40 comments/ 49038 views/ 9 favorites You Jackass! By: Scorpio44a "You jackass!" She yelled from the back porch as I backed out of the garage headed for work. I waved as if I hadn't heard her words and kept going. Donna was my wife of twenty years, standing on the back porch of our modest home at the edge of town. She was wearing a pair of "big girl" panties and nothing else. Her double D or bigger breasts were exposed and looking great. I didn't have to ask why she called me a jackass. I knew. I had given her a hickey. We had had sex the night before. She had consumed three glasses of wine at the party we attended and wine gets her "in the mood." Her mood convinced her to invite me to bed as soon as we got home from the party. Actually, her invitation began at the party. After a glass with dinner she was ready to dance and laugh. The music started and we danced to whatever played. The person running the stereo took a break and Donna had glass number two. The hostess put on a CD of love songs and Donna wrapped herself around me. She molded her body against mine and as we danced she finished off the second glass of red wine. I was glad no one under thirty was at the party, we danced as if we were screwing standing up, without a care for who might be watching. When the faster music resumed, Donna drank glass number three in between tunes and we danced until I was worried about exhaustion or a stroke. When she realized she was in danger of falling down she said, "Take me to bed or lose me forever." It had been her favorite line from "Top Gun" until about two years before. I took her home and took her to bed. She played with my cock all the way home and got naked in the truck. We almost didn't get to the bed. Without wine Donna doesn't like sex anymore. With enough wine she needs it, wants it and doesn't care who watches. I don't need or want wine. I might have one beer at a party. There is a bottle of beer in our fridge that has been there since New Year's Eve... two years ago. To use a phrase my wife uses, "I was born in the mood. No alcohol needed." The phrase I'd use about her is, "She was born in the mood, something changed and alcohol is now needed." I got her on our bed and we started doggy style. She begged me to do her hard and fast. I gave her what she asked for. The mirror on our closet doors allows me to watch her big titties move as I thrust into her from behind. She watches my face in the mirror as I watch her big titties. She changed positions and I got between her legs and could watch my shaft diving into her very big hairy bush. I hadn't seen her slit in years, since our youngest was born and she's almost eighteen. In that position I could still watch her tits move with every thrust and I could reach them. I had learned years before that when Donna gets close to her orgasm pinching her nipples drives her crazy and intensifies the orgasm. I positioned myself so every time I hit bottom I also hit her clit. When she shook and her head went back I knew it was time. I thrust harder and pinched both of her nipples. God, she screamed. I was glad Tina was off on a camping trip. Our older daughter lived in Cheyenne and even Donna couldn't scream that loud. Her orgasm triggered mine and I did my best to fill her with cream. As she started down from her peak she pulled me down to her face and we kissed. I didn't pull out, I just stopped thrusting. We kissed some more and then I moved down and started kissing her tits. In her condition, drunk, she loves having her tits kissed and sucked. Sober she hates her tits. In cold weather she complains about them being cold and hates that her big nipples get hard and show. Nipples almost an inch long are hard to hide. In hot weather she complains about the sweat underneath her boobs and says they are heavy and uncomfortable. Every summer she complains about an itchy rash that develops under both breasts. She held my head to her breast and begged me to suck her like a baby. She breast-fed both Heidi and Tina when they were babies and even then she complained about her breasts. She had been a "D" cup when we married. Her first pregnancy pumped her up to "DD" until her milk came in and then she moved up to an "F". When she stopped breast feeding they did go back to "DD" but it took a while and then, Bam! She got pregnant again. I sympathized with her problem but there was nothing I thought of to fix things. Once while I was sucking her after sex and she was still feeling the wine she admitted that sometimes when she fed Heidi or Tina she would get really turned on and had even cum a few times. When I mentioned it later she said I was crazy and denied the whole thing. As I drove to work I thought about how she had begged me to suck harder and harder the night before and that's how she got the hickey. I also knew she would deny having ever asked me to suck her titties. When I got to work my boss was waiting in the parking lot for me. Jack is a good boss. I've worked for him fifteen years and he's always been straight with me, fair and honest. He walked to my truck and stood so close that if I opened the door I'd knock him down. So, I rolled the window down. "I have news for both of us, Pete. Headquarters is closing down our operation here. We both still have jobs, if we want them, but we'll have to move to Denver." "Denver? Same pay?" "They're sending us a package with all the details. So far what I know is we put our houses on the market. You and I go to Denver at the end of the month and when our houses sell our wives and Tina move. Moving expenses will be paid by the company. We'll live in furnished apartments in Denver paid for by the company during the transition. The other thing I know is we get a ten percent pay bump starting today." "I like it. I can't think of a single reason to say no." "I can't either. In this economy I hate the thought of being out of work." "Yeah. Ok, I'm in. What's next?" "Go home. Start getting things ready to put your house on the market. I'm closing the shop for the week. Next week we start packing everything to ship to Denver. We get paid our regular salary from now until the first of the month so as soon as we get everything from here shipped we get paid for packing our homes." I shook his hand through the window and restarted the truck. As I drove home I thought: 'Denver. Alamogordo to Denver is about five-hundred-fifty miles. Denver is about ten times as populated as Alamogordo and about a thousand feet higher. Hmmmm. This could be fun.' I pulled into the driveway at home less than an hour after I had left. Donna's car was gone. She works at the local propane company so I didn't think anything about her being gone. I went inside and immediately to my computer. My thoughts had been correct, the drive to Denver was about five-fifty and Denver was almost a thousand feet higher than Alamogordo. I picked up the phone and called my sister the realtor. Kathy answered professionally and I said, "Wanna make some money?" "You know I do! What do you want me to do for it?" There was laughter in her voice. "Sell my house." "Wait! Who is this?" She asked. "Your Big Brother, Pete. I'm being transferred to Denver." "Oh my God, you're serious!" Her voice had shifted and it sounded both sad and fearful. "Yup! Get over here and put your sign up in my yard. Then, we need to talk money." "Will you be at home? It's a work day." "I'll be home all week. Tell you what, bring lunch and I'll pay for it. Donna's at work right now, but I'm going to call her to come home. We have plans to make. So you better bring lunch for three. I haven't told her anything yet." "Is she going to be happy or pissed?" "Heidi lives in Cheyenne. We'll be almost six hundred miles closer to her when we move. Why would she be pissed?" "Pardon me for saying it, but because she's Donna." "Yeah, there is that. Well, nothing to do about that. Come on over." I called Donna and had to leave a message. Sue told me she was on the phone with a customer and had two others on hold. My message was, "Call me on my cell or at home." I went back outside and started looking at things from the standpoint of what goes and what gets tossed. With my cell I called Willie, a friend from way back in high school and said, "Willie, I need a dumpster and lots of boxes. I'm really cleaning this time and lots of crap is going away forever." "Oh, you want one with a lid or is open Ok?" "Why would I need a lid?" "If you're throwing away things animals might want to eat or if you're throwing Donna in there, you need a lid." He laughed a little. He and Donna were not best friends. For years she thought that he was the one who hired the strippers for my bachelor party. He wasn't. "Willie, I'm not throwing Donna away. No lid." "Ok. I'll have one of my guys bring one to you in about an hour. You want it beside the garage or between the house and the garage?" "Between. Thanks Willie." One of his guys was there in fifteen minutes. I was in the house taking a leak and when I went back outside I saw a dumpster by the garage and another parked near our back door. A stack of boxes were beside the dumpster by the garage. I smiled. It's good to have long time friends. Them, I would miss. I started in the garage. After I'd made ten trips to the dumpster, my sister arrived. A guy with a pick up parked and unloaded a posthole digger. In less than five minutes he had the hole dug and the For Sale sign up. Kathy was dressed for work; peach pant suit that showed just a couple inches of her cleavage and from behind drew my eyes to her incredible butt. Ever since she hit puberty I'd been reminding myself she was my sister. Kathy and I watched the sign go up and she said, "It feels strange thinking you're moving away." "Yeah. I've lived here my whole life, except for college." We went inside. She carried our lunches and I carried her briefcase. We sat at the kitchen table and went right to work. When Donna and I bought the house, fifteen years before, Kathy had been the realtor. It had been her first unshared commission. She had the file with her so we knew all the details. We talked about changes Donna and I had made and she made notes. We both jumped when my cell rang. The little window read, "Donna." I answered, "Hi. Things have changed for us. Can you come home?" "You know I can't. Just tell me what big thing has happened." She said the word big like she was being sarcastic. No, she was being sarcastic. She didn't believe I had ever had BIG news. "Ok. Headquarters is closing the Alamogordo facility. Jack and I still have jobs and they're in Denver. I'm at home and until the first of the month I have two jobs; put this house on the market and pack." "What if I don't want to move?" I knew that tone. She thought someone was trying to tell her what she had to do. I reminded myself, 'Don't go there.' "You don't have to move. I do. I want to. I think we should sit down and talk the options through, don't you?" "How long have you known they were shutting you down?" "One hour and twenty-three minutes." She hesitated before responding. "Why did you wait to call me?" "I called you a while ago. Sue said you were on the phone with calls stacked up waiting for you." "I was. Ok, we need to talk. Tonight, not now. I need to go." I heard the click. While I talked to Donna, Kathy used her laptop and checked on property prices in the area. After Donna hung up, we settled on an asking price about midway between the low for the area and high asking price for the area. We did a walk through and she gave me a few ideas about things we could do to get the house to sell quicker. It was just after two when Kathy left. I watched her drive away thinking about not having her nearby. She was my little sister. When Mom and Dad brought her home I was about five or six and she was still a baby. Not a newborn. We went to court with her when I was six and I still remember the judge telling me that my job, as her big brother was to love and protect her. I went back into the house and spent some time packing clothes and things I knew I wouldn't need for months. My things, not Donna's or Tina's. At four Donna called and let me know she was staying late at work. I didn't ask why, just asked when she would be home and if she wanted me to handle dinner. She did want me to handle dinner