If you read stories here please take the time to comment and vote, the authors really appreciate it!!! Thanks, and enjoy because if you like this I can write another chapter to it if I get responses :)...Happy Reading! * The moon hung low in the ink-black sky, casting an eerie glow over the small wooded mountain side. The brook flowed around and down the side of the mountain, babbling all the way down and out through the lush green valley that lay sleeping beneath the black blanket of night. Molly McDonnel sat shivering beneath the majesty of an endless looking pine. She had truly under estimated the trail by night, and could not navigate a single step before dawn. She sat with her legs bent, her chin resting on her knees, which she had her arms wrapped tightly around. Her dark brown hair was still wrapped neatly at the nape of her neck, and her eyelids drooped heavily over her emerald green eyes. Molly started at the sudden snap of a twig nearby, craning her head around on her neck like a periscope, scanning the area for any sign of the noisemaker. That's when they came out. Four, maybe five hulking figures slunk out from the cover of a nearby tree grove, teeth bared, salt and pepper colored fur raised and positively bristling. A pack of wolves stood before Molly, squared off against her, and if they were as hungry as they looked, she was in trouble. The leader sniffed the air, and then lunged at Molly with out warning. She shrieked in terror as his jaws closed on her leg, his sharp teeth working to rip through her jeans, successfully beginning to pierce the tender flesh below. The pack howled and pranced behind their leader, urging, encouraging him to rip her apart. Suddenly, the howls became yelps as another wolf, far larger then even the alpha male that still held his deadly jaws clamped tight around Molly's leg, leapt into the small clearing. Molly shuddered, realizing this one would have no problem at all ripping her apart. The dog was massive, standing about four feet tall from top of head to foot pad, and about five feet long from the tip of his glistening black nose to the tip of his bristling gray tail. The newcomer pounced onto the back of the wolf attacking Molly and began to bite, gnashing and snapping his powerful teeth into the other animals flesh. Soon, the air was filled with the yelps and retreating howls of the pack. Molly sat, gasping to catch her breath, tears flowing heavily down her ashen cheeks as the big wolf stood watching the path the others had fled down. Molly thought the worst was yet to come. Maybe not, for maybe a wolf this size would be done with her more quickly then the smaller one. The wolf was more akin to a bear in size, and as he turned, he met Molly's big, frightened eyes and whimpered, trotting over to her and laying his massive head in her lap. He nudged his snout against her heaving chest, nuzzling her as if to calm her down. Relief washed over her. Perhaps this was someone's pet! As she thought this she entwined her fingers in the thick, almost black hair on the back of the Wolf's head. Suddenly, it felt like silk between her fingers, and the mass on her lap was much lighter. "I could be your pet, if you wish me to be." Molly screamed, jumping to her feet in shock, immediately tumbling back to her knees, unable to support her weight on her injured limb. There, lying in the place where the massive wolf had eased her troubled nerves lay a man... at second glance she noted, a beautiful man. This creature she now gazed upon in awe and fear was even more beautiful then the animal he replaced. "Well thank you. That is most flattering, kind lady. No one has ever thought so highly of my human form." The man said in a voice that was soft and low, sweet like a warm breeze on a cool summer night. Molly's mind raced with possibilities and she tried to shut it off, to block all her thoughts since he knew what they were. The man gave a laugh that started long and low and rose in pitch until it was a howl. "Even if you force the thoughts to stop, the feelings will not. I smell emotion." He continued. Molly sighed, gazing at the being before her. He was a massive man, like the Wolf that had been here. Where had the animal gone? Surely he was not... "I'm afraid so, dear lady. I am a werewolf." Molly gasped at the utterance of this fact, faced with a being that only came to life behind the closed eyelids of slumbering children to torment their resting hours. He was about six feet tall, lean and muscular. His face was angular, like a wolf's... His eyes were still the color of honey, dripping sweet and sticky in front of a sunbeam so that it glowed like amber fire. His hair was black, wavy tendrils of it flowing to his chin, which was partially covered by a courser matte of the same color. "Thank you..." Molly started quietly. The man smiled, his sharp teeth glinting in the pale moonlight. "Thank you." He replied. He came out from under the pine, crawling slowly to where Molly still sat, one leg tucked beneath her and the other sprawled uselessly in front of her. She winced only slightly as she watched the man hold out a hand and change... His hand became a paw from which deadly claws grew. The transformation stopped there, however, and he used the claws to tear through the jean material that was clotting to her leg in her own blood. His hand went back to normal as he pressed his fingers gently around the wound. His hands were soft, and tender. Molly found herself unnervingly happy from his touch. Was this what it was like to be petted? "Less painful." The man said, frowning into the deep bites on her shin and calf. Molly looked at him, confused. "What is?" She queried. "Being petted." He replied softly. A shiver ran the length of Molly's spine. "What is your name?" She asked softly, putting a hand lightly on his forearm. He smiled sadly at the gesture. "I am Leland." He said softly, gazing in wonder at the delicate hand grasped around his arm. "No human girl has ever been kind enough to touch me when they know what I am." He whispered. Molly looked into his sad soft eyes and let a tear trickle down her own cheek. He was positively captivating. She reached out, hesitantly, and then placed her hands against his cheek warmly. She felt the damp rivulets of tears slide into her palm. "I am Molly." She whispered, stroking her thumb back and forth over the line of Leland's chin. He leaned into her touch eagerly, whimpering softly like a satisfied pup. "Can I be your pet?" He asked, sounding suddenly the complete opposite of what he was. A fabulous display of muscle and masculinity, and this simple question made him sound like a scared little boy. Molly felt her heart clench in her chest. "No. Pets are like prisoners. You can be my companion." She murmured softly. Leland smiled his grin sparkling and, well... wolfish. He stood up suddenly, towering above her and casting a long shadow on the hardened dirt floor before he stooped and, very tenderly, picked Molly up in his arms. "Where is it you need to go, Miss Molly?" He questioned gently. Instead of answering, Molly merely sputtered on her words, for she was staring at what Leland wore... or lack thereof. "Ah, yes! I forgot full humans are not used to nudity. It is just how I change. I go from fur to flesh with no in between." He explained. Suddenly his face got very red and Molly knew he had read her last thought. "Not THAT impressive..." he muttered, sheepishly beginning to walk down one of the trails. Molly told him where she was going, and though she still couldn't have navigated through the darkness, even with both legs in perfect condition, Leland had the two of them back to her Cabin in no time. As Leland leaned to place Molly on the bed she gazed up into those amazing amber eyes. His body was perfect, he was beautiful and... she forgot herself and let her imagination run free. She landed on the bed and bounced, having been dropped on the mattress. Leland stood next to the bed looking very shocked and frightened. "Leland, what's wrong?" Molly asked gently. He looked into her eyes longingly. "I... I can't. We can't!" He said, shaking his head. Molly looked at him, confused. He sighed, sitting on the floor beside the bed. "When humans mate, they sometimes mate many times with many different partners. They have marriage, and divorce and so on. When a wolf mates, he mates for life with one female. If I did what you were thinking, you would be my mate... for life." Molly looked at Leland tenderly. "I didn't mean to upset you, Leland." She murmured gently. He nodded, leaning his head onto her knee from his perch beside her bed. "You didn't upset me, Molly. You did something far more dangerous..." he looked at her with searching eyes. "You aroused me." Chapter Two. Leland had busied him self tending to Molly's leg and getting her a bite to eat after his confession, his cheeks tinged rosy with a bit of embarrassment. Molly had given him a pair of sweatpants she kept laying around that had been her brothers until she took them to lounge in. She couldn't help but gaze longingly at his perfectly sculpted body as he moved about. His abs were perfect ripples of rock hard muscle, his hips defined by the sexy little dimples that disappeared into the sweatpants, and for a creature that was rumored to be damned, he surely had an ass on loan from God himself. Every now and again as Leland passed the bed, he picked up on one of these thoughts and growled, low and deep in his chest. This made Molly color, and more then a few times Leland began to fill the sweat pants out a bit more thoroughly then before he'd read her thoughts, and it probably didn't help that Molly was now clad only in a large t-shirt. Molly closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep for a time. When she awoke, Leland was curled beside her on the bed, his head on her stomach, his fingers laced through hers. Molly smiled softly at her new friend, who was sleeping soundly there beside her. Suddenly his eyes fluttered open, that startling amber glow shining up at her. "How does your leg feel?" Leland asked, stretching languidly and giving a soft, dog-like whine as he did so. "It's stiff, and sore, but alright besides that." She replied. 'It's not the only thing that's stiff and sore...' This last comment she heard in her mind, but it was not a thought. It was distinctly said in Leland's voice, but not out loud. She looked at him sharply. "What did you say?" she asked. 'If you only new, Miss Molly...' "Nothing at all, Miss Molly." He said softly, stroking her hair from her face. Molly's eyes grew round and large. "If I only knew what, Leland?" She said softly. Leland looked at her suddenly, his head snapping up, his eyes flashing wide open and burning with an intense glow. 'You can here this?' Leland thought to see if he was right about what was going on. Molly looked him in the eye. "Yes. What does this mean Leland?" she asked. Leland howled softly, a wide grin spreading across his face. 'It means, dear Molly, that you are my one.' Molly looked a bit confused at this last comment, shaking her head and looking at Leland with disbelief evident in her eyes. "One what?" she said. Leland gently took her hand. 'Werewolves don't just choose a person or a bitch to mate with and decide that they will do until one of them, or both, dies. You see, every Werewolf has a soul mate. This person or dog is the only one who can hear a werewolf's thoughts without themselves being a Werewolf. So either you are a Wolfie too, or you are my one. Tell me, Miss Molly, are you very hairy? Moody? Insatiably hungry for meat?' Molly looked at Leland in bewilderment, shaking her head in response to his questions. She gazed at him uncertainly for a moment before asking the question. 'Is there any way to be certain?' Leland nodded. 'If you can not resist making love to me just before the next full moon rises, that is how we know. Literal Animal magnetism.' Molly thought about the lunar cycle and where it was at now. The next full moon was... 'Tomorrow night!' she said. Leland nodded slowly. "So, if you can get me to have sex with you before tomorrow night, I'm your soul mate?" Leland nodded happily in answer to Molly's thought. She sighed heavily, lying back against the pillow, stroking his hair. It wouldn't be so bad to be stuck with a gorgeous, strong, tender man forever... but he was part animal! Molly couldn't keep up with her own thoughts and was soon drifting in and out of a troubled sleep. Molly woke to find Leland, sans sweatpants, sprawled next to her, his facial hair tickling her neck softly. She sucked in a breath, resisting the urge to wrap her hands around his length. He was extremely hard, and his muscled body pressing against her was not helping her own state. She gently brushed back a few strands of hair hanging in front of Leland's eyes, only to find them wide open and gazing at her. She couldn't stop looking into those eyes... "Leland, where are those pants?" she asked softly, squeezing her thighs together, fighting back the building moisture. Leland pointed nonchalantly to the floor. "Too hot for pants." He murmured. He ran his hand over her stomach, resting his head on her shoulder and drifting off to sleep once more. Molly sighed heavily, stroking her hand tenderly through Leland's hair. It was becoming increasingly difficult for her to control herself. His hard body was bathed in a silver beam of moonlight that filtered in passed the tree branches and in through the window. His muscles rippled under his smooth, perfect skin as he moved slightly, shifting over Molly's body in his sleep so that his hand was cupped over her ribs, just beneath her left breast, his left leg draped over her left thigh, his erection pressing insistently into her hip. She moaned soft, and low in her throat, feeling the silky skin of his solid appendage pressed into her flesh. He made her burn, a hot flame fanning it self from her loins and spreading to her toes and fingertips, her lips trembling slightly, her face flushing. Molly's breathing became labored, heaving sighs. She couldn't fight the temptation to touch him any longer. She ran one slender finger along his side, down toward his hip, over that delicious curve and down his thigh. Leland shivered slightly, his skin rippling with goose-bumps where her finger had touched. Suddenly, his eyes snapped open, and his hand darted out, clutching her wrist gently, but very firmly. "Miss Molly, go no further, I beg you, unless you are willing to go as far as we can." Leland murmured softly, looking at her with his pleading wolf eyes. The inferno in her abdomen flared, burning hotter and driving Molly nearly insane. He was perfect... She rolled herself on top of Leland, straddling his perfect, chiseled hips. Leaning forward, she took his soft lips with her own, kneading them against her mouth, her tongue gliding softly across his bottom lip. He let her tongue slip softly into his mouth, suckling softly on it, rolling and caressing his own tongue against hers in a frantic, loving dance. He broke the kiss, looking up at her, his chest heaving, his features tight and on edge. "This is for real, it's for life. Are you sure you want this, Molly?" She looked at him soberly. He had called her Molly... Raising herself up slightly, Molly answered Leland by positioning herself over his hard-on, rocking back slowly and deliberately when he was in place. Her slick, soft folds of skin enveloped him slowly, making him gasp at the sensation of tight, wet skin grasping him, flexing around him. Molly looked at him shyly, hesitating for a moment, and then allowed her self to sink down fully upon his shaft, the tip of his erection piercing the thin layer of her purity. Now there was no turning back... Molly cried out at the sharp pain that shot through her lower body suddenly and quickly. Leland's face softened as he scooped her up in his arms, her legs wrapped tightly around his hips, never losing contact. He laid her down beneath him on the bed and tenderly held her, keeping him self still as the pain subsided. "Are you alright, dearest?" he whispered huskily. Molly looked up at him with wide glistening eyes, reaching her hand up and caressing his cheek before nodding slightly. He looked at her with love, so much love as he very slightly withdrew his hips from contact with her body, gently pressing forward again, repeating this a few times. He slid back and then into her, her silken flesh driving him mad with desire and need, but his love which burned just as fiercely as his lust told him she needed him to be slow. He gently slid one hand up her stomach, under the folds of cotton from the t-shirt she still donned, grasping it from underneath, just below her breast, and ripping it cleanly away from her body. He wrapped his arms under her bent knees, supporting her shapely behind and hips as he raised their connected bodies off the bed, pinning her gently to the head board as he slid back in, each thrust pulling from her body a bit further, and coming back into her a bit faster. Molly's hands flew to Leland's back, her nails skating over his flesh with the threat of puncture at every flex of her slender fingers. Her whimpers became deep, excited moans as she urged him inside of her faster. Leland began to pick up his pace drastically, plunging in and out of Molly's body like a rapidly working piston. Molly's breasts bounced enticingly, he cries filling Leland's ears like sweet music. He brought his lips to hers with bruising force, one of her hands gliding up to tangle her fingers in his wavy locks of hair. He looked at her excitedly and Molly nodded, knowing they were both on the edge of completion. Leland threw back his head, howling long and loud, mingling his voice with Molly's satisfied cries. They trembled together, Leland's seed flowing into Molly in hot streams. The two of them collapsed against the bed, Molly still favoring her bitten leg, not even realizing she had been bleeding through the bandages from the effort it had taken to keep herself clutched to Leland. "Leland..." she whispered softly. He looked at her tenderly, smiling softly and then let his gaze go to where Molly was pointing. Gently he kissed her forehead and got up to get some more bandages. As he was re-dressing the wound, Molly watched him fondly. "Now what?" she asked. He shrugged while twisting some gauze around her calf. "We have two options. You have the cub that's growing inside of you as a human mother joined to a hybrid father, or you become hybrid yourself. But for now you need rest, this is a matter for daylight pondering." Leland climbed into bed beside her, laying his head on her chest and drifting off to sleep, and so Molly left the decision for morning. Hybrid Theory Ch. 01 Hello to whoever is reading this. This has been brewing in my head for a while (a few days), so here we go. If you feel that you want me to continue with the series after reading this, lemme know in the comments section. This story is something that was born in my head, any similarities to any other stories is a complete coincidence. Also, any similarities between my characters; and any people, living or dead, are also a coincidence. This is a story in which vampires and werewolves exist. However, every animal is represented. So for example, there are wereplatypuses, and they have anthropomorphic characteristics, as do all weres, including werewolves. There are also demons, and conversely, angels as well. I also decided to create my own world. Countries and continents are made up, but cars and clothing brands etc are not, so think of it as people living on Venus, driving Ferraris and shit. Also, I'm not going to be taking too much from classic vampire and werewolf law and shit, so no strangers randomly meeting and falling head over heels in love because they are 'Mates'. I may borrow a bit here and there, but by and large; it'll all be made up by me. Lastly, like with my 1st story, my characters won't be getting all hot and sweaty in the first couple chapters, as I want them to invoke some kind of emotion from the readers; be it love or hate. With that, I'm done. Enjoy. Dionysosk. * The city of Stern is the home to many different types of weres. Though there were many, each group had its own leaders, or Alphas. Werecats for example had an Alpha, much like werewolves. These groups were also at war with each other, for dominance over each other, but also for dominance