Twin Tigers

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I know you were expecting this to be a Complications update but I lost the spark for it. I won't post anymore for that story until I can finish it. This is a new genre for me and I am very excited for this story. I have two chapters down, unknown amount to go. Please leave comments and let me know what you think! PAST

Alpha Joel Barren looked at his twin daughters lovingly.  They look just like you honey. 

Are you sure? Their eyes were blue last time I saw them. Neither one of us have blue eyes. 

They are only a few months baby they might not stay the same color. Their eyes are green now and their skin is caramel and is gorgeous just like yours. 

Quite the charmer my mate, I wonder how our pack will respond when I tell them how sweet you are.

Do that and it's your ass mate! When can we make more beautiful creations?

I'm still healing buddy, so it's going to be a while.

Well I think I can-

BOOM!

Alpha Barren turned to the direction of the explosion. 

Oren walked into the room confidently. "There they are. I can't wait to have them." Oren moved towards the cribs. Alpha Barren willed them to his mate in the medical center.

Marian! Oren is trying to take the girls! Put them in the safe room and lock it. 

"Natalia, take the girls to the safe room and spell lock yourselves in." 

I love you my beautiful daughters.

Marian kissed both of their heads and handed them to Natalia. Natalia willed her and the twins into the safe room and started chanting a spell to lock them in. 

Marian willed herself next to her mate and shifted into a stark white tiger. 

Who does this bastard think he is?

Calm down sweetie your fur is turning red.

"To what do we owe this surprise Oren?"

"I came for my new mate and her sister. They will benefit my plans generously."

Marian shifted back.

"You wish. You'll never get them, not even over my cold dead body Oren! You're a fucking idiot and a bitch to think it's going to be easy." Marian screamed as she willed him into the concrete wall.

"Oh how wonderful Marian! I knew you would try something like that. You see I have gotten better my ex- sister. "Oren whispered something and pulled a vial out of his jacket. 

"Cheers you guys, you won't last long anyway." Oren drank the vial and started coughing.

Marian threw a fireball at him, but it never reached. It just disappeared.

What the fuck? 

We have to shift Marian, our powers are useless. 

Where Marian and Joel were once stood appeared a giant stark white tiger and a giant black wolf. Marian took a swipe at Oren's arm as Joel went for his throat. As they were both launching towards Oren they froze mid air. They looked towards each other. Oren flung them back and trapped them in a dome. Marian shifted back.

"How the hell did you do that?"

"It was easy, my dear Marian. Vials of white tiger blood like yours and I obtain all your powers. Your daughters are the end of the line. As long as I have them, that's unlimited access to the blood I need. If I mate with one I won't need their blood I'll have my own."

Damn it, Joel.

I know sweetheart. What should we do?

We have to give all our powers to the girls and do the protection spell. We have to; if he knows where they are he could harm them. 

Ok mate. Cast it, quick! 

"This is where it ends you two." Oren twisted his hand and made the dome catch fire.

Marian started chanting holding on to Joel. 

Natalia, we are giving the girls all our power. Take care of them for us my dear friend. There is a jade chest in the safe room wall. Take it and get far away from here.

Joel no! I can't!

Natalia listen! Take it and leave. Go as far as you need to. Everything you need is in there. Make sure our girls know of us. Let them know who we were and what we stood for. They are destined for greatness. Remember that Nat.

I will Marian, I will. I love you both.

We love you too Nat. Tell our girls we love them.

Marian and Joel felt their powers leave them and passed out.

Oren made more flames until it was blazing in the dome. Oren left the flame going letting them burn slowly.

"Now, for what I came for."

Natalia looked at the twin girls on the couch. She closed her eyes and sensed the jade box in the wall by the window. She willed it to her arms. She picked up the girls and held them close with tears pouring down her cheeks.

I will protect you girls until my dying breath.

Natalia willed them and the chest out of the compound and away from Oren.

Oren closed his eyes and sensed if the girls were in the compound, when he couldn't sense them he yelled out into the empty hallway.

"Fuck they got away! They won't be able to hide forever." Oren said as he released the dome of fire and let the unconscious dismantled pack to burn to the ground.

On the Southside of Chicago

Natalia appeared inside of her childhood home. She willed two cribs into the room and set the sleeping girls in them. Natalia picked up the jade chest and set it on the coffee table.

"How in the hell am I supposed to open this?"

Natalia replayed everything Marian and Joel told her. She went over it three times in her head then a phrase started to stand out. 

They are destined for greatness

"What does that mean? How can that open the chest? They are destined for greatness."

Suddenly the top of the jade chest opened. 

Marian, you suck. A voice activated lock, really?

Natalia opened the lid and peeked inside. The jade chest contained new identities, cash, and a card to an account that Natalia assumed contained money for the girls. Natalia went to close the lid when she heard a clunk. She looked closely at the top of the chest and noticed a latch. She pulled the latch but it wouldn't open. She pulled it harder but it wouldn't budge. She said the phrase again but it still didn't open up.

Natalia closed the jade chest back and walked over to the crib. She gazed at the sleeping girls.

Adina, Anastasia, I promise I will take care of you both.

Natalia kissed both of their heads then headed downstairs to look around and see what needs to be done.

Luna help whoever crosses those two.

PRESENT DAY

"Anastasia Marie Barnett, What is the matter with you? Why don't you call your aunt?"

"I'm sorry Auntie. I've been busy with classes so I haven't been able to call. How is everything?"

"It's alright. Your sister is coming back home for Christmas and is staying until your birthday. I think you should come."

"Auntie you know I want to-"

"Well it's settled! So I'll see you in a couple days?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Bye sweetie. Take care."

"You too, see you soon."

Anastasia dialed her sister's number.

"Really Addie, you couldn't say no? "

"I'm sorry Ana. She tricked me! She told me you were already coming so I said I'll go."

"I can't believe she still gets us with that one. So what are we doing for our big 21?"

"I don't want to do anything, but you already know Auntie Nat already set something up."

"Yeah you're right. She was pushy, well pushier than normal."

"Yeah I noticed. I got to go; I have like three papers to finish. "

"Whatever, I'll see you next week."

"Alright Ana, see you."

Ana hung up the phone and walked to her car. What I wouldn't give for some fun right now. 

Ana pulled away from the curb and headed towards her apartment.

Now for a little nap before I go to work. Ana walked into her apartment and got undressed. As she lay in bed her mind drifted and started to dream. 

Where am I? Ana looked around the large room. It's like a castle. 

"Who are you?" A deep voice asked.

 Ana turned around to the sexy deep voice. Hello there Adonis! Ana thought as her mind started wandering to thoughts that if her skin wasn't the color of warm caramel, would have been deep red.

The mysterious man cleared his throat. Anastasia snapped back from her naughty thoughts.

"What is this place?"

The unknown man lunged for Ana and tackled her to the ground. He pressed his nose into her neck.

"MINE!"

"Wh-what? Get the hell off of me! "

"You are my mate."

"I'm your what? I'm not anything! What the fuck! Who are you anyway?"

"I'm Master Alpha Nicolai Alexander. "

"You're who?" 

Ana started to wake up, who is this gorgeous man? What the hell did he mean by mate? Ana woke up in a cold sweat. What the fuck was that? Ana reached in between her legs, Who the hell was that, He was fine! Ana looked at the clock, Time for work, oh goody!

Adina placed her finished reports into her bag.

Finally! Now back to the dorms for bed. I can't wait to see Aunt Natalia again! It's been months since I last saw her.

Adina put her iPod ear buds in and started walking back to her dorm. As she was changing the song she bumped into someone and her Chemistry book went flying. Adina braced herself for the fall, but it never came. Adina opened her eyes and looked up into warm hazel ones.

"Uh... thanks. Sorry I'm such a klutz."

"No problem, I actually don't have an issue catching a beauty like you. Hi, I'm Paul."

"I'm Adina."

Adina pulled out of his embrace and straightened her clothes. She looked around for her chemistry book. She looked at Paul with the book in his hand. That was not there a few seconds ago.

"Thanks again."

"How about I walk you home, it's getting dark and you shouldn't travel alone."

"That's very sweet of you, but no thank you. Plus its broad daylight out here, that's not very unsafe." 

"Well maybe I could walk with you to get to know you."

Adina got a bad vibe from Paul, so she shook her head.

"No thank you, I'm not interested. See you around I guess."

Adina turned on her heel and walked away. The nerve of that guy! Oh such a cool act, yet his intentions were foul.

Adina shook her head and walked into Venus Hall. 

"Hey Addie! You want to hang out tonight?"

"Sorry Jess I'm too tired and I have a seven am class tomorrow."

"Party pooper."

"I know, maybe next time."

Adina unlocked her door and changed her clothes for bed. I should really pack now so I won't have to rush.

She went to her closet and picked out her suitcases. She grabbed a couple sets of pajamas, a couple party dresses, some jeans, a few t-shirts, and some sweaters.

You can never be too sure with Chicago weather, likely to get there and its 87 degrees outside in November.

Addie closed up her first suitcase then started filling here smaller one with shoes and purses. 

I should really put my jewelry box in my carry-on bag; I do not need any of my necklaces broken and earrings missing.

She grabbed her jewelry box and walked back to the bed when she tripped over the edge of her suitcase. She expected to hit the ground, but when she opened her eyes her heart started beating out of her chest. She was floating in the air with her hands palms out in front of her. The jewelry box and its contents scattered across the floor and bed.

"HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK!" Addie yelled in her dorm room. Addie stayed like that for a minute then she tried to regain her balance. She closed her hands and felt herself falling again. She opened them again and didn't feel the ground. 

How the fuck am I supposed to get up?

She felt her body move up. If I think about it, it will work? She thought up again and felt her body moving upright. She placed her feet on the ground and stood frozen.

What the fuck is going on?

Twin Tigers Ch. 02



Anastasia stood wearily by the conveyor belt waiting for her luggage to appear. As she was grabbing her last bag she heard a high pitched scream behind her. There is only one person who screams like a banshee, Aunt Natalia. Ana turned around and spotted her aunt looking at her.

"Anastasia, is that you?" Nat screamed running towards Ana. She braced herself for the hug her aunt was bound to give her.

"Hey Aunt Nat, how are you? " Ana asked uninterested.

"Oh, no you don't. I want a better happy hello." Ana laughed heartedly.

"I'm sorry. Hi Aunt Natalia, you look good!"

"There we go. Now come on your sister got here an hour before you and she is circling around the terminal." Natalia called Adina to let her know where they were. When Addie pulled up they quickly put Ana's bags on top of Addie's and climbed into the truck.

"What took so long?"

"My plane was late; why the fuck do you care? It's not like you had shit else to do."

"Shut up Ana, shit! Why do you have to do that every time? I asked a question, why the fuck do you have to reply so nasty for?"

"That is enough! Watch your language! I swear you are not too old to be put over my knee!"

The girls laughed at that. "We're sorry Nat." They said in unison. As they headed to the house, Nat started to get nervous.

"What's wrong Nat?"

"Nothing, just happy you girls are home for break."

"I don't believe you, what's wrong?" Addie said risking a glance at her while driving.

"Okay fine. I'll tell you when we get to the house. Trust me you aren't going to believe this at all."

The car remained in silence after what Nat said. Each woman encased in the thoughts running through their head. A half an hour they were back at their childhood home. They carried their bags up to their old rooms. After they settled in, both girls drifted towards the family room. As they walked in they noticed a jeweled chest sitting on the coffee table.

"Sit down girls; it's going to be a bumpy ride. What should I start with?"

"I was going to say the beginning but that isn't always best so start with whatever is easier to say." Addie said folding her legs under her body as she got comfortable on the couch.

"Ok well, let me ask something first. Has anything, anything at all, happened out of the ordinary to the two of you?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like something not humanly possible, weird dreams, or like sixth senses?"

