She has just put in another twelve hour day working to provide much needed therapy to abused and neglected children in the Tampa Bay area. She spent all day hearing children talk about being touched inappropriately or hit for not picking up their toys and her boyfriend of two years continues to act like I jerk. "Kay. I just thought that before you start making me dinner that we could go upstairs and mess around for a while." "Steve, you have got to be kidding me. I don't know where to start with that. But sure let's go upstairs so that you can screw me while I mentally make dinner plans since once again you couldn't be bothered to put something together for dinner even though you've been home for hours." "Okay sounds like a deal to me," Steve says as he turns around and bounds up the stairs. Steve has a surprise coming when Kay never shows up in the bedroom. She immediately sets to making dinner; not out of an obligation as a woman, but out of an obligation as a hungry person. Kay Mitchell and Steve O'Brien have been a couple for over four years. Steve is supremely content in his life. He has been living with his "exotic beauty" for longer than he ever dreamed possible. Kay is the daughter of an African-American father and a white mother. This mixed genealogy produced a woman that depending on the time of year and the way that she wore her hair could be described as looking anything from Indian, to Native American, to African. For the ultra-white Steve, Kay was the gorgeous woman that he never dreamed he could get. Things were not as nice for Kay. She had spent many hard years in school working to get her PhD so that she could counsel the most traumatized children and families around. After just three years in practice, she was quickly becoming widely known in the therapy community. She had developed several techniques that seemed to allow abused children to open up to her. Plus, she was so approachable that parents found her very easy to talk to. She just didn't know where things were going with Steve though. When they had first met, Kay was finishing her PhD and Steve was trying to start his own contracting business. She fell in love with all of the drive and ambition that she saw in him. Now after four years of being together, he had long since given up on his dream of running his own company. He was now content to just be a grunt building houses while living off of Kay's hard earned salary. Kay felt as if she was quickly outgrowing the relationship and she didn't know what to do about it. She thought that she loved Steve, but the more her therapist brain worked, she realized that she loved who Steve once was and who he had once dreamed of becoming. Kay wanted nothing more than to make things work with Steve. She sought counseling on her own and begged Steve to come along, but he always refused saying that he didn't have any problems to talk about. She frequently gave into his constant sexual requests. He never forced her to do anything, but she frequently found it easier to just give in and not listen to his nagging for days on end. Suffice to say, Steve thought that he had a great sex life while Kay saw her sex life as nothing more than a chore to do along with all of the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. In an effort to regain the closeness that she once had with Steve, Kay agreed to attend a golf tournament that was being played in their home town of Tampa Bay. She couldn't stand the game, but she knew that Steve played every chance that he got. He talked like he was a great golfer when the truth was that he would struggle just to keep up with his buddies. Kay did something that she had never done before and canceled all of her therapy sessions on Thursday so that she could attend the tournament with Steve. They woke early Thursday morning and after fending off Steve's wandering hands, she staggered to the shower to prep for the day. She really wanted to have a great day with Steve, but she didn't expect much to come of it. Steve was too dense to even realize that they had a problem. Upon arriving at the golf course, Steve could not stop talking about how excited he was to be there. Not once did he mention how he was grateful that Kay had rearranged her week so that she could come along with him. All morning as they walked along the fairways, watching a parade of players unknown to Kay do things she did not understand, Kay became more and more frustrated. Steve all but ignored her. The only time he gave her any attention at all was when he caught a guy checking Kay out. With Kay's tan skin and curly hair, she stuck out like a sore thumb in an almost all white golf crowd. She attracted quite a bit of attention and a good portion of that attention came from other guys. Steve was once quite good looking too, but he was always jealous of the attention that Kay received from other guys. When he noticed guys looking at her, he would "innocently" grab her butt or "accidently" brush against her chest. She didn't mind public displays of affection. But she did mind public displays of ownership. After about the fifth time that he did that, Kay became infuriated with Steve and stormed away from the fairway. Oblivious, Steve momentarily just stared dumbfounded as she walked away. After about a minute he abandoned his great seats and went after her. He caught up with Kay as she was walking into the woods. He roughly grabbed her arm and spun her around. In his quietest voice possible he yelled "what the hell has gotten into you today? I thought that you came here to have fun with me." "Fun with you," Kay growled back at him, "Is that what you call this? Do you really think that having my ass grabbed and breasts groped for all to see is fun to me? I didn't want to be here. I hate golf. But I wanted to spend time with you and you've done nothing but ignore me or molest me and I'm sick of it. I thought that being here with you would be a change from our everyday life but it turns out that it is nothing but the same crap as at home." "What the hell are you talking about? We have a great life. We have a great home, go on great vacations all around the world, and if I might add a pretty damn good sex life." "That's right. I bought us a great house. I take us on great vacations and please, speak for yourself when it comes to our sex life." With that Kay turned and stormed away from Steve for the second time in the last five minutes. She never turned around to see people snickering at Steve as they walked by. Not knowing where she was on the golf course or how she would get home, she wandered around for a good while. She walked through woods, behind grandstands and over ropes. If she'd known how many spectator rules she'd broken, she would be embarrassed. But at that moment she was too oblivious to care. After what seemed like walking for hours, she stopped and looked around. She could hear a lot of cheers coming from the grandstands behind her and there were numerous official looking men standing around with credentials hanging around their neck. Once again Joseph Williamson put his head down in anger as he walked out of the scorer's tent. For what seemed like the hundredth time that year he had shot an over par round and was fast on his way to missing his seventh straight cut of the year. For a season that was only in its eight week, that made for a long start to the year. If things didn't turn around quickly, he would be looking for a place to play golf next year. As he stormed towards the practice range he nearly ran over and knocked to the ground what turned out to be the only person around in a fowler mood than he. He looked up in time to stop himself from growling at the person to watch where they were going. When he looked at the woman's eyes, he noticed tears dripping down. He was immediately captivated by her mysterious dark eyes. They were bloodshot from crying and they looked as if they held a deep sorrow. Joseph was what one would call a journeyman pro. He had been on tour for several years now, but he could count his top 10 finishes on one hand and he had never come close to winning a tournament. In fact, if he disappeared from the tour, no one would even notice that he was gone. At this point in his career he felt like he should be making great strides, but he was taking more steps back than forward. He recently divorced his wife of five years. It was no big loss to Joseph. He wasn't sure that he ever loved his wife. It was a marriage of convenience for both and though they parted on amicable terms, he was happy to have moved on. Being on tour nearly every week did not leave much time for a social life. He attended sponsor parties during the tournaments, but at best his relationships would only last five or six days until he moved on to the next town. He had met a few women, but none that he was interested in attempting a long distance relationship with. Never a believer in love at first sight, Joseph experienced the next best thing. When he bumped into this distraught woman he experienced a strange version of lust at first sight. Though this woman was undoubtedly hot, he instantly felt something more for her. He felt an instant desire to talk to her, find out what was hurting her and to take care of her. Never the suavest of guys, Joseph did not know what to say. He stammered out a combination of "sorry" and "excuse me." Kay was wandering around this apparently restricted area when she noticed a tall, tanned, muscular guy walk out of a tent. She felt that once familiar butterfly feeling in her stomach. She hadn't had that feeling with Steve in a long time. She was almost ashamed at how she was feeling. She felt that she was cheating on Steve just by having tingly feelings for another guy. She saw this mystery guy come walking quickly towards her. She turned her head to the side as if she was looking at something. Next thing she knew she was slammed into by someone. She struggled to maintain her balance, but slipped on some mud and went to the ground. Now a mixture of pissed off and embarrassed she looked up to see who the fool was that knocked her down. She was horrified to see that it was the gorgeous guy that had only moments before caused her to feel things that she hadn't felt in years. Amazingly, she lost all of her anger and longed to hear this man's voice. "I am so sorry...Let me help you up." "Uh sure," and Kay reached out her hand and grasped what had to be the strongest hand that she had ever touched. She stifled a laugh when she noticed that his left hand was as white as a ghost; while his arm had a deep tan. "Sorry I knocked you over and sorry you had to see my lovely hand. Occupational hazard of the job." "Occupational hazard?" "Yeah, of being a golfer." "Why, do you play a lot of golf?" asked Kay. "Well, you could say that. Again, I am so sorry that I knocked you down. Please let me make it up to you somehow. Anything. You name it. By the way, what is your name?" "Kay. Kay Mitchell. And you are?" "Oh, sorry again. How unchivalrous of me. I'm Joseph Williamson." "Well so not that nice to meet you this way," Kay said with a wicked smile. "Would you like to go get something to drink? It looks like we've both had a bit of a rough day and I feel like I deserve a chance to make it up to you." Kay took one look at her mud covered pants, thought about Steve, then looked back at Joseph and every bone in her body told her to decline the invitation and to get as far away from this man as possible. For some inexplicable reason, "sure" is what came out of her mouth. Joseph led Kay off in the direction of the clubhouse. All along the way many people were calling out to Jay saying "better luck tomorrow" and "just a few bad breaks out there today." Kay had no idea what they were talking about. Joseph led Kay into a bar where he was greeted with a hearty "hey Joe" from everyone in the room. He asked what she would like to drink and was surprised when she asked for a Dr. Pepper. That wasn't a drink that he was used to hearing people ask for. It just so happened to be one of his favorite drinks too. While they waited for their drinks to arrive, they quickly settled into comfortable conversation. After the initial pleasantries, Kay broke the ice by asking Joseph why he was so popular here. Joseph chuckled at Kay's expense. "Oh, I wouldn't say that I'm that popular. I'm actually playing in the tournament this week." With that