and would be home about seven. I wondered what she could be doing at work until seven, but she'd been so touchy and irritable lately I counted my blessings and kept working. At a little after six Tina carried her backpack through the door and plopped on the couch. I got her a diet Coke and delivered it to her on the couch. One long drink later she said, "Thanks Dad! You're the best." "Honey, we need to talk." She looked hard at me and said, "Am I in trouble?" "No, but maybe I am." I explained about the transfer, needing to move and as much of the dynamics of all that as I knew. She asked, "I'll graduate in Denver, not here?" I nodded. "What does Mom think?" "Mom's been too busy to discuss it. I'm guessing she'll have lots to say when she gets home. Speaking of her coming home, can I get your help making dinner? Donna will be home at seven." "Sure." Tina liked the idea of living in Denver. She also liked being closer to her sister. We got dinner started and then Tina called Heidi. They stayed on the phone together until we heard Donna's car in the driveway. I stayed at my computer when she came home. I listened and followed her progress by the noises she made. The back door opened and closed. The fridge opened and closed. A beverage can opened. Her purse landed on the table and her heel clacked in the hallway. When it didn't clack twice I knew Donna was standing in the doorway to my office. I looked up and smiled. "Welcome home. Busy day?" "Dumb question. They're always busy. So, fill me in so I know what's going on." "Ok. Have a seat. Or, would you rather we ate and discussed at the same time? Dinner can be on the table in five minutes." "Did you cook?" "Tina and I made dinner together." "Ok, let's eat." She went to our bedroom and kicked off her heels. I called Tina and we got dinner on the table. From the moment the discussion started I sensed that Donna was against moving. When I'd told her everything I knew she said, "So, you got Kathy to put the house on the market before we even talked. What if I don't want to live in Denver?" "Then we have a problem. Denver is too far to commute. You can't afford this house on your own and I'm both unwilling and unable to support two homes." "You could come home on weekends." "No, I couldn't. The drive is ten or eleven hours each way, except in winter when it's closer to fourteen hours each way. Between getting off work Friday afternoon and being back in Denver Monday morning ready for work... that's sixty-two hours. Take twenty hours driving and it leaves forty-two. Eight hours sleep for Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night which leaves me with eighteen hours total to be home." "Eighteen hours is a lot!" "My truck gets sixteen miles to the gallon. It would cost us over two hundred dollars a week for gas to drive here. I need a place to sleep in Denver. That's more money. It just isn't practical to live in two places." "And of course your job is more important." "No, it isn't. It just pays more. If you want to stay, find a way to buy me out of my half of the house. Then get a roommate who can help pay the mortgage, utilities and such. I am going to Denver." "How much is half?" "Kathy and I looked at our bank statements and the asking price for the house. We have a hundred and six thousand in equity. Your half is fifty-three thousand." "Where do you expect me to get that much money?" "I don't. I expect you to move to Denver with us. I expect you to see if the propane company can transfer you to Denver or help you find a job if they can. I expect you to acknowledge that in an economy with twelve percent unemployment, I've still got a job and just got a raise." "You come home, disrupt our lives completely and expect us to be happy about it? Get over yourself!" She got up and left the dining room. I looked at Tina and softly said, "Well, that went well." She gave me a weak smile. We cleaned up dinner and Tina went to her room. I went back to my computer. I looked at housing in Denver. I saw some places I liked and realized, I'm easy. A bed, a bathroom and a place for my stuff and I'm Ok. Donna has other expectations. I stopped looking. On my desktop I noticed an icon I hadn't used in quite a while. When Heidi started using our computers I installed a monitor so I could see what anyone using the computers in the house was doing. I was proud of both girls. Every time I had checked on them they were using the computers for homework and emailing friends about boys, school and sports. When I saw the icon I realized it had been months since I checked. "Click." I opened the monitor and saw that Tina had not been doing much on the computers. Basically just emails with five close friends. Then I noticed that Donna had a new email account with the name, "desertflower36". I opened it and started reading from the beginning. The first email she sent was to "bigbuck". It read, "Here's my new email account. I like your screen name, especially the big part." The more I read the more it was clear that Donna and bigbuck were more than cyber friends. Just about a year ago he proposed they meet one afternoon. His email said he would be at a cabin up near Cloudcroft up in the hills east of Alamogordo. He gave directions to the cabin. Her next email was short and to the point: "I want more! When can we meet again?" For months the emails were very short. They were like this one: He sent: "April 16th. I'll be there at noon." He sent it April 12th. On the 17th he sent, "UR wonderful! April 20th, noon." I saw a pattern. As long as he met her two times a week she didn't post an email. If he went more than five days she sent, "Miss me yet?" The drive from our house to Cloudcroft is forty minutes. Somehow Donna was able to miss four hours work twice a week for over a year. I backtracked through the emails and found that he had only used the cabin three times. Then they moved their meeting place to an apartment building in La Luz, fifteen minutes from Donna's office. I read all the emails. I wrote down the address of the apartment. I turned on a music site and thought about the implications. No wonder she didn't want to go to Denver. No wonder her personality had changed her from mildly grumpy to bitchy. She wanted to spend more time fucking "big" than me. I remembered reading about the word for a man who has a wife fucking other men. He's a cuckold. I realized I knew the word and I knew I was one. The question was, "What do I do now?" When I went to bed Donna was already asleep. In the morning she was up and gone early. I made breakfast for Tina and me and Tina went off to hang with friends. I spent the day doing all the things I needed to do to get ready to move. One of those things was to hire a lawyer. He hired a PI and the next day I had pictures of them engaged in acts that are against the law in New Mexico. The house had not sold by the end of the month. I loaded the back of my truck with clothes, personal items and tools. Tina contributed two boxes of her clothes so when she came to visit she would have things in Denver. Donna didn't send anything of hers with me. I moved into a small company owned apartment and started work. Jack and I were very busy. We worked seventy-five hour weeks. Seven in the morning until ten at night was pretty common. I called home two or three times a week on my breaks. Tina seemed upset after the second week but wouldn't talk about it. To talk to Donna I had to call her at work where she was almost never available and usually called me back using her cell. I talked to Kathy on Mondays and Thursdays. We had some nibbles on the house, but the hook wasn't set, yet. You Jackass! After our first month the job eased up and we went to working ten to twelve hour days. Finally getting to relax in the apartment I fired up my computer and checked my emails. I had spoken to Tina on the phone and knew something was eating at her. She wouldn't tell me what it was. Her email told me. "Daddy, I'm so upset I can't stand it! Mom is having an affair! I saw them together at Margo's Mexican Restaurant last Saturday. Mom is dressing like a slut some evenings and goes out "for dinner" and comes home smelling like sex. (Yes, Daddy, I know what sex smells like.) Please, come rescue me!" Her email was dated over a week before I read it. I called home. Tina answered. "Hi, Honey." "Hi. Mom's not home." "Good. Get everything you want to bring with you packed. I'll be home this weekend and you're coming back with me. Don't say anything to Donna about me coming home. Ok?" "You'll be here on Saturday?" "Yes. That's my plan." "I'll be ready." We talked about other things for a while and then she said, "I hear her car. Bye Daddy. I love you." She was gone. The next day I got another email. "Mom came home drunk. She walked in with her blouse torn and one boob hanging completely out. It had three hickies on it. She saw me and didn't try to cover up. She was proud of the hickies, Dad! She said her friend "loved her big tits and knew how to treat a woman's big tits." I heard her on the phone with someone and she told them she was hiding money from you and had been doing it since she started at the propane company. She had almost enough to buy her half of the house and then her big buck was leaving his wife. She called him her big buck three different times, Daddy. When she got off the phone she stripped down and fell onto her bed. She had bruises on her legs and her butt. She used to make sure we didn't see her naked. Tonight she didn't even close the door. She slept naked on top of the bed. Daddy, Mom has no hair. What's that all about?" I was about to write her when another email came in. "You don't need to answer my question about hair. Mom wasn't drunk last night, she was high. When she got up this morning she came to breakfast naked. She explained that men who like eating pussy don't want hair in their mouths. She told me not to tell you she was "playing around." I have an idea. I know you know where Carolyn Campbell lives. Her brother has a truck. As I pack I'm putting the boxes in their garage. On Friday I'll tell Mom I'm going camping for the weekend. You can pick me up at the Campbell's and we'll be in Denver before she even knows I'm gone." I wrote, "Thank you for telling me about Donna. I knew. I'll see you on Saturday at the Campbells. ILY, Dad" The next morning I was in the office with the regional manager of the company. I explained everything to him. He had some good ideas. He asked for Kathy's phone number. He called her and asked what the asking price was on my house. She old him. He said, "I'm willing to buy the house at that price, but I want you to help your brother and me. I want you to call Mrs. Peterson and tell her you have a firm offer forty thousand higher than the asking price. Tell her that the new buyer wants a fifteen day closing." "I get it! If she wants the house she has to come up with twenty thousand more and quickly!" "Exactly. If she cannot come up with the money by Friday you'll accept my offer." "I like it. Can you tell Pete what we're doing?" "He's right here. Tell him yourself." He gave me the phone. Tina and I would be leaving the Campbell's and going to Kathy's. I thanked my manager and he gave me three phone numbers to call. Realtors who would help us find a home. When I got home and fed myself I checked emails. Nothing from Donna. A note from Tina: "Mom is frantic. She says she has fifty thousand, but she needs seventy-six thousand and she needs it by Friday! She is on the phone right now talking to Buck and pleading with him for the money. She is promising him things she would beat me for even saying. I hope you know what's going on. ILY. As I read my computer dinged and a new email came in, from Kathy. "Please call me when you have some time to talk... preferably before Saturday." I hit the speed dial on my phone and she answered immediately. "I can give you an hour, then I must get some sleep." Kathy said, "Do you have a new place in Denver?" "No. I have three realtors to work with, but I haven't called them yet." "Don't. I have friends in Denver. They will find us a place, a place we can afford as soon as you say yes." "Us? We? What us? Which we are you talking about?" "As soon as you left town, the town died. When you were here there was an energy