It invited a weary traveler to sit a spell and enjoy the views from any side of the house. Tammy thought, "How welcoming," and continued to walk.

Tammy and Sonia were talking when the two guards started to walk down the stairs towards them. Tammy dropped her keys and bent to pick them up; therefore she wasn't looking at the men when they stopped at the bottom of the steps.  

Tammy heard Sonia introduce herself and one of the men respond by saying,"Hi I am Kyle Armstrong and this is Tyler....." Tammy stood and faced both men, Kyle looked down at the woman who had just picked up her keys and stopped talking. Tammy looked puzzled. 

The two men looked at each other then back at her. Kyle turned and spoke into Tyler's ear. "Go get my father and my brother Jeremy now. They are not going to believe this." Tyler took another look at me, turned, and ran up the stairs two at a time and entered the house.

Suddenly, the door opened and two men walked out followed by a beautiful petite woman and Tyler. The older of the two men had the most fascinating green eyes that Tammy had ever seen. He slowly walked down the stairs and stopped next to Kyle.

Kyle stood only a few inches shorter than his father. He turned his head and said, "This is the two women you were expecting Dad. This is Tammy Adams and her friend Sonia Donnelly."

"Tammy I have looked forward to meeting you since the moment we last spoke on the phone. I am sorry about my rudeness, this is my wife Anna the Alpha Bitch and my eldest son Jeremy. I can't believe how much you resemble them," reaching out and touching Tammy's face.

"Nice to meet you both and since my husband has lost all his manners, please follow me into the house. After you both get settled into your rooms, and had a little rest you can join my family and me in the library for refreshments." Glaring at her husband she carried forward and said, "It's obvious we have a lot to discuss."

"Thank you Madame Alpha. Please lead the way. I could use a little rest after such a long drive. I am anxious to learn about my wolf, pack life and why I look so much like your husband and sons."

"All your questions will be answered in due time my dear. You need your rest and for what I can tell, there are a lot of things we need to work through, not only with your wolf but with your back ground as well."

Drake turned away from the door and looked at Kyle, "I believe the proof Thomas needs just walked through our front door. I am glad that I sent him to California to check on our winery."

Tammy and Sonia followed closely behind Anna as they entered the three story structure. The two young woman were very aware of several sets of eyes zeroing in on them. "I understand but I feel as though I am missing part of a movie that I didn't know I was watching. I don't know what's going on and your pack seems to know some plot point that I have yet to learn. I know I look like your husband and sons and I have a feeling that isn't a coincidence."

"Come on Tammy let it be for now, Sonia responded. Yes you do look like the Alpha and his sons, but we need to have faith that all will be revealed in due time. You can't learn everything in one day. I know you are anxious, but let's get some rest and we can start fresh in a few hours. " Tammy nodded in agreement as she was shown to her room.

The room was nicely decorated in bright colors and earth tones. It had your standard setup a desk in front of the window, a chair that looked as though one could get lost in it and a canopy bed made out of cedar. Tammy could actually smell the wood and once again she felt at peace. 

With a closer look, Tammy noticed that the pieces of furniture were not store bought but hand made. She observed that the furniture did not have a glossy finish but a raw finish with stain that brought out the natural grain in the wood. Tammy couldn't help but smile as she sat on the bed.

Looking around the room further, she was drawn to a painting. It was a painting of a pair of wolves lying next to a beautiful waterfall. The colors the artist chose made her feel as though she was actually there. The crystal clear blues of the falls made her feel that if she touched the water, it would be cool on her skin. 

Then her eyes gazed upon the wolves, and Tammy felt an over powering feeling of warmth and love. The smaller of the wolves had a beautiful golden hue covering her body with blue eyes while the larger one was cobalt black with green eyes. 

The golden wolf seemed to be looking up at the black wolf with such love and admiration in her eyes, that Tammy felt the love between them jumping out at her. While the black wolf looked down with a gleam in his eyes acknowledging that is my mate and I am proud.

Tammy was so moved by what was obviously between these two wolves that she found herself right in front of the painting just staring. She didn't even remember moving closer. Tammy reached up and touched the wolves and a jolt went through her followed by extreme sadness. It was so powerful that she fell to her knees.

Simultaneously, there were several anxious knocks on the door and a voice in her head asking, "My love are you ok? Tammy are you ok? If I ask you again, your new pack will find a very enraged and concerned vampire on their door step. I love you and you need to talk to me."