over the city. There are however, 4 main groups which are the most powerful. There had been an ongoing agreement of sorts between the 4, and the city had been divided into four, in order to facilitate the agreement. As each group has a part of the city, no member from any of the other 4 groups could conduct business in the any of the other territories, without permission from the Alpha of the respective territories. This system had worked for the past 300 years, and it has only worked because each of the 4 Alphas are as powerful as the others, thus if a war were to breakout, there would be more casualties from a fight between the 4, than a fight between their respective groups. Because of this, they stayed out of each others' business, and allowed each to run their territory, and accumulate wealth as they saw fit, and as long as it did not interfere with the business of the others, they would be left to do their business in peace. These 4 powerful Alphas were referred to as "The Four Kings". Our focus however, is only on 1 member of TFK, who was really a queen, as she was the only female member. She was also a vampire, and an extremely powerful one at that. Her name was Angela Xavier. Angela Xavier was the leader of the Xavier Coven, a huge compound in which many vampire families, loyal to Angela, lived. Many worked for her, in her casinos and hotel chains, and such. Angela rarely smiled, and never laughed, even at really funny jokes. She was always serious, in a bad mood, and never shied away from being ruthless. She ruled with an iron fist, and anyone who disobeyed her, or the rules of the Coven, paid a heavy price. At 387 years old, she wasn't the oldest in her Coven, but was the most powerful. She had been the leader for 250 years, and since she came into power, the businesses grew from strength to strength, making hers; the most powerful vampire coven, thus earning her a spot as one of TFK. Angela had long since given up on ever finding anyone. She had to work twice as hard to get respect as a woman in a mans' world, and almost double that, as she was a female vampire, and doing that ensured that she never had time for herself. One night though, after coming back from her office, which was in her largest Casino, simply named 'Xavier', she thought she'd treat herself to a nice dinner. Once dressed to kill, she looked at herself in the mirror. Satisfied with how she looked, she hopped into her red Ferrari Testarossa, and headed into the city. Angela was a fast driver, and her Ferrari could certainly handle that. It was a supercar after all, with sharpened the handling, and hardened the suspension. She was driving out from the residential areas, when she decided not to take the highway, but the roads leading through the forest, as she had not been through the forest in a long time. She was driving along the winding road, with the cover of the forest on either side of her. The only form of light came from her headlamps. Her instincts were telling her that something was odd, and that she had to be cautious. She thought this meant that she was going to be attacked or something, so she slowly increased the pressure on the accelerator, and her Testarossa picked up speed. This however, turned out to be a mistake. A group of teenage werewolves was messing around, running through the forest, weaving between the trees, basically playing tag. They knew that the road that led through the forest was rarely used, and so they had decided to have their fun, assuming that no one would know they were there. They had been smoking the holy herb, and mixing that with Jack Daniels, and they were pretty buzzed, which slowed their reflexes quite a bit, however, that was part of the fun for them; their bodies reacting milliseconds later than their brains told them to. Angela kept driving at a higher speed than normal, and her Testarossa was barely breaking a sweat. All off a sudden, she noticed two figures darting across the road, but she instantly recognised them as werewolves, and was confident that they'd be able to dodge. When they didn't, and she realised that they had noticed her far too late, she was forced to take action. She turned the wheel, avoiding the first were, yet the 2nd one reacted far too slowly, which then forced her to turn the wheel in the opposite direction, causing her wheels to lock, and she started to slide. She tried to correct, but it was too late, and her car went screeching towards a tree, and hit it, drivers' side 1st, and wrapped itself around it. The teen weres were scared shitless, and fled from the scene, without even bothering to help. Angela knew she wasn't going to die, but unless she got some help, and quickly, the chances of her perishing would increase. With that thought still in her head, she lost consciousness, as the world turned black. Angela woke up in a bed, which she was sure was not her own. She waited for her eyes to adjust, before taking in her surroundings. She noticed that she was in a log cabin, or something very much like one. She was about to try and move, when the door to the room she was in opened and a man walked in. She looked at him, and instantly felt her heart melt, and butterflies populate her stomach. Here was a man, who stood at about 6'4", pretty tall. Short blonde hair, green eyes, prominent jaw, tall and square chin, something o'clock shadow, she couldn't tell. Medium lips that were drawn, a bold, strong nose, and a golden tan. He was her opposite in many ways. Although she too was tall, at 5'10", she was slim and pale. She had long black hair, pronounced cheekbones, thick, pursed lips, deep blue eyes, and was thin. She wasn't a supermodel, but those in her Coven told her she had a subtle beauty. This guys' beauty was anything but subtle! He was obviously, and ridiculously gorgeous. Gorgeous as he was, she wasn't going to let her guard down around him, as she didn't know if she had been rescued, or had been taken captive yet. But she noticed he was carrying a tray, with what looked like an English breakfast on it. "Ah, you're finally awake!" He said, flashing a mesmerising smile. "Yes. Where am I?" "You're in my home. I found you, wounded in a mangled up Ferrari. It took quite some effort to pull you out of that wreck. After I pulled you out, I brought you here, tended to your wounds, which healed pretty quickly on their own, and now here we are, 3 days later, and you're awake. I've brought you something to eat. You must be hungry. 'I'm starving! Thank goodness! Food! But wait, I can't let my guard down. It could be poisoned' "Well I'm sorry that you went through all that trouble, but I'm not hungry in the sligh—" GRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWLL!! Angela blushed furiously, as her stomach betrayed her. The man just laughed, and placed the food down on the bedside table, as she sat up. He then pulled up a chair, and sat next to her. He watched, as she scoffed down the meal; with the sounds of lips smacking; the occasional: 'Mmmmm!' and 'Yum!' She ate like a woman possessed. By the time she was finished, her saviour was surprised she hadn't eaten the plate, along with everything else. This thought made him laugh, and made Angela blush. This confused her, as for the 1st time in over 200 years, she blushed; not one, but TWICE. She had forgotten how it felt to be embarrassed. "Stop laughing at me. What's so funny?" she asked, slightly annoyed. He leant forward slightly, and looked her in the eyes. "You; you're funny." She blushed again, and he laughed again. "What's your name by the way? It's not often I bring home strange women who I find mangled up in car wrecks, whose names I don't know." "Oh? You don't OFTEN bring them home?" "No, I usually ask them their names first, and if they start with a 'C', only THEN do I bring them home!" His reply made her burst out laughing. She hadn't done that it, oh, well about the same amount of time since she last blushed. This made Gabriel flash a heart warming, defence splitting smile. "Now I must say, that's one beautiful laugh. It compliments your face perfectly." Angela blushed again, and almost died of embarrassment on the spot. "My word, I haven't blushed this much in over 200...in a very long time. My name is Angela, and you?" "Angela huh? Well, my name is Gabriel, and it's a pleasure to meet you." "It's a pleasure to meet you two. Thank you for saving me by the way. I probably would've recovered anyway, but thanks nonetheless." "You're welcome. Normally the strange women I bring home from car wrecks aren't as beautiful as you, so I really didn't mind at all!" They both laughed at his joke, and he stood up to leave. "Wait, where are you going?" "Don't you want to get some rest? You just woke up." "Um, yeah, but I'm fine. I'd prefer it if you stayed Gabriel" she said this, blushing and stuttering, and once again scolded herself for acting like a love sick school girl. Gabriel just looked at her, and smiled as he sat back down. "So tell me, what do you do?" He asked, while bringing his hand to her face, and wiping a bit of stray scrambled egg away with his thumb, causing her to smile. The defences she had been building up and fortifying for 250 years, the anger and resentment, the determination to fight, and remain part of TFK, all melted away, and was replaced with the desire to be with this mystery man called Gabriel, who had saved her from a car wreck. She proceeded to tell him everything about her, feeling that he had the right to know for some reason. He didn't judge or freak out in the slightest; he just accepted everything she said with a smile, and a squeeze of her hand. She didn't understand what she was feeling, which was understandable. For the 1st time in her near 400 year old life, she was in love. The need to maintain her defences seemed to disappear, and she forgot all about her Coven and her responsibilities as the Leader of that Coven, and her businesses. She just wanted to be with Gabriel. "Tell me about yourself Gabriel." "There's not much to tell really, ask me a specific question, and I'll answer." "How old are you?" "Much older than you." "How much older?" "I really don't know. I've been around for a terribly long time." This was the pattern for almost all of the Q & A sessions with Gabriel. He never did lie, but never did tell the whole truth, which should have worried Angela, but she was too busy being in love to care. They spent the next few weeks together, although he slept on the couch, she in his bed. They inevitably became closer and closer, and it wasn't long before they shared their 1st kiss. That was one of the most special moments in Angelas' life, and she got lost in the magic of it all. Forgetting that she was an all powerful vampire, she started cooking and cleaning, and when the urge to feed hit her, she'd just go into the forest, find an animal, and feed. She'd never take the animals' life, and if she hadn't had her fill, she'd find another one. With them growing closer and closer, it was only a matter of time before things went past just kissing, and they eventually found themselves in Gabriels' bed, making love for the 1st time. For some reason, they had bags of stamina, and their love making lasted for 3 days, and 3 nights. At the end, they proclaimed the love for each other. As weeks turned to months, life couldn't be better Angela. Her tummy had started to grow slightly, but she just attributed this to her eating more. She also found herself getting sick in the mornings, but also thought it was because of her diet. One thing she also noticed was that every night, before going to bed, Gabriel would get down on his knees beside their bed, and talk. Almost as though he was praying, but he was talking. One night, she decided to ask him about it. "Gabe, are you religious?" "Not exactly religious, I'm just...talking to The Boss, so to speak." He flashed his perfect smile, and pulled her into his arms, and she fell asleep quickly. Gabriel however, took longer to fall asleep, looking at his lover, he said. "They are coming my love. Our time together is almost over." And with that being said, he fell asleep. Over the coming weeks, Angela noticed Gabriel 'talking to The Boss' a lot more, and for a lot longer. They were still happy together, but Gabriel seemed to be distracted, yet at the same time, more attentive, and more loving. She loved the extra attention, so she paid his bizarre behaviour no mind. Her stomach also grew bigger and bigger. "Damn, I really have to go on a diet soon. This is getting ridiculous!" Gabriel just laughed at his lovers' adorable ignorance. He held her close and whispered in her ear "Angela, I want to make love to you tonight. I want to love you, like you've never been loved before." And with that scooped her up, carried her to the bedroom and made passionate love to her. Afterwards, he professed his undying love her as she fell asleep, and when she reciprocated, he fell into a deep sleep. Morning came, and Gabriel sensed them approaching. Shaking her awake he said firmly. "Angela? ANGELA!! Wake up Angela. Listen to me, they are here ok. Your competitors for your spot in TFK have found us here! I was hoping that they wouldn't , but now they have found this place, and have broken through the protective wards I placed around this house. We need to get dressed!" And with that, he got out of bed and started getting dressed. Angela did the same, although she was still confused. Once they were both dressed, he grabbed by the shoulders. "Listen Angela, here is the plan. We both go out the back, where I clear the path. If you head east on foot for about 2 hours, you should reach the same road I found you on. From there, go somewhere, anywhere, as long as you two are safe! Do you understand me Angela?" "You two? Two who? What are you talking about?" She asked, still rubbing the sleep out of her eyes with her fist. Gabriel groaned. "Oh come one Angela, please don't be cute right now, we're about to die! By you two, I mean you and the baby! You're pregnant ok! It was adorable watching you think you were getting fat, and blaming the morning sickness on 'A country diet' but we have no time for that now. You and the baby need to get out of here, like now. Do you remember the plan? I need you to remember!" "I remember, but this is still news to me. How can I be pregnant? I—" "NOW'S NOT THE TIME ANGIE!!" This snapped Angie out her daze, and the severity of the situation finally sunk in. "Ok, if I'm pregnant than, we really...wait a minute, in this plan of yours, why aren't you with us in this getting to safety bit? Where are you—" "We don't have time for this. I have to hold them off, or else you won't make it." "No! I won't leave without you! I'd rather stay and fight alongside you. I'm still strong enough to fight!" "Yeah? But what about our baby? I'm staying so that he and you can have a life. You are a parent now Angie. You have to put our baby 1st, as am I. If I were to go with you, then I'd lose both of the things I love the most in this world. If I stay, I lose neither. Now we're out of time. The vampires are almost upon us, and we need to move, ok? Are you ready? Let's do this." Angela refused to cry in front of Gabriel. Here he was about to die for her and her baby. The last thing he needed was a hysterical, crying woman to slow him down. As he was about to open the door, he grabbed her by the shoulders, and gave her one last, deep, passion filled kiss. When the kiss broke, he looked her in the eyes. "I love you so much Angela. These past few months have been the best I have ever spent on earth. Thank you." With that, he opened the back door, and there were 6 vampires, from Angelas' rival Coven, The Obraniak Coven. They had been at war over the position in TFK for centuries, and Angela consistently bested the leader of the Obraniak Coven, Marius Obraniak. He didn't like her in the slightest, feeling that her place was on her back, with him between her legs. Of course, Angela disagreed, and thus they became bitter rivals. "Obraniak!" she screamed, her vampire powers activating, and her eyes turned black as sin, as she powered up. The months of peace she spent Gabriel had weakened her, but she was still immensely powerful. Gabriel doubled over, and crossed his arms across his chest. He let out a grunt of exertion, as two huge, pure white wings came out from his back, and a golden light shone from the heavens. The wings flapped once, and he zipped up into the sky. He then faced the 6 vampires blocking Angela, and pumped his arms in their direction. He crossed his arms at the wrists, and curved his fingers inwards, keeping his palms empty. Golden streaks of lightning pulsed, as two orbs started to form in his hands, growing larger, and the lightning streaks grew more violent. As the orbs reached their peaks, Gabriel steadied himself in the air. "Divine Retribution" Two huge beams; bulleted from his palms. They were gold on the outside, and pure white in the middle, and the careened towards the vampires. The 6 had been focusing too much and Angela, and noticed too late that the real threat was Gabriel. Before they could raise their defences, they were obliterated, being blasted into dust. Gabriel moved his arms apart, the beams still blasting, as he destroyed the surrounding area, to create chaos, and a screen for Angela to escape. Once his blast ended, he flew down to Angela, who was still shocked. "Before you ask, yes I'm an angel. I'm still surprised you didn't figure it out. My name is Gabriel, when I prey, I say I'm speaking to my Boss, and I'm much, MUCH older than you! Then again, you couldn't even figure out that you were pregnant. How on earth did you successfully lead a Coven, and become filthy rich? Anyway, it's about time you got going. Me dying really doesn't mean anything, because whether live or die, I'm still headed to the same place. Anyway, I'll be going 1st. I'll see you there my love." With that, he flapped his wings; and flew straight towards the remaining vampires. Angela turned around, and ran as quickly as she could into and through the forest. Her reflexes and speed greatly increased, she motored through, and found herself making good ground. She could still hear the sounds of battle behind her, however they were slowly dying down, and eventually, they stopped completely. Angela felt a stabbing pain in her heart, and broke down while running. She let out a wail of pure agony, as for the first time in her near 400 years; she lost her reason to smile. She had never had one before, so the fact that it disappeared so quickly was agonising for her. She tried to be strong, but her legs gave way, and she came crashing down. She lay there on the floor, and her cries would have broken even the hardest of hearts in two, and caused eyes without tear ducts to leak. Hybrid Theory Ch. 01 She remembered her child though, and that she didn't have time to mourn the loss of her love. She got up, and resumed her run to the road. She finally reached the road. It was around midday when she reached it. She decided to wait, and try catch a lift, rather than run, and scare the cars off by running past them. She hoped one would arrive quickly though, as there was no telling when Obraniaks' vampires would catch up. A car finally came, and stopped. "Where might you be going Miss?" asked the elderly gentleman, driving the car. "Into the city please." "Sure thing sweetness" He smiled, and noticed her eyes were puffy and red. "What's wrong angel?" and the sound of the word, she burst into tears again. The remaining months of Angelas' pregnancy were spent on the run. She had sold all of her assets besides her compound, and her casino. She put the bulk of it into 1 account, and the remainder into another. She stayed at cheap hotels, and wore cheap clothes, disguising herself completely from Obraniaks' thugs. She eventually looked up two old friends, who had moved out of her Coven about 150 years ago. They were old vampires, and were going to die soon, however, they had been experts in hand to hand combat, as well as vampire combat techniques, and she decided her child had to learn to defend itself from the best. She approached their door, and rang the bell. The door opened. "Angie? Angie, is that you?! Oh my, everyone says that you've been missing for months! What's going on? Wait a minute, are you pregnant?! Oh my word!!" The old female vampire Wynne said, giddy and excited, having completely forgotten