She remembered headed out to her truck after work but nothing more. She didn't know where she was or how she got here. She slowly got up just as a man walked into the room. He was an older man in a grey suit. He wasn't very tall but he walked with strength. "Ah, you are awake miss." He said. "And where am I and who are you?" She wasn't very happy not knowing where she was. "Mr. Ammon would like to ask if you would join him for lunch." He ignored her question all together she noticed. She was getting angry. "I have no intention of staying here on minute more than I have to. Now show me the door and I will leave!" "Miss I can not do that until Mr. Ammon says. He has instructed me to tell you that he will explain during lunch, which will be ready in about fifteen minutes. There is a bathroom through that door there if you wish to freshen up." He pointed to a door behind her. When she turned around she realized that the man had left the room while she was looking the other way. Jennifer walked up to the door and tried to open it. It was locked. "Figures. I don't like this at all." She had no idea what was going on. She looked around the room. There were a several books. On any other occasion she would have loved this room, but not at the moment. There were no windows in the room and only two doors. The one that was locked and the bathroom door. She went to the bathroom and there was a window, but when she looked out she realized she was on the second floor. Not an easy way out but possible. When she tried the window it opened but she heard voiced below and decided that it wouldn't work if there were people outside. She would have to wait. She decided to freshen up and see what this was all about. When she returned to the main room she went to the book case and began looking at the books. There were many different topics. Even law books and medical books. Nothing to really tell her who this Mr. Ammon was. She began to wonder what happened. She remembered leaving her job out the back door and getting to her truck door and then opening the door but that was the last thing she could remember. Everything else was a blank. She heard the door open and turned to look. It was the same older man. He was smiling at her. She couldn't bring herself to smile in return. "If you will follow me miss." She didn't like not knowing this old man and calling him 'hey you' didn't seem right. "What is your name?" she asked. "I am Tony miss." "Well Tony, since I do not seem to have any option in all this lead the way, I guess." She thought also that she could see if there was another way out while he led the way. Tony led her down the hallway only a short ways though. Three doors down from where she had been. It was a smaller room with a small table near a fireplace. Inside stood a man looking at the fire. He was tall with dark black hair hanging down to the middle of his back. "You may leave us Tony." His voice was deep and rich. When he turned around Jennifer couldn't help but wonder where he was from. He wasn't overly muscled but still well proportioned for a man so tall. His eyes were a deep dark chocolate. Who was this man and why does he want to see me? She thought. Ammon looked at the woman before him. He knew she was forty one. She was 5'3" he gauged. She had dark blonde hair and blue eyes. She was angry as well. He could see it in her face. She was very lovely he thought. "Good evening Miss Frost, my name is Ammon Ammon. I am pleased to meet you." "Why am I here?" she asked. Ammon knew he could not tell her the reason but she did need an explanation. "You are in no danger here. You are my guest for the weekend. I promise you may return home on Sunday if you so choose." "That does not tell me why you brought me here or how for that matter." She remembered leaving work and walking out to her truck and getting in, but she couldn't remember how she had gotten here at all. This man whom she did not know was telling her she was safe and a part of her did believe that. For now she decided to go with her gut feelings. There was a table full of food before her. There was a set of glass doors leading out onto a balcony. There was also the fireplace that Ammon was standing in front of. The food looked like Italian parmesan chicken with garlic bread and pasta. She liked Italian food and she was hungry. "Would you join me for a bit to eat? I am sure you are hungry."Ammon asked. Jennifer sat down and Ammon sat across from her. She didn't trust him. She knew he could be dangerous. She could see it in his eyes. She couldn't put her finger on it but she knew he could be. Yet a part of her knew that it was safe to be here as well. "Are you going to tell me why I am here?" Ammon couldn't help but like this woman. He knew several things about her but he hadn't known her strength till now. She was angry, yet also unsure of what was going on. "I promise you will have your answers before the end of the weekend." Before she could ask anything else a woman in a tight fitting red dress walked in from the balcony. She had long pale blonde hair and green eyes. She was stunning. What would this man want with her with a woman like this around, Jennifer wondered. "Do I have to keep watching over him? He is getting on my nerves." "I told you he would get upset now deal with it." Ammon told her. I am having lunch with Ms. Frost. I will take care of him afterwards, no go." Jennifer could hear the command in his voice. She was right he had a great deal of power. She also suspected he was stronger than he looked. The woman turned to leave but not before she looked at Jennifer. There was real anger in her eyes for Jennifer. Something about the woman made her think she was related to Ammon. "You could go and take care of whatever you need to. I can eat alone." She offered. "No, it is not your fault. Some of the ones around here just need to learn patience. Please enjoy the meal. I know I am enjoying the company for a change." He found that what he told her was true. He did like her company. He was beginning to wonder if he would be able to let her go to Lynn after all. Something about this woman was drawing him closer. He didn't get close to very many including his own kind. There were less than a handful that he called friend and one of them wanted this woman badly. Yet he was dead to her. Would the truth make her run. He wasn't sure but he knew he had less time than he thought. The two of them returned to eating their meal. It was very tasty, Jennifer thought. She loved to cook and enjoyed a good meal. It was chicken parmesan as she had thought. She preferred grilled chicken but this was fried like most prepared it. "Do you like the food?" "Yes, it is good." "I was hoping you liked Italian. It is one of my favorite dishes." "My favorite is home cooked and this tastes close." "Tony made this from an old family recipe. He was born in Italy but he has traveled all over with me. I don't like going to restaurants to eat. Tony cooks all my meals." Jennifer was impressed. She loved to cook and trade recipes. "I never cared for going out to eat myself. I prefer cooking my own food." "Ah so you cook?" "Love to." It was easy talking with this man, she only wished she knew the real reason she was here. There had to be some reason she had been kidnapped and brought here. "So when are you going to tell me why I am here?" She wasn't going to be swayed from her most important question, Ammon thought. He couldn't just tell her but at the same time he did need to tell her something. "I need to get to know you more before I can show you why you were brought here. As I told you you will know by the end of the weekend and then you can choose what you want to do. I will not make you stay after that." Jennifer wasn't sure she liked the answer he gave her. She returned to her meal. It was easier to eat than to talk to this man. He was frustrating her to no end. No matter how well he acted and looked she just felt uncomfortable with him in a way. They both finished their meal in silence. Ammon watched her. She was furious. He could see it in her eyes. She didn't like being here and he was sure she would run as soon as she thought she could. The party tonight would not be safe for her. Too many others that would not stop being with her. He needed to make sure they knew to stay off this floor and a way for her to stay in the house. "I must warn you that you must not leave this floor or step out onto the balcony. There are many visiting me this evening that would find you very tempting and could cause a great deal of trouble. Please stay on this floor and inside the house. If you need anything Tony will get it for you. Tomorrow I will begin to explain I promise." Jennifer didn't like this turn of events. She had planned to sneak out one way or another this evening and find her way home. Yet his words told her that would not be possible. She knew what he said was the truth even thought she wasn't sure how she knew. Something inside her told her to listen and not run. Something was going to happen this weekend that would change her life forever. "I don't have much of a choice do I?" "Everyone has a choice." Ammon could see her thoughts play out on her face. She couldn't hide her thoughts very well. "I can promise that some of the guests I have would be dangerous to you. I must go and at least make sure they stay out of the house." "Now you tell me after kidnapping me I am safe one minute then the next I am not. Which is it?" "You are safe on this floor. Only a few are allowed on this floor and they are safe for you. You met Elizabeth and Tony. The others will only be on the property for the evening. They will make sure no one gets up here. You have my word you are safe here." Ammon knew she didn't like anything he was telling her but what other choice did he have. The party could not be called off. If he