statement, Kay spit out a bit of her newly arrived Dr. Pepper. "That explains a lot. I thought it strange how everyone around has credentials hanging from their neck and yet you're able to walk me right into the heart of the clubhouse. Now I won't feel so bad sending you the bill for my dry cleaning," Kay said with just a hint of a devilish smile. Even though he had only known this woman for a matter of minutes, he was already sure that he liked her wicked sense of humor. "Don't speak too quickly about not feeling bad. If I keep playing like I have been, then I might be working at the dry cleaners by the end of the year." He said that with a smile, but Kay could tell that there was a hint of truth behind his statement. "Enough about The Great Joseph Williamson, tell me who Kay Mitchell is." Kay was taken aback a bit with his forwardness. She was so used to Steve not caring to hear about her day, that she just assumed all guys were not interested in her. "I wouldn't even know where to start." "Start with what you like to do with your day when you're not walking around golf courses crying and falling into mud puddles." Kay laughed and said "if I wasn't so hard up for some Dr. Pepper right now, I'd be outta here. Normally, I spend my days providing therapy to children and families that have come through abuse and neglect situations." "So it is Dr. Mitchell?" "Not quite. I have a PhD in Clinical Social work which allows me to work as a therapist. It is really long hours and I hear some really horrible stories, but I feel like I am actually making a big difference in these families' lives." "What brought you into that field in the first place? It doesn't sound like the most glamorous job around." "Don't get me wrong, it can be fun in its own way. Seeing a child or family have a break through and make positive changes in their life can be tremendously heartwarming. I got into doing this the same way a lot of people come about their careers. I'll say that I had an interesting childhood. That led me to study social work when I went to school...Go Spartans!" "Go Buckeyes," Joseph cheered in an even louder voice. "I knew there was something other than your habit of pushing women into mud puddles that I didn't like," Kay had a broad smile as she ribbed Joseph. "Anyway after school I got a job in children's protective services." "You were a bodyguard!?" "No, I investigated abuse and neglect of children in my community. It was tough because a lot of times I had to take children away from their families and even split siblings up. It felt like I could make a difference in their lives, but only in a very superficial way. I never got to help them recover from the trauma they went through. So, I went back to school while I kept working and got my Masters followed by my PhD in social work. I got my PhD three years ago and opened my own practice." "Impressive. Makes my life out on the road look so inconsequential compared to what you do." In talking to Joseph, Kay continued to have that warm feeling in her stomach. She knew that she shouldn't be there talking with this stranger, but she couldn't help herself. There was something about the way that he looked, the way that he acted and even the way that he looked at her that made her feel so special. She felt very uncomfortable at the same time. Kay stood up and hurriedly tried to excuse herself. "I'm so sorry Joseph, I lost track of time and I really need to get going. I have some things to do tonight before work tomorrow." "I'm sorry that you have to work tomorrow. I get these family passes for the tournament every week, but with no family to speak of, they just go to waste. I was hoping that you'd accept a pass as an apology and come follow me around the course tomorrow." "Wow, really? You know what; I may be able to rearrange my schedule a bit." Kay felt her chest get tighter as she kept talking. What was she trying to do? "If you can make it, stop by the will-call window at the gate and I'll have your pass waiting for you there. And don't forget to get me the bill for your dry cleaning." "That sounds like a great idea. I hope to see you tomorrow. And don't worry about the dry cleaning. From the sounds of how your year is going, it sounds like I'm doing better than you are." And with that, Kay gently grabbed Joseph's muscular arm as she walked out of the bar. At the last possible moment, she turned and looked at Joseph. He was standing there with a big grin on his face watching her walk away. Upon exiting the clubhouse, Kay was at a loss as to what to do. She didn't even know how to get home since she had ridden in with Steve that morning. Was Steve still even at the golf course? As she looked around, a tournament concierge thinking that she must be a player's wife or girlfriend asked her if she needed something. Perfect timing she thought. A cab is what she needed. The concierge rushed off to call a cab for her which was there in just minutes. Kay's mind was racing as the cab made the twenty minute drive to her home. What was she going to say to Steve about storming off? Should she say anything about meeting Joseph? After all, Kay did not actually do anything other than have a Dr. Pepper with someone. Nothing happened. Or did it? She could not deny how she felt around Joseph. She did not know if it was nothing more than an unhappy woman longing for something more. She was unsure if she would take Joseph up on his offer to follow him around the tournament tomorrow. Kay walked in the door to the sight of Steve playing video games in the living room. "I'm home Steve," Kay yelled. "Hi." "It's been a long day. I'm gonna hop in the shower and then go to bed." "I'm kinda into my game. I'll be down here for a while." Kay was thankful that Steve was not in one of his "moods" where he wanted to have sex with her. The moment she said that she was going to take a shower, she had regretted it. She did not want it to seem like an invitation for Steve to come up. He had a habit of peeking into the shower while she was soaping up her body or shaving her legs. She liked the thought of a man being attracted to her body, but with Steve it seemed more like gawking than true admiration. Kay was fast asleep when she felt Steve loudly thump into bed. He slithered over next to her an assumed his favorite position. He reached around with one hand and pulled a breast out of the top of her nightgown so that he could grope it all night and with the other hand pulled down the back of her underwear so that he could grab her ass. It was amazing that she was able to get any sleep at all. Even more amazing was the fact that Steve was none the wiser after Kay's countless efforts to get him to stop. With his once again uncaring attitude towards Kay and her needs, Kay decided that she would attend the golf tournament to follow Joseph. When Kay awoke in the morning, she took a moment to put her breast back in her nightgown and pull her panties up from halfway down her thighs. She snuck out to the living room and grabbed her cell phone. She called her secretary at home and told her to cancel all of her appointments for the day when she got to the office. Kay said that she wasn't feeling well and needed to relax. Her secretary wished her well and mentioned that Kay's next appointment was not until Monday afternoon. Bumped Off Course Kay dressed in what would be considered to be a very casual outfit for going to work of shorts and a sleeveless shirt. She was confident that Steve would never even notice. She went back to her bedroom one last time and saw Steve still sleeping there. She kissed him on the forehead and said that she had a late appointment that day so he was on his own for dinner. He mumbled something about being fine with that. He never even opened his eyes or made an effort to kiss Kay goodbye. Unlike Steve loudly prancing around at night, Kay quietly slipped out of the house and went to her car. She realized that she didn't even know exactly where the golf was. Luckily the GPS in her Lexus was able to get her there. She found a place to park and headed to the will-call window to pick up her ticket. She gave her name to the woman working the window. When she looked it up in her computer, she told Kay that she did not have a ticket. What she had was an all access pass that got her into virtually every area on the golf course; including the clubhouse. Kay was surprised by that and she allowed herself a momentary thought that maybe Joseph actually liked her. Kay took her pass and hung it around her neck so that she looked like all of the official guys that she had seen the previous day. She looked at the pairings sheet that she was given and saw that Joseph was set to tee off on the tenth hole in twenty minutes. She looked at her map and headed off in that direction. It was a full twenty minutes before she was able to find the tenth hole. She managed to find a spot along the rope just a bit in front of the tee box. She saw Joseph talking very seriously with his caddie. She could only guess that they were discussing strategy together. When Joseph looked up to examine the hole once again, his eyes caught on the sight of Kay and his face absolutely beamed. That was the biggest compliment that Kay could receive as a woman. Joseph was intently talking with his caddie as they waited for his turn to tee off. They figured that he had to shoot at least four under par to make the cut for the weekend. Coming into the week, Joseph had developed a plan for how to play this tenth hole and he planned to stick to it. As he reached for his three wood, he noticed a woman along the rope line. His face lit up when he realized that it was Kay. He was a little surprised that she came. He knew that he had a wonderful time talking to her the previous afternoon. He was captivated by her intelligence and her noticeable compassion for others. And being a man, he was struck by her stunning beauty. She did not just stick out in the crowd because of being one of the few minorities in the crowd. She stuck out because she was easily the most attractive woman on the course that day. And that was saying a lot in a crowd of bleach blond fake woman that were trolling the course looking for a sugar daddy to pay their way. After hitting his tee shot down the middle of the fairway, something Joseph had been struggling with mightily, he walked off of the tee box towards Kay. He gently grabbed her hand for just a second as he walked by. "I'm so glad that you made it. Let's do dinner after the round." Joseph gave Kay a sweet kiss on the cheek and as quickly as he arrived, he was gone. She savored the feeling that his lips left on her cheek. She knew that she was definitely in dangerous territory now, but she no longer cared. She wanted nothing more than for this boring round of golf to be over so that she could have a quiet intimate dinner with Joseph. Kay did not learn that much watching the tournament the day before. She could tell when Joseph hit a good shot though by the cheers from the sparse crowd. She even saw him hit a number of shots that were quite close to the hole. The further into the round that he went, the more that Joseph got excited with his reactions to his shots. Kay was actually enjoying watching golf for the first time in her life. At least once a hole, Kay noticed Joseph sneaking a peak at her. One time, she had been standing next to two blond bimbos who got all excited about "the hot golfer that looked at them." They fought for several moments about which one of them he had been looking at. If they had only known the truth, they would have been quite surprised. Kay was having so much fun watching Joseph play that she did not even realize that they were walking up the fairway of his final hole of the day. She could see the concentration on Joseph's face as he planned his shot into the final green. As he struck the shot, Kay could hear him shout "be as good as you look" at his ball. The crowd began to murmur as the ball flew through the air; culminating in a load roar as Joseph's ball bounced once and then disappeared into the hole. He threw his club into the air in jubilation and then began looking up and down the gallery looking for Kay. Since this was the closing hole, there were more people lining the hole than normal and Kay was unable to be along the rope. After a moment, Joseph saw Kay standing several rows deep in the crowd. He pointed at her