If she could reach the town she would be in the clear. She pushed herself harder, going until she saw black dots swarm around her vision. She was just a few yards from it when Miles, in wolf form, tackled her and wrapped his massive jaws around the back of her neck. Devyn was trying not to struggle against the massive wolf. She knew he wouldn't even hesitate to kill her. In an instant, Miles was human again, and was hauling Devyn up from the forest floor. She couldn't catch her breath. She was sweating profusely and it only seemed to turn Miles on. He didn't understand until he took a deep breath of the girl's scent. "Try to run again and I'll kill you." Miles bit out as he wrapped an arm semi-tightly around her neck and started back toward the compound. "Yeah, because I can get away from you at this point," Devyn mumbled in reply and let him lead her reluctantly. It took at least an hour to get back to the compound. By the time they were there it was already midnight. Surely Devyn's driver had notified Stew about Devyn's slipup. Miles didn't let Devyn go until he was shoving her into a cell in the basement of his own mansion. Devyn's temper flared and she glared at Miles as he locked the cell and turned his back to her to go back up the stairs they'd come down. Devyn felt around in her pockets for her cell phone and cursed when she realized it must have fallen out when she'd been busy trying to get away from Miles. Through everything she hadn't felt any fear. She'd only felt an adrenaline rush and the need to get away. She'd pushed her limits like she always did and her body was letting her know that through every ache she felt. Devyn wasn't sure how long she sat on the floor with her legs pulled to her chest, but when the cell was opened and Miles appeared, Devyn ignored him. She hadn't slept at all, but she'd been zoning out and realized there was no way she was going to be able to stand. When she tried to stretch her limbs out earlier they'd all been so stiff she could barely move them without tears filling her eyes. "Are you ready to listen, or are we going to play the cat and mouse game some more?" Devyn ignored Miles' question and continued to look straight at his shins. Miles ground his teeth against wanting to snap at the girl. Instead he moved forward quickly, pulled her to a standing position roughly, and dragged her out of the cell. He heard a yelp escape her mouth as he handled her roughly. When he hauled her up onto his shoulder and carried her up the stairs like a sack of potatoes, it only increased the pain in her legs and abdomen more. "Please put me down. I won't run. I swear." Devyn had tears in her eyes and was clinging to the man's suit jacket as she begged him to put her down. Miles put her down on what looked to be like a hospital bed. A nurse came bustling over and it freaked Devyn out a little. Her muscles were screaming agony at her and when she went to rub her legs the nurse slapped her hand away. Devyn looked up at Miles confused and noticed he was staring at her intently. "The Academy sent you. I know that much. I just don't know why. Why were you sent on a mission to kill me? Most of all why would Stew even think of sending you?" Miles asked crossing his arms over his broad chest as he studied her. "I don't know. I was just given the assignment, okay? I didn't read the file. Well, I did. I just didn't read past your name. I didn't read the reason why. I don't even know what's going on," Devyn replied as the nurse motioned for Devyn to take her shirts off. Devyn took her shirts off and Miles thought he was going to lose it right there. Her shirts were covering a nicely toned body. He could tell she spent a lot of time training. She was fit and he tended to like that in a girl. Not only that but she wasn't lying to him. He could tell by her body language. She'd seemed to just resign to defeat. "What do you mean by me? What the fuck is wrong with me? If you hadn't taken advantage of my size, I could have killed you." Devyn said in an angry voice. "Trust me, little girl. You could never do more than scuff me up a little," Miles wasn't talking about her strength, though. He knew she could have killed him last night if she had really been that determined. She'd proved that much. He was talking about her reaction toward him. Her conscious wouldn't have let her kill him. Devyn ignored him as the nurse poked and prodded. She needed stitches in her knee and some pain meds. Otherwise, she was fine. She could barely walk, but that apparently wasn't that big of a deal. When they were done at the nurse Miles allowed Devyn to take a bath, gave her a change of clothes, and then returned her back to the cell. The Silent Killer Ch. 03 Devyn had spent at least three days in the cell. People had brought her food and drink, and she'd been allowed to use the bathroom four times a day. Her muscles were still killing her. She hadn't slept any more than 4-5 hours a day since being put in the cell. She was sick and tired of being cooped up. She sat on the small cot in the cell with her knees brought to her chest. "You haven't been eating the food my packs been bringing to you." Miles' voice was full of annoyance as he spoke. "And?" Devyn's voice was scratchy, and, for the first time, she realized she was parched. Miles opened the cell and waited for Devyn to get up from the cot. When she didn't move, he grabbed her upper arm in a tight grasp and hauled her up from the cot himself. Devyn let out a squeak of surprise and cursed at the pain that shot through her body. "Let go of me!" Devyn shrieked as Miles hauled her up the stairs and into his office. "Sit there and be quiet!" Miles shouted at Devyn as he shoved her down into a chair in front of his desk. "Your boss has been contacted. After the last three days of investigating, I'm off the hook. You, however, my dear, aren't. You aren't leaving this property for a while." Miles sat down in the chair behind his desk and glared across at Devyn. Devyn glared back at him and ran her fingers through her limp, oily hair. She crossed her arms over her chest, and sank down in the seat. To her surprise, she wasn't all that upset about having to stay. She tried to reason with herself about what might happen, but it didn't matter. "You'll be staying in my room. No arguments. No running. No rule-breaking. The first time I catch you with even a hair out of fucking line, Devyn, I'll lock you back up down in the holding cell." Miles' voice put every hair on Devyn's body at attention. "I just..." Devyn sighed as her voice broke. She could barely speak because of how hoarse her throat was. "I just want a shower and a bed." Miles picked up his phone and pressed a button. "Jeff, come get her and take her up to my room, please." He hung up and watched Devyn for a minute. A few minutes later a big man, though not as big as Miles, came into the room and grabbed Devyn's upper arm drawing yet another squeak from her. "Not so rough, Jeffrey. Take her up to my rooms and keep guards outside the door as well as down below my window. Guards should be in position at all times when I'm not up there, and at least one guard at both locations when I am there. She's requested a shower. Make sure she gets a change of clothes." Miles and Jeffrey exchanged a nod and Miles watched as Devyn was lead out of his office. Miles didn't really want to let the girl out of his sight. As he watched her go, he felt his emotions go haywire. He decided to finish up the work he'd started so he could get back up to his room. He didn't like that he had to keep guards standing at the window and door of his room. It was discouraging. Eventually she'd get it. She'd have to. She'd be with him for the rest of her life. The Silent Killer Ch. 04 Chapter 4 Here you go! I'm sorry! Life has been so hectic, and my editor has actually been on me about writing more. I've had three and four done for quite some time now and have just been neglecting submitting, because (honestly) I'm afraid of what everyone thinks. Also, why I decided to write for Lit? Well, I'll never know because I'm finding it increasingly difficult to write sex scenes...Anyway, let me know what you think even if you hate it. Devyn rolled over in her sleep and her front immediately came into contact with something hard and warm. Devyn opened her eyes slowly. She looked up at a sleeping Miles before quietly sitting up and getting out of bed. Devyn climbed back into bed five