Tammy tried to stand but she couldn't. All she could do is scream in her head, "So much sadness and pain. Then she continued with something that confused her mate. Who the hell are you. What do you want. Rita please go hide our daughter and make sure she stays quiet. And stay out of site no matter what happens. I will not lose you or our daughter."

As the foreign thoughts finally subsided Tammy finally managed to think, I love you William. I am not sure what is going on but please don't come. I am sure the Alphas will have some kind of explanation. I felt so much pain, sadness, and love all at once that I fell to the floor. I will let you know what's going on when I find out myself." Seconds later, Tammy felt the loving caress of her mate. 

Tammy's body was drained and her vision began to blur. Before she happily allowed the blackness to engulf her mind , a loud rash radiated throughout the room. The last thing Tammy saw before falling into the abyss was several people coming into the room with Alpha Armstrong leading the way.

The first thing Drake saw when he entered the room was Tammy on her knees in front to the painting of his twin and his mate. Panic and concern quickly consumed him as she turned to see who entered the room then abruptly passed out. 

Before anyone else could get to her, Drake was on the floor beside Tammy cradling her in his arms. As soon as his body made contact with hers, he knew without a shadow of a doubt this small woman was his assumed dead niece. Instinctively, Drake began to scan the room and listen intently to the sounds within the house and on the grounds surrounding it. 

Anna asked everyone else who entered the room to stay back as she approached her mate cautiously. She could see in his eyes that he was in protective mode and if confronted the wrong way there would be trouble. Anna knew Drake felt a connection with this girl and he wasn't going to let any harm come to her.

Drake felt a presence moving closer and began to growl. The scent of roses and honey invaded his senses, and he turned to see Anna bending down next to him . She smiled down at him, and placed her hand on his shoulder. He noticeable relaxed and looked back at the unconscious woman in his arms.

When the powerful Alpha turned back to his mate he had tears in her eyes. When he spoke he couldn't contain his emotions. "Anna, I heard everything that Tammy was telling her mate through the Alpha bond. She was somehow reliving the last moments of Damon's life. I knew my brother was a great man but hearing some of his last words made me even more proud to be his twin.

"I have no doubt that this young woman is my niece. When I touched her, I was slammed with the essence of my brother and sister. All I want to do is keep her safe and never let her out of my sight. Her gift is another thing to add to the list of things we need to discuss."

Anna let out a sigh and stated, "Darling don't you think we need to get Tammy to the infirmary. She has been lying in your arms now for 10 minutes, and she hasn't come to. Doc is going to want to run some tests on her, and we can have him include a DNA test. Then when she wakes up, we'll have at least one answer for her. What happened to her in this room can wait for now."

With the realization that his mate was right, Drake picked up Tammy and headed out of the room. Jeremy who came running into the room to hear his father growling at his mother stopped her and asked, "What happened with Tammy. All of a sudden I felt really sad and saw you and dad running down the hall followed by Kyle and security."

"Well your father and I felt the same thing. However, we felt more than just the sadness. Jeremy looked confused, so Annie continued, because your father and I are Alphas, we heard Tammy speak through her mate bond. She used your aunt's name giving her orders only Damon could have instructed her to do."

"When your father broke down the door, he found Tammy kneeling in front of the painting of your aunt and uncle in wolf form. She looked at him then passed out. We are going to have Doc run DNA tests because your father believes that she is your cousin." 

Jeremy seemed relieved but then asked, "How could she have relived the last moments of Uncle Damon and Aunt Rita lives? If she is my cousin, she was only a year old mom. There is no way she could have remembered what happened, so how is that even possible?"

"I don't know son. The answer to that question lies with Tammy. But until she awakens the only thing we can do is to make sure she is kept safe. And if I know your father, he will not leave her side, until she opens her eyes. Therefore, I will head to the infirmary and try to pry him away. Could you please let Sonia know what is going on and meet us there?"

"Sure mom no problem. We will see you in the infirmary." Mother and son walked out of the room together but Jeremy stopped next door to get Sonia. 

Jeremy knocked on Sonia's door. She opened the door so quickly that Jeremy found a knife at his throat. "What the hell is going on here. I heard a crash next door and tried to get to Tammy but security kept me away. If you're pack has done something to her, I will make sure you rue the day that you met Sonia Donnelly. Take me to her now!"