and blew her a kiss. Standing just twenty feet away were the two blonds that Kay had seen earlier. They looked dumbfounded when they saw that the kiss wasn't meant for them. When they made eye contact with Kay, Kay mouthed "that one's mine" to them. Kay surprised even herself by her actions. Using her player's family pass, Kay was able to work her way to where the players come off of the ninth green. She was waiting there for Joseph as he finished his round. She gave him a big hug as he came up to her. "Wow that was unbelievable. I've never seen anything like that in my life. I had so much fun today." "I'm glad you did. Listen. There are a few formalities that I have to do like sign my scorecard. Can we meet in the clubhouse bar where we had drinks yesterday in say half an hour." "I'd love that Joseph." Kay leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Great round. I'll see you in a bit." Kay turned and headed towards the clubhouse. This time she was strong and never turned around to see if Joseph was watching her. Had she turned, she would have seen a very loving face watching her walk away. Since she barely knew where she was going, Kay made it to the clubhouse only five minutes before Joseph arrived. She stood as he walked in and gave her a powerful hug to greet her. His strong arms enveloped her and made her feel safe. It was a feeling that she would like to become accustomed to. "I got you a drink while I was waiting. Dr. Pepper if I remember correctly." "Your memory is a perfect as the rest of you." Kay's heart melted as he complimented her. Not only did she like being complimented, she knew he was being genuine. She had experienced lines from other guys, but they were always directed at her chest or some other body part, not her whole self. Joseph was a different type of guy completely. In the short amount of time that they had spent together, not once had she seen his eyes placed anywhere else but her face. This man was making her feel like a giddy little school girl with her first crush. Kay and Joseph continued to talk as numerous people came in and out of the bar. Many stopped and congratulated Joseph on what turned out to be the best score posted that day. Through these conversations, Kay learned that Joseph was in eighth place going into the weekend. She was impressed that Joseph paid only polite attention to people as they came to talk to him. He always made it clear that his intention was to get back to his conversation with Kay. Neither noticed that it was getting quite dark out as they sipped their Dr. Peppers at their corner table. Eventually the bar tender came over to them. "Hate to break it to you kids, but it is midnight and we're closing up now." "Oh my god. We're sorry to keep you so late," Kay said. She dropped some money on the table to cover the drinks along with a hefty tip for making the bartender stay late. Joseph tried to pay for the drinks but Kay would have nothing of it. "You got me these great tickets for today's round. The least that I could do was buy you a Dr. Pepper." Kay smiled at Joseph. "And when I say least, I do mean least." "Don't worry about it Kay. I had a wonderful time with you tonight. I hate to tell you though that that was the best round I'd played all year. You must be my lucky charm; so it leaves me no choice but to say that you are required to come back tomorrow." Instead of feeling repulsed by Joseph's "order," Kay was happy that Joseph wanted to spend time with her again. She knew that she had fully crossed the "inappropriate line," but she was beginning to have serious feelings about this new man in her life. They were going beyond the butterflies that one gets when they meet a witty cute guy. She was having the feelings of real attraction to Joseph and she was not the least bit scared anymore. "Well, if you require my services tomorrow, then I guess I'll just have to come. Be forewarned, I charge $150 an hour. You'd better play well this weekend if you want to be able to afford me." "Just hold onto the pass you have now and that will get you in tomorrow and Sunday." Kay liked that Joseph was already asking her to attend Sunday's round as well. "Would you be such a gentleman and escort me to my car? I'm way out in the spectator parking lot." "We can't have you walking all that way by yourself, so I'd love to." The two lovebirds began their walk towards Kay's car. "Tomorrow, follow the signs for the players' parking. Your pass will get you into that lot." Kay and Joseph walked hand in hand through the blackness of the night. They were silent as they walked. Kay felt safe and secure with Joseph's strong hand intertwined with her's. As they reached her car, Kay turned to Joseph to say goodbye. "Joseph, I really had a wonderf..." Kay's words were stopped by Joseph grabbing her by the waste and pulling her close to him. He gently placed his lips upon Kay's and passionately kissed her. She was both surprised by the suddenness of the kiss and how tenderly, yet passionately, he kissed her. After just a moment of being kissed, Kay began to return the passion of Joseph's kisses. She ran her fingers through his soft, slightly greyed hair. Though he was kissing a woman he had just met the day before, Joseph was still treating Kay like a lady. His hands caressed all around Kay's back, but never wandered to an area where they shouldn't be. After a good while of kissing, Joseph broke the kiss at just the right time to leave Kay still wanting more. Her body instinctively leaned into Joseph looking for his lips, but they were nowhere to be found. He had taken a step back from Kay. "I've been wanting to do that ever since I first knocked you into the mud two days ago," Joseph said with a smile. "That reminds me, I have the dry cleaning bill for you in my purse" was Kay's smart ass response. "I had a really great time with you tonight Kay. You are truly an amazing woman and I'd love to get to know you better. I hope that you'll give me that chance." "There's no way you're getting rid of me after that kiss," Kay winked at Joseph. With that being said, Kay got into her car and as Joseph leaned down to say on last goodbye, she grabbed him by the neck and gave him the most passionate kiss of his life. As payback, just as Joseph realized what was happening, Kay ended the kiss with a "good night Joseph." She closed her car door and drove away into the night. She thought about nothing but the happiness that had developed within her that night. It was not until she rounded the corner onto her street did the gravity of the situation hit her. She was now heading to her home where Steve would be waiting for her. She had no idea how she would explain being out this late. She never had appointments that ran into the evening like this. Would Steve even notice that something out of the ordinary was happening? When Kay walked into her house, she felt like she was walking to the gallows. Even though things had been bad of late with Steve, she felt like she still loved him. The house was quiet and she saw no signs of Steve, though she knew he was home since his car was in the driveway. She went to their bedroom to see if he was in there. As she walked in she could hear the shower turn off. "Steve I'm home." Through the crack in the bathroom door, she could see Steve take his beer bellied self out of the shower and wrap himself in a towel. He then walked into the bedroom where he greeted Kay with a smile and a kiss. "Hey Kay. We ended up working late at the jobsite today and since I knew you wouldn't be home, I went out with the guys for a few beers afterward. Where've you been?" "My secretary Stacy was having problems with her husband," (which was at least true,) "so I took her out for some drinks. Sorry I'm home so late though. We completely lost track of time." "No problem babe. Since we're both up and wide awake, how about we make some good use out of this time." Kay's brain screamed to not go along with what Steve was suggesting, but her body was still flooded with a high like non-other from kissing Joseph. When Steve dropped his towel and advanced towards her, Kay did not make a move to stop him. When Steve roughly kissed her, she did not pull away. Steve grabbed Kay by the hands and dragged her towards their bed. He roughly threw her onto the bed, pounced on her and began manhandling her body. As Steve began having his way with Kay, she was surprised where her mind wandered. As Steve was roughly kissing her breasts, she pictured Joseph being the one that was with her. For the first time in many months of "making love" to Steve, a genuine moan escaped from Kay's lips. As he entered her she screamed with delight picturing Joseph muscular body over her. As she was driven over the edge by "Joseph" she screamed "Joe...Jesus Christ," as she tried to cover for her fantasizing. Luckily, Steve was too enamored with his own sexual prowess to notice that his girlfriend almost called out another man's name. Without a word, Steve climbed off of Kay, put on his clothes and headed downstairs. Kay lay in bed for some time, soaking in the afterglow of her first orgasm in several years. She felt dirty feeling that the orgasm was induced not by her boyfriend of three years, but a guy she had met just a day prior. Though in actuality, Kay didn't care at that moment. Her body was one big pile of relaxed bliss. She quickly fell into an almost meditative state as she did not think about anything except how she felt at that moment. Her solitude was broken when Steve yelled up from downstairs "you wanna do that again?" Once a pig, always a pig. PART II Kay woke up in the morning and immediately felt anticipation for the day that she did not usually have. She bounded down the stairs excited for what was to come. Steve saw the glow that Kay had and was once again proud of his work from the night before. She told him that she was going to go into the office to catch up on dictating her patient notes. Steve knew not to bother her when she was doing that, so that was a perfect excuse to be gone for the day. Kay found the player's parking lot without problem. She showed her pass to a very polite attendant and was ushered into the lot. This was a much better situation for her since she was within sight of the clubhouse. As she parked her car, her phone buzzed alerting her to a waiting text message. Kay's mood dropped at the thought of getting a message from Steve as she was on her way to see Joseph. "K, come c me @ driving range. J" Kay had forgotten that she had exchanged numbers with Joseph the previous night. His invitation warmed her up and pushed Steve out of her mind. This time already being inside the ropes made it easy for her to find the driving range. "Spouses" weren't allowed out onto the range itself, but there was an area between the range and the grandstands where they were welcome. She saw Joseph looking athletic and strong in his blue golf shirt and neatly pressed pants. His biceps were so big that the sleeves of his shirt clung to his arms. It took several minutes before Joseph saw Kay standing behind him. She was wearing a pair of white shorts with a red sleeveless blouse. She was stunning. Joseph found himself falling hard for this woman, but seeing her stand there he was astounded that a woman that good looking would give him the time of day. Joseph handed his club to his caddie and walked towards Kay. Kay saw Joseph coming and was nervous about what would happen when he got to her. Her nervousness was quickly wiped away when he came to her and gave her a sweet kiss on the lips. She felt nothing but love when his lips touched her's. "I'm glad that you made it alright. Even though I saw you just a few hours ago, I feel like a high school kid that just has to be by his girlfriend every second." "If it will make you feel better Joseph, I won't deny feeling the same way. Though strangely enough, you helped me sleep really well last night. Best sleep I've had in years." Kay said this with a devilish twinkle in her eye that Joseph noticed. If he had known what Kay was talking about, she would be extremely embarrassed. "What's the plan for today?" "Well, I tee off in just a bit. You're welcome to follow around whomever you'd like. After I'm done, I was thinking that we could go get a bite to eat. The locker room attendant was telling me about this great little Italian place down the road from here." "You've been talking about