I would suggest reading that part prior to reading this as this is the second in the series, and it would just make more sense to read one then two...Thank you to everyone for the encouragement.** Standing between the merchandise table and the bar, Eric and Anna looked at each other both feeling the heat growing between them. Gathering her courage, Anna slowly moved her hand from Eric's shoulder to his right cheek, she leaned in and brought her face next to his and kissing him ever so lightly on his left cheek. "Wassup, Ya'll!" said Barry the lead singer of the band, making Anna and Eric jump from each other hearts beating wildly as they tried to collect themselves. How long had Barry been watching them stand there they both wondered simultaneously. "Uh, hey man. What's goin on?" Eric muttered, bringing his hand up to his neck and rubbing it. His face flush with the intensity of the past few minutes and it had in reality only been minutes, unlike the hours that it had seemed. "Hey babes," Anna said walking up to Barry and giving him a quick hug before going out the back door of the bar. Though it was getting to be summer and the Florida sun made the days almost unbearably hot and muggy the nights could be breezy and nice. Tonight was going to be one of those nights. "So, did I interrupt something between you and Anna?" Barry asked grinning. "Naw man its cool, we were just talking it was nothing." Eric answered, looking towards the rear door of the bar, wondering what Anna was thinking. Then turning back to Barry and the people drifting into the bar added, "Come on let's start getting the equipment on stage." *** Shaking her hands out and trying to cool her overheated body, Anna's heart raced thinking about the look in Eric's eyes how determined he had seemed to be. But she knew from past experiences and in general about how Eric was that he was rarely a man of action. Something was going on tonight and after the fire that had built between them knew that it was far from over. Anna slowly worked her way from the back of the bar and the interior courtyard that led to other clubs and bars on the block, back around to the front of Gotham. Anna saw Eric as she came around the corner, and paused leaning against one of the parking meters that littered the side of the road. The meters were old and had a hard time standing up on their own, let alone with the added weight of someone leaning against them and it wavered slightly as she rested her weight on it. She had harbored feelings for Eric for as long as she had known him, and yet as she had often confessed her feelings for him they had not been returned. Eric was just a little taller than she was maybe six foot if he was lucky and was very lean, he wasn't muscular but he was toned. He always kept his brown hair short and usually spiked, only occasionally buzzing it, that is if Jim slipped-up while trimming his friends hair. Eric had the most piercing sky blue eyes, that held a wisdom he shared with few people, and a cute dimpled smile that made Anna's heart melt just thinking about him. Though Anna hated to admit it, she was a romantic at heart, a rock chic to the core, but always a romantic. ** Eric glanced up looking in Anna's direction as she came around the corner, from the back of the bar. She seemed lost in thought as she settled in and leaned against the old parking meter. He had to admit, he probably would have kissed her inside had Barry not shown up when he did. She looked so good tonight in that corset and skirt, fishnet from head to toe and those calf length boots that her friends jokingly called her "getting laid boots." When she was confident in herself, she was really confident taking on this air that she owned the bars that they played in, demanding the best places to put the bands merchandise with the tables of her choosing. But she also had this quiet side to her, that said, "I want someone else to be in charge..." Eric longed to step out and be the man that could handle to two sides of Anna: the red haired goddess and the kitten. "Holy CRAP GIRL! You look Hot!" a voice blasted from across the street. Both Eric and Anna looked in the direction of the voice. It was none other than the bands manager Jim, and Anna was heading across the street to talk to him. Eric not wanting to see how his friend looked at Anna walked back into the bar carrying the bands equipment that would be used during the show. "So who you trying to impress?" Jim asked, as Anna got closer. "No one just felt like dressing up. Thought that it might help increase sales, you know how it is. You do what you gotta do right?" She said with a chuckle. "Yeah, I guess. Where's Eric? Is he here yet?" "Yeah, he was the first person here tonight besides me." "Good, I'd like to get some pictures of the guys in the courtyard again before we go on stage. You have your camera