Jeremy carefully looked down at Tammy's irate friend. He knew that he could easily disarm her but decided to use his brains instead of brawn. 

"We have done nothing to your friend. Put the knife down, and I will explain everything. If you don't remove the knife from my throat, I will be forced to do it for you. I assure you the outcome will not be pleasant."

Sonia thought for a moment and said, "I am sorry 

Jeremy I am not a violent person, but I am very protective of my close friends and family. When I wasn't allowed to see Tammy, I thought the worst and reacted before thinking. Please come in."

As a gesture of good faith, Sonia handed Jeremy the knife and stepped aside. He took one look around the room and noticed clothes scattered everywhere. Jeremy shook his head and stated, "Dam girl you've only been here 45 minutes. Did your suitcase contain an explosive device?"

"Look don't judge my unpacking techniques. I like to spread myself out, and besides I know where everything is. Jeremy continued to shake his head which fuelled Sonia's anger.

"Are we done with the critique so you can tell me what is going on? Or am I going to start running through the halls screaming and looking for her myself. I don't really think you want me disturbing the other occupants of this house, do you?"

Jeremy grinned and said. "I think you would be a perfect match for my cousin Thomas. He would have a lot of fun trying to tame you. He likes his women feisty and unpredictable." Sonia went to speak but Jeremy held up his hand. He proceeded to tell her what had happened to her best friend as they headed to the infirmary.

As Anna predicted Drake did not leave Tammy side's during Doc Turner's examination. He hand a tight grip on her hand and had no intention of letting it go. Doc asked him respectfully to move aside, so he could finish his exam and he was met with a menacing growl for his trouble. 

Doc turned and glanced at Anna. His eyes met hers with a pleading look which prompted her to say, 

"Drake my love you need to step back. Doc can't do a proper exam with you hovering over her, besides William has called several times impatient and incensed. If you do not return his call, I am afraid you are going to have a very pissed of vampire knocking down our door. 

At the mention of Tammy's mate, Drake let go of her hand and began to walked out the room. Before he reached the door he turned and said, "Please do not leave this room Anna. I need to know that one of us is with her until she awakens. I will deal with William and come back."

Drake then looked at Doc and asked, "Jake please take good care of her. You don't know how important this woman is to us. Make sure you do a DNA test and compare it to my brother's DNA that you have on file. I need confirmation to what I already know, Tammy Adams is my niece." With that Drake walked out of the room.

Drake quickly walked to his office and sat as his desk. He closed his eyes and prayed that Tammy would be alright and that he was not wrong about her. And if she had the power that she seemed to possess, Tammy would be an even a greater asset and treasure to his pack. 

The gift of sight was not rare in the supernatural community but the gift of seeing the last memories of the dead is something that he had never encountered before. Drake needed to ask the elders about this, but first things first he told himself, "I need to make a phone call to calm a vampire."

He reached for his cell phone that he abruptly left on his desk when he went to go aid his niece. 

He noticed six missed calls and four messages. After listening to his longtime friend threatening to kill his pack in the most horrific and torturous way possible, Drake dialed his number. 

William picked up the phone after the first ring and stated, "I may have saved your life all those years ago dog, but all bets are off if my mate is hurt beyond repair. You know how long wolves can wait for their true mates. Well it can be even longer for a vampire. If she dies so do you and all that you care about."

Drake growled and stated, "Do not threaten me vampire. I value your friendship and have come to think of you as a brother but I will fight you to the death if you come after me or my pack."

Drake knew he did not want any ill will towards William, so he took a deep breath and continued, "she is alright William . Tammy just passed out. Doc Turner is doing tests on her as we speak. There is no need for threats my old friend and if anything happened to her, it would be like losing my brother all over again."

William took a moment to contemplate what the Alpha had just said. As though a light bulb went on, William stated, "You are telling me, my mate is your niece. The one you grieved for over 24 years ago? The one you thought was lost to you when Damon and Rita were killed by rogues?"

"Yes my friend that is exactly what I am saying. I have no doubt that Tammy is my niece," Drake responded. 

"Oh boy, I just thought about something else. Drake didn't say a word so William continued, Tammy is one spirited woman. I knew she was coming to see you and I didn't tell her about our connection. Hell only knows how she is going to react..........."

Tammy tried to open her eyes, but her body wasn't cooperating. She said to herself, "Girl settle down and try again", and attempted to move her hand. Again nothing happened and her wolf growled and panic started to take over. 

