I've read many beautiful stories and felt many emotions as I have gone through them. Love, Loss, Happiness, Joy, Pain, Anger, Despair, all kinds of emotions and it just made me want to do something like it. This is my first attempt at writing a story. I plan on expanding on this. But I'd like to see what if people are interested first. This will be a love story that will expand until I can find an end to it. My inspiration was reading "Charles and Claire" by Schuppinzigh a.k.a. Richard King. As well as another story which I can't find anymore, but I remember how it tugged at the heart strings. It just filled me with such emotion. I remember the last line of it very clearly. "'Best of Friends' I said. 'Lovers always.' she added. 'Now and forever.' I finished." This is a tribute to that story. *************************** Prologue: It was a warm Friday night. My wife, Alice, and I were in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner. Our four year old twins, Amy and Ethan, as usual as soon as each were done with their own dinners, ran from the table to go play without even a second glance at their parents. "Always on the move aren't they?" Alice asked me. "Of course they are. When aren't they moving?" I replied with a chuckle. "They remind me a lot of us when we were that age. Remember back in those days, how everything was so much fun between us?" "Of course I do Alice. But if I remember correctly, you and I were not really best friends at that age. That happened later." "That's true, my memory must be going." I walked up and gave her a great big hug. "Nonsense, we all have our forgetful moments. And considering that I'm older than you, I should be the one with the faulty memory, when in fact I can remember most of what happened that has led us to here. So don't worry honey, your memory is not going." "Thanks Jason, you can always cheer me up. Were you serious when you said you could remember all that has led us to here?" "Of course I was. I remember when we first met....." Chapter 1: Alice is Watching It was a normal day in the life of Jason Zanger. At least, as normal as a nine-year-old boy on his first day at a new elementary school, in a whole new town, could be. He was on the short side, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Throughout most of the morning, between getting lost a few times, and other students picking on the new kid, I finally get to homeroom class. Little did I know the pain I was going to endure, or the joys that would become of it. "Hello Jason, glad you could join us." said Ms. Tommy as I walked through the door, late. "Sorry, I'm still not used to the school. I get lost sometimes. It won't happen again." I replied, my face blushing a little under Ms. Tommy's admonishment. "Make sure you do. Luckily, you have not missed the introductions. Take a seat next to Alice in the back, over there." she said pointing to my new seat. I sat down and glanced around the room with my eyes finally settling on Alice, who was staring at me. "What are you looking at?" I asked. "What? Oh... Uh... Nothing." Her face turns bright red and she giggles as she turns away from me towards the front of the room. What was that about? I thought after a few moments. As I work throughout the period, I sometimes catch her watching me out of the corner of my eye. I learned her name was Alice Fieldings and she was ten years old. The staring was kind of bothering me so I decided to talk to her after class was over. After the bell rings, everyone jumps up from their seats and rushes towards the door for recess. All except Alice. Figuring now would be a perfect time to talk to her I made my way back toward her desk and sat in a chair in front of her desk. "Why aren't you going to recess with everyone?" I ask of her. She sort of looks away and mumbles "'Cause I don't want to." "Well, if you say so. I'm going out with the others." I say. I'm walking, almost out of the door now, when I hear a sniffling sound. I turn around and Alice had tears running down her face. I was raised right by my mom so I went back to her side then waited until she looked at me and when she did, I gave her a hug and ask what's wrong. She seems surprised at first, but then she returns my hug and buries her face in my chest. While she tries to get her sniffling under control she says, "I don't have any friends. Nobody likes me. That's why I don't go out for recess. They don't let me play with them and tell me to go somewhere else." I could sympathize with her situation. It was my first day here in this school and the older students have been picking on me all day. So I say, "Why don't we be friends? I just moved here with my family and I don't know anybody here. So it would be nice to have a friend to play with and talk to." A smile lights up Alice's face and she says "Really? I'd love to be your friend! I was hoping you were different from the other kids." "Is that why you kept looking at me during class?" I asked. She giggles as she says "Yeah, it was. Sorry if it bothered you." "I'm Jason Zanger." I say extending my hand. "Alice Fieldings." She replies taking my hand. Chapter 2: Down the Rabbit Hole Alice and I head out to recess together. As we walk outside to the playground some of the older kids and kids from our class were looking at us. I kept thinking; What's their problem? But they did nothing to us so I ignored them. She moved off