The elderly male spoke, his sleek black suit slimming his rather chubby form. Circle frames hug low on his nose while pepper and salt hair covered his chin, neglecting his rather bald head. The light reflecting off of it like a glass table. The business man was not seated at the front of the table, that was meant for the CEO of the corporation and that was no man. Standing by a sheet that displayed graphs and statistics he continued to speak, fidgeting a bit whenever his eyes would meet with blazing ice greys. The room was a bit quite, most of the workers were taking down notes while other would ask short clipped questions. Of-course he would answer them but did it quickly, his true goal aimed at the approval of the woman who sat in the far center seat of the maple wood. "What do you suggest we do to discover these 'difficulties' Mr.Adam?" Her voice came out in a chilled husky tone, full lips giving way to white aligned teeth. "From the data we are being given by companies, a majority of not all of our trains seem to be operating and appearing correctly." Ice grey eyes remained glued on the stack of papers in front of her, speaking while her long slim fingers flipped through the crisp pages and read them closely. "That's the problem actually..." He commented, after taking down a dry lump that had formed in his throat from anxiousness. "The company receives this information from the operators, if they were to lets say..."He flipped the huge page to another that displayed a few bullet points, "show that they were not taking the proper steps or displaying the highest standards as posed by the company... then we would ultimately shut them down or replace management." Moving a stray strand of black sleek locks behind her rich colored ear,the CEO nodded in agreement and urged the old business man to continue. "Okay,"he sighed after viewing her nod. "I purpose that we allow some members of the company to go out personally and check the trains and sites that have been getting the worst reports. To-to umm..." He bit his bottom lip at his stuttering. He has done this a million times before, but looking at this intimidating woman across from him just made his tongue stick to the roof of his mouth. Her aura oozed power, assurance and attention, and that aspect was what made her so frightening. Never has he met anyone male CEO that has made him trip over his words, but this woman and her dangerously sharp eyes was doing just that. Shaking his head to rid the anxiousness he felt, the old business man continued,"...see where the problem actually is." A cool air passed through the silence that ensued after his proposition. The workers turned their head to the elegant woman who tilted her head slightly in thought. They waited and then waited, in this matter time wasn't an issue, their job depended on her decisions and where she decided to take the corporation. Patience was one attribute they all learned to gain over the years of working for Ms.Gisele Abimbola. All the men and women in this office and meeting have worked for her longer than five years.Unlike her father, who enjoyed putting his trust in his workers and letting mistakes slide, she is not so forgiving when it comes to impatience and rash decisions. Taking a long moment to think of the man's suggestion after he finished his presentation, she tapped the bottom of her chin analyzing every possible result or disaster. Once her thought process seemed complete, she dropped the pen onto the table and gave her full attention to the speaker. "Well..." Her deep accented voice spoke. The air of authority that followed her grabbing the attention of everyone in the room who were truly waiting for her opinion. "I say lets do it." The presenters face shaped into a childish smile, his pale skin revealing all the wrinkles and sun spots of old age. "But..." The air stilled while she cut off their momentary relaxation, causing their shoulders to stiffen and bodies to go rigid. She lifted her long pointer finger, nails coated in a deep tint of plum, "I shall check the number one service that is suffering or has received the worst reports. Going about other places is unnecessary..." She rose a perfectly arched brow in question of anyone's disagreement, when no one posed a question she continued. "When all my data is completed we shall impose these changes onto other suffering sites." A cold air ran through the entire room, the workers stared at her as if she was on something else. The area their CEO intended to go to are some of the worst in the entire country. Not just due to their bad equipment, but mostly caused by the kind of horrible people that resided in that location. The city was no joke when it comes to their history and reputation. Yes, it was very prejudice since a majority of these areas had minority groups but that was just reality. The government neglected this city and due to that it was it's own hell. Death and murder was something that appeared as common as birds chirping or children playing. The area is just bad news and if their CEO get's hurt then they all get hurt. "I will start tomorrow