here and now that energy is gone. Not everyone felt it or noticed it left, but I felt it and I feel it's gone. I don't want to live without that energy nearby. So, my house is sold. Your house is sold. Tina is moving on Saturday. Can I move, too?" I thought about how much stuff Tina would be bringing. It would fill my truck. Kathy had a house full. "Yes and no. Yes, you can move, but not Saturday. We need to get movers to move all your stuff." "Pete, I know all that. Listen to what I said: I have friends in Denver. They will find us a place, a place we can afford as soon as you say yes." I waited and then said, "Yes. One place for us where we can live. One place." "Ok. I think you've got it." "Not quite, little sister. Do you want to stop being my little sister?" It was quiet a long time and she said, "I have loved one man other than Dad my whole life. I want to live with him and share his life for the rest of mine. You are that man." My head started spinning inside. I'd spent my life protecting her, being her Big Brother. What she wanted was way outside the role of Big Brother. I couldn't just say "Yes." "Can I give you my answer on Saturday?" I asked. "Yes." There was nothing left to say. I did go to bed and I did dream. In the dream Kathy and I were standing at the railing of a cruise ship, kissing. When my cell rang the next morning I was at work, walking down a hallway. It was Kathy. "Donna just left my office. She gave me a check for seventy-six thousand dollars. She said you agreed to sell her the house for half the equity." "Cash the check! Do whatever it takes to take me off the paperwork. What's left of the mortgage belongs to her. I hope her boyfriend makes good money." I called my lawyer and said, "As soon as Kathy tells you I'm free and clear of the house, have her served." "What about her boy-friend?" "Send his wife copies of the pictures so she knows they're a gift from me." "You know him?" The lawyer asked. "Only by his screen name, 'bigbuck". "His name is James Buck and he owns the propane company where your wife works." "It may be unethical for you to call her and solicit her as a client, but it isn't unethical if I call her." He gave me her phone number at home. He suggested that he prepare to have them both served at work and hand deliver the pictures the day before to his wife. I agreed to call her in the morning of the day she would get the pictures. From that moment we played a waiting game. After work on Friday I went to my little apartment and slept six hours. I was up at midnight. I had an ice chest with beverages and snacks in it, some CD's, clothes for three days and at twelve-thirty Jack climbed into the cab with me. He was driving home with me to drive his family back to Denver. We talked, listened to traffic reports, weather reports and a couple CD's as we drove. Jack knew all about what was going on in my family, except what was happening with Kathy. I wasn't sure what was happening there, either. Our last conversation sounded to me like she was asking to live with me as my spouse, but we had never started down that road. I'd kissed her on the cheek when she graduated from high school. Maybe what she had said was that she'd loved me all her life and I'd protected her all her life and we'd live together as family... without sex. That's why I didn't mention Kathy to Jack. I knew that I'd say yes to living together and I was ninety plus percent sure that if Kathy said she wanted us to live together as husband and wife with sex, I'd say yes to that, too. We traded driving in Las Vegas, where we had breakfast and gassed the truck. Jack drives well and we'd traveled many times together over the years. In Alamogordo we pulled into his driveway at eleven-fifteen in the morning. We got out of the truck. He hugged his wife and I made a quick pit stop. Jack's wife, Joline, gave me a bag with two sandwiches in it and a kiss on my cheek. As I pulled away from their almost empty house my cell rang. "Speak to me," I said. "You are no longer responsible for the house in any way." My lawyer said. "Donna and Mr. Buck are both at the propane company. I am ready to deliver the pictures to Mrs. Buck at your request, and have them served." "I'll call you before noon." I turned at the next corner. I drove to the home of Mr. & Mrs. James Buck. I backed into their driveway. When I opened the door to get out of the truck their front door opened and a buxom woman came out. She was in tight jeans, a t-shirt that was too small and a baseball cap. No shoes. She said, "Excuse me. This is my home. Why are you here?" She stayed up on the porch. It gave her a power position and a bit of safety. I smiled and said, "I am either your best friend in the world or a nasty son-of-a-bitch. My wife says I'm the latter." "I don't know you, do I?" "No, but you know my wife. She works at the propane company, Donna." At the mention of Donna she stiffened. I continued, "In less than an hour I can have copies of pictures here of your husband fucking my wife. Not once or twice, but over the last year or more. I have a lawyer and my wife will be served divorce papers before she and James go for lunch. Are you interested?" "You have proof?" She sat on the top step of her porch as she asked. "Yes. She's the one..." "With the huge knockers." She finished my statement for me. "I want the proof and I want to hire the lawyer!" "I figured you might." I dialed my cell and said, "There's a lady here who wants a good, mean lawyer to take her case." He said, "Hand her the phone." They talked for ten minutes. A car parked in front of her house and a man carrying a big envelope got out. He handed it to her. She signed for it and he left. She handed the envelope to me and said, "Please open it." I did. She poured the contents of the porch and saw all the pictures spread across the porch. She spoke into the phone, "Ok. What do I do now?" She made notes on the back of the envelope. I gathered all the papers and pictures. When she hung up she held the envelope open I deposited everything inside. A truck parked in front of her house. The side of his truck said, "Jim's Locks." As he began changing the locks Mrs. Buck said, "Our lawyer is through. All James' credit cards are cancelled and he has lost access to his personal and business credit. There is a restraining order prohibiting him from being within five-hundred feet of me or the house. She offered the locksmith and me something to drink. We both accepted soft drinks. As I prepared to go get Tina my cell and her house phone rang. She rushed inside and I answered. The lawyer's voice said, "They both have been served. We have it on video. I'll send you a copy in Denver. The people we used did a great job of having it be a surprise." "What did they do?" They made two poster board replicas of those winning checks from Publishing Clearing house. Then they pasted the papers on the poster boards and covered them with white butcher paper with each of their names printed large on the cover sheets. They went into the propane company with a video crew and asked if Donna Peterson and James Buck were there. The entire staff went crazy and your wife and James proudly came forward and posed with the cameras. At the crew's instruction they ripped the cover sheets off the "checks" and the crew leader said, "Congratulations! You've been served." Ten seconds later they were outside and gone. The crew leader said they heard your wife scream." I thanked him as I parked at the Campbells. Tina called out from the porch and four of her high school friends loaded my truck in less than five minutes. They each took a turn saying Good-Bye to Tina with kisses and hugs. I thanked each boy and Mrs. Campbell for helping us. My cell rang on the way to Kathy's. The ID window said, "Donna." I decided to answer. "Hi!" "Don't Hi me, you bastard!" She screamed. "You had me served divorce papers!" "Last I heard infidelity is grounds for divorce. Even if it isn't, I'm not married to you. I stopped being married to you the first time you sucked bigbuck's dick!" "And I liked it so much I'm going to keep sucking it!" "Then why don't you sound happy? I gave you what you've wanted. Freedom." "I am happy! You stay there in Denver. You won't be missed here." "I made you a promise a couple of months ago. I promised I'd pay for your breast reduction surgery when the house sold. Do you still want it?" "What's the catch?" "I don't give you the money. You told me you wanted to use the hospital in El Paso and Juarez. I'll pay them. You pick the date for any day after our divorce is final and I'll send them the money." "Why?" "Because I promised. For the rest of your life every time someone looks at your chest, including you you'll think Pete bought these for me. Now it's up to you." "I won't think of you at all. I'll be thinking about James." "I'll still do it." I hung up. We were at Kathy's. Her car was loaded and a moving van was in the driveway. She came to my truck carrying a package. I opened the door and got out. Kathy looked at Tina, hesitated and then handed me the package. It was two walkie-talkies and batteries. She said, "So we can talk whenever we want." I handed the box to Tina and asked, "Can you get them to work?" She went right to work. I walked to Kathy's car and checked it out. It was loaded and she'd used bungee cords to strap thing down against load shifts. Up front she had a small ice chest and a bag of Doritos. I grabbed the Doritos. "Hey! I like those!" "That's why they're going with us. Tina will drive your car to Las Vegas, where we'll gas up. She can take whatever snacks she wants from my truck. We can talk all the way to Las Vegas." She took the Doritos and walked back to the truck. She opened the passenger door and handed Tina the keys to her car. Tina asked, "What's happening?" I sat in the driver's seat and said, "As of now, you're an adult. The three of us have a six hundred mile trip to get done. First leg, you drive Kathy's car, I drive the truck. Second leg we'll discuss in Las Vegas." Tina looked at Kathy and asked, "Is there anything to snack on in your car?" I said, "Take anything you want from here." She took a banana, a baggie full of grapes and a Mars bar. As she got out of the truck I said, "Follow us. Ok?" "Gotcha." Kathy got in and I backed us out. Kathy teared up and waved at her old house. I stayed quiet until we were on the highway north. For an hour we talked legal issues, divorce, real estate, Tina and Heidi. In the second hour Kathy saw a sign for a rest stop. She called Tina on the radio and asked, "Need a pit stop?" "Yes!" I put my turn signal on and we stopped. Kathy's car stopped beside us and Tina ran to the building. As soon as she went inside Kathy turned to me and said, "Kiss me." "How?" "Kiss me like you've wanted this kiss since you were thirteen!" I leaned over and we kissed. I didn't think I had wanted to kiss her since I was thirteen. A few seconds into it I was sure it had been at least that long. The suppressed wanting was released and I wanted more. I suddenly thought of Tina's reaction if she caught us! I jerked away and looked towards the ladies room door. Tina wasn't there. She was six inches way from the window on Kathy's door, grinning like the Cheshire cat. She laughed, slapped my truck and got back into Kathy's car. Kathy said, "I didn't need the pit stop. I needed the kiss. Let's go." I backed out and headed north again. I said, "I think I have my head on straight, but I have to be sure." "Ok. I've had lots of time to think this over, so let me explain it to you. Ok?" "Open the Doritos and a beverage please." She did. We shared. "When I asked to live with you I meant be your wife. I know we can't get married. I know we shouldn't have babies. I also know you had your self fixed after Tina was born. What you may not know was that I was also fixed. No babies. I have always felt like a more-than-aunt to Heidi and Tina." "You've always been a big part of their lives and I know they love you." "They both have known for a long time that I love you. Anyway, here's how I see us: We buy a house with both names on the title; Pete Peterson and Kathy Peterson. We have a four bedroom place. The master suite is ours, Tina has a bedroom and we have an office for my business. The forth bedroom is