"Well, I had a weird dream. I had a dream of some guy who said he was the Master Beta something or other. He also called me his mate. What does that mean?"

"Hold on Ana. Addie, has anything strange happen to you?"

"Umm... I can't really explain it but I stopped myself from falling, without touching anything. Then I thought up and my body started rising up."

"Ok well, that seems normal. You are not human; you are known to some people as Were. Most humans don't know that Weres exist. There are different kinds of Were, there are werewolves, were-panthers, were-tigers, were-snow leopards, were- bears, were-cats, and many unknowns. There are other beings besides Weres also, like Vampires, Druids, and Fae, good and bad. What you girls are is the most important thing though. You are white tigers the rarest and deadliest were known. They are the most strongest and most powerful of Weres. Your ancestry leads all the way back to Luna herself. You also harbor abilities that basically what Addie said, you can't explain it. I am Were and I have abilities also, but I am not a white tiger. I am part Ancient. I don't need to explain it because truthfully I don't understand it. Are there any questions so far?"

"I don't believe you Nat. I can't just listen to you tell me something like this and expect me to just except it." Addie whispered.

"You expect me to believe that we are part of some freaky tiger family with magical powers? Have you been taking any medication lately Aunt Nat?"

Natalia looked at Ana and exhaled. Fine, don't believe me I'll show you. Natalia stripped naked and stood before the girls.

"What are you doing?!" Addie exclaimed.

"Oh my god it burns!" Ana screamed covering her eyes.

"Oh shut up you two. You don't believe me so I have to show you. Don't blink." Natalia stepped back. One minute she's standing there the next, a furry white wolf.

"What in the hell..."

Watch your mouth young lady!

"Holy fuck, how did you do that?!" Ana yelled grabbing her head.

"Do what?"

She means this

"Holy shit!"

Okay seriously someone's about to get hit.

"Okay sorry, I'm just shocked."

Natalia shifted back into her human form and put on her clothes.

"Okay let's say I believe you. That still doesn't explain the dream I had." Ana said sitting up in the loveseat adjacent from Addie.

"Your dream is what we call a mating dream. A mate is your other half, someone who completes and compliments you. There is also the mating pull; it's like your psyche being drawn to your mate, your subconscious recognizing your other half. Are there any more questions?"

"Can you tell us about our parents?"

Natalia eyes started to tear up," They were amazing people. When you two came along they were so happy and proud you could see it in their eyes. Your mother, Marian, was a white tiger, your father, Joel, a big black wolf. There are only female white tigers that I know of, I've never met any male white tigers. I and your mom have different mothers but the same father. Which is why I am not a white tiger, my mom died giving birth to me. My father was pure Ancient so that's why I have abilities. Your grandmother was a beautiful woman too. She took care of me like my mother would have. Your grandfather was happy about having another baby. I admit I was jealous but your grandmother made sure she showed me just as much love.

Your mom was very outspoken. She would get into so much trouble over the years that every time we would go back to visit our parents everyone would talk about her escapades. Like one time while she was working at the local mall she called her manager a prick over the PA system for making her work late and making her miss a party. Your mom didn't hold her tongue. During the week of her 21st birthday though, weird things started happening to her. She knew what was going on but I didn't. I thought she just couldn't shift but she told me she wasn't allowed to yet. She told me Luna wanted to wait until she reached a mature age for her to shift and embrace her true self. She always had to train, to prepare herself for what was to come. Even though it wasn't her birthday she started getting little glimpses of her abilities.

For instance, your mom hair changed colors. When she was mad her hair would turn blazing red, sad it turned blue, when she was tired or exhausted it was snow white, and when she was happy it turned yellow. Her natural hair color was black, so black that people always wanted to know what she used to dye her hair. People just thought she just changed her hair color all the time.

Then the mating dreams started. She knew what it stood for and explained it to me. I've never had one but if I did it would be so much easier to find my mate. When her tiger appeared she became restless, she always had to be outdoors, when she was indoors she had to be naked. On the first full moon after her birthday she shifted. It took us both by surprise. She was so scared she clawed up my brand new couch. "Nat laughed at her memory.

"What about our dad?"

"Well he was Alpha of his own pack. He met your mom a few weeks after she started having the mating dream. He said it was driving him nuts to know who his mate was but didn't know where she was. The pack had at least 250 pack members. Your mom was nervous about being an Alpha but she realized that she was an Alpha even if she didn't believe it. Joel was an all around good person and I really wish he saw you guys grow up." Natalia said wiping her eyes.

"How did they die?" Ana asked, moisture gathering in her eyes.

"Well about two months after you both were born a human named Oren had come to steal you. I'm not sure exactly how it happened because I was protecting both of you and had to get into the spell lock chamber. All I can remember is Marian and Joel telling me to take care of you guys and make sure you knew of them. They gave all their powers to you too, Alpha Joel and Marian Barren. That is probably why your abilities are showing up so early. Well that, and your birthday falls on the full moon this year. "

"Are you telling me that on our birthday we are supposed to experience our first shift?"

"Unfortunately, yes. I will help you as much as I can."

"Okay so what's this thing?" Addie said pointing to the jade chest.

"This was our back up plan. Your parents had it just in case something went wrong I assume. It had money, new identities, and there's something in the top but I can't open it. There are pictures of your parents in here if you want to see." Nat said opening the chest. She pulled out the pictures and gave a few to each girl.

"Their names were Joel and Marian Barren."

"Wow. Our mom was gorgeous. Even when she was pregnant with us! Ana look!"

"We have our dad's eyes. His was vibrant green like ours Addie." Ana said looking at the picture.

"What are those?" Addie said pointing to a picture of Marian holding a box with two necklaces.

"I've never seen those."Natalia said.

"Maybe that's what's in the lid of the jade box." Ana said reaching for the latch, but it wouldn't budge. Addie walked over and tried also but it still didn't open.

"Wait, Addie, didn't you say you stopped yourself from falling?" Natalia asked.

"Yeah I did."

"That means you have the ability to will or move things. Whatever you believe you can do, even if it seems impossible you can do it. It helps to picture it happening. So see if you can will the latch open." Natalia said.

Addie closed her eyes and concentrated on the latch. She pictured the latch popping open. She heard a clunk. Addie opened her eyes and saw the latch door open and a small white box. Natalia picked up the box and opened it. Inside were two necklaces with emerald stones. On the sides of each necklace were a tiger and a wolf. She handed each girl one. Natalia felt the air hum with power. Ana felt an electric current shoot up her spine and dropped the necklace on the coffee table.

"Okay let's put these back. We don't know what they are so we really shouldn't touch them." Addie said placing hers back into the box. Ana followed suit and handed the closed box back to Natalia.

"Okay then Aunt Nat, I'm tired. I'll see you tomorrow." Ana said standing up off the loveseat and stretching. She walked up the stairs and headed to her room.

Ana laid with her eyes closed on the bed, thinking about everything she heard today. Why me? Yesterday I was a normal HUMAN girl working in a hospital and going to college to be a doctor. Now I'm some freaky magical tiger! Could things get any worse?

Ana appeared in the same library as before, she looked around and noticed that no one was in the room with her. Why here? Why does it keep bringing me here? She walked towards the shelves overflowing with books glancing at the titles.

"Who are you?" Ana jumped startled. She turned towards the voice and realized it was the same man from before.

"My name is Anastasia Barnett."

"Why do you keep invading my dreams?"

"Well this is a mating dream and I'm your mate."

"I know you're my mate, why haven't I seen you in person?"

"I guess it's just not the right time."

Nic walked towards Ana like a wolf trapping his prey, causing Ana to retreat back closer to the wall.

"What are you?"

"Well, I'm a white tiger."

"Did you say white tiger?"

"Yes. Got a problem?"

"No, it's just I've never pictured my mate being the last white tiger."

"I'm not the last one." What the fuck is wrong with me? Stop talking!

"What do you mean?"

"I'm a twin, so there are two tigers. I'm sure there are more somewhere." Nice going blabber mouth!

"You have a twin? Can I see your Tiger?"

"Yes and no."

"What do you mean no?" Ana could see the hurt in his eyes.

"Not like that! It's just, I haven't seen her yet."

"You've never shifted?" Nic looked at her incredulously.

"No, white tigers don't shift until they are 21." Ana said sliding along the wall away from Nic.

"Why do you move away from me?" Nic said looking hurt again

"Because I'm scared."

"Well, because I'm scared."

"What are you afraid of?"

"Everything, I have no clue what to do or who I am anymore. Everything has changed when I do not want it to. I don't know what's supposed to happen next and it scares me!" Ana said, tears falling from her eyes.

Ana felt herself starting to wake.

"I'm sorry; it seems I have to go. Sorry for the little breakdown I just had. It was rude."

"No, I rather you tell me what's wrong than lashing out at someone else."

"Okay then bye, I'll try not to cry next time." Ana said wiping her eyes.

"Bye Ana, I'll see you next time." Nic said, kissing her cheek.

Ana sat up in her bed and wiped the tears off her cheeks. She got out the bed and walked to her vanity mirror. She looked at her reflection.Her long processed straight hair that reached the middle of her back was frizzy from not wrapping it up.The eyes that made everybody wonder if she painted her skin the color of warm carmel topping, were red rimmed and puffy. They were a deep vibrant emerald green that you don't really see on people of color. Her face was flawless except for a faded scar above her right eye from a fall she had when she was younger.

Ana pulled her hair into a loose bun atop her head and headed to her bathroom. As she did her morning ritual she thought about her life and how it has changed.

How and the hell am I supposed to shift?What powers will I have? What the hell am I going to do about this mate shit? Were questions that went through her head as she showered.

Ana grabbed her jasmine scented body oil and rubbed it all over her body starting at her feet. She picked out a bra, panties, some sweatpants, and a cami out of her suitcase and got dressed. She walked to the spare room that Nat converted into a office and checked her emails from her teachers. After she did that she checked her Facebook and Twitter.

She looked at her notifications and signed out. She went back to her room and grabbed her sketch pad from her bookbag. She flopped on the bed but quickly decided to go outside to draw. She walked to her balcony and placed the sketch pad and charcoal pencil in her mouth. She climbed onto the piece of roof closes to her and got comfortable, leaning against the crook of the roof. She let her frustations go as she drew.

Jerry sat in his office going through his reports. When he came across one report he flew out of his chair and ran to the elevator. He rushed into the elevator and pressed the top floor. As he stepped out of the elevator he felt a chill run up his spine. He ran to the end of the hall and to the dark office. He placed it on the desk and ran out of the room.

Moments later, a chair crashed through the top floor window, falling 20 stories down.

Addie sat on the couch watching tv. Nat walked in moments later.

"Nat can I talk to you?"

"Sure sweetie, what's wrong?" Nat said sitting on the loveseat.

"Well, can you tell me about my parents? The way that you knew them?"

"Well that's easy. Your mother was a pain in the ass. She had a temper as big as the oceans combined and she was stubborn too. She stopped talking to me for a whole month for breaking the heel of her stupid YSL heels that she made me wear! They were a 18th birthday gift to her from her grandparents and she wanted me to wear them because they matched my dress. I told her I couldn't walk in those things but did she listen? No. So as we were leaving some party we went to, the heel got caught in a sewer cap and it snapped off when I tried to pull it free. She was so pissed her hair was red for a week." Nat said laughing.

"Is there anything else I should know about my mom?"

"Well she was engaged once, before she started having the mating dreams. She thought she was in love and she had found her mate. I mean, they were only 18, I don't know how she believed that when that guy, Thorton, was a total jerk. To this day, I still don't know what he was but he always made me feel danger around him.

Your mom was practically oblivious to it. His brother Oren ,however, was worse than he was. I still believe Oren killed him that night but no one will ever really know the truth because his brother disappeared after the funeral. Your mom started having the mating dream a week before the wedding. She knew then that she couldn't marry Thorton so she canceled all the preparations and tried to talk to him. He kept saying she was getting cold feet and that it will pass.