towards the jungle gym while I headed over the blacktop to shoot some hoops. When the time came for us to come inside, I looked around for Alice. When I saw her she was on the ground crying and she was surrounded by three of the older students. I don't even think about these kids being almost twice my size before I yell "LEAVE HER ALONE!". The three big kids turned around and when they saw me rushing toward them, they laughed. It was then I realized these were the kids that were picking on me earlier. It was then I got scared, but I was still worried about Alice. So defying my brain screaming to run away, I go up to them and say "You better leave her alone." "Or what, you'll go and tell to a teacher?" "Go away half-pint, we weren't done with her yet." he jeers as he gives me a shove to the ground. What happened next still surprises me when I think about it years later. I'm back on my feet ready to fight with my limited skills in martial arts when all of a sudden, Alice screams "You leave him alone!" then she kicks one of them right in the balls. He falls to the ground and as the other two were turned around to go after her, I gave one a swift kick to the stomach causing him to double over at which time I give a side-arm chop to the back of the neck and he goes to the ground. Alice and I share a quick glance at each other to make sure each is all right when we both turn to the third guy. He grabs his other two friends and decides to run away. With the fight over I immediately rush to Alice's side and ask, "Alice! Are you OK? Did they hurt you?" She shakes her head no and gives me a big hug and a kiss on the lips. Now I'm blushing like crazy. She's giggling and I ask why she did that. She replies, "It's just like in the movies, a knight in shining armor rescues a damsel in distress and the damsel gives him a kiss and they live happily ever after." With her blushing now she says, "My rescuer deserves a kiss." Still blushing, but laughing now, I say "I think we will be best friends forever Alice." "Best of Friends!" said Alice. "Now and Forever." I replied Best of Friends, Now and Forever Ch. 03 I'm really starting to like this writing thing. I do have finals and graduation coming up soon so my time for this is very limited. I will keep this up as I can. As I promised, here is the next installment. A big thanks to my editor, JohnnyMax, for his help and suggestions. ***************************** Years passed by, we saw other friends we had come and go. But one thing always remained the same, Alice and I. Ever since that day on the playground we have been inseparable. I found out later that day Alice actually lived near my new house. We were both really happy when we found out... Chapter 3: A New Friend, A New Playmate Alice and I were waiting in the parking lot at school for my mom to come pick us up. It turned out that the bus Alice rides on broke down and it was going to be an hour or so before a different one could come. So all the students on that bus had to either call their parents or wait for the bus. Alice's parents are both working so she was going to wait for the bus. When I found out I went looking for her and asked if she would like to ride with my mom and I if Mom said it was OK. She said yes and that's where we are now. "So Jason, do you think your mom will take me home?" Alice asks, a little worried. "Sure she will. My mom is very nice and she is always telling me I need to make friends. So I don't think she will mind giving my new best friend a ride to her house." I reply confidently. "Why does your mom say you need to make friends? Didn't you have any before you moved here?" "Not really. I've been picked on a lot so I'm very shy around other people and have difficulties talking to them." She hugs me saying "Awwww. That's so sad. I'm sorry about that Jason." "It's no problem. Not anymore." I say while hugging her back. "I've got a new best friend. We will have loads of fun together." During this exchange I did not notice my mom pulling up, nor walking towards us. My mom likes to kid around embarrassing me no end. So when I heard, "Why Jason, got a girlfriend already? When is the wedding? Am I invited?" I quickly let go of Alice and start blushing like crazy and upon noticing this, Alice and my mom started laughing. "Mom! Why did you have to do that?" "Is this your mom Jason?" "Yeah she is. She is the best mom ever but she really likes embarrassing me." "Don't worry about it. After what you did for me, I would like to be your girlfriend but we might be a little young to get married." Alice said giving me another kiss, though on the cheek this time in front of my mom. Bright red again, "Alice! You too?" My mom meanwhile is laughing really hard now and says, "I like her Jason, she is a keeper." I have to agree with her. Alice is really nice and I like her a lot. But I don't say any of this to mom for fear of more embarrassment. "Why don't introduce us Jason." "OK, Alice. This is my mom, Amanda Zanger. And Mom, this is my new best friend Alice Fieldings." "Nice to meet you Ms. Zanger." Mom looks surprised when I say best friend, but it fades and is quickly replaced by a big smile. "It is nice to meet you too Alice. Do you need a ride?" "Yes actually. My bus broke down and the school said it would be an hour before they can send another one and when Jason heard he said he would ask you if you could drop me off at my