Her heart began to beat rapidly and her breathing became labored. Tammy tried to calm her wolf yet nothing seemed to sooth her. And adding to her trepidation, were the words 'Rita go hide our daughter' repeating over and over in her mind. "Who was Rita and who was the daughter she was instructed to hide?"

Drake's head popped up from the security report he was reading when the monitor started going crazy. Despite Anna's best efforts he insisted on staying by Tammy's side until she regained consciousness. He dropped the report on the floor and yelled for Doc. 

Drake was still standing by the door yelling when Doc came rushing passed. Doc turned off the monitor, and noticed the terror-stricken look on his Alpha's face. Jake turned and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and stated, "Don't worry Drake. She will be fine." 

While checking her vitals he continued speaking, "Remember I gave Tammy a sedative when you brought her to the infirmary six hours ago. "She is attempting to wake up and her body is not responding as she would like. She panicked which set off the monitor. I thought she would sleep through the night , but apparently she is as stubborn as her uncle. I will give her something to counteract the sedative. "

As Jake put a syringe in her IV, Drake's eyes moved from the small woman on the bed to his longtime friend. With apprehension in his voice he asked, "Would you care to repeat that please." Jake began to repeat that Tammy is trying to wake up when Drake shook his head and stated, "Not that part smart-ass the part about Tammy being as stubborn as her Uncle." 

Jake started smiling and said, "What you haven't noticed that stubbornness runs in your family? Drake began to growl which prompted Jake to continue. "Relax my friend. I was on my way to tell you that the DNA results were in when I heard you yelling." I ran the test twice to make sure. Tammy's DNA is a match to Damian's. My friend Tammy is your niece."

Drake sat down hard on the chair and tears began to fill his eyes. "I can't believe that she has been alive all these years and we didn't know it. I am a powerful Alpha how could I have not known my niece was still alive."

"Drake do not be so hard on yourself, Jake stated. Up until several weeks ago she didn't even know she was a werewolf. What ever happened to her after the rogue attack, suppressed her wolf. I guess you and Madame Alpha will have a lot to discuss among yourselves and with your niece." 

"Tammy should be awake shortly, and I will stay with her until then. I will inform you immediately when she wakes up. Now please go my Alpha and talk to your family. I am sure they are worried about you and Tammy. Jake gave Drake a reassuring smile and picked up Tammy's chart and began to read. 

Drake stood and approached the bed. He reached down and touched her cheek. A surge of love and protectiveness raced through him. "No harm will ever come to her Damon I promise. She will know everything there is know about you and Rita and what it means to be a werewolf," he whispered.

The tears began to fall and through their bond Drake said, "Anna please get Kyle and Jeremy and meet me in my office. We have a lot to discuss. The DNA test are in"

Anna whispered, "You don't need to even tell me my love. I felt the surge of love and protectiveness flow through you. I can feel your sobs in my heart, please my love do not mourn the past but cherish the present and the future. I will do as you wish. I love you Drake"

Drake smiled and wondered why he was so lucky. Anna knew him so well. He bent and kissed his niece on the forehead and headed for his office. On the way there he took out his cell phone and dialed his old friend. "Hello William. I have some news to tell you"

In the infirmary, Tammy's eyes began to flutter and she was able to move her hands. "Dam, it's about time. What the fuck is going on? Her wolf began to growl again. "Calm down my friend. I believe I am finally regaining control over our body. I feel a little groggy but we are coming back slow and steady. Please be patient a little bit longer."

Jake noticed some movement and looked up from Tammy's Chart. He walked closer to the bed and waited. After a couple of minutes he had a pair of green eyes staring up at him. "Welcome back young lady. I am Jake Turner the pack doctor. A lot of people have been worried about you. How are you feeling?"

"Speak you idiot, Tammy screamed to herself. However, words escaped her as she looked at the 6ft dark haired doctor with flaxen eyes. Then something happened that she hadn't expected. Her wolf came forward and impatiently said, "Snap out of it and open your mouth."

Tammy blinked and finally found her voice, "I am confused, and my head is pounding. I am guessing from the monitor and the IV, I am in some kind of infirmary. However, can you please tell me what's going on and more importantly , who is Rita and the daughter she was supposed to hide?"