sent her back Lynn would never forgive him. He had grown to think of the man as a brother. What a mess he had himself in, he thought. "If you need anything feel free to call Tony. He will hear you and come." As if on cue Tony came into the room. "Sir, your guests are beginning to show up." "Thank you Tony." He looked back at the woman across from him. She was sitting quietly. He wanted to comfort her. To spend the evening with her but that was not what he could do. If Lynn knew what he was feeling he would take off with her in an instant. He smiled at her as he said, "I will see you in the morning." Jennifer didn't answer. She just shook her head yes. She had no thought of leaving now. She knew she was missing something but she couldn't put her finger on what it was. She knew though without a question that something wasn't safe tonight. "Miss I can show you to your room if you are ready." Tony told her. Jennifer looked up at him. It was just the two of them. Ammon was gone. She was glad. She didn't like being held here even if everyone was being nice to her. "I could use a bath and freshen up if I am going to be stuck here." She got up and followed Tony down the hall again. The nest room they passed was full of books. She couldn't resist and looked inside. It was a library. She loved to read. "I take it you like books miss?" "Yes I love to read." "I am sure you can read anything you like in here." She reluctantly followed Tony back out of the room. They passed several other rooms before he came to one that was for her. It was simple yet everything was plush. Even the bed was huge. It was a king sized bed with what looked to be a very soft comforter on it. It was decorated in earth tones. "That door leads to the bathroom and the other is the closet. I do believe the cloths will fit you miss." "Cloths? You mean I have cloths here for me too?" "Oh, yes miss. Your comfort was important." "Tony how long have you been expecting me?" At first she didn't think he would answer her, by the look on his face. Then he said, "About a week ago." She wasn't sure she liked knowing that these strangers had been watching and waiting for an opportunity to kidnap her. She was about to ask him another question when she realized he was already gone. Turning back to the room she decided to make the best of the time she had here. She walked across the room to the bathroom and looked in. It was larger than her bathroom at home. It had a large tub and a walk in shower with a half wall of glass. She would be able to see anyone enter the bathroom while showering. Yet for her the bathtub looked more inviting at the moment. It was a jacuzzi and she knew it would be completely relaxing. She turned the water on and got the temperature the way she liked it. She then walked over to a closet in the bathroom and found a fluffy towel and other bathing items and took them over to the tub. Once it was half full she took off her clothes and stepped into the tub. It was very warm just like she liked it. She could stretch out in the tub it was so big. She was sure two people could fit in it at the same time. Once the water got over the jets in the tub she turned them on. It was like a hundred hands messaging her aching back and neck. Until she felt the water she had not relaxed just how tense she had been. She could feel the knots in her neck slowly loosen up. She ran her foot over one of the jets to relax her feet. Once one was relaxed she moved to the other. Her hands began to rub soap over her body. She wanted to get rid of all the smell of work off of her. As she moved along her body she became conscious of another release she needed. The tub was the perfect place. It had been too long since she had had a lover that made her cum. She tended to have to take care of her own needs. The tub gave her the perfect vibrator though. Leaning to one side she placed a jet where it would run over her breasts. It was like having a hand message them. She sighed in enjoyment. Her hand slowly ran down her chest to her waiting pussy. She also closed her eyes as she thought of the one man she wanted to do these things to her. His face came to her mind with ease, his blue eyes looking deeply into her own. His hand slowly caressing her pussy building the pressure between her legs. She pushed her pussy closer to one of the jet to stimulate her future. Imagining his lips, tongue and teeth attacking her waiting pussy hungrily. She wanted to have her release but his smile telling her to be patient. It had been so long since he had made love to her. Slowly sliding a finger into her warm passage way. Teasing and playing with her clit. Building the tension within her till she boiled over yet not giving her what she wanted most. Suddenly she heard a knock on her bedroom door. "Miss I am putting something for you to sleep in on the bed. I am afraid I had not thought of it till now." Tony didn't come to the bathroom door, which Jennifer was totally grateful for. Yet she had been so close to getting herself off. She hated the interruption but she would not continue knowing that he could return at any moment. She gave him a few moments before she turned off the Jacuzzi and climbed out reaching for the towel. She dried herself off and wrapped the towel around herself then walked back into the bedroom. The door was still open so she walked over and closed it. Turning back to the bed she found what he had left on the bed. It was a long pink satin gown. It was lovely. Her first thought was how he loved to see her in pink. She almost didn't put it on. Surely there is a big t-shirt or something else she could wear instead, she thought. She almost turned away but then she slipped it on instead. She walked over to a floor length mirror to look at it on her. It fit her nicely. It also felt wonderful next to her skin. It had a matching robe that she put on over it. She was completely covered now. She decided that she would wear it. Thinking about him and wearing this was nice. It usually made her sad to think of him. She couldn't even bring herself to say his name it hurt so much most of the time. It was still early so she decided to go to the library but she was thirsty. The minute she returned to the hall she could hear the sound of people downstairs. She walked the length of the hall to the stairs. She couldn't see downstairs because the staircase curved back on itself but she could hear talking below. She wasn't sure where Tony was but she was hoping he was close. She listened to the people go by talking about different things till one voice seemed to be right below her. It was a male voice. "MMM smells good. What do you have upstairs that smells so good Lynn?" "Nothing for you Carl," the second man said. "Now now surely Ammon would not mind if I see." She could hear a bit of movement. "I wouldn't do that if I where you." Jennifer nearly backed up from the stairs herself at the venom in his voice. "I am needed upstairs Lynn." It was Tony's voice this time. He didn't sound afraid. Then she could hear his footsteps coming up the stairs. Once he was within sight of her he saw her. "Ahh miss, you might want to move back to the rooms." Jennifer stepped back a few steps as he drew closer. She wasn't sure what was going on but the sound of the man called Lynn made her fearful. Something about the way Tony told her to return to the rooms also told her that she was in danger from somewhere down stairs. She wasn't sure from who and she really didn't want to know. "I was wondering where I could get something to drink. Then only thing I saw was some brandy in the office. I would prefer some soda and popcorn while I read." "I can get that for you, but we must move away from the stairs." He stumbled for his next words. "It would be safer for you." "Ok, I was just headed to the library to find a book while the party was going on anyways." She was about to turn and head to the library when she looked back at Tony. "Thank you for your generosity." "It is my pleasure miss." "Yes but you do not have to be and I am grateful. All of this is kinda crazy and it is nice to have someone I feel comfortable around." He looked at her in a way that made her feel foolish for saying anything. Then he bowed, turned and went back down the stairs. Jennifer returned to the library. It was the largest room on the floor. It also was much larger than her own library at home. She only kept books she found she enjoyed but here there were all different types of books, including children books. That surprised her most. She had not seen or heard any children. After turning down three books after reading the first few pages she was wondering if she would have to reread a novel she already had at home. This library had a few of them. "Miss I have the popcorn and soda you wanted." Tony suddenly had appeared in the room. She had been so distracted that she didn't hear him till he was in the room. She spun around. "I didn't hear you even come up the stairs. You startled me." "Sorry miss, I had no intention of it. I just was bringing you something to eat and drink." "Thank you." She noticed the tray he had. It held a large bowl of buttered popcorn and a glass of ice with three cans of Dr. Pepper. She was grateful he had chosen something she liked. I haven't found a good book but there is a lot of choices in here." "Yes there are a lot of books in here. I am sure Ammon has a few in here but most are the owners books." She was surprised by his words. He looked as if he had said too much. "This isn't his house is it?" She wasn't really expecting and answer but she was fairly sure that it wasn't. "No. This is only a rental for a few weeks. We are here only for a visit." "You travel with him everywhere too I take it." Halloween Weekend Ch. 02 Saturday Jennifer found herself in a large sunken tub with flower petals floating over the water. It was very