me with the guys in the locker room?" "Well...no....yes...but..." "No worries. If I had time, I'd be telling some stories about you to all my friends." Kay said this with a wink and a smile that let Joseph off the hook. "I'm gonna head to the first hole. I heard that some guy with a really hot ass is about to tee off." "What? Who? Oh, me." "Yeah you. If you weren't so sweet I'd..." Kay let the thought end there as she gave Joseph a big good luck kiss. "I'll talk to you in a few hours." Kay started to walk towards the first hole. She looked back just as Joseph hollered his goodbye. "Bye Kay. See you in a bit. Love you." If they could have seen each other's eyes, they would have had a good contest to see whose eyes got bigger with that comment. Joseph was shocked that he said "love you" to her. He had no idea why those words came out of his mouth. At the same time, he was not sure that it was an incorrect statement. He definitely felt very strong feelings for her. It had been so long since he felt true love that he was not really sure what it felt like. Who was he to question what his heart said. Kay was just as stunned at what she heard; or thought she heard. As she walked on, she tried to figure out if he really had said "love you." What did it mean if he did? It could have been an accidental slip of the tongue. That was possible. He could have said it to try get in her pants, but she did not think that Joseph was that type of guy. Judging by how he looked shocked, but then broke out in a faint smile, Kay thought that maybe, just maybe he surprised himself with a moment of honesty. She felt some very strong emotions for Joseph. She just was unable to place a finger on what type they were. She knew that it was more than lust, but was it love? She had no idea where this "thing" with Joseph was headed, but she was sure that she would enjoy the journey. As she walked the fairways, Kay continued to wonder about what she was doing, what Joseph's intentions were and where she wanted her life to go. She was not as torn about what she was doing as she thought that she should be. There was no doubt that she was still in a relationship with Steve. But there was also no doubt that she had very strong feelings for Joseph; maybe even an infant form of love. She never wanted to be a woman that went from one man to another. And yet, here she was beginning a relationship with a man while she lived with another. She wasn't proud of herself, but what worried her most as her feelings for Joseph grew was the fact that she had not told him about Steve. At first, her interactions with Joseph were just a frustrated woman's dalliance. But now it is something much more and she did not know what to do about it. Bumped Off Course Kay watched Joseph play his round, but she never really saw what was going on. She heard a few groans, but many more cheers. By the time the round neared its completion, Kay finally looked at a scoreboard. Joseph was staying near the top of the leaderboard; even moving up a bit. On the eighteenth hole, he made birdie to move within three shots of the lead and secure his spot in the second to last group on Sunday. This would be by far Joseph's best chance to win a tournament in his career. Just like Friday, Kay greeted Joseph as he came off the final green. Only this time she greeted him with a kiss. "I thought that you said you weren't that good? Ever since I showed up, you've been nothing but spectacular. I'm starting to think that this 'I suck' routine of yours is nothing but a way to get out of the dry cleaning bill." "You're so flippin funny," and Joseph gave Kay one gigantic hug and picked her up and whirled her around. "You seem to be in a bit of a good mood." "It's all because of you Kay. I haven't played like this in years, if ever. You've certainly earned that dinner I promised you." "Good, because I've been walking my butt off for three days now. How do you guys do it week in and week out?" "With a lot of practice. You develop a lot of stamina playing so much. You need to develop a good staying power to be able to go all day." Kay snickered at the double entendre that Joseph did not even know he said. Her thoughts flashed back to the previous night when she and her imagination had made love to Joseph. If he only knew the heights that he brought Kay to, he would probably be both embarrassed and proud. "What?" "Nothing, let's go get that dinner. I hope you brought your credit card with you because I'm gonna eat at least a new pair of pants worth of food." Kay waited for Joseph to finish signing his score card. When he came out, he grabbed Kay's hand and led her back to the parking lot. He didn't want to leave Kay, but he knew that she could not leave her car at the golf course. He told Kay the name of the restaurant and asked her to follow him. Being excited about dinner with Kay, he had scouted out the location of the restaurant on his drive to the golf course that morning. When they arrived at the restaurant, Joseph jumped out of his car so that he could be there to open Kay's door for her. Knowing him for only three days now, she already knew that his old school manners were something that she loved about Joseph. They walked into the restaurant hand in hand like a couple of teenagers. She had long since forgotten about Steve and what they had together. She kept telling herself that things had been over for a long time. She just had not taken the time to properly end her relationship with Steve. Joseph and Kay were seated right away in a quiet secluded corner. Joseph took the initiative and ordered a nice bottle of white wine for them to share. Once again, Kay was intrigued by how unlike Steve Joseph was. She knew that she had to stop comparing the two guys with each other, but she could not help it. In every way, Joseph came out on top. While they waited for their dinner they leapt right into a series of deep philosophical discussions. They touched on everything from religion and politics to their desires to have their own families one day. Even when they disagreed with each other, it never became awkward. Every time that Joseph made Kay laugh, she would instinctively reach across the table and touch Joseph's hand. They had finished their dinner and the conversation began to wind down when Joseph asked Kay if she would like a dessert. Without thinking she replied "no, but how about coffee back at your place?" She had no idea why she said that. She does not even like coffee that much. And she did not know what she intended to do when she got to Joseph's place. Joseph stammered a bit at the thought of taking Kay back to the house he had rented for the week. He immediately tried to remember if he had left his dirty laundry all over the house. Though they had driven to the restaurant separately, Kay followed Joseph to his car where he opened the door for her to get in. For the first time since they had met, there was an awkward silence between the two. They were two people driving towards a future that they both knew was coming, but couldn't believe was happening. For Kay, she had something much deeper on her mind. Though she had already made up her mind to leave Steve after the weekend, regardless of what were to happen with Joseph, they were still a couple that was living together. They had even had sex the night before. She had always told herself that she was not the kind of girl that would cheat on her significant other. Even the time in college when she had discovered text messages on her boyfriend's phone about how he had slept with another woman; she did not do the cliché thing of getting back at him by sleeping with one of his friends. What was she doing? She didn't know. But she felt as if she was powerless to stop what had already been set in motion. And what's more, she didn't want to stop what was happening. They arrived at Joseph's house after just a few minute's silent drive. When they pulled in the driveway, Kay for the first time realized that her hand had been resting on Joseph's leg the entire drive. It was such a natural and good feeling that she didn't even notice what she had done. She looked at Joseph's face and saw that he was as white as a ghost. For someone that spent their entire life out in the sun, this was a surprise to Kay; though she thought that it was cute that Joseph was so nervous taking her back to his place. Joseph led Kay into his small rented house. He quickly turned on the lights and headed towards the kitchen to make Kay her promised cup of coffee. If only he could figure out where the coffee pot was since he wasn't much of a coffee drinker either. As he was fumbling around looking for the coffee pot, she told him to forget about it and to come sit on the couch with her. He said okay and headed to the couch. They began another deep conversation, but this time it was more personal. They talked about what their hopes and dreams were for the future. After an hour's worth of conversation, Joseph interrupted by saying "forgive me in advance for being so blunt, but." With that he leaned in and delicately kissed Kay's soft lips while he stroked her face with his hand. Kay was caught off guard by this sudden bout of confidence from Joseph but she loved the way his soft lips felt against her lips and how they contrasted with his rough manly hands that gently touched her face. After several minutes of awkwardly bending to kiss each other Kay climbed on top of Joseph's lap and straddled him so that she could fully kiss the man that had flipped her entire world upside down. After Kay straddled Joseph, they were able to kiss each other like a couple of teenagers whose parents were gone for the night. Their hands roamed all around each other's bodies. Even with her still fully clothed, Joseph could feel the wonderful curves that Kay's blouse and shorts were hiding. As Joseph slipped his hands under Kay's blouse and felt her skin for the first time, Kay gave one last deep passionate kiss and then sat back up. Joseph continued to run his hands along Kay's sides as he realized that she had a much better figure than he had ever imagined it could be. While he was running his hands lightly across her body, Kay was at work trying to unbutton her blouse. That was something that she had done thousands of times before, but was causing her much frustration at that time. Kay finally got her blouse unbuttoned and she pulled it open. Joseph stared at the black lace bra that Kay was wearing. He wanted nothing more than to stare at this braed goddess forever at the same time that he wanted to rip that bra off. He leaned forward and nuzzled against her neck; placing gentle kisses all along her neck and shoulder. As he breathed, he became intoxicated with the mixture of her perfume and her own womanly smell. As he more forcefully kissed and sucked on Kay's neck, Joseph pulled her arms down so that her blouse could fall to the floor. With that, Kay returned the favor and pulled Joseph's shirt off over his head. She giggled a bit when she realized that his dark tan stopped half way up his arms and his chest was stark white. "Sorry," Joseph was able to mumble between kisses, "another one of those occupational hazards." "Don't worry about it" Kay mumbled too. "It is just a part of what makes you you." Kay was running her fingers all around his chest as she kissed his neck. Though he was tall and thin, Kay did not realize just how muscular that Joseph really was. He suddenly and surprisingly showed her how strong he was by lifting her up off the couch and gently setting her back on the couch so that she was laying down. Joseph immediately let his hands wander all around Kay's body. While one hand was stroking her hair, the other was running along her legs. When one was touching her arm, the other was gently squeezing her breasts for the first time. While doing all this, Joseph never let his lips leave Kay's for one second. The only sound that could be heard was the mutual moans of pleasure that were escaping from between their lips. Kay quickly lost all sense of time as she reveled in Joseph's attention to her entire body. She was particularly enjoying him kissing down her cleavage as he caressed her breasts through her bra. She was startled when all of the pleasurable sensations were suddenly replaced by a sense of nothingness. She had to blink her eyes several times to make out the figure of Joseph standing above her with