Jake was a little shocked at the question, but quickly recovered. Unfortunately, his reaction didn't escape Tammy's probing gaze adding to her confusion. "I am afraid young lady that the answer to that question lies in the hands of Alpha Armstrong," he stated as he took her pulse. 

When Jake touched Tammy's hand, there was a jolt that passed between them. Again he tried not to show his reaction, but Tammy didn't miss a beat. She stared down at their connected hands and said to herself, "Interesting, I may have to explore this at a later date, but right now I need some answers." 

He placed her hand down and immediately called for Jesse as he wrote in her chart. When an attractive blonde entered the room, he whispered in her ear, "Please inform the Alpha that our patient is awake and asking questions." Jesse looked at Tammy and left the room. 

After hanging the chart on the end of her bed, Jake slowly raised his eyes to meet hers. Tammy just stared at him, her green eyes meeting his gold ones. Again Tammy's body reacted to the attractive doctor, but she chose to ignore it and closed her eyes.

A sultry voice entered her mind saying, "Oh little one lusting after the Doc are we. Do I need to punish my mate or perhaps invite the Doc to play?"

Tammy willed her eyes to stay shut and responding through their bond said, "Who knows what will happen in the future William, but right now I can only handle one man. Until I figure out exactly who I am and my place in the pack, exploring the Doc will have to wait." 

William's voice chimed in, " Whatever you want my sexy mate. I love you and since I sense that you are out of danger, I will visit you later. My phone is ringing and I need to go." Tammy returned the I love you before William broke their connection.

Tammy opened her eyes and found Jake starring at her. He quickly looked away and headed for the door. He turned and said, "Alpha Armstrong will answer all your questions. Sonia is outside waiting to see you. Are you up for visitors?"

After his conversation with William had ended, Drake put his head back on his chair. He didn't realize that he had fallen asleep until his nose was filled with the welcoming scent of roses and honey, and Anna whispering in his ear, "Wake up my love. I believe you have some news to tell us. We are all here waiting." 

Drake slowly opened his eyes and smiled when he saw his beautiful Anna. He couldn't believe after all these years that she still could make his heart race and his body tighten. 

Stretching Drake stated, " I am sorry. It has been a long day and night. I must have dozed off. I apologize for keeping you waiting. Doc ran a DNA test on our visitor, and he has confirmed my suspicions. Tammy Adams is the daughter of Damian and Rita Armstrong. She is my assumed dead niece and ......

"Would you care to repeat that uncle," a deep angry voice growled from the doorway. Four pairs of eyes turned to see Thomas Armstrong struggling to hold back his wolf. 

Drake stood so he would be eye level with those pair of angry amber eyes. He knew he was going to have to face his nephew at some point, but he wanted this confrontation to be on his terms not the terms of an irate wolf. "When did you get back Thomas? You weren't due back until tomorrow? Did something go wrong at the winery?"

Thomas looked and his Uncle and stepped aggressively towards him. Jeremy and Kyle both stood up ready to protect their dad and Alpha. With a wave of Drake's hand, he let his sons know this was his burden to deal with alone. 

Thomas gritted his teeth and said in a low growl, "How dare you try to brush me off after what I just overheard. Did it ever occur to you to call me and let me know you stumbled upon my sister. Who gave you the right to decided when I should know. I have been looking for her almost half of my life. I should have been here to when she arrived to let her know she had a brother that loved her." The last sentence came out as a slow prolonged sob.

Drake's heart was breaking to see this normally confident young man crumble in front of him. He slowly approached his nephew and waited. After a few moments, Thomas closed the gap and embraced his uncle. Drake could only hold on and let Thomas ride out this emotional wave, and did not let go until all his tears were shed.

The two men broke apart and when they looked towards the rest of the family, they noticed there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Kyle was the first to speak and with his eyes on Thomas he stated, "So dad before we were so rudely interrupted, you were about to tell us about the DNA test results."

Drake took a deep breath and said, " Doc ran the DNA test twice and there is no doubt that Tammy Adams is my niece and your sister Thomas . I have also put a call into the Were Council to discuss what happened in her room, and it's significance."

Thomas looked confused and Anna stepped forward and hugged him. "Don't worry Thomas, I will explain what happened on our way to the infirmary. I think it is time to introduce Tammy to her family especially her big brother. With her arm around her nephew, Anna walked out of her mate's office. The rest of her family smiled and followed close behind.