warm. The water was a nice coolness over her skin. As she looked around there were large stone columns and shear fabric blowing from the wind. It was all open around her. She was sitting in the water on a ledge. The water up to just under her breasts. She knew it was deeper in front of her. The tub could hold at least fifty people with ease she was sure. It was as if she was in ancient Egypt. She could even see the hieroglyphs on the columns around her. Suddenly she saw a shadow through the fabric. It was Ammon walking across from her just the other side of one of the shear walls. He walked up to a woman. She was gorgeous. She had long black hair. She was wearing little, covered in shear fabric herself. Yet she could see the strength of this woman. She had the same look that the Ammon she knew had. Strength and age all conveyed in her eyes. She was old if you looked in her eyes yet she looked young physically. She looked no older than her mid twenties. She leaned into him as if to embrace him and kiss. She kissed his lips softly then moved to his neck and sang her own fangs into his neck and wrapped her arms around him to hold him in place. Jennifer could see his eyes roll back into his head as he began to pass out. She slowly retracted her fangs and kissed the wounds on his neck. Then she made a cut just above her breast and whispered "drink." He slowly began to drink from her. Once he stopped he lay there in her arms. Jennifer knew she was seeing Ammon's transformation into what he was now. Suddenly everything around Jennifer grew dark and was replaced with candle light. She hadn't moved but everything around her had. She was standing now in the middle of the water. It was up to her waist. She could still feel the heat and the light breeze but she couldn't see past where she was into the distance to see the scene she had been watching. She could feel arms come around her waist and hold her close to what she knew was a naked body. She could feel him. When she tried to look around her he was in the dark even though he was right behind her. Jennifer didn't know why but she felt safe. Whoever this was she was not afraid of him. He pulled her against him further and she could feel his hard erection against her back. He was as naked as she was. Her body betrayed her as she could feel her own heat rise. She looked down at his hands. They were strong hands without any marks on them. He took her into the deeper part of the water. She found her heart rate increasing as he did so. He began to run his hands along her shoulders and down her arms. He whispered, "mine" ever so softly in her ear. He moved her to the edge of the water where there was a blanket laid out before her. He scooped her up in his arms and finally she saw his face. A face she knew so very well. Yet his face did not have the pot mark that had once been there. She loved him with all her heart and soul. She raised her hand to his face and he smiled down at her. His blue eyes almost dark with the heat within them. She was about to say his name when his lips met hers. She could feel the fire within her building even higher. When he released her he laid her down on the blanket gently. He kissed his way down her body. She could feel the heat in his breath. Her own growing with each kiss from him. As he came to her bellybutton he kissed her and stopped. Her world stopped with him. She looked up into his eyes seeing a sparkle there that told her he was about to make her really squirm. His own legs pushing hers apart. Just as he moved into place between her legs he looked up into her eyes again. She locked hers with his. She couldn't seem to look away as he rang his tongue along her already wet self. She could hear his own growl as he did so. It sent a fire through her that was unlike anything she felt before. She needed him within her. It was beyond a need, yet she couldn't find a word that worked. It was as if he called to her. He licked her again but he didn't stop at her clit. He continued to move up her body to between her breasts. He moved to her right breast. He suckled deeply and she let out her own moan. Still her eyes were locked with his. She could feel his erection near her wet neither lips. The head of his engorged cock at her entrance. Suddenly he pulled away from her and she let out a sound of dismay. He stood and looked around and slide into to shadows. Jennifer sat up and screamed "NO." Jennifer found herself sitting up in bed, tears in her eyes. She hated these dreams. They seemed so real. It was as if he was with her again. She lay back into the soft bed and curled up into a ball and let the tears fall from her eyes. She stayed as quiet as she could. She was in a strange place and even in her own safe home she never let anyone see her cry. Her heart felt empty and void, as if it was gone completely. Since he died she had felt this way. Her dream had only reminded her of the emptiness all the more. Jennifer lay there for some time till the tears stopped and then she got out of bed. She went to the bathroom and placed cold water on her eyes to remove the redness that had her eyes all puffy. Once she felt refreshed she returned to the room to find Tony. "Ah miss there you are. Are you hungry this morning? Mr. Ammon is having breakfast and asked if I would see if you are hungry." She was glad he hadn't come earlier. "Yes I am." Tony led her to the office where Ammon was already eating. He stood as soon as she came in. "Morning, I am glad you decided to join me." "It smells good." The two of them ate in mostly silence, each in their own thoughts. Finally Jennifer couldn't wait any longer. "So are you going to tell me why I am here?" Ammon looked at her for a few moments before he answered. He was torn by wanting to enjoy her company and telling her what she needed to know in order to meet Lynn. He couldn't wait any longer. He had interrupted Lynn last night in her room. It was a good thing she was asleep at the time. He would have scared her into running away. "I hear you were up late reading in the library." She noticed he was trying to change the subject but what else could she do. She knew she could not make him answer her questions. "Yes." "You must have found a good book to read through the entire party. I had figured you would have gone to bed early." "Yes it was an interesting book." She thought suddenly as to why he was asking about the book. Something about his question was making her wonder about it all. "Who wrote it?" she finally asked. "I did." She had expected that answer for some reason. It felt right. He was watching her she knew. She just let it all sink in for a moment. "I haven't read it all but it is well written. I read it for six hours last night." "Yes Tony said you did. Do you have any questions about it?" "You never put a name to the main character. I was wondering why?" "It is my life story and few have ever read it so I never thought to put a name in it." Ammon knew he was telling her something that she may not believe. She was probably going to think he was crazy and she wasn't going to like the proof. Jennifer sat looking at Ammon across the room. He is either telling me the truth or he is crazy, she thought. She wasn't sure which one to believe at the moment. If he was crazy she really needed to get out of here. If he was telling the truth then her life just changed. One way or another she wasn't as scared as she thought she should be. "Are you ok?" he asked. "I am not sure yet but you do realize that most people will call you crazy for that comment?" "At the moment I want to know what you think. You do not look very scared for a woman who just learned there really are vampires in the world." "I have always believed that there is always the possibility of crazy things being true in life." "Not the response I had expected." "I never claimed to be normal. Most would agree with me that know me." "You don't seem scared at all." "I am forty one and seen my share of... bullshit to not be scared. That and death never has scared me." Ammon was stunned for the first time in his very long life. No one had ever reacted the way this woman had when they first learned what he was. She was something special. He wished he could keep her but he knew Lynn was growing more and more impatient with him. "Well I guess the rest of the story will probably go easier than I thought it would with you. A friend of mine has been watching you for some time. I have refused him to contact you and finally it grew to a point he was either going to go against my orders or I would have to kill him." He saw the shock in her face. "You see we keep ourselves secret even if the knowledge is out there. Even in the movies some things are true. He was prepared to take you and that is not allowed either. We are not allowed to take by force. One reason the change will either kill the person or be much more painful than it has to be. As a rule we only change our mates." Jennifer sat there listening to everything Ammon was telling her, but she lost all thought when he said mate. She had to stop him. "What right there. I am no ones mate and I do not know who this person is but I am too old to be anyone's." "It is why I had you brought here. This way you could hear what needed to be said and the two of you could meet." "I am not looking for a relationship." Ammon smiled at the woman. He was learning why the two of them would not work. He couldn't deny he wanted her but she was older than most who where turned and she was far more stubborn than even himself. They would kill each other and she would never back down to him. He could see it in her eyes. "I would like you to join us for a party this evening and tomorrow you will be allowed to leave if you wish." "Let me guess you want me to meet this other man tonight?" Ammon could hear the frustration in her voice. "Yes, he will