minutes later. It was too hot in the room and she lay in bed without the covers for a long time just thinking. She was oblivious to the fact Miles was watching her in the dark. "What's wrong, love?" Devyn snapped out of her trance and looked at Miles. She couldn't see much in the dark except the glimmer of his open eyes. "It's too hot," Devyn replied in a low voice as she sat up and rubbed her sleepy eyes. "I'll be back." Miles got out of bed and Devyn saw he was still wearing his jeans. Devyn felt the room instantly cool and relaxed back into the pillows. Miles was laying back down just as she was dozing off. Miles was surprised. The room had cooled down considerably in the amount of time he'd been gone. He'd left to turn on the air conditioning in this one room. It had to be accessed from the main circuit board in the security room which was in the basement. "Better?" Devyn nodded in reply. Miles lay in bed and pulled the covers back over them. Devyn almost pulled back when she realized she was nuzzling into Miles' neck. Instead, she surprised both herself and Miles when she decided to stay where she was and wrap an arm around him. It had gotten chilly instantly after the air had been turned on and the warmth radiating from his body made Devyn relish in the feeling and smell of Miles. As Miles started to rub her back in slow circles, Devyn closed her eyes but couldn't sleep and soon was sitting back up. She pulled her fingers through her hair and got out of bed again. Miles watched her pace a few times before she stopped, arms crossed over her chest, and looked at him. She had goosebumps but it wasn't from being cold. "What?" Miles asked as he sat up. "I don't know." Devyn shrugged and plopped down onto the edge of the bed. Devyn felt Miles wrap an arm around her arm and she jumped. She hadn't been expecting the contact. She didn't expect him to pull her to him, but he did. She shivered a little and nuzzled into his body heat. "I just got a really weird feeling all the sudden." Devyn said in an almost inaudible voice. Devyn and Miles listened carefully in the dark and realized something wasn't right. Every hair on Miles' body was standing up now, too. Miles sat up quickly in bed and listened. There was nothing that sounded off, but there was a smell in the air he couldn't place. "Stay here, Devyn." Miles said as he pulled his jeans on. "Miles, what—" "I mean it, Devyn. Stay put. I'll send in Jeff or another beta if it isn't safe for you to be up here alone." Miles explained. He leaned over the bed quickly and pecked her lips before leaving the room. Devyn slammed her fists into the bed in a frustrated manner before she got out of bed and went into the closet. She needed pants and a shirt. She found a pair of spandex boyshorts, sports bra, jeans, and a t-shirt. She was pulling the t-shirt on when an arm grabbed her around the middle. Devyn let out a startled cry before snapping into action. She brought her elbow up then down on the person's stomach effectively knocking the wind out of them. Devyn didn't take time to see who her assailant was before taking off out of the closet and the bedroom. She wasn't going to stick around to become someone's next meal. Devyn didn't get very far, though. Outside the door another vampire was waiting for her to flee. He grabbed her by the arm just as she was running past him, and slammed her against the wall hard. The wind was knocked from Devyns lungs, and she sputtered and coughed as she slid down the wall to the floor. The vampire Devyn had some face-to-face with in the bedroom grabbed her hair and hauled her up. Devyn whimpered and grabbed the man around the wrist as he continued to haul her by her hair back into the bedroom. Without a second thought, the vampire grabbed her around the neck, lifted her up, and tossed her onto the bed. Devyn scooted away from him until she reached the head of the bed. "Stay away from me!" Devyn's voice was venomous. She couldn't help buy thing Miles had promised to send Jeff if there were any troubles. Jeff was nowhere in sight. Devyn rolled her eyes at herself. She knew how to fight these things. She knew how to do this. Why was she so hesitant? She couldn't believe that being with Miles for a little over a week would make her go this soft this fast. She didn't have any weapons, though. Devyn was frustrated with herself. She'd never needed weapons before. She'd always had enough brains to go without weapons. She had to think was all. The taller man of the two grabbed one of Devyn's ankles and yanked her down the bed. He began to roughly undo her jeans, and just as he was about to sink his hand down her jeans and undergarments, Devyn kicked him with full force sending him across the room and into a shelf of heavy books. This wouldn't keep him down for long, but it might help her scheme a little more. Devyn grabbed the gun she knew for a fact Miles kept in the bedside table, and aimed it. She shot once watching as the bullet lodged itself in the still-standing vamp. She aimed and shot at the other's head. She'd never used a regular gun to fight a vampire, but it didn't look to be doing much besides pissing them off more. Devyn did the next thing she knew she shouldn't have. She got up from the bed and ran. She ran out of the mansion and headed for the trees. She didn't look back, and she didn't stop. She could feel the jeans she'd neglected to button slipping past her hips slightly as she ran. This wasn't turning out to be a great night. This was turning out to be more trouble than anyone ever imagined. Devyn had done nothing but bring trouble to the compound since she'd arrived. She hated thinking that, but part of her knew it was true. She'd been difficult and antagonizing with Miles to begin with. Now his pack was under attack, and Devyn had no doubts it was because of her. She kept running till she reached a stream which she stopped at the edge of. She couldn't hear anything. She crossed the stream and climbed one of the trees with the lower branches, trying to conceal herself better. Then, she perched on a branch and waited, knowing just how much trouble she'd probably be in once Miles found her. The Silent Killer Ch. 05 The Silent Killer Ch. 05 "You aren't listening. The whole thing could have been prevented last night. All of it. Had I just realized what was going on, the fight and the intrusion could have been prevented in some way. I had to have been preventable. I can't understand why my dreams are only showing me partials. Isn't it more heard of to have full visions?" Devyn's outburst was sudden and a little scary as Miles saw the brown of Devyn's eyes swirl to a light green, then back just as fast as it had happened. "Devyn! Calm down! I'll be back in a couple of hours. Please stay up here okay? I'm asking you to do this for me while I try to get some answers. I'm going to try and get some answers for your questions, okay?" Miles waited for her nod before he stood up completely to leave the room. The Silent Killer Ch. 06 Here's six! I hope you guys enjoy! I've been getting suggestions from a reader/writer from this site and I've been taking them into huge consideration. I'd like to thank that person, although I'm not sure they want me to mention their name. So, thank you! I've been doing a lot of the other editing on my own. Eventually, when this story is all done, I'll go back through one more time and edit it. I'll repost it then all completely edited! Thank you for reading and your suggestions and comments are always read and considered!