My people believe that if she is able to leave the frozen mountains she dwells in then the kingdom is doomed to eternal winter. Warriors like me protect our kingdom from the evil witch and keep her wolves away. Recently there have been wolf sightings coming down from the mountains. I was given orders to leave my wife Lenore to defend our great city from the savages. We are not in love but we do not hate each other either. I suspect she loves me more than I love her. I married her for honor and respect of her father who offered his daughter as a peace offering for his crimes. Lenore had always been a good wife and had my respect. We have tried to have children but we have not had any luck but it is still early. Lenore hands me my great sword and respectfully bow her head. "I will pray to the gods that you will return with good health." She smiles at me softly. "You know that I will, Lenore." I say as I kiss her goodbye. Tears roll down her face as we linger in our kiss. I have always cared for the woman and have sympathized with her. She deserved a lord or possibly a prince, not a lowly warrior who defends these lands. She accepted her new life willingly but I know she is not happy. I wiped her tears away from her face and the blonde hairs that linger there. "Be safe, Aiden." She said as her voice started to crack. I nod and turn my back on her hoping that she will turn around and go inside the house. I get up on my horse and see Lenore stand at the doorway of our home I wave as I ride with the other warriors. I will always remember her sad sea green eyes pleading for me to stay home but these savage wolves are not going to leave on their own. These wolves are not like the regular sized wolf. They are Ice Wolves that the enchantress herself creates. They have razor sharp backs and look like blue crystal. They are the size of a horse and as powerful as a boulder. You have to strike them in heart or burn them to melt them. I am with five other men as well navigating through the forest. Two of them are young and ignorant. One of them is an old warrior who should be retired but our king has been a bit reckless these days. The other two are my age, later twenties. One of the men my age was not voluntary but punished by the king. He was holding a spear cowardly in front of him. "A spear is not going to do much damage to the beasts." I say as I get off my horse and let him go. "What are you doing?! We need that horse!" One of the younger men says as he tries to chase after the horse. "No we don't and in fact it will slow us down once we get to the mountains. They are rocky and treacherous. No place for a horse." I say as I head on. The older man and one of the men my age who I soon learn his name is Talis are by my side. The others hide behind us with their weapons. I hear growling from a distance but it fades just a quickly as it started. I motioned the others to stop as I try to listen in more. I follow the noise as the others follow behind me. Talis and the older man cover me as I move closer to the noise. I see the two enormous beasts head for the mountains. On of them holds a cow in its mouth by the neck as it drags it to the mountain. I have never seen a wolf retreat back to the mountains. I needed to know more but as I went forward, I saw the other men head back down. I run after them quietly making sure the wolves do not hear us. "Hey! What are you doing? We're not done here!" I say angrily. Talis turns to me. "Why? They're going back why should we care." I look at him wide eyed. "Because they could come back!" I grab him by the shoulder. "Fine you be the Hero while we go home." He says as he slaps my hand off him. I look at him shocked but then reassured when the older man walks over to me and stands with me silently. Talis laughs and continue with the rest of the men as they walk home. The older man and I walk deeper into the woods and begin to climb the mountains. As I climbed, I thought about Lenore and how heart broken she would be to not see me at the gates. I would go home if those wolves were dead but for now I keep moving on. The older man gets to the other side first and helps me over. The wind is howling and the snow is blinding. We try to make our way down carefully until we hear a snap and part of the mountain breaks off under us. The last thing I saw was the snowy ground. Everything else turned black after that. I opened my eyes to see a beautiful maiden in front of me. Her eyes were like blue crystal and her skin was as white as snow. He hair was black and wild and went down her bottom. She was thin but very defining curves to her hips. Her chest was well endowed from what I could tell with her long blue gown that was sparkling. I realized I was lying in wolf furs and that my arm was bandaged. It was pure crystal and gleamed brightly. There had been a fireplace in front of me but how? This girl could not have built this all on her own. She must have been a wife of someone. "Um, excuse me but where am I?" I said but the girl did not answer. She simply gestured to her throat and I realized she could not speak. Then I saw one of those wolves enter calmly and sit at her command. She was the enchantress. My eyes could not believe what I was seeing. The wolf hummed as the witch pet his icy head. She did not seem to be bothered by the cold at all. The