a guest room and your office. Tina's room has a door to the outside and her own bathroom. We pool all our money and we discuss every expenditure bigger than groceries." "I want an agreement about sex." "Oh? What do you want?" "I don't want to beg. I won't beg. In my past there have been long dry spells and lots of things that were off limits unless Donna was drunk. I want to please you and I want you to please me. I do something with you and you aren't wild about it, tell me how to make it better for you. I love giving oral, and getting oral doesn't do much for me. That's the past. What works for us, works for us." Kathy turned a little in her seat to face me a little more directly and said, "I don't have a lot of experience and none of it is in the recent past. Jose' was a Wham-Bam-Thank-you-ma'am kind of guy. I've had plenty of orgasms and most of them came with batteries. I want to spend lots of time exploring love with you. A real partnership in every way." "That sounds like we're already in agreement." "Donna told me once she was pissed at you because you wanted her to shave her bush." "Did she also tell you she shaved it for bigbuck?" "No. Do you want me to shave?" "I'd love it." I paused, "But maybe later. I haven't seen you naked since you were three or four." "Too late. I now look like I did then. Smooth." "Kathy, what do you want?" "I want you to touch me, often. I want you to take me away some weekends and we'll hide out somewhere, making love, eating great meals and sharing life. I want you to make me laugh. I want to wake up in your arms." "Uh-oh! A high maintenance woman!" She socked my arm. "If I ask you to do something, just for my pleasure will you do it?" "Probably. Ask." She said. "Look behind your seat. There's a file box with a lid. Go inside and get the top thing in the box, please. It's a towel." She twisted around and got the towel. She started to buckle back up and I put a hand on the buckle. "Please take off your jeans." She smiled and began. I glanced over often and saw the jeans worked down and off along with her shoes. She hesitated and then removed the teal colored panties. I noticed they were wet. Teal everywhere except where her juices made them dark blue. "Yes, Sir." Kathy said. "Fold the towel and sit on it, so it catches your juices, please." "Done, Sir." She said when she was on the towel. I checked the speedometer. I was steady at seventy. I glanced at my mirrors and saw Tina about two hundred yards back. No other vehicles within a mile. "Kathy, I want you to take two fingers and dip them into your honey. Then give me a taste. Put those fingers in my mouth, please." You Jackass! I glanced over and saw her fingers slid into her. My eyes went back to the damned road. Seconds later she said, "Open your mouth, lover." She said it with her deep, throaty, sexy voice. I opened and two wet fingers touched my tongue. I closed my lips around her fingers and sucked. My tongue touched her fingers, probed between then and around the tips. Kathy moaned. When I opened my mouth she withdrew her fingers. I said, "May I have some more, please?" She laughed and gathered more on her fingers. I opened again and she put them in my mouth again. I loved how she tasted. We continued down the road and I had a delightful, wet snack. With each taste Kathy moaned and I made appreciative sucking noises. About the tenth time she withdrew her fingers from my mouth she quickly inserted them inside her pussy and I asked, "Have you ever tasted how incredibly delicious you are?" "No." I heard a lot in her one word. Perhaps a question, 'Do good girls do that?' Perhaps, 'What if I don't like it?' "Explorers sometimes go where they've never been before." She withdrew her fingers and put them in her own mouth. She sucked them clean and pulled them out of her mouth. "I like it, but I like giving the taste to you more." "Watch." I said. My right hand left the steering wheel and snaked across the seat to her leg. I caressed her skin as my hand went across her thigh, headed for the crease her fingers had recently been inside. She opened her legs wider. Her left hand rested on my shoulder. I did not take my eyes off the road. The exploration was by Braille. I moved my hand slowly up her thigh and then onto her lower torso. When my finger touched the top of her crease she moaned and said, "Yes!" in that low, throaty voice she had seldom ever used around me. I pressed on that spot without going farther into her slit. Press and release, press and release. Kathy's hips moved forward and her right hand grasped my wrist, pushing gently on my hand to go deeper into her. Ever so slowly I went. My finger felt her nub and I moved around it. She made a new moan, one that a deaf man would have known was a protest. She wanted me to stay touching her clit. I passed it and found her vaginal opening, wet and slippery. My biology wanted me to pull off the highway and take her onto my lap and fill her. I almost gave in. Almost. The sounds and smells of out heat were rudely interrupted by Tina's voice on the radio. "Where do we get off? Las Vegas just ahead." Both Kathy and I burst into laughter. Kathy was about to get off when Tina interrupted. Kathy picked up the radio and said, "There are three exits. We'll take the last one. Pick a pump near us, Ok?" "Ok. I'm down under a quarter tank." Kathy lifted my wet hand from her pussy and started getting dressed. I hit the buttons and both our windows started opening. Kathy looked at me and started laughing again. I said, "I'm not sure I want Tina to know what we were doing." "She my not know everything but Tina knows I've wanted you for longer than she's been alive. Even without the smell, she'll know." We gassed both vehicles and then parked by the restaurant. Inside we all headed for the bathrooms. When I was done I got us a table and I sat down. Two or three minutes later they joined me. It was a table for four and they sat on either side of me. Just before Kathy sat down she kissed me. We looked at the menus and Tina said, "See anything you'd like, Dad?" Then she giggled and blushed. I knew there would never be a secret again. They would share everything. I shrugged. Maybe that was what a loving Mother-daughter relationship was like. You certainly couldn't use the relationship between Donna and either Tina or Heidi as a measure. When we were just about done I said, "We're about halfway to Denver. I'm thinking we can stay here tonight and get an early start tomorrow." Kathy asked, "How long to Denver?" "About six or seven hours." Tina said, "Can Momma ride with me tomorrow?" Kathy and I looked at her. She used "Momma" as if it were so. If we were going to live as spouses, it needed to be so. Kathy answered, "How about if you ride with me tomorrow?" "Ok, Momma." Tina was pointedly using the term. Kathy paid for dinner and we went to the motel desk. I asked for two rooms, not adjoining. Tina said, "Mine doesn't have to even be close." The young woman behind the counter looked at Tina and Tina added, "Dad snores." We got two rooms with three rooms between them. We used valet parking so they would better guard the two loaded vehicles. When we went to our rooms we got to Kathy and my room first. Tina put her bag down and kissed Kathy and then me. She said, "Good-Night Momma and Dad. See that you get some sleep, Ok?" I made as if I tried to kick her butt, but she was too quick for me. They both laughed. Kathy unlocked the door and we went inside. "I think Tina approves." I said. "She does. Her biggest question is why did it take so many years for you to kick Donna out." "I was a frog." She had been opening her suitcase when I said it. She quickly turned and looked at me. "A frog?" "A frog can be put in a pot of cool water and he likes it just fine. Turn the heat on and he stays, in fact he'll stay until the water boils and kills him... unless something else happens to get him to jump out of the hot water. I was a frog. The first five years we were together I thought life was pretty damned good. Both girls were born, we got our house, I had a good job. Our marriage didn't turn to crap all at once. No one thing made me jump, until bigbuck was discovered fucking Donna. Then I jumped." "Can I tell Tina that tomorrow?" "Sure. I've already figured that the two of you are very close and there's not likely to ever be secrets between you." "Is that Ok?" She stepped into my arms and kissed me. "Yes, it's Ok. You told her I was stroking your pussy when she called on the radio, didn't you?" She nodded, blushed and said, "We laughed in the ladies room and realized four other women heard the story. All four came out, checked you out and gave Tina and I thumbs up!" "If I'd known I'd have been embarrassed." "That's why I waited to tell you." "I have an idea. Let's shower together and then start over. Ok?" "Do you want me to undress or do you want to undress me?" My answer was to toss her onto the bed and climb on top of her. I held each of her hands out away from her body and said, "Relax. You don't need to do anything, just enjoy." I unbuttoned her shirt and spread it open, uncovering her chest and a lacy white bra. She asked, "Do you like it? I bought it yesterday." "I don't know yet. So far, yes, I like it." I bent to her left breast and sucked it through the lace. I felt her nipple respond and heard her gasp. I moved to her right breast and it responded as well. I released my lip lock and said, "I like this bra." My hands found the front opening and it worked easily. Once it was open I used my mouth to uncover her breasts one at a time. Having focused on Donna's "DD" to "F" breasts for over fifteen years I found Kathy's "C"'s to be cute and perky by comparison. They were tanned all over where as Donna had been very careful to keep hers covered whenever we were outside. I back away from her far enough to start getting her jeans off. She said, "I can't wear those again tomorrow. Somehow they got wet." "We'll get you some "Depends." I got the zipper down and grabbed the cuffs and pulled. The jeans pulled past her hips and then they came off easily. I tossed them aside and climbed back onto the bed. She lifted her hips and her panties were tossed on top of her jeans. I got off the bed and went to the bathroom. I came back with a towel. "Towels are for after we shower." Kathy said, smiling. I folded the towel and said, "Lift." I slid the towel under her butt. "You told me you've never had an orgasm given to you by a man, only by the Eveready bunny. You've been hot and ready for hours. Don't hold back. Go with the feelings." My hands spread her legs a little and I began kissing my way between her knee and her treasure. After a minute I looked at her face and saw her eyes were closed. I noticed her nipples were tight buds, too. I moved closer and kissed higher on her thigh. She opened her legs for me a little more. My hands spread her legs wide as my face drew very close to her opening. She said, "I can feel your breath on me! Please!" The "please" was pleading. My tongue touched her lips and moved from the bottom of her vaginal opening up toward her clit. Her back arched and her hands left the places on the bed and grabbed my hair. She said, "Oh Sweet Brother! I've waited sooo long!" She shuddered and pushed my face into her deeper. I painted her inner sweetness with my tongue and when I touched her clit a low guttural growl began inside her and grew to a primal scream. I sucked on her clit and touched it occasionally with the tip of my tongue. She soaked the towel and me. When I let her go she collapsed and lay panting and having aftershocks for some minutes. I wiped my face on a semi-dry place on the towel and moved up beside her. Some minutes later she turned her head and said, "Donna was and is the biggest idiot on the planet!" "Thank you. I really enjoyed that. Now, what can I do for you?" I asked. "God! Don't even! I think if you touched me right now I'd die. Every nerve in my body is singing." We stayed right there for almost half an hour. Then we got up and went to the shower. Hotels have lots of hot water and we loved it. We got clean and played in the water. She watched as I shaved. I dried her and she dried me. We crawled into bed and held each other. At seven the phone rang. It surprised both of us. As I reached