She couldn't tell him about the mating dream because he wasn't a Were and he wouldn't understand. She told him it was over and he tried to kill her. He choked her up on the wall and told her blantantly that she was marrying him whether she liked it or not. She used a bit of her powers and willed him into the wall, posed as if she pushed him. She left him that night and stayed with me.

I thought Thorton knew then that she wasn't human and might have told Oren. The next week, Thorton was dead. Found decapitated and scorched in another city. Your mom cried for him. Oren blamed her for his death then disappeared. Until you two were born. He tried to take you from Marian but they fought him and we escaped."

"What about my dad?"

"Well Joel is hard to describe. He was a priss ass. Everything was neat in his quarters, from his office to how many socks were in his underwear drawer. Which was a total opposite to your mom because she was a slob. When your father first saw her room he had a few omegas get cleaning supplies so he could clean up. Of course the omegas were not letting that happen and ended up cleaning the room themselves, even though they really could have gotten serious punishment for disobeying their Alpha, the omegas saved him. Your mother had clothes everywhere! They found shoes in her clothes hamper. Your mom was embarassed. But your father didn't care, he loved your mother. He was all big and tough to everyone else, but a big softy with your mom."

"Why haven't I had a mating dream yet?"

"You and your mate may not need eachother yet. I don't know how the mate thing work fully because I've never had one, but I think Ana or her mate need the other. Whether we are aware or not, mates know."

"Why can't me and Ana talk to eachother how you did in your... other form?"

"You mean in my wolf form? Well actually you should already be able to communicate telepathically, you didn't just have the connection. You may be able to establish it before your powers are unlocked because your twins. Ana! Come down here please!"

"Ok. Here I come Nat!" Ana replied.

Ana walked into the room and sat on the couch next to Addie.

"So what's up?"

"I want you and Addie to create a mental link between you two."

"Uh, and how are we supposed to do that."

"Open your minds. Picture a door inside your head and open it. Grab eachother's hand and find a similar feeling in your head. Once you find that feeling say a couple words to establish the bond fully. The closer you are the stronger it is, the farther away you are from eachother usually weakens the bond until you are closer."

Ana?

Addie?

Yeah?

Whoa! Not fun anymore. Ana said, silencing the mental link.

"Okay, now that we have done that. Why do we have different powers from eachother?"

"Well my guess is that these are the only powers you need before your powers are unlocked. You might not want to find out why they are unlocked, but know they will come in handy should the time come."

"Can I will things like Addie?"

"Have you tried?"

"No."

"Well try. Addie explain it to her."

"What? I can't explain that!"

"Well make her feel it. Send the feeling or action through your bond."

"I'll try..."

Addie opened the link fully and looked at Ana. She closed her eyes as she tried to concetrate on getting her suitcase through the bond. When she opened her eyes Ana was holding her suitcase.

"Oh shit. It was like you were controlling me. Try something else!" Ana said.

Addie tried again only this time she was throwing the remote at the wall. Addie left her eyes open this time because she wanted to see what happened. Addie willed the remote through the bond and watched as Ana hand raised and swung as the remote went sailing through the air into the wall.

"Oh my goodness." Nat said with wide eyes.

"Ana see if you could will something." Addie encouraged with bright eyes.

Ana thought about what she wanted to do then glanced at the lamp and watched it float in mid air.

"Holy hell that's amazing." Ana exclaimed excitedly.

"Nat there is something I wanted to ask you. Why can I feel someone's intentions or feelings?"

"You could be a empath. It's like you can feel someone's emotion as if its your own, or feel their intentions."

"Oh. Why would I need that?"

"You may be able to read other people's minds. You can't use it for us because we are related and its a given. We'll try tomorrow. Oh yeah, on Friday, clear your schedules. We are going to a spa."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes sir. They have surfaced."

"Both of them?"

"Yes sir."

"Yes! My plan will soon be complete."

"Do you need both sir?"

"Not really, but to be sure I will kill one."

Nicolai turned to his Betas.

"Yes but there are complications. I don't need you right now, you may return to your posts." Nic created a mental link with his sister.

Si Sorella. I just have something I need to tell you, it's urgent.

Okay Fratello I'm walking into the house now

Nic silenced the link and walked to his mini bar. He poured two shots of 1800 and sat them on his desk. Seconds later Cristia walked in and sat on the coner of the desk.

"What's the matter Fratello?" Cristia said glancing at the two shots.

"One is for you, and trust me you will need it."

"What happened?"

"I found my mate."

"Congratulations! What's wrong with that?"

"She is forbidden. I mean forbidden as in she will get killed if she is found."

"What do you mean?"

"My mate is a white tiger and I know because I am experiencing the mating dream and she told me."

Cristia grabbed one of the shots and turned it up. She closed her eyes as she set the glass down and reached for the other one.

"You don't need this, you have to stay sharp."

"What am I going to do? What can I do?"

"Stop whining, your the damn Master Alpha for fuck's sake. Your not going to bitch your way through this damn it."

Nic looked at his sister. He knew why she said it. They have known since they were fourteen. When he finds his mate she will find hers. That is the way it's supposed to be, that is the way it's written. Fate has deemed it so.

"You make laws and change laws. You better do something damn it. Or I will personally kick your ass. Talk to her, learn about her, see if she has anything planned. She is your mate, your equal, she is a part of you. Are you really going to let a part of you go?"

"Damn Tia, you sure know how to give a speech, guilt trip and all. Okay, I will see what she has planned. I want to meet her in person soon."

"You can't. You meeting in person can put her in harm's way, it's too dangerous."

"I understand. When did you become the older sibling?"

"Don't know, you tell me."

Author's Note: Hi my readers! If I still have any... My lights are currently back on but now I have no internet.  If this is posted one of two things happened: 1.My phone is back on, therefore, my internet is back on, or 2. I was able to hook up to an open Wi-Fi connection. This chapter is longer than usual. (I had a lot of time on my hands with no electricity) I plugged up my laptop wherever I could! Ana was not surprised when shortly after she laid her head on her pillow, her eyes closed and she appeared in the library again. She saw Nic sitting in one of the chairs by the lit fireplace. She walked towards him and slid into the seat across from him.

"Ciao Bella, how are you feeling tonight?"

"I'm doing better. Again, I am truly sorry for the breakdown last time. It's just, have you ever had your life turned upside down in a matter of minutes? Everything you once thought you knew being skewered and uncertain?"

Nic looked at his mate and knew exactly how she felt. The memory of losing his father and forced out of the pack was coming back to him. The years of living as a lone wolf, the tightness in his chest made him realize how alone he has been for the past years. Nic gazed at the woman across from him. He started at her flowing hair, flowing past her shoulders in a ponytail. Her eyes focused intently on the flame from the fireplace, shining in their uncertainty. Her plentiful breast incased in a bra and tank top. Her shapely legs covered by sweatpants with her feet placed inside some duck slippers. 

He chuckled behind his hand. Ana looked towards him and followed to where he focused his eyes. She blushed. 

"Don't laugh at my slippers. They are warm and soft."

"You sure you don't need to take them to the pond?" Nic said laughing fully out now.

"Oh so you have jokes. Well let's see if this is funny." Ana said and then willed him into the air.

"Whoa! Put me down please!" Nic said as he flipped in the air.

"Aw... you want to come down?" Ana said lowering a little bit.

"Please I'm not the best at high altitudes." Nic said closing his eyes.

Ana placed him back in his seat. Nic opened his eyes and walked towards Ana. Ana started behind her chair and Nic eyes took a hold of a deep amber. Ana own eyes reflected in a deep ocean blue. She kept backing up as Nic kept advancing towards her. With his wolf close to the surface, he tried to tell her to stop but it was too late, she had already started to turn and run in a sprint. Nic felt his wolf take control as it basked in delight at the chase of their mate.

Ana ran down the three flights of steps and headed outside. She weaved through the trees and climbed up a big sturdy oak. Nic followed her scent and stopped at the tree. He looked into the branches but did not see her. He walked past the oak tree and headed deeper into the woods. As he cleared the oak he felt a presence and turned around just in time to catch a flying Ana. He wrapped his arms around her and took the brunt of the fall. Sliding to a stop, he rolled her under him.

He looked into her eyes and saw her naughty desires. He kissed her cheek first, and then went to her nose. He kissed her other cheek and licked her ear lobe. She gasped at the sensation. He kissed from her ear and made a trail along her neck. She bowed into his body and felt his arousal. She ground her hips against him. He moaned at the contact and started moving his mouth lower towards her breasts. She moaned at the contact and kept grinding on his erection.

Nic ripped Ana's shirt off her and started to devour her breast. He licked her nipple and watched it harden in the cool night air. He licked the other one and heard Ana moan. He felt her wrap her legs around him and start grinding faster. 

Nic felt his control slipping and jumped up. He started to back up quickly but noticed the look in Ana's eyes as one of a cat with a prey. He slowly backed away into a tree.

"Ana we can't do this. One this is a dream. We don't know what will happen; if we mate and people find out what you are, it might do more harm than good. We have to take precautions or something bad will happen. Did you hear me?" Nic said when he noticed her slinking towards him on all fours. 

He could feel his wolf wanting to break free and establish the bond with their mate but he can't.

Come on! She is already in position; just take her already!

No! We have to do this right. If we mate with her now we may lose her later. What are we going to do then?

Nic heard his wolf whine and recede to the back of his mind.

He looked at Ana and watched the blue bleed from her eyes.

"Oh, Nic I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me. One minute I'm standing there and the next I'm dry humping you!"

"It's okay Bella. Your tiger just wanted to take charge and mate."

"What are we going to do? It's too dangerous to meet in person."

"I don't know Bella. I am going to talk to my sister. You should talk to someone too. We have to take precautions now Bella, who knows what will happen if we do mate?"

"I can talk to my aunt Natalia. She was there for my mom; I'm sure she can help us."

"Do that. It seems the work of an Alpha is never done." Nic said as he felt himself waking up.

He walked up to Ana and kissed her hard.

"I will see you next time Bella." Then he vanished.

Even with the thoughts running through her head Ana smiled at the fact that he said he loves her.

Addie sat on the porch swing with her feet folded under her. She wrapped the blanket she grabbed off the back of the couch tighter to her body. She heard crickets and saw fireflies. She breathed the fresh air in deeply. Her worries crept back up on her.

What did I do to deserve this? Why did I agree to come here?

Addie closed her eyes and breathed in the crisp night air. 

What will happen later?

Natalia walked onto the porch and noticed Addie sitting still with her eyes closed.

Adina? Are you okay?

No, I just do not want this to happen. Everything will change!

I am sorry you feel that way sweetheart. It will only affect you if you let it. Yeah things will change, but not so much where your whole life will be different. If you do not accept what is happening, you will always be at constant war with yourself. I will teach you both how to fight in a battle tomorrow, I hope your view will be different by then. 

Natalia walked back into the house and left Addie with her thoughts.

Ana slammed her hand on her alarm clock.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Ana hit the alarm clock again.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Ana knocked the clock on the ground and sat up.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Ana closed her eyes and chuckled.

Real funny guys, a simple 'wake up' or tapping would have done the trick and would have saved my alarm clock from a harsh landing.

Sorry Ana, Nat said 5 am and it is now 5:30 am.

And exactly what was the problem?

Ana, after dressing during the mental conversation with Nat, pulled a hoodie over her head and grabbed her wallet. She ran out the door and headed towards the park, stopped at the Starbucks down the block from the park, and continued heading towards Nat and Addie who were stretching. As Ana approached the two, she felt someone watching her. She turned around just in time to see a shadow of a man shimmer away.

Ana, scared out of her mind, rushed to Nat.