and turn in my reports by the end of this month. Whether we will be shutting down these areas..." She stood from her leather seat, pushing the papers aside while she took out her cellphone."Or improving them will be determined by me." With that comment she excused herself by giving each of her workers a silent but concluding look. Despite their expressions that illustrated doubt and worry, her mind was made up which means nothing was going to change. The workers bid her goodbye and waited for her to leave before they would start packing up their things. Pushing past the sliding glass door that gave way in and out of the large meeting room, she began to search through her contacts to reach a close business partner. Moving toward her private office, Gisele smiled at some of her workers who saw her and spoke to her. She was cold but made sure all those who worked for her knew that she wasn't some anonymous figure that doesn't ever show her face. Her father taught her that technique. His workers adored him because he was known and displayed his trust in all his workers, despite how foolish she thought he could be when it came to his business deals. The company has always been strong but under her leadership it has become one of the top businesses in the world. She wasn't a joker when it came to deals and her partners knew that. At first they attempted to move around her due to her sex, but with a stern fist she got those idiots to respect her. Like her father has always taught her and her brother,"money speaks but mouths due the persuading." Once she saw the name in her phone that seemed seared into her mind, she clicked the contact. Not being one to enjoy exposure of any kind the ebony haired woman made her way into her very spacious office, locking the door behind her. Ring Ring She was already getting impatient at the lack of response, as they say 'time is money' and every seconding was itching her closer aggravation. She has other business partners to call and waste of time was not making her very happy. "Gisele..." A deep tone that resembled a similar accent of hers spoke. "Arnfried." A gentle laugh was the response to her business like tone. "Don't you think it would be more comforting to great me like your older brother and not some business partner." He joked, poking the woman's frustration. "I need your expertise and opinion Fred." Plum coated fingers running through long midnight locks, her back leaning against the pure oak desk. "Well well, isn't this a surprise." He poked some more. She called him rarely but when she did it was about business. His comment was a joke however, because her brother called her on a weekly basis just to bother her and help her move away from her workaholic habits. "Welp sis tell me what's up." Rolling her eyes at his childish voice, Gisele went on to explain what exactly she wanted to do and also asking if he knew anything about the 'city experience. Her older brother choose the field of an architect, so he has to visit and research a-lot of areas including the upscale and very impoverished. After an hour or so of talking, they concluded on her going to the the city but of-course once or twice a day and avoiding conflict at all cost. The woman wasn't scared at all, despite all the gruesome information her older brother told her about the area. Standing at five-feet eleven and being a expert at Bokator, Pencak silat, and having a heavy dose of bare knuckle boxing knowledge in her back pocket, she is more of a threat then a victim. Her brother has the same training so he knows very well that she can take care of herself. But being the protective fool he is, he decides to give her advice on how to 'protect' herself. Gisele thought that he truly did it to protect those who threatened her. In all honesty it seems to be the humane thing to do since she is capable of killing someone with her skilled techniques. Once they thanked him for his help, she turned off her phone and started to prepare for another meeting. A few minutes later she heard a knock on her door. Not expecting any company this early the outstanding woman made her way to the door. Putting her hand around the silver nob, Gisele opened the office door to see who the visitor was. "Hello Gisele..." The blonde walked into the room, her thick long air curled loosely around her head. "Kathryn why are you here." The tall woman asked, her arms folded across her chest in annoyance, silver eyes watching as the tall perfectly sculpted body skated across her office. After looking around the familiar office briefly, the beauty turned around showing the most decisive pout that could melt anyones heart(anyone but Gisele). Slowly she walked over Gisele, her small hands reaching out to the reluctant woman and touching over her flat stomach. Her pink coated nails running loose circles over the woman's skin. Looking down at the tempting but very manipulative ex-lover, the elegant woman took the blondes hand and moved it off of her body. "Don't touch me." Her words came out chilled and laced with venom. "Oh come on baby, please forgive me." She pushed her