for it I realized it couldn't be a wake up call. I hadn't asked for one. "Hello." I answered. Tina's laughing voice said, "Good Morning to you, Good Morning to you! Let's get this show on the road!" "Ok. Ok. We just woke up. We'll shower and dress and be ready in..." Kathy finished my sentence, "Half an hour. Give us half an hour!" Tina laughed and asked, "Sure half an hour is long enough?" Before I could answer she hung up. It was long enough. It was hot and wild and I got to be inside my wife for the first time. She came again and I filled her. We showered quickly and dressed. I tossed our dirty clothes in a plastic bag supplied by the hotel and Tina knocked. Kathy opened the door and they embraced. Then Tina kissed me and said, "Good Morning Daddy. You still smell like sex." "From now on that's my aftershave and cologne. Get used to it." They both laughed. I carried the bags and we went to breakfast. As we walked into the restaurant I saw a table with four women having breakfast. One noticed us and out of the corner of my eye I saw Kathy give them a thumbs up. In spite of myself, I blushed. We sat, ordered and were eating breakfast when all four came to our table. The tallest said, "Mister you are a lucky man." "Thank you. I am very aware that I am." "How long have the two of you been together?" The roundest of the four asked. Kathy answered, "I've known him since we were kids. Grew up in the same place." Tina said, "I'm the youngest daughter. My sister is twenty-one." "Wow!" The tall one said, "I would have bet you were newlyweds." "Thank you. I want us to hold on to being newly weds for a long time." I said. As they left us one said to Kathy, "He's a keeper." We finished breakfast and I called the waitress over for a check. She said, "No check. Other ladies pay for you." We went to our vehicles and I led. Kathy and Tina got in the SUV. I listened to some CD's and four hours went pretty fast. I was getting low on gas so I called on the radio and asked if Pueblo was a good place to stop. Tina came on the radio and said, "Don't go farther than Pueblo. Momma's starting to go into withdrawal. She hasn't had a kiss in over four hours!" "Getting fuel is just an excuse to kiss her and hug her." I said. I stepped a little harder on the accelerator and moved up to seventy-five miles an hour. The radio clicked and I heard Kathy saw, "Easy cowboy. I won't die if it takes ten more minutes." We stopped, got the gas going into both vehicles and I pinned Kathy against the side of my truck as I wrapped her in my arms and kissed her. Tina went into the little store and when she came back we were still kissing. Kathy really kissed good. Tina said, "You need to get a room." Kathy broke the kiss and said, "That's where we're headed." The pumps clicked off and we let go of each other. I gave Tina a credit card and she paid for the gas. When Tina came back she gave each of us a bag of Nacho Doritos. Tina drove and Kathy rode with her. Two and a half hours later my Doritos were gone and we were pulling up to the company apartments. I checked in at the office and as I had requested I was now in a bigger apartment. The guy in the office reminded me that I only had sixty days to move out or start paying rent myself. Our new place had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The office guy sent three guys to help us unload. An hour later we were done, moved in and could relax. I took Tina and Kathy out for dinner and showed them what I knew about the neighborhood. We were back and "in for the night" by eight. I said, "I have to be up by five-forty-five in the morning so I can be at work by seven. If I said I'm tired Tina will laugh so I'm simply saying, I'm going to bed." I kissed Tina on the cheek and kissed Kathy like we were back at the gas station. Tina started walking to her bedroom and said, "I want to find a man who kisses like that." I replied, "Wait a few years would you?" The last thing I remember before falling asleep was looking at the alarm clock by the bed and reading 9:16pm. When the alarm sounded I rolled over quickly and knocked Kathy completely out of bed as I punched the off button. She wasn't hurt. She got up and showered with me. As I dressed she ran to the kitchen and made me breakfast. When I left to go to Alamogordo I had a dozen eggs, a quart of milk, a loaf of bread, some peanut butter and some sausage. Kathy made breakfast for us. It was good and I enjoyed eating with her dressed in one of my t-shirts. If she lifted her arms her smooth puss showed. I got to work on time. Fifteen minutes later there was a crisis and for the rest of the day I was focused and working at solving the problems. At five in the afternoon one of the guys I supervise found me and said, "You have two visitors in the break room." I went and Kathy and Tina were there. They had a tablecloth on a table, three dinner plates, glasses and silverware set nicely and a hot casserole in the middle of the table. Kathy said, "We found out you haven't even had a lunch break. Sit down with us for a few minutes. You need to eat." Then she added, "Honey." I sat down. The casserole was one our Mom used to make and that I've always loved. When we were kids we had two cats and called them Tuna and Noodles. Named after my favorite casserole. I ate a good sized portion and had a diet Coke. Bob Hammond came in to the break room and said, "Boss, I'm so sorry to interrupt but..." And he filled me in on the latest problem. I stood up, handed him my fork and said, "Sit down and finish my dinner. Tell my wife and daughter how much you like it but don't kiss either one of them Good-Bye." I kissed both women and left the room. Long before we quit for the night the story of how they brought me dinner had gone through the company. I was the envy of every man who brought sandwiches and chips to work every day. The next day was almost a repeat of the day before. We had six sub-systems that failed and our entire crew was working hard to get things back operational. At five someone tapped me on the shoulder. I looked up and he smiled at me and said, "Time for you to eat. Bosses orders." My supervisor was bent over the same machine I was. "What Boss?" I asked. "The one with the great looking daughter!" He said. "Oh. Then, I'll be back soon." I put my tools down and my supervisor said, "Take half an hour." The table was set when I got to the break room. Both ladies were dressed in dresses and served me a meal fit for a king. Broiled halibut with a crust of some kind, spaghetti squash, green beans cooked with onions and a lemonade. When my half hour was almost up my supervisor walked through the door. He held a digital camera in his hands and took a picture of us eating dinner. I stood and handed him my fork. "Sit down and finish my dinner. Tell my wife and daughter how much you like it but don't kiss either one of them Good-Bye." I kissed both and left the room. He was back bent over the machine half an hour later. On the forth night of our crisis it was five o'clock when the security guy found us. He said, "Mr. Peterson, Time for you to eat. Bosses orders." What surprised me was that he turned to my supervisor and said, "You too, Mr. Browning." We got to the sink to wash up and heard him say the same message to two other men. We walked to the break room together. I opened the door and saw four tables, set with tablecloths, china, nice glasses and the smells of dinner. All the women and children in the room were dressed for a night out. I cried into my dinner without shame or embarrassment. Kathy and Tina were saying "I love you and honor what you do" in a powerful way. How they convinced the other women was something it took me a while to find out, but we were all blown away. At the end of our half hour four other men walked in. We four stood and handed them our forks. I said, "Sit down and finish my dinner. Tell my wife and daughter how much you like it but don't kiss either one of them Good-Bye." I kissed both and left the room. Any night after that that we were working hard and late at least four tables were set. The women coordinated the meals and who would bring them. A few nights we almost filled the break room. Every man who worked on our crew thanked me and thanked me often. I thanked Kathy and Tina every day. Tina asked at dinner one night, "Can you take half a day off?" "Morning, afternoon or evening?" "Morning or afternoon. We have a house we want you to see." "Does it have a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen?" "Yes." She said. "Do you both want it?" They nodded. I said, "Then get the papers ready. My half day off is to handle paperwork. It's a done deal." We did all the paperwork in the living room of our new house. It had a great view of the mountains, was less than half an hour from my work and walking distance to Kathy's new real estate office. We had the house on Monday of Thanksgiving week. On Tuesday the big boss announced we had done so well we were given the rest of the week off, not to be back until Monday. I said to my supervisor, "Good! Now maybe I can get us moved into our new home." He said, "I'm sure my wife has a Honey-Do list for me, too." I packed my things and headed home. I called Kathy and told her the good news. She arranged for the moving company to deliver all our stuff and they could do it the day before Thanksgiving. Heidi called and Kathy convinced her to come for Thanksgiving. As I walked into our new home with almost no furniture except folding chairs Kathy was on the phone. I got a diet Coke from the fridge and an almost empty bag of nacho Doritos. I went outside and sat on our back porch, looking at the Rockies. Pretty soon Kathy came out and sat down. She wrapped her arm around mine and put her head against my arm. I said, "I'm sorry I've been working so much. I want to spend more time with you and with the girls." "Heidi will be here tomorrow and she stays until Sunday. We can use putting things away as bonding time and I don't want you to apologize." You Jackass! "But, you moved here with us as my wife and I'm never here!" "Yes, you are. I'm not Donna. I've been taking care of me for many years. Everything I do for you is like you're right here. I washed our clothes yesterday. You don't know how intimate that is. I love bringing dinner to the company and seeing the other wives loving it too." "Every man on my crew thinks you're an angel, including me." She kissed my arm. She looked up at me and asked, "What would you like for dinner?" "Spaghetti, meatballs and a green salad." "The little meatballs or the giant one's Mom used to make?" "Big ones!" "You're so easy." We sat for a little longer and I was sure life couldn't get any better. When Kathy went inside she said I should stay and enjoy the view. She went to the kitchen and started cooking. I didn't hear Tina come home but shortly after she did she came out and sat with me. Just like Kathy, she sat close, wrapped her arm around mine and rested her head on my shoulder. She said, "I'm so glad I came here." "I'm glad to hear that. I worried about having you leave all your friends at home." "I have new friends. Friends different from the kids in Alamogordo. Most of them were so ambitious they were looking to get a job at Pizza Hut. My new friends talk about college almost every day." "And?" "And I'm thinking about maybe going to CollegeAmerica in Cheyenne. Maybe Heidi and I could share an apartment?" "She'll be here tomorrow. Take her for a walk and talk to her. I'm here for both of you, whatever you decide." "I know that. I feel it all the time." "Do you stay in touch with anyone back in Alamogordo?" I asked. "The Campbells. No one else." "Any news I'd be interested in?" "Mrs. Campbell told her son Josh that she saw Donna going into The Wagon Wheel Roadhouse last week with someone who wasn't James Buck." "Any news about someone else?" "Atty Nelson is pregnant. She hasn't told her parents who the father is." "Isn't she your age?" "Yup. Turns eighteen next March. Two months before she become a mother." "Thank you for not being her." "Don't you really mean thanks for not getting pregnant?" "Yes! That too." "I'm still a virgin. I know sex is fun, but I'm not ready. Not even close." I kissed the top of her head. The sliding glass door behind us slid open and