house." "It's not a problem. Where do you live?" "9024 W. 13th St. right next to the park." "Really? Jason and I live across the street from you at 9027." Then pausing, she asks, "I wonder, Alice, are you parents home?" "No, I'm usually by myself until Mom get off work." When I hear this I excitably ask, "Mom, since Alice lives so close to us can she come home with us until her parents get home?" "I don't see why not." She then turns to Alice and asks, "Do you know your mom's phone number? I can call and ask if it would be all right if were to stay with us until one of your parents get off work." "Really? You'd do that?" Alice beams. "Yeah, her office number is 555-8160. Her name is Sarah." "OK, let me call her real quick." She pulls out her cell phone and starts calling. At which point Alice and I get real quiet so we can hear my mom. "Hello, I'm trying to reach Sarah Fieldings." ... ... "Hello, Ms. Fieldings, my name is Amanda Zanger and my son is friends with your daughter. We moved in a little while ago just across the street from your house." ... .... .... "No, nothing is wrong. I came to pick up my son and it turns out that he's made friends with your daughter. Her bus broke down and it will be an hour before they send a new one." .... .... .... "No, you don't need to pick her up. That's actually why I'm calling. If it is all right with you, I would have no problem with taking Alice home with us until you get off work. My son and she could have some time to play together." .... ... "Really, you don't mind?" .... "OK, thank you." .... .... "Yes, that's our house." ... ... "OK, see you then. Bye." We are both grinning real big right now when mom turns to us she says, "You mom says it is OK for you to stay with us. So let's get going." "Yay!" we shout. We both get in the back seat of my Mom's car and buckle up. Alice and I are talking about stuff like what we like to play with, our favorite toys, tv shows. Just stuff kids talk about when my mom asks, "So Alice. Jason has never had a best friend before and certainly never a girl. He is normally very shy and nervous around girls, especially one as pretty as you. Did something happen I need to know about?" While blushing again, "Mom! You don't need to tell Alice about that!" "It is alright Jason. I kind of figured that already during the introductions in Ms. Tommy's homeroom class. You barely talked loud enough for us to hear you but you looked real nervous and did not look at the other students very much." "Oh, well OK. Sorry for raising my voice Mom." "It's no problem sweetie, I was just teasing you anyway. I'm sorry for interrupting you Alice. Please continue." We spend the trip home each of us talking about what happened before recess and on the playground; Alice crying, my consoling her, the same bullies that picked on me picking on Alice, the fighting, about Alice kissing me and when it was over, our saying we will be best friends now and forever. "Seems like you have had quite a day Jason. You make a new friend and then you rescue her and she gives you your first kiss." "Mom, now why did you have to tell her that was my first kiss?" "It's alright Jason you aren't the first boy that I've kissed, but you were the best one." I look at Alice and she gets a sort of sly grin on her face and asks my mom, "Ms. Zanger, would you mind if I gave Jason his second kiss, so he will feel better." With mom giggling again, "Sure honey I'm sure you will make his day." I don't admit it, but I am looking forward to kissing her again, having grown rather fond of it. Alice looks at me and that sly grin goes away when she sees how nervous I am. She gives me a look that asks "Is it all right with you?" I'm blushing but I do nod. So we lean toward each other and bring our lips together in another kiss, although a much longer one that the other one. Still kissing, I open my eyes and see Alice's staring right back at me with a look in them I've never seen before and don't understand. They are very wide and she seems happy, very happy. I don't understand what it means. After a few more seconds we break apart. Now I'm feeling weird; my heart is beating real fast and I'm sweating a little. I shake my head a little and then I give Alice a big smile while saying, "Thank you Alice." She is still looking at me with that happy expression when she says "I think I'm the one who should be thanking you." I don't understand what she means so I nod and turn to look out the window. As Mom drives onto our street our excitement has returned and we are both ready to go and play. So when we get to my house we both jump out and go inside. We get to my room and we hear my mom jokingly say, "You two better not start making out up there!" I choose to just ignore her but Alice puts on this pouty face towards my mom, who is now standing in the doorway of my room, and asks, "Not even a little?" While giving a wink at Alice, "Well... maybe just a little bit, but don't wear him out, I need his help unpacking later and I don't want his head too high in the clouds." Alice laughs and looks at me while I turn bright red, again. "MOM!" She just giggles and walks off. Best of Friends, Now and Forever Ch. 04 Thanks for all the feedback. I'm terribly sorry it took so long to get this posted. I had senior finals and graduation and they took up a lot of time. But now I'm well into summer vacation and should have more time. As