the other clothing he touched her skin, running his finger through her blood soaked hair. "You have no idea how desirable to me you are right now." he whispered hotly in her ear. Olivia whimpered in fear. What was he going to do with her? Her mind screamed as his hand slid across her neck slowly. Her skin tingled where his dark fingers traced the tattoo patterns, "Should I take you to my bed so you'll forget Kaane or would you kill me in my sleep?" Olivia snapped her teeth as his fingers traced along her jaw line. His hand moved quickly, slapping her across the face, knocking her down. It didn't hurt; all it did was humiliate her further. "Looks like your going to need house training." he scoffed loudly. Olivia seethed inside at this powerful man, she watched his slender but powerful body glide across the room to the door. He opened it and spoke quietly to someone outside. The king shut the door and quickly walked over to her. Olivia hissed as his hand came into view. He shoved his face in hers and kissed her vehemently, his tongue licked along her teeth and she moved to bite down, his hand encircled her throat above the copper ring and squeezed threateningly. "If you harm so much as skin cell on my body, I will skin you and keep you alive until I'm done." Olivia shivered and completely let him have his way. His hand slipped lower, brushing down her stomach. Olivia brought her hands up to stop him, "Please don't," she mumbled against his mouth. He glanced at her face and saw fear. Pure, irrational fear reflected in her endless brown eyes. His cock hardened, as his hands slipped into the dark curls at her stomach. "My, my, Olivia, looks like someone needs me." He stood up and grabbed her by her hair pulling her body against his. Her shadows swirled close to the surface, and Olivia knew that if she didn't let them out she wouldn't survive this elf's touch. He watched her eyes bleed crimson and a shiver passed down his back. A voice of utter evil issued from her pouty lips. "What should I call you?" Masculine lips curled up in a cruel smile, "Just call me Master for now pet." He turned her around walking behind her to the bed; he pushed her stomach down on the musky skins. Her Master flipped her over and seized her lips. She could feel his hardness against her stomach. She started to laugh, maniacal laughter echoed through the room. He just stared at her, waiting until she finished. Olivia bared her teeth at him and snapped. His eyes started to grow an eerie blue. Black claws shredded the furs beneath her. Her own claws lengthened in response. "Stop while your able pet, you won't survive this." he gasped out between a generous amount of sharp teeth. Olivia just faded into the back of her mind, agonizing at what she was being forced to do. 'I can have control?' the voice whispered, 'yes, go, do what you wish with him.' Olivia whimpered and completely faded into her memories of a better time. Her voice issued harshly, "It's you that won't survive." She suddenly dug her claws into his shoulder blades dragging his neck down for a strong bite. He yelled and bit her back. Olivia rolled putting the elvin king beneath her. She let his neck go and looked into his eyes. The fear and arousal she saw in his azure gaze spurred her on; she impaled herself on his large member. A yell burst from his mouth as her tightness gripped him; she was too tight. Her head bent to his ear and whispered, "Do you want to die?" His blue eyes widened and he realized just how little power he had in this situation. His arms acted without reason, grabbing her neck throwing her off him onto the floor. She laid there completely nude with black spikes growing slowly out of her back. Her legs bent and she flipped backwards into a standing position. "I believe you're scared of me Master." she giggled, as she placed her hands on her hips. He smiled and snapped his fingers, the copper bands around her neck and wrists tightened, electricity ran from one joint from the other cause her to convulse. Her head hit the floor as her shrill scream was cut off from another bout of electricity. Her master slowly walked toward her and sneered, "You see my dear, I can control you like an animal. That precisely what you are, an animal in a human body." He snapped his fingers at her again and Olivia had an overwhelming urge to snap his fingers off one by one. However, her thought process was interrupted by a stronger voltage then before. Her air cut off and black spots floated around her vision. When she could no longer stand it, her mind and body gave up and finally went quiet. *********************************************************************** The murky shadow seeped under the door of the room Olivia had vacated. He found her scent mixed with two other elves. His panic grew, if they harmed her it would be hell to pay. Footsteps echoed down the hall and he had just enough time to slip under the small bed before Kaane walked in the door. The bed groaned as he settled his heavy body down on the white sheets. The shadow sent out a tendril of power and touched the elf's mind intending on finding where Olivia had been taken. He saw flashes of blood splattered floors and an unreal creature holding bone in its hand. Olivia