about what she said first. "Yes, well, I'll explain everything inside. I have a huge favour to ask of you as well." "Of course, please, come inside." Once inside, Angela told Wynne and Paul absolutely everything that happened to her over the past year, about Gabriel, what he was and everything. They were truly shocked, but were warm and supportive as well. "So what's this favour you need?" asked Paul. "I need you to raise my child as your own. I've sold all my assets besides my compound and casino, and deposited the money into two accounts. One is for you two, but the account with most of the money is for the child." "What?! You're joking right? You know how old we are. We're nearing the end, why would you—" "Please! There's no telling where and when Obraniaks' men might attack, and you two are the best when it comes to hand to hand and vampire combat techniques. Please, I have no one else to turn to! Plea—"Angela froze. "Angie, what's wrong?" "My water just broke Wynne, my child is coming, and it's coming right now!" "Ok, ok, just calm down. Paul dear, please fetch me a dish full of water, fresh clean towels, and a bottle of Scotch." "Scotch?! What's Scotch got to do with child birth?!" "Shut up and get me what I asked for!" "Ok,ok, I'll be right back." Paul left, and came back with all the requested items. "Here you go! Now if you'll excuse me, I don't handle blood very well!" "What the hell Paul? How the hell did you survive all these centuries then?" Angela laughed between gasps. "I closed my eyes, and told myself it was an iron flavoured milkshake!!" "I can see how that would work." Angela giggled, and screamed, and the contractions hit. "Don't worry Angie; you're in good hands with Wynne. The old bag'll deliver your baby just fine." And with that, Paul left the room. Many hours and blood curdling screams later, the crying of a baby was heard. Paul got up, and rushed into the room, to see Angela holding a gorgeous baby boy. He had her jet black hair and blue eyes, but was a handsome little man. The moment the little baby burped, and flashed a tiny smile, everyone in the room fell in love with him. Paul leaned in close, and pointed to himself. "Here's Grandpa! Here's Grandpa! There's Grandma! There's Grandma!" he said, pointing Wynne. "And here's mommy." Angela said breathlessly. "Angela; we'll raise the boy, not as our son, but as our grandson. He will know who his mother is. What's the boys name then?" "Gabriel; Gabriel Xavier." "Now then, let me leave, so that my dear grandson Gabriel can get something to eat." And Paul left the room again. The following 3 days, Paul couldn't get over spending time with Gabriel. Every chance he got to hold him, he did. He truly was a Grandpa. Wynne had to calm him down, and tear him away from Paul so he could feed and rest. Every time Gabriel went to sleep, Paul became bored and depressed. Angela knew that Gabriel was in good hands, and that strengthened her resolve, as she had decided what to do. On the night of the 3rd day, when everyone was asleep, Angela walked into Gabriels' room to say goodbye. As she neared the crib, Pauls' voice startled her. "So you're going to do it huh? You realise that going to the Obraniak Coven isn't going to Bring Gabriel back right?" "As much as losing him hurt, this isn't about Gabriel. This is about ensuring that my son has a childhood and a shot at life. Both those things are impossible as long as I'm around him, and as long as I live. I've lived for 388 years, and that's long enough. In that final year, I've experienced more joy and sorrow than in the preceding 387. There is nothing in this world I love more than this little boy Paul, and if sacrificing my life means that he'll have a chance at living a full life, then it's my duty as a mother to do so, and give my son every chance t living." With that, she walked up to the crib, bent over, and kissed Gael on his tiny forehead. "I love you my darling boy. Grow up strong and happy." Angela then left Gabriels room, with tears in her eyes, and made her way over to the front door. She stopped in the doorway, and without looking back said. "Thank you Paul. Tell Wynne I said so. I love you both." And with that, Angelas' eyes turned black, and she disappeared. Angela arrived at the Obraniak Coven at 4 am, fully prepared to die. She didn't even announce her arrival, as she moved super speed, and ripped out the throats of both the gate guards. She drank the blood straight from their wounds, and her eyes glowed red, and her power and energy grew. She was still a powerful vampire, and part of TFK, so she would die like both. Sprinting up the drive way, she made her way into the courtyard and yelled "OBRANIAK!! YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ME, AND HERE I AM! COME DO YOUR WORST!" Vampires came bursting out of the shadows, and came flying towards her. She was dodging and evading blows, all the while, slicing and stabbing, decapitating, pulling hearts out of chests, going crazy. The more she killed, the more would pop up, and when their blows started landing at more regular intervals, she jumped, and did a back flip onto the roof of a house, legs and feet together, and eyes closed. When she opened her eyes, blood came gushing out of her pores, and formed two ribbons, twirling together upwards into the sky. Once enough had left her body, she pointed her right arm downwards at the group of vampires, with her hand open, and fingers straight. Her eyes glowed red. "Bloody Rain" She closed her fist. Thousands of tiny crystalline blood needles came raining down on the group, piercing all of them, and heavily damaging them. She started running on the rooftops of the houses in Obraniaks' compound. As she ran, another group of vampires emerged from their homes, and charged towards her. She leapt up into the air "Bloody Wave" All the crystalline needles became liquid again, and a massive tidal wave of blood crashed into the group, and washed them away. After this, she jumped, and continued her ascent on the ground. As she reached Obraniaks' mansion, a 3rd group of vampires emerged. Angela was low on blood, but refused to give up. "Bloody Fists" Blood gushed out of her again, and formed four arms, with four huge fists. She continued to press forwards, her own two arms used for offence, and the four Bloody Arms used for defence, she punched, threw, smashed and trounced her way through, however, their numbers were too many, and her blood reserves were too low. The arms slowly started becoming weaker, and smaller, and eventually, they exploded, and blood splashed on the floor. Two vampires drove their hands through her, and two hands jutted out from her stomach. This didn't stop her though, as she kept walking towards the mansion. Two more sliced on either side of her neck, blood spurting and spraying, as though her neck was a fountain. Her legs wobbled, and she almost lost her balance, but kept walking. As dawn approached, she looked up to see Marius standing on his balcony in a rope, holding a glass of wine. He just smirked as he looked at her. "OBRAAANIIIAAAAAAAAK!!!" She screamed, before two vampires drove their hands into her chest, and they went clean through. She coughed, and blood flew out her mouth, as she was dying. All of a sudden, everything turned white. She looked around, and she was still in Obraniaks' compound, but the sky was white. All of a sudden a golden figure appeared. She looked at it, and recognised it instantly. "Gabriel?" she asked, tears streaming from her eyes. "Yes my love, in the flesh; well, so to speak" He flashed that smile that made her heart melt a year ago. "What are you doing here?" "Well, it's nice to see you too! Yes, I did have a haircut. And yes, this is a genuine halo, thanks for asking!" "Gabriel! I'm dying here! Sorry if I didn't notice your haircut. Now what are you doing here?" "Hmph; no sense of humour. Anyway, remember when I said how whether I lived or died, I was going to the same place, and that I'll see you there? Well the fact that you just gave your life for son kinda tipped the scales in your favour. Since our first kiss, I had kinda been asking The Boss to let you come up and be with me. It was touch and go for a while, but you dying for your son kinda swayed His decision, and when He offered me the chance to come pick you up, I jumped at the chance. So my love, are you ready to go?" Gabriel asked, as he extended his hand to her. "Yes!" Angela said, tears gushing out of her eyes, and she smiled; a smile that could have mended the most broken heart, and dried tears escaping from any eye. She took his hand, and they flew up together. "You know, The Boss'll be happy you're finally coming. I've bugging Him nonstop about you!" "That sounds just like you Gabe..." And with that, Angelas' body went limp, however the smile never left her face. Paul and Wynne sat together in the kitchen, and Pauls coffee mug cracked, and split in two. They both understood what that meant. Wynne sobbed openly, while Paul showed a stiff lip. The tears still escaped his eyes though. At that moment, Gabriel woke up, crying in a way that either had ever heard him cry, and they knew he knew his mother was gone. 19 years later : Paul swung left and right hooks, being easily evaded and blocked. He tried a spin kick, but was countered by another spin kick, which was started just after his, mimicking the exact motion, and it connected, sending Paul spinning in the opposite direction his kick came from. "Bloody Pellets" Cried Wynne, as tiny pellets of crystalline blood went flying towards him. "Bloody Shield" He held up his left arm, on which a huge shield formed, that easily stopped the pellets. He raised his right arm, and pointed it at Wynne "Bloody chains" And crystalline chains of blood bound Wynnes' body, and she fell to the ground. He then leapt, doing a back flip, avoiding Pauls' surprise attack. He landed, and then took a long stride forward with his left leg, and planted it, bringing his hands from behind him and clapping, the resulting shockwave causing Paul to go flying into the fence. With that he stood straight, and relaxed. He faced Wynne. "Release!" The chains turned into blood again, and he inhaled, as all the blood he used, all flowed right back through his pores. "Damn Gramps, you sure you're not getting old? That seemed to be easier than tying my shoe! Hy-uk!" he laughed as he smacked his knee. He then turned to Wynne. "You ok Grandma?" "I'm fine thanks sweetie." She replied with a sweet smile. "Why don't go and get changed Gabriel? Your lift to college will be here soon." "Sure thing Gramps!" And he left to go get changed. When in his room, he changed out of his training attire, into his sleeveless black tee, slightly baggy black jeans, black Nike high top kicks, and a black custom made sleeveless coat that reached all the way down to his heels. It flared at his ass, and jutted out, curving around. From his waist, it opened up into a V, which fanned out. Once he buttoned it up, leaving the top 2 buttons open, grabbed his luggage, and waited for the cab. "That boy is ridiculously strong. He's the only vampire I've ever seen who can use two techniques at the same time! As well as the only vampire with a tan, and a sense of humour. He must've gotten those from his father." "And now he's going off to college. Angie would've been so proud." Paul and Wynne stood with their arms around each other, looking at their grandson. "I know that she is. Both her and Gabriel." * So, this is the end of the first part. Lemme know how you feel about it in the comments section. Thanks a bunch!!! ~CA1605 The morning sun filtered in through the open window around seven that morning. Molly stretched lazily, relishing in the feeling one gets after sleep, just before really waking. That is, she stretched until a twinge in her leg caused her to yelp in pain, and remember the previous night's events. She looked around, and saw that Leland was no longer anywhere to be found. At first she wondered at this, and then out of curiosity she called to him with her mind. -Honey, where are you? -I'm coming, nearly back to the cabin. We have trouble... -Leland, what kind of trouble? Molly felt a tingle in the back of her mind and she knew Leland had broken their connection. The front door banged open, Leland coming through it looking somber and winded. "My first mate is here." Molly tried to wrap her thoughts around this. "Wha-what?!?" she stammered. Leland was out of breath, bent over supported with his hands on his knees. "I said my first mate is here! Her name was Olivia, is Olivia! She was awful. She would kill... tear into things. Anything tender, living, breathing! She was shot with a silver bullet by a farmer whose daughter Olivia had torn apart in her own Milk barn. I thought she was dead. I thought she was..." Leland shuddered, slumping against the door, gasping for breath. "She knows I've been with someone else. Wolves and their mates have certain... senses about what their partner is up to. She must have blocked me from her thoughts because I haven't sensed her in over two years. There's only one way to protect you. I'm so sorry love but you no longer have a choice..." Leland grabbed Molly by the hand, yanking her up off the bed and throwing her over his shoulder. He began to run, lithe and determined out the door and into the woods. He didn't stop until he had the two of them in the middle of a clearing. Molly looked around, her stomach still writhing from bouncing around over Leland's shoulder. They were surrounded by stone markers, about three feet high and placed evenly apart in a circle. Leland was standing with her directly in the middle of this circle on a stone pedestal. "I'm sorry Molly, Love. I have to turn you now." Molly looked at Leland, confused. "I thought you had to do that under a full moon!" she exclaimed. Leland shook his head. He reached out one of his big, strong hands for her, whispering into her ear how sorry he was. Molly looked up into his eyes, trying to understand, when Leland sank his teeth into her shoulder. Molly felt her body loosen, like her entire life force was breaking apart and rearranging. The pain coursing through her was too much to handle, and so just when she thought she would die of it, everything went black. The last thing she heard was Leland's voice. "Olivia, no!" Leland let Molly fall to the pedestal they were standing on as he placed himself between her and the prowling woman on the edge of the tree line. She was still as beautiful and as deadly as she had been when he last saw her, eyes flashing in fear as she was shot down in mid change. "I didn't know you were alive, Liv..." Leland said, holding his hands out defensively. "Don't try to explain to me! You did not try to rescue me. You did not check to see if I had died, and you did not avenge me!" "You shut off the connection, I felt you die!" "That idiot farmer didn't use a silver bullet; he used a silver plated bullet! When he fired it, part of the silver was scraped off of the bullet and its debilitating powers were diminished." "Liv, leave her alone!" "You know the rules, now lie down and obey me or suffer..." "Liv, she isn't strong enough yet!" "Then I suppose you did her a grave injustice by turning her, now stay!" Leland felt the power of his first mate envelope him. He struggled, looking desperately at Molly, lying helplessly on the pedestal, fighting against Olivia's power over him. "See, now isn't that just a pain that unlike wolves, werewolves are a matriarchal social pack? Don't worry, Leland, I won't kill her... yet" Molly opened her eyes to find a woman, stealthy and lean, crouched and circling the pedestal she lay on. She was completely naked, her clothes tossed beneath Leland's nose. He was on the ground on all fours, writhing and struggling as if bound. The woman in front of her was incredible. Her body was all muscle, lean pure muscle. Her chestnut brown hair flowed down her back, just brushing the top of her perfect bottom. Her breasts when she turned to face Molly were the perfect size, not too large or too small. They looked to be about a 34C. "So, you have awoken!" Olivia ran one deadly, extended claw between Molly's breasts. "Now the fun begins." Olivia struck Molly hard, splitting her lip, her blows working down lower and lower on Molly's body. She heard a rib crack and realized where the next strike would land. Writhing furiously, wishing for some way to break free, to cover her abdomen. "Not the cub!" she cried out. Olivia stepped back as if she had been slapped herself. Her perfectly painted ruby lip curled back to reveal a deadly canine in her sneer. She turned on Leland, storming over to him and placing a boot in his back, the spiked heel working down against his spine. "You gave to her what you could not give to me! You would create life with another while your mate searched for you for two years? You Bastard!" She cocked her leg back, kicking Leland in his exposed midsection. Molly let her tears roll freely down her face, looking to Leland to get up, to be strong. Her anger welled as Olivia turned and looked her in the eye. "I will not leave you with a happiness I was never allowed!" She seethed. "You will never have a cub and you will never have my mate!" Olivia stalked toward her, growling and flashing claws from both of her fore-paws. At first Molly was terrified. She knew the pup, and she, was not going to make it through this attack. "You have to fight her!" Leland howled miserably. He was shaking with strain, pulling at the invisible bonds and mentally fighting Olivia's control. "Those are the rules, if you want to take over her mate; you have to assert your dominance over her!" Olivia turned back and snarled at him. "Shut up! You are mine and I order you, shut up!" Anger coursed throughout Molly's body. She could feel all of her muscles roiling beneath her skin. Olivia reached down, grabbing her by the throat. "I will give you dominance." She threw Molly to her knees, pressing her boot to the back of Molly's neck until Molly had her forehead to the ground. Olivia knelt behind Molly, grinning wickedly as she slid a finger along Molly's bared slit. "I can make your very own body betray you. You hate me, and yet soon your body will be doing what I will it to, not what you tell it to and I don't need to use fear for this!" She slipped a finger into Molly's snatch, her claws having shrunk back to human nails. She sawed in and out of Molly, stroking gently at the button she knew would trigger Molly's embarrassing betrayal of her body against her mind. Every now and again she brushed Molly's swelling clit with her thumb. Molly squirmed to get away at first, but slowly a blush rose up Molly's body as she became wet. She looked imploringly at Leland, apologizing with out words. Her body began to rock into the thrust of Olivia's finger, a deep growl rumbling up from inside her chest. Suddenly, Olivia pinned Molly with her body and whispered into her ear. "You see what I can do? I can get my fingers into you and change, I can change my self, and I can change your whole world. I can take away everything you love because you can't control your lust!" Molly felt panic through her body. She knew Olivia would tear her apart, starting with the act of aborting her and Leland's pup. She felt that rolling, twisting feeling as her muscles wound up tight as springs, her teeth peeked from beneath her lips and suddenly she could see the tiniest details, smell everything right down to Olivia's excitement. She was a Werewolf... She yanked her wrists apart, snapping the rope around them like it were nothing, and breaking her ankles free as well. Springing to her feet, she felt Olivia fly off her back, sprawling onto the ground. Molly looked at Leland still struggling, and knew she had to get him free. She grabbed Olivia by the hair, dragging her to one of the stone markers, bending her over it. "You will not take my pup away from us!" Molly snarled. She kept Olivia's hair wrapped around her fist as she slowly yanked the brown tank top off of the feisty brunette. Her pert, beautiful breasts bounced free, dangling over the cold stone she was on. Molly hiked up the matching brown leather skirt to Olivia's hips, bringing her open hand down over Olivia's pale, milk white bottom. "You have been a naughty, naughty doggy, and I think you need to learn a lesson!" Molly sneered. She bent forward, and clamped her mouth around