Kathy said, "You two want dinner?" We got up and went inside. Tina made mention of the huge meatballs. Donna always served the small meatballs that came in a package. Tina decided the big ones were better. I already knew it. The next morning we were up and well rested. We did what we could to get ready for the movers. They said they would be there between nine and eleven. At nine-ten I answered a knock. It was three guys from my crew with their teenaged kids. They were dressed for work. They had gloves with them. As they came in I saw the moving van pull up and back into the driveway. Kathy gave the boys the tour and then we all went out to the truck. Things moved into the house. Kathy stayed on the porch and told people which room to put things into. Three more families arrived and the flow of boxes and furniture was constant. When the senior guy from the moving company handed me the papers to sign it was twelve-thirty. They backed the empty truck out and I watched them leave. Two SUV's pulled into our driveway. Two more families got out. They brought everything they needed. In five minutes tables were set up, food and plates were on the tables and an ice chest of beverages was open. Folding chairs came out of the second SUV and we were ready. I asked, "Who organized this?" My supervisor's wife raised her hand. I said, "Thank you. Thank you one and all." We sat and the food was passed. Thanksgiving was the next day and they had made tons of food anyway. There were tablecloths on the tables, good china, not paper plates. All the food was wonderful. Even better was the touching, the laughter and the love around the tables. Mrs. Browning sat next to me on one side. She said, "Thanks to your wife, I'm still married and life is better now than ever." Kathy looked up and started to protest. I put my hand on her arm. Mrs. Browning said, "I started believing Bill was working all those hours to avoid being with us. When I got the call about what Kathy was doing it made me mad. Then I started thinking about all the things Bill does so our lives work. He sometimes works seventy-five hours a week, and drives almost an hour each way so we can live where I want to live. He doesn't bitch about it. I did. When he wasn't home I got angry and when he was home I was a bitch. Then I made dinner, got all of us dressed and we at dinner with you in their break room. It changed our family. I think I speak for every wife here when I say, "Thank you Kathy Peterson." Kathy was crying. Tina was sitting down near the middle of the table and she was crying too. Bill said, "My wife's right. I was starting to wonder why I worked so hard when it wasn't appreciated. Then the new guy's wife shows up with a tablecloth and his favorite casserole. She's beautiful and she and her daughter were dressed up! I was ready to get a divorce! But someone tipped my wife off and she brought me dinner. It was the best meal I ever ate." I asked, "Who called you?" and Mrs. Browning said, "I don't honestly know. It was an anonymous email, with a picture. A picture of your family having dinner in the break room." At a little after one a Toyota parked in the driveway. Heidi got out and ran to Kathy. They hugged and Heidi said, "Hi Momma! Am I too late to eat?" Introductions were made and a plate heaped with food for her. She waved at me and sat next to her Mom. I was so touched I thought I might tear up. Two families cleaned up lunch and the rest of us went inside and started unboxing our home. Empty boxes were flattened. When Kathy, Heidi and Tina came in they split up and the work went faster. By three everything we could be helped with was done. Our friends were getting ready to go and two couples came to us and one of the wives said, "No one should need to move in on Wednesday and cook Thanksgiving on the next day. We've decided we're doing a combined Thanksgiving tomorrow. We want you to join us. Just come. Don't cook, don't buy a bottle of wine or flowers. Just come and be family." She handed me a map of how to get to their house. We were hugged by all four people and they left. We stood in our yard and watched them go. My arm was around Kathy and hers around me. After they were gone we were still standing there. I said, "I've worked for the company for fifteen plus years and for the first time I feel really connected to the people I work with, other than Jack." "Hmmm." She squeezed me a little tighter. "You made it happen. You've improved everything about my life." "Daddy, can we talk to you?" Tina called out from the front porch. We turned as if we were one person and walked inside. The living room actually looked like a living room. Tina aimed us at the couch. Heidi was already in a chair. Tina sat on the floor. "You called?" I asked. "I have some questions." Heidi said. Kathy and I nodded. She continued, "Tina told me about how this came to be, this family. I want to know how it happened and why it's Ok with both of you." I heard the edge in her voice. The edge was disapproval. Kathy squeezed my leg and I took a breath. She spoke, "It works like this. A long time ago our parents adopted me. Pete became my big brother and I loved him. I followed him everywhere. When he played sports I learned how to keep score and cheer. You know all this. We've talked about our childhoods all your lives. We grew up and he went away to college. Mom and Dad wanted me to get married and I did. I knew on my wedding day I was settling, he was not the man I wanted and I was getting married because Mom and Dad expected me to. He wasn't as good as the man I wanted. In fact as time went on he wasn't even as good as I had thought he was." Heidi interrupted, "I know all this. You've had the hots for your brother all your life. So Mom screwed around and you pounced?" Her eyebrows went up as she asked. "No. If Pete had stayed in Alamogordo I'd have lived right there and never told him how I felt. Too many people knew both of us in Alamogordo for us to live together as spouses. The outward expressions of affection would not have been possible. I want them." I said, "And I want them too, now. I've loved, cared for and tried to protect Kathy all her life. When she called me and asked me to love her it damned near dropped my jaw to the floor. I thought, 'I can't! She's my sister!' Then I really looked and came to the conclusion that we can. We aren't hurting anyone, except maybe you. Did you see all the people here today? They were here to honor my wife! Kathy. She gave them something they treasure. She's teaching me things about love I didn't know, didn't think about before the Saturday we moved here." "It isn't right." Her voice was flat. It wasn't angry. "Can I ask why?" I asked. "It's incest!" "Incest is universally wrong. Every time, under any circumstances, forever and ever, amen?" I asked. "Last Sunday I went to church with some friends. The young adult class was about marriage. I asked a question and the teacher said that incest was condemned by God. Why would he say that if it was Ok for you two?" "What did he say incest was?" Tina asked. "I always thought it was taboo for a biological brother and sister to marry and have kids. Dad and Kathy aren't biological brother and sister. They aren't having more children" I could almost hear the gears turning in Heidi's head. After a few moments I said, "Sometimes we think things around us are black and white when if we look closer we see it might not be true all the time." "Like?" "Ok. How many letters in the American alphabet?" "Twenty-six." "How many vowels?" "Five. A, E, I, O and U." "Leaving how many consonants? "Twenty-six minus five is twenty-one." "Is "Y" always a consonant?" I asked. She stopped and then said, "No, sometimes it serves as a vowel. It isn't a vowel and it isn't always a consonant either." It was quiet a moment and Tina said, "The Sunday school teacher was right about incest, depending on what he was talking about. Is incest having sex with a relative? Dad and Donna were related, by marriage, and you and I came from them having sex. That could be incest if you bend and twist what the word means!" Kathy said, "Words have meanings and those meanings change. The rules in American law say one man, one woman is a marriage. Fly to the Middle East and in some places a man can have three wives. In the Bible your Sunday School teacher reads the law is clear, if a brother dies, his living brother is instantly married to the widow, even if that brother is already married. Different times, different interpretations of what the scriptures mean." I stood up. I held out my hand to Heidi. She stood and I didn't let go. I said, "I need to walk. I think pretty well as I walk. I haven't seen you face to face in months. Would you walk with me?" "I'll need a jacket." I let go of her hand and she went to the guest room to get it. I hugged Kathy and Tina. Kathy whispered, "Just love her." I nodded. Heidi and I walked for an hour. We saw kids playing outside. We heard laughter from some homes, yelling from others. We watched the street lights come on, house lights come on and smelled smoke from fires in fireplaces. When we got back to our house Heidi and I hadn't said a word. She stepped up on the curb and put her arms around my neck. "Daddy. The guy at Church was wrong. It made me angry to call Kathy Momma when I got here. I wanted Mom to be Mom. Mom can't be Mom. She quit. She quit you, Tina and me. She turned in her badge and left the building." She let go of the hug and said, "I'm going inside and apologize to Momma. I never called your first wife Momma. I'm calling Kathy Momma." Must have been dust in the air. Some of it got in my eyes and they teared up to get the dust out. I kissed her forehead and we went inside. Tina and Kathy were sitting on the couch. They looked up and as Heidi stepped past me I gave the thumbs up. Heidi plopped between them and said, "My Dad is really smart. He had his say and took us for a walk. He knew if he let me think it through, I'd come to the right conclusions. Dad's first wife never wanted to be called Momma. Even when we were little she said it sounded wrong. I'm in college and sometimes I need a Momma. I need a hug even through the phone. A Momma can give it to me. Will you be my Momma?" Kathy was crying long before the speech ended. They hugged and after a few seconds Tina joined them and said, "Can I call you Momma, too?" When the hugs ended I asked, "Do we still have any Doritos?" The three women I love most laughed. Tina went to the kitchen and got the Doritos and a diet Coke. As I took a good swallow Heidi asked, "So where are you going for the Honeymoon?" I came very close to spewing the mouth full of diet Coke on all three of them. I looked at Kathy and said, "I'm sorry. Heidi is right. I want to take you on a Honeymoon. I already know you know where you want to go." "I do. The big question is when?" "I can ask the boss on Monday. Does when make a difference as to where?" I asked. "Weather makes a difference. If I want to go to Alaska Christmas time is not going to work, but winter here is summer in New Zealand." "Ok. How soon do you want to go?" "Let's you and I talk about this a little later. All I'll say now is to you two. Don't make plans for spring break, yet." Tina and Heidi got a snack and went to Tina's bedroom for some sister time. Kathy and I went to our bedroom. "Ok." I said, "Tell me where." "I want us, all four of us to go somewhere warm and that isn't filled with a million drunk, naked young people. I've always thought it would be romantic to go on a cruise to the Bahamas, Jamaica or the Panama Canal. The girls will have sun on the islands and on deck and we'll have the romantic cruise evenings." "Most people don't take their kids on their Honeymoon." "Most people don't have adult children when they just get married." "We aren't most people." I said. "Ok. Start planning for it. We'll do it. Tell me when Spring Break is and I'll get the time off." We undressed like old married people and headed for the shower. In the shower I became inspired to be nineteen for a little while. We got clean, dried off and into bed. Kathy was still clean shaven, neckline to toes. I nibbled, kissed and caressed everywhere she liked it and very soon she was moaning. I held her clit between my teeth and flicked