his out stretched hand offering her help off of the couch. She grasped his hand and was powerfully lifted from the couch. Joseph took Kay by the hand and led her down the hall to the bedroom; leaving their shirts in a heap on the living room floor. Upon arriving in the bedroom, Joseph began discreetly kicking the dirty clothes under the bed while Kay excused herself to the bathroom. Whispering to herself, Kay asked the question "what the hell are you doing? I'm not this type of girl on so many levels. I don't sleep with a guy I met two days ago. And I certainly don't sleep with a guy while my boyfriend is waiting for me at home wondering where the hell I am." After a deep breath she looked deep into her own eyes in the mirror and said "Damn it! For once in my life I am going to do something for me. I deserve to be happy." As Joseph was quickly trying to straighten up his bedroom and have it not look like a total slob was staying there, he heard the sound of the bathroom door opening. He turned to see Kay standing in the doorway silhouetted by the light. She was standing there in all her glory wearing just the black lace bra that he had already been introduced to and a matching pair of black lace panties. Because of her curvy figure and her unmanageable curly hair, Kay never felt like she was very attractive to guys. When she saw the look on Joseph's face as she stood there nearly naked in front of him, she momentarily forgot that she had always considered herself the ugly duckling amongst her friends. Joseph was so dumbfounded with the beautiful woman standing before him that he remained frozen in place. Kay did her best sultry walk over to where Joseph stood next to the bed. Still frozen in place, Joseph sighed with pleasure when Kay gently kissed his neck. She then began leaving a trail of kisses down his chest until she was so low that she had to go to her knees. As she kissed his rock hard abs, she unbuckled his pants and pulled them down; leaving his black boxer briefs straining to contain his excitement. She retraced her steps by kissing his legs on her way back up. Kay "accidently" brushed her face against his manhood as she stood back up. As Joseph savored the thought of her mouth so close to him, Kay breathed in the scent of his manliness. Ever the gentle man, Joseph pulled Kay to her feet and laid her face first onto the bed. Never one to like feeling out of control of the situation, Kay felt supremely comfortable in this vulnerable position in front of Joseph. As she lay down, Joseph got his first good look at Kay's ass. It was everything that he had hoped it would be. Her ample bosom tapered down to a narrower waste and then curved back out to the best ass he had seen in his entire life. Kay jumped with surprise at the sensation of his hands softly working their way up the backs of her legs. They were quickly followed by tender kisses. Joseph's hands led the way and as he was kissing the backs of her thighs, his hands reached her barely covered ass for the first time. He was excited as he felt both the lace of her panties as well as the tender skin of the portions of ass cheeks that were sticking out. As he continued to place kisses along her body, Joseph left his hands on Kay's ass to more firmly squeeze and play with. Little did he know, but having this done was one of Kay's biggest turn-ons. When he was kissing the back of her neck, Joseph stopped squeezing Kay's ass which led to a disappointed whimper escaping from her mouth. It was quickly replaced by a gasp as Joseph simultaneously forcefully kissed her neck and ground his manhood into her ass. Knowing that he couldn't take much more and suspecting that Kay was also wildly excited, Joseph stood up and in one quick motion unhooked Kay's bra and pulled down her panties revealing the gorgeous tanned ass that he had been longing for since he had first met her. Kay was surprised when she rolled over only to discover that Joseph had also removed his boxers. He was standing there at the foot of the bed looking like he didn't know if it was okay to take the next step. She answered that for him when she sat up and once again began kissing his tight stomach. She reached around and became an immediate fan of the tight ass in her hands. As Kay was kissing his stomach, Joseph was running his hands through her curly brown hair and stroking her face. Every few moments, she would be poked in the chin by his throbbing. Normally she hated to have her mouth anywhere near a guy's crotch, but with Joseph it felt different. Even with his hands continuing to run through her hair, she never felt that he was pressuring her to head further down. Kay rewarded his gentle love making with a series of wet kisses placed along his shaft to give him a taste of what may lay in his future. With that, Kay leaned back onto the bed and pulled Joseph on top of her. It was as if their bodies were meant for each other. With their hips lined up, Kay's neglected breasts were able to rub against Joseph's strong chest, the weight of him on top of her was not so much to crush her, but enough to make her feel safe under him and all he had to do was turn his head a bit and he could passionately kiss this newfound lover. He moved his hips to place his tip right at her opening. As he slowly entered her, Joseph noticed a tear forming in the corner of Kay's eye. For the usually thick headed Joseph, it was a big moment for him when he realized that it was not a tear of sadness, but actually a tear of joy as Kay found something that had been missing from her life. Though he was proud to think that Kay had just found with him the great sex that had been missing from her life, he would have been shocked to learn that she had found in Joseph the strong safe love (not lover) that she had never known. After what could only be described as somewhere between moments and an eternity later, Kay placed her delicate hands on Joseph strong biceps. She squeezed his arms, arched her back and rolled her head from side to side as she was overcome by a tidal wave of sensation running through every inch of her body. She could feel her skin becoming flush and hot. If she had opened her eyes she would have seen Joseph looking lovingly at her as he did his best to hold back that moment longer until just as Kay was beginning to calm down, Joseph exploded inside of her. Kay was shocked as the explosion inside of her caused her to be enveloped by a second immense wave of pleasure. She was thrilled to be able to experience "a first" with a man that was without a doubt the best man, as well as the best lover, that she had ever gone to bed with. When Joseph rolled off of Kay, he did not disappear like she was used to guys doing. As Kay lay content on her side, he slid up alongside of her. He brushed away her hair so that he could place a delicate kiss on her neck. When he reached around and placed a breast in his hand, she didn't feel like she was being groped. She felt safe in his strong arms. Also strangely for her as she felt his stickiness pressed up against her ass, she wasn't repulsed by the feeling. Instead it served as a reminder of what they had just done together. As Kay lay there enjoying the feeling of being wrapped in Joseph's arms, her eye lids started to become quite heavy. The faint sound of her cell phone ringing in her purse came from the living room. At that time of night, it could only be Steve trying to find out where she was. Kay's heart broke with the realization of what she had just done to a man that she had at one time loved; as well as the fact that she had lied to Joseph about being single. She was devastated with the fact that her love for Joseph had begun with a lie. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she drifted off to sleep. Kay awoke when a ray of sunshine streamed through the window and enveloped the bed. She was surprised to find a sheet had been placed on her at some point during the night. She was delighted to find that Joseph was still lying by her side. She was a bit shocked though to see him up on his elbow watching her sleep. "Oh shit," was the first thing that came out of Kay's mouth. "You've gotta go. Your tee time!" "Whoa Nellie. I know that it is a new experience for me, but since I'm near the lead, I don't tee off until 1:30. So, we have plenty of time together this morning." Joseph leaned down and planted a delicate kiss on her soft full lips. Comparing Joseph to Steve once again, Kay knew that this was a kiss with no other pretext. She knew that Joseph wasn't trying to get in her panties at that moment. Though that would not have been much of a problem seeing how her panties were in a heap on the floor. Kay enjoyed the feeling of Joseph's naked muscles pressing against her body. With his kisses and touch, all of the feeling of the previous night came rushing back through her body. Joseph gave Kay one last passionate kiss before standing up; taking the bed sheet with him and dropping it on the floor. He looked back over his shoulder at Kay. He was still stunned that this exquisite woman with the exquisite skin, curly hair and curvacious body went to his bed last night. He wasn't sure how Kay felt, but he knew for sure that he did not want this to be a one night stand. "How 'bout that cup of coffee I promised you?" Joseph was surprised that Kay did not try to hide her body after he took the blanket. She continued to lay there on her side with her breasts and ass on full display. Kay sat up and watched Joseph walk out of the bedroom. She thought "Wow!" to herself; both as a comment on the fine ass walking down the hall as well as a statement on what she had done over the previous day. Joseph suddenly stopped short in the hall and turned back to Kay. "Sorry, did you say something Kay?" He watched as Kay's face turned two shades of red. She gave Joseph a little half wave and fell back onto the bed. She laughed at herself and how she was acting like a little school girl. She did not remember the last time she had been this happy. Minutes later, Joseph walked back in the room carrying two cups of coffee. He handed one to Kay and grabbed the sheet off of the floor. Bumped Off Course "Here you go. I didn't mean to take that from you." "Thanks," as Kay took the sheet and set in down in a heap next to her. "So, what is your schedule for today?" This new woman in his life kept amazing him as she continued to sit there in all her nakedness. Even though he was in pretty good shape himself, he was a bit self-conscious sitting there completely exposed. "I wish I could stay here in bed with you all day, but I don't really think that is an option. If we get moving, I was thinking that we could go grab breakfast before I have to be at the course. I need to get there about an hour and a half before my tee time." "Sounds like a good idea to me. Why don't you go hop in the shower?" Joseph took one last sip of his coffee and headed off to the shower. As Kay watched his tight ass sway back and forth as he was walking, she let slip another "Wow." "I heard you that time," Joseph said without turning around. As she heard the shower turn on, Kay headed to the living room where she dug her phone out of her purse. She saw that she had ten messages waiting for her. She listened to them and heard Steve's messages go from worries about where she was to anger as the night went on. She texted Steve saying that she had some thinking to do and that she slept at her office. She hoped that he bought her explanation; at least for another day. Now being flustered with hearing Steve's voice, she threw her phone back into her purse. She stood up and angrily tried to straighten her clothes. She could only shake her head when she realized that she had forgotten that she was not wearing and clothes. That thought quickly brought her back to where she was and to what she now considered important in her life. Kay was happy to see that Joseph hadn't closed the bathroom door when he headed to the shower. Since she did not have any clothes to slip off, she delicately pulled back the corner of the shower curtain. She was happy to see that Joseph was busy washing his face at that time and didn't notice her enter the shower. As he finished scrubbing his face, Kay reached around Joseph's body and grasped with both her hands his suddenly growing member. He nearly jumped out his skin at her touch. "How you doin' handsome?" and Kay began placing