Olivia's neck. She struggled; knowing if she stopped struggling it would mean defeat. Molly pressed her fingers slowly between Olivia's legs, flicking her tender little jewel. Olivia gasped, a low moan escaping her lips. Her struggling kept on, but she weakened a bit. Molly suddenly had a thought. "Leland, is she in control because she was your first mate, or because she's dominant?" She looked back at him, still stroking Olivia's clit, slipping a finger into her every so often. Leland struggled to answer, but he could not. Molly figured anything was worth a try. "Well, love, I am dominant now, so I demand you get up and come to me." Leland looked as if he were still struggling against bonds, until he stood and walked completely in shock to where both of his mates were. "I need you to kneel behind her darling." Molly said, smoothing his hair back as he leaned into her. He nodded, kneeling near his first mate's ass. Molly plunged her finger deeply into Olivia, stroking her insides. She got in front of her, still clutching a fistful of Olivia's hair, and took one of her nipples in her mouth. She began to suckle, drawing Olivia into her mouth, caressing her with her tongue. She made ye contact with Leland "Do it... she has to submit." Leland leaned forward and ran his tongue along Olivia's now dripping slit. Molly sat up, bringing Olivia's mouth to her own perky nipples. Olivia snarled between moaning low in her chest, and turned her head from Molly. Molly smirked and reached around Olivia and the stone she was bent over, down between her legs and began to flick at her clit again. Leland began to push his tongue into Olivia's dripping cunt, spanking her ass with loud 'SMACK' noises as he ravaged her. Molly offered herself to Olivia's moaning mouth once more, and Olivia opened her lips, suckling Molly gently. Molly clamped her teeth over Olivia's throat, and Olivia went stock still. Molly stood up, looking at Leland who immediately followed her example. "Leave us, now. If I have to show you who is dominant ever again, I will not be so pleasant. That may have been humiliating, but next time you will die." Molly sneered. She turned to walk away and found Olivia cowering at her feet. "Please, my insides are burning! Do not leave me this way. I'll do anything!" Leland and Molly exchanged glances. "Anything?" Hybrid Theory Ch. 02 Greetings and salutations; I know that it has been a while since my last update, and for that I apologize, I'd also like to thank those who still maintain an interest in my shit, as well as a SPECIAL and MASSIVE thank you for those still interested in THIS story in particular. I know it's been over a year, and for those who have been waiting, thank you so fucking much for still being interested. There have been a few minor changes to the story, but you'll notice them as this chapter continues, as they are pretty obvious changes. The changes don't really affect the story, but hey, you'll still notice them. Pathetically short foreword over with, let's get straight into it. * Gabe had been living a terribly sheltered life, which was more out of fear of losing him than anything else really. Wynne and Paul had grown increasingly attached to Gabe, and Wynne had somehow always managed to convince Paul that it was too much of a risk to let Gabe out of the property – a belief that Paul didn't necessarily share, but he understood his wife's feelings as they had never had any children of their own, so the 19 years in which they had been taking care of Gabe were some of the happiest of their lives, and it wasn't too hard to figure out that Wynne wanted to keep him with them as long as possible. He was also home schooled, so his going to college was something he had to fight tooth and nail for, as he was sick and tired of being cooped up in the house, and wanted to go out into the world, make friends, make enemies, get into fights, drive, get drunk, get high, get bitches and get laid. His grandparents had actually seen through all the phony reasons that he had given with regard to why he wanted to leave home, and after Paul had finally gotten Wynne to loosen her grip on Gabe and allow the boy to start living his own life, things started looking better for Gabe. So he applied for, and got accepted into the college in the city. This meant that Gabe was finally going to be able to live his dream life, an in general, get more life experience, as he was the first to admit that he was painfully ignorant, as he had ben living in that house for 19 years, and had no contact with anyone other than his Gramps and Grandma. Now in the present, Gabe stood in his rather dorky bedroom which was adorned with posters of half-naked women, race cars and pictures of himself and his Grandparents. What made the room dorky was not the content itself, but rather the number of posters, which just made it seem like he was trying to overcompensate for something, which he was. Gabe was looking at himself in the mirror. He was about 6'2, but always said that he was slightly taller in a bid to impress 'bitches', as he so regularly referred to women as, thinking that it was cool and 'gangsta'. He had a natural tan, short black hair that he spiked up, and blue eyes. He was also clean shaven. He was virtually a carbon copy of his father; he just had different coloured hair and eyes. He was in tremendous shape, which was vastly due to the Spartan training regime which he was put through by his Grandparents. Gabe just stood there, looking at himself, before smiling, and making all sorts of facial expressions; smiling, winking, licking his lips, etc. Then all of sudden he became stiff and rigid, and looked at the mirror with the best bedroom eyes he could muster. "Hey there baby..." he said, in a husky voice a few octaves lower than his normal one. "...name's Gabe. You must be wearing space pants, cos yo' ass is outta this world!" He then winked and kissed the air, before flexing his right arm, and making his pecks dance. He then gave his own variation of a 'Pimp Laugh'. Wynne and Paul stood in the doorway, looking at this kid put on one of the most embarrassing attempts at picking up a woman either had seen in their near thousand year long lives. Paul just looked up to the heavens and face palmed himself with an audible sigh, and Wynne's shoulders just sagged, as she closed her eyes and shook her head. "Good God, this kid is such a dork! 'Space pants?' Come on..." Paul said to himself, more than anyone else. Wynne just nodded in agreement with the statement. Just then. Gabe then saw them in the mirror and snapped his head around, still in his pose, at lightning speed, face beet red in embarrassment. "Gramps! Grandma! What the hell?! Don't you know how to knock?!" "Why should we knock when the door is wide open? Besides, knocking would have made absolutely no difference, because we still would've seen you." "W-w-w-well, what do you want then?" Gabe said, still embarrassed as hell, but quickly turning his head away from them and clearing his throat and stopping his pose. He then walked away from the mirror and headed towards his bed, where his bag was open and some items of clothing were folded, but still had to be placed in the bag. "We're here, because we want to discuss a few things with you." "Oh yeah? What kinda things Gramps?" Gabe said in a slightly high pitched voice, still embarrassed about being caught while practicing one of his smoothest pick up lines, while haphazardly throwing the clothes into the bag, just doing it for the sake of doing it. "Your parents." This made Gabe pay instant attention, and stop what he was doing. His cheeks went back to normal, and he turned around to face his grandparents. His face was serious, and he sat down on the bed. "What about them?" "Well, as you know, your mother was a Vampire, and your father was a human. Normally, this kind of union isn't a bad thing, but your mother was actually a very powerful vampire, therefore it was seen as a bad thing. She—" Gabe stood up from his bed and walked towards his grandparents. He walked up to them with his head down the entire time, and this worried Paul. 'What? Has he seen through our story? Shit, will I have to—' Gabe's head then shot up with speed, and revealed a large and goofy looking grin on his face. He then started laughing rather loudly, which caused Paul to flinch ever so slightly, with his left hand on his hips, and he repeatedly crashed his right hand on his Gramps' shoulder. "Oh come on Gramps! I already know all this, as well as what you're getting at!" Gabe carried on laughing for a bit longer before placing his hands gently on Paul' shoulders, and looking reassuringly into his eyes. "Don't tell anyone my last name even when asked, and if by some way they manage to figure out what it is, just claim that Angela Xavier and I share a last name, and that's all that we share, right?" Paul smiled at Gabe with a look of pride in his eyes. Even though Gabe was rarely serous, and his naivety and ignorance were often apparent in how he handled everyday situations, he was still surprisingly mature and wise for some one who had been sheltered all his life. "I take it by that look on your face that I'm correct. Looks Gramps, I'm not stupid. I know that my mother was an important person. The biggest issue here is that I only have two sources from which I can get info on my mother, and since my mother is such a delicate subject, I can't just go around speaking to every Tom, Dick and Harry trying to verify whether or not you two are telling me the whole truth bout my parents, therefore, I'll just have to trust you, which I do. Now it's your turn to trust me to live my own life. You two are my grandparents, and I love you, but I've reached a point in my life where I need to live. For 19 years, I've been like a caged bird, with my only link to the world being TV and the internet. I've only had you two for company, and as much as I loved the Spartan life style (Gabe shuddered at the quick recollection of the punishment and training he received), I think it's about time I got out there on my own, and lived the champagne life style I've yearned for. All I ask is that you not only trust me, but trust that you raised me correctly." Gabe then took his hands off Paul's shoulders and walked back to the bed, before carrying on with his terrible attempt at packing his bags. Paul stood there, slightly overwhelmed by the speech that Gabe had just given him, and was feeling rather guilty that he and Wynne hadn't told him the entire truth about his family. Just then, Wynne walked past him and up to Gabe, who was secretly doing the job so badly he was hoping that Wynne would finish it off for him. When he felt her hand on his, he looked towards her with a blank expression on his face, when he really was doing fist pumps in his mind because he knew he had succeeded. He then stepped away, and watched as Wynne tossed his clothes out of the bag, and start folding and packing them away. "You know Gabriel, these past 20 years have been amongst the most enjoyable that Paul and I have ever experienced during our very long lives. We have also trained quite a lot of vampires over the years, and I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that you are most definitely the most talented person that I have ever trained. You do things that I've never seen another do and that, I think, comes from your mother. However, you have something that every other vampire I've ever come across lacks, and that is a warmth and kindness that has the ability to affect those around you. I've seen it affect your mother, Paul, as well as animals as well, and I have no doubt that it will also affect the people that you meet in the future. Maybe we took the sheltering a bit too far, but you will find that everything we have done, has been for your future and your well being." Wynne then felt an arm go around her shoulders and when she looked, up she saw Gabe grinning at her just like he was at Paul. She then smiled back at him sweetly, and continued to fold and back his clothes, having completely seen through his plan to get her to pack his bags for him. "Oh, and one more thing sweetie." "Hmmm? What is it Grandma?" "If you want to live your 'champagne lifestyle', then I suggest you don't reveal that you still wear underwear with superheroes on them." Wynne then held up Gabe's pair of Marvelous Mastodon boxers, which then made him blush, and look away. "B-be quiet Grandma! Marvelous Mastodon is cool, no matter how old you are!" Paul then spoke from behind him. "It'd also do you well to re evaluate your, what do you call it again, your mick? Slick?" "MACK!!" Gabe screamed in anger, as he turned back sharply. "Ah, that's right; Mack. Well, yours sucks kid. What was that shitty line you were saying earlier, 'Space socks?' "PANTS! IT'S SPACE PANTS you old bastard! What do you know about macking bitches anyway?! You're like a thousand years old!" This line only served to annoy Paul. "What was that you brat?! At least I have experience when it comes to macking bitches! You're just a Marvelous Mastodon boxer wearing virgin, whose only experience is with his right hand!" Gabe then looked down, and turned his body around slowly, fists clenched and body shaking slightly. Paul thought he was getting pissed off, until Gabe suddenly snapped his head up, revealing rivers of tears streaming down his cheeks, and a half sad, half angry expression on his face. "Well whose fault is it that I'm still a virgin! You're the ones who kept me locked up here in the country; far away from civilization, and other people! If I had gone to school like a normal kid, I would've had a never ending TRAIN of bitches in this house!" "PUH-LEEEEEEEEZE!! Never ending train of bitches?! The only bitches you'd get are the ones that will follow you home if you pet them on the head, and feed them a doggy treat!" "What was that you old bastard?! You better watch yourself, before I put your geriatric ass in a home!" Gabe said, bringing a shaking, clenched fist up to his face and sniffing. Paul just looked directly into Gabe's eyes, as his fury and anger grew. He then brought his hands up and started clicking and cracking his fingers, as his eyes started turning black. "What was that you ungrateful, bratty little snot nosed virgin? Come closer and say that again!" Just as Gabe started approaching, Wynne walked in-between the both of them, and jumped up, extending both her legs fully and perfectly straight, performing the splits in midair and spun, catching each of them on the cheek, sending both Paul and Gabe spinning and twisting about. Both skillfully caught it in midair though, and sorted themselves out, landing on their feet, looking at Wynne and screaming at the same time. "Wynne!" "Grandma!" "Quiet! Gabe is leaving today, and all you two can do is argue about something so trivial!" They then both stammered, trying to get in a word to defend themselves, but Wynne just gave each an evil eye so fearsome and powerful, that both just cowered. "S-sorry 'bout that..." "Yeah Gramps, ditto..." Wynne then smiled, and her face went back to one of a sweet old lady. She then looked over to Gabe. "Oh, and Gabriel, another thing that would help greatly in your conquest of women is if you stopped referring to them as 'bitches' and please, for the love of all that is Holy dear, please stop the walking with a Pimp Lean? You aren't a Pimp. Stop trying to walk like one." Gabe then looked at Wynne with disbelief all over his face, before standing tall, and picking up his now packed and closed bag, since he landed near his bed. He then slung the large bag over his shoulder and walked slowly with a Pimp Lean past Paul and Wynne into the hallway, before looking back at them, looking for a positive sign. They both disapprovingly shook their heads in unison, which broke Gabe's heart. But he was defiant in his belief that the Pimp Lean was the 'shizznit' and refused to let their disapproval dishearten him. He then continued walking towards the kitchen, where he planned on fixing himself a quick snack before he had to leave. He wasn't really hungry, but after being forced to go to bed without dinner on many a night due to his not correctly performing a technique, Gabe planned on getting one over on Paul by eating as much food as he possibly could before leaving. If he needed an excuse, he could always state that the length of his upcoming journey into the city would leave him famished if he didn't get something to eat now. As he started walking over towards the fridge, he heard a car hooting and he turned around sharply to find Paul standing there with a smug look on his face. "I figured you were going to do something like this, so I actually had the cab driver waiting on standby by the time we went into your room. Consider this punishment for being a pain in the ass for close to 20 years you brat." Gabe turned around, and narrowed his eyes at Paul in faux anger, before laughing; knowing that he couldn't even use his lame excuse, as he had been completely exposed and walking over to get his bag. He then lifted it up and started walking over towards the door when Wynne came into the room and stood next to Paul. They both watched as Gabe opened the door, and walked towards the cab. The driver then came out and took his bag for him, and Gabe thanked him with a nod. He then turned around and walked up to his grandparents who were now waiting for him at the doorway. He went to Wynne first, and wrapped his arms around her tightly, wrapping her up in a wonderfully warm embrace, which she reciprocated. After a few more moments of hugging, he finally let go, and looked at Paul, who just huffed and looked off to the side, before awkwardly extending an arm. Gabe smiled at him, and completely ignored the hand, wrapping his arms around Paul's neck, and squeezing him tightly. He then gave Paul a long, and purposely awkward and wet kiss on the cheek, which sent shivers down his spine, and made him push Gabe off. Just as he was about to lambast him for it, he saw Gabe looking back at him with love filled eyes which actually made him tear up slightly, and look away. Gabe then gave Wynne the same look before taking a few steps backwards, and looking at the two of them together. "Well Gramps, Grandma, I'm off! I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me up until now, and I don't know if I'll be able to repay you for what you've done, but I cannot stress to you how much I love you two for it. Stay safe, and I'll be seeing you soon okay?" Gabe then flashed them a truly heart warming smile. "Oh, and Gramps; next time I see you, I'll bring you photographic evidence of all the bitches I'll be fucking!!" Gabe then brought his fist up to his chest and banged it twice, before giving the peace sign with that same hand, doing an about turn, and walking towards the cab, doing a Pimp Lean. Paul and Wynne were still caught up in the moment so it took them a while before they realized what he had just done, which gave them the mother of all delayed reactions, but before they could do anything, Gabe was already in the cab with the window down. As he signaled to the driver to go, he started his Pimp Laugh and the car drove off. As the sound of the Pimp Laugh faded, Paul and Wynne stood there, unsure which reaction to give. Eventually, they just burst out laughing, because of the Gabe like way the farewell ended in. Their laughter was accompanied by an endless stream of tears, as they laughed hard for quite a while, turning and walking inside. They closed the door and sat on a couch in the lounge, and the laughter started to cool off. The thing is though, after the laughter stopped, the tears carried on flowing. They carried on flowing, and eventually, Wynne started sobbing audibly, causing Paul to put his arm around her and hold her tightly. "It's okay Winnie, that boy will be fine. He may be a dorky goofball, but he's terribly strong, and has limitless potential. His vampiric potential is already out of this world, but then he still has his father's genes, which we haven't seen as yet. All I know, is that boy's future looks really bright from where I'm sitting." "That's all well and good Paul, but how is he going to react when he finds out that we haven't told him the complete truth about his mother, or about the identity of his father." "Honestly? I have no idea, but like you said, that boy has maturity and wisdom beyond his years and experience. I'm sure he'll be able to handle it like a rational adult. Besides, if he doesn't and he flips out and tries to kill us, I'll just throw a haunch of meat at him; that'll calm him down." Wynne laughed at that, and wiped the tears from her eyes, and snuggled into Paul's side. After a few minutes, she looked up at him. "Speaking about calming down, go get the Scotch, would you Paulie?" "Scotch huh?" Paul said looking down at Wynne, and smiling. He then bent down and kissed her on the forehead before getting up. "Scotch coming right up." * Gabe sat in the back of the cab, with a huge smile on his face, and eyes that were larger than golf balls. His was terribly giddy, and was pointing at everything out the window, saying things like "WOW!" and "look at that!", and was annoying the fuck out of the cab driver. He wouldn't have minded if Gabe was pointing at landmarks, or animals, or buildings, but he was pointing at EVRYTHING; trees, grass, clouds, things that looked the same everywhere as it was a long drive to the city. In an effort to stop himself from kicking out paying customer, and driving over him until his body became a lifeless, he initiated conversation. "S-so, what's your name there Kid?" "Huh? Oh, I'm Gabriel, but you can call me Gabe; how about yourself?" "Marty. You can call me Marty. So Gabe, you headed to Stern College huh?" "Oh yeah! Marty, I'm finally going to be able to live the champagne lifestyle I've always dreamed of! Just wait, I'm gonna have a fucking never ending TRAIN of bitches leading in and out of my dorm room! I'm just gonna go crazy, and be the pimp I really am Dog!" This speech was accompanied by a string of 'cool' and 'thug' hand and finger gestures like 'peace' and 'east side' and the like. Marty just looked back at him via the mirror with his shoulders sagged and his mouth wide open. Hybrid Theory Ch. 02 'What?! This handsome, model looking motherfucker is the biggest DORK I've ever come across! What, 'bitches'? 