--WIP * Miles stared at the sheets of paper in his hand. This wasn't what Miles had been expecting at all. He sat at his desk silently with the phone still in his hand. Miles could feel his heart beating so wildly in his chest he was sure it would explode any minute. How was this right? How was his mate a part of one of the biggest prides to ever come into existence. It was no longer in existence as most members of the pride had branched off into their own prides years before Devyn was even born. However, this pride had been so big it had ruled over much of the state of New York at one point. This was more than a big deal. This was a huge mess. Devyn's mother had been a direct descendant, as her father had been a direct descendant to one of the most prominent men among all Were communities. Miles wasn't even sure how this worked. Devyn's mother had not mated. She had found a mate, yes, but she had not mated with him. Reasoning was that her mate had been human and back in those days mating with a human had been strictly forbidden. Mating with anyone outside of your Were species had actually been strictly forbidden. Devyn's mother had decided not to stick with her heritage. She moved away from the pride and had kids with the human. That had seemed to cause problems but the human had known what Devyn's mother was before they had married. Miles didn't even know Weres and humans could have kids together. He didn't even know that was possible until that point. "Conway—" "She doesn't know?" Conway interrupted Miles before he could even start really. "She has no idea. Her twenty-first is coming up in November and I can tell she's already starting to feel the change. It's only July for Christ sake, Conway. She comes from one of the most prominent and powerful prides that ever lived. Or at least she descends from it. How could her parents not tell her this? How could they keep this from her? Surely they knew? They would have had to know she was going to turn out to be Were." "Miles, the most important thing for you to do right now is get ahold of her brother. My take on the situation is he doesn't even know about her situation. I can tell you right now that girl is going to be one very powerful little feline. What sort of progression is she showing?" Conway seemed more than interested at this point. Miles gave Conway everything he knew. Devyn was healing like a Were as well as hearing things she shouldn't be able to. He knew her vision was better than most. Her scenting skills were progressing rapidly and she was having visions. Miles explained to Conway what Devyn had told him about her dreams. Then he launched into the story about Devyn blowing up about how she felt different. By the time Miles was done explaining, he felt like his head was about to spin right off his shoulders. "Miles, you have to tell her what's going on. If you don't she's going to be even more overly emotional about the whole situation and you don't want that, son. You need to tell her sooner rather than later." Conway's tone was serious now. "What about mating? It's forbidden to mate with a different species of Were, Conway. My wolf isn't settling down. He's been pacing back and forth in my mind since I got these papers. She's my mate and we're not happy about this." Miles could feel his heart slow and feeling like it could shatter any moment. "Miles, don't jump to conclusions. This isn't the first time this has happened. We'll figure it out after you tell her everything and get ahold of her brother. And I wouldn't be so sure about that boss of hers. My guess is, he most definitely has something to do with her little 'suicide mission'." Conway told Miles goodbye and Miles hung up the phone. People were out to kill Devyn because of who she was. That meant that people either didn't know about her brother or her brother didn't have near the caliber of power Devyn did. Devyn was already showing powers no other Were would have developed before age twenty-five. At least not a Were of the feline species. Devyn's progression wasn't normal. It was scary fast and she had no one around to teach her or progress with her. Miles knew very little about how her species changed. He didn't know every step and it didn't sound like he was going to have much time to do any research. Miles sighed and got up from his desk. He hadn't realized how late it actually was until he stepped out of his office and looked out a nearby window. The sun had already mostly set and the grounds seemed to be somewhat quiet. After last night everyone was probably in their own wing of suites spending time with their family and friends. It had been a hectic day of clean up and paperwork for others. Miles had been too frazzled and busy figuring his situation out with Devyn along with figuring Devyn herself out. As he walked up the stairs he saw one of the pack nurses, Millie, leave his bedroom. She looked pale and concerned as she came up to the Alpha. "Alpha Wellington, she's not doing well. She's lying in bed sweating up a storm. She was complaining about a headache an hour ago so one of the guards came and got me. I was just coming down to get you myself, sir." Millie sounded scared but Miles couldn't help the growl that came from his chest as he hurried to his bedroom. "Devyn, what's wrong? Besides the headache?" Miles sat on the edge of the bed next to his mate and smoothed her sweat-dampened hair back from her forehead. "It hurts everywhere, Miles. I can't explain it. I hurt everywhere. My head hurts the worst, though. My abdomen feels like it's going to explode, and my chest is tight." Devyn let a scared tear cascade down her cheek as she lay there, curled in a ball, clutching her stomach. "Jeff!" Miles shouted and Devyn groaned in protest at the loud noise of his voice. "Yeah, I'm right here!" Jeff, the Alpha's second, hurried into the room upon hearing his name. Jeff looked as though he'd been waiting for orders as he should have been. As second in command he was always near where Miles could easily access his assistance. His dark blonde hair was cut short and his green eyes sparkled as he awaited his commands. He stood at 6'5" at least and his body was mostly muscle. A normal person would not want to get on this beta's bad side. "Go get Doc Hansen! Tell him what's going on. Tell him I need him over here now!" Miles watched as Jeff ran out of the room. Miles looked back at Devyn and his heart sank. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was coming heavier than before. He watched as she flinched and scrunched her face up in pain before relaxing again. Devyn whimpered and opened her eyes before closing them again out of exhaustion. Miles didn't understand what happened. He'd only left her alone for an hour or two. When he left her she was okay except for the mood swing she'd had. She hadn't complained about feeling a headache coming on or any of the other pain she was feeling. She hadn't said anything about any of it. As Miles thought about it, though, Devyn had looked a bit pale when he'd left her. She might have mentioned having a headache in passing, but he must not have heard her. Now she looked as though the pain might have been too much for her to handle. Miles just couldn't believe a headache had escalated to this in the short amount of time that he hadn't been with her. This was turning out to be one of the most interesting days Miles had ever had. It wasn't a good interesting, either. "What happened?" Jason Hansen, one of the pack doctors asked as he came to stand next to where Miles sat on the bed. Jason Hansen was just one of five of the pack doctors. He had been so crucial to have around because of his different studies in several different types of medicine. He had studied most Were anatomies and knew just about everything when it came to medicines. Jason was more experienced when it came to wolves, but he could work with Were-cats. "She started complaining about a headache and then she lay in bed and one of the guards came and got me. He said she was curled up in a ball whimpering and moaning." Millie explained. This pissed Miles off. Why had he not been notified first? Of course he wanted Devyn to get the medical attention she needed, but one guard could have gone to get the nurse and another could have gotten Miles from his office. Was it that fucking hard to come and get him down on the next floor. Miles had not realized how worked up he was until Jason cleared his throat. "I need to get a look at her, Miles. You're going to need to move for the time being. In fact, maybe you should wait out in the hall..." Miles growled and Jason threw his hands up in surrender and rolled his eyes. Jason was the only one who ever got away with snapping back at the Alpha besides Jeff. Jason sat down on the edge of the bed and took Devyn's hand in his own. Devyn's grip tightened around his hand slightly and Jason felt bad for her. "Devyn, can you look up at me for just a second?" Jason waited patiently as she tilted her head and looked up at him. Jason nearly flinched when he saw Devyn's eyes, but stopped himself worrying he would frighten Miles or even Devyn. Devyn's eyes were a swirling green color. He'd never seen anything like it in his five years with the Wellington pack. Devyn's eyes were almost an emerald color. "Can you tell me what hurts, Devyn?" Jason already knew what probably hurt but he wanted