be with us at the party." Jennifer wasn't sure if she was more angry about someone kidnapping her for a meeting with another man, or that anyone thought they could make her do something she didn't want to do more. She could refuse. "And if I refuse to go to this party of yours?" "He has been in the house the entire time you have been here. He has refused to leave. I am not sure he can wait much longer." Jennifer started looking around suddenly. She didn't like the warning that Ammon was giving her. Something about what he said made her think it this man was dangerous. She suddenly had an idea. "Oh, let me guess, another vampire?" Ammon smiled as she came to that conclusion. She wasn't stupid at all. She was completely enraged but she was holding it in rather well. He knew he never could. "Yes he is." "What about Tony and Elizabeth?" "Tony's family have been taking care of my family for generations, but he is human. Elizabeth is family though." As if on cue Elizabeth came into the room in a completely red leather body suite with her blonde hair up in a ponytail and a short small club hanging from her waist. The moment she looked at Jennifer she said, "So you told her then!" It wasn't a question. She knew he had told her. It was written all over her face. "Yes I have told her though she found my journal so she had an idea before our little chat." "So is she going tonight?" Elizabeth never looked at Jennifer. "You interrupted her answer." Jennifer could see his anger at this woman. She sat quietly till they both looked at her. She could see that this woman did not like her for what ever reason. Instead of looking at her she looked at Ammon. "It doesn't look like I have much as a choice so I guess I am going." "Fine I will get all the costumes together." She turned and left before anyone could say a word. Jennifer stared at her for a moment before turning back to Ammon. "Costume?" Ammon smiled at her and nodded. Jennifer couldn't argue since she had agreed already, so she turned back to other questions. "So I guess there are a few differences in the real and the movie vampire?" "Yes there are a few things. No I do not sleep in a coffin. No the sun does not turn me to ash. Obviously I can eat normal food though blood is my main diet. Our senses are far more acute than yours. Our life span is much longer but we are not immortal. Any other questions?" Jennifer thought for a moment. She had too many questions and not enough time to get answers. "Why does this vampire want to meet me?" Ammon knew immediately that he had set himself up for a long afternoon. Her first question was a dangerous one. "One thing all vampires look for is the one who completes them. We have what we call families but it is not the same. All of us have a mate that completes us. Lynn has said you are his." He knew that this was the turning point for Lynn. Her response would tell him what would happen. Jennifer was shocked but at the same time she wasn't surprised. The only thing that always surprised her anymore was that she was very rarely surprised at what life threw her way. "I have not even met him, what makes him think I am his... mate." "I am afraid that some of the answers you want only he can give you. The other problem is that I have made it impossible for him to talk to you till midnight tonight." He could see the surprise on her face as he continued. "It is safer for you. Most of us are very possessive of the ones we hold dear. He has a great deal of strength. We also have the gift of coercion. He had not been able to stay away from you so when I agreed to this weekend I made certain demands on him. You will see him in his costume this evening." "I have to tell you that he doesn't have much chance. He would have better luck draining me and moving on." This wasn't what Ammon expected out of her. "What do you mean?" "I had the love of my life Ammon. The one in a lifetime kind. Now I just enjoy the company of the ones around me but my heart is gone." Suddenly he understood her just a bit more. He could see the truth of what she said in her eyes. He only hopped Lynn knew what he was getting himself into. This woman needed to want to live again and he wasn't sure she could. "I am sure that the two of you will come to an agreement." Elizabeth walked in then. She looked at Jennifer as she spoke, "I need you to take a shower and shave. I will have your costume in your room when your done and I will help you get dressed." Turning to Ammon she continued. "I have your attire in your room." She didn't wait for an answer, turning on her toes she left as fast as she had entered. "She is a whirlwind isn't she?" Ammon chuckled. "It isn't what I would call it but yes. Yes is very loyal." The two of them continued talking about many things between the two of them. Each asking about different things in their lives. Both loosing track of time as Elizabeth returned to the room. "You are still in here talking! I told you to talk a shower and be ready." Jennifer looked at her and just stared. "You know it doesn't take that long to shower and shave or to get ready for a party." "You have no idea!" turning to Ammon she said, "If you want me to have her ready you need to let her go." She left the room without so much as a look back. "I guess I should let you go get ready. She can be a bit pushy but don't worry." Jennifer stood and left the room. If he didn't understand she was not afraid then so be it. If anything she was more curious about this Lynn than the woman. Why her? What could someone see in her? She was a forty one year old woman with grown children. Men always look for the younger women not her. She felt average never special. Lost in her own thoughts she took her shower and shaved. When she came out of the shower there was a dress laying across the bed. It looked heavy. It had several layers to it. There was a long cream colored dress, a dark brown skirt, a black corset that laced and a green plain sash. It made her think of an Irish lass outfit. There was even a pair of leather shoes and cotton leggings. She was looking at the legging when Elizabeth walked in. "Have a seat and I will get the hair done." "Why are you doing this?" "I am supposed to get everyone ready. You think you are the only one I had to get costumes for?" "You don't like me so I can get myself ready." "I am here to get you dressed and ready just sit." Jennifer was tired of it all. She sat down and closed her eyes. If the woman was going to be so demanding she wasn't going to talk and she would just let her do whatever she planed. She could feel her working on her hair. It felt like only minutes when she had her stand. She fit each piece on her. She tied the corset a bit tight but Jennifer didn't say a word. She didn't know why the woman didn't care for her and in truth she wasn't going to worry about it. After tomorrow she would leave and never see her again. Once she had all the cloths on Jennifer felt the heaviness of it all. She finally had her set again and place a mask on her face. Jennifer heard the door shut before she looked around again. She finally got up and looked at herself. She liked the costume except for the mask. It didn't go with the rest of her outfit. It was royal purple with gold trim. There wasn't purple in any of the rest of her outfit at all. It actually was ugly next to the green in her wrap. She was about to take it off when she heard a knock at her door. Turning around she found Tony at her door looking at her. "You look lovely miss, or should I say lass?" She could see the joy in his eyes. "I don't think the mask goes with it though." "Oh it will miss, you will see. The others are waiting downstairs for you." She walked to the door and then into the hall with him. As they began walking to the stairs she asked, "Are you not coming with us?" "No." They stopped at the top of the stairs. Tony turned to her and told her everything would be fine and then went back down the hall towards the rooms that had been her home for the last two days. She felt nervous. Gathering her courage she turned and began to descend the stairs. Halfway down she heard Ammon tell Lynn and Elizabeth to meet him in the car. She stopped till she heard the door shut. "You can come on down Jennifer, they are outside." She continued down the stairs till she could see him. He was dressed as a nobleman. He even had one of those stupid white curly wigs. He also had a matching mask on. "You look lovely," he said. "I guess the masks are for a reason?" "Yes. Everyone there will understand who you are with. You will be safer that way. Though I must warn you that you should have one of the three of us with you throughout the evening." "Am I in danger at this party?" "I think other males will be in more danger than you will be." He made a face she didn't understand. "I must warn you about what will happen this evening before we go. All of us who do find our mates are rather possessive, even more than we naturally are. In this case he will be even more than that because you are not mated yet. He will not even want me near you. It is only my command that has kept him from taking you already. He is one of the most aggressive that I have meet in my lifetime." "So you are saying not to talk to any other men while we are there?" Ammon smiled at her, "That would probably be best." "Yet because of you he will not be able to speak till midnight, right?" "Yes." She wasn't sure what was going to happen tonight but she felt sure she wasn't going to like things. Ammon led her out the door without even touching her. She knew he was old, and powerful but she could almost feel the anger coming from the limo waiting for them. She had never been in one herself but she had seen plenty. This one was solid black with dark tinted windows. Ammon allowed her to enter first. As she climbed in she found a hand waiting for her. She