'Dog'? Good Lord!' Marty looked back at Gabe, and noticed that while still doing the hand signs and stuff, his eyes started bulging again, and he was about to start fawning over every little thing again, and moved quickly. "S-so Gabe, what are you? You a vamp, a were, a human or anything else?" "Huh? Oh, sorry, I'm a vamp; well at least part vamp; how about you Marty?" "I'm a vamp myself, although I'm a vamp of the weaker variety." This intrigued Gabe slightly, as he remembered Paul telling him that weaker vampires are more needy than the strong, but wasn't paying attention properly because he was getting kicked in the stomach. "What exactly do you mean by that Mart?" "Hmph, I guess you must be one of the stronger vamps then." Marty smiled into the mirror, a smile which was reciprocated by Gabe. "Well, it's pretty obvious that as vampires, we need blood to survive right? Well, those of you who are stronger than us need to feed a lot less than us bottom feeders. You stronger types can also go into the sun without having to take that SunBlock medication as much as we do." Gabe looked at Marty using the mirror, and saw that there was a terrible sadness in them. He didn't know how he could see it, but he saw it nonetheless. "Hey Mart, are uh, are you okay? I don't mean to pry or anything, but there's something in your eyes that's just awfully painful. I mean, I know I don't know you, and you don't actually have to tell me what the issue is, but if you want to talk, I'm willing to listen." Marty just carried on driving without answering Gabe at first and Gabe just took it as a sign that he didn't want to talk about it. After about 15 minutes, he spoke. "Well, as I mentioned, I'm a weak vampire, as is my wife and my children. Well, that's what I thought until my youngest son became dreadfully ill, and I can't afford to buy the high quality blood his body needs for his immune system to begin to heal his body." "Whoa, what are you talking about Mart? Buying blood?" "You don't know about that either?! What the fuck, how ignorant are you Gabe?" "Woefully ignorant, trust me!" Gabe said with a massive smile on his face. They both laughed at that for a bit before Marty carried on with his tale. "Well, there are things called Blood Banks, which are specially run for vampires. There, we can purchase blood, of any quality, for certain prices. Low level vamps such as me can get by on the bare minimum, in terms of the level and grade of the blood. The best quality blood for us is that which comes from other, stronger vampires or weres, etc. The lowest comes from humans, and other low level vamps and creatures, although no matter how weak, any vamp will produce better blood than a human." "I see. So have you consulted a Doctor as to how much high quality blood your son will need?" "Yeah, I have. He'll need at least three half litre Grade A BloodBags to get him started, and that is way more than I can afford at the moment. That's why I've taken this job as a cab driver, to make some extra money to put towards at least paying for one, you know? My wife has also started working, and oldest son has also offered to contribute by putting forth all the money he's saved from working." Gabe just listened to this story, and was brought to the verge of tears, but held it in. He then looked around and saw a few clean and empty BloodBags in the back. "Hey Marty, these things back here wouldn't happen to be BloodBags would they? If they are, then why are they here?" "Oh, if you just have them refilled instead of buying them new, they are actually much cheaper, so I often look for and clean discarded bags which are still reusable. You can also sell them back to the Bank you purchased them from for a little money. The bags are so expensive; you've got to save where you can." Marty then produced a hollow, bitter sounding laugh. Gabe looked into Marty's eyes, having seen through the laugh, but noticed that when he spoke of his family, his eyes sparkled a bit, so he decide to roll with it. "So Marty, tell me about your family. How many kids do you have? How long have you been married?" "Oh, I've only been married for a short time, according to vamp standards..." As Marty rambled on about his wife, Gabe stopped paying attention as he seemed to be preoccupied describing his family. Gabe then picked up a bag, making a small incision in the neck of the bag and concentrated. After a few seconds, a small stream of deep red, almost maroon blood squirted out from a pore on his wrist, and started flowing directly into the bag. He kept giving Marty standard, not-paying-any-attention replies like 'Oh really?' and 'Mhmmm' and 'Uh-huh' and the like. When the bag was full, he carefully folded it, before placing it back on the floor. He repeated this two more times before leaving three full BloodBags under the seat. Doing this had drained him of a litre and a half of blood, and left him pretty sleepy. He found that he had dozed off quite quickly, and next thing he knew, someone was talking to him. "Hey Gabe, wake up! We're at the college!" Gabe started squirming, and snuggling up to the seat. "Gabe! Gabe! Gabe!!" Gabe started screwing up his face. This voice that was screaming at him was starting to get fucking annoying. "Gabe! Wake up you stupid fuck!" Gabe felt a punch on his shoulder. This seemed to do the job of waking him up, as his eyes shot open, and he replied with a short half inch punch straight in the direction in which the fist had originated from, and it came into contact with a face. As his eyes adjusted, they saw a head getting knocked the fuck back, and an entire body following it, becoming airborne and crashing into the ground, all in spectacular slow-mo, and the grunt that came from the airborne body seemed to echo. After it crashed into the ground, Gabe looked at it and it seemed to be dressed like Marty. "Oh shit, Marty?! Is that you?" Marty was just clutching his nose, as blood was freely flowing from it. He was grunting and groaning in pain, while rolling around on the ground. "Shit Marty, I'm sorry! When you punched me, I thought you were that Spartan instructor from hell. You okay?" Marty didn't respond, so Gabe looked around, and noticed nobody was around, so he gripped Marty's collar and hoisted him up, before pushing him against the side of the cab. He then removed Marty's hands from his face, to reveal his broken and bleeding nose. Marty was grimacing in pain, and his hands were also covered in blood. "Look Marty, I need you to calm down and just breathe out your mouth okay? Also, if you could keep your hands away from your nose, that'd be great." Gabe then brought his right hand up to Marty's nose bridge, and felt all up and down it with his index and fore fingers. After locating where the break occurred, he rested his fingers there and closed his eyes. His fingers started glowing with a sort of gold colour, and the bridge started to correctly align itself before the break started mending itself. After a minute or so, the break was completely healed, and his nose was no longer bleeding. Marty's breathing then started to calm down and was far less ragged. Eventually, it went back to normal, and looked at Gabe with one hell of a look. "Damn Gabe, what the fuck did you just do?! One second, my nose feels fucked, and the next, there's a warm, tingly sensation and all of a sudden my nose is 100 %, and no longer blocked, as it was before it broke— WAIT A MINUTE!! YOU BROKE MY NOSE!!" Gabe just looked at Marty as his was a delayed reaction of note. He almost laughed, but then remembered that Marty punched him first. "Well sorry for that Mart, but YOU'RE the one who punched me first!" "That's because you were fast asleep, and weren't waking up!" "Well what were you doing waking me up in the first place?!" "We're at the fucking college man! Whoa, wait a minute; how the fuck did you heal me?! I've never come across a vamp able to do that!" "Yeah, well remember I told that I'm only part vampire. Anyway THIS is the college? This is just some parking lot." Marty just looked at Gabe, wondering what exactly his other part was. Eventually, he spoke. "Wait, you being serious? This is the visitors parking. I wanted to go straight to the drop off zone, but you wouldn't wake up when I fucking called out to you, so I drove around here." "Oh..." Gabe just looked around guiltily, while scratching his head. He then gave Marty a cheesy grin, and started laughing. Marty wanted to stay mad at the kid, but his laugh was so infectious that his anger subsided and he joined in the laughter. He then took and hankie out of his pocket, and wiped his hands and face, and got rid of almost all of the blood. Afterwards, he opened the boot of the car and pulled Gabe's bag out, and put down next to Gabe. "Anyway Gabe, it was nice meeting you, and thanks for—" "Uhm Mart, before you say goodbye, would you mind leading me to some place where I can easily navigate my way over to the office?" Marty just looked at him, and shook his head in disbelief. "Well fine; but only because you're a nice kid." "Thanks Mart!' Gabe flashed a genuine smile at Marty and picked up his bag, before following him. Marty started walking, and Gabe followed him. They made their way out the parking lot, and after a little while longer, they reached the drop off zone, where there were plenty of cars, parents and students, all talking, and buzzing, some sad and crying, and others happy and laughing. "Well Gabe, this is as far as I go. Your grandfather already paid me, so I guess this is goodbye. It's been a pleasure, and I hope really have a good time here." Marty then extended his hand, which Gabe took into his own and shook. "Yeah thanks Marty. By the way, I left you a little tip in the back of the cab. I hope that it's enough, and that your son gets better soon." Gabe then smiled. "Thanks a lot Gabe. Bye." With that Marty turned around and started walking back to where they came from. Gabe then took a few steps forward and walked past the parents and kids that were all communicating amongst each other. 'Boy am I glad I got that over with back at home. Luckily, Gramps and Grandma are old, so they didn't want to drop me off.' The further Gabe walked in, the more he surveyed his surroundings. As he looked around, all he could see were bitches. Goth bitches, Emo bitches, fake titted, gorgeous, Jock dick sucking bitches, cute, nerdy bitches with glasses, geeky and dorky anime loving bitches wearing Pokemon t shirts, skinny bitches, chubby itches, fat bitches, beautiful bitches, average bitches, ugly bitches, bitches every where, and bitches galore! Gabe just stood in one spot, and spun around, getting dizzy, but just looking around at all his potential fucks. He started virtually constructing his never ending train in his mind, just randomly picking a random woman and adding her to it. Eventually, when he realized that no matter how many he added, there would still be extra, he stopped spinning. Unbeknownst to Gabe, he was doing all this while surrounded by a lot of people. Everyone had gone quiet, waiting for this ridiculously handsome weirdo to do something, while some had already whipped out their smart phones, and started taking videos. Gabe then dropped his bag, and everyone (including Gabe) heard something shatter in there, but Gabe just chose to ignore it. Next thing, Gabe pumped both arms straight above his head, also revealing a massive smile, with his eyes closed. "YA-HOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Everyone in the group surrounding Gabe all flinched, slightly scared, but still not leaving. He then brought his arms down, before thrusting them back above his head, and doing this repeatedly. "YA-HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Gabe then started dancing on the spot, doing one of the worst renditions of The Running Man ever to be caught on video. Just as people were still adjusting to it, he then leapt up into the air, bent his knees, and started turning his body until he was upside down. He then landed on the ground, almost on his neck, with a loud 'THUD', and when he remained motionless, many people thought he had broken something. However, he then crossed his arms around his chest, spread his legs apart while keeping them straight, and then started spinning, performing a break dancing move called The Windmill. For some reason, Gabe was doing this move brilliantly, and people were wondering why on earth his Running Man was so bad. People were watching Gabe go crazy, and were sort of getting into his performance. He then somehow pushed shoulders into the ground, popping himself up and landing on his head. He then started generating his own spin, without using his hands. He then straightened his arms out, including his hands, and they were open with his fingers pointed. He then bent his knees at right angles, and started speeding up. Soon, he was just a blur of black, and the two tails of his coat like thing were jutting out and spinning like crazy as well. Gabe eventually straightened his legs and then popped up and landed on his feet, with his legs bent, and his fingers touching the ground. His audience then broke out into a round of applause which Gabe didn't hear for some reason. After a few seconds, he shot straight up to a vertical base and pumped his arms above his head again, which scared the crowd into silence, as they waited for his next move. Gabe then broke out into a fit of laughter, which was loud and infectious, causing a few people to laugh with him. As a few people were approaching to say hello to him, they suddenly stopped, as Gabe's laughter came to a slow and awkward halt. The grin on his face disappeared, and his arms dropped down to sides. The people who were approaching him then stopped, and looked at each other. His right hand then came up, and went across his eyes. His shoulders kept shrugging up and down, and as everyone quieted down, they heard what sounded like sobs. They became louder and louder, until the sobs were loud enough that everyone could hear them. All the people present then looked at each other with looks that just screamed; 'Whaaaaaat?! He's crying now?!! First he was yelling, and then dancing, and then laughing and now he's crying?! WTF!!!' Gabe was just sobbing and sniffing, while rubbing his forearm across his eyes to wipe the tears away. Between sobs, he spoke. "God, *sniffle* God really does exist, I mean he has to. Not only am I in heaven, *sob* b-but, I'm also surrounded by all these *sniffle* angels..." He then looked upwards towards the heavens in admiration. After a moment of silence in which you could hear a pin drop, the ENTIRE audience burst out into a massive chorus of laughter, which caused Gabe to notice them all for the first time. "What the fuck?!" "'I'm also surrounded by all these *sniffle* angels...' AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" "What a Dork!" "This dude HAS to be from the country! What a lame bumpkin!" "His looks don't match his character!" "He looks so fucking cool, but ended being the complete opposite of cool!!" Gabe's head just darted around, as he blushed furiously; his cheeks reddening further as each rebuke was voiced. 'How could I have not noticed all these people?! Holy shit, how embarrassing! Never mind, calm down Gabriel Xavier! You can still salvage this situation!' Gabe then bent down and picked up his bag and slung it over his shoulder. Just as he was about to Pimp Lean like a boss, Wynne's words started playing over and over again in his mind. 'Shit! If what Grandma said is true, then there's no way in HELL I can pimp lean outta here! I'll never be able to recover from it if I do! What should I do?! Think brain, think!' Gabe's eyebrows suddenly perked up as he got an idea, and moved immediately to execute it. Gabe then suddenly turned his torso around and pointed at something. "AH!!" He exclaimed with a massive look of surprise on his face. The entire audience then snapped around to look at what he pointed at, and when they noticed that there was nothing there, they all looked towards the spot where Gabe was standing before, which was now completely empty; with both Gabe and his bag missing. "W-what the fuck? Where did he go?" 'Ha! Don't underestimate me you bastards! My speed is my best asset.' Gabe thought to himself as he ran off. Gabe was running at quite a brisk pace; and wasn't actually paying to attention to where he was going, or how long he was running for. He looked around and realized that he was lost. He came to a slow stop, and looked around; all he saw were buildings, buildings and more buildings. He noticed that he was next to what appeared to be a street, so he just followed it until he reached an intersection. He saw sign posts with street names. "Aha! A street pole! Now I can at least tell where I am, and then navigate from....h-here..." As Gabe read the sign post, he realized that he had no idea where this street actually was. The college's website had an online map, as well as a physical copy of the map, and the recommended that the map be on your person at all times, so as not to get lost. When Paul told him to memorize it, Gabe just agreed to, and stopped paying attention because he was thinking about all the bitches he was going to get. Each time Paul asked if he was making progress on memorizing it, he just kept saying yes and putting it off. It also didn't help that this particular area of the campus seemed to be completely deserted; there was absolutely no activity happening there at the moment. Sure, it was the middle of the day on a Sunday, but for there to be no activity. If there were at least people around, Gabe could've asked them for directions, or better yet; to have them lead him over to the office. If Gabe had just stayed calm instead of running away from his embarrassing situation, he wouldn't be in this mess. In fact, he had actually done one worse than just running away; in his excited state, he completely forgot about Paul's number one rule; 'When in new surroundings, always survey and familiarize yourself with the area before making any moves.' Gabe shuddered at the thought of the kind of terrible Spartan-like punishment that would be inflicted on him if Paul found out the he forgot the rule the first time he was actually supposed to use it. "Shit! I really couldn't have chosen a worse time to forget Gramps' rule." Gabe then looked around, looking for some slightly higher ground. He started moving at a brisk pace again, running quickly and looking around. He found a high fence, which surrounded what appeared to be a park; or at least Gabe thought it was a park because it looked like the one's he had seen on TV, in series, movies and the internet. "Hmmm; this fence looks high enough.' Gabe put his bag on his back and then jumped, and was rather elevated. He unclenched his fists, and his open palms faced the ground. He then closed his eyes and all of a sudden, a sort of red mist started shooting out of them, and this slowed his descent down towards the fence until his feet gently touched down on it. The rest mist then bunched together and formed into two balls of what appeared to be blood, and started flowing back into his wrists. This blood also seemed to be a much lighter shade to the blood he deposited into the BloodBags for Marty's son. He then slowed his breathing, almost entering a state of total concentration, before slowly looking around, taking in each and every detail of the area; the colour of the buildings, the number of buildings, how many trees were in the park, how many flies were flying around, how many ants were in a line of them which led to a dead centipede; no detail was too small or irrelevant. After what seemed like a good few minutes, Gabe was satisfied with the level of detail he had just memorized, he let out a big breath, and then his breathing went back to normal. Hybrid Theory Ch. 02 "Well, now I know what this area is like, even though I have no idea how far it is from any place of relevance or importance; like the fucking front office!" Gabe then squatted down on the section of fence he was standing on, resting his elbows on his knees, with his arms outstretched. Even though it was just a flimsy wire fence, it neither bent nor buckled under his weight. Next thing, he buried his face in his palms, before tightly gripping his scalp with his fingers. 