By the time the Armstrongs reached the infirmary, they were met with loud laughter filling the hallway. Drake knocked and waited for Tammy to tell him to come in. 

Tammy said, "Enter" and the Armstrong family was greeted with Tammy sitting up and Sonia lying next to her on the bed. They were watching an episode of The Big Bang Theory with tears running down their faces. The Two friends looked towards the door and Thomas' nostrils flared.

Thomas' nose was bombarded with the sent of orchids and orange and his eyes turned a deep deep amber. His wolf began to howl in his head and one word came to mind. "Mine."

Sonia just stared as the most gorgeous man she had ever seen moved into the room. "Wow who is that, she asked Tammy. I feel strange and I can't stop looking at him. My heart is straining against my chest pulling towards him. I want to lick him from head to toe."

Without diverting her eyes, Tammy whispered, "Who wouldn't react that way when you come face to face with an embodiment of a Greek god. But there is something familiar about him. He looks like Alpha Armstrong and me but with different colored eyes."

Thomas stuffed down his wolf and told him, "Later my friend. I know the brown eyed beauty is our mate but we are here to meet our sister. I promise you that we will get to know that tantalizing creature and claim her. However, first things first. Tammy needs us, and we have a lot of catching up to do."

Drake knew what was happening to Thomas and put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Uncle. I am in control. I know what is transpiring and I will deal with it later. Right now Tammy is my top priority and I know my mate will not be going anywhere any time soon. I will make time for her, after I get to know my sister."

Before she could even register what was happening, Tammy stood and walked towards the unfamiliar male. Doc removed the IV earlier, so there was nothing keeping her in the bed. She stopped just prior to reaching Thomas.

All eyes were focused on the middle of the room. There stood the two siblings in front of each other for the first time since they were one and six years old. It was quite the scene since his 6'3 frame morphed her 5'3 frame. 

Tammy finally looked up at the dominant figure before her. Her confused eyes met Thomas' haunted yet hopeful ones. 

Thomas held his breath as Tammy reached up and placed her hand on his cheek. The instant her skin touched his, Tammy had a flash. She saw a little boy looking into a crib smiling and reaching for a little girl's hand. 

She could her the boy saying, "You are my heart little sister. I will always protect you. I am so proud to be your big brother." At that moment the bond between the two siblings exploded like it had never been broken.

Thomas looked at his uncle with a perplexed expression on his face and through their bond said, "I assume this is Tammy? Drake nodded, and Thomas continued. Something is going on she is remembering a time when we were kids. I can see what she is reliving. I don't know how but our sibling bond has been re-established. How is this conceivable. She was only one years old the last time I did that?"

Drake had a theory , but before he could respond, Tammy seemed to come back to the present sobbing. "I don't know how this is possible but I remember you. You are my....my.... my brother, she squeaked out. 

There were gasps heard throughout the room and Thomas smiled down at the petite woman and replied, "Yes mo storin. My name is Thomas, and I have waited so long to find you. I knew you weren't taken from us that fateful night," and reached down and hugged his sister.

Tammy couldn't believe the overwhelming love that poured out of her for this man. She finally wasn't alone anymore. She had a family, a real family. In the back of her mind she could hear William talking to her, telling her that he was happy for her and that he would call her latter.

It took very little time for Thomas to step into his role as big brother when he felt Tammy tremble in his arms. He picked her up and walked towards the bed. Tammy didn't complain when her feet left the floor because it felt so good to have a family member taking care of her. 

As Thomas walked across the room, Tammy adhered to his neck which made him beam. She loved having a big brother and she wasn't afraid to show it. He knew what happened to her earlier and with the additional news that she had family must have taken it's toll on her already exhausted body. 

Thomas knew his little sister needed to rest and he placed her back in bed. He sat on the edge of the bed, and smiled at Sonia. The exchange didn't go unnoticed by Tammy's very inquisitive gaze, so she decided introductions were in order.

With a shaky voice Tammy uttered, "Thomas meet Sonia. She is my best friend and a witch. Sonia this is my older brother Thomas, and he is a werewolf." 

They shook hands and a jolt of electricity passed between them. They just stared at each other with their hands still intertwined. Tammy felt as though she had abruptly disappeared.

Tammy looked from her brother to Sonia then back again. Suddenly, Tammy had an epiphany, the mating pull. Sonia was her brother's mate and that explained his initial reaction when he entered her room. 