took the hand and felt warmth surge through her at the touch. She looked up to see the man that Ammon told her about this morning. Lynn, she was sure. He gently pulled her toward his side of the limo. She sat down and tried not looking at him. Elizabeth was across from him and Ammon took the seat across from her. She could nearly feel him watching her. She looked at his hands. They were strong hands without any marks on them. He was so still next to her. She had never seen someone so still in her life. Halloween Weekend Ch. 02 The drive was very quiet as no one spoke. She looked out the window a few times but she wasn't sure where they were going. They finally pulled into an underground parking garage. They stopped next to an elevator door. They all got out and went up the elevator. Upon getting out Jennifer could hear music. There was a set of large doors just outside the elevator with two men standing guard. Ammon walked up to the door and the men opened the door for them. Once inside it was full of lights and people. There were some dancing, some talking and some sitting at tables. She was surprised by all the people. She wasn't really a party person at all. She felt out of her area. Ammon and Elizabeth moved but Jennifer never noticed. She also didn't notice when Lynn's hand pressed against her back and led her to the table with the others. He pulled the chair out for her. He couldn't take his eyes off of her even as he watched everyone near them. It was all he could do to not pick her up and take her somewhere alone. It was killing him to see anyone near her even Ammon. Jennifer watched everyone for what seemed like forever. She was amazed at the differences and the similarities. She could see could see the same look in all the vampire's eyes. It was the most common thing they all had. Yet she also saw some had more of the look than others. When someone came over to talk with Ammon they all seemed to make a point of staying away from Lynn. She had been trying not to look at him. They couldn't have a normal conversation so she just couldn't figure out how to talk to him. She was still trying not to look at him when she noticed a redhead across the room lean into another woman and sank her fangs in and began to drink she was sure. She continued to look for a few moments till she felt a hand touch her own. When she looked down it was Lynn's hand on her own. She looked up and noticed the same blue eyes as earlier but they seemed darker. She couldn't stop herself. She felt safe the moment his hand touched hers. With no fear she asked, "She is drinking isn't she?" Lynn nodded his head. He wanted so much to take her away and tell her so many things but still he could not. If Ammon had not made it where he couldn't talk to her till Ammon wanted he would have taken her years ago. It had been Ammon who locked him from her in the beginning. When he first woke and found he was a vampire Ammon had made him unable to approach anyone from his past. If he had known then what it would mean he would have never agreed. He bound him to his word until a few weeks ago when they came here so very close to her. His only chance. She was curious and she wasn't afraid. Jennifer noticed someone look her way. When she looked up another male vampire was looking at her but quickly looked at Lynn and looked away. "They can hear me can't they?" Again Lynn nodded his head but this time he squeezed her hand gently. She was at least looking at him and talking to him. He didn't want her to stop. Yet without being able to talk to her till midnight his hands were tied so to speak. He slowly stroked her hand. Jennifer didn't like others hearing her even if she felt safe. Instead she decided to get some information about this vampire. "Do you remember much about your life before you were turned?" Lynn took his hand and brought two fingers together. He remembered some but the memories had faded over the few years he had been a vampire. One of the few memories that had not faded was her. "I guess there are things that are good to forget, though I must admit I would regret forgetting some things." Lynn nodded again. Lynn knew she was right. He was glad he had forgotten some of his own past. He squeezed her hand again to reassure her. Jennifer continued to ask questions. Some were harder for him to answer than others but he answered as best he could. She seemed to be comfortable with him. He knew the time was getting closer to midnight and he was anxious for it to happen so he could talk to her normally. He was also unsure if she would accept him when she saw him. He would not live without her but he also would not force her. He would watch over her if he had to till she was gone then he would follow her. I am going to ask her to dance before you do. Ammon thought to Lynn. Mine. I have a few questions for her that you can listen to before you dance with her. No. It isn't a request. Just letting you know before I ask. "Jennifer would you like to dance." "I don't dance very well." "I am sure you will do fine." He reached for her hand. Calm my friend, just listen to the answers. Jennifer could see and feel that Lynn didn't like this at all. He squeezed her hand even tighter as she stood. She looked at him and smiled to try and reassure him. Ammon had told her that he would try to be possessive of her. She read in his eyes that he didn't want to let her go. "It's just a dance." His only response was to squeeze her hand again and then release it. Ammon led her to the dance floor with ease. She was very lovely but he kept those thoughts to himself for the moment. He knew Lynn was fighting every instinct in him to allow this. He swirled her onto the floor just as the new song was starting. "You know he doesn't like this, right?" "Yes. It seems the two of you are getting along quite well." "He is nice but that doesn't mean I am looking for a relationship with anyone." "Sometimes what we are looking for is right infront of us." "And sometimes things just do not change." "If you could have what you wanted would you not go after it?" "It doesn't matter what I want, there is no possibility of it now." She knew she sounded defeated but it was how she felt. "Well it looked like you were holding hands for a long time." This caught Jennifer off guard. "It doesn't mean anything." She could try to fool herself, at least for a moment. She didn't want to admit how much she enjoyed holding his hand. "And yet you told him it was only a dance." "You told me he would be possessive around me and I could see in his eyes that you were right. I didn't think it would be the best thing if he got mad." "I am sure that is what you were thinking." Jennifer wasn't about to let him know that she felt warm, safe and drawn to the man. She wasn't even sure why that was herself. The sound they were dancing to ended and they were standing when a sound she knew very well came on. Ammon saw Lynn walking up to the two of them. He knew it was almost midnight and that he was becoming more impatient by the minute. "Looks like someone wants to cut in." Just as Lynn was about to take her hand she walked to the doors leading out to the balcony. Both men followed her. She couldn't bring herself to dance with anyone to this sound and it was brining her near tears to listen to it. Once on the balcony she looked up into the sky at the stars. She knew the men had followed her. She didn't want them around. She needed the fresh air. "Are you ok?" Ammon asked. No. She wasn't sure if she would ever be ok ever again. "I just need a few moments. Please just leave me alone for a few moments." Ammon looked at her then looked at Lynn who was watching her intently. He could feel the pain coming off of her and the longing. He walked back into the room. No one would even get close as long as Lynn was in the mood he was in. Not unless they wanted to die. Jennifer knew he had stayed. She couldn't explain it but she just knew. It was as if she could feel him. She looked down. She could see lights from cars. It was several stories up but the drop was exhilarating. Returning her eyes to the stars she wished for sleep. Halloween Weekend: Sunday Sunday "Tell me please." Lynn asked. He knew she was upset. It was finally midnight, and he had no restraints on him from Ammon. He took off his mask and laid it on a chair. He wanted her to see him. He needed her. The longing in him was building more than he had ever felt before. It was beyond need but a driving force. Jennifer barely heard him. She could still hear the song as it ended. She knew she needed to get herself under control. She didn't let anyone see her break down. She could hurt but others couldn't see it. She was used to hiding her pain. This wasn't like her. She learned a long time ago how to keep her emotions to herself. "I will be fine." "Look at me." It was a command. She could feel it but she continued to look at the stars. She closed her eyes to the stars as she turned to face him. She didn't want him to see the pain in her eyes. Her heart wasn't in it. The moment she turned around Lynn couldn't help himself. Her head was turned up still and her lips were too inviting for him to even think to stop. He needed her and so he leaned down. The moment his lips touched hers heat filled him. She tasted like honey. The hunger in him to take her right then was almost too much for him. It was all he could do to not sink his teeth into her. Then her arms went around him and she responded to his kiss. She was kissing him as hungrily as he was her. He could feel her need and then suddenly she was like stone. She wasn't even breathing. He didn't know what happened. He tried to kiss her lightly one more time. But she didn't respond. He pulled away only an inch to look at her. She hadn't moved. She was just standing there. Her breathing finally returned but she still she was like