always, thank you to my editor JohnnyMax for his help. -ZM- ************************* A few years have passed since, during which, Alice and I entered puberty. Alice is now 13 and starting to grow breasts. They are still very small but it does not bother Alice, she is constantly doing stuff that draws my attention to them. Then proceeds to embarrass me till my face is as red as a strawberry. I noticed I have not told you what Alice looks like. When her puberty started she grew up to about 4'9" with long brown hair that goes down to the middle of her back. She has a small tan over her usually pale skin. Her eyes though, to this day intrigue me the most. They are the mixture of a sapphire blue mixed with a blue-gray color surrounding the pupils. They mesmerize me and I could get lost staring into those eyes. Her face is very cute still much like a baby's face but it is starting to narrow a bit like faces do when they mature. Myself, I am twelve going on thirteen. I now stand around 5'1" and I'm starting to fill out a little. I am no muscle buff, but I'm not so skinny anymore. I'm rather broad-shouldered and my feet are growing real fast. I have very dark brown hair that is short and combed to the back. I got a small tan on my otherwise pale skin. My face is changing a little too. My jaw is turning into what people call "a square jaw" but it's not quite there yet. Alice thinks I'm going to have chiseled features but I don't think so. I have brown eyes, although they can be a dark green depending on the light. Alice has pointed this out more than once. Many more of the kissing incidents followed and eventually I grew to enjoy them. It was one of these incidents during our summer vacation that something drastically changed me. For better or worse, find out when you read. Ch. 04 Caught Between a Rock and a Hard Place "Hey Jason, let's go play in the pool!" Alice shouted from across the house. "Is it OK, even though your Mom isn't here? It is her pool and I don't want to do something to make her mad! Your mom is almost as scary as my mom when she's mad!" I replied shouting just as loud as Alice. "If it bothers you so much just call her! Sheesh Jason!" I'm looking around for the phone but I don't see it so I shout for Alice. "Hey Alice! I can't find it here! Do you know where it is?" I hear a great deal of clattering around going on upstairs for a minute or so before Alice said; "Oh yeah, I used it to call you over this morning and I guess I forgot to put it back! Hold on! I'll bring it to you!" Alice comes down the stars and comes up to me with the phone in her hand and a mischievous look on her face. I try to take the phone but she pulls away. "Come on Alice, give me the phone please." "Na uh. Don't I get something for the effort of moving my stuff around, finding the phone, then walking all the way down here to give it to you?" Sarcastically now, "Well now what could I possibly have to give you? Oh, wait, maybe the same thing you've been giving me on a near daily basis." Also sarcastic, "Well I suppose that would be okay." Serious now, "But this time you kiss me, I don't kiss you." "Why go through all of this just to get me to kiss you? Have you ever thought of asking me? I might just surprise you with a yes. Try it sometime Alice." "OK, OK, now kiss me." I've got an idea and Alice is going to hate it. I step up to her, slowly wrapping my arm around her and tilting her face up to me. Alice has her eyes closed and slightly puckering her lips. I lean in, and give her a peck on the lips, let go of her and walk off laughing. "Jason! What the heck was that!?! I thought you were going to give me a good kiss with all that slow stuff you were doing! You bugger, you better get back here and give me a good one." "Why don't you ask me later. Let's go play in the pool now." "OK, Jason but I'll get you later." We spend the next several hours playing around in the pool. Talking, laughing, generally having a ton of fun. It's the middle of the afternoon when Alice asked to play racing water tag. Before you ask, yes I played this game myself when we were kids. A friend of mine came up with it one day and we had a lot of fun playing. The name is a little weird but we were kids, we thought it sounded cool. Anyway, racing water tag is a game that starts like any other tag game; one person is chosen as it and the other runs away real quick like. Now what's different is this; it is not restricted to water, you have to make one full lap around the pool before you can get out. At which point your goal is to get to home base as fast as you can before you're tagged. If you don't make it you're it and the game starts all over again. If you do make it, you gain one point. Then the game starts again, except only a half lap to leave the pool this time. You get another point and then the restriction is off. You start in the pool, but you can immediately leave and go for home. The game ends when one person gets three points. Now back to the story. We're splashing around in the pool taking turns trying to dunk one another and wrestling around in the pool. "Hey Alice let's play racing water tag. Base can be the yellow swing hanging from the tree." Giggling now, "Sounds like fun. I want to be it. Get to the middle of the pool so you have a head start. You'll need it when I'm done with you." "Oh really? You might regret that later." So the game started and Alice