wolf lay down as she went over to me again. I try to squirm but the pain in my arm was too much. She looked at me and I saw sadness in them. She held herself as she turned her back to me. I suddenly felt shameful for my actions but shook it off. She is a witch, temptress, deceiver or whatever you would like to name her. She is a sinful creature who has killed plenty of people. I will not feel sorry for the evil creature in front of me nor will I let her live. Tiredness washes over as I painfully fall asleep. The enchantress keeps her distance from me unless she occasionally gives me food to eat. I can tell some part of her yearns to socialize with me but I do not want to fall to any trickery. The wolf sits in front of me bearing his teeth at me. I look away and sit silently looking at the caves as I plan my escape. The girl stares at the crystals that are formed in the walls she begins to tap on them as they make soft little notes of music. I stare at her in interest as she plays music with the crystals. It was soft and melodic like a lullaby. I could not tear myself away from the beautiful music. She started to smile and enjoy herself as she taps on the little crystals. She sees me watch and smiles as she ends the song. She makes she way to me again but slowly this time holding something in her hand. She holds her hand out with a small crystal rose and leaves it on the fur as a peace offering. I nod to her and she smiles gleefully while she twirls around. How could a girl who seems so innocent and playful be so evil? I held the little rose crystal in my palm. The ice is freezing but it felt nice against my skin as I sweat in pain from my broken arm. Each day she would leave me an ice rose. It has been a few days since I fell and I had begun to warm up to the ice witch. She would play music from the crystals or she would sit by me, as I would eat. Every now and then, I would try to talk to her but all she did was stare at me. My arm was starting to heal but not enough. Whatever the witch gave me had healed me faster. I looked at her as she severed me food. I grabbed her hand and she looked at me alarmed with her big blue eyes. "What are you? Speak!" I could not contain myself any more. The wolf growled at me as I touched its mother and she gave it a disapproving glare as he relaxed. She touched the floor and they made frost marks on it. She drew on the floor and I stared at her. I could not understand why she could not talk. I looked down to see her writing on the floor. "I lost it." She looked at me sadly as she began to write it something down again. "Because I couldn't control it." I saw a tear fall from her face then freeze to her cheek. I did not need another explanation from her as I let her go. She rose up, grabbed a fur blanket, and gave it to me. The night grew dark and the howling got worse. It seems so inhumane that she was exiled for not knowing how to control the gift she was given. She must have been so terrified to be alone by herself. She made the wolves for company not to hurt people. She continued to play with her crystals as I tried to sleep. I woke up this morning feeling no pain at all. I sat up and took of the brace for my arm. The wolf kept his eyes on me as I roamed but did not seem to be bothered by me. I began to roam the corridors of the cave. It was like being in a palace of ice. I finally found her sleeping in a bed of ice and snow. Another wolf lay with her as she slept. She looked like a little crystal doll. I was tempted to wake her but I decided to turn around and head back to the room I had been recuperating in. I sat by the fire as I moved my arm around. She entered and froze when she saw me up and about. We both stared at each other for a moment. She wore a darker blue gown this time and her hair was tied in a long braid. Fear was in her eyes but not fear of me. She knew she was going to be alone again as she sighed sadly. Her ice wolf came up to her and rubbed against her to reassure her but it did not help. She looked at her companion and nodded as he walked over to a chest. He looked at me as if he was inviting me to come to him. I walked over slowly and opened the chest. All of my belongings were in there including my sword. I looked over to see the girl cry silently. I walked over with my sword in my hands. The wolf growled as I approached the girl. She looked up at me with wide eyes as I lifted my sword. I dropped it next to her is it clanged against the ice floor. She looked at the floor and back at me a few times. Her face changed from sorrow to happiness in a flash. I did not expect her to embrace with her tiny arms wrapped around me. She was delicate as a porcelain doll. I let her hug me a while longer until I feel frost develop I gently pushed her off me. She did not see m to care but instead she picked up the sword. I began to laugh, as it was too heavy for her tiny physique to carry. I picked it up and put it back into the chest. As I turned around, I saw her sit near the fire. I sat by her as we looked at each other in silence. "What do I call you?" I ask as I look into her crystal blue eyes. She looked at me confused and wrote on the floor. "I don't have one." I look at her shocked. How could she not have a name? "Well let's think of one..." I thought about crystals and Ice but there was nothing. I thought