right?" "Always. Let me just get it and I'll head out back." "Ok, let the guys know that when they are done setting up to go with you out there. I want to get them done before the show starts." "Ok, see you out back then." Anna said working her way back across the street and towards the bar entrance. ** Anna walked back into the bar, feeling the gazes of her friends as she approached Eric. Coming up behind him and placing her hands at his hips she said, "Hey, Jim wants everyone out back to take pictures before the show. Leave your jacket inside, it's nice out there." "Ok." He said adjusting a cable that fed from his bass guitar to the amplifier. "Guys! Jim wants everyone from the band outside to take pictures when equipment is finished. Lets hurry and get this done before it gets busy." Anna said loud enough for everyone to hear. Making sure to see that the four guys all nodded in acknowledgement about the taking of the pictures outside. ** Eric was the first to finish and slowly made his way outside to sit on the benches in the courtyard to wait for everyone else. He figured it would be nice to get some air before the rest of the guys started to ask about what Barry had seen earlier that evening. Walking out the back door of the bar and making his way around the corner a little he saw Anna inverted on one of the benches: her black boots slung over the back of the straight backed bench crossed at her ankles, skirt tucked between her thighs, and her red hair taken out of the confines of the clip dangled just off the edge of the bench seat. Her face getting flush, this time because her head was upside down. She was completely unaware that anyone had come out back and just sat like that for a few minutes. Eric walked over to her, clearing his throat when he was just next to her. Her eyes opened quickly and she swung her boot-clad legs quickly over the edge of the bench, spun herself back to normal and straightened herself out and pinned her hair back out of her face. "You can never sit like a normal person can you?" he asked. "What's the fun in that?" she retorted, " I'm all crazy tonight and I decided I'm blaming it on you." she added coyly. "Why me? What did I do? You're the one all dressed up, wearing a skirt and everything." "Just cause." Anna said leaning back against the bench, smiling slightly and looking over at Eric through the corner of her eye. "Ok," Eric said adjusting himself so he could lean back on the bench comfortably. And quietly he added, "So what's goin on? And don't say "nothing," you felt the same way I did earlier. I just don't want to hear the run around tonight." "Honestly, you know how I feel about you Eric. I have made it clear to you for so long, you just never felt the same way back." She said looking down, her heart beating faster fearing that Eric would say that they should spend less time together. Instead his warm hand gently rested on her hand and curled his fingers around hers. "I think we are on the same page now. What do you think?" "I wouldn't be totally against it." Anna laughed a little, leaning her shoulder against Eric's side. "Ok then," Eric said, looking down at Anna who had her head leaned against his shoulder, just slightly looking up at him. Eric lifted his right hand to Anna's cheek and lifted her face to his. The kiss started off as most first kisses do, a little awkward and tender, testing the boundaries. With no hesitation from Anna he deepened the kiss, sucking on her lips and dipping his tongue into her mouth. When they finally ended the kiss, they smiled at each other, content that the chase had ended for now. "I said, Ahem!" came a voice from the center of the courtyard. Neither of them had noticed that the other band members and Jim had made their way into the courtyard and had been watching them as they had ironed out details and had shared their first real kiss. Night at the Bar Ch. 03 *Note to readers* This story goes in succession, and thus makes more sense if you read previous chapters first. Hope you are enjoying the story thus far.** "Excuse me! Are we taking pictures or making out tonight?" an irritated yet amused Jim asked. "Why can't we do both?" Anna asked sarcastically, giving him the expression that said there was no way he could possibly ruin the fantastic mood that she was now in. Squeezing Eric's knee and reaching for her camera with her other hand she stood, adjusted her skirt and corset and looked at Jim. "Lets just do this ok guys." Scott the bands guitarist said, motioning for the stairwell, "Anna can you take pictures from up there first please? Then over by the fountain?" "No problem." Anna said heading in the direction of the wrought iron stairs that lead up to the apartments above the bars and cafes. Biting her lip she wish that she had taken the chance to kiss Eric sooner, prior to that evening that is, that guy drove