"I guess Sonia's reaction was truly different this time. How cool is that. My brother and my best friend," she said to herself.

Hearing his sister's thoughts brought Thomas back to earth, and he arched his eyebrow. "You know about the mating pull, and while I am asking questions, who is William?" Tammy just smiled and looked at Alpha Armstrong.

Drake took that look as a cry for help and started to speak, "Thomas we can talk about that later. Right now we need to tell Tammy what Doc found out. You already know this but I will confirm the information." 

"Thomas is your older brother which makes you my niece. Drake motioned for Kyle and Jeremy to step forward and continued, Let me officially introduce you to your cousins Kyle and Jeremy and to......"

Before Drake had a chance to finished Tammy interrupted, "Aunt Anna. Anna crossed the room and grabbed her hand. I knew you were a special woman. I just didn't know how much you were going to mean to me in such a short period of time." 

Anna smiled and said, "Welcome to the family luachmhor aon. We look forward to getting to know you better and introducing you to the pack. You will feel so loved and cherished."

Tears filled her eyes once again, but Tammy continued, "Thank you but I have so many questions. I want to know about my parents, the truth about their deaths, how I came to be separated from all of you, and how come I wasn't aware of my wolf?" The last question came out accompanied by a yawn.

Thomas looked down at his sister fighting to stay awake and peered at his Uncle. "My dear niece, it is obvious that you need to rest. Doc will have our hides if he comes in to check on his patient and sees her struggling to stay awake." 

"All of your questions will be answered in due time. You need to get some rest mindin. Please know that we are your family, we love you and you will be protected always."

Tammy grinned and started to drift off but before she allowed sleep to wash over her body she looked up at Thomas. "I know that you want to stay and watch over me, but I want you to take Sonia on a walking tour of the grounds." 

"We have not been able to explore anything since we've gotten here. Everything went all weird rather quickly."

Tammy touched Thomas' arm when he began to protest. "I know she is your mate Thomas, and I am safe here. I know you've put your life on hold trying to find me." 

"Well I am found and you deserve to be happy. Besides, Sonia and I have known each other since we were little. She can tell you all about your little sister and what she doesn't know, I can fill you in later. Please do this for me."

With those beautiful green eyes staring at him intently, how could he refuse her. "Wow, you've been back in my life for five minutes and you've already got me wrapped around your finger. I need to learn how to block that gaze."

Tammy smiled as Thomas reached down and took her hand. Before I go, I need you to know that I would die for you. You've filled the hole in my heart left by mom and dad's deaths. I love you little sis, and I am so happy you are home."

"Then please go and enjoy some time with Sonia. She really is an amazing woman. Oh, and by the way, William....is....my mate." 

The last words barely made it past her lips as Tammy finally drifted off to sleep. However, Thomas did hear everything because of his enhanced hearing. A perk of being a werewolf. 

Thomas leaned down and kissed Tammy's forehead and whispered, "Sleep well Mo Storin. This mate of yours better treat you right or he will have to deal with a very infuriated older brother. I will be back soon." Thomas got off the bed, took Sonia's hand, and headed towards the door.

Jeremy and Kyle approached their Dad which prompted Thomas to delay his exit. Jeremy asked, "Are you planning on telling our young cousin about what happened to Uncle Damon and Aunt Rita? I really think she has the right to know, and the right to mourn them."

"I am going to tell her when she recovers, Drake replied to his son. She deserves to know everything and so do all of you." 

What little I do know from our own pack elder is that Tammy is a very rare were. Not only does she have the power of sight but also the power of death clairvoyance. It seemed to get Elder Graham very excited."

"Unfortunately that is all I know and like I've already stated, I won't have any more answers until the Were Council returns my call."

Looking at Thomas and back at Jeremy he continued, "The call may also give us some insight into why your Aunt and Uncle died. Their deaths never sat well with me. I never believed it was a random kill by rouges." The boys all shook their head in understanding and waited. 

Drake shook his head at the bad memory and took a deep breath and released it. "And since Tammy is sleeping comfortably, we need to get back to reality." 

"Thomas go for your walk, Kyle and Jeremy you need to go lead the training sessions, and I have my own pack business to attend to. I promise that I will call a family meeting as soon as any new information becomes available." 

Thomas nodded and made his way out of the room. He smiled down at Sonia as they headed down the hall hand in hand. He liked the fact that she didn't ask any questions.

