This is my first submission, so I would like to have as much feedback as possible. And I hope you all like it. "Attention everyone. For those of you still awake, this is your captain speaking. I want to inform you all that we are fifteen minutes outside of the Long Beach Airport. I recommend buckling in, and thank you for flying with American Airlines." The Captain ended his spiel. Everyone around Vince started to throw away their trash and gather their things ready to get off. Vince just sat there taking deep shallow breaths. He was finally home after serving eleven months over in Afghanistan. Eleven months away from everything he loved including his home, his friends, and his wife had really taken a toll on him. Vince was supposed to be home earlier, but there was an incident that kept him gone two months longer; he hadn't had the means to contact anyone during his extended stay. That was all behind him now. He was about ten minutes away from holding his beloved wife in his arms. Vince wondered how Neveah changed or if she was exactly how he remembered. Their last conversation had been a brief and sad one; Neveah talked about wishing he was home and how she was always lonely because she didn't like being without him. She had even gone as far as to joke that it was his fault she was losing sleep every night. It had been the same way for Vince, impossible to sleep without her warm body lying in his arms. Vince had the unfortunate luck of getting a seat in the back of the plane. He waited anxiously in his seat as everyone in front of him took forever to gather their things in their sleepy haze. Walking out of the plane to the luggage carrousel, Vince passed plenty of little novelty stores that were still open despite it being after one in the morning. He didn't really notice any until out of the corner of his eye he caught the sight of a blue orchid in the window of a floral shop. It must have been his luck, considering how he always has to order them far in ahead whenever he buys them. He stopped in the little floral shop where he ordered an arrangement of blue orchids and white roses. As he walked, the scent tingled his nose; he couldn't wait to see the look on Neveah's face when she saw the arrangement he picked up. Vince kept imagining the smile that would cross her face when she saw him sans her favorite flowers. At the luggage carrousel it took some time for the workers to start getting all the luggage on the machine. Vince grabbed his camouflaged pack and exited the hovering crowd. He looked around for Neveah, but he didn't see her anywhere. Then he heard her voice, the sweet voice he'd known since sixth grade. He followed it to the other side, but the woman he saw didn't resemble his wife; or at least the back of her didn't. The Neveah he knew was always slightly plump with long braids hanging down her back. This woman wasn't fat or skinny she seemed to have curves everywhere. In place of the braids were tight brown ringlets that hung a few inches past her shoulder. Everything else about her was right though: her skin color, her height, the way she talked on the phone, even the shape of her butt; it was worth a try. * * * Damn, she was running late. It would take him some time to get off the plane but she had wanted to be there ahead of time. Neveah had wanted to check herself before seeing him again. The problem was, she hadn't expected the traffic to be that backed up heading into downtown at this time of night. Neveah had spent lots of time making sure she looked good when he came through the terminal. She had spent months working out hard and eating better, ensuring that her body was fit and tight compared to the chubby state he had left her in. When Neveah had been on her trail dying and wanting to stop, she just pictured the look on Vince's face when he walked through the terminal to see her slimmed down form. That's all it took for her to keep at her strict regimen. Vince would probably wonder what had happened to her braids as well. Even as little kids he had only seen Neveah in her long micro braids. For once she wore her natural brown ringlets out; they had spent all that time "hibernating" in her braid, and had grown all the way down to the middle of her back. Neveah wondered if Vince had changed at all during his time gone. He always came back a little more tan than usual, skin weathered from being in the heat, his body harder from all the weights he did while bored. She adjusted her shirt as she speed-walked across the terminals. She could see the American Airline symbol hanging over the baggage claim. She pulled her phone out off her pocket and dialed the first speed dial. She kept running, ignoring the stares of people who didn't get why she was running. Neveah looked through the crowd wondering where Vince was. He was so tall, she should have been able to see him over everyone. God, her heart was beating a mile a minute as she anticipated the sight of him. She bit down on her lip as she squeezed her way through the crowd. She couldn't find him. He wasn't answering his phone either. "He couldn't possibly be on the plane could he?" she asked herself. She walked out of the crowd looking at all the tall heads and again none of them were him. She sighed heavily and dialed his number again. She was so into looking for Vince she didn't feel the presence of someone towering behind her. "Hey babe," she spoke to the voicemail. "I'm not sure where you are. I had been running late, but I'm here now. And, I have looked everywhere and can't find you. If you can call me and let you know where you are that would be nice." Her voice sounded a little nervous. "I love you. I can't wait to see you." She hung up and hurriedly turned around, bumping into the brick wall of a man behind her. "I'm so sorry sir. I--," she noticed the Marine-issued boots. She blinked back the tears that burned her eyes as she scanned up until she was able to look at a pair of familiar green eyes. The squeal that had left her mouth couldn't have possibly been stopped. She wrapped her arms around his tall neck and pressed her mouth tightly against his, in the process squishing the beautiful arrangement that he had bought her. Vince didn't hesitate to kiss her back; he had felt so bad hearing how sad she sounded as she left the message on his dead cell phone. He had been nervous about seeing her the entire plane ride. Vince wanted his wife to still be in love with him. Over the course of being gone, he had heard so many stories about what wives did when their husbands were away. He just hoped that she hadn't fallen prey to anyone while he was gone. Like those other guys, they had their share of problems before he had left. That further ignited the little bit of doubt that was surging through Vince's mind. Holding Neveah in his arms was the most perfect feeling. It had been almost a full year since he was able to hold her, and it made his heart soar. He pulled away wanting to get a chance to really look at her. "Wow, sweetheart... you look... God! Nene, you look freaking fantastic!" His fingers cupped her slimmer face. Sure they Skyped when she didn't have a busy schedule, but with the quality of video they had, he was never able to see how much of a transformation there had been. She had been perfect before, but now he couldn't think of any words to describe how beautiful she was. His hand slipped down to the middle of her back. "You look so great. I like everything. You look beautiful Nene. I mean you're so slim now." He was now able to wrap his arm fully around her body. "I still have a long way to go. Thank you, though. You, on the other hand, look amazing." She stood on her tippy toes giving him a peck on the cheek. Neveah looked over his body. She forgot how tall he was. Vince was only four inches taller than she was, but with his arms wrapped around her she felt completely dwarfed. "No, you're amazing. I feel like you should have some model standing next to you." Neveah looked into his beautiful green eyes to make sure he really understood her. "I don't want a model. All I want is my hero. Let's go home," she said as she pulled him toward the exit door. Her eyes ran over his tan skin, and she couldn't get past how he looked. He was so tan, and he was a lot more ripped. He hadn't been lanky when he left the house, but there was a definite difference. All of a sudden a broad grin appeared over his face and he started laughing. She couldn't help but furrow her brow, like she always did when she was puzzled. "What's so funny?" She didn't attempt to keep the curiosity out of her voice. He wrapped his arms around her shoulder. "No, I was just thinking, 'Damn, you're home.' I mean I'm back home, I got my wifey on my arm," he told her before his full lips kissed her forehead. "Honestly, I'm not sure if it is possible to be any happier than I am right now. I am on cloud nine." She smiled too."That's great, babe." They were finally getting into the night air. Vince grabbed the keys that were hanging out of the back of her tight jeans. "Sorry, Nene." He looked at her apologetically," I miss driving you around everywhere." Before Vince had to be gone all the time he would drive her everywhere, just because she hated it so much. "That's fine. Trust me, I don't mind at all," she said as a slow smile graced her face. Vince couldn't resist those lips and found himself pulling her close to him. Her lips were so full and soft, almost like new pillows. His tongue traced her upper lip trying to part the two of them and gain entrance. "Mhm, Vince--Baby--Baby, Mhm," Neveah was finally able to pull away from his lips. "How about we wait till we get home for all of that." There was a mischievous glint in her eye he was all too familiar with. "Say no more." Vince walked to her door opened it, and bowed ever so dramatically, which just sent Neveah into a fit of giggles. The ride home in their old Corolla was nice and smooth. Everything was so much how it was before, when they were younger and Neveah was still in school. They rode through the curves and dips of the mountain. Most people are too scared to cut through the Ortega Highway, especially at this time of the night. There are no lights besides headlights, but taking the highway did cut thirty minutes out of their ride. The windows were down letting the breeze flit through her hair. Toward the end of the ride Neveah was getting sleepy, she slowly drooped off; she had had a long day. She worked till eleven, barely getting any sleep before getting home to pass out for an hour and get back up. When Vince finally pulled into their garage he grabbed his bag out of the back seat before opening the passenger door to sweep up his wife. He had to admit that before Neveah had been quite a bit on the heavy side, but with as much weight as she had lost, it wasn't a chore whatsoever to carry her up the stairs and lay her in their bed. He laid her down on the bed gazing at the way her hair lay out all over the pillow. Vince couldn't get over how beautiful she looked. He lifted her shirt off her body, maneuvering it around her arms. Before he had left, Neveah would have never worn anything remotely close to the skimpy bra that prettily held her goodies. He wanted to salivate looking at the black lace that encased the smooth peanut butter skin. 'Damn,' he thought wishing she hadn't fallen asleep. Vince wanted nothing more than to make love to the beauty who lay beneath him, but even in her sleep it was obvious how exhausted Neveah was; it was etched all over her face. Not wanting to be tempted more, Vince needed to undress her so she could be comfortable. He knew she needed some sleep . He easily slid her jeans off her slimmer, creamy-colored brown legs. That made it so much harder for Vince to stop ogling her, but he eventually had her under the covers. Vince went through the process of unbuckling and unlacing all the different straps of his uniform, hearing each part drop to the floor with a loud thud. A shower had never felt so deliciously good. The piping hot water reddened the surface of his skin with all the force it hit him with. Vince scrubbed his body feeling the rough surface of his new loofah wiping all the dirt and weariness from the long travel off his skin. He hopped out the shower feeling all refreshed and clean; it was a great feeling. He dried off his hair and body, throwing on a random pair of black underwear he saw Neveah had bought him. They fitted tight, outlining both the curve of his ass and the package in the front. Vince looked over himself in the mirror, his green eyes standing out against his tan. A few months home and that tan would be gone. Vince smiled at himself thinking about the course of the day, coming home in one piece, and seeing his beautiful wife. He was lucky, very lucky. He shut off the light to bathroom before walking back to the bedroom. He entered only to gaze at a sight better than the one he had left. * * * Neveah's body had no problem sleeping over the course of the trip home. Neveah's hands flew back working at her two clamps at the back of her bra. Her arms had gotten tangled slightly, but she was able to pull it off pretty easily. Her hands flowed down her body to her hips, where she pushed down the lacy bikini cut panties all the way to the ground. Despite the shortness of time, Neveah had some ideas of how to make it special. She took two of the orchids he had given her and she spread the petals over her eggshell comforter. She reached for her matching incense and candles setting those up around the room. Hearing the shower stop, Neveah posed on the bed knowing he wouldn't be long. Seeing the sight in front of him, his beauty lounged out over the bed, Vince couldn't help but lick his lips. Her chocolate nipples just seemed to call him to her. Vince shoved down his briefs in a hurry as he crossed the room. Neveah drew his face in close for a long kiss, her lips brushed across his then her tongue was snuck past his lips to stroke his. "Are you sure, Nene? Ten minutes ago you were passed out," he said as he pushed her back against the bed. "Yes I am. I just needed a power nap. Besides, I've waited almost a whole year to be with you. I'm not wasting any more time!" She lifted her head searching for his sweet lips again. "God I love you," he sighed. Vince held her wrists together and pressed them against the bed, up above her head. It raised her perky C cups for his eyes to feast upon. He took the little dark nipple of her right breast between his fingers and pulled on it until Neveah was moaning from pleasure. 