stood blood soaked in all her glory. He licked his lips; he would enjoy this young one. She would supply him for a long time. His body fed on fear and pain and this female's aura just reeked of pain and sickness. Another flash caught his mind, a black palace and a naked king. Now he knew his target. His tendril was extracted very slowly as not to cause any alarm. He left the poor, tormented soul to his own thoughts as he oozed beneath the door and was gone. ********************************************************************** A heavy-set woman with a large scowl pushed the young girl into a bath. She hunkered down in the steaming water and scrubbed her body, she glanced up with happy eyes, "Thank you m'lady." The woman grinned showing black teeth, "No need to call me a lady, I'm anything but, though you can call me Margret little one. What's your name?" The girl's bright blue eyes dimmed and she hid her face in her long, dark brown hair, "I don't have a name Margret, you may call me what ever you wish." Margret frowned as she thought, her smile brightened the room when she spoke, "I'll call you Joy." The petite female looked up in confusion, "Why that name? I am not joyful." A boisterous laugh came from sunken lips, "Why child you have many days of joy left, and that's to remind you not all in the world is dark and sad. Now I must go and fetch another bucket of hot water. You just relax and I'll come back in a few." Joy watched the woman's skirts disappear through a curtained door. She finally let a smile grace her pink lips. Joy sighed, sinking down into the hot water. She hoped this wasn't a dream. ********************************************************************** Olivia's eyes flashed open expecting to see a furious king standing above her, but there were only bars. They cast a dark shadows on her skin making it appear striped. She sat up, banging her head on the top bars with a sharp clang. She frowned, was she in a cage? Olivia turned in her cage and a shiver ran down her arms and legs. She was in a kennel. Hounds were caged around her, some large and fearsome, others small and weak. All were looking right at her slobbering in hunger. That son-of-a-bitch put her in a kennel, as if she was a dog to do his bidding. Her scream started the dogs to howling. The hellish noise blending in harmony with her roars of fury. Apprehension crawled into the mind of all the guards. What kind of demon was being kept in the King's kennel? They skirted the place with growing dread. The king listened to the noise for several seconds and he turned back to the grey-skinned woman in his bed. She was cowering down between the blankets, nearing tears. He frowned, was she that weak? He snapped at her when she started to sob, "Get out and go get me something to eat." The girl jumped to do his bidding, causing another frown to grace his finely carved lips. She scurried out of the room and disappeared from view. He threw back the sheets and walked to the window, yelling to the guards below to shut Olivia up. Terror filled eyes glanced in the direction of the noise. He looked back up and decided he would rather face the she-demon then the king's wrath. ******************************************************************* Olivia kept her howling up, hoping someone might notice her. She heard rapid footsteps and quieted. The hounds stopped at the same time, filling the kennel with absolute silence. She saw a pale-faced guard spring into view, she smiled at him and he threw a rock at her cage. It hit the bars with a loud clanging and Olivia scrabbled back from the door. "Shut up bitch, the King demands it!" He yelled in a quivering yell. Olivia smiled and shrieked again. The horrible noise was deafening as the scared solider ran form the darkened building. 'Let the king come deal with me himself, if he dares.' she thought as she grinned. After what seemed an eternity her voice finally gave out and she settled down on the cold bars to wait. Olivia's mind meandered through her dreams. Flickers of faces crossed her vision, especially of one in particular. A huge, red headed man stared down at her with a look between sadness and disgust. Who was this man, why did her hate her? Her dreams changed to a memory of when she was a small child. She was with Thomas in his small room. 'Child you must not do anything to smear your father's name.' 'Why Thomas?' a very, small Olivia asked. 'Because your father is a very powerful warrior and all warriors want obedient children.' Her master said gently, running his hands through Olivia's ash colored hair. She climbed into Thomas's lap and asked, 'Can you tell me a story about papa?' She saw Thomas's start to concentrate and knew a good story was coming up. He jiggled his knee, bouncing her up and down, 'All right this one you've never heard before. I'll tell you the story of how your mama and papa met. Who you like that?' Olivia squealed in delight, 'Oh, please do! Did mama look like me?' He smiled down at the excited child below him, 'Yes, you do have the look of your mother; she had the same brown eyes as you.' Olivia smiled, waiting for him to continue the story, 'Alright now your mama was a fierce fighter from a southern tribe. People whispered that she was part wildcat. All who met her in battle was cut down at the knees....' 