"Nat did you see that?"

"See what Ana?"

"That guy, he just faded away by that tree over there."

"No I didn't." Nat looked at Addie but she shook her head no.

"Will the necklaces to you girls. Whoever that was may have brought friends along."

Both girls willed their necklaces into their hands and placed them on their necks. They could feel the power racing through their bodies. Nat started to chant a protection spell.

Both girls looked up and saw a dome appear around them.

"This is a protection dome. No one can see in or harm us, yet, we can see them. Any magic we do will not go pass the barrier."

"Magic, what magic?"

"Well you're part Ancient, white tiger, and wolf. You have magical abilities that have not shown up yet. You will be able to complete spells like me."

"Okay... What's first?"

Nat started with hand-to-hand combat, then shifted into her hybrid form and battled them again. Next, she turned into her full wolf and fought them. 

After a ten-minute break, Nat made a large chest appear. She took out knives, guns, and other weaponry.

"You should master at least one of these weapons. Whether it is guns, blades, nun chucks, or a mace, you should master one because sometimes your abilities cannot help you or you cannot battle in your tiger form to get the upper hand. Now me, I master in the blades. I can throw knives, launch spears, and sling spikes. "

Nat took out a belt full of different knives and tied it around her waist. She made a target and sandbags appear on the other side of the dome, and then told the girls to step back. She reached towards the belt and started throwing knives at the target. When she was finished each knife, ranging from biggest to smallest, lined the outer ring with the smallest knife in the bull's eye.

"Oh my goodness Nat that was amazing!" Addie exclaimed.

"Thanks." Nat said walking up to the bull's eye and replacing the knives into the belt.

Ana walked up to the chest and pulled two 1911 Colt 45 pistols out. She tested their weight and took the safety off both guns. She aimed at the target and emptied both clips. When she finished she looked towards Nat and Addie, who both had on earplugs and stepped away from her.

All three walked towards the target and saw she got almost all 16 shots on the bull's eye. 

"Wow Ana! Those years of hiding that pellet gun in your closet paid off." Nat said with a twinkle in her eye.

"How did you know?"

"Well-"Nat started to say something but she froze. Addie and Ana looked where she was facing and froze. On the other side of the dome, there were many men in a group advancing towards them. Ana grabbed Addie in a tight hug. 

Nat! What do we do?

Calm down. I can will myself away but I will not leave until you both are safely away

Ana thought about her mate that she has not OFFICIALLY met yet.

I might never see him again...

Ana closed her eyes and cried. She felt a shift in the atmosphere and opened her eyes. In front of her were 150 Alphas in the flesh. There were another 100 of so on television screens. She froze in place.

Nic was in the middle of another Alpha meeting talking about the territories that needed to be defined more when he felt his wolf rush to the front of his mind. He looked at the other Alphas in attendance and saw they were not looking at him. He turned around to see what had their attention.

Standing to the left of him was his mate! She was holding someone with tears in her eyes. His wolf got angry at that.

Who dares make our mate cry! 

Nic walked towards the both of them and saw the recognition in his mate's eyes. He saw her squeeze the girl tighter. He walked them to a door of to the side that led to an office. He turned towards the other Alphas and let them know mentally that they will take an hour break. He walked back towards the office, not caring if the Alphas walked out or not. He walked up to his mate and loosened her grip of the woman. He pulled his mate into his arms and felt her visibly relax, but then she tensed again. She lifted her head and looked into his eyes.

Ana looked into her mate's eyes and felt protected. She pulled away from Nic and looked towards her sister. Addie, being shocked, eyes were wide open. Ana walked over to her and called her name. It did not work. She clapped her hands and Addie still did not move. 

Addie let out a piercing scream then fainted. 

Ana looked towards Nic with a confused look that mirrored his own.

Nat looked behind her and saw that the girls disappeared. She willed herself home and let the dome disappear.

She went to the attic and took out the three emergency duffle bags. She placed the jade chest into one of the duffle bags and snatched the bags up. She ran to the basement. She placed them on the floor and tried to sense Addie in the bond. She could not feel her. She tried to sense Ana and felt fear. After a while, she sensed that Ana was safe and had Addie with her. She looked around then willed herself to her parents.

Nic lifted Addie and carried her to the leather sofa in the office.

"What happened? Why are you here?"

Ana tried to not feel hurt by tone of the second question but she did.

"We were ambushed. Thirty or so men attacked us but our Aunt held them off so we could escape. To the second question, I did not try to come here." Ana hissed out, "I was thinking about how if they get to us I would not see my mate anymore. When I opened my eyes, we were with you."

Nic felt his wolf close the surface, but saw the hurt flashed in her eyes. He pushed his wolf down and pulled her into his arms.

"I didn't mean it like that. You are in danger here. They do not know what you are yet, and I wanted to wait to tell them about you. Where is your Aunt now?"

"I know she got away, I can sense it."

"I'm going to send you to my pack lands. I will be there in an hour, three at the most. I need to straighten some stuff out here then I will be there. Don't wander around; I will have guards on the doors."

"I don't want to go."

"That's not up for discussion, you have to go."

"I want to be here when you tell them. They will not believe you without proof. I am your proof."

"Be that as it may, it's not safe."

"That's why you're sending me away from here? Are you out your damn mind? I can take care of myself! I also have a very strong mate that will be right there to protect me." Ana said grabbing his face in her hands.

Ana kissed him hard then stepped away. Nic looked at her through hooded eyes.

"You are a good negotiator but I need a better bribe than that."

Ana's eyes flashed blue.

"Oh trust me; I know I can persuade you. But that's going to have to wait." Ana said then willed her and Nic to the middle of the room full of Alphas where they were once standing. 

Nic looked at her with golden eyes. Ana avoided his stare. Nic turned to the Alphas. All were in attendance, curious about the two women who mysteriously appeared in front of them moments before. Nic cleared his throat to get the Alphas' attention back on him; his wolf agitated at the attention on his mate.

"Alphas, this is Anastasia Barnett, my mate." Nic said, gesturing to Ana. He noticed the Alphas' look of approval.

"Unfortunately, there is a complication. You see, my mate, is a white tiger."

The Alphas were outraged!

"Impossible! The last white tiger died 20 years ago." Alpha Mychial Bellini, of the Italian Bellini pack, shouted.

"You can't expect us to believe that this small, defenseless, human woman is a white tiger." Scottish Alpha Brian McTaverish asked from a screen.

Ana watched as all the Alphas showed different ranges of anger and disbelief. She rolled her eyes. She willed the Italian Alpha that spoke into the air and watched. All the Alphas got quiet. She then lifted all the Alphas in the room up into the air also. The Alphas on the screen were stunned.

"If we are finished discussing how I'm not what I am; can I tell everyone a story?"

None of the Alphas objected. Ana placed all the Alphas back down and watched as they sat tensed, ready to attack in the blink of an eye.

"My true name is Anastasia Barren. My parents were Alpha Joel and Marian Barren. The last white tiger you are referring to Alpha was my mom."

Ana watched the Alpha blanche with regret.

"A man named Oren killed them for his selfish greed when I and my sister were babies. My Aunt Natalia got away with us and-" Ana stopped when she noticed the entire room of Alphas' eyes turn amber. She looked towards Nic and noticed his eyes were amber too.

"What did I say?"

"We know of Oren. He is a sadistic Vampire who has caused problems for all Weres and Super naturals alike." Nic said after reigning in his wolf.

"He killed my whole pack that day. Now he is after us."

"Us?" Alpha McTaverish said.

Ana turned towards his screen. 

"My twin sister and I."

Alpha McTaverish spoke again.

"There are two of you?"

"Yes. My twin Adina or Addie as we call her, she is also a white tiger. She is the one I was holding when I appeared."

"Why did we not know of your existence until now? Why can't we smell your tiger?" An Alpha in the back asked.

"Well she is bound. White tigers do not shift until they are 21. It gives them time to grow into themselves and train for their tiger."

"When do you turn 21?" Nic asked.

"In two days."

Oren sat in his leather office chair in his home office; looking at countless reports of sightings of his twin tigers. 

Where are they? They showed up on the sensors yesterday. Where could they be?

His office phone started to ring and he answered.

"Oren Mitchell speaking"

"Boss, I found them."

"Where?"

"In some park in Chicago, there was another Werewolf bitch with them."

"Gather some guys and go get them. Bring that other wolf bitch too. I can play with her for a while before I mate with the tiger."

"Yes sir I will check back in when it is finished."

Oren hung up the phone, leaned back in his chair, and placed his feet on top of the desk.

He started laughing.

"Too bad for you Marian, I still got to them."

An hour later, his phone rang again.

"Is it done?"

No answer

"I said is it done!"

"Unfortunately sir, it is not. The girls vanished before we were able to get to them."

"What about the other bitch?"

"She vanished too. It was really weird sir."

"Report back here with your group. Come to Conference room A."

"Right away sir."

Oren walked to the elevator and pressed the down arrow. On the elevator ride down, he thought of how he was going to punish them for this failure in retrieving his twin tigers. Oren walked to the door and placed his palm on the plate. The door slid open and he sat at the head of the table.

Moments later, there was a knock. Oren felt himself become feral. He pressed a button on the underside of the table to unlock the door. He watched almost 30 Vampire elders fill the room and felt his control slipping.

"There are almost 50 of you and none of you even touched one of them?" Oren asked to the crowded room.

"Well sir, as I said on the phone, they vanished before we were able to penetrate the dome."

"What do you mean vanish?"

"Not like a Vamp sire, but like an Ancient."

"Ancients? Are you trying to tell me those girls are Ancients? We haven't seen an Ancient in over 100 years!"

"Well they are back."

Natalia appeared in front of a two story ranch style home with a wraparound porch. To the right of the house was a multiple-horse stable with a corral and a big yellow barn. To the left was her mom's garden. As Natalia walked up the stairs, white and black blurred balls of fur tried to tackle her. She dropped the bags and caught them just in time. She rubbed their fur.

"Hi Yin, hi Yang; how are you guys? I have missed you two so much!" Natalia said accepting their kisses. The door opened again and a splitting image of Natalia walked out. Lila Carducci stood at 5'9 with the same flawless caramel complexion as her daughter, save for the scar on the side of her mouth. Her hair was cut short and just started to become sprinkled with gray hair. Her honey colored eyes shone with wisdom and unshed tears.

"Natalia Gianni Carducci, where have you been? I haven't seen you in; in I don't know how long. Oh, my precious daughter..." Lila got out before breaking down in tears and grabbing Natalia in a big hug. Natalia let her tears fall as she held onto her mother. 

Giovanni Carducci stood at 6' 7, his skin was bronzed from the sun, and his eyes were aqua blue pools of years full of gathered wisdom. His usually auburn shoulder length hair was cut to his ear and the temples have started to gray. Giovanni headed to the front door, until he heard his wife scream their daughter's name. He was frozen in place. He never thought he would hear her name again, let alone see her. 

He stood frozen in place as his wife and daughter headed towards him. He looked at his daughter and felt his cheeks get wet. 'She is safe, she is back' he thought as she stepped in front of him.

Natalia looked at her father with uncertainty until she saw his tears fall. She ran into her father's outstretched arms and cried into his shirt.

"It's okay Bumble Bee, you're here now." Giovanni whispered into his daughter's hair as he held here.

"What happened? Where were you?" Lila asked rubbing Nat's back.

Natalia wiped her eyes and sat on the couch wiping her eyes. She looked at her parents with concern and happiness in their eyes.

"I- I uh, I got stuck in a very difficult situation. Please don't say anything yet." Natalia said when she saw her parents questioning looks.

"Marian and Joel are dead. They had twin daughters and someone was after them. The guy, Oren, killed Marian and Joel to get to the girls but I took them and hid. I couldn't contact you or anyone else because it would have been too dangerous. I couldn't even tell you about Marian's death.