'Arrrgh, shit! This is the worst possible start to my champagne lifestyle! I was supposed to get here, become popular, and then roll around campus, going from party to party with bitches on each arm, sipping on expensive alcohol like champagne, and living the good life!' (This was Gabe's definition of the champagne lifestyle; drinking champagne.) As Gabe continued conversing with himself, all of a sudden he saw a group of four people walking towards the park. Three of them were males of above average height, standing at around 6'1 each. The person in the middle of the group was too short and hidden for Gabe to be able to tell their gender, but the person was short, about 5'5, with medium length black hair that was covering most of his or her face. The park was quite large, so they were entering it from an entrance which was rather far from where Gabe was, so they didn't notice him. They were walking in a peculiar formation, in which the short person was sandwiched between two of the three taller guys, with each of them having slung and arm over the shorter person's shoulders. The third of the tall guys was walking in front of them, looking about as he led them towards the entrance of the park. "Wow, there are actually people moving around here... Oh wait!" In his surprise at people actually being around there, he completely forgot that he could go and ask these people for directions to the office. Gabe was just about to jump off the fence when he saw the guy who seemed to be leading the little group suddenly turn around, and punch the short person right in the gut, causing them to fall to their knees, double over and clutch their stomach. The other two then started raining in kicks, to the person's head, ribs, chest, anything that was exposed and could be kicked, was. Eventually, the person was down on their side, and the two guys focused their kicks to the kidneys, stomach and face of the short person. They carried on with their assault, until the leader gave a hand signal to get them to stop. He then gave another signal, and each of the goons stuck a hand in an underarm and hoisted the short person up, holding them up as his/her feet dangled off the floor. Their face appeared to be bleeding, and blood was leaking and dripping from gashes on their forehead and out of their nose. The leader then slowly started pacing back and forth in front of the short person, before slapping then hard on the cheek, and action which caused blood to go flying out from the short person's mouth. After a few seconds, the leader slapped the short person's other cheek, and alternated between cheeks for a bit before finally stopping with the slapping. He then leaned his face in close and started talking. "Now, there is something you need to understand here Trash; YOU are NOT tallowed to even BREATHE the same air as Andrade's chosen! Even if you weren't the low class Trash that you are, you still wouldn't be able to, because once a King has chosen who he wishes to be his, and the chosen accepts the only way to split them up is to challenge the King for him or her. You are not only one of the unrecognized Trash in the eyes of the Methuselah, YOU challenging Vampire King of this college is inconceivable, because you're weak and pathetic." The leader's eyes suddenly opened wider as he saw something he didn't like. He then spat in the short person's face, with a look of disgust on his face. "You know, I should destroy your eyes just for looking at me like that, you—" Next thing, the leader just flipped. He grabbed the short person's neck and flung them over and smashed them into the ground. He then grabbed him/her by their head and jumped up in the air before throwing them straight into a concrete bench, with the short person's head on the edge of the bench. He then landed with his foot on the person's head, and it went through the bench, with the head underfoot and smashed it into the paving the bench was situated on. He then started stomping on their head repeatedly. "YOU LOW CLASS, IMITATION PIECE OF TRASH! HOW DARE YOU?! HOW DARE YOU SOIL MY SHOES WITH YOUR BLOOD, YOU MOTHERFUCKING CUNT! BITCH! TRASH! IMPOSTER!" With each insult, he stomped on the short person's head until they appeared to lose consciousness, as their body went limp. The leader; panting and still enraged, pulled out a handkerchief and wiped the blood off his hands and threw it on the short person. He then scoffed and sorted out his hair, before smoothing his clothes and giving the signal and walking off, with the two goons in tow. Gabe just squatted on the fence completely in shock at what he had just witnessed, considering how random it seemed. After what seemed to be an age, Gabe saw how the body still wasn't moving. He looked around to see if anyone was coming to try and help this person, but no one was around, so Gabe jumped off of the fence, and glided through the air before landing right next to the body and squatting like he did on the fence. He looked carefully, and saw that the body appeared to be that of a man, but there was hair covering his face. Gabe brushed the hair away, to find that the dude was actually attractive. He appeared to be of oriental descent, and had slightly feminine features, but all in all, an attractive man. Gabe then felt a chill go down his spine as he was admitting to himself that he found another man attractive, and that freaked him the fuck out. Gabe noticed that the guy was breathing, so at least he wasn't dead. Then he started poking the guy's arm. "Ooooooi! Are you still alive? Are you going to wake up any time soon?" When there was no reply, Gabe tried again, poking harder this time. "Oooooooooooi! The guys who fucked you up are gone! Wake up!" Still no reply and Gabe was beginning to get impatient. "Look here mother fucker, if you're waiting on mouth to mouth, then—" Gabe noticed the guy's face flinch ever so slightly. 'This motherfucker is just playing possum!' Gabe then suddenly got an idea, and a really sly and disturbing smile brandished his face, as he laughed quietly to himself. He then spoke with a louder voice than before. "Well, I guess I've got no choice then, CPR and mouth to mouth it is! But wait; what if this beautiful and handsome guy is already too far gone for CPR?! I guess I'll have to skip straight to..." Gabe started leaning in closer"...mouth to mouth" As Gabe got closer to the guy's face, he noticed how his face was visibly screwing up and sweating. He also noticed that not only was this guy stiff and rigid, but his fists were clenched and actually hovering above the ground as the shook. This made Gabe grin and then he blew on his lips while leaned closer. "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!" Gabe said, as his lips were just centimeters from the guy's. Next thing, the guy's eyes shot open, and he rolled away from Gabe, before shooting up onto all fours, and barking at Gabe. "Whoa, whoa, whoa; what on EARTH are you doing!!" He said this with a really squeaky, high pitched voice, while pointing at Gabe. Gabe just smiled slyly, and licked his lips. "I was trying to resuscitate you! You out cold, and after trying everything I could, all that was left was for me to perform mouth to mouth." "What do you mean 'after trying everything I could'? All you did was poke me a couple of times, and then you tried to molest me!" Gabe then gave a positively shocked expression, placing his hand on his chest. "How could you even say such a thing?!" Gabe said in an incredulous tone of voice "I was doing this to help! I was truly concerned, but I see that means nothing to you!" Gabe then draped his forearm across his forehead and started some fake sobbing. "Oh please! I can see right through your fake sobs!" Gabe then peeped at the guy from behind his hand; grinning that sly grin of his, which made the guy flinch from worry. "Just like I saw through your false unconsciousness." The guy just stood there, having been caught out. Just then, the guy remembered why he had played possum in the first place; this guy was a vampire. He then grimaced, as it as rather difficult for him to breathe; he suspected that he had a few broken ribs. Gabe then stood up, and walked over to him; and when he got close, he squatted again, as this guy was still on all fours. He brought his hands up, which made the guy kind of cower slightly. Gabe noticed this, but carried on until his hands were on his cheeks. "W-what are you..." The warm, tingly sensation which was spreading through cheeks and eventually his entire head was both soothing and nice. He looked down with his eyes, and saw that Gabe's hands were glowing brightly. He felt all the wounds on his face tingling and closing and after a short while, Gabe's hands stopped glowing, and he removed them from the guy's cheeks. "Okay, I'm going to need you to get up off all fours, and go lie down on that bench your head just went through." The short guy was hesitant, and didn't move at first, but Gabe gave him a warm and reassuring smile, which made him listen. He was still slightly confused as to how Gabe had healed the wounds on his face, but decided not to question it just yet. He got up and as he did, his head suddenly started spinning and his knees buckled. Gabe caught him, and helped him regain his footing. He looked up appreciatively at him. "Thank you." Gabe nodded and led him over to the bench, before laying him down across it. He then noticed and started paying attention to his clothes, and besides them being covered in his own blood, they were of exquisite make. The material was like nothing Gabe had ever felt or seen (which wasn't saying much, as he hadn't felt or seen a large variety of clothes in his lifetime). They also seemed to be of an Eastern, Oriental kind of design, and even though they were plain black, they still looked good. Gabe then started unfastening the buttons when he felt small hands on his wrists. He then looked down and saw the pretty man giving him a look that was practically begging him not to undo the buttons. Gabe didn't understand why he couldn't, but common sense overrode his ignorance, and he chose not to question it. After gently feeling around, Gabe made a mental note of the guy wincing every time he touched his ribs. "Okay, now I need you to just relax okay? I haven't treated injuries like this before, so I think it's going to take quite a bit of concentration." Gabe then closed his eyes and took a deep breath before his hands started glowing bright gold again. The short guy was tense at first, but he eventually started relaxing more, as the feeling of Gabe healing him was nice and soothing. He could almost feel his ribs slowly coming together and healing, while the aches and pains around his kidneys and the rest of his torso started to disappear as his the bruises started healing as well. His breathing also started to go back to normal. After about ten minutes, he felt as though he was at about 100%, and he himself opened his eyes to look at Gabe. What he saw, he wasn't expecting; Gabe's face was completely drenched in sweat, and his brow was furrowed in deep concentration. His lips were pursed together, and he was breathing out of his nose. What really got him though, was how he saw what looked to be a golden ring; resembling a halo, floating above Gabe's head. It also seemed to be gelatinous, and the energy that made it was wavy and almost ethereal in appearance. He was only able to see this for about a second though, as Gabe suddenly opened his eyes and exhaled quickly and with force. The halo disappeared, and Gabe started huffing and puffing as though he had just run a marathon. The sweat started dripping off of his face, and fell backwards onto his ass, while supporting himself with his arms. "Holy shit; fuck I'm tired! I've never had to concentrate so hard and heal injuries of that scale before!" The short guy then sat up and swung his feet off of the bench, resting them on the ground. He looked over at Gabe in concern, as Gabe's cheeks looked slightly sunken and drained. After a few moments of silence, which were only filled with the sound of Gabe's heavy breathing, he got up and approached Gabe. "Uhm, excuse me; are you oka—" "Don't even talk to me you bastard!!" Gabe barked at him, which made him flinch and jump back a bit. Gabe then set up straight, buried his face in him palms and began to sob. "My first day on campus has been completely RUINED!! I was supposed to be fighting off the thousands of bitches that would be swarming me, while feeling up the two on each arm and sipping on champagne!" ''Ch-chmpagne'? 'Thousands of bitches'? What's wrong with this guy?' Gabe then suddenly pointed at him, and started barking again. "But then YOU just HAD to get yourself fucked up, causing me to heal you! First all those people laughed at me, and now I've spent a lot of energy healing a short pretty person, who just happens to be a MAN!!" Gabe started sobbing again, and the short guy was confused, as he didn't know whether it was possible to console this weirdo. After fairly short session of Gabe sobbing, he eventually rubbed his eyes with his forearm, and then looked towards the short pretty boy, who was still looking rather confused. "So what's your name man?" "My name Mu Yin Li; what about yourself?" "Name's Gabriel, but you can call me Gabe. It's a pleasure to meet you Mu." Gabe gave a small nod and a slight smile, before sighing and standing up with slight difficulty, prompting Mu to lend him a hand. "Thanks man; I'm not really used to using energy from that side of my genes, so the fact that I used it twice in one day, and that the second time around, I used so much of it, I'm kind of knackered. Just give me about half and hour, and I'll be fine though." Mu helped Gabe onto the bench, where they both sat down, and Gabe, having placed his bag on his lap now, leant all the way back onto the seatback of the bench, slouching and hanging both arms over the back of it. He looked over towards Mu, who was sitting very conservatively, with both hands in his lap, and wasn't making eye contact with Gabe. "So tell me Dave, why the fuck did those guys beat the bejeezers out of you, and why didn't you even attempt to fight back?" Mu just looked at him with a slightly confused expression on his face. 'Did Gabe just call me Dave?' "Uhm, well as to why they beat me up; I cannot say. As to why I didn't fight back, well; that's because I'm a Werebat." Just as Mu said that, he grimaced, and was punching himself on the inside. 'Shit! I just told a vampire that I'm a Werebat! Now he's going to start—" "So what?" Gabe said in a bullish tone. "Uhm, e-excuse me?" Mu asked, with a shocked voice and facial expression; eyes almost bulging completely out of his sockets. "So what? Does being a Werebat take away your ability to defend yourself when people attack you? I mean seriously dude, we are currently sitting on a bench which is slightly shorter on one end, because your head went through it. There are little bits of concrete which are covered in your blood next to your feet right now, and all that might have been avoided if you had at least tried to throw a punch—" "Don't you think that I wanted to fight back?!" Mu looked at Gabe with a look of desperation, anger, frustration and sadness in his eyes, and it was a look that pierced through Gabe's heart. "Well then why didn't you?" "I already told you, it's because I'm a Werebat!" "And I already told you; 'So what'!" Mu just stared at Gabe with a look of confusion on his face again. "Are you messing with me, or do you really not know the significance, or rather, INsignificance in my being a Werebat?" "I seriously don't know John. I was born and raised in the country, and my grandparents limited my personal interactions with people to just them, so all I know about the world, I learned from TV and the internet. The thing is though; I had no interest in learning about things of actual importance. All I did was use the internet for porn, and... anyway, I don't know why your being a Werebat is such a bad thing, and is a free pass for others to beat on you, and use you as a punching bag." 