of all of the girl names I knew but it was too mediocre. Then I looked over to one of the holes in the ice cave to see an aurora. I looked back at her and said "Aurora." She smiled and wrote on the floor, "I like it". Aurora it is then. The next two days were simple we finally went outdoors and played with the wolves in the snow. The loved to chase snow balls and catch them. Obviously, they would crush the snow with their razor sharp teeth but there was plenty of snow. The wolves would dance in the snow and play with each other. I looked to see Aurora creating something with her hands. "What are you doing?" I say as I walk over to her. She smiled and moved away for me to see. It was an ice sword she created that looked exactly like mine. I went to grab it but it was stuck. Suddenly I felt snow hit the back of my head. I saw Aurora giggle silently as she created snow in her hands. "That's cheating." I say as I laughed and reached down as fast as I could. She gave me a head start in building a snowball. We had a snowball fight for hours until I was too freezing to continue. We headed back to the caves and I changed into something warm. Aurora sat in the furs in front of the fire as I sat down beside her. She smiled and pats the wolf that laid his massive head in her lap. I began to realize how much fun I had with her but I knew I had to go back eventually. Lenore must have been worrisome about me and I know it has been at least two weeks. If I do not come back soon then I will be presumed dead. I looked over to see Aurora look at me. I did not even realize that her wolf left her. She sat up and touched my face as I leaned into it. I did not want to think about leaving her. I kiss her lips softly and she kissed back. I pulled her tiny physique into my lap and wrapped my arms around her. The fire kept me warm enough to tolerate her cold skin and to keep the frost away. I moved from her mouth to her neck and pulled her red gown she was wearing off. She was so tiny and delicate. I touched her gleaming marble skin gently as I continued to kiss her neck. I could hear her pant with excitement and longing. I stopped to look at her beautiful breasts. The nipples were bright pink and smaller than Lenore's. I grabbed one into my hand as she gasped and silently moaned softly. She ran her fingers through my brown hair as I leaned down and sucked on the nipple. I could feel her excitement on my leg. The rest of her might have been cold but she definitely was warm between her legs. I laid her down on the furs and kissed her firmly as my hand explored her body. I moved my hand down to her beautiful womanhood, as she never broke eye contact with me. I kissed her lovingly as I touched her wet lips. She held onto my back and moaned silently. I wished I could hear her beautiful voice but looking into her eyes was enough to know she loved this as much as I did. I began to rub her clit, which drove her wild. She began to take my clothes off as I continued to rub her clit. Her hands find their way to my member as I moaned softly as I continue to touch her. I grab her and open her legs gently as I guide it to her entrance as I see her already pant heavily from her arousal. I slide it in whilst she winces in pain. I slowly slide in and out of her until I see her moan silently in pleasure. I began to thrust in and out of her as I feel her tighten around my hard member. I start to thrust harder as she begins to climax. I feel her claw my back as she wraps her legs around me as well. I moan as well as I feel her tighten more around me as if she was not tight enough. She shuddered underneath me as she panted. I sat up and had her straddle me as I kissed her with my fingers tangled in her messy black curls. As if it was instinct, she began to ride me as we kissed. I groaned as she rode me faster and harder. This time we both climaxed and lay in the furs. I kissed her neck and held her close to me as I fell asleep. I woke up alone and saw a message on the floor by Aurora. "I could not bear to watch you leave." My heart broke but we both knew that I could not stay here in her wonderful world of ice. I got my belongings and made my way out of the cave. One of the wolves whined as I left. For the first time I pat the Ice wolf. He was solid but smooth and ice. He licked my hand and nuzzled me for a moment. I felt a tear coming as I walked out of the enormous cave. The wolf left me something in his hand and I looked. A small ice rose. It had been nine months since I returned home. Lenore had finally been expecting and my days as a warrior were done. I got a job with in the city as a guard and I was well paid. I constantly thought about Aurora but I would never go back to her. I could not bear to leave Lenore now with my child and I knew Aurora would be all right with her ice wolves in her beautiful ice palace. I came home from work tired and worn. Lenore sat me down to dinner as we talked about the day. She was excited about the child and was not sure about a name. We heard the door knock and turned to it. "Who would knock at this hour?" Lenore tried to get up but I told her to sit. I got up and opened the door to see a beautiful little baby in a basket of furs. Her hair was a auburn color but her eyes resembled a familiar crystal blue color. A note was left with her. "Her name is Crystal."