'God I missed that sound.' Vince thought as he dipped down his head and took that little bud into his mouth. He could see her desire that had started to build up along her slit was now starting to drip down her thighs. Vince trailed his tongue over the sensitive bud, lightly flicking over it with a small amount of pressure. Neveah's teeth were in her bottom lip as she felt her hips bobbing up and down, searching for some sort of relief in her aching body. Vince knew exactly what Neveah wanted but he kept on teasing her body. He held tightly to her wrists as he placed one of his muscular thighs between her legs. With that, he returned to suckling her nipples, letting his fingers tracing circles around her dark areolas. Neveah's body squirmed underneath his massive form. She needed a release now. If he wasn't going to give it to her, she would take it. She pressed her wet slit tight against his thigh and moved her hips, rubbing her engorged clitoris against him. She pressed herself tighter as she felt the muscles of her mound tighten up. "Oh. Oh. Vince... please..." she attempted to beg him for more of his mouth. Then she finally came, but she didn't scream. Neveah's mouth flew open but no sound came out. She rubbed her clit on his thigh fell from beneath her body, her back arched, pressing her breast deeper into Vince's mouth. As Neveah lay there panting, Vince sat over her, a satisfied grin spread across his face. He leaned in and took a long deep kiss from her, leaving her even more breathless. "Watching you come should be a pastime. You're body is so reactive to every little touch." He trailed his finger over her slit which made her body shiver over and over. "Please. Stop. I'm still sensitive." "Oh really?" He put more pressure on the finger that rubbed her, and something that sounded close to a cat purring came out of her mouth. "Tell me, Nene, how long has it been since you came real hard like that?" He brushed his lips over her mound. Neveah just shook her head tiredly, not wanting to give an answer. She closed her eyes and gave a deep sigh of relaxation. Vince always had a way of making her body feel good. "Nope, you're not going to sleep yet. I have a little situation I need my nurse to fix first." Vince took his cock in his hand and rubbed it in between her wet lower lips. Before his deployment, Neveah had loved role-playing with him. "We can start your check up right away sir," she whispered with a soft giggle her eyes still resting. She tried to sit up underneath him ,but when her hips lifted off the bed her clit bumped against the head of his cock. She opened her eyes to look up at the hungry glare he had in his eyes. " We do need to make sure everything is working properly." Vince let out a short growl as he lined up his cock with her pussy; he couldn't help but power his cock deep inside of her all at once. He just had to feel her tight canal squeezing around his length. Neveah didn't mean to, but her nails grasped at his shoulders and back as he thrust into her. It had been almost a year since anything had been that deep inside of her and she was unprepared. Vince could feel the way her whole body seemed to still underneath him. He held still for a moment not wanting to hurt her. It was a moment before she relaxed her body and she constricted her muscles on his cock. Vince leaned in for soft kissing, hoping she was ready for him to continue. He slid out easily and drove his cock back in. This time he stayed in deep to savor the feeling of her muscles clamping down on him; he eased in and out of her tight pussy trying to get a rhythm going. Neveah lay underneath him, her head thrown back against the pillow, her eyes shut tightly and her mouth opened in a perfect O. Her legs were wrapped around his waist, trapping him in this position. Her arms wrapped their way around him and her fingers pressed into his back, her fingernails threatening to bite into his skin. Vince trailed his hands down to her waist so he could get a better hold onto her body. He shoved into her harder and harder, his cock pressing against her inner wall. At one point Neveah had been able to keep up with his thrusts, staying in time with him, but the way he moved in and out of her made it difficult. Vince felt her muscles really gripping him as if they didn't want to let his cock go. "You gonna scream for me sweetheart?" Vince laughed cockily as his hand shifted over her mound to her clit and rubbed it vigorously. Neveah legs twisted underneath him. The scream that built up in her throat was released as the dam broke and the waves of her orgasm crashed over her continuously. Vince marveled at the way her body shook as she came, but after a few seconds of her pussy squeezing him, he too felt the waves of an intense orgasm. He settled next to her not wanting to crush her body. "Wow," he whispered, pulled her over so she could lay on his chest. "I'm not sure if that's giving you enough credit. That was amazing. Indescribable!" She giggled as she let him roll her body onto his. Life's Little Curves Ch. 01 "That's good. Well you better get some rest I have eleven months worth of loving to make up for," he gave her ass a loud slap. Life's Little Curves Ch. 02 AN: This isn't a stand alone story, what's happening makes more sense if you have read the rest. Thank you for the positive reception you gave on the first chapter. It's going to be a few chapters before there's any sex again, but I promise to make it worth it. A big thank you to both GentWithHandcuffs and curi0us7r4n for all their help. I hope you enjoy. * Great. Vince had left a shoe in the middle of the hallway. Neveah found herself kicking her husband's shoe out of the way. Sure, it was partially her fault for thinking she could make it all the way to their room, in the dark, without hitting anything, but Vince was suppose to clean up today. Neveah found herself walking up the seventeen stairs, grunting every now and then from the soreness in her body. Finally arriving to her destination, she slowly slid open the creaky door to their bedroom, just to see their empty four poster bed. The sheets were still made up the same way from that morning. Damn it, she thought as she found herself throwing her backpack across the room. It clashed against the older oak vanity table on the other side of her bed. A tear slid down her cheek as her backpack laid on the ground. Neveah walked across the room sliding off her dirty scrubs. She dumped them in her laundry bag full of other pairs of dirty scrubs. Today had almost been an easy day for Neveah, there hadn't been anything too crazy for most of her shift. Working at the county hospital, her wages weren't the greatest, but she was one of the few who really enjoyed her job. With her job being in the emergency room, things were constantly going on. Tonight was the first night in a while where it was mostly quiet for her. It was a little after eleven when the hospital got a call that an ambulance was coming from a three car pileup . Neveah spent the next two hours keeping the seven patients that came in stable. Once a few were stable they were able to transfer them into rooms, so they could focus on the ones who were too unstable to transfer, yet. By the time she had pulled up into the garage of their two story condo, it was just after two in the morning, and she didn't feel like getting out of her car. But then she thought about Vince and her warm bed, and the decision wasn't so difficult for her to get out. That's how she ended up in front of her dresser changing into a camisole set, both exhausted and angry. Exhausted, because her shift had went longer than she thought it would. Angry, because Vince was laying around in a drunken coma somewhere. This would be the third time in two weeks that this had happened and she wasn't sure of what to do. She couldn't figure out what was the cause of all this. He had been home for almost seven months, and it seemed as if there wasn't any progress between them. Neveah knew there was problems between them, but she didn't know what they were, or how she could fix them. When Vince first came home things had moved smoothly between them. She would come home make dinner and he would sex her up like no other. It was a simple life, they both enjoyed the way things were, but after being home three months they decided he needed to get a job. The area they lived in was far too expensive for him to go on not working. He just needed a job where he could have the second Saturday of every month off. Unfortunately, months of searching had done nothing for them. By putting all his focus into finding a local job it seemed as if Vince started to neglect everything else. They hardly ever went out, the house was always dirty, and the sex seemed to have dropped on his list of priorities. With a sigh she turned toward the door, she caught her reflection in the full length mirror and looked over herself. Maybe it wasn't the stress of everything else going on that made him not touch her. Maybe Vince wasn't attracted to her anymore. She wasn't gorgeous, but she had always felt pretty enough. Pretty enough to catch Vince when they were twelve. Pretty enough for him to keep her around all these years. Thoughts of doubt start to pass through her head. She wiped the second tear to fall down her cheek tonight, before beginning her search for Vince. He was nowhere to be seen. He wasn't passed out on the balcony this time. He wasn't in the bathroom. He wasn't in the filthy kitchen, that he was suppose to clean over the course of yesterday. Vince was finally spotted. His sleeping form was on the couch while cuddling an empty bottle of whiskey. His face looked content in his sleep. Neveah was so tempted to leave him there on the couch, but deep down she knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep very well without him. She reached down shaking his arms and his body but he didn't budge one bit. She huffed thinking of what she could try next. * * * The soft voice in his ear had Vince grinning from ear to ear. His fingers reach out and pull the sweet voice's body into his. The only thoughts that passed his mind was how soft the creature was. Her skin was so nice and smooth. Vince dropped the bottle from his hands and wrapped his hands around her body. Vince had been waiting hours for Neveah to come home. When she didn't text him that she was on her way home, Vince automatically started running all these scenarios through his head. Various ones where she was cheating on him, that she had got in a horrible car accident; the list seemed to go on and on. Vince didn't feel that Neveah was struggling in his arms. In his drunken state, Vince just wanted to hold her close; he didn't realize he was squeezing her half to death. He just wanted to breathe in the her apple scent of her ringlets. Neveah poked his cheek hard with her pointer finger, startling Vince in his peaceful little world. It took him a few minutes to come to, but Vince soon realized he was nearly suffocating his wife against his chest. "I'm so sorry, baby," he slurred from his mouth. She could only glance at him with saddened eyes. It had been so long since he had used any term of endearment to refer to her. And when it finally happens he had to be drunk. Blinking back the tears she slowly unraveled his hold on her. "It's time for us to head on to bed," she said as she held her hand out. He smiled a dorky little smirk. The smirk would have made her heart stop had he been sober. Neveah hoped this didn't continue much longer; it was too much work for her to support her husband's heavy frame as they climbed up the stairs. It took them forever to walk up the stairs. Finally making it to the bed, Vince collapsed into the bed on top of the covers. He could only think about how warm and soft the hands that touched him were. Neveah forced him to roll over to her side of the bed, pull back the cover, rolled him back over, and then tuck him in. She went to the other side to climb into bed. The moment Neveah climbed under the covers Vince rolled over laying right behind her. Even his drunken stupor Vince needed to be close to her. He needed the heat from her body on his. There was nothing Vince wanted more than to wrap his arms around her body and bring her close, just like how he held her on the couch, minus the pushing and the hitting she had been doing. He settled for her not moving when he scooted in close. * * * Around ten, Neveah's alarm was going off, telling her that it was time to get up and get ready for her next shift. She groaned softly cringing, the last thing she wanted to do was get out of her warm bed. It was almost as if Vince sensed that she didn't want to get up, because she felt his arms tighten his hold around her middle, effectively pressing her back against his front. He pulled her tightly against his chest, his large hand splayed over the lower part of her belly, comfortably rubbing small little circles. She couldn't resist turning in his arm and laying her head on his chest. A broad smile spread across his cheeke as he pulled her closer. He rested his chin over the top of her head, one of his arm cushioning her head. His other hand rubbed over her back and shoulders he could feel the tension in her muscles. Vince felt horrible knowing that he was part of the reason she was so stressed. 'You can't even provide for your wife,' he felt the voice in his head admonishing him. 'Not yet, but one day she won't even have to lift a finger,' he countered himself. Vince would do everything in his power to make her feel better. Today he decided would be the first day that he would start back up his search for a job. Today he would do something to ease her strain. Ten minutes of just laying in each others' arms sure went by fast. The snooze on her alarm was going off, and Neveah didn't want to get out of bed. She groaned, not wanting to leave the warmth of her bed to start the day. She rolled out of his arms, but his fingers were reaching out grabbing for her, pulling her back. "Don't go, Neveah. Just stay home today. Everyone else is always calling in sick," he whispered softly in her ear. He knew they couldn't afford it, but she was oviously burned out. Vince wanted nothing more than to have her sit in his arms all day. Maybe they could watch a movie and just talk. He finally opened his eyes as he kept his hold on her. Neveah never took off from work, even when her birthday fell on a work day. "I can't. We need the money. I can't miss a shift right now. Maybe when we're caught up on everything," she sighed sitting up and shifting out of his arms. She walked out of the room needing to start her shower water. Vince had tried to sit up in bed, but he felt the pounding return to his head. Lying on his back was more comfortable, and it gave him a good view, as he watched Neveah running around the room gathering all her things. Vince's eyes gazed over her supple body as Neveah dropped her shorts to the floor and kicked them off her feet. He couldn't help but smile at the beautiful little show he was getting. He watched as she moved around her shapely bottom moving around as she reached for this and that. He could feel a stirring in his loins as he watched her. Feeling his constant gaze on her body, Neveah glanced back to see his smiling face. Vince looked her up and down her, the innocent look on her face making her even more attractive. She gathered up all her things, and ran into the bathroom, locking the door after she set her things down. Vince just chuckled and shook his head. She had been shy about her body when they first started sleeping together. It was obvious that even with all the changes in her figure she still wasn't confident with her new shape. It was evident in the way she acted, and the things she wore. The whole time she showered all she could think about was how he was looking at her. Neveah couldn't tell if it was a look of desire or amusement. When she had reached to take off her shirt, his eyes had seared her body with his gaze. It had been weeks since he had looked at her like that, and she noticed, three months on top of that since they had sex. She shook the thought from her head. there was so much more that she needed to worry about other than that. Deep down Neveah knew that it was just amusement. He couldn't possibly be attracted to her; one day he would be though. She had gained a little bit of weight when he came home, but now she was back on track with her weight loss plan. In the bedroom, Vince was getting tired of waiting for her to reappear. He decided to finally get out of bed. The show was over. He grabbed at his head at the slight ache in the back of his eyes. God. Did he really drink that much last night? It wasn't even a large bottle, and he knew damn well he wasn't losing his touch. He went to the kitchen, and was kinda stunned seeing it in the light. The kitchen was filthy. He could see what she had been angry about. He was home all day, every day, and he couldn't even manage to keep the house clean. At that moment he decided that would be the other thing he would do today, he would make a difference in the house appearance. * * * Dressed, teeth brushed, and hair up in a ponytail, Neveah looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn't help but feel self-conscious as she looked over herself. She still found herself thinking about the way he let his eyes follow her. Despite how much she worked, she still maintained her peanut butter brown skin. it lacked any dark spots or any blemishes. Her sleepy chocolate eyes had a natural light to them, and her lips were slightly full. She ran a frozen Q-tip under her eyes hoping it would soothe all the puffiness caused by last night's events. Walking into their room to grab her shoes, Neveah saw the picture of them. Vince's dark hair was swept back, the white teeth of his smile standing out against his coppery tan skin. She was a size eighteen and Vince had very little muscle definition in the picture. They both changed so much since that day seven years ago. He looked so happy, his smile spread across his square chin, his cheeks red from all the smiling he had done. What really caught her eyes was the two emeralds that stared out at the camera lens. Overall, Vince looked so happy. She wished he could make him feel like that now. Grabbing her backpack from its spot on the floor she filed out into the hall, smelling a waft of coffee coming from down stairs. In the kitchen, Vince had made the room up in the short time she had took to get ready for work. He had loaded the dishwasher, swept the floor, and filled her a cup of coffee the way she liked. His back was turned to her as she came in through the door. He smiled at her his eyes looking over her pretty face. "Good morning. I- I started getting your lunch together so you wouldn't have to do it," he said as he opened her backpack to put her sandwich and other goodies in. "I also wanted to talk to you about some