'Wow, this guy actually seems as though he is being sincere; he's actually ignorant to the way things work in this city. Wait a minute, did he just call me John?!' A few moments passed where they both sat in silence, and the only things which could be heard were ambient sounds. Eventually, Mu spoke. "Being a Werebat is viewed as a very bad thing by vampires in this country. They believe us to be inferior, barbaric, and they call us 'mere imitations of bats', whereas they are 'the evolution of bats'. Werebats have little, to no rights in the eyes of vampires and thus, have no rights in general, as many vampires occupy positions of power, with one such example being TFK. We are usually treated like dirt, and are expected to be thankful for it. Vampires often have their way us; with many Werebats often being servants, or butlers, or maids, or slaves, or sex slaves. We're barely even considered as sapiens, and don't even have a King here on campus, like every other Were. I did something which the current Vampire King didn't approve of, and you can see what that did for me. If I fought back, then every single vampire on this campus would have been trying to kill me as they would have received the green light to take me out, and I can't die just yet, not until I've found a way to free.... Never mind." Gabe looked at Mu with a deep sadness written all over his features, shaking his head. "Damn man, that's absolute bullshit! Isn't there anything anyone can do?" "No Gabe, there's nothing anyone can do. I'm pretty sure that those who have tried are no longer with us." Gabe saw the sense of hopelessness on Mu's face and didn't like it. "Well, you know something Mu, you were wrong about every vampire on campus trying to kill you, because this one..." Gabe then placed his hand on Mu's shoulder and squeezed. "...has already exhausted himself trying to mend you, so turning around and breaking you wouldn't make sense." Gabe then flashed his trademark smile, which warmed Mu's heart and brought him to the verge of tears. "T-thank you Gabe. Hey, you called me by my name..." "You're welcome; and of course I did, I've been doing so the entire time. Anyway Phillip I need your help; I need to get to the main office so I can check in and get my dorm room key, but not only don't I know where the office is, I don't even know where I currently am; you willing to help?" Mu rolled his eyes and giggled slightly before nodding his consent. About a second later, he felt a slap go across his cheek, almost sending him flying off the bench. He brought his hands up to his cheek, and held it, before looking at Gabe with a hurt expression on his face. "G-Gabe, what was THAT for?!" "Quiet! Your pretty, feminine face, and cute giggle made me swoon and my heart skip a beat; I had to stop that shit asap! Don't EVER do that near me again! Good Lord, I'm swooning over guys now to make this day worse! Now get up; I got to get to the office before I closes, or I'm going to be sleeping on the street tonight." Mu's eyes bulged for a second, before he burst out laughing for the first time since meeting Gabe, and that made Gabe smile at him, and laugh with him. With that, Gabe stood up off the bench, placed his bag on his back again and started stretching; his energy seemed to have almost completely replenished itself. He offered Mu a hand to help him up, which Mu accepted. They then started exiting the park, as they made their way towards the road with Mu leading, and Gabe following closely behind him. They were walking at a slightly slowish pace, mostly because Gabe hadn't fully recovered as yet, but was getting there. Hybrid Theory Ch. 02 "So Alex, how far are we from the main building, and how are we going to get there?" "Well, we have to get to the main drop off point which is a short walk from here. The drop off point is where most cabs and busses can be found in Vamp Sect; during the day at least." Gabe knew that the words Vamp Sect were important for some reason, but he couldn't for the life of him remember why they were, or what their significance was. Instead of looking a total idiot in front of Mu (Alex), Gabe just decided to feign understanding. "Oh, I see. Well hopefully there will be a few ready and waiting for us, because I've seriously got to get some rest. I also need to get something to eat, as it's been quite a while, and that demonic grandfather of mine denied me a final meal." Gabe said, chuckling to himself. They walked for a little while longer, before reaching the point and seeing one cab there. They got in, and after Mu gave their destination, the driver set off. What got to Gabe was just how far he had actually run, as their trip began to tip over fifteen minutes. This also illustrated to Gabe just how large the campus was, and he once again regretted not adequately studying the map, the brochure and the website. After another five minutes or so, the car finally came to a stop, and both men stepped out. Mu then produced a card which appeared to have a golden oriental dragon type design on it. The driver swiped the card, and nodded after the acknowledgement of payment beep the card scanner produced, and returned the card to Mu, who put it back in his wallet. They then walked together towards the office, and what Gabe saw next struck him; there were about five or so queues of students, who were all there to check and sign in. A short, nerdy looking girl then approached them as she saw them standing and looking at the queues. "Hi! Are you two both here to...check...in?" The short girl was dazzled by Gabe's good looks, and stunning eyes. He then looked down at her and smiled, not even noticing her ogling him. "No; I'm the one who's here to check in. I just got lost, and Charles here showed me the way." She didn't respond, and what Gabe said hadn't even registered yet. She just kept staring at him, with her mouth slightly open. Mu noticed this obvious little moment. On the other hand, this little moment completely flew over Gabe's head; he became slightly concerned when she didn't respond. "Excuse me, are you okay?" Gabe's asking actually snapped her back into reality, and realized that she had been staring so obviously and blushed furiously. She then licked her dry lips, cleared her throat and adjusted her glasses. "Yes, I'm quite alright, thank you for asking. Anyway, will you be sharing a dorm? These lines to your left are for people who will be having either one, or many roommates." "No, I'm going to be bunking by myself." "Well then if you would please follow me; I shall lead you to the counter for people who will be living alone." The both of them then followed her as she walked down an empty area of space next to a queue and eventually to a counter that had about six other people standing before it. Gabe assumed that these people were also going to be bunking alone and thus counted himself amongst the lucky ones, as sharing a room meant he would also be in one of the massively long queues. "Well, here we are. My job is now complete, so I goodbye, and I hope you enjoy the rest of day." "Thank you very much; you too!" Gabe said, flashing his brilliant smile, which made the girl blush, and smile shyly before walking away. Gabe then slung an arm over Mu's shoulders and started sobbing again, but this time with a smile on his face. "You know Charles; I'm getting closer and closer to finally beginning to live my champagne lifestyle! Staying in my own dorm room, going to parties non stop, and finding bitches and taking them back to the crib for a good fucking! My life is gonna be the shit Dog!" 'W-why Is Gabe suddenly speaking in dorky sounding Ebonics? Charles? Dog?' Just then, the last person in front of them received their key, so Gabe was next. He stepped up to the counter, and there was an attractive woman sitting behind the counter. "Hello there; are you here to check in?" "Hello to you too. My name is Gabriel, and yes I am." "Very well, could I please have your Identification papers?" Gabe reached behind him and took his bag off of his back. He opened a compartment on the side and revealed the papers, which his grandparents painstakingly acquired for him without him actually having to be present. He then placed them on the counter and slid them over to her. She went through the papers, opened his little I.D booklet, and read through it. When she looked at the picture, she saw a handsome looking guy pulling one hell of a funny face, complete with googly eyes, flared nostrils and his tongue poking out in an obscure direction. She almost giggled at it, but caught it. She then looked up to see Gabe perfectly replicating the facial expression he had used in his picture and this actually made her burst out laughing. After a quick laughing session, she calmed down, wiping the tears from her eyes and handing back the papers. "Well, thank you Mr. Xavier, for making a long day slightly more pleasurable, if only for a few minutes." Gabe then grinned at her, and started laughing. She looked up at him and his smile made her blush slightly. "It's my pleasure." "Anyway, seeing as you are a vampire, you shall be staying in the Vamp Sect. Also, for the first week of classes, you will be able to attend both day and night classes, to see which you prefer; after which you shall be required to make a decision on which you will permanently attend. You will also receive your monthly bottle of SunBlock, as well as BloodBags when you really need them." As the woman was speaking, she was sorting some things, typing some other things into her computer, and all the while Gabe was wondering what she was talking about. He eventually recalled Marty having mentioned the SunBlock, and his filling three BloodBags with his blood. Gabe was snapped out of his thoughts when some papers and a pen were slid in front of him. "If you could just sign these Mr. Xavier, then I can give you key and you can be on your way." "Please, call me Gabriel or Gabe. And you aren't trying to get rid of me are you? I mean, you just said that I made your day more pleasurable." Gabe said, with a friendly smile as he started signing on the dotted line at the bottom of each paper. The pretty lady just smiled pleasantly at Gabe as he signed. Most good looking vampires on campus were complete dicks who believed they were God's gift to women, so this friendly, tanned and cheerful one was a complete switch. She looked to the side and saw a pretty Oriental girl with him, so she assumed that they were dating. 'Oh well.' She thought to herself. "Well I'm sorry, but are still a few people behind you, so you have to leave. Feel free to drop by and visit though, could always do with a bit of a laugh in this place." "Well then, consider it done; I shall visit you again soon." Gabe said, and slid both the pen and papers back over to her. The lady took them, and then handed Gabe a student card, and a room key. "Here you go Gabriel; your student card and your room key. The student card acts as a pass key of sorts, and is required to be produced when you enter any lecture hall, as that is how your attendance is noted. As I said before, you are over in the Vamp Sect, and you dorm room is on the top floor of building ADZ-2. I don't know how you got a dorm room on the top floor, but that's very lucky as they are usually in high demand; everybody wants to say the stay in a Penthouse suite I guess. Anyway, you no longer have to remain here anymore, so enjoy the dorm room, and the rest of your day. Oh, and I expect you to visit me." Gabe smiled at her and nodded. "Definitely. Thanks and I'll see you around. C'mon Fernando, let's go!" Gabe said as he turned around having already put his papers in his bag, and slung it over his shoulder. Gabe then started walking away, with Mu in tow as they exited the office. Just as they were about to exit, Gabe heard some one asking a person in the queue a question. "Hey; isn't that the guy who broke down and started crying earlier?" Gabe then stopped for a second, wanting to listen more intently. "Yeah, that's definitely him! I wonder if he's going to have another one of those moments, because if he does, we have to get it on video, like the other one!" 'Video?! No way, somebody took a video?!' (Many people took videos, Gabe just didn't notice.) Gabe then gripped Mu's sleeve with one hand, causing Mu to look at him with a startled and surprised look, and then sprinted out of the building, running at blistering speed, with Mu flipping and flopping about behind him. Most people in the office hadn't recognized or noticed Gabe, so when they saw him burst out at almost Mach speed, all they thought was that somebody needed the toilet or something. Eventually, Gabe stopped running; although this time, he paid enough attention not to just go running in any arbitrary direction for an unknown period of time. He looked for, and found a rather large bush which he dived right into, Mu still in tow. In the confusion and bustle, Mu hadn't actually had a chance to put his feet down and run for himself, as not only didn't Gabe stop, but he was also much taller than Mu, so Mu's feet had no chance of touching the ground. Gabe finally let go of Mu's sleeve, which resulted in Mu face planting on the ground. Mu then shot up onto all fours again, giving Gabe quite a confused and slightly annoyed look. "Gabe, what on earth are you doing?!" Gabe was once again squatting, and looking around with paranoia dripping off of his face. It's almost as if he didn't even remember that Mu was with him, he just put both hands on his head, and looked up to the sky. "W-what, there's a video of the most embarrassing moment of life! What if it gets posted on the internet? I'm fucked if that happens! How am I supposed to make women swoon and blush and flirt with me if that video spreads!?" Gabe then removed his hands from his head, and draped his right forearm across his eyes, looking like he was about to start crying again. Mu cautiously moved forward, intending to ask Gabe what he was talking about but before he could get close enough, Gabe suddenly popped his face out from him forearm, now looking angry as hell and pointed up at the sky. "God! God, are you listening you bastard?! What have I done to deserve this, huh?! Or do you have beef with my father? Did he spit in your coffee or something? Is THAT why you're punishing me, HUUHHH?!" 'W-what on earth... now, he's verbally abusing God?' "My dreams are pretty simple; all I want to do is enjoy my life, is that so wrong?!" Gabe then went from barking up at God, to again, draping his forearm across his eyes, and this time he started sobbing. Mu was truly dumbfounded as to what to do. 'This guy is such a pain in the ass...' Just then Mu looked up, and saw the bush people staring into the bush at them, with Mu on all fours, and Gabe squatting in front of him crying. "Awww, did that guy try and score a quickie with his girlfriend, but fail to get it up?" "Yeah, I mean she's primed and ready on all fours waiting for him." "Got a pretty face too, I can just imagine creaming all over it." "Yeah; me too!" "The cute ones always give the best head!" Mu suddenly stopped paying attention to Gabe and concentrated on what was being said behind him. ' 'Primed and ready on all fours', 'the cute ones always give the best head'? What on earth...' As the realization that they were speaking about Gabe and himself hit Mu, a look of sheer dread adorned his face. He couldn't tell which was worse; being mistaken for a woman or being mistaken as GABE'S woman, awaiting a quickie in the bushes. "G-Gabe! Gabe!" Mu whispered as he tried to get Gabe's attention. Gabe didn't hear a thing as he was still having his little episode. He suddenly thought he could hear somebody whispering his name, and in his mind, the only other person around was Mu, so he violently turned his head back, glaring at Mu. "Q-Quiet you little bastard! Can't you see... that..." Gabe's speech slowed to a halt as he finally noticed the group of people who had gathered and were now watching for any and/or more developments in the bushes. Gabe quickly turned his head back to the front as his eyes bulged out of their sockets, a bead of sweat running the side of his head, and his lips pursed together tightly. 'Okay Gabe, calm down! Calm. Down. Okay, now think, think damn you! We have to come up with a solution to get out of here BEFORE these motherfuckers start whipping out their phones! Wait... I may...' During all this, Mu wasn't just sitting idly on all fours waiting to be mounted and taken; he too was trying to think of a plan. 'Okay now Yin Li, THINK! There has to be way out of this particular predicament that is neither too painful nor too embarrassing... wait a minute...' Just then, Mu was also having a brainwave which happened coincidentally at the same time as Gabe. And as if Gabe knew, he turned back and shot Mu a look with his brow furrowed and his eyes slightly squint. He suddenly gave Mu a small nod, which Mu himself reciprocated before Gabe looked back ahead. He swallowed a lump in his throat before suddenly standing up and pointing behind him to the left. Mu on the other hand shot up off his hands and ended kneeling, placed both hands on his head and looked off to the right with an extremely alarmed expression on his face. Then at the exact same time, both Mu and Gabe screamed. "AAAHHH!!" The people that had gathered suddenly looked off in the directions both Gabe and Mu were facing, not knowing what was going on. In that instant, Gabe used his right leg as a pivot and swung around to his right, extending his left slightly. When he completed his 180, he pushed off the ground, dashing directly at Mu who himself had gotten up off his knees and was already facing the opposite direction, also in a squat but with his left arm pushed up and away from his body, almost in anticipation of what was to happen next. Gabe then ducked under Mu's arm, hooking his own arm around his waist and then pushing off and sprinting right through and past the group of onlookers, dashing out of view. When the group looked back to the spot, all they saw were a few leaves which had been kicked up in the commotion and running away, gently floating back down to the ground, and the leaves and branches of the bushes ruffling, as did the clothes of those people Gabe and Mu dashed past. After just a brief period of running, Gabe slowed down and came to a halt, skidding and sliding slightly across the ground as he stopped moving his legs. The tails of his coat fluttered behind him as he came to a stop, and then he once stopped, he let out a quick sigh of exertion before letting go of, and putting Mu down. Mu himself also let out a similar sigh, before standing to his full height; then bending down and dusting himself off. He then looked up at Gabe with a slight scowl. Gabe looked back down at him with a clueless expression on his face and shrugged. "What?" "What do you mean 'what'?" Mu asked in a slightly annoyed voice. "What on earth is wrong with you? In the brief amount of time I've known you, you've grabbed me and run away from people TWICE! You break out into random fits of crying and anger, and you keep whining about some 'champagne lifestyle' nonsense! What's going on?!" Gabe looked down at Mu and after a few moments of silence, grinned apologetically and started scratching the back of his head. "Yeah, I'm sorry about all that Mu, I just... This is my first day at college; it's my first time alone, heck, it's my first time off my property. I just... I'm not accustomed to being by myself, and even less accustomed to normal society. The way I saw my first day on campus unfolding is completely different to what has actually happened. I mean, first there was the video, then I got lost and..." By this time, Gabe had stopped looking apologetic, and was now smiling, looking shocked, having pained looks on his face, all while recalling the trauma that was his first day on campus to Mu. It was in that moment that Mu realized that he was not only having a friendly conversation with somebody, but that the somebody in question was a vampire; a vampire who not only helped him when he was injured, but seemed to genuinely be friendly with him, and completely clueless about the treatment Werebats receive. Before he knew it, the mild annoyance he felt towards Gabe disappeared and he was smiling warmly at Gabe. Gabe caught onto this and just smiled back, before resting his elbow on the top of Mu's head. "You know what Ed, let's get out of here; wherever 'here' is and head on over to my dorm room. I have no idea where it is, or how to get to this Vamp Sect." Mu, who surprisingly enough didn't swat Gabe's hand off just raised a brow at him. "Are you seriously telling me you don't know how to get back to where we were just a short while ago?" Gabe just shrugged and took his elbow off of Mu's head and started walking off in a random direction, heading towards what he thought was the main road. Mu just shook his head and walked off in the opposite direction, out of what was a small bit off shrubbery onto what was a sidewalk. Gabe also emerged from the shrubbery he had unwittingly stopped in and looked around, noticing that it was quite far from the main building. He just looked down at Mu without a clue in the world of where he was and shrugged again, grinning at Mu who sighed and started walking towards another drop off point, with Gabe walking after him, quickly catching up to him. "So tell me, is there a place where we can get some actual solid food and not just blood? I'm positively famished." Gabe said, looking up towards the sky in starvation. Mu looked up at him, and thought about it for a second. "I don't really know Gabe, as I don't actually live in Vamp Sect. We'll check to see along the way in the cab, but I'm pretty sure there is one close by to your building." Gabe just grinned, his bag hanging off his back and smiling to himself. After a few more minutes of walking in silence, Gabe and Mu finally reached a drop off point where they sat and waited. They spoke about random things until a cab arrived, after which they hopped on and headed over to Vamp Sect. They drove past a few places that delivered and Mu made a note of their phone numbers, and when they reached building ADZ-2, Mu once again produced that rather attractive looking card and paid for the ride. Gabe wanted to ask Mu why he kept paying for things, but decided against it as he didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth and ruin a good thing. They both got out, and started walking towards the front entrance. Gabe then looked down at Mu. "Hey Rick, you wouldn't happen to know why there is absolutely nobody walking around here would you?" Mu just looked up at Gabe rather strangely, looking slightly confused. "Are you being serious Gabe? A vampire is asking a Werebat why there are no vampires walking around during the day?" Gabe