come shooting towards me, greatly surprising me, so I immediately take off, beginning my lap around the pool while desperately try to avoid Alice. I will never admit it to her, but I definitely needed that head start. I could barely keep ahead of her. Taunting me now, "Jason you better get a move on or I'm definitely gonna get you!" Slightly out of breath, "In your dreams Alice! I'm going to win!" I finish my lap around the pool and get out with Alice right on my tail. I sprint around the pool up to the patio and through the space between the fence to get to the grassy area of the back yard. I make a beeline to the tree with the yellow swing and I look back to see Alice much closer than I thought she'd be. She was barely an arm's length away! But that was the bad thing to do right then. Since the tree we decided to use as home base is really old it has all these roots that stick up from the ground that Alice's mom has to beat down with the rubber mallet. In my hurry to get to the safe area I had forgotten to watch the roots and sure enough, my foot catches on one and I quickly fall towards the ground. With Alice right behind me she tries to catch me to stop me from falling by grabbing on to my trunks, but she gets pulled down to and for some reason I try to twist myself to catch her even though I'm falling over myself. I end up landing on my back with her landing on top of me with her butt right over my crotch. We look at ourselves then at each other to make sure we aren't hurt. Then for some reason we just start laughing. Really hard. The kind of laughing that you can't stop when you've started. Alice is sitting up and clutching her stomach from laughing so hard. Unfortunately all that moving around gave me the instant hardness that pubescent boys are both blessed and cursed with. Laughter fading with giggling replacing it, "Jason are you hard? Did little Alice give you a stiffie?" Face red with embarrassment, "I'm sorry Alice please! Don't be mad I can't help it!" "Don't worry about it about it Jason. Mom told me this might happen one day. It's not a big deal." Slowly moving her butt on my crotch now, "But I do seem to have you trapped don't I? Maybe I should mess with you a little now. Since you were mean to me earlier." This is feeling really good and I know that if she does not get off me I might go off. Begging, "Please Alice don't. Get off it feels too good!" Still wiggling with a voice dripping with sarcasm, "What do you mean it feels too--" Too late. I groaned and started throbbing my release right into my trunks and I'm sure Alice can feel every bit of it. With surprise evident, "Wow you really did didn't you? I didn't think you were that excited." Babbling now, "Please Alice. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to, you were just wiggling around and it felt so good and I couldn't stop and I'm really sorry. You probably hate me now. Let me up and I'll go home. I'm really sorry." I feel horrible and now I feel like I'm going to die of shame. I'm almost crying now. Trying to get my attention during my babbling, "Jason! Jason! It's all right!" She has my attention now and her voice puts on a soothing tone. "It's all right Jason. While I wasn't expecting it to happen, I know why it did and don't worry about it. In fact, I take it as a compliment that you like me so much that you'd get that excited from a little butt wiggling." Hopeful now, "Really? You're not mad? You don't hate me?" "Of course not silly. We're best friends and I'm sure this is not the first time something like this might happen so don't worry. Now will you give me a kiss?" Relieved, then surprised, "Thanks Alice you are- Wait! What? You want me to kiss you?" "Well yeah. You said to ask next time I wanted to." "I remember that but why now?" With cheeks a little pink, "Well to tell you the truth this got me a little excited too and so I want to kiss you. And I want a good one too, like the one you were going to give me earlier before you decided to be a butt." She smiles at me and I smile back. I sit up with her still in my lap and she wraps her arms around me as I slowly turn her face upward towards mine. I look into her eyes with an expression that said 'are you sure' and she gave me a small smile and nodded. So I slowly tilt my face down and bring my lips to hers. Our arms wrap tightly around each other as we gaze into each others eyes. Her beautiful sapphire and gray eyes to my green ones. This feels really good and soon I can feel myself start to get hard again. We break the kiss and Alice giggles. "Maybe we better stop Jason. We don't want things to go too far." "I agree. This had already gone further than it should have. Our parents will kill us if they find out about this. We can't say a word of this to them. I'll never get to see you again." "Agreed. It will be our secret." With a small smile, "But you have to admit that was really fun though." Alice gives me another short kiss and then we separate and go back into the pool to cool off and spend the rest of the afternoon playing and trying to forget this ever happened. Little did they know, that Alice's and Jason's moms we're watching the whole incident from a bedroom window with concerned looks on their faces. Best of Friends, Now and Forever Ch. 05 This is the next installment of my Now and Forever series. I've received a lot of feedback on the last chapter, mostly from