I wanted to call you every time I thought I couldn't handle it, or when the girls did something good in school, or when I lost Addie in the zoo, and when Ana broke her leg climbing a tree. I wanted you guys to know so badly, but I couldn't tell you anything without you or me and the girls being in danger. I have missed you both so much it hurt. I couldn't even call you with baby questions the first few months. I was so lost and afraid; I wasn't sure what would happen."

Giovanni rubbed her back. He couldn't stop touching her. He couldn't believe that he would see his middle child ever again.

"We are so sorry you were put in that position. It must have been worse with two babies!" Lila said hugging Nat with newly shed tears on her cheeks.

"But Bumble, why do you believe Marian and Joel are dead?" Giovanni asked.

Natalia looked at her parents and saw confusion. "What do you mean?"

Addie felt grass tickling her skin. She sat up and looked around the open field. 

'Where am I?'

'You are deep inside your mind'

'Who said that?'

'Me' 

Addie looked around and saw a black wolf approaching her. She started to back away. The black wolf stopped.

 'I won't hurt you Adina, for I am you. I am your wolf. You should not be afraid of me. I am here to help you'

'No, I'm a white tiger. What happened? How did I get here?'

'Unfortunately, you aren't. I have been bound because you aren't ready for me yet. You still have the abilities of our mother but we are not a white tiger. You are here because you have been through quite an ordeal; I felt you needed to relax for a while so I brought you deep into your mind. You are a strong person and I am honored to be your wolf but you have to accept me and yourself for what you are. You are at war with yourself because you can't accept me'

The black wolf continued to walk and lie down and did a rumbling growl at Addie's side.

'I'm sorry; I just couldn't accept that I wasn't who I thought I was. It was a lot to handle.'

'It is alright Addie. I think it is time for you to wake up now'

The black wolf nodded in her direction and jumped into Addie's body.

Addie woke with a start. She looked around at the room she was in but did not recognize it. She was in the middle of a giant four poster king bed. There was food placed on a tray next to the bed. Addie's stomach growled as she reached for the tray. She forked the food into her mouth thinking about her wolf.

Ana sat close to the door in the passenger seat of the dark Escalade, inhaling Nic's scent with every breath, wishing the car ride was over. She stared out the window watching the trees and houses speed past as they drove.

She thought back to the conversation over and over again. She knew Nic didn't mean it the way he said it, but that didn't stop it from hurting her. She glanced at Nic and noticed he looked tensed. 

"Nic, are you okay?" She whispered turning towards him.

"Yeah, uh, how long has Oren been after you and your sister?" Nic asked. He was being delightfully smothered in her scent. It smelled like raspberries and it made him hard like no other. His wolf was practically salivating at the scent of their mate and how close she was, thinking of mating with her right in the car.

"Since we were born; I think Nat said that his brother, Thornton, used to date my mom and almost married her. That is until my mom started having the mating dream and found her mate. Thornton tried to force my mom into marriage but it didn't work. Thornton ended up dead, burned in another city. Oren blamed my mother at his funeral then disappeared, coming back when we were a few months old to steal us."

"Damn. I'm sorry you went through that."

Nic pulled up to his home, or den, that he shared with the whole pack. He looked over to see Ana's eyes open in amazement. 

"You live in a castle?"

"Well I need a big home to house the entire pack, there are also smaller homes in the back of it for visitors or lone wolves who are transitioning into pack life."

"Wow." Ana said truly amazed at the lands.

Nic took the key out the ignition and stepped out the vehicle. He looked towards Ana and saw that she hadn't moved.

"Ana. Are you okay? What's wrong?" Nic said leaning back into the truck.

"What if they don't like me?" Ana asked looking straight ahead.

"Well if I love you I know they will. There are a few females that will try to intimidate you because they want to become Alpha Female or we had some past relations but you shouldn't worry. Just show power and aggressiveness towards them and they will start to take you seriously." Ana faced him at that.

"You mean to tell me I'm going to meet most of your exes and deal with disrespectful bitches when I get in there?"

"Unfortunately, yes but I have faith that you will be able to handle it. After all you are my mate." Nic said smiling.

Ana smiled back and hopped out the truck. She walked to Nic's side and grabbed his hand. She squeezed it as they got closer to the door. Ana took a few deep breaths and walked into one of the most beautiful houses she had ever seen. 

There were paintings of wolves in battle and war all over the foyer. There were statues by both staircases and a rug made from different animal skin leading to another room. She looked all around in amazement as he led her to another room. This room was filled with lots of tables remind her of the cafeteria at her school only it was twice as big. Every table was filled with people and the room became eerily quiet. 

Ana flinched but didn't retreat. She looked all around the room at the many faces. Nic felt her squeeze his hand and glanced in her direction.

"Why are there so many people?"

"Well the pack is made up of five different classes within the pack. Omegas, being the largest group, are the ones who handle the cooking and cleaning. Thetas, the next largest group, have certain hobbies and interests that can help the pack, such as: technology buffs, running restaurants and clubs, being an accountant, lawyer, etc. They all have jobs that are stationed at pack businesses and help bring in money for the pack. Then, there are the betas. They are the warriors of the pack, thetas and some omegas can fight in battle but betas are basically born for it. The next class is the in-command; those are the seconds and Alpha children. The seconds would become the Alphas if the reigning Alphas die and had no children, or if the children aren't old enough to take the position. Also, anyone can rise in status if they challenge someone in a higher class; just as someone can be demoted to a lower class. Lastly, there are the Alphas, One male and female that rules over the entire pack. They can be challenged for their position too."

"So the Alphas' children automatically have authority? Why not work them through the ranks? They won't be able to fully understand the structure and workings of the pack if they never experience it."

"Well, uh, I never thought of that. Then again, I have not had any kids." Nic said holding in a laugh. Ana's ears reddened in embarrassment. Nic walked to the center of the aisles. 

"Thank you all for being here today. I know few couldn't make it because of school, work, and appointments but I do hope the news reaches them. I stand before you all today with my mate by my side." Nic said excitedly.

Ana smiled wide at the response to the news. The packs' cheers and whistles were deafening. Ana glanced around the room and noticed a female damn near staring daggers into her on the side of the room closest to her. Ana stared right back at her, causing the woman to get angry.

One minute there was a woman, the next; there is a russet brown wolf. Nic went to move in front of Ana but she stopped him. Something told her that this was her battle. She heard a fierce feline growl in her head. The wolf went to attack Ana but the wolf was suddenly flying back. Everyone looked on confused.

'What is going on?' She tried to move closer to Nic but she couldn't move. 

"What is her name?"  'Who said that?' 

"Terry." Nic replied with confusion.

"Terry, change back." Ana felt herself say, even if it did rumble out of her mouth.

The wolf growled at Ana. She noticed a few men moving towards the wolf.

"No! Don't touch her, I got it. Terry change back now!" Ana felt herself command Terry. The wolf became angrier.

 'What the fuck?!?!' 

The wolf charged towards Ana. Ana waited until she was right in front of her and willed her into the air. The pack watched stunned. Murmurs of "What happened?" and "How did she do that?" were heard.

"I said change back you insolent bitch." 

Terry changed back. "Who do you think you are? Don't think just because you're his mate your suddenly the new Madame Alpha. I have been running the bitches of this pack for the last 60 years. I won't give up my position for some new half-breed bitch that's warming the Alpha's bed at night. You want to be Madame Alpha you have to take it from me." Terry sneered. 

Ana saw Nic about to speak but she stopped him.

"I don't want the position, thank you, but from the looks on the females around the room faces they don't favor you too much. Now don't undermine what me an Alpha Nic have, he's my mate. From the look you gave me when he first announced it, made it seem that you believed you were to be his mate. Am I right?"  'Dumb bitch' Ana co-signed mentally. 

Terry turned and looked around the room and noticed all the females smirking and giggling.

"You want to fight for the position? Let's do it, because obviously you don't deserve or respect your position. Oh yeah, as for the 'half breed bitch' remark, I'm not a human and me and Nic haven't mated yet. I'm a white tiger."  'Oh yeah! Whoa wait, what? Why would you tell her that of all things? And did you say you want to fight her? You're going to do all the work right? Right? Hello?' 

"You're lying. There are no more white tigers."

"Unfortunately, it's true. In two days you will see for yourself that I'm telling the truth, but for now, let's fight." Ana rumbled, dropping a disbelieving Terry on her ass and walking away.  'Can I have some control please? I don't want to sound angry when I talk to everybody else.' 'No. That female will try something, and when she does, I'll be ready.' 

Nic was stunned for a moment.  'What was that?' He thought running to catch up to Ana. Nic grabbed Ana's shoulder. 

"Ana? What was that?"

Ana's tiger turned and pulled Nic into a hug. She placed her nose to Nic's neck and inhaled deeply, immediately relaxing into her mate. Nic pulled Ana back and looked into her eyes, which were now a cerulean color. He knew her tiger was in control. He rubbed her back soothingly and led her to his quarters.

Oren was on edge. Every time he went for the tigers some bullshit stopped him. There had to be a way to get to them. 'Where the fuck did they go? Have their full abilities come in yet? Can they shift? Have they found their mate?' were questions that ran through his mind. Oren went to stand at the window when he heard the door open.

"I heard you have a problem."

"And just where did you hear that, Malcolm?"

"Well there is buzzing around the vampire community that you haven't caught those 'white tigers' yet."

"While that is true, there is that 'yet' at the end. I'm going to get them. Even if I have to kill every single Were out there."

"That's a bit, 'over the top', don't you think?"

Oren looked incredulously at the vampire. Standing at 6' 5" with a shoulder length mane of pitch-black hair, Malcolm looked into Oren's eyes. Oren glanced out the window. Trusting this vampire would be like signing my own death warrant' Oren thought. 

"If those white tigers aren't in my possession by the full moon, the entire vampire race can and will be eliminated."

Malcolm contemplated Oren's words.  'He is so obsessed with finding these damn white tigers! What's so special about them? Maybe I should start doing research on them. If they can wipe out our entire race I want to know why. He is completely out of his fucking mind if he thinks I'm just going to play puppet to his ass.' 

"Call a mandatory Council meeting. Just the other 11 Council members first, we'll hold a meeting with everyone else afterwards. They all must know what we are up against." Oren said steely, only sparing a glance at the other vampire. 

Malcolm gave Oren a parting nod and exited the room.

Addie finished up the tray and hopped out the bed. She went to the bathroom to empty her bladder then headed to the balcony. She looked out into the surrounding forest and saw a group of people in a clearing, standing in a circle. 

For some reason, that made her think of Ana.

 'Ana?'

'Yeah Addie?'

'Where in the hell are you?!?!'

'You know, just taking over the Alpha Female position of my mate's pack, involuntarily of course.'

'YOU'RE WHAT?!'

'Hold on.' 

Addie didn't wait. She willed herself to her sister side and came face to face with a russet brown wolf that looked severely pissed the hell off. Addie looked towards Ana.

"Go to Nic, my mate. I have to do this alone." Ana rumbled not sparing her a glance.

 'It's okay Addie. My tiger is in control, go to Nic'

Addie glanced around and noticed a tall built man waving her over. Addie walked towards him.

"Hi, you might not remember me because you passed out, but I'm Nic." He said holding out his hand.

"Wow, uh, hi. I'm Adina but everyone calls me Addie. What exactly is going on?"

Nic gave Addie the short and sweet version and faced the two women in the middle of the circle. 

Ana stood in a relaxed stance that gave off the impression that she was unprotected. Terry charged towards her and got thrown back. Ana smirked, Terry shot back up and tried to charge her but Ana willed her onto her back and held her in place. Ana walked to the wolf and placed her hand on its stomach.

"I could hurt you right now, but I'm not. Submit and you will live to see tomorrow." Ana said coolly.