'What tribe was she from?' Olivia interrupted. 'I'm not sure, just one of the many southern ones, they are known for their female warriors. Anyway stop interrupting or we won't ever get finished,' Thomas said as he frowned. Olivia hung her head, 'I'm sorry Thomas.' He graced her with a quick smile and continued, 'Where was I....Oh yes, so one day, your papa decided he wanted a wife so he searched throughout the land for a suitable mate. One day he came across a small, but handsome woman. He walked up to her and said, "Woman, you are my mate." well naturally your mama being high-spirited, rebelled and challenged your father to a contest of strength.' 'Papa needs to learn manners, you don't talk to a woman that way, or that's what I heard Alice say to Gregory in the village.' Olivia spoke up as Thomas paused. 'Alice is right little one, you must treat your woman with love and care. Now hush and let me continue. So they met in the arena, and to your father's surprise, she was covered in these beautiful tattoos." " You see the barbarian women have tattoos on their bodies to mark which clan they are from and one tattoo in particular is enchanted when the tribe has female children.' 'It's a very ornate heart tattoo that's broken into two pieces, they're found here.' Thomas pointed to Olivia's lower back, 'When the female meets a suitable breeder the two heart pieces rope together. " "Now then, your mother and father met in the arena and the fight was a close one, but your mother favored quick attacks with a sword over the more heavy strikes of the axe your father used. She danced around him like some eldritch spirit taking its revenge.' 'Finally when your father was gasping for breath, she tripped him and held the sword point to his throat." Thomas whispered. He looked down and saw Olivia's eyes closed with a smile on her face, picturing the battle. He continued, 'Your mother was smiling and before your father could get up, she gave him a sound smack on the head, knocking him out cold.' Olivia jerked from her sleep by a sharp tug on her hair. She looked around and saw one long tress being tugged and clawed by one of the dogs. She swiped her hand at the animal, scaring it to the other side of his cage. Olivia frowned as she sat up, she didn't remember ever having a dream like that before. She scooted into one corner of the barred cage and drifted back into a dreamless sleep. ********************************************************************* Kaane wished he could just kill the King, but the guards would kill him before he could do anything. He still shuddered at Olivia's way of killing, the dark elves were ferocious but nothing compared to her suddenness for the attack. She reminded him of a hawk, it looked for prey and when it found its victim, it would swoop in and completely decimate the quarry. He turned over on his bed, thinking about how sweetly she responded that night in the woods. So soft and innocent, she was so very innocent. Then he carried her to her doom. Why was he foolish enough to believe his king could help? His brow creased with a frown, he had to save her somehow. He could not let her become corrupted and evil because of him. Kaane's feet hit the marble floor without a whisper of sound. If he knew who this Thomas was, he might be able to get the man to help. He slipped out the door as silently as a shadow and skirted the guards placed along the hall. They were stupid and fell asleep on their watch. The only sound of Kaane's passing was a small creak of the door and then silence echoed throughout the house. His feet pounded into the cobbled stones of the main street, turning first left then right. He cut through alleys and jumped over sleeping urchins, who shivered in their sleep. He ran and ran, never stopping, he had to talk to Olivia before sunrise or he might not ever be able to again. Kaane's feet slid to a stop as he crossed the boundaries to the King's property. Tall, lush plants in every shade of red, purple, and black dotted the landscape. He searched for one plant in particular, it was know as the Carta weed. One whiff of the fumes and it would knock a bull troll senseless for hours. A flash of a silver blade glinted in the darkness. Kaane slipped down through the plants, intent written over his entire face. He agilely avoided rocks and sentries posted, and made his was to the palace. Kaane figured that the King would keep Olivia in his rooms, He crept down the dark, marble corridor, looking every which way. Kaane's upper torso peeked around a corner. He quickly pulled himself back when he saw a trio of guards walking up. Their voices echoed loudly down the hall, "Yeah, that demon scared me shitless. If I was the King I wouldn't have kept her shut up in the kennels, I would have locked that little hell cat in the dungeon and let the criminals have at her." "You know the King wants her alive." A short, squat man said, "She's suppose to be a playmate, but I heard she nearly ripped out the King's throat when he tried playing with her." They passed Kaane's hiding spot without noticing a lumpy shadow move. The shadow chuckled in delight at the mental picture