anonymous. I want you all to know that while I enjoy getting feedback of any kind, if you don't include an email address in your message I can't get back to you. Also, there has been a few requests for more "sex action" between Alice and Jason. Please remember, they are still minors and I am very limited in what I can include with them due to literotica's policies. This has hindered me a bit, but I will try to keep certain elements without violating the rules. This chapter picks up where the last one ended. If you remember, Alice was teasing Jason and he ended up getting an erection. Instead of getting mad, Alice shrugs it off and teases Jason some more, causing him to orgasm. After the mutual embarrassment they went back to having fun. But their moms, Amanda Zanger and Sara Fieldings were watching from the window. The story starts from their perspectives, but shifts back to Jason. As always, thanks to my editor JohnnyMax for his help. -ZM- ***************************************** Chapter 5: Trouble in Paradise 4: 15 pm - Sara Sara walks in the door still on the phone with her boss. "I'm sorry to hear Matt got sick. Are you sure he won't be able to make it?" ..... "Do you need me to cover for him?" ..... "No, I guess I don't mind. Tomorrow right?" .... "OK bye." I can hear splashing and laughter in the back. "I guess Alice and Jason are still playing. It is starting to get late so maybe Jason should just stay for dinner. I'll invite Amanda too." I walk over to the phone to dial her number. 3: 47 pm - Amanda Walking in the door, I shout out, "I'm home! Jason are you here?" No response. "Huh, guess he's over at Alice's house. Oh well. Now I'll get to watch that soap opera I've been meaning to see." After changing out of her business suit and into a more comfortable blouse and jeans, she settles in to watch her show. About thirty minutes later the phone rings. "Zanger residence, Amanda speaking." "Hello Amanda, it's Sarah." "Hey Sarah. Are you doing OK? Jason is over at your house right?" .... "Really, he's been there all day?" .... "Yeah, they are just bundles of energy at that age. Makes me wish I was young again." .... "I know what you mean. Is Jason going to be home soon?" .... .... "Really? You don't mind making dinner for us?" .... .... .... "I know what you mean, we don't get much company at our house either. I'll tell you what, why don't I come and help you. That way it won't be such a burden." .... "No, I don't mind. It will give us a chance to talk. I'll be there in a few minutes." ... "OK, bye." 4: 23 pm - Sara "Amanda. How are you doing? It's great to see you." "I'm doing fine Sara. How about yourself? Getting tired of the two lovebirds yet?" "Are you kidding? And miss the opportunity to embarrass the heck out of them? No way. Why just the other day I walked in on them kissing each other, again. It was so funny. They did not even notice when I walked in on them." "That sounds like them. What happened?" "Well, I decided to watch them for a bit and let me tell you, they were really kissing. Not light pecks on the lips kissing, but full blown making out kissing. Anyway, I tiptoe real close then yell out 'What the heck do you think you're doing?' They jumped apart then started stuttering and their faces were both bright red looking real scared." "I can't hold it anymore and I just bust up laughing and then it was like watching twins. They went from scared, to confused, to mad, then yelled out 'What did you do that for?' all at the same time. That is when they looked at each other and started laughing. We eventually calmed down and I said sorry for interrupting and walked out. It was so funny." Amanda laughing now, "That is hilarious. I can't believe you did that." Sara chuckling too, "I know. It was mean. But it was so funny." Smiling now, "I tell you, I've never seen Alice so happy as she has been since she met Jason. She was so shy and did not have many friends but now she and Jason are stuck like glue. It makes me really happy." Amanda nodding, "Jason was the same way. He's happier than I've ever seen him. Their faces just light up when they get together. It seems like any day they are going to announce their engagement." Sara throws her hands up saying, "I don't want to think about that for a while." "What do you say we get started with dinner." "Why not. I'll go check on the lovebirds first and I'll be back." 4:30 pm - Amanda I get up and head to the back door when I see them out of the corner of my eye in the window. Just in time to see them fall down with Alice landing on top of Jason. I wonder if they are OK and they start laughing. Guess that answers that, but I wonder why Alice does not get up. "Hey Sara, come here, quickly." Sara rushes in asking, "What's going on? What's wrong?" I point out the window to Alice on top of Jason. "Uh, oh. This could be trouble." "Maybe, but let's just see how this plays out. They don't know we are here. We'll stop them if they go too far." "Open the window so we can hear them." With the window open their voices drift in. We hear Alice giggling, "Jason are you hard? Did little Alice give you a stiffie?" Sara and I both look at each other concerned then back to them so we can hear. "I'm sorry Alice please! Don't be mad I can't help it!" "Don't worry about it about it Jason. Mom told me this might happen one day. It's not a big deal." "But I do seem to have you trapped don't I? Maybe I should mess with you a little now. Since you were mean to me earlier." I look at Sara, concerned. "This may be getting out of hand." Sara quickly shushes me. "Please Alice don't. Get off it feels too good!" "What do you mean it feels too--" We both hear Jason groan and with surprise on our faces, Sara asks, "Did he just do what I think he did?" I shakily reply, "I think he did." Alice sound surprised too when she says, "Wow you really did didn't you? I didn't think you were that excited." "Please Alice. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to, you were just wiggling around and it felt so good and I couldn't stop and I'm really sorry. You probably hate me now. Let me up and I'll go home. I'm really sorry." "Jason! Jason! It's all right!" "It's all right Jason. While I wasn't expecting it to happen, I know why it did and don't worry about it. In fact, I take it as a compliment that you like me so much that you'd get that excited from a little butt wiggling." "Really? You're not mad? You don't hate me?" "Of course not silly. We're best friends and I'm sure this is not the first time something like this might happen so don't worry. Now will you give me a kiss?" "Thanks Alice you are- Wait! What? You want me to kiss you?" "Well yeah. You said to ask next time I wanted to." "I remember that but why now?" "Well to tell you the truth this got me a little excited too and so I want to kiss you. And I want a good one too, like the one you were going to give me earlier before you decided to be a butt." Sara and I both watch as Jason and Alice come together for a romantic kiss and then look at each other in concern when things started heating up between them again. I'm about ready to voice my concern again when Alice breaks the kiss. "Maybe we better stop Jason. We don't want things to go too far." "I agree. This had already gone further than it should have. Our parents will kill us if they find out about this. We can't say a word of this to them. I'll never get to see you again." "Agreed. It will be our secret." "But you have to admit that was really fun though." Sara and I both watch them go back to the pool. With dinner forgotten we both go back to the living room and sit down. "What are we going to do about this? I was hoping this was not going to happen for a while yet." "I know Amanda. But I'm not surprised it did happen, I know that boys can't really control what happens at that age. What I am surprised about is that Alice exacerbated it instead of immediately getting off. Which is what I told her to do if this did happen." "I'm glad you told Alice what to do. I did not even think about Jason going through this." With relief evident, Sara says, "I think they both handled the situation very well though. I am relieved that they knew to keep their boundaries and not go too far. We both told them about boundaries after we caught them a couple years back exploring each other." Amanda nodding, "I suppose they are at that age." "We need to talk to them. Find out what we are going to do." "I agree, might as well do it now." 4:42 pm - Jason Alice and I are both swimming, but not with the same excitement. Even though Alice said it was not big deal, I was still embarrassed. I think Alice knows too, as she is trying to smile and have fun but still she looks at me with a little concern. I try to shrug it off and get back to having fun. We are both racing around the pool when we hear Alice's mom say, "Alice! Jason! Can you come inside please?" We both look at each other shocked because we did not know she was home, and then scared. With her voice quivering, "Jason, you don't think she saw us did she?" "I'm not sure. I guess we have to go find out?" I worriedly reply. We are both out of the water and I see my mom's car through the fence. "Oh no, my mom is here too." With dread now, "They did see us. We are in trouble." Alice and I rush toward each other and come together in a big full body hug. Her budding breasts get me hard again but we both ignore it because of the seriousness of the situation. Tears in our eyes now, I swear to her, "Listen, no matter what happens they won't be able to keep us apart. We belong together." Alice nods and smiles while she says the first part of our promise we made years back; "Best of friends." I reply, "Now and Forever." We kiss each other and get out of the pool. We both go through the usual routine of stripping off our suits and hanging them from the hooks on the fence to dry. We don't mind seeing each other, we both have nothing to hide. We have no secrets. Not with each other, that is our rule. We get our towels and dry ourselves off. The cool air and the looming dread I feel makes my erection go away. Alice giggles and says, "Good. Your stiffie is gone." I agree saying, "Yeah, going in to face our moms with a boner in my shorts is not something I want to go through. That might make it worse." Both of us dry now, we wrap our towels around ourselves and head inside. We walk in the house and find them in the living room. They both are looking at us and seem suspicious that we are walking with only our towels on. That's when I realize that our moms have not seen us do this before. Because when they are here we usually put clothes on when we are done swimming. But in our haste to the pool earlier we forgot to bring our clothes out with us. I look at Alice to see if she figured this out