things." Neveah hadn't been looking at him, but her head snapped out when he said he wanted to talk to her. She looked scared and that was the last thing that he wanted her to feel. His first action was to pull her close to him. His hands reached out for her, but she would not budge. Vince couldn't help the sigh that passed his lips. "Listen, I know you've been really stressed lately. Your hours just changed and you just applied for the Head Nurse position, but I want you to know that I really want to try. I want to try to make everything better for us. you shouldn't have to work as hard as you do. If we wouldn't have moved you would barely be working, but this is a better neighborhood, and we're going to make this work. I promise you that today I'm really going to be looking for a job, and everything is going to get better for us soon. I promise you," He didn't know what else to say besides what he was feeling deep down in his heart. He just hoped it was enough for her. Tears tickled the rim of her eyes. she could only look at him with sad eyes. She could only hope that he would do what he said. "Thank you," she whispered quietly grabbing her things. She stood on her toes to kiss his cheek. "Have a good day," she said giving him one last look. * * * 'Thank you for the coffee it was great :)', popped over Vince's phone about thirty minutes later. At least he was able to do something right. But in a way it wasn't fair. She had drank their coffee the same way since they were back in high school studying for finals and midterms. Vince did a lot of cleaning around the house, he wanted to do all he could to make up for his behavior as of lately.Vince finished the kitchen, knowing that it was one of the main rooms that needed to be clean. The living room was no big deal to clean up. Still, there was things that needed to be picked up all around the house. He washed her bag full of scrubs and hung them in the closet. In between the loads, Vince filled out some applications online, emailed a few managers, and faxed a few resumes, in hope it would be enough. When he finally started looking at the job section of the newspaper he realized he wasn't capable of doing much of anything. Almost every position needed some sort of training or degree. Training wouldn't be so bad if they could afford it, but paying for any kind of training was out of their budget. And, well, the degree couldn't be helped. School had never been his thing. Vince had dropped out of school to start working, and eventually went into the Marines to be able to afford school for Neveah. This wasn't the first time that Vince tried to look since he came home. He just happened to be more motivated. Neveah has been acting differently lately and he knew it mainly had to do with all the long hours, and the way thing have been going between them. No sex for three months and she hadn't uttered I love you in about the same length of time. Vince came back thinking that things were going to be amazing. He thought that all the problems they had before would just fade away. He wasn't sure why, but he came home with that mentality, and so far it had only given him a wife that wouldn't be affectionate with him. Was he really the problem? Was it money? He wasn't sure, but he was afraid talking about it would only make it worse. Somehow he would a find a way to make it work. He couldn't take anymore of waiting for her to leave so he could get off in the shower. Vince was just at a loss for what to do. At least the house was virtually spotless, and he had tried every job source he could think of. He would try again tomorrow and the day after that and every day until he was able to make her happy again. * * * Walking in the door she heard a bunch of sizzling and the smell of sautéed vegetables cooking. She smiled looking around at how clean the house was. Vince definitely had did some work today. She couldn't imagine a better home to come to. Walking into the kitchen Neveah couldn't imagine what woman wouldn't want to come home to a clean home and someone cooking her dinner. Putting her stuff down she waltzed into the kitchen where Vince was over the stove cooking turkey burgers. "Hey you," Vince had heard her come through the door. "How was your day?" He turned to get just quick glimpse of her. "My day went pretty okay. Nothing too bad. I want to thank you for my lunch, though. It was quite delicious. "How was your day?" she asked as she went over to really see what he was up to. As she came in close, she smiled as she breathed in the different scents coming from the stove. Vince had a skillet full of vegetables cooking, and on the griddle four large patties were cooking. He watched Nene pick up a spatula and flip the burgers over to check how cooked the other side was. "Well, as you saw, I did some cleaning up. I even washed most of your scrubs for you and hung them up." She looked a little shock that he had been so thorough. "Wow, you didn't have to do that on top of everything else you did--" "Shhh. I promise you that it was more than fine. I want to be able to help you out." She smiled at him obviously impressed with the progress he made today. She quickly turned to get plates out of the cabinet. Vince couldn't help but be happy with his progress today, and she was in a good mood. things seem to be going his way. "I couldn't really find any job posting today. I mean I've put in application at all the local food places, and they keep those for a few months. Everything else requires at least an associate's degree, or paying for some training that we can't really afford." Vince couldn't look her in the face as he explained it all to her, but he knew it was better to just come straight out with it. "I promise you I really did try to look. Don't worry I'm not going to stop trying. " "I know you really did try and I can't ask for anything else," she assured him as they both start to make up their burgers. Life's Little Curves Ch. 02 Vince made two big burgers piled high with sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese, and spinach. Neveah on the other hand took one of the thinner patties putting mushrooms on top and a small side of spinach on the side. Vince noticed how little there was on her plate and the fact that she didn't have any bread even when they were pita buns. He didn't say anything. She was in good mood, and he didn't want to say anything that could potentially ruin the mood. If he remembered correctly, before he left her plate would have had bread or maybe some cheese on it. Looking over her plate he dismissed the thought. With all the working out , working at the hospital, and it being late her appetite was probably starting to shrink. Being as late as it was, Neveah went off to their room when she finished eating, and Vince filled up the dishwasher. When Vince finally came up to bed, Neveah was under the warm covers thinking about her day. Her eyes opened wide as she watched him come into the room. His shirt had been discarded sometime in course from the kitchen to their room. Her eyes looked over the hard ridges of his middle, and how even the simple task of walking and then moving the covers, seemed to make his biceps and triceps bulge. She tucked herself tighter into the blankets, as he slid in right next to her, under the sheets, on his side of the bed. Vince flipped off his lamp and turned to face her. He saw her breath pick up as he watched her. Vince sat on his elbow watching the rise and fall of her breast. He bit his lip as he watched in amusement Neveah trying to control her emotions. "Good night," he chuckled softly as he scooted himself closer to her. Neveah turned to her side, facing away from him, but in the process she had scooted herself close to him, to the point she could feel the heat from his body on her back. "See you in the morning," she whispered softly before closing her eyes shut. * * * AN: I hope you all enjoyed. The semester just started, and I do play a sport, so please be patient with me and how often I post. Do vote and leave a comment!!!! Life's Little Curves Ch. 03 AN: Hello darlings, this isn't a stand alone story, what's happening makes more sense if you have read the previous chapter Thank you for the positive reception you gave on both the first and second chapters. Because of all your support chapter one is over twelve thousand views. Like I mentioned before it's going to be a few chapters before there's any sex again, but I promise to make it worth it. A big thank you to both GentWithHandcuffs and curi0us7r4n for all their help. I hope you enjoy. Neveah was washing her hands when she heard a loud groaning coming from the bedroom. She dried her hands, her brow furrowed. She stood in the door watching Vince in his sleep. The sight made her heart ache with grief. There was sweat building up on his brow, as his legs twisted in the sheets. It was almost as if he was pulling away from something. Neveah knew from experience, it was best not to wake him up in the middle, but she couldn't stand sitting there watching him suffer. She went back to the bathroom to get a warm wash towel for his face. The longer the nightmare went on, the more worried she became . All she wanted to do was reach out for him, and take away all the bad feelings. It was a few minutes before he woke up with a gasp, clutching the sheets to his body as he shot up in bed. She slowly moved toward him not wanting to startle him when he was already on edge. As she reached out to touch him, he shook his head and shrugged away from her. She reached out after him as he left the bed. He ran into the bathroom where he threw up everything into the toilet. Neveah kneeled next to him wiping the warm cloth over his face and the back of his neck. It had been about two weeks since his last nightmare; this one had caught her so off guard. Everytime, without fail, she tried to talk to him about what he saw, but he always denied her. It had all felt so real to him. He was chained to the wall again, instead of laying close to Neveah. He was no longer laying against his soft bed, but covered by a blanket of hot humid air. Someone had covered his eyes with a thick rough material. He could still hear them all around him. His stomach emptied the contents in the toilet. Even after his stomach was empty, he could feel the discomfort throughout his body as memories plagued him. Vince pulled himself away from those memories as he felt arms wrap their way around him and soft hands rubbing his back soothingly. Her touch did the trick of slowly bringing him back to the present. He looked around the bathroom remembering where he was. Neveah pulled him off the floor so he could brush his teeth and get some mouth wash. She walked him back to the bed and laid on his chest wrapping her body around him. "Do you want to talk about it?" she whispered, ever so softly. He shook his heads and closed his eyes with a loud sigh. Despite how clear the memories were, he just wanted them gone. He didn't think talking about them would help. "Fine." She lay on her back, her body rolling off of his. She just wanted to help. He never let her in. He always acted as if he could handle everything on his own. "Don't go," he whispered pulling her warm body back to him. Vince pulled her tight, nuzzling her neck. He took in that sweet innocent smell of apples that always seemed to calm him. Nothing comforted him more than having her near him. He needed to have her warm soft body on his. "I can't talk to you about this, at least not yet. I just need you to be here with me right now." His hands wrapped around her back pulling her body on top of his. She gave in, laying her head on his chest. "Just be here and let me hold you," he whispered as he breathed in her sweet scent. "I will." She attempted to hide the hurt in her voice. Vince knew her all too well. He heard how her voice almost cracked, and the sniffles that followed after. "I promise you that when I can talk about it you will be the first person I tell everything to." He squeezed her gently. Vince really didn't want to talk about it to anyone, but he knew a time would come when he wouldn't be able to hold it in anymore. He just hoped when that moment happened she would still be there for him, waiting patiently. No response came from her. Neveah just laid on his chest listening to the calming of his heart beat. **** Their days continued like that. Vince would cook for her and clean the house, but finding a job was hard. That didn't seem to sway him though. He went out there every day looking, but that wouldn't make the bills stop rolling in. It's not as if they lived a lavish lifestyle, but the area they chose to live in had a high cost of living. There were plenty of times where the fridge wasn't completely full, or that the cars were operating below the empty level, but they had to do what they could to survive. He did a decent job of helping around the house, but at the same time it seemed as if Neveah was becoming more and more distant. She worked crazy hours, but on top of it whenever she was home she wanted to go for a run or do a workout. Between worrying about Neveah, and having to deal with his nightmares, it was all becoming too much. Vince just wished they could talk about it all, but he wasn't sure if he was ready to reveal something like that to her. Vince wasn't sure if he could expose her to something like that. Sure she saw some terrible things at the hospital, but he couldn't pull her into the hell of a world that he experienced while away. He was waiting for her to come home as all these thoughts pondered him. They seemed to hardly go out; but they were always together. When they did go out it was always as a couple, and those times were rare considering Neveah was always tired. She would watch movies with him, but things were not the same and both of them knew it. When she finally walked in through the front door she loudly clambered through the house till he heard her stomp upstairs and the door to their bedroom slam. Neveah was never one to throw a tantrum about anything. Vince couldn't think of anything right away that would make her act out. Vince turned off the stove having a feeling that he was going to be gone for some time. He walked up the stairs slowly. Their door creaking its way open as he curved around the corner to check on her. She lay face down on the bed. it didn't even look as if she was breathing. Vince sat next to her on the bed, his hands rubbing small soothing circles on her lower back. The crying started slowly then it became full on soft sobs. Her body shook even though he could barely hear her cry. He turned her onto her back, but she wouldn't open her eyes. He wiped the tear off her face. He leaned in kissing both of her tear stained cheeks. First on her right cheek, then the left one. His lips slid down to hers. he only pressed them against hers lightly. Feeling no resistance from her part he built up a little courage and let his tongue slip out between her lips. His tongue ran across her lower lip. he reached out nibbling on it. Despite the moan that she let slipped out of her mouth, Neveah placed her hands on his chest and pushed his weight off of her. He pulled away from her and looked over her face. she was definitely sorry. "I'm sorry. I couldn't think of another way to calm you down," he leaned in kissing the corner of her mouth. Her lips tasted so sweet he almost couldn't resist her lips. He dipped down for a moment brushing his lips across her jaw line. "So now that you have calmed down, why don't you tell me what happened that made you storm through the house like that." She hid her watery eyes behind her arm as she sighed loudly. "Tell me this. What causes people to be so cruel and awful? Why do people feel the need to cause others pain, especially the ones who are so innocent?" her teary brown eyes tugged at his heart string. Neveah had came home before telling him of the crazy stories behind the people who came through the emergency room. Some stories made her left, there had been a few that made her cry, but none them had this kind of effect on her. "Because people are cruel and sick. They prey on those weaker than them; people who can't protect themselves." She sniffled, but the tears kept falling down her cheeks. Vince tried to brush them away. "maybe if you talk about it some then maybe you would feel better." he didn't realize the irony of asking her to talk about something, when he couldn't tell her about the things going on in his head. "She was just a little kid. "I mean, she has the body of someone older, but looking at her face... you could tell she was just a child. that didn't seem to stop them. They completely destroyed her. Usually kids are sent to the children's hospital, but she was in such