my tongue on it and she screamed into a pillow. As she rested, enjoying the aftershocks we heard Heidi asking Tina in a loud voice, "Are they noisy like that a lot?" "Every night!" Tina answered. "You think they'd give it a rest sometimes!" Then they both laughed. We laughed too, but not very loud. A couple minutes passed and I heard Heidi ask, "Momma, are you Ok? We heard you scream!" They laughed a long time. Somewhere else, in some other time, some other family it might have been different, but in our family at that moment they were telling us everything was perfect. When we woke up it was morning. We had a light breakfast and got dressed for Thanksgiving dinner with friends. Heidi asked questions about the proper answers to the question people would have about our family. Just before we got in the truck to go Kathy handed me an envelope. On the outside it said, "Mr. Pete Peterson." I opened it and read, "As of 10:00am the morning of 29 November Your DIVORCE is Final." I said, "That's today, isn't it?" Kathy smiled. I kissed her and said, "Wait right here. I almost forgot something." I ran to my truck and got what I needed from the small lock box behind the back seat. A small rectangular box covered in velvet. Standing in front of Kathy, Tina and Heidi I pulled the box from my pocket and opened it. "Kathy will you wear these rings to signify that we are linked together in love for all our lives?" "Is that the same as will you be my wife?" She grinned. "Yes." "Yes!" She held out her left hand and I slipped the engagement ring and wedding band on her. She took the band for me and asked, "Pete, do you agree to wear this ring as a symbol of my love for you and as a reminder that we are a partnership, forever?" "Yes!" She slipped it on, not easily, but firmly on. I kissed all three women, Kathy first. I drove. Kathy sat between Tina and Heidi in the back seat. They complimented me on the choice of rings I made. They oohed and ahhhed in the back seat all the way to Thanksgiving. We were warmly greeted at the door and I was pointed at their family room where the football orgasm was in progress. The family room had eight men and eight boys and one girl in it. A good seat was reserved for me. On a TV tray near my seat was an unopened bag of Doritos and a can of diet Coke. As soon as I sat a big mug filled with chunk ice appeared next to the can of diet Coke. I thanked the female arm that set it down and got a kiss on the cheek. At that moment a field goal was kicked and when I turned to see who kissed me, she was gone. One second after the time ran out for the first half a woman stood in the doorway and said, "I need four strong men to move some chairs and tables." I started to get up. Hands pushed me back in the chair. The owner of one of the hands said, "Sit. You've done enough already." Four men and all the boys old enough to carry a chair left. The remaining girl in the room, the only girl in the room, moved closer to me. She looked to be about the same age at Tina. She asked, "You're Pete?" I nodded. "Beth. Elizabeth really. Can I ask you a question?" I nodded again, offering her some Doritos. She didn't take any. "How did you know you were in love with your wife?" "Tell you the truth, I never didn't love her. Loving her, protecting her, helping her was my job. When I first met her she was new and didn't have friends or much family. My Dad said, "It's your job to protect her, love her and help her." I guess I've been doing it ever since. How I love her, protect her and help her has changed but that's the basis of everything in our relationship, from my side." "I think I love Scott..." "What does he think?" "I'm cute and fun. We love dancing together and going places together." "Does he defend you to his friends, help you with decisions and working through problems?" "Not really. He's not very good at listening." "Can you picture being his wife when you have kids your age? Will you be able to solve problems together?" She opened her mouth and I help up my hand. I said, "Don't answer today. Be with him and all of us today. Are Scott's parents here?" She nodded. "Watch them. So far they've been his teachers for how men and women get together. Does Scott's dad listen to Scott's mom? Watch how your own parents are together. That will influence how you'll expect both Scott and you to be ten years down the road." "Thank you." She touched my arm, got up and left the room. A Dad who hadn't left the room said, "I wish my kids had someone to ask questions of." "They do. You. Listen to them. Bite a hole in your tongue and they'll talk. The major complaint kids today have about parents is that they don't listen. I've been really blessed. My Dad listened when Mom talked. They talked together. Kathy's Mom and Dad were like that, too." After a few seconds he saw the teams out of the field and called out, "The game's back on!" I finished my diet Coke and set the big glass mug on the tray. Two plays later I looked and a fresh frosty mug was fizzing with a fresh diet Coke. You Jackass! I smiled. I love being taken care of. I wasn't sure which of my three women was taking care of me. I believed it was all three, no matter who delivered the Coke. The instant the game was over the television went dark. A woman in the doorway said, "Boys, please wash up for dinner. Momma will be checking hands before you sit!" She was trying hard not to laugh. At least six men and boys said, "Awe, Mom!" And everyone laughed. As we trooped to the bathrooms she said, "And actually wash! Don't let me see any black towels when you boys are done!" All of us responded, "Yes, Mom." I'd seen the dining room when we arrived. It had room for maybe eight skinny people who weren't hungry to have dinner. I had counted more kids than that. I followed and was led out of the house and into a six-car garage that had been cleaned within an inch of not being a garage. Women directed us to our seats. Two men sat at each end of the long table. I was put next to Mr. Browning. Kathy sat to my right and Bill Browning's wife sat to his left. Bill tapped his glass and said, "If I may, I know people get all schmaltzy on Thanksgiving. I will, but I'll limit it to two words. Read as deeply into these two words as you want to. That's exactly what I mean. If I say more, I'll cry." He turned to Kathy and to me and held our hands as he said, "Thank you." He sat down, with tears. I stood and said, "I echo those two words and add, we get it! Let's all talk later, after we thank everyone who prepared this feast by eating it!" Ten or more, "Amens" were heard and food began being passed. As we ate Kathy said, "Women noticed my rings when we arrived. They had noticed I didn't have them before. They were being resized back in Alamogordo." "To a six and a half." I said. I complimented nearly every dish on the table as they disappeared from my plate. I asked about how the beans had been prepared and the cole slaw. The woman who made the slaw was sitting next to Beth. She lit up like a star when I talked with her about the slaw. Beth watched her Mom and then winked at me. Heidi sat next to Beth. They talked quietly through the meal. They giggled sometimes too, and Beth immediately glanced at her Dad to see if she was in trouble for giggling. He only looked at her once and she stopped giggling from that look on. When the dinner was done, chairs pushed back a few inches and the traditional, "I ate too much" had been spoken. Bill stood again and said, "There's a new tradition this year besides sharing Thanksgiving with all of you. As a way of saying thank you to all the ladies who made the feast, the men will do the clean up. Children over eight will carry plates, silverware and empty serving plates to the kitchen. Men over fifty will clean the table and get the tablecloths in the wash. Little guys will pick up any food that dropped on the floor. Ladies, I think you can have the room where we watched football." Three women protested and Bill shooed them from the garage. I picked up what was left of the turkey. Bill got the ham. Everyone else picked up something and headed for the kitchen. I didn't hear a single complaint, from man or boy. I saw Beth pick up some plates and Scott looked at her for a moment and then added three plates to her stack. He didn't say anything. Another young guy was standing near me. I whispered, "Would you like a smile to light up your day?" He nodded. I whispered, "Take that stack of plates from Beth and say, "You've already done enough." Then take them to the kitchen. He walked quickly to Beth and took the stack. I heard him say the words and I saw her smile light both of them up. When I got to the kitchen he said, "You were right. Thanks." Clean up was easy and fun. One plate was broken. A ten year old let it slip out of his hands. His Dad didn't yell or get mad. He handed the boy a dust pan and broom. When it was cleaned up Dad said, "Nice job, Keith." I was impressed. At seven we were thanking every person for sharing Thanksgiving with us and getting ready to go home. Bill and I hugged. He turned to Heidi and Tina and said, "I'm pretty sure you'll both be in college next year. You're both invited here for Thanksgiving." As we headed home it was quiet in the truck. Just when we could see our new home Heidi said, "I didn't know family could be like this." We all nodded in agreement. We were barely inside when our phone rang. Heidi answered and squealed. She carried the cordless phone to her room and we heard laughter for the next few minutes. The three of us sat on the couch and Kathy held my hand. Tina said, "I saw what you did." Kathy and I both asked, "What did I do?" "You told Mark to help Beth with the dishes." "No, I didn't. I asked him if he wanted a smile to light up his world. Then I told him how to get it." Kathy asked, "What did you tell him?" "Beth had eight plates in her hands to carry to the kitchen. Her boy-friend saw her carrying them and added three more to her stack. He didn't say anything to her, just added the plates and walked on. Mark went to her, took the whole stack from her and said, "You've done enough." She blinded him with her smile. "Sneaky man." Kathy said. We kissed and Heidi came out of her bedroom. She said, "You won't believe what happened!" Kathy said, "If I can guess, you do the dishes for the rest of the weekend." "Deal! You'll never guess." She sat on a chair near Kathy. "Beth broke it off with Scott and is very interested in Mark." "Momma! Do you even know who Scott is?" "Yes. He's an idiot. No, I have no idea what he looks like." "He's gorgeous! He's also an idiot. He dissed Beth at dinner and Mark was a gentleman." "I heard about it. You don't need to do all the dishes. We'll help." I asked, "How was the conversation in the family room while we cleaned up?" Kathy beamed and said, "Most of the wives and daughters were wishing they had a camera to get pictures of husbands washing dishes. There were bets about how many dishes would be broken. I wanted to say I've watched and helped you do dishes since we were little, but I kept my mouth shut." "Thank you." Kathy continued, "I think some of the men may not like you very much. A couple of the wives said their husbands accused you of being less than a man if you do some of the things you do." "God! I work with these guys." Kathy smiled and Heidi said, "Wanna know what Momma told them to tell their husbands?" "You heard?" Kathy asked and blushed. "Momma said, "I use the reward system. When Pete does something nice for me I'm extra nice to him. When he does something incredible that he knows I want or need I take him to the bedroom and I'm his sex slave for the night." "I'm not telling what the other women said." Heidi added. I noticed she was blushing. She bounced out of the room and Tina followed. I kind of wished I had a tape recorder going wherever they went. "We're going to bed." I said. "To sleep or play?" Kathy asked, batting her eyes at me. "Both!" She jumped up and we spent the next couple minutes locking doors and shutting off lights. At our bedroom door we kissed and Kathy said, "I really like our home." I said, "I really love our family, too." In our bedroom I turned on the clock radio and undressed Kathy. She asked, "Do you miss Donna's big boobs?" "You mean the ones she complained