just carried on looking at Mu, eventually shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders. Mu looked up at Gabe, just waiting for it to sink in, and when it didn't, he felt it necessary to enlighten this seemingly idiotic vampire. "The sun is still out Gabe. It's nowhere near night time. Vampires are nocturnal beings remember?" Gabe looked at Mu for a bit before it sank in, and he indeed realized that it was still day time. He himself wasn't nocturnal because he was only half vampire, and as it turned out, his father's genes were quite kind to him in that respect. That is also why he didn't feel any ill effects from being in the sun. He just looked at Mu and smiled as they stopped at the door. Hybrid Theory Ch. 02 "Ah yes, I actually forgot about that. Thanks for the info James. Now how do we get this door open? I see no handle or knob, and it isn't opening automatically either." Gabe stood there looking at the door and noticed a strange black thing with what appeared to be two small lights on it and a small gap for something thin to fit into. He looked over at Mu, about to ask how to open it but decided against it as he didn't want to appear to be stupid. He bent down, examining the black box type thing rather carefully, before trying to stick his finger into it, which failed. He then blew into the little slit, hoping that would help but it didn't. It also didn't help that Mu was being annoyingly quiet and wasn't offering any kind of help. He then suddenly remembered how Mu was constantly pulling his card out and using it to pay for things, and also remembered that girl from before who gave him his student card told him something about the card being important for attendance and such, so he figured that it may also be important for opening the door so he reached in his pocket and pulled out his student card, inserted it into the little slit, and swiped it downwards. A little beep sounded from the box and the red light flashed. He tried it again, and it had the same results. He removed the card and examined it closely, and then flipped it over before sliding it through the slit again. This time it beeped twice and the green light went off, and the doors slid open; an event that had Gabe standing to his full height, pumping his chest out and nodding with pride at his achievement. He then looked down at Mu smugly, and started walking in, and Mu just shook his head and chuckled, walking in after him. "Ha! See that you short little bastard? I opened the fucking door yo!" Mu just laughed under his breath at Gabe's apparent pride at opening the door, and his switch back to terrible ebonics which, much like the names thing, didn't seem to bother him anymore. When they both reached the elevator though, Gabe looked for the swipe point and found that there wasn't one. He just looked around all over the place for a swipe point, but there wasn't another, at least not another that opened the elevator doors. After looking for and not finding the swipe point that opened the elevator, Gabe begrudgingly looked over at Mu for help. Mu just looked at Gabe with smug look on his face and pressed the 'Up' button, causing the doors to open. He then gestured at Gabe to walk in, which he did with a playful scowl on his face, after which Mu walked in as well, grinning at Gabe, who looked down at him, still scowling. "I will kill you motherfucker..." They both stood there in silence before Mu eventually reached for and pressed the button for the top floor of the building, still looking rather smug. Gabe just continued to scowl at him throughout the duration of the elevator ride, even stopping his initial impulse of dancing along to the elevator music. The ride was rather long as the building was rather tall. Gabe eventually got over scowling at Mu, and just smiled at him, and started chuckling, which Mu joined in on as Gabe's laughter was terribly infectious. Once they reached the top floor, the elevator made a sort of ding and the doors opened up, with the two of them now walking out. Gabe looked around and noticed for the first time that the interior of the building was extremely classy, which for some reason had completely gone unnoticed. He also looked around a bit and realized that there was only one door on the entire floor, which when looked around some more, was rather vast. He looked down at Mu who just nodded knowingly. "That girl at the counter did mention that everybody wants the Penthouse Suite. People usually bunk together in order to get it, as it is rather expensive to pay for by yourself, but it seems like you had the money to pay." Gabe just nodded slowly and looked around some more, before walking towards the door, which was in the middle of the floor. 'Wait, how on earth did I get this apartment? In fact, how on earth did we afford to pay for this thing?! We aren't rich!' Gabe just continued with his internal monologue as he pulled the card out again and swiped it in the swipe point, to which a sort of unlocking type of click was heard, before the door opened slightly on its own. Gabe then pushed on the door and it opened completely, a very large portion of the apartment into view. Gabe just stood and marveled at the size and vastness of the apartment, which was filled with rather dark furniture and finishings. He saw some sort of pole somewhere near the middle of the lobby, which was planted in the middle of something that looked like a Jacuzzi. He just stared with his mouth gaping, and slowly started walking in, looking around. Mu stood there looking rather unimpressed, before looking up at Gabe and noticing all the wonder and shock at what he was seeing. 'My word, just how sheltered was this guy? This place isn't all that impressive, and all the dark, gothic and clichéd vampire décor is pretty bad as well.' Gabe suddenly looked down at Mu and smiled, grinning from ear to ear and bending down slightly. "Holy mother of – fucking shit! Are you seeing this place Dennis?! Odd looking shit aside now, can you just IMAGINE how many bitches I'm going to be able to fit in here?!" by this time, Gabe was running around looking at everything, spinning in one spot, before running up to and poking some more stuff, laughing, and then bending down and appraising a flat surface, giggling lewdly at the evil thoughts running through his mind. Mu had now completely walked inside and shut the door, making his way over towards the kitchen, which was also rather large, pulling up a stool and sitting down. While Gabe was still busy faffing and such, suddenly his stomach growled extremely loudly, causing him to freeze and shut up. He then looked over at Mu, became slightly pale in complexion and dropped down to his knees. He then plopped down onto his stomach and lay there motionless. Mu, who hadn't even moved a muscle since Gabe dropped down, slowly pulled his phone out and dialed one of the numbers he had taken a note of, and ordered what ended up being a large amount of food, as Gabe lay on the floor, mumbling something unintelligible and not bothering to get up. It took around half an hour for the food to arrive, but when it did, Mu stood up and buzzed the delivery guy in. Once the guy reached the top floor, he buzzed the door, to which Mu opened it. The delivery guy just looked at Mu and his eyes bulged with recognition, as he instantly realized who had just answered the door, and was wondering what he was doing in a Vamp Sect Penthouse, without being horribly beaten or bleeding profusely. Mu himself also recognized the delivery guy, who spoke first. "M-My Li-" "Quiet Robert; I've told you people a million times not to call me that!" "Oh, I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you... Mu. It's just that I'm very surprised to see you in a vampire's apartment at this time of the day, in this kind of condition." "And what kind of condition is that Robert?" Robert suddenly looked at Mu, slightly intimidated before stepping back slightly. "I'm sorry Mu, I didn't mean anything by it! It's just that..." "Yes yes, I know. Don't worry about it, just come in and set all the food down on the kitchen counter." The guy gave Mu a sort of half-bow, half-nod type of thing, before grabbing as many bags as he could and set them on the counter, before getting the rest and doing the same. He looked down towards the Jacuzzi after he heard some sort of mumbling noises coming from that direction, and he noticed some guy on the floor, on his stomach and looked over at Mu in shock. "D-Did you do that My –" "No, of course not! This is actually his place, and I just happened to be here when he collapsed. I just ordered him the food as he helped me out earlier. Anyway, come here so I can pay." The guy came closer and pulled out a mobile swipe point, to which Mu produced his card and swiped it. After entering his code, he put it back in his pocket. "You may keep the balance as a tip. And Robert, you will say nothing to anybody about this, alright?" Robert just nodded in appreciation and bowed before scurrying out of the apartment quickly. Mu closed the door and turned around, making his way over to the kitchen. Some audible sniffing sounds were heard, and then some more mumbling was heard again, in a whining sort of tone. Mu looked over to see Gabe inching over towards the kitchen, sliding across the floor like a slug. Mu then started unpacking the food, ignoring Gabe before feeling something gripping his ankle weakly. He looked down to see Gabe, still face down on the floor, laying there. He grabbed a box of fried chicken, bent down, opening it and placed it right in front of Gabe's face. He stood back up and started unpacking his own box and heard some chewing sounds, so he looked down to see Gabe now using his other hand and slowly munching on a chicken leg. Slowly but surely as he made his way through the meal, he started increasing the speed with which ate, and before Mu had finished his own little meal, Gabe was standing up slowly, and the box was filled with bones. "Ah Gabe, I see that you have started recovering. You must have been quite hungry to run out of energy and collapse like that." As Gabe slowly got to his feet, he spoke. "No... not just... hunger... combination of... hunger AND... lack... of... energy..." Once he was standing upright, Gabe reached into a bag, digging around for more stuff to eat. He pulled out a chicken burger meal which came with fries, and started demolishing that, while Mu ate his meal rather slowly. After finishing his meal, he looked over at Gabe and smiled. "Listen Gabe, it's about time for me to be heading back to my own place; it's getting late, and the vampires will be waking up soon." Gabe slowly tilted his head up from the food and looked at Mu for a bit, before remembering what had happened when he met him. He just smiled and nodded, before standing upright and walking towards the door. Mu followed Gabe to the door, and when Gabe opened it, walked through. "Hey, before you go... I just wanted to say thank you, for taking me to the office... buying me food... everything. I really appreciate it." Gabe smiled warmly at Mu, and Mu smiled back. "No no Gabe, I'm the one who should be thanking you, for treating me like a person, and not just as a Werebat." Gabe looked at Mu with a slight sadness in his eyes at the bitterness he detected in his voice. Gabe then reached out and gently placed his hand on Mu's shoulder and smiled again. "I don't give a fuck how Werebats are treated in this place, because you are a pretty cool guy, and the first real friend I've ever made, so... Anyway, I was wondering if you could come by tomorrow and show me around the campus? I don't know how to get anywhere, and I think I need to learn before classes start." Mu hadn't really heard the rest of what Gabe had said, as the words that were playing over in his mind 'real friend'. Mu didn't even know how to react to that statement, as he himself had never made another friend all his life, so being called a friend by not only a stranger, but a vampire was quite surprising. Mu just looked down in silence. Gabe became slightly concerned. "Mu? Mu, did you hear me?" Mu suddenly looked up at Gabe with an incredibly heartwarming smile. "No... no, I did not. Could you please repeat that?" Gabe just looked at Mu in shock for a second, before smiling back. "I said I need you to show me around campus tomorrow if that's not too much of an issue?" Mu just nodded at Gabe and turned around, walking towards the elevator. "Sure, no problem Gabe. What time should I come by?" Gabe just smiled at Mu and waved sleepily. "Whenever you feel like coming buddy. I'll see you then." He then turned around and closed the door before heading back to the kitchen to eat as much as he could before passing out again. Mu just stood at the entrance to the elevator in silence for a while, while contemplating of him coming back here tomorrow to hang out with his... friend. That thought alone made him smile as he walked into the elevator. He pressed the button, and as the doors came together, he looked up and spoke softly to himself. "I'll see you tomorrow then... friend..." Gabe woke up the following morning in a rather chipper mood. After he finished eating all the food that Mu had so kindly purchased for him, taken a shower, he walked around until he found a bedroom (which wasn't even the main bedroom, although he didn't know that) and passed out the moment he touched the mattress. Now having woken up, he slowly and sleepily walked around the apartment, before walking into a different bathroom thinking that it was the same one. He took a quick shower and went back to the kitchen, looking to see if he hadn't eaten all the food, which unfortunately he had. Feeling slightly miffed, he got dressed in similar clothes to the ones he was wearing yesterday, but had the same coat on. He realized that it had no practical purpose whatsoever, be in his opinion, it looked cool. 'Alright; today is going to be completely different from yesterday! I'm going to roam around and find some bitches, get some champagne and bring everything back here and have the most epic orgy ever recorded in the history of orgies!' Gabe was feeling pretty upbeat at this thought, and just as he started singing to himself, he heard a sort of buzzing sound coming from somewhere in the apartment. "What the...?" Gabe then started walking around slowly, waiting for the buzzing sound to... buzz... again, which it did, causing his head to quickly snap in the direction it was coming from. He walked over to the kitchen and found a sort of telephone thing hanging from the wall, which buzzed again. He picked up the phone and held it up to his ear. "Hello...? Hello?" There was no answer, although this didn't deter Gabe, he just kept saying hello because in his mind, the longer he said hello, the higher the chances of somebody replying were. He was however running out of patience and started getting annoyed at the constant buzzing, and non-existent responding from the person responsible for the buzzing. He was just about to blow a gasket before he looked carefully at the phone that he was about to smash into oblivion. He noticed that there were buttons on it, and one such button had the label 'Door' on it, so he pressed it. He then heard sound coming from the phone and he put it back to his ear and spoke again. "Hello?" "Hello Gabe? It's Mu, did I wake y—" "Yaaay, Leo! I was wondering when you were going to come! Come on up!" Gabe then put the phone back and started walking off when suddenly the phone buzzed again. He picked it up and held it to his ear again, pressing the door button again. "Hello?" "Yes Gabe, I need you to open the door for me." "Huh? How and why? Do I need to come all the way down there to open it for you?" "No, not at all. You just need to press the 'Door' button again, and I'll be let in. You will however need to open the front door for me." "Oh, okay then! See you in a minute buddy.." Gabe then pressed the 'Door' button again and put the phone down. He walked up to the door and just opened it, standing there and waiting for Mu to come up, which he did. The second the elevator dinged and the doors opened, Gabe almost leapt up in excitement at having a friend come over, as he had never been in this time of position before. Mu walked up to the door and saw that it was open, so he gently pushed it all the way open and found Gabe standing there awkwardly with a smile on his face, and this caught Mu off guard. "Uh hey there Gabe. Is anything the matter?" "Huh? No, not at all! It's just... I'm out of my element... once again." "What do you mean?" "I mean that for the first time in my life I'm not only living alone, but am also having a friend come over... I uh, I don't know the protocol of one such occasion." Mu looked at Gabe, and for the first time in the brief period that he had known him, he saw uncertainty and vulnerability being displayed by him. Mu himself hadn't had all that much experience with that you would call friends, but he knew exactly how he was treated when he was in this situation, so he just smiled and walked up to Gabe, and smiled at him. "There is no exact protocol I guess. I mean, usually you'd offer me a drink or something, but I know that there's nothing to drink in this place as you've just moved in. I guess you just have to wing it for now, and be content with my company for a while. And you asked me to show you around campus today correct? We won't even be hanging around here, so don't worry about it." Gabe then suddenly grinned, reached out and patted Mu on the shoulder. "Thanks a lot Mu. Now let's get the fuck outta here! I'm hungry as hell, so I need to get to exploring my new surroundings, and getting some bitches and champagne in here pronto!" Mu shook his head slightly before smiling. "You really do have a one track mind don't you Gabe?" "You be quiet! Let's get going." Gabe then walked out of the apartment and waited for Mu to do the same. Once he had, he closed the door and they made their way to the elevator. Gabe pressed the button once inside and after the ride, they stepped out into the building lobby. Gabe looked around and realized that the lobby was decorated similarly to his apartment, with large, lavish looked deep reds and blacks, gothic style décor and such. He thought it looked rather nice, yet weird as well. They walked out of the building, not needing to use Gabe's card to exit, and walked to the parking lot where Mu had a cab ready and waiting. "Oh wow, well this helps us quite a bit. So then Tony, where are we headed?" Mu just shook his head and opened the door for Gabe, wondering if Gabe did the name thing purposely. "Well, first of all, we'll be heading to the main building where all the classes take place. It's a rather large building, as it has to accommodate all the students in the college, and it's also slightly far from where we are right now. After that, we'll be heading to what is called the 'Town', which is where most students go to hang out, relax and just, well, be together. It has cinemas, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. It really is something of a mini town, which is good for students who don't have the means of actually going into the city." Gabe was looking rather excited about going to Town, as he was really a country bumpkin of note. He got into the cab and sat down, buckling his seatbelt and getting comfy as Mu closed the door. Mu then got in the other side of the cab, doing the same. "Alright driver, to the main building please." The driver nodded and began the journey. Gabe just looked around, doing his best to concentrate on, and memorize all the street names and signs of the roads they were driving on, feeling the route, counting the number of turns they made, making personal notes of trees or particular details about the area that he would use as landmarks and such. He even began to recognize the area they were in after a few minutes of driving, and realized that this was the area where he actually met Mu, and then just then, he saw the park. Mu himself was sitting in silence as he saw the concentration on Gabe's face, and figured that it would be best if he didn't say or do anything to disturb him, also motioning over to the driver to keep quiet. The entire trip was actually made in silence, and after the near twenty minute journey, the cab came to a slow halt. Mu gently touched Gabe on the shoulder, and this made Gabe look over at him.