the soldiers put in his mind. Kaane was oddly please that Olivia didn't respond to the bastard, he was known to bleed his woman dry. He stepped out of the shadows making a slow journey to the kennels. ************************************************************************ The black mist followed Olivia's scent to a run down shack. It rolled around, slightly confused. When had her scent veer off the path to the palace? He swayed in between two blue colored bushes that stunk and thought of what he was going to do. Either he could capture her in his mist for or he could go corporeal and steal her. An evil smile graced his emaciated lips, oh how nice would it be to have her right there on the floor moaning underneath him. The mist rolled in on itself and took the shape of a six foot seven, shadow sucker. His race was nearly extinct, and he was proud to be the most powerful among the ones left. His purple hair streaked with red moved slightly in the breeze. Long strides took him to the door, his foot kicked it in, heedless of anyone inside. A middle-aged woman ran at him with a broom in hand but stopped short when she caught a glimpse of his form. She turned attempting to run; he moved quickly grabbing her by the throat. The moment his hands touched her bare skin, it started to glow with a black light. Every shadow was being sucked out of her body. The man's eyes closed in ecstasy, this woman had seen some evil in her life. Before long, she was crazed from the pain. His purple eyes glared at her slack face, they never lasted long enough. He heard a whimper behind him and he turned quickly. Blue eyes met his violet ones. This was not Olivia, yet she was covered in her smell. His hiss filled the room, "You girl, where is the Berserker Olivia?" Joy's eyes widened in fear as her feet took a step backward. Her face whipped toward the door, calculating how fast she could reach it. The shadow sucker saw her movement and moved swiftly, cornering her against the wall. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Do you want to end up like that woman over on the floor?" Joy glanced at Margret and saw her eyes rolling in her head with drool seeping from her mouth. Azure eyes darted back to the man in front of her and gulp, "No I don't." "Good," he purred at the girl, "then tell me where Olivia is." Tears ran down Joy's face as she spoke, "She's at the palace with the King." A whip of wind hit her face and she looked around, he had left. She ran to Margret and sobbed, "Oh, Margret wake up!" Her legs pumped as she jumped up and ran out the door looking for any kind of help. ********************************************************************** Olivia hissed at the guard that was staring at her from a safe distance. She was pleased when he looked slightly uncomfortable. The guard gulped and reached into the bag at his feet. Berserker Child Ch. 04 In his hands, he held a small copper remote. Olivia eyes widened, wondering what he was going to do with it. He pointed the smaller end at her and screams burst through the bars. Olivia threw her body against the cage bars with a fury that made the whole building shake. Tremors ran across her body following the electricity. Repeatedly the guard shocked her. He laughed at her through the bars. "Can't hurt anyone now, can you bitch?" Spit started to bubble up around Olivia's mouth. Convulsions made her body rock and twitch in agony. Her screams died to soft rasping as her body shut down. Before the guard could push the button again, a blade took his head cleanly off his body. The spray of blood landed everywhere, making the dogs growl with longing. Olivia opened her eyes and saw her friend Kaane standing in front of the cage looking like the god of vengeance. His hands searched the guard, pulling out the keys to her cell. When his fingers touch the cell and large body knocked him off balance sending Kaane skidding across the soft dirt floor. Olivia cried out, slamming against the cold, steel bars. Her snarling was loud in the enclosed space of the kennel. Her blood red eyes landed on a man of giant stature. He had pale colored skin; he was adorned with purple hair with crimson ends. His handsome face turned toward her, completely dismissing the downed elf on the ground. The man's long stride carried him to the cage in a matter of seconds. He thrust his long, slender hand inside the cage and was rewarded with a painful bite on his right arm. His left hand grabbed her arm, dragging it through the bars. His small teeth sliced through Olivia's skin with little difficulty. Power singed through his body, flashes of pain and terror filled his head. Olivia bit down on the man's arm with enough strength to break bone. She hissed when she felt him do the same to her captured hand. Memories and emotions rushed in front of her eyes. She shut them quickly trying to hide from the gruesome thoughts. One emotion in particular caught her attention. He was nearing ecstasy from just biting her, she could feel his blood swirling and finally pooling. All this happened in the matter of milliseconds, in that time Kaane was able to get to his feet and grab the stranger. Their mouths were ripped from each other's arms. Olivia could hear both men snarling and