Terry shifted back and bared her neck to Ana. The pack cheered. Nic walked towards his mate and pulled her into his arms for a kiss. Nic noticed movement in the corner of his eye but it was too late. Terry had shifted her hand and attempted to claw Ana's back. 

Addie noticing the malice in Terry's movements willed a dagger into her palm and let it sail through the air, right into Terry's neck, slicing the major artery in her neck. Addie stood stock still as the pack turned towards her. She looked at Ana and Nic and noticed her sister's mate squeezing the life out of her.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know what to do. I felt her intentions and knew I had to end her. She was going to keep trying to attack Ana." Addie said still staring at Terry's lifeless body.

"Addie, no one is mad at you. You did nothing wrong. Once the pack had seen what she was about to do they would have probably killed her anyway, who would feel safe in a pack where someone tried to attack another like that? You did the right thing." Ana said walking towards her sister and pulling her in for a hug.

 'I'm proud of you. Thanks for saving my life.' 

Addie looked into her sister's eyes and saw the unshed tears and the fear in their depths.

"Thank you for saving my mate." Nic said kissing her cheek.

"Okay none of that. Let's eat something, I'm starving!" Ana said hooking arms with them both and heading back towards the house. She tried to not let the jealousy creep into her mind but it did.  'Maybe it's because I haven't mated with him yet I'm on edge when other women are near; even if the other woman is my sister!' Ana thought turning up her nose. She glanced at Nic and saw lust and desire there. Her heart skipped a beat.

 'Man did it just get hot in here?'

Natalia looked at the couple she hasn't seen in 21 years. She felt so many emotions swell up inside of her but she stomped them back down. She stormed out the room without another glance and went to the yellow barn. She quickly chanted another dome protection spell and let all her emotions flow through her.

She stood in the center of the dome and made a harsh wind. Every time she thought about Joel and Marian the wind would get harsher, whipping her hair everywhere. She let all of her emotions rise to the top and a tornado formed. It spun out of control, reflecting how Natalia felt. 

Natalia fell to her knees and cried. She couldn't hold it in anymore. She couldn't pinpoint why she was crying but it felt good to just let it out. She dropped the dome and stayed where she was. She felt slim arms wrap around her.

"Why did you leave? Where were you?" Nat yelled.

"Don't you think we are as heartbroken as you are? We faked our death so we could protect the girls. When we tried to go to you to get them we were attacked. We aren't sure by whom, but it wasn't Oren. We knew then we couldn't go to you. I'm sorry Natalia." Marian said turning Natalia towards her and wiping tears off her cheeks.

"Nat, we wouldn't have left you in that predicament if it was up to us. We wanted to see our daughters grow; we were in as much pain as you were when we realized we wouldn't be able to see them again. We are so sorry Natalia, for everything." Joel said grabbing them both in a hug.

"It's okay you guys. I can't say I understand, but I'm fine."

"That's good Nat. So where are the girls?"

Nat appeared in the room filled with wolves in various stages of shifting. She turned around and spotted Ana, Addie, and a man sitting at a large table in the middle of the room. She walked past all the bewildered pack members and approached the table.

"What in the hell happened girls?"

"Nat!" yelled the girls. They snatched her up into a group hug.

"I was worried about you girls too. Now tell me what happened."

"Well this is my mate, Master Alpha Nicolai Alexander," Ana introduced to Nat.

"Holy hell, your mate is a Master Alpha? Why didn't you tell me that?"

"Well I didn't know the significance of a Master Alpha until I appeared in the middle of an Alphas meeting."

"You did? What was it like?"

"Very intimidating..."

"Okay, so what else?"

"Well I had to challenge a girl for Nic; actually it was about being the reigning female of the pack. She unfortunately tried to attack me after the fight. If Addie hadn't of been here, I'm not sure exactly what would have happened. I'm now the Madame Alpha of his pack, therefore, the Master Madame Alpha," Ana beamed proudly at Nic.

He smiled back just as bright.

"Well I don't think my news can top all that." Nat said looking between the girls.

"What news Nat?"

"Oh Nothing-" Nat said stopping abruptly. She glanced between Ana and Nic and felt the tension in the air shift.

The two eyes were locked in what could be perceived as eye fucking. Nic heard a faint howl in his mind, mirroring the faint yowl in Ana's.

The scent of Ana's arousal wafting into the air; the strong scent of fresh raspberries filling the air, making Nic's body stiffen while he sniff the air around him. Many pack members lifted their noses in the air and sniffed as well.

"Um Addie, I think we should move out the way." Nat said backing away.

"Why? What's going on?"

Ana's eyes bled into blue, reflecting the eyes of her tiger. Nic growled low in his throat, his eyes bleeding into gold and canines dropping from the top of his mouth. Ana didn't wait for a warning growl she took off right out the dining hall door and headed towards the front door. She didn't need to look back to know he was right behind her.

So are you going to do everything? Well if you are, can you go faster? I don't want to give in just yet.

Ana heard the responding purr from her tiger. She felt herself speeding across the grass and headed into the pack forest.

Nic's wolf reveled in the actual chase of their mate. When he saw her heading towards the forest his wolf growled triumphantly; knowing the forest like the back of his hand, err paw.

Ana sped up and hurriedly climbed up a few tree branches. She started to run along the branches. Nic stopped where Ana climbed the tree. He couldn't scent her anymore. His wolf whined in his mind.

Then Nic looked up into the trees; remembering the dream that he and Ana shared, he knew that she must have taken to the trees. He turned the other way remembering she tried to jump on his back.

Ana, feeling elated that he remembered the dreams, decided not to jump on his back but charge towards his turned back. She flew into his back and the tumbled on the forest floor.

Nic tried to pin her but Ana slipped out of his grasp and cupped his erection. Her smile faltered into a shocked expression.

He is fucking huge! How is that going to fit into me?

Nic groaned. He felt his wolf responding again and started grinding his hips into her hand. He moaned and grabbed her hands, placing them above her head. He licked her neck, starting a trail from her lobe to the space under her chin, and ending with a shallow bite to her neck. He kept licking and biting all over her neck, leaving hickeys and goose bumps all over.

Ana's legs fell open and he wasted no time placing himself in between them. His solid erection touching her engorged, slick pussy lips through her panty barrier under her skirt.

Ana froze in place, her virgin fears creeping in. Nic, noticing Ana's lack of participation stopped. He looked into her eyes.

"Ana are you okay?"

"Um, yeah, no. I, uh, I- I'm a virgin."

Nic's wolf growled happily.

She's a virgin! We'll be the only man she will ever know!

Alright, calm down. We have to go slow with her. If we don't we might lose her.

Nic's wolf whined. Nic leaned in and kissed her lips, playfully nibbling on her bottom lip.

"It's okay love. I'll go slowly." Nic said kissing her once more before lifting himself and her off the ground.

He slid his left arm down her back, and squeezed her ass. She moaned. His hands kept traveling down her legs then he scooped her up into his arms and headed towards the den. He kissed her along the way; not focusing on who was around them or speaking. The taste of Ana's lips being his only concern.

As Nic made his way towards the door he felt fear and pain lance through his body. What the fuck was that. He looked into Ana's eyes and saw she felt it too.

"I'm sorry my Alphas. But there are three Omegas missing and I believe them to be in trouble." A man Ana did not know said.

"Ana this is my Beta Jarrett. Go with him, he will keep you safe." Nic said placing Ana on her feet next to a dark haired man with the greyest eyes she has ever seen.

"This way Madame Alpha, I will take you to the safe room with the other women and children." Jarrett said.

Ana glanced between Alpha and Beta, "I'm not going anywhere. I can handle myself. Addie, Nat; three of my Omegas have been snatched. We have to get them back."

"Do you have any of their possessions? I can track them that way." Nat stated to the FINE AS HELL Beta male standing a step behind Nic.

Moments later three shirts were brought to Nat. She sniffed each shirt to memorize the scent. She handed them to the girls and let them get a whiff also. Nat joined hands with them.

"Okay girls. Visualize the scents. Open your minds and expand your reach to the pack lands." Ana and Nic tensed up, feeling their Omegas getting hurt again. Nic shifted into his hybrid form. All the betas in attendance shifted also. Ana's hair changed to the brightest red any of them have ever seen. She opened her eyes and they were a deep blue, reflecting the eyes of her pissed off tiger.

She didn't say a thing just transported all the shifted Betas, Nic, Addie, and Nat. They appeared in the middle of the forest. Ana turned to the East and saw her unconscious Omegas tied to trees covered in blood. Their faces were bruised and swollen. Ana cried as she touched each of them and willed them to the medical ward, apologizing for not protecting them. Nic noticed his mate's distress and he shifted into full wolf. He sniffed the air again and smelled three acidic scents.

The fuckers are still on my land! Nic wolf growled out angrily. He followed their scents back towards the pack den in a dead sprint. Ana followed a step behind with the Betas following her. Nat shifted into her hybrid form and sniffed the air. Getting an acidic like smell from the scents Nat shifted to full wolf and transported to the den.

Ana! They're vampires! Watch out. Don't let them get hold of you. If they bite you, you may die. Tell the others!

Ana relayed the message. She looked around the den, keeping an eye out for them. She saw a shimmer in the corner of her vision and turned in time to see a pale man try to attack one of the Beta males. Nic lunged for the vampire as Ana sent a silver dagger right into his chest. Nic landed square into the vampire's chest and ripped his throat out, spitting out the foul tasting flesh.

Meanwhile...

Addie sat in the middle of the forest repeating the protection spell Nat used the day before and made the dome big enough for all of the pack lands, trapping any remaining vampires inside the dome for them to find.

Addie stood up and was tackled from behind from a slim formed vampire. Addie willed herself away from the vampire and noticed it was a female. Addie just smiled menacingly.

"Well, hello there. Can I help you?"

"Yea die and everything will be fine. " The soft spoken vampire said.

Addie studied the vampire and realized she was very young and couldn't be no older than her an Ana. Addie's expression softened at that realization.

"What's your name?"

"Fuck you bitch!"

"Hi Ms. Bitch. How is your day going?" Addie said sarcastically.

"Let me out of here. I'll kill you." The small vampire said moving closer.

"You don't have to do that. But I am curious. Why do you want me to die? What have I done to you?"

"You have made my life a living hell ever since you were born."

"Excuse me? How old are you?"

"None of your damn business bitch!" She hissed back.

"Now the name calling is so unnecessary. My name is Addie, not bitch."

"Look bit-"Before the young vampire could finished Addie willed tape over her mouth and rope around her wrists.

"I tried to be pleasant. Obviously you can't handle that. So now I'm going to talk to you the Chicago way. Shut the fuck up! You come to my sister and brother lands and hurt them by fucking with their pack members. You are clearly fucked up in the head. Now I will remove the tape. If you so much as whisper the wrong thin-g I'm going to slap the shit out of you, all the shit." Addie said, her eyes bleeding into a golden yellow.

The vampire looked up into Addie's eyes and shook with fear. Never, in her 3 years of being a vampire has she ever been so terrified, of anything!

"Now what is your name?"

"Kerry."

"Why are you here Kerry?"

"We are here to kill you and your sister."

"Why?"

"So that the rainbow can come out and everyone can get gold from the leprechauns."

Addie willed her above the trees and let her drop.

"Let's try this again. Why are you trying to kill us?"

"I can't tell you that. If he find out he will kill all of us. Not just you and your sister."

"What can you tell me?"

"We were not here to kill you or hurt those people. We were here to send you a warning."

"What's the warning?"

"He will find you. No matter where you hide, who you mate, or how many people you fight. He will find you. And when he is through with you, he will kill you. Making you suffer the entire time."

"Oh. And who will be doing this exactly?"