critical condition they had to admit her. She had been raped in both orifices, both of them completely torn. On top of that, there were broken ribs, a broken wrist, and the concussion from being thrown around so much. It was just so awful," she sobbed as she started breaking down again. They couldn't save everyone, but the fact that they couldn't save this little girl had crushed everyones' soul. Telling that girl's parents that she'd been ripped away from them made it even worse. Through her tears she continued, "You wanna know how this poor little twelve-year-old died? When they broke her ribs, it pushed so that an edge pierced her lungs. She ended up dying from internal injuries, she had been so far gone when she had came in the chances of us saving her was slim." Neveah's body shook in his arms. Vince couldn't think of anything else to do but hold her close and let her cry. He couldn't imagine how that girl's family felt. All he could think about was how Neveah would have felt if he wouldn't hadn't came home all that time ago; if it would have been him who didn't make it. He pushed the thought away. he just needed to focus on the here and now, on making the woman in his arms happy again. The shuddering slowly subsided, and the tears stopped staining her face. There was still the slight sniffle every few moments, but she was definitely a lot more calm than she was moments before. Vince rubbed soothing circles over her back and kissed her forehead. Her breathing slowed and her body relaxed in his arms. Vince was just going to let her sleep all her pain away. * * * Neveah rolled out of his arms. She didn't want to wake him up, but she was excited that her day off had finally came, especially with the traumatic incident of yesterday. She needed a day off to get her emotions in check. The front of Vince was cold without her body pulled close to him. He reached out finding her wrist, and reached out pulling her close to him. A sharp squeal left her mouth as she fell back to the bed. She let him roll her body until she was back in his arms. "Now I'm warm," he chuckled playfully as he finally opened his sleepy eyes. "Thank you for last night. I was really feeling low. It's going to take me some time to get over it" "All you have to do is ask, sweetheart, and I'll be there for you. You should know that. Beside if I had needed you to do that, you wouldn't have even second guessed it." She just pulled herself closer to him in response. Vince wished she would talk more about how she was feeling. He had to know what was going on in this woman's head. it seemed like no matter what the situation was she would blank out on him, and leave him pondering the situation. "I don't know what you have planned for today, but I have another interview today. Tomorrow though, we can do anything your little heart desires," he told her. "I'm fine with that. "I was thinking about what to do today. Maybe I will make something extravagant for dinner . What were you thinking? I'm kinda open for anything, but I was possibly thinking about doing something with an Asian vibe?" "Why don't you make what you're in the mood for. Surprise me," he leaned in stealing a quick peck. It happened so quick all that Neveah could do was blink. Her eyes scanned over the smug look that dominated his face. He was on top of her his legs parting her own. His mouth found hers and pressed against her. His hands found her lean torso and started rubbing over her sides up to under her bust. Despite how good it felt to her all Neveah could think about was the fact his hands were touching her rolls and folds. They definitely weren't as big as they use to be, but she was still trying to lose the fifteen pounds she had gained since he came back. She felt his palms shift from their resting position up to her breast, where his palms rubbed over her bra cupping her breast through them. He felt her nipples poking through the thin material. His touch was gentle and good. She couldn't do it though. She didn't understand how he could even be attracted to her body. He deserved something better, when she was back on track he would get all the loving he deserved. The alarm on Vince's phone went off saving her from having to tell him no. He kissed her lips once more and rolled away. "After my interview I was going to hang out with Matt for awhile. He said I've been neglecting him," his deep chuckle filled the room. "Anyways I'm unsure of when I'm gonna get home. I will text you though." Neveah watched him get up and dress. She helped him fix his tie, and let him hug her before he was out the door. She wasn't too worried about him hanging out with Matt. Matt was a boy whose wife had him in check, so nothing too reckless would be going on. Some of Vince's other friends though, were just awful. She was just glad that most of the time he only wanted to hang out with Matt. Deciding it was time to start being productive, Neveah dragged herself from the comforts of her bed. She threw on some jeans and a random shirt to head to the grocery store. She needed a few things if she was going to make something good for dinner. **** The interview didn't go very well at all. He tried to appear confident and capable, but he was sure everyone around him had better credentials than he did. He texted Matt that he was on his way to Tyler's bar. Whenever they did have the chance to hang out, they tended to hang out there. The three were all friends, having all gone to the same school since kindergarten. They were also in his wedding four years ago. He could count on them to always be there for him when he needed them. Tyler was there to greet him when he walked through the door. "Hey man, so how did the interview end up going?" Tyler asked. Vince just shook his head as he walked up to his friend giving him a clasp on the back. "It couldn't have possibly been that bad. "Hey look, when you get tired of looking around for a job, you know you can always come work for me I've been telling you that forever. I could use more people I trust around me-" "Yeah, right," Matt came to join them up at the bar. "If Neveah knew half the things you did, she wouldn't even let him out of the house if he mentioned your name." "Oh yeah. how's that overbearing possessive little wife of yours?" Tyler tried to joke, but all he got was a stone cold look from Vince. "Really? You're going to talk about my wife like that right in my face? Don't disrespect her just because you don't have a girl waiting for you every night like we do," he pointed his thumb back at himself and Matt. Tyler had always been the single friend. He was always spouting shit about not needing a girl, and that he didn't need love. No, all Tyler needed was a warm tight pussy to fuck. His sappy best friends had thrown the towel in early in life. Mark was twenty four when he married Christina; Vince was barely twenty one when he and Neveah got hitched. Like the dutiful friend he was, Tyler was in both weddings. He also made sure they both had got equally fucked up the nights of their bachelor parties. "Yeah," Matt always had to have his input in no matter the subject. "When you going to finally decide to settle down? You're starting to get some grey if I'm not mistaken." He was able to get a laugh out Vince. "Y'all might as well stop trying now. You should know by now that this pimp daddy right here ain't never gonna stop chasing tail," the smirk was broad across his face as he signaled a bartender in a really tight shirt to come fill their drinks back up. "Man, Matt, I just don't know what to do with this fool," Vince loved being around his friends. They always made things easier. "Stop worrying about me. How about you come on to the back and get on to this game of poker we are getting ready to start?" "Not me. I left late and my lunch break is already almost over. I'm about to head back to the office. I just wanted to stop by and say hello. You guys have fun though. Don't do anything that would make Neveah kick your ass," Mark started to gather his things, before checking his watch. Yep, it was definitely time to be out. With a quick hug from both his brothers he was out. "Looks like it's just me and you, goody two shoes," Tyler smiled. Maybe with Matt gone he could actually talk Vince into working for him. He knew that Vince could really use the income. "Hell yeah, ain't got nothing better to do,' Vince gave him a smile. * * * He walked into the sweet smell that seemed to fill every corner of the house. He followed the scent till he was in the kitchen. "You're so great at texting," the sarcasm in her voice was like a knife being hurled at him. "Sorry. I didn't text you because I was coming home early." Vince hated how when she was angry she wouldn't just say how she felt. Instead her energy just seemed shoot daggers at him. "You know it's really annoying how you do that. refusing to answer me or just randomly dropping the conversation. Look. I'm sorry I didn't text you. " She glared at him before passing him and setting the table. "Well, since you're not doing any talking I'll just do it for you. I don't think I'm going to get a response back on the job," he waited for her response. "Well, we shouldn't dwell on the bad things. Let's just go on and eat dinner." "Even though I didn't get that job. I will be able to contribute a little something, at least for the bills this week," he said as he fished the crisp cash out of his pocket. She looked up at him her eyes filled with questions and uncertainty, "Where did you get this money?" "Tyler got tired of hearing about bad job interviews so he gave me a job. I'm his new go to man and bodyguard." "I thought you said you went to go hang out with Matt. You know I hate h--" "I did go to hang out with Mark on his lunch break. But honestly, sweetheart, where else would we go to hang out besides Tyler's? I mean we get free food and drinks as soon as we step in the bar. Right about now free sounds hella good," he stared down at his little wife. For once he was not appreciating that sassiness of hers. Neveah couldn't really say anything to him she just shook her head and turned toward the table. "I thought you were cool with Tyler," they had all been friends for the longest time. "I am cool with Tyler. In fact I think he a smart, kind, and a loyal friend, but with all he does I don't want you to be so involved with him. I mean I don't know what exactly he does, but I'm not stupid. I know that behind all the stores and restaurants he's doing illegal stuff. And so what if he doesn't going around shooting people up like the others in town, but plenty of people who allegedly work for him have ended up in my e.r.," Neveah knew more than people like to give her credit for. Vince couldn't give her a response. She sat down in her seat and waited for him to join her. They ate for ten minutes straight with no conversation. The tension between them was so strained. Life's Little Curves Ch. 03 "What wrong with you. I know you said all that about Tyler, but that's not all. You were really mad before I even mentioned anything about Tyler. It's not like you text me everytime your gone for a long time, " he looked at her, his eyes accusing her. "What do you mean what's wrong with me--" "That attitude of yours. I mean, hell Neveah, I'm trying like crazy to please you. What am I doing wrong? It's like every time that I try to get closer to you again, you go and find some other way to push me away. I've been trying for months, with all my might, to get a job so I can help provide for this household, the second that I can bring money in this house you find another thing to bitch about." "I'm the one who's pushing away? I don't think so. You can't even open up to me. And excuse me for wanting my husband to have a legitimate job. I know we can't afford any sort of training, but there has to be another option for you. Do you think I'm stupid? It's like I said earlier. I love Tyler he's such a great person. The reason I don't want you to hang out with him is because, I know all about Tyler and that he has his illegal side businesses "That's my problem--" "The thing is, it's not just your problem,"Neveah interrupted her. " When someone in a relationship has a problem, then both people in that relationship have a problem. They're then supposed to work together to fixed those problems." Neveah started crying and it made Vince feel like shit watching the tears fall down her face, but she wasn't done yet, "There will be another job opportunity, eventually. I can't let you do this. I don't want us to be a tragedy, because Tyler accidently screws up on a deal or you piss off the wrong people. I just went a whole year without you, I'm not going to lose you forever." That's what all this about. Vince couldn't understand why she would be scared. Who wasn't scared about losing the person they care for more than anything. "No one ever said anything about you losing me. These situations don't always end like that. Especially, when your bestfriend is the one running it all. I promise you it is only temporary, till we are completely back on our feet, maybe just a little bit saved up. That's it. I promise you" As much as she wanted to believe him, Neveah was smart to realize how crazy this idea of his was. If it worked out, everything could be great. If not they could potentially lose everything they had worked for, and possibly each other . "Do what you have to do," she turned away from him. He reached for her hand, greatly surprised when she didn't pull away from him. "I love you with everything inside my being, and I will do whatever it takes to make you happy. I promise you that I won't stop until I do. I know you don't approve of me working with Tyler, but we need money. And, I know that having some money would make things easier on us," he kissed her soft cheek before gathering all their dishes. Vince would accept defeat for tonight, but he would never stop trying to make things better. I hope you enjoyed this segmen. Please vote, but especially leave comments. I can only get better if I get feedback. So, until next time. Life's Little Curves Ch. 04 Hello readers, Like I said before I have a lot going on between school and competition, so it will be awhile before the next chapter comes up. I have started at least. I hope you all enjoy. * * * Even though her alarm wasn't blaring in her ear, Neveah couldn't make herself stay asleep. All the emotions from the past few days were weighing down heavily on her making sleep almost impossible. Neveah shifted in Vince's arms and he didn't even stir. She slowly unwrapped his arm from around her waist, and quietly slipped out of the bed as to not make any noises. She quickly changed and grabbed her running shoes. Her best running times were usually before it was too hot, and she wanted to beat her goal of thirty minutes. The gravel layered trail was a three mile trek. There was one point when it took Neveah almost an hour to run the whole trail and make her way back home. She would get so tired from all the slight hills that she would have to stop and walk till she caught her breath. Now that she had conditioned her body, she was running the course in 30, almost 31, minutes. Neveah loved running on the trail. Both sides of the track were shaded by large palm trees that towered several feet above her head. She ran, forming a steady pace toward her time goal, while bumping to the beat of Ne-Yo. It was too beautiful of a morning. The sun was rising up over the edge of the houses and trees, an occasional rabbit scampered along in the bushes, and there were no dogs barking at her as she ran along. It was just Neveah. If she had been an artist this would be the scene she painted. By the time she was coming around the corner to their home her wrist watch alerted her that it had been twenty-seven minutes. She ran the last couple of hundred yards with all her might. She could feel her heart thumping in her in her chest as her feet pounded on the pavement. She honestly felt as if her heart would burst up out of her chest. Coming up to the porch starting to cheer, she had finally beat twenty-nine minutes. Sure she was close to dying on the steps of their condo, but this truly was a monumental moment in Neveah's process of getting healthy. Neveah wasn't sure if the burn she felt from working out or the satisfaction that came from finally beating her time was better. Whatever it was, it made the feeling of satisfaction and triumph just ooze out of her. *** Vince reached out his arm feeling the empty spot where Neveah should have been. His eyes shot open with fear. 'Where was she?' 