growling at each other. Kaane stepped forward and spoke, "Who the hell are you?" The pale faced man sneered at the other man's tone, "My name is Michal, and now if you don't mind I'll take my mate away from here and you damnable elves." Michal flitted back to Olivia and ripped the cage door off. She stepped out and her spine crack sharply. Kaane gasped in shock when she walked into view. Her once black tattoos were now a deep, glowing purple. Michal took possession of one arm and started to drag Olivia toward the exit, Kaane hurriedly grabbed her other arm, tugging them both to a halt. He looked down at Olivia and was surprised to see acceptance in her chocolate brown eyes. "Olivia what's wrong with you? Do you know this man? You don't have to go with him if you don't wish it." Olivia opened her mouth to speak, but was stopped by Michal's loud hiss. Before anyone could blink, he had Kaane by his lengthy, pallid hair. He jerked Kaane's head back and whispered in his long, sharp ears. . "I am a Shadow Sucker, if you do not want to end up on the ground drooling I would suggest you keep your mouth shut. Olivia is my mate, we compliment each other with our darkness, and I won't let anyone come between us, ever." Michal's attention was drawn away by a dark nailed hand laid on his arm. Olivia's pretty face looked up at him beseechingly, "Please don't harm him, and I'll go with you. I'll do anything." Michal smiled down at her and pushed Kaane down with a rough push to the back of the head. His hand reached into his clothing and pulled out an iron dagger banging it over Kaane's head, knocking him out. "Come Olivia let leave before we're delayed again." With those words said, he grasped Olivia around the waist and disappeared from the estate. ************************************************************************ Michal was ecstatic; his one mate was now with him. He would never be alone again, he could share all the destruction in the world with this female and she would scream in fear of him. He transported them to the darkened house that he resided in before his had found her scent. It was located in the middle of the forest, surrounded by large lake. He looked down at his lovely, dangerous woman and found her nearly fainting from the rush of his magic. He grinned, now they could have some fun with each other. His arm picked her up with little protest and he carried her into the house. Sparse furniture and dust greeted them as they entered the household. He felt her go limp in his arms and ghosted his way up the stairs and into his bedroom. Unlike the rest of the house, this room was done in purple and red satin, his colors. He laid her gently down on the bed and ran a long finger across her oval face. Such loveliness shielded the animal underneath. He felt his cock lengthened in his black, leather pants. He looked around and spotted some tethers he used for his hair. Michal grabbed them quickly and swiftly bound Olivia to his bed so she couldn't fight him. He repositioned her on the bed and straddled her hips. His hand's going up her shirt finally brought her up from the blackness. His ears were rewarded with a scream, and she tried to wiggle out from underneath him. "None of that sweetheart, you're well and truly bound." Olivia snapped her teeth at him in a mock display of fierceness. In truth, she just wanted to sleep and to forget the last couple of days. He just smiled at her and his hands continued up her shirt to cup her small breasts. "Don't you want me just a little bit?" He asked in a hurt voice. She just turned her head and let him do what he wanted, he would anyway and there was no fighting it. Michal snapped her head back around so he could look her in the eyes, "You are my mate, wife, and plaything. Don't deny me, or I'll take it by force, and that will only leave one with pleasure." His violet eyes ran down her skimpy top and his hands slipped out of it. Instead of him leaving her alone, his hand snapped the thin straps and pulled the top down her waist. She cried out in fear and renewed her struggles, but was stopped when his mouth slanted over hers in a hungry kiss. Olivia's mind exploded in agony. Every dark thought and feeling was being brought form her subconscious. What was he doing? The painful thoughts of her father's abandonment, the wonderful pain of training, everything was being pulled from her. Her eyes flew open and saw his closed. Tears streamed down her face, dripping slowly on the bed to form a damp spot. She could feel him getting harder on her stomach, as he ground against her. Her ears caught a sharp breath and once again, a quick burst of pain made her recede to her mind. The memory was from long before she could remember. Olivia saw a dark cavern and a swirling blue mist. She moved forward, not even feeling her feet move. The closer she got, the more painful her head pounded. When dark spots gathered in her vision, she stopped and observed the mist. To her amazement and horror, she saw a woman emerge from the mist with a small child. The child was her, a small version of Olivia was walking right towards her and finally as they nearly passed through her own body, blackness washed over her vision and she let go. To be continued.