her crazy without even trying. ** Eric took a deep breath as Anna grasped his knee before standing. His breath already ragged, and his pulse racing from kissing her. He never realized that she would have this kind of effect on him. Scott stepped in asking Anna to take pictures at certain angles, taking the awkwardness out of the moment. He knew that they would both be hearing it from one person or another later that evening but now wasn't that time. Eric watched as Anna walked over to the stairs, the way she moved made his pulse race even more as she seemed on top of the world now. Jim's voice not even getting a rise out of her, Eric would never admit to it but he thought she could be really sexy when she was getting worked up and annoyed, her face would get flushed and she would set her jaw in this really stubborn way. ** The four band members got into position with the direction of their manager, and Anna diligently took the pictures. Making sure that she got the best out of all four of the guys. After many pictures, lingering glances, blushing, and lip biting the group of friends made their way back into the bar to play their gig. ** Following the groups direction Eric and Anna made their way into the bar and headed in different directions, Anna to the ladies room and Eric to the bar. When Eric noticed that Anna had turned the corner he followed after her, making sure that none of the others had noticed his last minute decision. As Anna closed the door to the single stall restroom, Eric grabbed the door. "What are you doing?" Anna asked just a little surprised. She knew she had made mention of the bathrooms but never expected him to act on it. Eric locked the door so no one could interrupt them. "Just this," he said grinning, and then taking her face in his hands he kissed her. This time the kiss though just as gentle as the first had an urgency to it, and both grew excited at the possibilities of someone catching them in the ladies bathroom. "I'm not really into the quickie in the bathroom just yet, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to kiss you again." "Damn you," smiling widely she reached up and grabbed his head and brought him back down to her, "just shut up and kiss me." This kiss was anything but gentle as they ravished each other's mouths, their breathing getting heavier and sweat starting to glisten their bodies. "Mmmmhh," Eric moaned, and pulling away from the kiss added, "If we don't stop now, I don't think I'll be able to let you leave here." "That's ok with me," Anna said smiling and biting her bottom lip and looking up at Eric, whom at this point had his arms wrapped around her waist holding her tightly to his chest. "I have to be on stage in two minutes, and you are getting me all worked up." "I can tell." "That's nothing, just wait until later." He added promising more for later, just then someone started knocking on the bathroom door. "Shit, we aren't going to be able to live this one down are we? Do you want to walk out of here first or should I?" "It doesn't really matter but I'll go out first." Kissing him quickly and letting out a little moan as they pressed into each other, and finally making their way to the bathroom door. Anna unlocked the slide bolt on the inside of the large wooden door of the bathroom and turned the handle to open the door. Anna and Eric walked out of the bathroom and walked over to where the merchandise was set up. "I have to go outside for the "pep talk" but you'll be upfront taking pictures right?" Eric asked, noting the glances that they got coming out of the bathroom together. "Yeah, are you leaving straight after we tear down or are you gonna hang out for a bit?" "Depends, I know how you feel about me screaming on stage, so its completely up to you." He said turning sideways against the long rectangular table. Smiling because Anna had this grin on her face and she was half staring off into space, adding "Yeah I know how you get. Your not that innocent." "Ha ha, we'll see." Anna said laughing and pushing him now in the direction of the front door. "You'd better get out there before Jim and Scott have a fit." "Aww, you don't want to talk to me anymore?" Eric laughed and headed towards the front door. ** Anna watched as Eric made his way to the front of the bar. A weight oddly lifted from her shoulders, with Eric expressing he had feelings for her. She lifted herself onto the barstool crossing her legs at her ankles, and then rubbing her fingers over her lips feeling that they were tender and slightly swollen. Seeing through the dim lighting and a side door opening, Jim was walking towards her. "Not trying to impress anyone eh?" Jim said, as he got closer to her. "Nope, it just happed to turn out that way." Anna said to Jim, pointing to him and adding, "And don't make fun, of either of us. Its one of those nights where I'm