'Was she still mad about the way things had ended last night?' Vince had thought their conversation would have eased her mind some. Looking around the room, he could see all her stuff was still in the room. It wasn't like she packed she went off somewhere. It was after fights like the one they had the night before, that he thought one day she would pack up and leave him. These thoughts that haunted him were weird considering the way their conversation had gone the previous night before. She was afraid of losing him forever. He would have never thought she felt that way. She never expressed feeling like that before. "Well enough dawdling," he told himself as he crawled from beneath the warm comforter. Since she left their bed, he would have to go out and find her. Vince went to his dresser and pulled out a pair of comfortable basketball shorts along with a black wife beater. Neveah was nowhere to be found in the house. Despite being the intelligent woman that she was, Neveah left both her cell phone and her house keys. Her phone was on the kitchen counter, and her keys hanging on the hook by the front door. For her being such a smart woman, Vince didn't how she could leave her cell phone. As if accidents never happen. After working in ER for the last few years she should know that better than most, with all the stories she would tell him. Knowing she had went on a run, Vince decide he would go out and make sure she was okay, maybe even do a core workout with her. Opening the garage he could hear feet pacing across the porch, she must have already came back. He slowly came around the corner not wanting to startle her. "Hey, babe. How was your run?" She turned to him a smile spread across her face, "I beat my record time. I'm tired as hell, but I'm so happy," she was moving around with all this giddy energy. "Well, I came outside just to make sure that you were okay. You had left your phone and keys on the counter--" "Oh I'm sorry. Did you try to call or text me? Usually you don't wake up till after I get back from my run and do core, so I never have to worry about you. I don't like carrying too much stuff; I usually just have my iPod and my headphones, and that's it." As much as Vince wanted to get mad, he couldn't. With his new occupation, he couldn't have her walking around without her phone, or leaving the front door unlocked. "I want you to keep your cell phone with you at all times, and when you go on your jogs you are not to leave the house unlocked for any reason. Even if I'm at home doing whatever, or if you're awake walking around the house I want the door locked. It's just for your safety." Vince pulled her into his arms. Neveah wanted to push out of his arms, but she knew he needed her confirmation, so she stayed and just nodded her head. She let her head rested against his chest; her work out was starting to catch on to her. "Okay, come do a core workout with me, and then I can go pass out on the couch," she suggested since she really needed to finish her workout before her body cooled down and she started to get burned out. "Sure," Vince agreed as he reached for her hand and led her back into the garage. Vince really didn't want to talk about working out. There were so many other things he rather do with her besides lay out on the dusty garage door. * * * They did a core workout together, and by the time they had finished the regiment Neveah was to the point of wanting to pass out. She had ran so hard in her run today that she wanted to just be done. Despite the constant refusal from Neveah, Vince scooped her up and carried her to the living room couch. Neveah was laid out trying to catch her breath from that harsh finisher routine Vince had came up with. She sat gasping on the couch as he unlaced her shoes and slid off her sock. "You did such a good job out there. There were two or three times where I thought you might give up, but you kept up. I'm proud of you," he said as his hands reached out to capture a foot. He firmly gripped her ankle while rubbing over her insteps. Neveah had virtually no arches and after most strenuous activities, or whenever she had a long day she would have achy feet. She was constantly rubbing the soles of her feet with tennis balls to relieve the tension. She relaxed against the arm of the couch letting Vince help her relax. "I love the way your hands feel," she said as he switched feet she just sat and enjoyed his hands for the moment. "So do you have to head over to Tyler's soon? If so, you should probably go on and take a shower and get dressed. I would hate for you to be late for your first day." She didn't even attempt to keep the sarcasm out of her voice as she slowly pulled her legs out of hands and against her chest. Neveah was still conflicted on how to treat the situation. "Actually, Tyler figured that you would be taking this hard, being that you tried so hard to keep me away from him all this time. So, he said I can have today off, unless there is some sort of emergency. We can have some time if you need to take this all in. We can just stay home or maybe even watch a movie." '"No, I don't feel like staying in today. I think we should go out and do something. We haven't really been out besides Mark and Leanna's barbeque." "Well if you're feeling it, we could go to the park and have a nice picnic. I mean, that's only if you want to." Neveah could hear how nervous he was in his voice. She smiled on the inside that he would get all bothered about her. "I don't see any reason we can't do that. If you go make us lunch I can take a shower. We could be out of here in forty-five minutes." "That sounds great. I'll go make us some snacks." His hands abandoned her feet as he headed to the kitchen to see what goodies he could scramble up for them. Neveah walked up the stair, everything ached and hurt, but she knew the warm water of the shower would ease all her pain. After her shower she sat wrapped in her fluffy purple towel glancing around her closet for something to wear. Since she had lost weight, finding what to wear had become a daily challenge. All the clothes she had were too big and baggy, but they couldn't afford for her to buy clothes that fit. Plus, if she ended up losing even more weight then she would need to buy more clothes. Not having anything to wear was taking its toll on Neveah. "Wait," she thought to herself. "There is a sundress I could wear." Stina had recently gave her a red sundress just because she wanted her best friend to have something to wear. Grabbing the dress from the back of her side of the closet, Neveah slipped it on over her underclothes. Looking at herself in the full size mirror, her only thought was that the dress was almost too pretty to wear the park. She pulled the straps up her shoulders and tied the black sash that was around her waist. Now she had to fix up her stubborn hair. She simply ran some mousse through her natural ringlets and finger combed her curls until all the tangles were out. Neveah didn't even attempt to put any makeup on. She just applied a red tinted lip gloss to her full lips. Downstairs Vince grabbed a pair of jeans and a random black t-shirt out of the dryer. He had packed all of Neveah's favorite fruits and made them a few sandwiches. He even went and grabbed them a blanket. Everything was all ready; he only waited on his lovely lady. He was excited that they were going out by themselves. The only time they really got to relax together was when they were in bed. And even in that there was some tension. Hearing the light steps on the stair, Vince rounded the corner to check out the scene. His eyes hungrily ran over the form of his wife. She looked great dressed up in his favorite color, red. He had never seen this dress before. Wherever she had gotten it from, he sure was happy. The thigh-length sun dress fit snugly against her ample bust and flared out from there without hiding her new athletic frame. All her assets were displayed beautifully and Vince wasn't sure if he wanted to share the view with anyone else. "You look really beautiful, Nene. That dress was made for you." He decided to speak rather than sit there drooling over her. "You think so? I think maybe it shows too much skin," she asked as she gestured to her thighs and shoulders. Vince just shook his head. His wife hardly ever showed her shoulders or toned legs. "No, you look absolutely perfect, and we're leaving before you try to go change." Vince grabbed her hand and pulled her behind him through the house. They had gotten lucky today. There weren't a lot of people at the park, which allowed them to get a really good spot under a big shady tree. Vince spread a big patched up blanket on the grass. Neveah lounged out while she waited for him to unpack their bags of goodies. Seeing a container of plump red grapes, Neveah reached her hands out for the container, but right away Vince snatched it away. "Not yet," he said as he set out everything else. He motioned for her to come closer. After a slight hesitation, Neveah crawled across the blanket to sit right next to Vince. He leans up against the big tree trunk with all their food on the opposite side of his body from her, and out of reach. Neveah too leaned against the tree, their shoulders touching as she attempted relaxed. Vince opened the container of grapes, and pulled a few off the vine before he brought it to her mouth, but Neveah insisted on feeding herself rather than Vince doing the job. "Please, Princess, do this one little thing for me," he pleaded with her. Her stubborn brown eyes challenged his soft green ones. Green won out, as Neveah was starving and couldn't resist having a bite of her favorite fruit. They shared the grapes between each other, Vince feeding her. Then Vince pulled out a container of strawberries. He put the first berry to her lip, but instead of letting her eat it, he teased her, pulling it back every time she tried to bite into it. Neveah pulled on his wrist wanting just a bit of the berry. "Please," she said as her bottom lip was pouting in mock frustration. "Please what, Princess?" "Please oh mighty Vince. Feed me," she giggled softly. "I don't think you beg good enough," he said causing Neveah to furrow her brows. Vince sighed dramatically as he took a big bite into the berry, strawberry juice running down his chin. An idea sparked in his head. "I will feed you, if you lick the juice off my chin." The way she bit at her lower lip as she pondered his offer was just too sexy for Vince to handle. He leaned in close despite the fact Neveah had never given an answer. She hesitated for a moment, but then her tongue was sticking out to lick the bottom of his smooth chin catching the drops of juice before they ran off. She moved to pull away, but Vince's arms were around her waist, his lips lowering down to hers. She was pulled halfway into his lap, his hands groping her ass. She reached back behind her for his hands and moved them up her back where there was nothing extra for him to feel. Despite being uncomfortable with his roaming hands, his kisses were driving her crazy. His kisses felt like heaven on tap. It wasn't long though before his hands wanted to explore again. His hands roamed down her lower back to cup her ass and force her to fully straddle her lap. They must have been making quite a scene. Neveah didn't want anyone to see their display. She had never been one to be super lovey dovey in public, even when they were younger. "Vin-," Neveah tried saying, but he pulled her lips back to his when she tried to speak. Her hands pressed against his chest, but Vince took advantage of the space and let his kiss trail down to her neck, knowing how much she liked when he sucked on her neck. Even biting on her lip Neveah couldn't stop the moan that left her lips. Vince chuckled in between his kisses. He could see behind her and there was absolutely no one watching them. All there was behind her was straight sand and Blue Ocean. In fact the park was behind them, and the tree, being as big as it was, would block them from view. What he didn't know was that a big bouncing ball would come rolling pass them. Neveah used his temporary distraction as a chance to slide out of his lap. She picked up the large ball and glanced around looking for the child who lost their ball. Down from the jungle gym came two little three-year-olds; one was a boy, the other a girl. They looked as if they could be twins. They were both dressed in jean overalls; the girl wore a red shirt underneath hers while her brother wore a blue shirt. Both cuties ran toward the ball their brown curls shaking around their smiling faces. Neveah's heart lurched with excitement as they ran up to her for the ball. When they asked for the ball they even said please. These two were the cutest things on the planet. She walked back to Vince with a dopey smile on her face. They had talked about having kids several times in their relationship; with their financial situation it would be awhile before they could finally think about having a kid. Vince sighed as Neveah settled back into his side. It felt so comfortable having his arm wrapped around her body. "I saw how happy you were seeing those babies. I don't blame you though, they were freaking adorable," he whispered wondering what was on her mind. Instead of responding her body snuggled deeper into his arms, her head finding a resting place on his shoulder. "I remember when were in high school and we use to sneak out the house to come out here and walk on the beach." Those were the days when everything had been simple for them. "Of course I remember Grandma tanned my ass the few times she caught me. Knowing that I would see you the next day made it all worth it," she laughed thinking about old times. "Do you remember all those things we talked about? Do you remember how we talked about the future?" Vince asked her. "How we talked about starting a family and growing old together? Sure, we were just kids then, but everything we said we can finally make it a reality. " "What do you mean everything will finally happen?" "What I mean is that, even though you don't agree about me working with Tyler it really is a great opportunity. I have everything all planned out. Every time I get paid we'll put the part of the money into a saving account and the other part we'll keep. Then we'll be able to pay our bills every month, on time. We'll save enough so that we're okay for a few months, and then I'll be out for good." "While that plan sounds like its foolproof, we don't know how things are going to be in the future? What if things go-?" Vince covered her lips with a finger. He didn't want to hear her stress about the situation anymore; she would have gone crazy if he just let her think about all the what ifs. "All I want you to do is worry about this walk we're getting ready to go on." He leaned in to get a quick peck on her cheek. His lips lingered by her ear for a moment. "So you go swing or find something to do while I load up all our things. Then we can take a little walk along the shoreline." "Okay," she whispered standing up and smoothing the wrinkles out of her skirt. "Are you sure you don't need any help?" "I promise you I don't. So get." He gave her pert behind a smack in the direction of the park. Vince grabbed all their things and sauntered past his swinging wife to the car. Since they would be far from the car, Vince made sure to grab his cell phone in case he needed to check the time. "Actually what time was it?" he thought as reached for him pocket to check the time. He had a text from Tyler. This one time he would ignore the text and if there were an issue he would explain that he just didn't hear his phone on their date. Tyler had given him the day to settle things with Neveah, and knew they were going out tonight. Now it was time to get on with his date. *** The feel of the sand felt great in her toes. Neveah had been swinging when Vince had walked off to the car, but he had took such an awful long time putting things back. So, she walked off to the beach without him. It was such a breezy overcast day at the beach. People out of the area always assumed that a beach couldn't be anything besides sunny, but if any resident of SoCal was asked, they could tell you differently. Today was great for Neveah, she had beat her trail time, had a delicious lunch with her husband, and now they still have plenty of time left in the day to do things together. She looked picture perfect. Her ringlets flowed in the wind, her skin was brown creamy perfection, and her legs in that dress seemed to stretch on forever and ever. Vince slowly tiptoed in the sand praying that she wouldn't turn around. When he got close enough he reached out and pulled her body tight against him. She screamed. her heart was racing in her chest, "What on earth were you thinking? You scared me," she barely breathed out. He smiled and wrapped himself tighter around her. "Did I