The rest of the Armstrong men left Tammy to sleep. Anna stayed back because she knew her mate would not get any pack business done if his niece was left alone. 

She heard I love you Anna through their mate bond. I love you too my sexy wolf, she sent back to Drake. She heard his hearty laugh and settled in with a book to wait for her niece to awaken.

After his enjoyable exchanged with Anna, Drake's cell phone rang. "Yes Elder O' Reilly. You've got someone consulting the ancient scrolls. Yes sir. You and the other council members want to come meet my niece? When will you be arriving? Yes sir we will be ready."

Drake ended the call as he approached his office door. He crossed the threshold and sat down hard. "Things are going to get pretty interesting come the end of the week and my niece will need reinforcements when meeting the council members." 

"I can't believe things are moving so quickly. I only contacted Elder O'Reilly four hours ago. I guess my niece is more special then I initially thought."

Drake let out a sigh and made the only decision that he could. He picked up his cell phone and punched in some numbers. 

His old friend picked up on the third ring, "Hi William. How long do you think it will take you to come to pack lands. Your mate is going to need your support." After reassuring him that Tammy was ok he proceeded to tell him about the upcoming council visit.

Thomas and Sonia made their way out of the infirmary. He smiled down at her as they headed down the hall hand in hand. He liked the fact that she didn't ask any questions. As they stepped out into the daylight, Thomas took a deep breath and said, "Now for your tour of the grounds, but I will warn you the mating pull is strong. I am not sure how long I will be able to control my wolf being this close to our mate."

Sonia looked up into a pair of amazing amber eyes and stated, "I have never felt anything like this before Thomas. I will admit I am scared not only because of my strong feelings for you but because you are my best friend's brother. I never want to ruin my relationship with Tammy. I know we are mates but we've been best friends since childhood, and I don't want a pissed off wolf coming after me."

"The only wolf coming after you right now my sexy witch is me." He reached down and pulled Sonia closer to him and took her mouth with his. His lips were soft yet strong and Sonia couldn't help but melt into his well sculpted body. Thomas took that as a sign and licked her bottom lip.

Sonia parted her lips and Thomas deepened the kiss. He wasted no time invading her willing mouth with his tongue. With their tongues intertwined, Thomas began moving his hands along her lithe body. He noticed her body tighten, so he slowly pulled away and waited for Sonia to regain her barrings. She slowly opened her eyes and Thomas gently touched her cheek. 

It seemed to sooth Sonia's fears, so she continued, "I have known your sister since we were five years old. We met in kindergarten and became instant friends. I knew she was different, but didn't know how much until recently. I can't wait to tell you about her. She has always been an intuitive, strong, and caring individual."

Thomas couldn't be more proud of his little sister and stated, "And apparently smart because Tammy knew right away that we were mates and that we needed to spend time together." 

Sonia thought of her life long friend and smiled. "Always the intuitive one," she said to herself as she moved her body closer to that of her mate's. She felt Thomas noticeably relax as they continued their tour of the grounds. 

After a few moments had passed Sonia stated, "Wow these grounds are amazing. It must have been great growing up here surround but such beauty. I could definitely get lost looking at the vivid greens of the trees and the voluptuous colors bursting from the flowers. Its calming to be so close to nature." Sonya looked up at Thomas and blushed because he was looking at her with adoration it took her breath away.

Thomas stopped and lifted a large calloused hand to her cheek. Sonia sighed and moved into his touch. When she open her eyes and met his amber gaze, he began to speak. "Your presence only enhances it's beauty Sonia. I can't believe that I've found my sister and my mate at the same time." I can't wait to learn all there is to know about you and my sister." 

"My wolf is screaming in my head to claim you, and I will admit that I am using every ounce of my control not to take you in the field of wild flowers back there, but I will not rush you. The decision to mate will be up to you my sexy witch. I am patient and you are worth the wait." With those words, his mouth came crashing down on hers again.

Sonia opened her mouth immediately to allow Thomas access, but as their tongues danced, a flash of a green eyed wolf invaded her thoughts, "Tammy." Sonia slowly ended their embrace. As her brown eyes met his amber ones, Sonia stated with a nervous tone, "Thomas there is something you should know before I can let this go any further." 

Jake entered the infirmary and headed straight for Tammy's room. His wolf kept nudging him towards her room all day. He tried to ignore him but he couldn't neglect his patient because he was afraid of how his wolf may do.