stone, unmoving. "Are you ok?" he asked softly. Jennifer felt his lips touch hers and she was overwhelmed with a need to return the kiss. Her arms found their way around his neck and she found herself responding to his kiss before she knew it. Then just as quickly she remembered Ammon's words to her just minutes before, Sometimes what we are looking for is right in front of us. She knew in that moment who was kissing her yet she didn't dare believe. She tried to tell herself it was only her imagination and yet Ammon was real. If I dare to hope I will lose my mind when it is not real, she told herself. She could feel herself holding on by a mere thread at that moment. It would be easier to jump off the balcony than look at the man holding her at that moment. Then she heard his question. She listened to the voice more than she had all evening. Her ears were even against her. She heard his voice. It enveloped her. Her longing increased a hundred fold. No I am not ok, she thought. For the first time since his change Lynn heard another voice in his mind other than Ammon. He had never even heard any of the other vampires he had met. She was not ok. She thought it as clear as Ammon ever thought to him. His heart broke. He had to make things better for her. He didn't want her to hurt anymore and not because of him. "Look at me!" He sent the command verbally as well as into her mind. He felt her resistance. Jennifer tried to not look at him. She felt his voice in her and around her. It was as if he was caressing her with just his voice. She didn't want her world to fall apart and looking at him was going to do it. She still had her arms around his neck and she her head was still tilted to his face. All she had to do was open her eyes but she was finding it ever so hard to do. He can't be holding me, she thought. Lynn heard hear plea to herself. She was trying hard not to do what he wanted her to do. She was so strong willed. Yet he didn't want to force her more. He wanted her to want him. Jennifer decided that she would have to eventually. He was holding her and she knew that she couldn't just get away from him. She opened her eyes to the same storm cloud eyes that she knew in her heart since junior high. Those eyes had been in every dream since. He was worried. She could see it in his eyes and feel it in the way he was holding her. Her world changed in the blink of an eye. Her arms slowly released around his neck. Her hands moved to each side of his face. She had to touch him more just to make sure he was real. She slowly ran her hands across his face. She traced his lips that had been against her own just moments before. Are you real, she thought to herself. She hoped so with everything she was. Yes love I am, he thought. It was wonderful to hear her. His lips hadn't moved yet she heard him. She knew it wasn't possible and yet she had heard him clearly. She was torn between asking what happened and kissing him again. She hungered for his lips against hers again. She couldn't understand what had happened and how she could be given this second chance to be with him. Her thoughts ran circles. Suddenly all thought left her as his lips returned to hers. She melted into him hoping that the moment would never end. The moment Lynn felt her need he couldn't have stopped himself if he tried. He wanted it as much as she did. The moment their lips reconnected it was as if an electrical current was being pumped into him. His blood was on fire with need of her. He wanted to show her his own need yet they were surrounded by too many unmated male vampires. He knew Ammon was unmated and one of the strongest in the room. He need to take her away from here. Yet he also didn't want to release her lips. The fire was building in him and he knew if he was to contain his control he would have to release her lips. He slowly pulled away from her. He could hear her heart beating wildly. He also knew that his own heart was beating in time with hers. Both of them racing. Lynn looked down at her. Her face was flushed and her lips were softly bruised making them redder. She was lovely and his. "How about we go back to the house?" He waited for the answer. Hoping she said yes. Needing her to want him. She could only smile and nod at him. She would go anywhere with him as long as she was with him. He wrapped his arm around her an led her back into the room. I am taking her back to the house, he thought to Ammon. He found he was the only other he had ever been able to thought talk to. Remember she must agree, Ammon reminded him. I know. Jennifer knew Lynn didn't like the others near her the moment they entered the room. She noticed several moved away from the two of them. There was a tension in the air as he led her to the elevator. There was no one in the elevator as they entered. He pulled her to him. Her back pressed into him. He smelled so good to her. She could feel his warm breath in her ear. She leaned into him. She wanted to reach up and run her hands over his face again and through his hair. She wanted to strip him and run her hands along his entire body feeling ever part of him. "Keep thinking those thoughts and we will never make it to the limo let alone the house." His heart was beating faster with every thought she had. It was nearly impossible not to rip her clothes off right there. He couldn't help the smile that was plastered across his face knowing that she was thinking of him just as he was thinking of her. He could only hope he could wait till they did get to the house. She was making it very hard to do with the thoughts she had. "Hmmm? What do you mean?" "I am fighting not to rip your clothes off and have my way with you, but the images you are sending me are making it very difficult not to just have my way with you right here woman." "You mean you can hear what I am thinking?" "Yes." His smile grew larger as he heard the intake of her breath. She smelled so good to him. He wanted to taste her too. To feel her blood flowing through him. Jennifer was surprised. He could hear what she was thinking. She needed to change the subject then. She remembered his hands had been perfect, no marks on them. She wanted proof and this was the perfect to take care of two things at once. So, what happened to all your tattoos then, she thought. They went away when I was changed. He knew why she asked this way. She didn't believe he was real to begin with and he was prepared to show her just how real she was. She looked up at him. It was something she wasn't expecting. She heard his voice in her mind. She even felt it as it warmed her from the inside out. His love came with the words. She tightened her arms around his. She would have asked more questions but the doors opened at that moment and the limo was waiting for them. Lynn guided her to the door as it was opened for them. She went to sit one of the seats but he reached for her and pulled her into his lap. He might be having trouble waiting till they were back at the house but with her on his lap it helped. He could smell her. She smelled sweeter than the sweetest smell he had ever smelt. He could imagine just how sweet her blood would be. Jennifer could feel his hard body against hers. She had wrapped her arms around his neck the moment she ended up in his lap. She was trying very hard not to think about what she really wanted to do to him. Just sitting in his lap was heaven for her. The drive to the house seemed so short compared to the drive to the party. The door opened and Lynn let Jennifer get out first. Once he got out though he couldn't resist the urge to pick her up and carry her into the house. Tony opened the door for them with a smile. Lynn didn't say anything. He continued up the stairs with her in his arms. Jennifer was surprised that he didn't put her down till they were in the room she had been in for the last few days. She felt the covers under her as he placed her on the bed. She reached up to touch his face. His face was smooth. His eyes were dark. Darker than usual. "I want you." Jennifer smiled at him. She couldn't believe he was here before her. She needed him more than he could know. She had been dead in many ways the last five years. She hadn't felt much of anything. Yet now her heart was beating a mile a minute. Her body felt like it had an electrical current running through it setting her blood on fire with need to have him. Her body nearly hummed under his touch. She reached out to touch his face. The current between them pulsing. Lying beside her he leaned in to her lips. Possessively he devoured them. His hands intertwined in her hair. Pulling her body even closer to him. He couldn't get her close enough. As he released her lips he trailed kisses along her neck. Each kiss giving him her scent. He wanted to sink his fangs in and taste her too. Reaching the front of her neck he pulled away to look down at her. The need in her eyes made him smile. Jennifer felt like she was on fire. Between kissing his lips and feeling his lips go lightly down her neck had her needing him desperately. When he pulled back from her she let out a soft whine. She was sure he heard it by the look on his face. Don't tease me love. I need you. As you wish love. Lynn pulled her up into a sitting position. He touched her cheek with his hand then runs it slowly down her neck to the ties on the front of her costume. He deliberately untied them slowly. He wanted her to beg and he had every intention of keeping her on edge till he took her over the edge with him. She reached up to help him undo the ties but he held her hands in one hand. "I want to do this." "You are going to kill me." Lynn chuckled. "No I am going to make you beg." Jennifer was shocked that he was making her wait. Did he have any idea how frustrated she was? She didn't think so. She wanted him and she wasn't sure she could wait. She relaxed her