now?" Neveah could hear the smile in his voice. "Despite you trying to scare me, I have had a wonderful time with you today," she turned in his arms and rested her head on his chest. Life's Little Curves Ch. 04 "Really?" he asked. He was having fun, but he wasn't so sure that she had been having fun. "We never really spend time together alone. I mean occasionally we'll watch a movie, but with me working it seems like we never have time." "Actually what I was thinking in the next few weeks you wouldn't have to be working as much. With us having another income, as well with it being pretty sizeable you can take less shifts at the hospital. This means we can have more time to do more stuff together." "I would like having more time to spend together." Just wanting to be close to her, Vince wrapped his arms around her shoulder. The fact that Neveah snuggled up into him made it even better. They walked comfortably along the shore for quite some time, until Vince's phone started to ring. "Damn," Vince looked down at the caller I.D. seeing that it was Tyler. "Shit. baby, It's Tyler. I told him this morning we had plans today so it must be awfully important if he's calling." "It's fine," she sighed having a feeling that answering was going to put an end to all their fun. "Hey Tyler... Actually Neveah and I are just hanging out at the beach... Sure I can be there in about thirty minutes. Just let me take Neveah home and change into something more appropriate... Alrighty," he ended the call. "I'm sorry that we have to end everything but I guess the deal for tomorrow got pushed up to today. So, Tyler has to be in L.A. tonight and he wants me to go with him." "That's fine." She hugged him tighter. She wanted so much to tell him to stay, but who knew how much money he would make tonight going with Tyler. They drove home in silence. The pleasant mood between them had been killed the second he answered the phone. She sat on the bed watching him dress. He pulled the tag off a new pair of dark wash jeans that had obviously been bought for his first day. He grabbed a clean white v neck out his drawer and pulled it over his muscular frame. Then finally he grabbed the light grey blazer that fit him perfectly. Neveah crawled off the bed to fix his caller. "You look absolutely scrumptious," the teasing smile on her lips didn't reach her eyes. In her eyes Vince saw nothing but sadness and worry. "You don't have to worry about me, "he whispered. "In my head I know that worrying isn't going to help, but my heart begs to differ." "I promise you I will somehow make this up to you--," the horn of someone's car was belting outside, seconds later Vince's phone was ringing. "I guess this must be a really big deal if he came to come get me. Why don't you walk me to the door so I can make sure you lock it?" She only nodded her head. She looked so sad, if only he had enough time to stay and make her feel better. Neveah stood at the door watching Vince hop in front passenger seat next to Tyler. Tyler smiled and waved as they peeled away from the driveway. "Sorry about your little date. How did it go?" Tyler turned down the music. He didn't need it to entertain him with Vince in the car. "We worked out this morning, went to Lookout Beach. First we had a picnic on the park area, and then we walked on the beach for a little bit." "You guys have always done stuff like that. Why don't you guys ever go to a restaurant or somewhere nice? You know what? I'm going to do something for you guys. Next week I'm going out with this hot little piece I met at a party a few weeks ago. I think her name was Stephanie, something like that. Anyway, I know you guys don't get out much so you guys can join us." "I'm not sure that's a good idea. Neveah's been really health conscious lately and doesn't really like to eat out but a few places." "Hm. Well, there this new Japanese restaurant opening up downtown. It would be a piece of cake for me to get reservation, the owner owes me a favor," he winked. "To make it even better I will invite Matt. I'm sure all six of us would have a good time." "That sounds like a plan. I'm sure I could get Neveah to agree to that." "After this deal tonight you'll see what it means to eat like kings." * * * Neveah laid on the couch worrying about the things Tyler would make Vince do. She just hoped the things they got into weren't that bad. Needing to keep her hand and her mind better she decided to make something. During Vince's first tour she had taken up baking in his absence; it had unfortunately added to her weight gain in those few years. Now that she knew how to manage her body it only served as a hobby when she was exceedingly emotional. Not even baked goods could keep her mind from wandering. She decided to call Christina, her best friend. She hoped that talking to her would finally put her mind at rest. "Stina?" Neveah asked as the ringing stopped. "Hey Neveah. How are you doing tonight, love?" Christina was forever calling everyone love, or well everyone except for Tyler. He was someone they both disliked greatly. "I'm doing okay. Just doing a little baking, waiting for Vince to come home." "Mark told me that Tyler had finally got his claws in him. I'm sorry; I know the last thing you wanted was for him to resort to hanging with Tyler on a daily basis." "We have no other option. Vince said this could solve all our problems but I'm not so sure anymore." "I can see where he's coming from financial wise. In my opinion though wouldn't that create more problems between the two of you?" "When we talked about it today he made it seemed as if it wouldn't affect us at all, that only good could come from him working with Tyler. Then in the middle of our date, even though his first day is tomorrow, Tyler calls saying that he needs Vince and whisks him off to L.A." Thinking about how well their day was going only for Tyler to interrupt it made Neveah want to scream. "Sorry to be the one to tell you, but -" Christina's sentence was cut off by a wave a giggles. Away from the phone Neveah could hear her telling Mark to stop. When he didn't, Neveah heard the loud slap against skin. There was some rustling then Christina came back on the line. "Sorry about that girl. Mark does not know when to stop--," Christina shrieked into the phone. "Nene save me. He won't stop tickling me. Nene heeeeeeeeeeelp me," You could hear the phone shifting around as they moved and fought for the phone. "I'm sorry, but Chris cannot come to the phone right now. I think she'll have to get back to you on your way to work," the whole time Neveah could hear Christina moaning and giggling on the other side of the phone. Now Neveah was completely alone. Her husband off doing God knows what, and she had to listen to her best friend get the attention she craved. She grabbed the black bottom cheesecake out of the fridge and a clean spoon out the cupboard. Her bed and whatever rom-comedy was calling her name. * * * It was three in the morning and Vince felt like falling out on the sidewalk as he hopped out of Tyler's ride. The deal had went well; Tyler served as the middleman in most of the deals. He knew tons and tons of people who dealt in a large variety of things, but Tyler did what he could to keep his hands clean. Vince just wanted to forget the night's activities, make it to his bed, and spend the rest of his morning cuddled up to Neveah. There was no life down stairs, but he could smell chocolate in the air as he walked upstairs to hear quiet voices. At the top of the stairs he could see the blue glow from the television. On further examination he could see Neveah's back turned to him, her hair tossed everywhere, and what looked like a half-eaten dessert with a spoon in the tray at the foot of the bed. He was surprised seeing the baked good at the foot of the bed considering how much she watched what she ate. He must have pissed her off a lot if she not only took the time to bake but devour over half of the large size pan. Vince grabbed the food, napkins and other crap she had laying on the edge of the bed and placed it on the dresser. He stripped out of his clothes leaving them beside the bed, and climbed in behind her body. Neveah stirred as his arms wrapped their way around her waist. She wanted so badly to mad at him, their date was ruined, she had ate hundreds of carbs and sugar in her momentary depression, and she had lost sleep in her waiting up for him. "You actually made it home before it was time for me to go to work," her voice sarcastic as it could be though groggy with sleep. "I made sure that I would be home before you got up for work." She slowly pulled out of his arms not wanting him to think she was just okay with the events of yesterday. "Sweetheart, you know I didn't plan for things to happen the way they did?" She still laid curled on her side ignoring him. His hands once again reached out for her, but she slid from her grasp. "Please, princess don't be upset with me. I don't know how long I could go with you being upset with me," he tried to roll her on her back so he could get her to look at him. "Stop," she hit him with her arms until he let go of her. "I've already lost hours of sleep. You need to stop and just let me go to sleep." "No, you listen," he wrestled around with her arm until he pinned her wrist down to the bed beneath him. "I know how much you want to be mad at me, to scream and rant at me for things that are out of my control. I know that you hate I had to leave when we were having a moment. I know you don't want me to do this. I already know all of this, but I'm doing this for us, because we need it," he looked into her teary eyes knowing that he addressed everything she was worrying about. "I just want you to have faith in me that this could work, and that there could be many benefits for us, from this," his hands left her wrist to caress her cheek and hopefully soothe her fears. "Do you get that," he searched her eyes for some sort answer. "Fine," she sighed knowing that he wouldn't let her sleep until she finally gave him an answer. "I'm definitely not happy about this. You already know how I feel about the issues. The only reason I'm letting it go now, is because I need sleep, and you're not up to changing your mind. So, as I said this is a temporary agreement-" "I can live with temporary," a smile graced his face as he leaned in for a kiss. "I don't plan on doing anything stupid anytime soon. So, there is no need for you to worry about me." "Well, now I'm going to sleep, "she rolled out of his arms and back to her side of the bed. He scooted behind her body his hand barely touching her hip. "I know that you are probably highly annoyed with me, but I just feel like I need to hold you." Despite feeling as if she shouldn't she grabbed his hand and let his arm slide into his place right over hip. "Most of the time I can't sleep without you," she rested her body back against his chest. "I know. Why don't you go back to sleep? You only have a few more hours." A glance at the clock confirmed his statement. She let her body relax against his and it wasn't long before she was falling asleep again. * * * I hope you all enjoyed, please rate and/ or leave a comment. Life's Little Curves Ch. 05 I actually finished long before I thought I would, I'm trying to stay on top of it for all of you. I am almost done with chapter six, it will be longer than this chapter, and there will be sex. This is more of a transition in Neveah and Vince's relationship, but it is also a way to show you more about their life. Don't judge me too hard I don't have an editor. I hope you enjoy. * * * "Vince you're not listening to me. I'm not stepping a foot out the house while looking like this," Neveah stood at the top of the stairs looking down at Vince. "Why not, Babe? You look freaking amazing! How could you not grace the rest of us mere mortals with your presence?" He stared right back at her with a dopey smile on his face. Neveah was not going to let him make her laugh at the moment. She was trying to be serious and he was messing with her, "Because I look like a prostitute in this dress." When he had told Neveah about them all going out to dinner, she was perfectly fine with the idea. It had been a few weeks since they hung out with their friends, all together. Problems only arose when she heard about where the restaurant they were going to. Then the issue became that she didn't have a dress suitable enough to wear to such a fancy restaurant. Being the doting husband he was, Vince went out and bought a dress that he knew would look good on Neveah, and fit the upscale vibe of the restaurant. When he had saw the beautiful lacey white dress hanging on the mannequin he knew that it would hang beautifully on her slim frame. Looking at her now he knew he was right. He just didn't understand how she couldn't see what he was seeing. When he had saw the beautiful dress hanging on the mannequin he knew that it would hang beautifully on her frame. Looking at her now, he knew he was right. He just didn't understand how she couldn't see what he was seeing. On any other person this dress might have looked amazing, but on Neveah's taller fuller frame she thought it looked all wrong. She didn't like the length of the dress for one. It had looked so long on the hanger but it really only went to three inches above her knee. She was sure she couldn't go the whole night knowing that her legs were exposed to anyone who walked by their table . She also felt as if she would bend over then her breast might just pop out the top of the sweetheart cut strapless dress. She was never sure if her breast were going to be enough to hold up the material. "I look as if I'm trying really hard," she scowled down at him. Vince trudged up the stairs to meet her. They were going to be late if they didn't leave soon "You look beautiful honey, what are you talking about?" "You can see everything," she whined," I have so much skin exposed. I feel as if my boobs and my cooch are both popping out. " "If you think you're showing a lot of skin now, you would have cringed at the dress I wanted to get you. It would have been nice and tight on your ass and you look good in royal blue. Trust me; the skin you are showing is nothing but flawless and smooth. " "Are you sure? " Neveah looked over herself. "Come with me," he led her into the corner of the bathroom where the only full length mirror stands. "What do you see when you take a close look at yourself." So many thought pass through her head. What exactly does she see in her reflection? Progress perhaps? Some progress had been made since she decided to change her appearance all those months ago. "Princess, I wish you could see how gorgeous you look. The dress perfectly enhances your already beautiful body. It hugs your breast making them look straight delicious, "he wrapped his large hands around her little waist. " The way the big purple belt shows how small your waist is now. The hem is short enough that I can peek at those toned legs of yours all night. And with how simple you do your makeup. You couldn't look better, "he leaned into her neck getting a whiff of her natural scent. "I don't think it's possible for you to look any more beautiful. " "Are you sure? " She asked as eyes started to water. "Now don't cry," He whispered as he wiped a fallen tear, "We don't need you ruining your eyeliner. You already complain about it smudging easily" That seemed to put the humor back in his princess as she laughed at his knowledge of her makeup. "You always make me feel better," she said as she gave him a quick peck. "Now we must get going before we end up late." * * * Walking into the overcrowded restaurant Neveah was so happy Vince had bought her the new dress. If he hadn't, she definitely wouldn't have fit into the upscale atmosphere that the place possessed. The woman at the maître desk was dressed in a silky hot pink dress with kimono sleeves and hair in a severe bob. "Hello, do you have reservations? " "Yes. We are part of the Wilson party We were supposed to be here about five minutes ago." Vince was the one to speak up. He knew that everyone was probably here a more like fifteen minutes ago. "Of course," she quickly exited from behind the desk. "Mr. Wilson had informed me that there were two more members of his party that had yet to arrive. Follow me back to your private room." She led them through the large dining room until they arrived at a frosted painted wall. She slipped open the frosted glass wall, that was really a door, where there was a large table sitting Christina, Matt, Tyler, and Tyler's pretty date. Tyler was the first to stand up and greet them. "You two are always on CP time. What... too busy playing around in bed to come join us for dinner?" Tyler stood