Addie paced the bedroom she had been given. What the fuck! Why us? What the hell did we do to anyone? Why can't I just be normal? Addie fell to the floor and started to cry. Addie looked towards the door as someone tried to open it. She locked it. Trying to find some solace in this whirlwind life she has been introduced to. Addie unlocked the door as she willed herself away from the compound. She had to get away.

An Omega tried to get Addie for a meeting about the young vampire woman, but walked into an empty room. Where is she? She left the room to look around the compound.

Ana paced the Alphas' quarters. She went from crying to sadness to anger and back again, hair changing colors with the emotions. Sitting on one of the couches watching her go from panic to pissed off is her mate; trying to figure out what to say to comfort her. Every time he made a move to say something she gave him this look that screamed NOT NOW.

Not taking it anymore he stood up and stopped her.

"Ana. Look at me. Say something."

"This is not going to work. I can't stay here. With all that has happened I'm not helping the pack, I'm destroying it. I just walked into this world thinking I could handle this because my Aunt Nat could, but I can't."

"What? Ana you can't leave, I need you."

"I'm sorry Nic but I have to."

"No! Dammit Ana, we haven't even tried this out, to get to know this."

"I DON'T EVEN KNOW MYSELF! And now you want me to learn this? I know we are supposed to be mates but I can't deal with that, not now. It's too much too fast. I'm sorry Nic but I have to go."

"MY ALPHAS! MY ALPHAS!" The Omega yelled, knocking frantically on the door. Nic opened the door.

"Is everything alright Elaine?"

"My Alphas, I'm sorry, but Miss Addie is gone. I searched all over the compound, and even had some others check the woods. She isn't here." Elaine said sadly.

"I know where she is. Unfortunately Nic, I really do have to go, Take care." Ana willed herself away.

She didn't go far, she willed herself in front of the medical center. She walked in and asked where the injured females were. One of the nurses led her to the curtains that contained the females.

"Can I be alone?" The nurse bowed and walked away. Ana walked up to the first one and started sobbing. She glazed over the Omega's whole body and noted all her apparent injuries. Ana didn't even want to look at what the chart said.

She walked up to the bed and held the Omega's hand.

"I am so sorry for causing this to happen. It's completely my fault and it should have never happened." Ana ended her sentence with a simple squeeze of the hand and a kiss on the forehead.

She repeated the action on the others but on the last one, the female awakened; Ana jumped back.

"Madame Alpha, it's alright. You don't have to apologize."

"Yes I do, this would have never happened if I was not here."

"Be that as it may, we would do it again."

"You all were strong, being in that position. I still feel bad for it happening and I'm going to go."

"You're leaving? You can't leave, what about the Alpha?"

"Alpha Nic will be better without me."

"No he won't, you are his true mate, and there is no one else for him."

"I'm still going to go, again I'm sorry." Ana said willing herself away again.

"No Madame Alpha, please no! Come back!"

Ana appeared in the house she grew up in. She went to her room and fell on the bed. She wanted to cry, but she was so exhausted the tears wouldn't even come. She pulled the blanket over her head and went into a fitful sleep.

In another part of the house...

Addie, not being able to sleep, baked. She baked cookies, cupcakes, pies, and cakes; trying to keep busy so her mind won't dwell on her problems. She knew Ana was here; she didn't bother her because she didn't feel like talking right now either. She took the final red velvet cakes out of the oven and set them on a cooling rack. She went into the living room and cut on her favorite childhood movie, Fantasia. Maybe the sorcerer's apprentice can clean up my cluttered head. Addie dosed off before it finished.

Next Day...

Ana pulled her catastrophe of hair into a high bun and changed into yoga pants and a cami. She only bothered with brushing her teeth then walked downstairs to see her sister passed out on the couch with a long string of drool rolling down her hand and flour on her face. Ana shook her head at the sight.

She walked into the kitchen and froze. Damn Addie must be frustrated; she damn near baked a whole bakery in here. Ana counted how many of everything it was and made a list of frosting and ice cream she should get from the store. She left Addie a note and grabbed Nat car keys and pulled on boots, pea coat, and a knit winter hat with a Chicago Bulls logo on it. She headed to the nearest Wal-Mart.

When she came back Addie was sprawled across the couch. Ana went back into the kitchen to put the ice cream she brought into the fridge. She grabbed the closest batch of cupcakes and started to put icing on them. She was on the final one when she heard Addie start to rise from the dead.

She finished icing the cupcake in her hand and took it into the living room. She placed the iced top on Addie's lips.

What the hell? Addie thought jumping back. She licked her lips and gave Ana the middle finger.

"So why did you leave?" Ana asked placing the cupcake into Addie's hand.

"It was too much, I felt trapped."

"Same here, only I think it was worse because I gained a pack and a mate in like two days. We haven't even mated yet and when we first officially had an actual conversation it hinted towards children! I truly am terrified."

"Oh yea, badass Anastasia Benson is afraid."

"Hey I never said I was badass, I'm just very skilled in the ways of badass-ness. And it's Barren. We might as well use our actual names. Man it's going to be a fat bitch getting our IDs and licenses changed."

"We didn't even know them Ana. How can we just use the last name of people we don't know?"

"They're our parents Addie; we had that last name to protect us. But what are they protecting now? Whoever is after us knows who we are now. They know what we are and we barely know anything about that."

'Yeah well you use that name, I can't."

"Whatever Adina."

Breaking the tension that quickly consumed the room Addie kicked her feet up on a coffee table and clasped her hands behind her head Addie remarked, "Alright wench, go ice them cakes. I got a movie to watch."

"Oh no, don't you even think about it. You baked a whole bakery in there and you expect me to decorate all that?"

"I did the hard work!"

"No."

"I bake, you ice; remember Ana?"

"Hell no, what's that?"

"Oh, really? So you don't remember starting a fire in the kitchen? When you forgot about the cupcakes in the oven?"

"I vaguely remember something along those lines."

"Ana, we had to get the entire kitchen remodeled plus get a new stove!"

"Otay I do, but you decided to make the whole city of Chicago dessert! I can't do all that; my hands will probably fall off before I'm even halfway done!"

"I'll help, then you big baby."

"Fuck you."

"You know if I keep letting you treat me like this, people are going to think you're older than me."

"Oh wow, two minutes older who gives a rat's ass?" Ana said walking into the kitchen.

"It's two minutes and fifty- three seconds." Addie said following her.

"Yippee." Ana replied grabbing two layers of cakes of the counter.

After spending the whole morning decorating cakes, both girls decided they would donate the extra desserts to a food shelter.

Taking a break, they each grabbed a pint of their favorite ice cream and started the movie over.

"THEY'RE WHAT?!?!" Echoed loudly through the hallways.

"The girls are gone. They left." The Beta male said.

"Alright, alright; I'm sorry. Thank you."

Nat got ready to will herself away when she was stopped by a male voice.

"Wait!"

"Can I help you?"

"Can I know your name?" Jarrett asked her.

"It's Natalia, Jarrett." She said with a smile, and then she was gone.

After delivering and serving the desserts to the needy, the girls grabbed a hot chocolate and walked around Millennium Park.

"So, how does it feel to be practically married in your third year of college?" Addie asked after a sip of chocolaty goodness.

"That's not funny. But truthfully, it's weird. We haven't really talked. We barely know each other, but every fiber of my being and my tiger's is telling me he's the one."

"Uh... I guess I should tell you before our birthday/Full Moon. I'm not a white tiger like you."

"What the fuck do you mean you're not a white tiger?"

"Well remember when I fainted in the Alpha's meeting? Well, my wolf made an appearance in my dream. I was really scared at first but it or she, spoke to me. Well more like thought to me."

"How? Everyone keeps saying we're twin tigers. Does that mean we aren't as powerful as everyone thinks? Man, are they going to be pissed when they find out."

"That's something we can ask Nat about later. We have to go back sooner or later Ana. You can't run away from your mate, and we both can't run away from our lives. As hectic as they are becoming."

"You know, I really hate when you become the great and mystical being on me Addie."

"Shut up heifer."

Both girls looked at each other and bussed into a fit of loud laughter.

Nat appeared at her parent's home. She rushed into the house looking for her sister. Marian was sitting at the tea table in the kitchen; she looked up as Nat stormed in.

"We have a serious problem. You have to reveal yourselves earlier than you wanted.

"What's wrong Natalia?" Marian asked worriedly.

"I'm worried they are rejecting their tigers. I can feel bits of terror every so often but they disappeared today. Both of them, they just vanished from the compound. They haven't even talked to me."

"They could go rogue, Nat they could kill people! Wait, did you say compound?"

Ignoring her sister's question she continued, "Marie, what makes it worse is I can't help them with their powers or shifting because I'm not a white tiger. I'm not sure what they are capable of."

"Well their powers are going to be unlocked, all of them. And they are powerful, we gave them ours. I'm not even sure which elements they will be able to manipulate. This is going from bad to worse."

"You have to reveal yourselves! Those girls are scared as hell. Now I know a place that may be safe for you and the girls to go. You can meet, practice and train there. You can also meet the Master Alpha of North America, who just so happens to be Ana's mate."

"MATE!" Joel exclaimed dropping the fork in his hand.

"Yep, he's pretty nice; I guess. We only met for a few minutes. But his compound and den is huge. He has easily two to three hundred pack members."

"Nat, we can't reveal ourselves around that me people, they can get hurt, or worse, killed." Joel said.

"Oh yes you can, and I know how."

Author's Note: 3 in one month?? Who would have thought...LOL seriously I'm really excited for this story. I'm determined to finish this story. Don't worry Complications lovers; I'm going to finish that one as well. Although I may take it down and rewrite it completely. To me the story is being set up very cliché-ish and I don't want it to be that way. I want to keep the storyline sort of, but with tweaks here and there. I know my chapters for Double T have been short but I really don't be thinking they are short when in the process of writing the story. Sorry if this one is short as well, I really don't try to do that. Love the critiques and comments. Let me know how you feel. A non-trained white tiger at that; the slap didn't scare her; the power behind the slap is what scares her. Anyone who isn't scared to slap a vampire obviously isn't someone you should fuck with. Especially if that person is a white tiger, which in my Were world, is stronger than the average were. Also, Kerry is an infant she should be scared regardless. I said it in my profile but not everyone goes there...

Addie placed the scrambled eggs on two plates that already had toast, bacon, and pancakes on it. Ana walked into the dining room with four cups and pitchers of milk and apple juice, placing two of the cups in front of Addie's place settings. Ana went back into the fridge to grab a bowl of fruit salad and yogurt. Once the girls sat down to eat, Addie poured juice and milk into their glasses.

"Happy birthday Addie," Ana said lifting her juice glass.

"Happy birthday Ana," Addie said tapping her twin's glass.

"Oh, this was on the TV this morning." Ana said passing Addie a note.

Addie chuckled. "Only Nat can be angry and then happy in 2 seconds. I think she may have a mental problem."

"Nah, she just cares. After this, I'm going to start packing."

"You're going?"

"Yeah... Addie I don't want to be in this position but I am; we are. I feel like a piece of me is missing and I know you feel it too. We have no clue what is going to happen tonight. We need to at least be somewhere where it is safe and at least they can talk us through it."

"I'm scared Ana. How can you just jump into this like this?"

"Well, I have a mate. I'm learning, but I think I can adapt better with him there; even if we don't know each other like that. I wish you could find a mate to feel what I feel. I feel like I can conquer anything with just a thought of him."

"You're getting sloppy with affection, eww. I don't want a mate, at all. So maybe I don't have one."

"Everyone has a mate Addie, even if they don't want one." Ana said clearing her dishes and heading upstairs to her room.

Yesterday...

"Wait a minute." Nic said glancing between the three people standing in his study.

"You want to throw Ana and Addie a birthday party on my pack lands? Before I reject because of how vulnerable my pack will be, why?"