to get a better idea so he could diagnose her more clearly. "Everything. My head and stomach hurt the worst, though. My chest feels all tight." Devyn's voice was barely there and she'd closed her eyes against the pain again. She was sweating so bad there was perspiration dripping from her face as well as her arms. Jason got up and grabbed his bag of medical supplies and instruments. He got his stethoscope out and placed the eartips into his ears before placing the diaphragm of the instrument up against Devyn's chest. His jaw nearly dropped when he heard her heart beat. This wasn't good. Jason's assumptions were proved. Devyn was not of wolf species. She was definitely cat and she was near the cusp of turning. He'd never seen anything like it, though. The girl didn't even look like she was old enough. Were-cats didn't turn until they were at least twenty one and she didn't look twenty-one. Jason sighed and put his stethoscope around his neck before looking to his alpha. "Everyone out except Millie and Alpha Wellington," Jeff said hurrying everyone out of the room. There had been four guards in there as well as Jeff, Millie, Jason, Miles, and Devyn. It was too crowded and Devyn was going to be in this condition for at least another twelve hours. "Miles, how old is Devyn?" Jason asked as he looked pointedly at Miles. "Twenty. She'll be twenty-one in November." Miles didn't like the look on Jason's face. "I'm guessing you know she's not a wolf. What I'm really going to guess, is you already know she's panther. I can tell just by her eyes." "I just found out a few hours ago. What's going on Jason?" Miles was getting angry and his anger was pushing him to shake. "She's going through her change already. It's a bit early. Panthers don't usually progress this fast. Usually they're halfway to the age of twenty-two before they change, and even then their change could take up to a full month. I'm going to say the mating bond between you two is pushing it. She's going to be in a lot of pain for the next twelve or so hours. I can give her a sedative but her body is going to metabolize it so fast it could be pointless. I can try, though. We aren't prepared for this. I don't have any medication for panther Weres, Miles. I have plenty for wolves, but we metabolize medication much differently. There isn't anywhere I can get any of the medication I'd need to sedate a Were of her species within the next twelve hours, either." Jason waited for his orders patiently as Miles took in this new information. "Miles!" Devyn cried out as she felt a burning rip through her abdomen as though it was about to split her in two. "I'm right here, Love." Miles was at her side taking her hand in seconds as he contemplated what to do. "Miles, you need to tell me what you want to do." Jason pushed further as he waited for an answer. "Let's try the sedation you use on our kind first. If it doesn't work, I'll just stay with her and wait it out with her. I'm not leaving her side, though." Miles explained. Devyn whimpered again and Miles smoothed her dampened hair back again. It was going to be a long twelve hours. *** Devyn didn't know what happened. She was fine the couple of hours before Miles had left her. She'd felt funny, yes, but she hadn't felt any immediate pain as she was feeling now. Now Devyn just wanted to curl up in a ball and die or pass out until the pain had dissipated. Devyn could hear the people around her but she wasn't paying attention. She could hear Miles shouting orders and she could feel him next to her. It was comforting her more than he'd know. In that moment, though, she wished that Liam or even her older brother, Robby, were there with her. She felt like she needed her family with her and Liam was as close as family had come before Miles had entered her life. Robby, though, would have known what to do she was sure. He'd always taken care of her when they were younger. He'd always made sure she was okay. Stop that right fucking now Devyn MaAnna Chambers, Devyn scolded herself. There was no need to go down memory lane right now. She hadn't talked to her brother in over two years. He'd been around for her high school graduation then taken off again. She hadn't talked to him since and he hadn't bothered to keep in touch like she had tried for the few months after graduation. "Don't leave me, Miles. Promise me. Please." Devyn was sobbing but she couldn't open her eyes. She was afraid the light would blind her or make her head explode if she did. "Devyn, I'm not going anywhere, love. I'm staying right here. I promise." Devyn heard Miles whisper against her ear before he kissed it and her forehead. Devyn could hear bits and pieces of conversation from time to time, but mostly she tuned it out to concentrate on making the pain stop. Nothing was working. This pain was going to last forever or until it killed her. Devyn didn't know how she was going to make it through this pain. It was making her shake and convulse even as she stayed in her tight ball clutching her stomach, her head now buried in Miles' stomach as he had gotten in the bed to rest against the headboard to try and provide more comfort. "Dev, the nurse needs your arm for just a minute, okay? Just a second. Do you think you can do that for us, sweetheart?" Devyn heard Miles voice clearly. "I can't, Miles. It hurts too much to move anything." Devyn felt the tears slip down her cheeks which was a relief that she could actually feel something besides pain. "Devyn, sweetie, we need you to try for us, okay? We want to try and give you something to relieve some of the pain." Devyn heard a soft feminine voice whisper near her ear. Devyn whimpered and pulled her arm out from the tangled mess she had her body in and felt cool hands grip it gently. She moaned and whimpered in pain as she felt something swab across her overly-sensitive skin at the joint of her elbow before she felt the cool metal of a needle go into her flesh. Devyn cried out when whatever was in the syringe entered her body. It burned and relieved at the same time. Devyn didn't know if she wanted it to stop or if she wanted it to run its course. Either way it was too late since it was already in her body. Soon, Devyn's body had relaxed somewhat. The pain was still there but it was more of a dull throb now. Devyn's body relaxed completely after about five minutes. She still had a few aftermath tremors but she could open her eyes and look around. She was shocked to find out she could see everything with stunning clarity. That was definitely not normal. Devyn looked around at the new faces in the room before looking up at Miles. He looked relieved. Devyn didn't want to sit up, though. The pain, while eased, was not gone. She had a feeling this was going to be short-lived as she huddled into Miles more. She needed the comfort and she could feel an attraction starting towards Miles that had not been there the day before or the day before that. *** Miles was relieved. Devyn was sleeping after her third straight shot of sedative. She was still sweating and there were still tremors running through her body, but she was sleeping now until the sedative wore off in about an hour or possibly less. "Jeff, I need you to go down to the office, find her brother's number and call him. He needs to know. His name is Robby Chambers. Call him and make sure he knows the situation. Ask him if he can be here any time soon. If not tell him Devyn's going through her change too fast for her body to cope with it normally. Don't tell him why, though. Leave that to me." Miles ordered Jeff before turning back to Devyn who was whimpering in her sleep again. "Its only been twenty minutes, Jason. There is no way that sedative is wearing off already! You gave her three full shots!" Miles growled and resituated Devyn on the bed so he could lie down next to her. "I told you when I gave you the option that the sedative might not last very long, Miles. She's a cat. She's metabolizing it a lot faster than we do. You can keep giving it to her every half hour or you can just wait it out. That's up to you." Jason said in an annoyed tone. "We'll wait it out. We'll have to. We've got eleven or so hours if not a few more than that. Didn't you say with someone as young as her it could be more than twelve hours?" Miles asked Jason. "Yes, it could. It could take anywhere from twelve to twenty-four with her age. I had to read back in one of my medical books, but that's what it