up to give them both hugs. He knew from his conversations with Vince that they weren't. Tyler just wanted to fluster Neveah some. "Naw man, we had a dress issue and were only halfway on CP time," Vince gestured at Neveah. "If we were fully on CP time we wouldn't be here for another twenty minutes." "I know that's right," Tyler's eyes flickered from Vince's face to Neveah's curvy form." You look great tonight Neveah. New dress?" "Thank you. Actually Vince bought this dress this morning while I was at work." "Wow. I didn't know you has such style, Vince. And you guys look so cute with your matching colors, "Christina ran from her spot at the table to embrace Neveah in a hug. "You always look beautiful, "Neveah's eyes took in Stina's sleek form. Christina and Neveah had known each other since preschool, but it wasn't until the girls were in fifth grade that they became friends. For a long period before that they hated each other, and had spent much time antagonizing each other. "I told you it would look good if we matched," Chris cut her eyes over at Matt who was walking over to give the other couple a hello. They all chatted about how things had been going. Until Tyler brought over his date for them to see. The pretty brunette reached her hand out to give Neveah's hand a shake. "Hi I'm-" "I know exactly who you are. You're Jessie Stein off of HOT90.7. My name is Neveah and this is my husband Vince. I love listening to your morning show on my way to work, or even around the house. I even follow your blog on working out," Neveah was nothing but smiles as she pump the woman's hand. Jessie looked sincere as she thanked Neveah for her compliments. "It's funny that you follow my blog. I was going to ask you how you get your legs to look so good, later." The women went on and on about their different regiments Eventually all the men got bored listening to the women rambling, they all liked to work out as well, but they were hungry. "Neveah, you should come sit down. All this talk of working out is making me hungry," he patted her seat. "I completely agree with you, Vince," Tyler looked over at Jessie. He hadn't expected her to get along with his friends' wives so easily, but their she was holding her own in a conversation against Christina-she's a vicious one. Vince watched the way that Neveah looked over her menu. He knew that all she was seeing was calories, starch, and grams of protein, judging by the grimace that was on her face. "Maybe we should just split a platter, that way we can have a variety of things," he leaned in as he looked over to see what page she was on. That would allow her to have more options, and he could monitor what she was eating without having to call her out to everyone. Vince had been really worrying about her eating habits lately, and he hadn't put his finger on what was triggering it. They all put their orders in when the waiter came back. Tyler just went ahead and ordered some sake for all of them. "Actually, I'll just have some iced sweet tea," she asked the waiter just before he left. Neveah and Vince both looked at each other. Christina was an event planner, and over the last few years she had been getting more and more popular, meaning she also got extremely stressed out with the boost of clients she got. She was known to have a drink or two whenever they all went out, just to take off the edge of everything. Vince looked over at Matt, and he had a smile from ear to ear. Vince raised his eyebrows at him, but Matt just shook his head. "No way," Vince couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, we just found out. We were planning on telling you guys soon," Matt put his arm around Stina's shoulders. "What are you guys talking about," she looked at Vince. "She ordered a sweet tea instead drinking sake with everyone else," he looked at her expectantly. Neveah looked at Christina and she looked to be glowing. "Wait, are you for real. Congratulations," she got up and walked back around to where Chris was sitting. She had no clue how Vince had picked up on if before she did. Christina and Neveah held on to each other and did that happy hug that girls do when they bounce from foot to foot. Congratulations were going around, and talks of what they were going to be up too soon. "Now we really need to drink, "Tyler said as the waiter came back with their drinks. "Well, except for you pregnant lady," the waiter went around passing out cups and setting pitchers on each end of the table. When everyone had a filled cup Tyler got their attention and stood up," It's been quite a long time since all of have been able to be at the same table. We all have our jobs and problems with our family that need to be dealt with. It's just a coincidence that the first time we are able to carve out time together, we have good news to celebrate. Congratulations to Chris and Matt. I know I speak for myself, Vince, and Neveah when I say I can't wait to have a new niece or nephew to spoil. To Christina and Matt," they all touched glasses then he took a long sip of his drink. It was easy for the friends to all chat over dinner about work and what they had been doing since they last spoke. Everyone tried to include Jessie in their conversation. Vince knew that Jessie had been out with Tyler already a few times this week, but what he didn't know was how long it was going to last. The longest time Tyler had been with any girl was about two weeks. His first week was almost done with Jessie and they hadn't sex at all, yet. She still called over on a daily basis, and Tyler always took the call. "So Neveah, how did you and Vince meet? I heard earlier about Matt and Christina, and I know that they met each other because you guys were going out. I have to know how you guys met. " Jessie sounded generally interested Neveah smiled over at Vince, "Sure," she racked her brain for information. "Well both of us were born here, even though our families came to the town in different time periods. We always went to the same schools, but it wasn't till we were in sixth grade that we were forced to work on this project together for our history class," it was nice to think back on such a happy time. "See the thing is that Neveah didn't like me till about freshman year. She said she felt as if I was always staring at her," Vince had to interrupt her and tell his side too. "Of course she was right, but I didn't want her to think that, so I waited till later tell her that-," "No you never told me anything. I've asked you so many time since that happen-," Vince shed her and everyone else laughed. Now he can continue the story. "So, every time we wrote an essay, our English teacher would take the time to read our essays out loud, just so other kids could hear what other people think on certain topics, but also so the weaker writers can be influenced by stronger writers. Anyways, her favorite book of all time is Pride and Prejudice. And of course her teenage mind only could focus on the different relationships. The next few days I spent time some reading the story, just so I could approach her. The thing was that when I approached her she asked me all these questions I had no answers to her questions. The thing was that when I couldn't answer, she then started to walk away. The only reason I was able to get her to stay was by asking her to read it with me so I could see what she saw in the book. Not going to lie I enjoyed the book way better with her, and it worked. " Everyone else had heard the story before, but Jessie had really been into the story. "Wow that's cute. Tyler and I met at the gym, but it was nowhere near as cute of a story as that. Actually, in about two weeks we are going to do a segment on how couples met. I would love to have you all call in. "she looked backwards and forth between the two. "Of course we will, "Neveah answered looking over at Vince who nodded his head. It would be fun for them to go on air and him to tell their story. * * * "Great I will have to get your number before we leave, "Jessie saw how touching their story was and she just wanted to hear more. When you go an eternity without seeing your friends and you finally get to see each other again, it always seems as if you had never went through that period of separation. The night was perfect for Vince, he couldn't remember the last time he had seen his baby smile so much, and all of his friends were going through a good time in their life. Things were definitely starting to look up for them all. He just hoped they could stay on their track of goodness. * * * I know it was short, and that there has a been a long lawl between sex scenes, but I hope that you have learned some things about our couple and that you didn't mind meeting their friends for a moment. More should be coming soon. Please vote, write comments, and send my feedback. Life's Little Curves Ch. 06 Hello Reader, I want to thank you all for the constant support you have shown me through the whole series. To the new readers this is not a standalone story. It will make sense on its own, but if you read the other chapters it will make more sense. In this chapter there is sex, but Vince will end up doing something crazy while Neveah will make some revelations that will change how Vince looks at her. Well, going to stop before I say too much. I hope you all enjoy. * * * It was too quiet in the room; Tyler looked over to see Vince sitting pondering something important, judging by the troubling expression on his face. He knew that it wasn't their latest deal that taking over his best friend's mind. "I've been so busy I forgot to ask you, man. So, did you finally get some, after that great dinner we had a few weeks ago" Tyler shuffled around the papers on his desk. The only response Vince could give was a snort made in dark humor. He loved Neveah, she was his princess, and for the most part things had been going better for them, but they still weren't having sex. And Vince had no clue what was causing her to be cold. "Man, I love her with everything in me, but whenever I touch her she pulls away right as we start to get really heavy. It just leaves me confused on how to reach her." "Well its Neveah, you know you don't have to worry about her ever tipping out on you." Vince nodded his head, knowing more than the sky was blue that his sweet wife would never cheat on him. "I have a question though. How desperate are you, "Tyler asked a mischievous smiled spread across his face. "What did you have in mind," Vince was never sure what to think about Tyler's various crazy ideas. He just sincerely hoped that it didn't involve other women or something stupid. Little did Vince know that Tyler was going to help him get back on the right path with Neveah. "Just follow me," Tyler grabbed his car keys. * * * Vince felt as if his heart would beat right out of his chest as he walked up the stairs. The plan he concocted could go in one of two directions. The first being that Neveah would enjoy it and it would bring them closer together. The other, which he dreaded, would be that she would spend her off day glaring at him for what he was about to do. Walking into their room she was peacefully laying out on her side of the bed. Vince laid his bag full of goods on the ground close to the bed. Before pulling off his clothes from the day, letting them pile up on the floor for once. He took a deep huff trying to convince himself that as a couple they needed what he was about to do. That it could only make their relationship better. Opening up the black duffle bag, he grabbed the three silk ties that lay on top and made his way to look over her. Looking down at her beautiful calm face was starting to make him want to change his mind. "No you love her, and tonight you're going to show her just how much," he told himself. Slowly climbing on to the bed Vince straddled her body and loosely grabbed her wrist. He tied both wrists together to a bar that extended across the length of the headboard, before slinking down to her feet. The comforter had to get out of the way, and was thrown to the ground without a second thought. His lips traced the inside of her ankle before he tied her ankles up too. Neveah couldn't go to bed without taking a shower and he got a whiff of her body wash She made such a lovely picture her arms pulled up above head, her dark ringlets fanned out over the pillow. Her legs were tied so that they could be spread wide enough for everything he planned to do, but bent enough so that she could comfortable when she woke up. The way her arms were pulled up her breast made her tank top rise up giving Vince a look at her smooth brown tummy and stark white panties that clung to her body. Reaching in Neveah's bedside drawer Vince grabbed the lighter that Nene always used to light all her candles and incense around the room. Despite all the slight noises he had made along with his weight shifting on and off the bed, she hadn't even stirred except for when he moved her body. ''It's now or never," Vince took a deep as he grabbed the fourth and final scarf that he would use as a blindfold. Tying the silky scarf around her head * * * Neveah had somewhat felt Vince's light touches, he must have just gotten home. Coming out of her fog of sleep Neveah opened her eyes thinking she would see those of Vince who was down in between her thighs. Her eyes couldn't see it was all darkness; her eyelashes were fluttering against whatever was blocking her view. '"Vince, w-," her arms could not move out of their place where they were bound above her head. Her arms and legs both jerked against the ties that held her down, but the kisses were steadily moving closer and closer to her hot core. She hadn't been dreaming about anything sensual. Could this person possibly not be Vince? Just the thought of some stranger violating her made her stomach upset. "Vince," she asked quietly hoping it was his voice that would respond to her. "Sweetie you need to relax you feel so tense, "Vince halted on his path. "What do you mean I need to relax? I wake up and you have me tied up and you're telling me I should relax. I don't think so!" He chuckled admiring her sprawled out body again." You really don't have any say so in this, so why don't you just enjoy everything I'm about to do," and like that Vince was working himself back on his path to the wet spot on her snug panties. "Can you at least take off the blindfold I don't like it, "she waited. He would give into this little request. "Of course dear, the last thing I want for you to feel is discomfort," he didn't even hesitate to unveil to her the atmosphere he had created. "No, tonight is about giving all that hot little body of yours can handle," Neveah was able recognized the look of complete hunger in his eyes. Growing impatient Vince licked the rest of the path right to the edge of her panties before taking a large whiff of the musky smell her pussy exuded. Even with the panties covering up her secret place, he could make out her puffy outer lips and the slight movement at the top of her pussy where her clit was growing with her excitement. Neveah freaked out at the sight of the knife Vince had pulled off the edge of the bed. She couldn't help but to be scared of what her husband could have in mind. He was the rational one out of the two. He would never do anything stupid or that would put her in danger. Would he? He cut through the sides of her panties unleashing the view of her wet bald mound. The pad of his thumb traced from the top of her slit down opening her lips and letting her juices pool below her body on the bed. Despite shivering from the goodness he made her feel, Neveah could only think about the fact that eventually he would have to take off the shirt that he has left for now. "God, you're so wet for me princess. I have something special for you. I have no clue how to use it, but the lady at the store thought that it was great for this," he reached down pulling out a cordless vibrator that he planned on using till she begged him to stop. Her eyes bugged out of her head as she watched him first pull out the device then try it out the various levels on the air. The way it turned and went through the various levels made her fear for the safety of her clit. "Vince, put that thing an away," she shouted over and over. "You will not use that thing on me," she emphasized the not as her hips attempted to pull out of his grasp. Vince knew that she was excited by the constant flow of her juices that were coming out. Even though she was sounding scared she was really turned on by the situation. With one hand he easily pulled her body right back underneath his. An evil smile graced his face as Vince let the vibrator trail over her sopping wet slit. Soft moans fled her lips as she looked down watching