and by the look on her face, she realized it too. She glances at me with a worried look on her face. But looks back at our moms. Alice's mom says, "Kids, why don't you sit down. We need to talk." I groan internally thinking this is what I was afraid of. But we sat down. My mom starts, "Listen, by now I'm sure you realize what we've called you in for. I arrived not long ago and was coming to get you when I saw you two falling over and the events that took place afterward." Sara now, "Amanda and I have talked about it and we've decided to hear your parts first before we figure out if we are going to punish you or not." Alice and I both look at each other and then Alice says, "It's not Jason's fault. We were both playing and I teased him. It was not his fault. We were just having fun." I jump in saying, "Yeah, we were playing racing water tag and I was running and tripped over one of the roots. Alice landed on top of me and things got a little crazy. I did not mean for it to happen, it just did. I was really sorry and Alice said it was no big deal. We agreed that it got a little out of hand but we both decided to just forget about it and move on. Right Alice?" She nods, "Yeah, we both just decided to pretend it never happened and go back to playing. Jason was still a little worried about what happened so I tried to reassure him. It seemed to work and we were having fun again. That's when you called us." Our moms let us talk and don't interrupt us. So when we were finished they both nodded and looked at each other. My mom then said, "Thank you for telling us, we need to talk a little more. Why don't you go back outside for a minute while Sara and I discuss this." I say OK and get up. Alice and I look at each other with fear evident on our faces and go back outside. As soon as we are outside, Alice breaks down and starts crying. Seeing her cry makes me start crying too and so we are both holding each other real close just trying to comfort each other. Alice crying slows as she tries to catch her breath. "Jason, we are probably in big trouble. I probably won't get to see you again. So I want to let you know something. We've been best friends for so long and gone through a lot. We know almost everything about each other. We've been there for each other through everything. I just want to let you know that I love you Jason. I love you so much and it would kill me if I never got to see you again. Not just love like brother and sister love, I'm saying I'm in love with you. I want to be with you forever. I want to marry you and I want to make love to you and start a family with you. I never want to leave your side." Needless to say this blows me away. I start to think about everything we've gone through. All the times she's comforted me when I needed her, all the times I've had fun with her, and all the times she's kissed me. I start trying to think about what if this had to stop. And I'm hit with a pain in my heart that I've never felt before. I realize the obvious truth. How could I have not seen it before? "I love you too Alice. Not like a brother does his sister either. I'm in love with you too. I want to stay together forever. I never want you to leave. I want to grow up and get married and make a family together. I love you so very much. No matter what happens, we'll be together. I don't care what our moms say. I would do anything to stay with you. I would give everything I ever had up just to stay with you." We both come together and kiss. We put everything we feel into this kiss, all of the love, fear, hope, and longing. We bring our souls to bear in this kiss. I love her so much. I feel the familiar warmth in my chest I know now is love except now it is so much stronger. I can feel it all over my body. I realize that nothing else is as important to me as Alice. It's like everything else that binds me to this world has fallen away. And I know Alice feels the same thing I do. Because she is my soul mate. We pull away from each other as we hear crying nearby. We look around and see our moms looking at us with tears flowing down their faces and my mom says, "That was so beautiful you two." Sara nods saying, "I agree, I knew you two had feelings for each other, but I never expected this, this, love, this connection you have with each other." "We are not going to punish you and we know you two were meant to be together. All we ask is you be careful how you express your love. We understand the depth of this relationship and we will not stop you should you decide to engage in... uh... well..." My mom finishes, "What Sara is trying to say is that we will not stop you if you decide to pursue a physical relationship, we just want you to think before you do. You are still young and have your whole life ahead of you." Alice is crying again but this time from happiness. I'm pretty close myself and I say, "Mom, Ms. Fieldings, thank you so much for understanding. I did not realize how much I loved her until now, but now that I do, I'm very thankful that you are not going to take that away from Alice and I." Sniffling now, Alice says, "As for having sex. I will admit I have thought about it, but have not acted on it. Jason and I really need to talk now. Figure out where this is going to go." Sara smiles, "OK, go ahead and go talk in your room. I will lift the open door rule, but please, be responsible. Amanda and I are going to make dinner."