kisses on his muscular shoulders. She continued to stroke him as he turned around and gently held her face while he began kissing her. After kissing and groping for some time, Kay turned around, bent over grabbing the soap dish. Joseph could barely see Kay through the steam that had filled the shower; but he managed to find her ass sticking out at him. He knew just what to do at that time and strongly entered his new love. Kay was not shy in hiding her feelings as their bodies drove each other quickly over the edge of ecstasy. Fortunately, they were still in the shower so it was easy for the couple to get cleaned up. Joseph was all too happy, as was Kay, that he got the chance to wash Kay's chest for her. Sadly for both of them, Kay's breasts had been neglected the previous night. Holding her soapy breasts in his hands, Joseph knew that he had missed out on something special. Kay spent more time than necessary in washing Joseph's tool that had only moments before driven her to yet again new heights. The new couple was all smiles as they exited the shower. They quickly dried off and Joseph began to get dressed. "I wish that I had something for you to wear. Maybe you can pick something up from the merchandise tent when we get to the course." "I think that I'll manage until then," Kay said as she walked naked around the house picking up pieces of yesterday's wardrobe that were strewn about. She kept shaking her head at the thought of all that she has been doing. Amazingly to herself, she did not have an ounce of regret towards what she had done. PART III When they were both put together, they headed to Joseph's car to go to a late breakfast. They found a mom and pop diner not too far from the course and were happy to see that they had the place virtually to themselves. Once again their conversations were ever so comfortable. It was as if they had known each other their entire lives. Surprisingly, the topic of Joseph's recent divorce came up. He was a bit reluctant to talk about it, yet he completely opened up to what was the most caring woman he had ever met. He could easily see why she was such a well-respected therapist. "We got married because it just seemed like that was the next step in our relationship. We'd been together all throughout high school and college. After college, we figured that we should move in together to save money. And if we were living together anyway, we might as well get married. I think that I did love her at one time, but it wasn't the type of love that is deserving of marriage. I'm still casual friends with her, but that flame between us had long since burned out by the time we divorced." "You may just be the most well-adjusted guy around. I've always thought it admirable when a divorcing couple can manage to stay civil throughout the rough times. I think that it says a lot about who they are as a person. Since you did love her at one time, that shows that you just didn't listen to what type of love you were feeling. Maybe you made a mistake getting married, maybe you didn't, but at least you learned some things about yourself." "You're exactly right about that. I learned a lot. First off, I learned that you shouldn't take the issue of marriage lightly; which I think that we had done. And after she stopped traveling with me, I learned just how lonely the road could be. I missed having her there walking the fairways and being with me at night, but my loneliness wasn't enough of a reason to stay together." "Did you ever cheat on her during those lonely nights?" Kay had no idea why that question had come out of her mouth. She didn't really want to know the answer and she feared where the question could take the conversation. "There were some times, some opportunities, where I really thought about it. I was so missing the warmth of someone by my side that I almost cheated. But I could never take that first step. I made vows to my wife and no matter how bad things were getting; I couldn't break those vows. After a while of having those thoughts, that is what made me realize that it was time for a divorce. She wasn't too happy about it, nor was I, but we both knew that it was the right decision for us." As Joseph spoke, he kept looking at Kay's facial expressions change. He wasn't sure how his answer had touched Kay, but he knew it moved her in some manner. His worst fear was realized when after being silent for a minute, Kay suggested that it was time to head to the course. Joseph casually looked at his watch and realized that it was actually much past time to head to the course. The last two rounds he did not do his proper warm-up before the round and yet he played remarkably well. He had vowed to not make that mistake with his first chance to win a tournament, but he had been easily distracted by the deep conversations with Kay. Joseph and Kay had decided to go to dinner after the round at the same restaurant from the previous night, so they would pick her car up then. They pulled into the golf course just forty minutes before Joseph's tee time. With no time to properly warm-up, he reluctantly kissed Kay on the lips and pointed her towards the merchandise tent. He said that he would meet back up with her on the first tee. Ever since their conversation ended at the diner, Kay felt sick to her stomach. How could she manage to keep her relationship with Joseph alive after the way it has started? She obviously didn't live up to the high standards that he kept for himself. Though she had never been married, she knew that the relationship she had with Steve was a marriage in every way but name. Kay fretted about what would happen to Joseph and her the entire time that she was walking towards the tent. She was dismayed to see that all the racks of clothes were half empty. For most of the blond twigs she had seen walking the course for the previous three days, this wouldn't be that big of a problem, but for a curvy woman like Kay, she feared that there would be nothing for her. After browsing the racks, she finally found something that might do. She quickly paid for it and headed to find somewhere to change. Joseph was standing on the first tee waiting for his group's turn. Surprisingly, he was not nervous about the upcoming round and what it could mean for his life. He was worried that he had not seen Kay since they split in the parking lot. He was most worried that she was hurt by his cheating answer and had left the course. He knew if that was the case, there was no hope to him playing well. With just a minute to spare before his group would be called to the tee, Kay nervously pushed her way up to the rope line. She was looking down almost the entire time so as not to step on anyone. Joseph saw her before she saw him. He even noticed his two playing competitors comment to each other about the hot woman walking up. Joseph swelled with pride knowing that they were talking about his Kay. He was proud of himself to be with such an amazing woman. When Kay met Joseph's eyes, she was taken aback. He had the biggest dopiest grin on his face. She could tell that he was truly ecstatic to see her. Joseph walked up to the rope line and accepted Kay's one last good luck kiss. "I picked this outfit out just for you. Like it?" As he looked her over from head to toe one more time Joseph said "do I ever. I might skip the round just to take you back to the house." Kay was pleased that he liked the short white golfing skort that she had picked out. Though he may have been more pleased with the pink half-zip golf shirt she was wearing. The shirt was at least a size too small for her ample chest; so much so that the zipper kept slipping down revealing more of her cleavage than she would prefer. Before she knew it, Joseph's name was being announced to a smattering of applause and he hit his first shot in his best chance ever to win a golf tournament. He was only three shots off the lead to start the day and his first shot was long and down the middle. Kay did not want to take credit for something that she had nothing to do with, but she had a suspicion that part of the reason Joseph was playing so well was because a hole in his heart had been filled. For some time, he had been physically and emotionally alone. This caused him to lose focus on what he needed to do. Now that he filled that hole, he could get back to what he instinctively knew how to do. Kay could only hope that Joseph felt the same way as she did. Though she had only known him for a few days, she knew with all of her heart that she had fallen head over heels in love with him. Kay was amazed at how much knowledge about golf she had accumulated in the previous three days. She could actually vaguely tell what was going on now. She knew enough to be excited when Joseph made birdie on the opening hole. She was still near the first green to see the leader playing in the group behind Joseph hit his shot into the greenside bunker which led to a bogey. Suddenly, after only one hole, Joseph was one stroke out of the lead. With the way that Joseph was calmly strolling down the fairway, one would never know the amount of stress that he was under. Kay could feel her blood pressure rising through the roof and she was not even playing. Through the rest of the front nine, Joseph and the leader separated themselves from the rest of the field. Joseph had made three birdies and no bogies to the leader's two birdies and one bogey. Joseph remained only one shot back and was poised for his biggest payday in his golfing career. There was a backup on the eleventh tee and Joseph's mind was free to wander for the first time during the round. He looked into the gallery and spotted Kay. He laughed as he could tell that she was struggling to keep her shirt zipped appropriately up. As great as she looked in that outfit, or shorts and a blouse or naked, he was struck by the fact that her looks had nothing to do with how he felt about her. In their hours of conversation over the last three days, he had come to realize that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He could not place why he loved her so much though. He loved how caring she was, how she listened so intently and how he felt in her presence. But none of those reasons were able to encompass the myriad of feelings that Kay brought out in him. Joseph was startled when the marshal tapped him on his shoulder and told him that it was his turn to hit. Joseph rushed through his preshot routine and badly hit his tee shot on the par three. His ball headed well right of the green and over the heads of the spectators. He was in total shock at the first bad shot that he had hit since Thursday. He sheepishly handed his club to his caddie and began the walk to his ball. He could tell that his mind was going in a dozen different directions. He feared the lack of focus that he was feeling at that moment. It was an all too familiar feeling that he had experienced over the last year. Kay was standing near the green when she saw Joseph's ball soar high over her head and rattle in the trees. She would never be able to understand the ramifications of what a shot like that could do to a golfer's fragile psyche. For top level golfers, often the difference between the elite and the also-rans is only a matter of confidence. Joseph had been walking on cloud nine all day and it was as if he suddenly reached the edge of the cloud but kept on walking and came crashing back to earth. Kay saw Joseph walking towards her and she was suddenly very worried. Though she knew he had hit a bad shot, she did not appreciate the state that he was in. Joseph never looked up as he walked towards the crowd. He happened to look up right as he passed Kay. He was in a foul mood but an immense weight came flying off of his shoulders when he saw Kay standing there looking radiant with a smile that went from ear to ear. Her smile reminded him that he suddenly had something important in his life and that this round of golf was not that important in the greater scheme of things. Joseph looked at his ball which came to rest under some overhanging braches of a tree. His only chance at getting his ball on the green, let alone close to the flag, was to bounce the ball through the long rough and hope it stops before running across the green. He settled over his ball and struck it just the way that he had intended. It flew low and then bounced twice in the long rough which killed most of the