hands. Fighting him would be impossible. He was too strong for her. Finally Lynn got the strings released and he took off the outer top. Then he untied the tie of her skirt and pushed her back on the bed so he could slip it down her legs. Then while she is still lying back on the bed he worked slowly up her legs pushing the final under dress up her body. Slowly running his hands along the outside of her thighs to keep her on the edge. She was already moaning with his touch. Her moans were making his own blood boil with need. His own erection was already becoming painful with need. He wanted to sink it deep in her wet folds. As the dress moved up to show her trim bush he could see she was already wet with her own need. Her scent was driving him close to his own edge. Jennifer could handle it no longer. "Please." She begged. He had her already wetter than she had been in a long time. She couldn't wait any longer. With his own need for her building with each touch he took mercy on her. He pulled the under dress off and took one of her breasts into his mouth. Her answering moan hurried his need along. Moving to her other breast he began untying his own strings to the kilt of his costume. He knew he could just pull it up but he wanted bare flesh against bare flesh. Feeling her against him. As he released her second breast he ripped his shirt off in his hurry to have her. Kneeling between her legs he bent down and ran his tongue along her wet heated center. Her taste was heady. It only made him want more. Yet his more pressing need was to be buried deep inside of her. Instead of stopping with her wet center he continued up her body. She was wiggling beneath him. Jennifer nearly came undone when his tongue touched her wet center. She needed more of him. He was making her burn. As his tongue continued up her body she couldn't help but wiggle. She was moaning with each moment up her body. His hands moved to each of her breasts massaging each as his tongue continued to her mouth. She was painting as he claimed her lips again. She could feel his shaft as it came near her wetness. She arched her back and tried to push back into him. The moment he felt her arch into him Lynn drove home in one swift move. It was like finally being home. As if he had found his other half. He was complete. He barely heard her loud moan as his own escaped his lips. Jennifer felt full and complete as she felt Lynn drive his erection deep into her warm wet hole. It felt so good she nearly blacked out. Then he began to move within her. She could feel him pull nearly all the way out slowly then back in. It was heaven. He increased his pace at a steady pace until he was pounding into her at a brutal pace. His hands holding her hips. Finally they both exploded in a mind blowing explosion filling her and both howling with the intensity of their love making. Lynn fell forward over Jennifer as he felt her inner muscles tighten along his shaft milking him for all their worth. Keeping his weight off of her, breathing in the smell of the two of them he was overwhelmed with the feel of her. Turning slowly and pulling her with him till he was lying on his back with her lying across his chest with him still inside of her. He could hear her heart beating rapidly. Kissing her ear he felt her relax and fall asleep on top of him. Jennifer moved with Lynn as he turned them over till she was lying on his chest with his erection still inside of her. She felt overwhelmed. She was more than sated. She was nearly as pliable as warm butter. Her legs wouldn't move if she tried at this point. She felt his lips on her ear just before she let her body take over to fall asleep on him. ** ** Jennifer woke to the sound of arguing. She knew it was Lynn and Ammon. She could feel Lynn's fear and anger in herself. She couldn't understand why though. She looked around to find there was sunshine coming through the closed curtains on the balcony doors. It was well into the day she knew. When she sat up she saw her things on a chair near the bed. Her purse and clothes. It felt like ages ago since she had worn them. So much had changed in such a short time. She put on the soft bathrobe that was also on the chair and walked to the room where the arguing was going on. As she got closer the more she understood what was being said. Lynn didn't want something to happen and Ammon was trying to point out that it was probably inevitable at this point. "NO. I will not let her take the risk." Lynn said. "Not your choice my friend. She must decided for herself." Ammon replied. Jennifer knew it that moment what was being discussed. Her being turned. She knew in her very soul what her answer would be and she wasn't going to wait. First one question had to be answered. She walked into the room and both vampires turned to look at her. She walked up to Lynn. She told herself a long time ago if she could have done things different she wouldn't let him get away and she would open her heart completely to him. "Do you love me?" It was a simple question and yet it had such power too she knew. Lynn could feel her the moment she walked into the room. His blood on fire again. Yet her question made him hesitate and tremble. Of course he loved her, how could she not know. He needed her but he wouldn't put her life at risk through the change. She was watching him. She wanted an answer. "Yes." He answered simply. Yet he could see something in her eyes when he answered. A fire in her blue eyes. "Then why are you fighting to not let me be with you forever?" "Yet you could not survive. Then where would you be?" "At peace. I love you with everything I am but you will live a long time and in this body I will not. I will not lose you again. I would rather die than be alone again." She didn't give him time to argue. She turned toward Ammon. "If he will not will you?" Lynn was quick to respond. "NO." He was standing between her and Ammon in the blink of an eye. His voice softened as he looked into her eyes. "You are mine. No one will ever taste you but me." "Then I will survive or pass into the darkness in your arms. Either way I will be at peace. You have always been my soul. Without you I am nothing." "No. listen it is too much of a risk." Jennifer knew he was afraid. She could feel it. "How about a compromise?" Ammon asked. Both Lynn and Jennifer looked at him. Both wondered what he could have in mind. "How about a week to wait. Stay together and see if what the two of you are feeling is real and then decide. I will return and help with the transition. If it works, good. If not I will finish what I promised." The two looked at each other. Both wanting their own way but both stubborn. Finally it was Jennifer who broke the ice. "I can agree to that as long as you promise that you will return next weekend to complete this." Lynn growled. I don't like it but you are going to be stubborn aren't you? Jennifer only smiled and leaned into him and kissed him softly on his lips. Lynn's response was to devour her lips. He needed her. He was desperate to posses her yet he was afraid to lose her too. After both agreeing to Ammon's compromise each of them gathered what belongings they had. Jennifer headed home with Lynn following her in his own vehicle. Jennifer felt giddy. Her heart was racing with thoughts of having him with her. She knew he was behind her. Her thoughts kept going to thoughts of his glorious body naked beside her. It is a good thing you are in a different truck otherwise I we would never make it to the house. MMMM... I can't wait to get to the house. She knew she would be in bed for what was left of the day and she could only smile about it. She may be sore in places but she was already anticipating more. For her the drive was too slow but speeding would make it longer if she got pulled over. She had gotten a taste earlier so she could be patient till then. Once home she tried to keep her mind on the things she needed to get done at home. Her animals didn't seem too bad off even though she had been gone a couple of days. Did someone take care of my animals while you had me under house arrest? Halloween Weekend: Sunday Yes love. I would not let anything happen to them. I knew you cared for them. Jennifer could hear the smile she knew he had on his face. He had told her that he had watched over her for the last year. She could only wish he had taken her sooner. He was inside putting away things and she was outside taking care of the animals. Coming in soon or am I going to have and come get you. I miss you. I am on my way. Be patient. I have missed you too long to be patient when you are away from me. I am not that far. Too far for me. Jennifer was surprised when she got inside. He was sitting on the couch in nothing but a silk robe. There were candles and music on. She could only smile as she walked over to him. "Comfortable?" "Not yet. You are still dressed." She could see the desire in his eyes and she knew that look was all it would ever take for her to melt. She slowly took off her clothes before him. Laying each on the back of a chair. He was growling well before she finished. Just as she laid the last of her clothes on the chair she was grabbed from behind and pulled onto his lap. She wrapped her hands around his neck and snuggled into him. It was just right. She kissed his neck lightly then nibbled on his neck biting gently. He let out a soft growl of approval that she smiled at. She blew her own warm breath into his ear and then whispered, "Feels like you want something love." She could feel his erection growing beneath her. "You made me go way too fast this morning. I am going to take my time this time and you will be begging long before I am done with you." "MMMM. If I remember I did beg." "Not nearly enough." Lynn captured her lips as he began to stand with her in his arms. Kissing her the entire way to the bedroom