actually enjoying being out." "I won't, you know I just want to see you two happy. If that means that the two of you are happy together, that's cool. Just promise you won't do anything to distract him while he's on stage." He said with a slight pleading in his voice. "I won't, I promise, just a few pictures for the website and then I'll be back here." "Thank you, now where is everyone?" "Dunno, I assume that they are all up front waiting for the "pep talk" because that's where Eric just headed, but I'm not sure." Anna said as Jim nodded and headed in the direction of the front door. ** Eric was ecstatic as he walked to the front of the bar, not wanting the night to end. He hadn't felt this way towards anyone in a long time, and seeing the way Anna looked at him tonight, made all the difference in the world. "Duuude! Makin out with Anna in the bathroom? You lucky dog..haha." an arm wrapping over his shoulder as his friend and band-mate Scott drug him over to where the other two members were standing. "So man what's up with you and Anna?" Barry asked, lifting an eyebrow, "I knew something was up earlier, the way you two jumped a mile when I came in." "Ok guys, enough. Lets just say that Eric and Anna are interested in each other and leave it at that till later. Right now, we actually have a crowd, so lets go out there and put on a show for them." Jim said walking to them, motioning for Eric to come over to him he said, "I'm happy for you man, she's a great woman. Just don't let her be a distraction for you on stage. Stay focused." "Yeah, thanks, no problem." Eric looked at Jim quizzically. "I feel good about this. Its weird, she's one of my best friends, you know?" "Yep. I know. But for now lets get out there." ** The show was a success, and everyone responded well to the music. Which put everyone in a good mood, and fans actually bought a few items of merchandise before wandering around the bar again before the next band took the stage. Anna packed up the remainder of the items and got things ready to go back into her car. Night at the Bar Ch. 04 **This is fourth in the series, please make sure you read previous chapters first. Thank you to everyone for the encouragement, and remember to comment and vote. Thanks!** "So how did we do for merch?" Jim asked Anna, helping her take the remainder of the items down and pack them away. "We did better than usual, three new shirts and a couple cd's." She answered, rolling up the bands banner and putting it in the duffel bag. "Awesome. Hey Karen and a few of us are going to go to the strip club for a bit want to come?" "Dunno, let me check with Eric." "Hey, sounds good to me." Eric said coming up behind Anna, and putting a hand on her hip and squeezing lightly. Anna smiled because she had done her darnedest to tease him while he was on stage: crouching on the ground to get a better shot, and occasionally running her hand up her fishnet clad thighs just under where her black skirt had shifted up. They were both so turned on by each other that going to the strip club was going to be torture for both of them. "Ok then, we can all take one car or separate its up to you guys." Jim said. "Lets just take one for now, if we are going up to Tampa tomorrow, I'll just stay with you guys and we can get my car on the way back." Anna said, "Besides I have everything I need in my car." "Works for me, lets get this stuff in the car and we can go." ** Anna and Eric climbed into the back of Jim's silver truck, Jim and Karen, his fiancée, sat up front. Karen had shown up at the bar later than everyone else, and hadn't gotten the entire story of what had happened between her friends yet, and though she wanted to ask Anna about what had happened she didn't want to ask in front of Eric and Jim. Karen was tall and thin, and played volleyball throughout high school. She was pretty, at least 5' 11'' with long legs, and shoulder length dirty blonde hair. She and Anna had been friends for years, and the two girls often got together to come up with erotic gift ideas for Jim. They had never actually gone through with any of the ideas though. Jim drove the silver truck to the club, just up the road and parked in the back. Their other friends had already shown up and were waiting for everyone to get there before heading to the vip area of the club. Everyone conversed quickly while making their way into the establishment; the bouncer knew everyone and collected the money from one of the guys. As Anna and Karen made their way into the club, Karen grabbed Anna's hand and drug her to the bathroom around the corner from the main door. "So you have to tell me what is going on?" Karen asked pushing the door open and dragging her friend behind her. "All I've heard so far is that you two have been making out and in some interesting places too." "I don't know really, but its what I've wanted for