ball's momentum. The ball popped over the fringe and trickled towards the hole. Incredibly, the ball rolled to within six inches of the hole. Never one to show much emotion on the course, Joseph shocked himself when he began high-fiving the cheering fans on the way to the green. One hand in particular grabbed his hand for just a moment as he went by. This surprising feeling caused him to turn around and see the beautiful smile of his new love. The sea of people quickly pushed him towards the green and just as quickly as he had found Kay, she was enveloped by the crowd and was gone. Her momentary touch was enough to reinvigorate him and get him to focus on the task at hand. When he tapped in for par, he threw the ball into the crowd which set them off in another loud roar. Back on the tee, the leader was shaken by both the sound of cheers for his competitor and the long wait on the tee. When he finally struck his shot, there was an immediate groan from the crowd as it was clear his shot would end up well short of the green. Worse yet, the ball ended up plugging in the face of the greenside bunker. He was unable to even get his ball out of the bunker on his way to a double bogey. Now Joseph was in the lead by one shot with seven holes to play. Never to have been in the lead before, one would think that Joseph would be unable to handle the pressure that he now found himself under. Luckily for him, Kay stuck out like a sore thumb in the all-white golf crowd. Over the closing holes, every time that Joseph started to feel a bit of pressure, he would look for the tall caramel skinned woman with curly hair. When he found her, a calm would come over him and everything would be alright again. Without any major struggles, Joseph came to the eighteenth hole with a one shot lead. A drive in the middle of the fairway and an iron to twenty feet gave him a good chance to win his first career tournament. He saw his closest competitor in the group behind him hit his tee shot into the trees, all but assuring Joseph of the win. He lined up his putt, took one last look at the hole and noticed that Kay had made her way down the players' exit way and was waiting for him. He smiled as he stroked the putt. He looked right at Kay and mouthed "I Love You" as the ball rolled right in the center of the hole. Since everyone stood and cheered, no one but Joseph noticed Kay jumping up and down screaming her head off. After picking his ball out of the hole and accepting congratulations from his playing partners, Joseph made his way to Kay where he wrapped her in an immense hug and picked her up off the ground. He twirled her around as the TV camera zoomed in on the happy couple. They were both in tears by the time they released each other from the embrace and kissed. "What the hell!? You have some thinking to do!? That doesn't look like thinking to me." Steve was relaxing at home watching the golf tournament on TV. It was actually quite exciting watching a journeyman pro win his first tournament. He was upset that Kay had disappeared for two days, but after hearing that she was okay, he enjoyed the quiet of not having her in the house. Steve was understandably alarmed when he found out that Kay was "thinking" with another guy. Judging by the way they held each other after he won, they were obviously very close. Joseph and Kay walked hand in hand to the scorer's tent. Kay smiled when she realized that this was the place that they had first met three days ago. Joseph gave Kay one last kiss before leaving her so that he could make things official by signing his score card. Kay was left alone and was startled as numerous people were coming up to her to offer her congratulations on the win. One guy in particular stunned her. He had to of been another golfer because he had the same dark tan and rough hands that Joseph did. He firmly grasped her hand and said "congratulations on the win. I consider myself a good friend of Joseph's and if I may be so bold to say: I don't know who you are. I don't know where you've come from." Kay was extremely worried about where this conversation was going. Did someone really think that she was after Joseph's money and stature? Just the thought of that horrified her. She was about to defend herself when this friend of Joseph's spoke again. "But whoever you are, you've been wonderful for him. Obviously I've never seen him win before. But more importantly, I've never seen him this happy. He's been a different person these last few days. He's almost skipping down the fairways. I don't know what your plans are with him, but I hope that you stick around." As this stranger walked away from Kay, Joseph walked out of the scorer's tent. He had time for another hug for Kay before the cameras and reporters swarmed around him once again. Little did Kay know, but she was once again broadcast across the airwaves hugging a man that wasn't her boyfriend. At this point Steve was screaming at the TV. He was frantically trying to call Kay but the calls were going straight to voice mail. He still didn't know what was going on, but he was sure that Kay was trying to play him for a fool. Bumped Off Course After finishing a few quick interviews, Joseph and Kay were ushered back to the eighteenth green for the trophy presentation. At the last second, Kay begged off and stayed on the side of the green. "I love you Joseph, but this is your moment in the sun. Plus, I'm not exactly dressed for TV." Kay's smile instantly disappeared when Joseph turned away from her. She wasn't dressed for TV! She knew that Steve would be watching the golf tournament since it was being played in their home town and since it was such an exciting tournament. There had been cameras circling Joseph ever since he made his final putt. She had been by his side, or worse yet kissing him, ever since then. Had any of those pictures been broadcast? There was no way for her to know that the picture of a golfer kissing his wife or girlfriend after winning a tournament is one of the favorite scenes for a TV producer. Kay was shaking during the entire award presentation. She was startled when Joseph was back by her side. The trophy was still sitting on a table, but he was carrying an oversized check that was almost as big as the grin on his face. Joseph showed Kay the check. "What do you think?" After seeing the check for $800,000 she laughed and said "I guess I will be sending you my dry cleaning bill." Not caring about anything but the man that she now knew she loved, she wrapped Joseph in a big hug and gave him the most passionate kiss that was legal for a public space. "I know that I promised you dinner back at our restaurant tonight, but there are a bunch of things that I have to do here now. I have more interviews to do and the host club throws a party for the winner where all the sponsors will be too. Who knows, I may even be able to pick up some endorsements out of this. I know that it doesn't sound like much fun, but I'd love if you stayed with me tonight." "Stay with you tonight? Isn't that a little presumptuous of a woman you just met three days ago?" Kay said this with a very stern look on her face. Joseph was horrified and confused all at the same time. He was positive that he loved this woman and he would never do anything to intentionally hurt her. But he was confused since she had "stayed the night" with him the previous night and he was pretty sure that it wasn't just a friendly sleepover. As Joseph's face was wracked by a range of emotions, Kay let him off the hook by breaking into a wide smile. "You know what Joseph, if you're going to freak out every time I mess with you, we're going to have a problem." Kay began to walk towards the clubhouse. "Let's go party." As she passed by his shoulder, she stood on her tiptoes and whispered in his ear "you can be damn sure that I'll be "staying the night" with you." Joseph could just shake his head as he turned and chased down Kay. Just as he reached her, he ran into the PGA Tour commissioner. "Joseph, congratulations on the win. Your dedication to the tour and the hard work that you have put in throughout your career have been a real testament to you. We are proud to have you as our newest champion." "Thank you commissioner. It has been a long winding road to get here. Being on tour, Joseph was a veteran of meeting many a new person at social events. He was more than comfortable with the protocol. He would frequently have to introduce his wife to people that were really not that interested in meeting her. Joseph knew what he was supposed to do next, but he was at a loss for words. How was he supposed to introduce Kay? He knew that he loved her, but was not positive as to how Kay felt about him. Was it presumptive to call her his "girlfriend?" Would she be offended if he called her his "friend?" He was forced to take a leap of faith. "I'd like to introduce you to..." and Joseph paused for just a second to look at Kay. "...my girlfriend, Kay Mitchell." "It is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Mitchell. I've known Joseph here for a number of years now. You've got one of the good ones; don't let him get away from you." "I don't plan on letting him go, you can be assured of that," and Kay wrapped her arm around Joseph's waist as a sign that she would forever keep him close to her. Kay felt heartened to be able to vocalize her intentions. She knew that she and Joseph needed to have a long talk about what they meant to each other. She knew enough to know that he would be leaving for some other town the next day. She dreaded the thought of losing him just as fast as she had found him. She knew though that even as he moves on to the next town, she had no intention of letting him go from her heart. She also knew that they would have to have a very difficult talk about Steve. After three hours of being wined and dined by the host club and the tournament sponsors, Joseph led Kay through the parking lot to his car. It had long since become dark out and the parking lot was deserted. As they arrived at Joseph's car, he gently backed her against the side of the car and gave her a long kiss. When he broke the kiss, Kay could tell that he needed to say something. "Kay, if you had asked me on Wednesday where my life would be on Sunday, I would have told you that I'd have probably missed another cut and have been on down the road. I could not have been more wrong. I found something this week and it wasn't just my game. I found you. I love you Kay. I'm not saying that because you are some hot chick I happened to meet the week I won my first tournament. I won because I met you." "I wouldn't say all that now, you've been working all your life for this moment." "Shhh, let me say what I need to say. This isn't easy for me. I was going nowhere fast before I met you. I never realized how big of a hole was in my heart until you filled it. You allowed me to relax and stop worrying about my game. I now know that regardless of what happens out there on the course, as long as I have you, then I'll be fine. I don't know what our future holds, but I do know that if it doesn't include you, then it is not a future that I want." Kay had tears in her eyes as Joseph spoke. She knew that she had made a giant mess of her life. She also knew that she wanted nothing more than to give up everything to be with him. "I'm scared Joseph," Kay cried. "I'm not scared of you. I'm scared about how I feel about you. I never imagined that I could feel this way about someone that I didn't even know existed three days ago. I'm scared about how we are going to make this work. But I do love you with all my heart and I will do whatever it takes to make this work." After a long kiss at the side of the car, Joseph said "I guess you don't need dinner now." "How about we go get my car though before someone steals it?" "We can do that." PART IV Joseph had no idea that as jumbled as his life had become, it was going to become much more jumbled in the coming moments. He noticed that Kay was strangely quiet and reflective on the drive to the restaurant. As they pulled into the parking lot, Kay finally spoke as she fought back tears. "There's something else that I'm scared of. I'm scared of losing you because of something that I have done. Please don't for one second think that just because I have done this that it changes the way I feel about you. I've known you for only three days now and yet you