"Well, Ana is your mate," Marian said as Joel growled unhappily. "She will need guidance through certain things like her tiger responding to your wolf with the mating pull. Even though we have experienced it, it is different for different people. Also the girls are in danger. There are very dangerous people after them and the safest place as of now is your pack lands."

"I know all that is true but there is definitely something else pushing this, so what is it?"

"We are the girls' birth parents. They do not know we are alive because it has been too dangerous for us to reveal ourselves. We want to do so at the party i.e. on your lands because it will be tough for them to come to grips with it." Joel said solemnly, looking at the floor.

"You have my permission for this party, but on a few conditions."

"Name them." Marian said excitedly intrigued.

"First, you reveal yourselves after the party; I don't want you ruining whatever good time they are having."

"Okay..." Joel said tightly. Taking orders is something his wolf is not used too.

"Next, I want to be there for everything; the reveal, the training, and the battle; all of it."

"I definitely have no problem with that." Marian said swooning with respect for her daughter's future mate.

"Finally, no matter what happens, I want you both to be there for me and Ana's Mating Ceremony." Nic said with a smile.

"Hell yeah we would be here for that. I don't want to miss it!" Marian exclaimed jumping up hugging Nic tightly.

"Okay so everything is settled. Unfortunately for you Nat, you have to tell Jarrett the news." Nic said smugly.

"What? Why do I have to do that?"

"Well Jarrett is head of pack security so you need to confer with him about the security formations and shifts. You both also have to talk with the kitchens for the food and decorations for the party."

"Well fuck me!" Nat yelled.

"I'll be glad to." Jarrett's deep voice rumbled behind her from the door. If Nat had lighter, fairer skin it would have turned a bright red from embarrassment.

"Oh, bite me!" Nat replied angrily.

"Don't tempt me." Jarrett said smiling devilishly.

Nat, face burning with embarrassment, looked away giving her silent surrender.

"So what the bloody hell do I have to do?" Jarrett asked looking around the study.

"Talk to Nat, I have to get my rooms and a guest room prepared before the party." Nic said.

"What party?" Jarrett replied puzzled.

"I'll fill you in but first I have to let the girls know, they have sulked long enough." Nat said sitting in Nic's chair; grabbing a notepad and a pen to write the girls a note:

Pack your stuff and bring your asses back to this compound or so help me I will kick both your asses when I get a hold of you!

Ana thought about the note Nat left in the middle of the TV screen. An appropriate place to put it, we barely do anything else but eat and sleep aside from watching TV.

Ana looked at the open suitcase on her bed then the other ones next to the bed. What am I forgetting? I feel like I'm forgetting something?

Your toothbrush, Ana jumped.

Shit, I didn't know I opened a connection to you Addie

You didn't, it seems we will always have an open connection to each other not a strong one all the time but it's definitely there

I tried to ignore it; at least it comes in handy. I definitely forgot all my bathroom stuff

Ana smiled and doubled checked all her luggage. She looked at the clothes she laid out and smiled. She got undressed and pulled on a lavender lace thong with a matching 46 DD balconette bra, some tight dark wash skinny jeans that hugged all her generous assets, a white halter top that showed her pierced navel, and some nude pumps. Ana went into the bathroom to do her makeup and hair. Adding some MAC bronze eye shadow lightly, eye liner, and mascara to make her eyes really pop; and nude lip glass to give her lips I nice succulent shine to it. She styled her hair in a Farah Fawcett style and placed her irons in her suit case with her makeup bag then proceeded to take her bags downstairs.

Only on the third bag, placing it in the living room did Addie's bags appeared next to hers.

"You forgot didn't you?" Addie asked seeing her twisted up face.

"Shut the hell up!" Ana replied willing the rest of her bags down. She looked towards Nat office then willed the jade chest and a large photo album into her hand.

Ana looked towards Addie, "You ready?"

"Yeah, let's go."

Addie willed them in front of the Dining Hall entrance.

Somewhere else at that exact moment...

"It's almost time everyone. Soon we will hold the keys to total vengeance against the weak useless human race and our biggest enemies the Weres. "

The room erupted into cheers and applause.

"Soon, my people, the white tigers will obtain their full abilities and strength. They will be easy to capture with their lack of training and we should be fully in control of the world by next year." Oren said smiling.

Me! I will be ruling this world! After all these years of hard work it will finally pay off! Killing Thorton was a minor setback but one I don't regret for I have someone better and stronger to take his place not stronger than me but stronger than that worthless weakling. Oren thought looking towards Malcolm standing equally to the left of him.

"Enjoy this last meal in hiding comrades! For in a few mere hours we will no longer be a myth, a scary camp story, or a child's nightmare. No, tonight we will be very real, very alive, and clearly visible! Tonight we will be feared!" Oren said with finality and a raise of his glass filled with a sticky red substance.

"To our new power," Oren shouted.

"The power is ours!" The room answered back.

Back at the compound...

Two Omegas came with a trolley and collected the girls' luggage to take to their rooms. They pointed towards the dining hall then disappeared into another room. The girls walked in the room and were rendered shocked listening to the deafening 'surprise' that was yelled out. The dining hall was filled with pack members. There was a buffet of food along the left wall and even more food was being brought out. There was a DJ set up on the right wall with fog machines and strobe lights flashing all around the room. The tables have been cleared some and moved away from the middle of the floor where a dance floor had been placed, changing colors like the flashing lights.

Everyone was there; men, women, children, even pregnant females, and the injured Omegas. They weren't on the floor dancing but seemed to be having a good time nonetheless.

Two large hands covered Ana's eyes and she was pulled into a broad defined chest.

"Guess who." His deep voice rumbled sending delicious shivers down Ana's spine. She sniffed the air and caught Nic's scent.

"Paul Walker?" Ana guessed; Nic growled disapprovingly.

"I know you can scent me Ana, say my name."

"Nikolas..." Ana whispered sexily, teasing Nic. He groaned.

"Don't tempt me Anastasia or I will forget about the party and take you upstairs and make you mine." Nic whispered directly into her ear, licking and nibbling on her earlobe.

Ana unconsciously rubbed her thighs together.

"Now, be a good girl and greet your guest, Addie is already ahead of you." Nic said grasping her hand and leading her deeper into the throngs of people walking and dancing about. Ana noticed a small girl walking around aimlessly. She paused to greet the small girl with light auburn pigtails and big honey doe eyes.

"Hi, my name is Ana, what's yours?"

"Sasha, "the cherubic little girl replied.

"You want to be my friend Sasha?" Ana asked, Sasha smiled a huge dimpled smile brightly and shook her head vigorously.

"Okay, so as a friend, let's find your mom, she has to approve of our friendship."

"Okay, she is over with the other mothers." Sasha struggled to say and pointed to the corner of the room where the expecting mothers and small children were.

"What's your mom name?" Ana asked placing Sasha on her hip.

"Sable," She recited from memory.

Ana walked over to the corner and noticed a frantic looking mother looking around.

"I'm looking for Sable?" Ana inquired, the mother looked towards her.

"Sasha! Oh thank goodness you found her Madame Alpha I was worried. I'll take her off your hands." Sable said reaching forward.

"It's no problem, I asked Sasha to become my friend and I just wanted to make sure it was alright." Ana stated placing the child on the ground next to the chair Sable was in.

"Of course it's okay!"

"Alright, I'll look for you later Sasha!" Ana waved goodbye and walked back to Nic who waited patiently by the dance floor.

"That was just precious." Nic said as he led her to the back of the room.

Ana followed Nic and spotted Nat, Jarrett and the hurt Omegas sitting in a group on some arranged couches and chairs. Addie walked up at the same time.

"God, I have gotten like six invites to have sex. What is with that?"

"Wolves are very open with sex; as long as the wolf is not mated they can have sex with whoever they like." Jarrett said smirking then glancing to the side at Nat, Ana smirked. The group ate danced and conversed.

Ana learned the names of the injured Omegas. The first one she had apologized to was Megan; the second was Lily, and the last Amanda. They would not let her do anything aside from using the bathroom; even then, they went with her.

"They are saying thank you the only way they know how. Just saying it doesn't seem like enough for them." Nat said to Ana.

"Oh, I get it. Like you save me, I save you."

"Exactly; do you feel it?"

"Anxious, like something is about to happen, yes."

"That is how it's supposed to feel. This is a full moon. Your pull to shift is much stronger because of it. But don't get confused, you can shift whenever." Nat looked around.

"Everyone is antsy and anxious to shift."

"How is this supposed to go?"

"I'm not sure really. I was there when your mom did it but she wasn't as powerful." Nat frowned.

Stop frowning damn it! Tell her that when the time comes she will know. It will feel like her tiger is scratching to get out.

Nat repeated it and Ana looked skeptical.

"Scratch at me? What the hell?"

Tell her do not panic. Just relax and let her come forwards. Once she has, she should be on all four paws

"How the hell do you know this?"

"A friend gave me some help." Nat said quickly.

The party ended with a gigantic cake being brought out. The girls blew out the candles and let the Omegas cut the cake. Serving the children first then the adults last. Nic watched Ana lick whipped cream from her bottom lip. He groaned torturously. Ana giggled, fully aware of what she was doing to Nic. She wasn't sure why she was doing it but she couldn't help but to enjoy it.

Nic walked up to Ana and grabbed her waist. "You are so going to pay for that. But for now, it's time." He stated looking towards Nat then walking Ana outside to the forest. Addie, after beating the unmated wolves, men and women alike, off with a stick; figuratively, she joined Ana at the forest line.

Ana relayed what Nat said to her and Addie nodded.

"Wait Nat I didn't tell you, I'm not-"but she couldn't finish because a scratching started in her head.

Addie relaxed as Nat said and felt her body lift off the ground. She looked towards her twin and saw that she was experiencing it too. All of a sudden, the girls were incased in a blinding blue light. Their skin tingled and burned. Feelings of millions of heated needles were punching into their skin. Before the girls experienced any real pain it all stopped. There was a collection of gasps surrounding them. Nat was hysterical. Addie was not a white tiger. She wasn't any type of feline. She was a wolf, a brown sleek, larger than the normal were, wolf; with blue eyes.

Nat quickly turned her head towards Ana and was relieved. She was a white tiger. A huge one at that! Her tail curved around her legs and flicked out at some people who were too close. Ana was on edge.

Nic noticing his mate distress kneeled by her. He rubbed her fur and scratched her ears, Ana purred. But Nat was still scared for Addie.

Addie?

Yea Nat

You're not a tiger

I know; I was going to tell you before I shifted. I found out the day at the park. She came to me when I fainted

Nat searched the crowd frantically, looking for her sister.

Damn it Marian we have a problem!

What's wrong?

Addie isn't a white tiger

What?

She isn't a white tiger. How is that fucking possible?

I don't fucking know! Girls from my line are supposed to be white tigers, how weird. I'll get back to you on that. Hurry up and do the run so I can meet my daughter's again!

Alright, we're about to head off in a few. You can practically taste the power in the air

We feel it in here, be careful Nat. If the girls feel threatened they could cause a lot of damage without even trying

I'll pay close attention to it. I'll make Nic watch them too

Addie could feel the power surging through her. She looked towards her sister who shook her head in agreement. She noticed movement from her left and saw Nic strip and shift into his wolf. If wolves could blush!

Hey keep your eyes to yourself!

I'm sorry, just admiring...

Ana growled and Nat stood in between them.

"Let's go for your first run girls." Nat said then shifted into her wolf.

Nic butted Ana's shoulder with his head. He nipped at her nose then took off; Ana chased after him with everyone else following suit.

"Sir, the tigers have been located. There was a surge of power just a few minutes ago on the Alexander Pack territory. "The youngling said, relaying the information he was given.

The smile that crossed the superior vampire's face chilled his already cold skin to the bone. He bowed then walked swiftly out of the room.

"Get all the capable vampires you can find, we need to prepare for a rescue mission."