the way he moved the machine closer and closer to her. When her eyes finally met his stare Vince drew the vibrator over her clit. Not even wild horses could make Vince tear his eyes away from the beauty underneath him with the way her backed arched up deliciously displaying her breast for him and the feeling of pure pleasure rolled off of her as he tortured her. Pressing it tight against her pussy, and then pulling it off completely. Sometime he would leave it on for a long time so that she would get really wound up. '"Yes. Vince. Oh yes. Please," she couldn't get a coherent thought in as the pleasure took over her body. She rapidly bucked up and down not sure if she wanted to move away from the touch or press herself against it. Vine pressed it harder against her little button; he even turned the notch up one. Neveah's body was glistening as pleasure once again took her over the edge to the point she couldn't do anything but scream and shake. "Sweetheart... I need you to stop," she looked at him the plea clear in her eyes. She couldn't take any more pressure on her poor little button. "Please, Vince I beg you to stop. I can't take anymore" she screamed almost hysterically now. "You beg so prettily baby. You know what princess, I will stop... as soon as you come hard one more time for me," Vince turned off the vibrator for a moment. Setting it aside, he slid one finger inside her canal to test just how tight she was. Her pussy sucked his finger in so deep and was not trying to let go. He pumped in and out of her little pussy a few times before he ended up adding a second finger to it. Neveah's head rolled feeling the stretching he was giving her. She was taking it so well he went on and added a third finger to the mix. "Vince," she whimpered slightly. She knew her body was working on overdrive, but she wouldn't have been able to resist him even if she hadn't been tied up. Vince curled his fingers up reaching for her g-spot; he knew he had found it when Neveah gasped loudly. At that point she lost all words. She just sat there eyes closed head back and her hips humping his hands earnestly. Vince picked up the vibrator with his other hand and turned it back on. "I hope you're ready to really come for me princess," he smiled down on her as he turned it up to the next notch, which happened to be the highest level, before pressing the vibrator hard against the top of her mound. Neveah would never be able to describe what it felt like to have it pressing on her that way, she just knew it was too much for her to handle. "No. No I can't take it-" her cries were cut off by her screams of pleasures she felt her pussy squirt at her orgasm. He kept his fingers pumping into her till her hips slumped back to the bed. Her body trembled in his hands as he tried to soothe the pleasure shocked girl. Her eyes stayed closed tears leaking down her cheek as she sat shaking and out of breath. She was sweating with all he had done to her, so he reaches for the knife to cut through the tank top he could always buy her new one now, same color and style. As soon as he started to drag the knife through the hem of her tank, Neveah became semi coherent again. "Don't take my shirt off. Why do you even have to take my shirt off," she kept moving her torso so he wouldn't be able to cut it right. "I want to be able to see all of you, princess" he gave her look that said what's wrong with you. She was moving too much and he didn't want to cut her. Neveah couldn't let him take her top off. She couldn't stand the thought of letting him see her with so much light around them for him to see everything she tried so hard to keep from him. He put the knife to the side, before grabbing the hem of her tank with both hands and ripping it all the way up to her chin. He left her completely bare since she decided to not wear any type of bra to bed, for once. She sat there with her eyes shut tightly barely holding her tears in. If she could cover her ears as well she would, anything to keep from hearing his reaction to seeing all of her. She wanted so badly to hide her body from his eyes. So badly she wanted to curl her body up into a ball effectively covering her body up. Her skin was so brown, so smooth, and so perfect. Vince just wanted to cover her body in kisses. His lips found their way up to her own he decided to make his way down from there. His lips were so soft and full compared to any white guy she had ever seen. And there's the fact that no one knows how to kiss the way Vince could kiss her. The way he was able to put the perfect amount of pressure, how he has the tendency to tug on her bottom lip, or how he would trail his tongue on the inside of her lips. "You're so freaking gorgeous," he pulled away from her to get a good look at her reaction to him. "Really," her tone was inquisitive and her large brown eyes filled with disbelief. He had thought she was joking at first, but the look in her eyes let him know she was genuinely asking him." Are you seriously asking me this?" Seeing the face he made she had to look away. The way his eyebrows were mashed together made her nervous about what direction the conversation was going to end up going. His fingers gently grasped her chin so he could look into her eyes, "How can you not realize how beautiful you are to me?" Neveah closed her eyes trying to block it all out. They had avoided having this conversation for so long, now she was scared to see how it might turn out. She opened her mouth to respond, but she couldn't force out the words that he wanted to hear. "Baby look at me," he asked voice completely calm and kind. She simply shook her head no and kept her eyes closed. "Well I want you to listen. Since I've been home I've noticed different things. You barely eat enough for a bird, you're constantly working out, and you always glare at your own reflection as if you hate it." Her eyes opened a she never realized how much he watched her she hardly ever left the bathroom door open when she got ready. "When I first got home and saw how much weight you had lost. I was happy for you, because I knew that was something you had struggled with even when we were younger. So seeing you had done something that made you happy for once, made me happy. But then I started seeing how you eat, and how you are always working out. I mean we can be watching a movie and you'll get on the floor and start doing core. Great. Way to take initiative, but it's almost as if you're obsessed. "I mean have you truly looked at your body, you're near flawless. You have the most perfect tone claves," his fingertips traced over the curves of her right calf." You have lips so full and beautiful that I want to spend forever sucking and nibbling on them," he leaned in and pulled her bottoms lips in between his where nibbled on it softly. "I love your shoulders they're so smooth despite that little scar you have on the back of your left shoulder, " he traced the odd shaped scar. "You're breast are the most perfect size. They fill up my hands just enough, "his hands cupped both of her breast before rubbing her nipples with his thumbs. "Your sensitive little nipples are so fun to play with. "His hands slid down to hold on to her little waist, "And all your little curves right here, "his hands slid farther till they were lightly gripping her hips, "are perfect for me to hold on to." Vince moved down her body so that he could kiss all the areas he had spoken of. He first sucked on her nipples, then moved down to her stomach and sides, then finally he kissed her hips. "Especially when I need to clean up that messy snatch of yours, "he moved down her even farther so that he could up close and personal with her intimate area. Vince kissed the smooth skin of her mound. Even though before tonight they weren't having sex, Neveah still kept herself smooth shaven, making Vince's cleaning job easier. Vince kissed down her mound, feeling her legs shake at the pleasure he was building up in her. When he was right above her lips he placed his tongue at the top before dragging his wet appendage down pass her opening and back down again. Her hands yanked at the scarves that held her fast, she wanted so badly to run her finger through his hair as he ate her out. Her fingers grappled the head board instead. Her fingers were almost white from the firm grip she held as Vince let his tongue slide past her opening. "Mm. Vince. Bab--," Neveah lost her words as his finger tweaked her little button. She felt her body getting hotter almost to the point overheating with the way he was working her. Vince let his finger replace his tongue, and just like before his two fingers were stretching her wide and pushing up against the roof of her pussy. His tongue sleeked out her clit, flicking it softly, before pulling it in his hot mouth to suck on. Vince wanted her to cum, he wanted her to lay underneath him forever, until he could prove to her how beautiful she was, and till he could take no more of her sweet and salty essence. Neveah felt her hips earnestly pumping with his fingers, she wasn't going to be able to last much longer, and the impending crash was coming. Vince could feel it in the way she clenched down on his fingers. Come for me princess. I want you to let go. Come on baby," he urged her excitedly as he sped up the pace of his fingers. "Vince, "she screamed as she felt herself let go. Her body bucked against the hand inside her and the mouth suckling her. Neveah felt as if she had been lit on fire as the pleasure enveloped her body. She couldn't see, she couldn't think, all she could do was feel the pleasure he inflicted on her. Watching her body react to him made Vince's manhood swell beyond comparison. He wanted so much to plunge into the tight haven that seemed to call to him, but judging from the dazed look on her beautiful face she needed more than a moment to rejuvenate. He sat up and untied the scarves at her ankles. He heard Neveah's sigh of relief as he closed her legs letting them relax. Lastly, he removed the scarf at her wrist knowing her shoulders must be sore. "Are you feeling alright? He took the trembling woman into his arms. Baby you were shaking like you were suffering from sensory overload. I'm sorry that wasn't the plan, it was solely to make you feel good. " "You feel sorry? You're the one who did it to me meanie, "her laugh was completely shaky and breathless. "Yeah I did do it to you. And I thoroughly enjoyed it, he smile down on her with a mischievous smile. "Well in that case you're allowed to do it again. As a matter of fact anytime you're ready for another go around, don't even hesitate to ask, "She giggled. "Well that's nice to know for the future." "In all honesty I don't think that you've ever made my body felt like that before. It was amazing, it's almost as if I didn't have any control over what I was feeling, and I just had to take everything you did to me. I kind of felt as if I was flying. "Just for the simple fact that she had unwillingly giving up her control was really scary. "It was just good to see that you enjoyed it. I do hope that during all that you realize how much I love you, and that you're such a beautiful woman. Whatever it was, while I was gone that made you upset, made you feel as if you weren't beautiful, and made you want to change, we can talk through it. I don't know if it was the man from the emergency room that one night, or if it was something else that happened that made you like this. But, I promise I will be there for you, and that I will help you through this. Neveah's eyes watered as she listened to his declarations. In their conversations while he had been overseas she had never mentioned the incident, but when Christina had seen that the man had be let out on a probation, she left a message on the house phone, because she thought Vince knew. When he asked about it, they got in a fight, and to end the fight they decided to not talk about it. She didn't know how to tell him all the thoughts that had been going through her head. She had kept them inside you're so long, that she tried repress them. Life's Little Curves Ch. 06 "Please don't cry. I didn't mean to make you cry at all. I just wanted you to know that I'm here for you, and you don't have to do this all by yourself. I've been here waiting for you to open up to me and tell me what's going on with you. " Her big brown eyes met his green ones; hers were red from the crying she had done. "It had started with the man in the emergency room, when he called me all those horrible things I let them get to me. It's not like he was anyone, it's not like he was skinny. He was just some abusive loud druggie who had somehow ended up in my emergency room. But as you know words can be hurtful and I just let them get to me. I just assumed that those things were true." "How come you never told me before? I mean I am your husband, you're supposed to share these types of things with me, but you didn't. Because you didn't talk to me, it ate you up inside. I could've been there for you, I could have helped you, and I could have told you how wrong he was." Neveah felt bad, she should have known that he would have been there for her if she would have just asked, "I thought that eventually I would just repress the memory, but I couldn't. The more I looked at myself in the mirror the more I felt as if his words were true. I couldn't look at myself without being disgusted. When I look in the mirror I see every damn flaw I have," the floodgates of tears came pouring down." Then I thought about how you must feel being married to some cow and I couldn't-," "Don't you dare talk about yourself that way ever again," his arms tightened around as he stressed the ever part. He would have never know that she thought that way of herself. He thought that maybe it was because he wasn't around enough to tell her how beautiful she was. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there to be strong for you. You never have to worry about anything like that again. You're completely perfect the way you are." Vince really hoped that he somehow get her to where she was before. "I love you," she whispered before her lips found his. Neveah hoped that she could convey her gratitude for what he did. Her body slid through Vince's arms and down the course of his body. "I love you Vince, with all my heart. You're more than I really deserve. Right now, I'm going to show you just how much you mean to me," she reached for his member. During their little confession it had gotten soft, but Neveah knew how easy it was to get Vince all riled up. Neveah wrapped her hand around his cock and started to stroke it, just enough to get him firm again. She squeezed the head of his cock until she got enough pre cum to make some lubricant for her grip. She gave him a smile before she let her tongue reach out to sample him. It had been so long since the last time they had made love and she wanted to show him some appreciation for all he had done, he had really went out of his way. The little licks were not satisfying her appetite for his cock, so she took some more of him, enough that she could feel his head bump against the back of her. "Shit, baby," he moaned his hand reaching out to press her down a little bit more. To Vince this was heaven. His cock her was buried deep in her warm wet hole. After he let her get a breath he was pushing down, as she relaxed her throat letting him slide farther down than the last time. "Just like that he moaned closing his eyes. She must have gained her confidence, because she began to bob up and down at a faster pace. Vince kept his hand in the position, applying enough pressure that she always tried to go a little further. "I'm gonna cum," he barely ground out, Vince was trying not to yell out. " Neveah pulled off so that only his head was in her mouth and started to pump the bottom of his cock. Her other hand reached out to fondle his balls hoping that would be enough to get him pumping cum into her mouth. It was. Vince came with a roar as hips bucked pressing his cock past Neveah's mouth and to back down her throat. She swallowed as much cum as she could, but Vince sure did have a lot. Then again it had been quite some time since they had sex and it was to be expected. She had swallowed most of it, but there was some that had spilt out on to her chin and lips, and of course she instantly wiped up what she could and swallowed. Vince sat up against the headboard trying to catch his breath. He pulled his little vixen from between his legs up to where he could give her a kiss. When they were both out of breath they pulled apart, and Neveah settle under his arm. "Baby," she whispered out of breath. "Yes, princess," he responded. She giggled, she loved it when he called her princess.