are my everything. I Love you and yet I've hurt you without you even knowing it." The tears flowed freely now. Joseph did not know what Kay could have possibly done to have hurt him. He had never been so happy in his entire life and he didn't want the feeling to end. "Steve. His name is Steve. We've been living together for four years now." Joseph thought that he could actually hear his world come crashing down around him. "What do you mean? You said that you were single." "Actually I didn't. You never asked and I never said anything. I've known that things were bad with Steve for a long time now. I just never knew how much I was missing until I met you. You showed me that I deserve more than what I was getting from him. I knew that I wasn't honest with you from the start and it just kept getting harder and harder to say something. And then we ended up here. I'm just a girl who wasn't looking for love, but found a boy that was willing to give her the world. Please, can you find it in your heart to forgive me?" Kay was a babbling mess as she finished talking. Joseph was silent for a long moment. "I don't even know what to say. I understand though. It was clear from the start that we both were in over our heads. Neither of us was looking for anything, we just kind of bumped into each other." They were both able to crack a small smile at Joseph's bad humor. Kay was warmed by his smile and hoped that he would allow her to still be a part of his life. "I don't like what you did Kay. I won't lie about that. I've been completely honest with you from the start. But I can't bring myself to be mad at you. I think that we've all been in situations where we've made a small lie because it didn't seem like a big deal at the time. But then it turns into a big deal as time moves on. I'd be a fool if I left you over this Kay. I know that your heart is true. I'd like nothing more than for you to come home with me now." "No. I can't." Joseph's face flashed white again. "I have to go home and settle things with Steve. I loved him at one point in my life and I owe it to him. But I'd like to come over later tonight if that is okay." "Damn it Kay. You've got to stop doing that to me. I'm too old; my heart can't take it." Kay smiled and breathed deeply at his sarcastic sense of humor. He always kept her on her toes and she worked to do the same to him. They gave each other one last long kiss before Kay got out of the car. "I'll wait up for you," Joseph hollered out the door at Kay. "It may be awhile." "I don't care. I Love you." "I Love you to Joseph." Even though Kay was satisfied with the way the conversation with Joseph had gone, she was still crying as she got in her car. She was upset with herself for hurting Joseph. But deep down, she knew that if she had told the truth from the start, then she never would have been a part of Joseph's life now. And for that reason, she was glad she had not told him. She dreaded what she had to do now. She knew that she had already broken one man's heart tonight and she did not look forward to doing it a second time. Kay pulled her car in the driveway of her home and saw that all of the lights were on in the house even though it was close to midnight. Kay quietly crept into the house. She did not know why she was trying to be so quiet. She knew that once she saw Steve that things would quickly become very loud. She rounded the corner and looked into the living room. There sitting on the couch was Steve. He was facing the big screen TV that she had bought him for his birthday the previous year. He was watching Sports Center. Kay quietly watched as he picked up the remote and pushed a button. Suddenly the picture began to rewind through a fast series of what appeared to be a story on golf. Her heart sank at the realization that Steve already knew about her. Her fear became reality when he pushed another button making the TV start playing forward again. There filling the screen was a close up of Joseph kissing Kay after he made his final putt. Steve paused the TV so that there was a freeze frame of them kissing and holding each other. "I'm so sorry Steve. Please believe me when I say that I never meant to hurt you." "Shut the hell up. You didn't mean to hurt me? What the hell does that look like?" as Steve points at the oversized image of Kay and Joseph. Though she was in pain knowing that she hurt Steve, the sight of Joseph holding her warmed her heart just a bit. She knew that she was doing the right thing; no matter how much it hurt at that moment. "I know what it looks like. You're not wrong and I know that I've hurt you. But I wasn't looking for something to happen. It just did. I know that sounds like a cliché, but it's true." Steve was now sitting on the couch covering his face so that Kay couldn't see his tears. Kay sat down next to him. "I haven't been happy for a long time Steve. I don't know if you've noticed, but..." "I'm not stupid Kay. I noticed that you weren't happy. I just didn't know what to do about it. You never seemed like you wanted to be around me much. I tried to be close to you, but you wouldn't let me in." Kay was upset with the way Steve was talking about her. She knew that any distance she put between them was placed there after his emotional abandonment and mistreatment of her. Especially since his mistreatment of her at the golf tournament is what led her into Joseph's arms. But, she knew that she was in the wrong in starting her relationship with Joseph while still living with Steve so she allowed Steve to blame her. "I even planned special outings for us to do together. What do you think that golf tournament was about? I should have known something was up when you actually agreed to go with me. I didn't know that you were going just so you could hook up with your boyfriend." "Screw you Steve. I've sat here and let you blame me for everything and I've let you because I know how much I've hurt you. But get your facts straight. I agreed to go with you because I knew our relationship was on life support and I was trying to give of myself to you by spending time with you. You ignored and treated me like shit the entire day. When I stormed off from you, that is when I met Joseph for the first time. I never cheated on you during our entire time together. Can you say the same thing?" Kay was surprised when Steve did not say a word; as if confirming that he had actually cheated on her. Kay never suspected Steve of cheating. She had only said that because she was pissed. Now she was only more sure that she had made the right decision in going with Joseph for that first drink three nights earlier. "Your silence says a lot," as Kay's tears flowed freely. "I know I am wrong here Steve. I'm going to go now. You can stay in the house until you find a place of your own. I won't put you out on the street. That wouldn't be fair to do to you when we're both in the wrong." Kay turned and walked out of the house, never once looking back at Steve. Had she turned, she would have seen a broken man crying into his hands. As much as it hurt Kay to do what she did to Steve, she was done worrying about how he felt. He showed again that he did not deserve the love that Kay had given to him through the years. She wanted nothing more than to be back in Joseph's arms. Rain began to fall during the drive back to Joseph's house. It seemed appropriate since it matched her mood. It was nearly one AM by the time Kay got to the house. She parked the car in the driveway and tried to straighten herself up. She knew that it would do no good though. She ran through the driving rain to the front door and pushed the doorbell. Kay was momentarily afraid that Joseph had gone to bed since it was so late. Her fear was gone when she heard the sounds of footsteps running down the hall. Joseph had been pacing all around the house in the hours since he had last seen Kay. He thought that his world had ended when she confessed about her boyfriend. He knew that she was telling him that she would go back to her boyfriend. As quickly as Joseph's world tumbled down, it was built back up when she professed her love for him. He felt an emptiness in his rented home now and he knew that only one thing could fill that hole. Joseph was in the far corner of the house when he heard the doorbell ring. His heart skipped a beat as he ran towards the door. He swung the front door open and saw the woman of his dreams standing there; soaked from head to toe. He was a bit surprised though when she didn't come in the house. "I have to know something Joseph. Three days ago I was content in my unfulfilling life. I wasn't happy, but I could live with it. Then you came along and bumped into my life. I never dreamed that a love like this was possible and certainly not this fast. I give it all up for you. I want you. Believe it or not, I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. But I can't come in this house unless I know that you feel the same way. I'm not asking you to propose to me right now, I'm just asking that you not invite me in unless you want to make a go at us being together." "I won't invite you in." Now Kay's eyes went wide and her mouth hung open. Joseph smiled and said "you don't have to be invited into your own house. Well it's your house until tomorrow when I have to head to Orlando, but we can work out those small details later." Joseph stepped out onto the patio and embraced the dripping wet Kay. "How about we get you inside and get you out of those wet clothes," Joseph said with all seriousness. "Why, are you propositioning me Mr. Williamson?" "Actually I wasn't but I could be persuaded." Kay walked into the house leaving Joseph on the porch and headed towards the bedroom. With every step, she began the process of removing her drenched clothes. First she pulled the zipper on her shirt all the way down; the same one that had been driving her crazy all day. When she did this, she began to walk backwards so that Joseph could see her cleavage inviting him to come closer. She then pulled her shirt over her head to reveal her large breasts covered in a now wet and very see through bra. Joseph shook his head in disbelief as he closed the door and followed Kay down the hall. As he neared her, Kay dropped her skort to the floor and kicked it at Joseph; hitting him in the face. She laughed all the way to the bedroom as Joseph chased after her. Joseph grabbed Kay around the waste just as she got to the bed. He spun her around and they tumbled onto the bed where he quickly laid atop her. They were both still laughing as they began passionately kissing; letting all the emotions of the day come out through their lips. The new lovers were in no hurry to get the night over. They took their time exploring every last inch of each other's body. Once again Kay awoke to the sun streaming through the window. This time she woke before Joseph. She snuggled up alongside of him and draped her arm across his muscular chest. She still snickered at the sight of his white chest next to his deeply tanned arms. But what she really loved was the sight of her tan skin next to his white skin. As a biracial woman, she loved the ying and yang look as their bodies lay intertwined. Through her entire life she struggled to find men that appreciated her for who she was as a person and not just look at her skin. Too many people wrote her off because she was not "all white" or "not black enough." She knew Joseph loved her for her though. As she gently stroked Joseph's chest, he slowly began to stir. He broke out in a wide sleepy smile when he saw Kay snuggled up to his chest. He felt as if he never wanted to leave the bed or her arms. But he knew that wasn't going to be possible. His life was the life of a traveling salesman; another week, another town. Joseph wondered if Kay really knew what she was signing up for. He knew that he had to broach the subject with her, but did not want to open that door. Kay saw the look on Joseph's face and knew what he was thinking. "When do you have to leave?" "I'm supposed to be out of the house by noon." "Where's the tournament this week?" "Orlando. So at least it isn't too far. I don't suppose that you'd be able to come over with me?" "You know I wish that I could Joseph. But I already blew off a bunch of clients last week. I don't think that I could do that again. I could probably manage to come over Friday night and spend the weekend though."