says. You're in for a long ride. I'm doing my best to get some sedatives for her that will work better, but I can't promise I'll get anything in the next few hours. You'll probably be waiting this out for more than five hours before I get the meds in here." Jason explained as he put his stuff back in his medical bag. "Do your best, Jason. You two can go for now. Check back in a few hours I guess. There isn't much we can do now but wait it out. I wish we could do more, but we can't keep giving her meds that aren't going to work. I want to, but..." Jason understood what his Alpha was trying to say. Miles wanted to do everything for his mate but there was no sense in wasting bottles and bottles of Werewolf sedatives on a cat. Devyn couldn't use it. It was only lasting for a half an hour and that was three doses. Two doses would be lethal on a wolf. One full dose could sometimes be too much for a wolf depending on their size and metabolism. It killed Miles inside to see Devyn like this and he really did want to continue to sedate her, but he didn't see the sense in it. They'd wait the next few hours out patiently. They could still sedate her one more time before they got the right meds. Until then, waiting was inevitable. "I'll be in the hospital wing. I'll be up every hour or so to check in." Miles nodded at both Millie and Jason before they exited the room. The Silent Killer Ch. 06 "Miles..." Devyn's voice was a whimper as she curled into his frame. "I'm right here, sweetheart. I'm not leaving you. The doctor is doing his best to get you the right medications, okay? We're trying our best right now, love. I swear." The only time Miles had cried had been when his parents died twelve years ago, but there were tears shimmering in his eyes now. "What's happening to me?" Miles could tell the meds hadn't completely worn off yet by Devyn's groggy, heavy words. "I'll explain to you when—" "Tell me, Miles. Please. I have to know." Devyn opened her eyes slowly and looked at him. Miles realized the two were eye level with one another now. Jason was right. Devyn's eyes were a brilliant green color he'd never seen on any werewolf. They were a bold emerald color that shone with tears now. Miles cupped the back of Devyn's head gently and brought her forehead to his lips. He kissed her forehead gently and sighed. "You're Were, love. You're a panther. I didn't know until this afternoon, but I knew something was off. Our mating bond is causing you to change faster than a species of your type would normally. You aren't supposed to change till six or so months after your twenty-first birthday. I'm sorry I can't help you more. We weren't prepared for this, Dev. If I would have known, I would have made sure to have everything we'd need. I'm so sorry." Miles felt Devyn's nails dig into his back as another tremor of pain ripped through her. Miles ignored the pain of her nails digging into his flesh and held her tighter to him. In a matter of minutes Devyn had gone from just feeling slight pain to feeling full-on pain again. Miles didn't know what else to do besides let her take it out on his body. There was nothing else he could do and the little bit of pain she was giving him was not even a fraction of what she was really feeling from how Jason explained things to him. Basically Devyn was changing, physically, faster than her body wanted to allow. A panther's change was supposed to last several days and this was only going to last several hours. The difference between several days and several hours was that one came with much less pain. Devyn was changing internally so fast it was as though her body couldn't keep up. Miles didn't completely understand the whole process, but it wasn't pleasant from the looks of it. Her outside change was going to be the last thing to happen. That would be even more painful and they would have to transport her outside. Miles would possibly even have to take her into the woods surrounding the compound. He didn't know how any of this worked but Jason had assured him he'd be there every step of the way when it occurred. "Miles?" Miles' head snapped up as Jeff came back into the room, "Already?" "She's metabolizing this sedative too fast, Jeff. We can't keep her sedated long enough to put a huge damper on the pain. We're going to have to wait it out the next few hours until Jason can get something more suited to panthers or cats in general. What'd you find out?" "I got ahold of him and he doesn't believe it. He said he'd fly out and he could be here in less than six hours I guess. He didn't say where he was coming from and I didn't ask. I just said to be here. I told him what you told me to tell him." Jeff explained slowly. "Go get some sleep, Jeff. You aren't going to be able to help here. She's in worse condition now that we've given her the meds than she was before it seems. The only difference is she's making less noise." Jeff hesitated before Miles glared at him. "Your mate is going to kill me if I keep you to the point of exhaustion before those pups are born. Now go." Jeff didn't hesitate this time as he left the Alpha and his mate in the wake of pain they were both feeling. The Silent Killer Ch. 07 Hey guys! Here is chapter seven and I hope everyone (or close to everyone) enjoys it. I'm still getting a lot of 'not-so-nice-mail', but I'm done calling it hate mail. No matter. I'm going to keep writing. Eight is in the process of getting looked at and nine is in the process of being written. If there are any questions, comments, or suggestions please feel free to send me feedback rather than just commenting. In the next few chapters I plan on answering a lot of the questions people have been giving me. Thanks so much for your continued support! Xoxo WIP §§§ Miles sighed as he fought to keep his eyes open. Sedatives meant for a were-cat had finally gotten into Jason's hands and was working with Devyn's rapidly changing body leaving her asleep for the time being. She was still curled into a ball and she was still sweating profusely, but the doctor had assured Miles she wouldn't feel anything for a few hours. It had only been about three hours since the sedatives for wolves had been used on Devyn, but Jason had apparently been able to pull more strings than anyone thought possible and get the were-cat medicine quickly. She hadn't fought against giving her arm up for the needle this time. Devyn had whipped her arm out so fast Miles had to wonder how bad the pain was, but he knew how sensitive she was when she screamed at having her arm swabbed by the cotton ball saturated in rubbing alcohol. Not even five minutes after Jason had administered the sedative, Devyn was out cold, even snoring lightly. Though she was asleep and unaware of it, Devyn's pain had not dampened and there was no way it was going to be gone by the time the sedative wore off. "Miles, you need to eat something," Miles looked over at Jason and Jeff who stood holding a platter of food. "If you don't come and eat, I'll forcibly remove you," Jeff said while noting the reluctance in Miles' eyes as he stood there watching him. Hesitantly, Miles got up and began to follow Jeff and the platter of food before turning around to look at Devyn again. "Go, Miles. She's not going to wake up while you're gone. I'm certain of it," Jason said as he sat down in a chair that had been placed next to Devyn's side of the bed. Miles reluctantly left the room to follow Jeff downstairs. Why had the two had brought the food up to him only to make him go down to his kitchen to eat it? It was almost midnight now and Miles realized he hadn't eaten since that morning. He was famished as he sat down and Jeff got plates for both of them. Miles ate in silence as he and Jeff gobbled down burgers, corn and cucumbers. It would have been the perfect summer meal under better circumstances. "Jason is doing everything he can, Miles. You know we weren't prepared for this. Devyn's brother should be here soon," Jeff said after pushing his plate away and sitting back in his chair. "Why aren't you with your mate? Sharon needs you more than we do right now," said Miles as he ignored Jeff's whole statement and picked both plates up and took them to the sink. "Miles, Sharon understands the situation. She's a little unhappy we haven't been formally introduced to your mate, but in time she'll get over that. We fully expect to meet her in a better situation after this is all said and done. You know by now she should