years. He's paying attention to me! And so far we've only kissed out in the courtyard and the bathroom at Gotham. Not that big of a deal really." "Ok, just be careful though alright." "I'll will, not like I'm going to outright have sex with him tonight. I've waited this long, and I'm not going to fuck it up." Laughing the girls made their way back out and over to the small vip area in the back of the club. ** Eric watched as Karen took Anna to the ladies room, he was sure the girls would be talking about what had happened between them earlier. Karen was possibly the only person who wouldn't make some comment about them. Eric looked at the dancers, and rubbed his hands on his jeans, these places always made him uncomfortable especially if the girls were there. All the guys in the band brought their girlfriends and wives along, and even encouraged their significant others to get into the activities. He'd watched on other occasions as Anna had received lap dances while talking to some of the dancers. All the girls were like that; they'd laugh and talk, receive a lap dance, give the dancer a hefty sum of money in her g-string, and talk some more. At one point Anna and Karen had taken one of his hands and ran it over the dancers body, he had gotten so nervous that he had plastered himself to his seat not moving an inch. Eric looked up past the waitress who was taking their drink order and saw Anna and Karen approaching, they were waving and pointing out different dancers to one another. One of the dancers on stage Athena came over to the girls, they talked briefly and then motioned over to the vip area. Afterwards the two girls made their way over to the rest of the group, Anna walked right over to him and Karen went to Jim's side. ** "Athena and some of the better girls are gonna be over here in a little bit." Anna and Karen said in unison. "Sweet," came Jim's reply. "We ordered drinks already. Are you going to stay over here for a bit or go to the stage?" "We're going to stay over here," Karen said sitting next to Jim on the over sized booth style couch that circled the wall. Anna sat next to Eric, just as the waitress came back with their drinks. The guys had ordered her an Amaretto Sour, which was normally what she ordered. She stirred it a little to mix it up and plucked the cherry from the top of the glass, taking it into her mouth with her tongue and tugging gently on the stem with her teeth. She sat quietly for a little while drinking the tart drink through the straw. Out of the corner of her eye she watched Eric, talking to some of the other guys and occasionally watching the dancers on the stage. She knew he wasn't comfortable with all the girlfriends there, he thought they were all watching for some reaction that would make them jealous of the girls on the stage, though it never happened the group always had fun when the went to the club. It was always a turn on for her to watch the guys react to the dancers; it was also a turn on to know that the guys got turned on watching the dancers with their girlfriends. Anna got restless just thinking about it and nervously re-crossed her legs toward Eric and ran a hand up her fishnets. ** Eric caught movement out of the corner of his eye and watched as Anna crossed her legs in his direction and ran a hand up her fishnets. Instead of fighting the urge to touch her fishnet-clad legs, he reached over and rested his hand on her thigh, feeling her quake a little under his light touch. He locked eyes with her and gave a gentle squeeze on her leg as he felt her hand slide along his thigh. She made his heart race as she rubbed her hand up and down his thigh, getting dangerously close to his member in the process. Eric took a deep breath as she slid her hand up one last time before stopping. Taking her right hand and bringing it to the side of Eric's face she leaned in close to his ear and said, "you started it." Eric caught her hand before she could retract it and before she could move away he claimed her in a kiss. Breath taken, she gasped into his mouth. He moved his hand from her wrist and brought it to her face to bring her closer. Anna quickly responded to the kiss and deepened it; slipping her tongue past Eric's lips and feeling his react and respond to hers. While the kiss deepened, Eric tightened his hold on her leg his fingers digging into the crevice made by her crossed legs. In response she did the same to his making him moan into her mouth. Both preoccupied with one another they forgot about their friends next to them, as the passionately kissed. ** Karen nudged Jim as she watched Anna and Eric kissing next to them. Getting turned on a bit; she leaned into Jim's neck and started to nibble and suck on the sensitive parts, still trying to keep an eye on her friends. Jim reacted by turning his head so he could give some attention to his fiancé.