about all the time? The ones she got angry when I looked at, touched or wanted more of? No. I like these more. I like that you like me to look, touch, kiss, fondle and suck these." "I know you promised her you'd pay for her surgery." "Yup. I need to do that. I told her as soon as the divorce was final." She pulled my boxers down and set about strengthening my ability to fulfill her desires. Our oral ministry created a standing ovation and focused my attention on something other than thinking about Donna's huge knockers and the events that ended our marriage. She released my pole from her mouth and had me lie back on our bed. She climbed on and lowered her pussy to my cock. Her fingers held her lips open as she lowered herself onto me. Kathy kept lowering herself until my cock was completely inside her. She rocked back and forth, rubbing her clit against my pubic hair and skin. Then she lifted up and dropped back down, hard. For a while I had my hands on her thighs feeling the muscles lift and lower her as she repeated the grind and lift. Then I reached for her breasts and she leaned forward to make holding her tits easier. I whispered, "I love you." She leaned farther over and we kissed. In the midst of that kiss she stopped moving. The kiss ended and she moved her mouth close to my ear. She whispered very softly, "Can I give you something? A gift I saved for you?" "If you want to." I whispered, too. She lifted completely off my cock and I watched as she got a tube of K-Y out of the nightstand and squirted a big dollop on two fingers. She spread the dollop on her ass and helped aim my shaft for her back door. When it touched right where she wanted it she looked into my eyes and said, "I know I'm going to love having you in my ass. Will you like having it?" Almost without thought my hips lifted and she felt pressure against her pucker. She smiled and said, "Get ready!" She pushed down, leaned a bit forward and I popped in! She said, "Oh!" and lowered herself down more. I lifted to meet her and soon we were completely connected. She applied the same rocking motion she had used when I was in her pussy and my thumb found her clit to rub. Kathy whispered, "Oh my God! Oh my God! That's the strangest wonderful feeling. Don't stop!" The FM radio played softly in the background. Suddenly Kathy leaned and upped the volume. Bill Medley sang the words, "I've had the time of my life, and I owe it all to you..." She lifted and fell on me and we sang along. I was overwhelmed with the sensations and the sight before me. As the song came to an end, I unloaded into Kathy's tight butt. She pressed down and ground against me and she came as well. We were both hot, a little sweaty and didn't care. Kathy stayed on top of me until my shrinking appendage popped quietly out of her ass. Even then we didn't move, until she realized one of us would be sleeping on the wet spot if we didn't move. She jumped off the bed and cupped her hand over her ass as she ran to the bathroom. As she went she commanded, "Stay!" I stayed, and barked twice. She came back laughing and cleaned me up with a warm, wet washcloth. She led me to the shower and we got very clean together. When we were back in bed she said, "Carolyn said she's been after her husband for over a year to finish the addition to their house. She's going to tell him that as soon as it's done her ass belongs to him." "I think I'm going to be busy at Carl's next weekend. He's gonna need help." "With the work, not her ass!" We laughed softly, held each other and fell asleep. Mid-morning the day after Thanksgiving I got a call from Donna. She didn't as about Thanksgiving. She said, "Get paper and pen. I have the address and details so you can send the money to the clinic." "I haven't changed my email. Just send me the details. When do you go?" "If they get the money, I go next week. You're not gonna renege are you?" "No. I said it." "Did you know Tina ran way?" "No. When?" She didn't run away. She moved in with me. "The same weekend your sister left Alamogordo." "You think my sister ran away from home too?" I asked, tongue firmly in cheek. "No, but I think she took Tina with her. This morning I called Heidi to see if she knew where Tina went and she didn't answer." "Heidi came and spent Thanksgiving with me. You didn't invite her. I did." "We weren't completely settled, so I couldn't invite her. She probably wouldn't have come anyway." "We'll never know now. Anything else?" "Nope. I'll send you the email today." "If I may ask, what does bigbuck think of you getting the surgery?" "James doesn't really like it but he says he understand why I want it." "Will he take you and bring you back?" "He says he will." "Ok. Send me a picture of the new Donna, Ok?" "Why? You want to compare me to your new woman?" "New woman? Ever since I came to Denver I've worked seventy-five hours a week. That doesn't leave much time to go looking for a new woman. You know how I am, work first then play. The only women I've met since I got here are married, happily, to my co-workers." "Work first is how you've always been!" "Well, say "Hi" to bigbuck for me and tell him I hope he's happy. In fact I hope you're happy, too." I ended the call. I waited half an hour and retrieved the email. I called the clinic and arranged payment. The clinic manager I spoke with said that donna had requested a three week stay for recovery but that they only recommended four days for breast reduction since they were not removing muscles of lymph nodes. I paid for the four-day post-op recovery. They sent me emails invoices and detailed agreements about her surgery. I sent a copy to Donna and by mid-afternoon it was a done deal. According to the papers I had Donna would be a "C" cup at most and a "B" cup at smallest on one week. We explored Denver on Saturday and had dinner out. On Sunday we loaded Heidi in her Toyota and sent her back to Cheyenne. There were tears and hugs before she left and when she was out of sight we hugged some more. We went out for supper again and tried a new Chinese restaurant. It was great and got Kathy and Tina away from thinking about missing Heidi. They were fine until we got home and they listened to her message saying she was back in her cold, small, empty apartment. I gave them both towels to cry into and went to my computer. It was dusty in there, too, but no one saw how dusty except me. Kathy was working, but the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is not boom time for real estate. I was working long hours and the company's big push was to get us to a place where we could shut down for the last ten days of the year. Tina was going to school and football games and dances. Life was full and happy. That changed on the tenth of December. I got a call from a clinic in Alamogordo. The lady on the phone identified herself as a nurse. She asked if I had a copy of the contract Donna had signed and I had paid for. As we talked I sent it to her. She read it and said, "That's not what they did." "What did they do?" I asked. "As you know Mrs. Peterson..." I interrupted, "She's not Mrs. Peterson." "Sorry. As you know Donna Peterson had breast reduction surgery. She came in today to have the bandages removed and a post-op check up. She took one look and became hysterical. We needed to sedate her." "What's wrong?" "They left her with nothing! She doesn't even have nipples! Where her breasts were she has two large "U" shaped scars and rough stitches." "Damn! No wonder she fell apart. What did her new guy do?" "Nothing! His business has been sold and he left Alamogordo while Mrs. ... while Donna was in Mexico. She came back on the bus last night." I thanked her for letting me know and we ended the call. I called the clinic in El Paso. It rang twice and the phone company answered, "The number you have dialed is not a working number. If you feel you have reached this number in error..." They were gone. Bigbuck was gone. The propane company was gone. I was gone. Tina was gone. And, Donna's tits were gone, too. Donna drove herself into a shit storm and was stuck axels deep. I told Kathy what was up. We told Tina and Heidi. Their first impulse was to go to Donna. Kathy and I stayed quiet. Heidi started getting ready to make the long drive and checked the weather service. The maps showed a big storm moving into the area. The estimates she got had changed the estimates of drive time to eighteen hours and warned against attempting it without snow ties and chains. Heidi called Tina and they decided not to go. They waited to hear from Donna. They waited all the rest of the tenth. On the eleventh, Tina called Donna's home number. The machine answered with bigbuck's voice saying, "Leave a message. We'll call you back." She left a message. On the twelfth Tina and Heidi watched weather reports. It stormed all over lower Colorado and New Mexico. Roads got closed, power went out in many places and they didn't hear from Donna. At ten-twenty on the thirteenth my cell phone rang. I stepped away from the machine I was working on to get some quiet and answered. "Mr. Peterson, was Donna Peterson your wife?" A male voice asked. "Yes. Who is this?" "Mr. Peterson there is not easy or gentle way to tell you this. Donna Peterson is dead." "Damn!" Thoughts went racing through my head: James killed her when he found out she'd screwed around on him, too. The loss of her tits tossed her over the edge and she killed herself. "Mr. Peterson?" I snapped back to attention. "Sorry. My mind went to speculations. What happened?" "Near as we can figure she drove out of town up to Cloudcroft. She parked off the road, lowered all the windows in her car while it was snowing, took quite a few sleeping pills and removed all her clothes. She shut off the engine and left the radio on. The coroner believes she did this on the eleventh." "Is it a suicide for sure?" I asked. "Based on her note, Yes. The note is addressed to you, Heidi and Tina. Those are your daughters?" "Yes. Heidi is in college and Tina lives with me. What does the note say?" "Would you rather I read it to you or send you a copy over the internet?" "Send it, please." "When the storm is over and the roads clear we need for you to come and handle the legal issues and claim her body." "Yes, of course. We're her nearest relatives." He thanked me for being helpful and we ended the call. I called Kathy at work. "Honey, are you sitting down?" "Yes, with my knees apart hoping my handsome husband will crawl over here and please me." "I don't think that's going to happen today. Honey, Donna is dead. She committed suicide in the storm." "Oh God! Tina and Heidi!" "I'm mostly worried about Heidi. She's stuck at school. Even if we wanted the storm has us pinned in Denver. She's alone. What can we do?" She thought. I thought. She said, "I'll call you right back. Don't move, don't call anyone. Get a diet Coke and some chips." The line died. Ten minutes later she called back. "Write this number down." It was a Cheyenne number. "Call her and give her Heidi's address and the details of what happened. She's the school's grief counselor. She'll tell Heidi and hold her as long as she needs to." I called the woman and gave her the information. I told her I had the note Donna had left. She said to wait and when she was with Heidi they would call me and I could tell Heidi everything. Jackie, the counselor, would be there to hold Heidi for me. It took her an hour before she called back. She said, "Pete, we're in Heidi's room. Here's Heidi." "Daddy, what's wrong?" "Heidi if you knew you were about to get bad news where would you want to be?" "On your lap with your arms around me." She was crying already. "Sit on Jackie's lap and close your eyes. I know it won't feel like me, but she's there as me." I heard her move and then say, "Tell me." "Donna killed herself two days ago. The police believe it was suicide. She left a note." I heard her sob and I wished I could be there holding her. Jackie did just what I would have done. She stayed quiet. When Heidi was ready for more she asked for it. "Did you read the note?" "Yes. The police sent me a picture of the note. It was hand written and put in a zip-lock bag by Donna." "Should I know what's in it?" "You're an adult. It will hurt, but if you don't know, won't you wonder forever?"