have been introduced to most of the pack," Jeff said, though he knew he needed to stop grinding at Miles' nerves, but it was ridiculous how the pack had yet to meet their Alpha Bitch. Was Devyn really an Alpha Bitch? Well that was confusing. "She needed time to adjust to this environment. And now is not the time to be talking to me about this. She's lying in a bed in so much pain right now that I'm not sure how well she's going to take being around me when she comes out of this." "Regardless, the pack has to meet her Miles. She can't fight a mating bond. You've seen firsthand what happens to Weres that try," Jeff was being blatantly honest now and it pissed Miles off for some reason. "No, you're wrong, Jeff. We've seen what happens when a wolf goes against the mating bond. We've never seen how cats react to it. I don't even know what the protocol to cat mating is. I am not even sure there is such a thing for her kind, though Jason says there is," Miles was breathing heavy now and Jeff had to get up and put a hand on his shoulder. "You heard Jason, Miles. She's changing so quickly because she's reacting to your mating bond. He said that himself. My guess is they mate and her cat, even though it wasn't at the surface nor was it supposed to be yet, is recognizing you as a mate. Don't worry so much, Miles. It's going to be the downfall of you," Jeff gave Miles' shoulder a light squeeze before walking out of the room. He needed to get back to his mate. Miles sighed and leaned against the sink. This whole situation was messed up. Before this he hadn't known anything about panther Weres. He was a wolf. He was born a wolf. Well, he was born a pup, but he'd grown into a wolf and this lifestyle was the only one Miles had ever known. He'd only ever met one Were-cat and he had been a lion. This was a whole other situation. If a mating ever occurred between Devyn and Miles, they were both going to have to be equally knowledgeable about the other's lineage. Devyn was ahead of him on that one, though. She'd been learning about werewolves all her life. He'd had her record sent to him and she'd only ever killed vampires and a handful of Weres. Most of the Weres were wolves, though. That seemed to make the situation that much harder in his eyes. As far as Miles knew, normal panthers in the wild did not mate. They were loner animals and they didn't stick with a pride. Along with all of that information he knew that panthers in the wild also weren't very fertile. He only knew this because that's what Jason had told him right before telling him a few things about Were-panthers. Were-panthers didn't take after their family from the wild. They were closely related in prides. Some were anyway. There were Were-panthers who decided to go it alone and lived healthy lives. That was something Miles didn't want to hear. Jason assured him that Were-panthers took mates, were fertile, and usually lived in prides because it was just easier. There were some males who were head of the pride that decided not to take mates, but that's because they didn't generally feel a mating pull. None of this information comforted Miles, though. He didn't want to hear any of that. Over the past twelve hours he had almost wished he'd never met Devyn. The Silent Killer Ch. 07 "Please don't get upset, Devyn. Miles asked for me and I didn't want to—" "Leave. I don't want you here, Robby," Devyn was a little surprised that she was able to say the words. "Dev, c'mon..." Robby's voice was sad and tired as he looked at his little sister in her vulnerable state. "Get out. I don't want to see you," Devyn felt the first tear slip down her cheek as she spoke. She knew she was probably overreacting, but how was she supposed to react after she hadn't seen him in over two years. Suddenly he was just here and she was supposed to forgive him? How did that work? How was she supposed to feel? She felt conflicted and angry that he had just showed up. She had been in trouble and now he was here. Part of Devyn wanted to thank him and hug him, but the other part hated him. The hatred filled her to the point where she was nearly shaking from it. Devyn watched as Robby, reluctantly, turned and left the room. His body was tense and she heard him sigh before he closed the door gently. She didn't feel any better now that he was gone, either. Devyn felt emptier now, though. Her body was tired and she felt disgusting. "Devyn..." Devyn turned towards Miles who was watching her carefully. "What's going on, Miles?" Devyn broke down right there. She wasn't strong enough to withhold this much emotion. The Silent Killer Ch. 08 Hey guys! Here's eight, I hope you enjoy. Nine is done and I'm trying to at least start ten. I'm going to try and have 10-15 done before I go back to school next weekend. After I start school and work I won't have much time to post. I'll have time to write and get stuff sent off to be edited, but Lit is blocked at the university I'm at. That makes posting very difficult. Please be patient and keep the feedback coming. xoxo, WIP * "She isn't dead?" Maxwell looked from Stew to Jarrett. "We sent her in but—" Jarrett started but stopped when he saw Maxwell's face. "Is she dead or not, Stew?" Maxwell's gray/blue eyes were shimmering with anger. He was a powerful man. Maxwell was actually a panther Were. He didn't descend from the same line that Devyn did, though. He descended from a much less powerful line and it showed. Maxwell had short black/gray hair and there was no trace of fat on his body. Even at the age of fifty-two, Maxwell was in the best shape he'd ever been in. He took pride in working out and taking care of himself. It was the only thing he had going for himself at this point. "No, Maxwell. We tried. I sent her in on a suicide mission. Miles Wellington has imprinted on her. I haven't heard from her in over a week." Stew was nervous and Maxwell could tell by his voice. "So she's mated to the most powerful werewolf alpha in the US? That's fucking great, Stew. Thanks for telling me so soon," Maxwell said through clenched teeth. "Uh, well, Boss...They aren't exactly mated yet," Jarrett spoke nervously. "You realize this is going to be both your asses if she isn't dead before her change, right? You realize this? She's the most powerful of her kind and I can't fight her once she's changed and no longer human." Maxwell glared at the two men in front of him. He'd given them both very clear instructions. Devyn was supposed to be dead by now. She was going to be too powerful. Maxwell had been planning to take over. He was one of the more prominent panther Weres today, but now with Devyn around, there wasn't going to be a chance of that happening. He couldn't rule over the United States population of his kind with that little bitch around. There was no way, as she'd get one taste of her power and that would be the end of it. This whole thing had started years ago, before Devyn had even been conceived. Christie, Devyn's mother, and Maxwell were supposed to be mated. Christie had imprinted on a human, but the law then had been that it was not legal in Were communities to mate with humans. It was forbidden. Christie went against the norm, though, and the night before the mating ceremony she ran off with her human. The thought still disgusted Maxwell. Maxwell had made plans based on his then future mate's family tree. Christie's father was a direct descendant of Martin Rickens. Martin Rickens had been the number one most powerful panther Were in the United States to date. His power had surpassed any of the panther Weres alive, plus most of the ones who were alive back at the same time at Martin Rickens. Christie, with her father being a direct descendant of Martin, was almost just as powerful. She never fit into the lifestyle, though. It had been passed around the panther council back then, that any of Christie's children were candidates to become just as powerful as Martin. The genes, no matter how ridiculous it sounded, skipped every few generations. That had meant that Christie's children would inherit those genes. At least one of them probably would. The only reason Maxwell knew it was Devyn who'd inherited the genes was because Robby had a monitor on him ever since his change. Robby had shown no signs of super supernatural powers and the twin girls had always been out. Those two had not inherited any supernatural powers whatsoever. Each and every one of Christie's children had become monitored