that was also lighted by nothing but candles. She was so warm next to him. Both hearts beating in time with the other. He hadn't tasted her this morning and he was determined to do so this time. He sat on the edge of the bed with her still in his lap. Taking a free hand he began caressing her breast. Taking his fingers and gently tweaking her nipples to a hard point. He could hear her soft moans begin even as they kissed. He released her lips to notice that they were slightly puffy from the force of their kissing. He could see her breathing hard. He had every intention of her breathing even harder. Leaning backwards and twisting he had her lying on the bed next to him in a moment. His hand letting her breast go as it caressed down the side of her torso as his mouth covered her other breast to suckle. He heard her suck in her breath as his lips found her nipple. Jennifer was on fire already with just his touch. She wanted all of him. Needing every part of him. She wanted to taste him, love him, take him deep within her warmth and over the edge again. His lips upon her breast had her sucking in her breath, but that was nothing compared to the moment his hand found her wet center. The electric pulse was almost her breaking point. Nearly cumming right then. He was gentle yet demanding. She wanted him to claim her. To make her his. At first he only caressed her lower lips. Running them slowly up and down the edges. Making her begin to pant. He suckled harder just as a finger entered within her warmth. She tried to arch her back into him but his mouth on her breast kept her in place. He slowly entered her with one finger, slowly worked in and out of her. Her moans were coming out louder. It felt so good. Lynn released one breast and moved to the other breast as he plunged a second finger into her wetness. She had him burning with need. His erection falling against her thigh had her body jumping. He could feel her need building. He released her breast with a kiss as his fingers continued to go in and out of her slowly. He then trailed kisses between her breast and moved slowly down. With each kiss he would plunge into her and move down as he pulled out. He could taste her heady need building. Once he reached her trim bush he plunged a third finger in and nearly came off the mattress. He chuckled as he kissed her again on bush softly. Pulling his fingers out he locked eyes with her as he licked his fingers, smiling as he saw the heat within her eyes. He pulled her legs apart gently. Kissing each inner thigh before he licked her slit from bottom to top. Then returning to her wet center before plunging his tongue into her hole. Delving deeply he could taste her. She was his and he was going to make sure no one ever had her again. He would never share her with anyone. Pulling his tongue out and sliding up to her clit he began to suckle as his fingers returned to plunge into her wet warmth. Jennifer came off the bed as he put his fingers back into her as his mouth captured her clit and began to suckle. She was losing the battle with keeping it together as he was taking her. His tongue was a warm heat that had her own burning. His fingers were a wicked tool that was driving her need to the breaking point. Her hands twined into his hair. He was making her cum and need him deep within her. Finally she could take it no more. Pulling his hair to pull him up. The moment Lynn felt her pulling on his hair he knew he had her. Lifting his head he continued to enter her with his fingers as he began to kiss his way back up her. He continued to plunge into her as he kissed and moved up as he pulled out again. He knew he was making her need even more. As he returned to her breast he couldn't resist suckling on each again as he picked up his finger pace within her only as he suckled. Her breath was coming out heavily. He continued up to her neck as he released her wet heat. His fingers coming to his mouth again to clean them off of her heady taste. He wanted to taste both tastes together. He whispered in her ear, "What do you need love?" He knew he had a devilish grin on his face. "Yyyou." "Line me up with what you want." He could feel her hand grasp his nearly painful erection. She placed it right up against her wet center. She was moaning as she did. He refused to push in. "What do you want me to do with that?" He wanted to hear her say what she needed. "Please take me. I need you deep within me. Please don't tease me any longer." His lips came over the pulse on her neck. He was determined to have all of her this time. He slowly pushed only the head in letting it sit for a moment. His resolve lost after only a few moments as he plunged his hard erection as deep as he could just as he sank his fangs into her neck. The taste of her lower wetness mixed with her blood as it ran down his throat. He slowly pulled halfway out as he suckled deeply. Pulling his teeth out as he took only what he needed this time. Licking her neck to heal the small holes he had made as he plunged back into her. Jennifer felt his fangs enter her neck at the same moment his thick erection did and her world exploded. The intensity of the current running through her increased. Then his strokes began to quicken as he drove into her. She screamed as her orgasm hit her at the same moment that she felt his own as he flooded her with his seed. She could feel the pulse of him within her as her own muscles milked him of every last drop. She was panting so much it was difficult to breathe. Opening her eyes she found him smiling at her. "Mine." He said. She wasn't afraid. She knew he was right but at the same time he was hers too. She couldn't find her breath to say a word so she simply thought, as you are mine. Forever! The two of them laid there for a time. Lynn finally got up and blew all the candles out before returning to bed. He pulled her close into his arm. His semi-stiff cock laying against her back as his arm reached around to cup her breast. He could feel her exhaustion. He would let her sleep but he also couldn't wait to have her again. He couldn't seem to get enough of her. He felt her arm tighten against his arm. Jennifer couldn't believe how this Halloween had turned out. She was not in bed alone for the first time in five years. She was truly happy. Actually happy didn't begin to describe how she felt. The man she loved was holding her tightly in his arms. She had to wait a week before he would attempt to turn her but that was only a few days in the bigger scheme of things for her. Lynn had insisted on Ammon being there when he made her truly his he had told her. That way if she didn't make it Ammon could keep his promise to Lynn and ending the pain for him. She didn't like the thought but she had spent five years thinking he was dead so she understood his reason. She was deliciously sore all over. She needed to sleep but she was still afraid when she woke up he would be gone. "Woman go to sleep, I will not be letting you out of my sight till you are changed or we are both gone." Lynn said. "That last part isn't funny" "No but true. I will not live without you ever again." "I love you too." Jennifer drifted off to sleep with warmth and a desire for the week to be over. Halloween Weekend "Yes." "Thank you again for helping." "Enough miss, it is what I do. I do not need praise." "I am sorry Tony. I have never had such treatment. It is all new to me." "I understand. I will leave you to finding a book." With that he left the room. She was alone again. It was almost a relief in some ways. She wasn't sure that being here was anything but a stopping point to something worse. Ammon said she could go on Sunday but she wasn't really sure that was what he would do. She took the bowl of popcorn and soda and placed it on a table next to a couch on an end table. She wanted to be comfortable while she read but if she didn't find anything then she could always turn on the TV in her room and watch a movie instead. She continued to walk around the room till she got near the desk. On it was a book. It looked well made and new. It didn't have a title on it, instead it had a symbol. It was one she remembered from a movie she saw. It was the all seeing eye of the Egyptian god, Ra. She started to read. She moved to the couch and got comfortable. As she read she noticed the story never mentioned a name of the main character. The entire story read more like someone's journal. It talked of how he grew up in ancient Egypt, in the time of the pharoes. How when he was turned into a vampire by an Egyptian priestess. How in time he left and traveled the world. Finally she was reading how he came to the new world when a knock at the door brought her back to the present. She smiled when she saw Tony. "Is the party still going?" "The guests are leaving. I thought you would have gone to bed long ago." "What time is it?" "Nearly midnight." She realized that she had been reading for nearly six hours. She had a habit of doing this when she was reading. As if her body was confirming this fact she let out a large yawn. "I guess I have been reading a long time. I guess I better get some sleep." Tony smiled at her as he nodded. "I think you are right miss. I will clean up in here. You go on to bed." She almost thanked the man again until she finally just smiled at him. She returned the book to the desk and left the room. She hadn't realized that she was as tired as she was. Her bed looked so inviting. She pulled off the robe and climbed into bed in her satin gown. The sheets were cozy and the bed was so very soft. The pillows let her sink into them. They were feather pillows. It was like laying on a soft cloud if she could, she thought. She didn't think it would take long to fall asleep. As she drifted off to sleep she thought of nothing but the soft, comfort she was feeling in this large bed. to be continued...