once they were born. There were blood samples sent to the panther council that were then passed on to specialized doctors within the panther community. While the twins had not tested positive for any supernatural traits, Devyn and Robby had tested positive for all of them. However, Devyn had tested for all of the traits plus some which meant she'd inherited all of the Rickens genes. Robby, on the other hand, had only inherited the genes from his mother. No one knew how it worked and there were still scientists in the panther community trying to make breakthroughs. "I want her dead by the end of the fucking week. I mean it, Stew. Jarrett, you're off the case," Maxwell said in a dismissive tone. Jarrett's face dropped and Maxwell watched him. He wasn't good at his fucking job anyway. What was the point in having him around if he wasn't any good at what he was doing. Maxwell needed this done and it needed to be done as soon as possible and before Devyn realized what was going on. The Silent Killer Ch. 08 "We can stop..." "No! I'm—" Miles pulled out and pushed into Devyn once to see her reaction. Devyn closed her eyes and grimaced but he could tell it wasn't as painful. She was so wet as it was. Miles pulled almost all the way out and pushed back in slowly. Devyn moaned loudly and pushed back up against him. She pushed her head back exposing her neck to Miles. The sight was so tempting that Miles had to look away and looked up at the headboard. In that moment, he could never have described in words how badly he wanted to sink his teeth into her. The Silent Killer Ch. 09 The Silent Killer Ch. 09 “Miles…” Miles cut her off with a hard, bruising kiss to Devyn’s lips and heard her moan. Hearing her moan spurred him on even more and he reached down their bodies and dipped his hand into her tight pants and lacy boy shorts. Devyn ripped her mouth away from his and cried out when he found her clit. Her body was on fire in that short amount of time. She couldn’t have stopped any of it from happening even if she had wanted to. Miles grabbed Devyn’s shirt at the bottom and yanked, watching as it ripped all the way up and floated down to the ground. He did the same thing with her bra and went still when he saw the sweat dripping from her taut stomach. Her ample, perky tits were heaving with her breathing and it was doing unmentionable things to Miles’ control. “Miles! Honey! Look at me!” Devyn cupped his face in her soft hands and searched his face. Miles eyes were swirling with lust and need as Devyn studied him. His eyebrows were pulled together in confusion, his lips were slightly open and his breathing heavy. His face was flushed and there was a little dribble of sweat hanging from his nose. Devyn felt just as much need as he did, but she knew if they started it would be a while before he’d be able to leave her alone. “We can’t start this here. If we do we’ll never get away. If we start before we can get to wherever it is you’re taking us, we’ll never get there,” Devyn said still breathing heavy and sweating. “I don’t think I can wait,” Miles replied as he started to pull away from Devyn, but she held onto him tighter, her grip almost painful. “Miles, we have to wait. I want it just as bad, but we have to. If something goes wrong and we can’t control ourselves…” Devyn shrugged and bit her lip which made Miles groan and rest his forehead against her now-exposed shoulder. “The plane will be ready in less than an hour. Let’s go grab showers, pack, and get ready, alright? I’ll have the omegas bring up whatever you want. After we get back, we’re going to have you meet the whole pack. By then you’ll have to be ready,” Miles said as he helped Devyn up, took his shirt off and handed it to her. Devyn wasn’t much for walking around topless or nude. She knew the pack wouldn’t necessarily care, but she was a more private person. People had to remember she wasn’t raised in a pack or a pride. She was human or she’d been raised as one. It took all of an hour for the two to get ready. That included packing, bathing, and getting ready for the flight itself. Devyn hated flying. The entire way to the airport her knee bounced and Miles tried to calm her down. The flight was going to take longer than she wanted to admit to herself so Devyn curled up back in the bedroom. The bed was a California King and it was clad in satin sheets and a cotton comforter. She’d only been laying there for about ten minutes when she felt the bed shift and Miles’ arm come around her. “I can smell you all the way out there. It’s driving me absolutely up a wall,” Miles said as he buried his nose into Devyn’s neck and inhaled deeply. Devyn turned around in his grasp and buried her face in his chest. “What’s wrong?” Miles voice vibrated through his chest against Devyn’s face and it gave her tingles. “I don’t like to fly. I’ve never had this much of a problem with it, though.” Devyn replied in a small voice. Miles tucked Devyn more into him and kissed the top of her head. He waited until her heard her breathing even and knew she was asleep before he got up from the bed. He went out and sat in the main area, mixing himself a drink, and sat down to read over some files. They were just files for his club but he’d been neglecting work too much. Miles was flipping through his last file when Devyn came out, took the file from him, and settled in on his lap. Devyn’s hair was down and it cascaded over her face and down to the middle of her back. It was golden, shiny and smelled like coconut and the ocean. Devyn rested her head against Miles’ shoulder and pulled her legs up onto the chair. Miles situated Devyn so she wasn’t sitting directly on his straining erection and wrapped an arm around her back. He rubbed her back in slow circles and kissed the top of her head as the chair they were in rocked in a slow motion. Miles thought about how well she seemed to be taking the whole situation. She wasn’t as freaked out as she had been when she’d first gotten to the compound. She was coming around and able to adjust to this new life, but he knew that she’d still put her foot down when she wanted something. He wished she were adjusting to the flight just as well. “You okay?” Miles asked against Devyn’s head. “How long?” Devyn asked in reply. “A few more hours,” Miles replied. Devyn was shaking like a leaf on a tree. She folded her arms into her abdomen and nuzzled her face more into Miles’ neck. Miles didn’t like the feel of the way she was shaking. It was like the change all over again except without the pain. She was shivering and she was so pale it was as though she’d never seen the light of sun. “Devyn, just breathe alright? We’ll be down in a few hours and we’re going to make it just fine. Calm down,” Miles voice was soothing and he kissed Devyn’s temple. It only took a few minutes and Devyn was calm. Instead of staying calm, though, she felt Miles’ erection press into her back of her thigh and instantly started to grow moist. Miles inhaled, his nostrils flaring, and squeezed Devyn tighter. Her scent filled his nose and he tried to staunch the feeling of need he had growing inside him. Devyn turned her face and planted her lips over his gently. Devyn sucked Miles’ lower lip between hers before nipping it gently and pulling away to look at him. Her eyes had turned to the same brilliant green as before. She had a lustful gaze aimed at Miles and he returned the gaze. Without a word Miles pulled Devyn around so her feet were on either side of his legs, spreading her legs and opening her up to him. She was wearing a pair of cotton, black Soffe shorts that ended at her mid-thigh, a t-shirt, and what appeared to be another sports bra. Her thighs were smooth and toned and it made Miles’ mouth water. He rubbed his hands over the smoothness of Devyn’s thighs and legs before grabbing her by the ass and pulling her right against him. “Miles,” Devyn moaned against Miles’ lips as she felt his hands travel lower and closer to her cotton covered mound. “I can’t wait anymore. I’ve done the best I can but I just can’t wait,” Miles grabbed Devyn as he stood up, pulled her up to stand and yanked her shorts down. Much to his delight she wasn’t wearing anything under the shorts. Devyn kicked the shorts away and pulled her shirt and bra off. She was just as ready as Miles was, if not more so. She watched as Miles removed his clothing. Before she could get a good look at him, though, Miles had scooped her up and started carrying her back to the bedroom. Miles put her on the bed, grabbed her around the ankles and pulled her to the edge of the bed. “Miles, I need you,” Devyn’s voice was little more than a whine. There would obviously be no time for foreplay. Devyn was just as hot and desperate as Miles was. Miles watched as Devyn squirmed around on the bed under his heavy gaze. She’d crawled up the bed towards the pillows and now lay against them waiting. Miles crawled towards her on his hands and knees, propping himself up on either side of Devyn’s head. His hips were pressed against hers and his cock was rested against Devyn’s stomach. “Miles—” “Give me a minute,” Miles said as he tried to force his wolf down. Miles finally got his wolf to sink down then realized that Devyn’s cat was a little too close to the surface. Her hands were starting to turn into paws with claws in them and there was a light dusting of black fur popping up in various places on her body. “Sweetheart, you have to reason with your cat. I know how ridiculous that sounds, but you have to. I can’t have you changing on the plane. Neither of us going to know how angry your cat will be after being cooped up for a few days,” Miles explained as he stared down at Devyn who was still writhing underneath him. Devyn concentrated, closing her eyes, and she saw it, a black panther pacing in her mind. Its teeth were bared and there was a growl about to erupt from its throat. In her mind Devyn glared at the animal as if to say, “This is my moment not yours. You’ll get yours eventually.” The thought seemed to make the animal bristle even more. Finally, Devyn got it to recede back into her mind and the fur and claws disappeared. Miles saw the change and without a second thought, guided his hard length into Devyn’s waiting core. Both hissed at the same time and Devyn threw her head back into the pillows. The panther had returned, pacing around in her mind again. Please let me have this. When we get where we’re going you can cut lose all you want. I need this more than you do right now. Devyn spoke to the animal and, again, it seemed to recede back as if understanding. Miles watched with acute interest as Devyn closed her eyes and, he could tell she was speaking to her cat. He’d seen the fur speckle over her skin once more and held still within her. She was so tight and hot he wasn’t sure how he did it without shooting his load then and there, but he did. Miles started to move within Devyn and she ground her hips up at him. It was the most magnificent feeling for her. She was filled to the absolute fullest with Miles’ cock and she couldn’t get over the raw emotions going through her. Devyn gritted her teeth against the massive amounts of pleasure coursing through her body and, without warning, her orgasm slammed into her making her scream out Miles name. “Shit…” Devyn was breathless as Miles continued to move in and out of her at a faster pace than the first time. Miles was pistoning in and out of her hot sheath faster than either of them thought possible. Devyn grabbed the headboard for leverage as her body started to slide up the bed. She bit her lower lip against her screams and pushed up against Miles hard. Before she could stop herself or control her noise she was screaming out in yet another orgasm that ripped through her body like a tidal wave. “Mi-Miles, sl-slow down!” Devyn’s voice was a whine and a scream at the same time, and her body was shaking as the orgasm coursed through her body. Miles slowed to a stop though his dick was still firmly planted in Devyn. Her core was trying to milk him for all he was worth, but he wasn’t done with her yet. Miles pulled out of Devyn completely and, in one swift motion, turned her around so she was on her hands and knees. Miles reached down between them and rubbed Devyn’s clit in slow circles. Devyn whimpered and tried to scoot away from him on the bed. The fact that she didn’t have too far to go coupled with the strength of one of Miles arms around her waist didn’t allow Devyn to go anywhere. “Miles, fuck me,” Devyn clenched out through her teeth and pushed herself back onto his fingers. Miles, not wanting to disappoint, lined himself up and slammed himself home with one fluid thrust. Devyn cried out again and sat up fully on her hands and knees. Her head hung down and her teeth bit down on her lower lip hard. Miles’ hands were on her hips holding her into place as he slammed into her over and over again. “Harder!” Devyn cried out as Miles pulled her back up against his hard, smooth chest. Miles clenched his teeth against the urge to mark Devyn and complied with her order. Miles couldn’t believe he wasn’t hurting Devyn with the way he was impaling her on his thick meat. She didn’t ask him to stop this time as another wave of pleasure racked her body. That was all it took for Miles. He dropped Devyn back down to the bed, dug his fingers into her hips, and slammed home one last time before he spilled his seed into her. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Miles asked as he recovered from his orgasm. He leaned down and brushed Devyn’s damp hair from her shoulder and neck so he could see her face. Devyn just shook her head no and dropped her head to the pillows. She was exhausted and so satisfied she couldn’t put it into words. Miles had reached places she didn’t think possible. Then again, she wasn’t sexually experienced. “Speak up,” Miles growled against her ear. Devyn gasped as she realized Miles hadn’t gone soft. Miles was still rock solid and was starting to drive into her again. Devyn’s body betrayed her and jolts of pleasure traveled to every surface of her body. “Miles!” Devyn called out his name and it seemed like there was one continuous orgasm going through her body at lightening speed. “I asked you a question!” Miles spat out harshly as he drove into Devyn with slow, calculated strokes. “No! You—Shit!” Devyn screamed and bit down on her lip so hard it broke skin as the strongest orgasm yet passed through her. If Devyn had known this type of pleasure came from having sex with someone she would have been doing it a long time ago. “Miles, stop!” Devyn cried out and cringed as the pleasure got stronger. Miles did so, but not without one more hard slam into Devyn’s snatch. Both of them were breathing hard and there was sweat pooling in the small of Devyn’s back. Her skin was on fire and she felt every drop of sweat that landed on her back from Miles’ body. “Are you alright?” Miles asked a bit more calmly. “Yes, I’m just a little sensitive,” Devyn replied smiling slightly as she turned her head to look at Miles. Miles, without replying, pulled out of her and watched the cringe pass over Devyn’s face. Devyn’s pussy started to pull at the air. She was used to being full of him at this point and the feeling of emptiness was not welcome. Miles grabbed her around the hips, turned her around, then laid back and had Devyn straddle him. This way she could control the speed. The thought was a little scary to Miles. Devyn lifted herself up, let Miles line his cock up, and sank down in one slow movement. Both let out a groan simultaneously and Devyn just sat with herself impaled on his hard length. She couldn’t find the heart to move just yet. Devyn started to rotate her hips in circles slowly. Her eyes were closed and her head was thrown back with her mouth open just slightly with no sound coming out. Miles gripped her hips to help guide her, but to him it didn’t seem like she needed the help. Devyn started to bounce up and down lightly on his dick, the action doing things she never thought possible. Miles reached forward and started rubbing her clit fast. Devyn rode him to the same rhythm as Miles’ finger on her clit and soon she was coming again. This time Miles didn’t stop, either. He held her up a bit and started to piston into her yet again. Seconds later both tumbled over the edge together once again. Devyn collapsed on top of Miles and smiled. She barely had the energy for that small action. “You okay?” Miles asked for the third time since they’d started making love. Devyn laughed and rolled off Miles chest, “I’m much more than okay.” Devyn’s fear of flying was forgotten as she stood and headed for the bathroom. Miles watched her ass as she walked out of the room, it bounced just the slightest and the movement had his cock already twitching. He groaned, grabbed a pillow, and buried his face in it. It was indeed going to be a long week.