figure hard against the bosses tall figure, letting her breast press against her. "I know you miss me." "I don't." Gisele spoke in all honesty, her face stern and not cracking once. Looking deep into those unrevealing eyes, the blonde pulled against her tall ex-lovers tailored pants, letting her hand quickly slip in. Gisele could hear herself gasp and cursed her lust. It has been months since she's had sex, her work occupied her days and she hadn't realized how hungry her bodies been for intimate touch. "How about now?" The blonde teased, moving her lips closer so that they could kiss along the woman's jawline. Gisele moved her hands quickly, her training giving her fast reflexes. Slim fingers held onto the girls face, preventing her pink lips from making contact with her skin. She could feel her self slipping under the soft fingers that stroked her sex repeated. "Oh I like it when your rough." Kathryn teased, kissing the nutmeg tinted hands that wrapped around her face. "Stop!" Gisele spoke coolly, pushing the model away from her and pulling the peach tinted hands from her trousers. "Out.Now." Her iced eyes blazed. The noir haired beauty let her lips move into a straight line, while her eyes threatened the girl to attempt another move like that silently. Smiling seductively, Kathryn licked her fingers and sashayed to the office door. "Your lost." She sung, winking at the stone faced CEO and then making her way out. Rolling her eyes at the woman's childish antics, Gisele leaned against her desk in exhaustion. It took alot for her to not give in since her body so badly wanted to be touched, but one thing she never does is go back on a promise. She has forgiven Kathryn more then three times and this was the last straw. Fucking in her home, more specifically her bed is something she could never forgive. In-fact she had that mattress burned because she was so angry and disgusted. Beep Beep Moving her long fingers through dark locks, the slim woman turned around to take her phone the beeped for her attention. Placing the device to her ear, Gisele listened as he secretary told her about the business partners that were here for their meeting. Thanking the woman who seemed to be the only person that could keep up with her standards, she shut the phone off and attempted to rid herself of the heat that had spread through her body after that encounter with Kathryn. "Lets get this meeting over with and make this another deal well done." She told herself, taking her leather bag and making her way out of the room. ** ** "How long are you going to be doing this?" Allison asked while her sister packed up her leather tote with papers and what not. The average sized brunette rolled her eyes as the young girl continued to pester her about her transportation situation. The little girl knew more about this city than she should. She knows about the murders, the thugs and gangs, she knows about everything and at times her older sister is happy about that but most of the time it makes her sad. No child should be exposed to this kind of life and have to worry about their sibling every single day. Her baby sister has always been one to worry but now it's even worse. As it all turns out that the youth has to take the bus or train everywhere, why? Because her car had to stop working in the dead middle of summer when the temperature is too hot and the thugs too fucking pumped. They lived in the inner city aka the hell hole. You know the kinds of cities where you couldn't go out past midnight, well they live in the city where you aren't even safe in plain daylight. She and her baby sister live together in a run-down apartment that is the best she could possibly get. The land lord knew their parents so he decided to give them a discount every month, it's not just because of their history though. Annia can hardly afford paying for school and rent, lucky for her the old man got the hold hardship thing since his children were dealing with the same thing. A few years back their parents killed in a shoot out between rival gangs while walking home from work. They never saw it coming and never made it home. The police took days to get their parents body off of the street,as if it was an everyday thing people just walked past them. The brunette only discovered of their tragic passing through their friend Hamilton, her current landlord. Even to this day she can't get the image of their dead bodies off the pavement, blood dried and eyes wide open. She never allowed Allison to see their parents, the only time she could was on the street and that was not going to happen. They could never afford a funeral and only through funding from people who knew her parents was she able to get them to at least be buried next to each other. Even now the entire thing is a complete mess. There was no preparation for their passing, no second plan. She had little money to live off of and their one story house became too much for her to pay for. Their furniture, clothing, everything was left behind. All they had time to collect were small bags of things before their home was taken from them by the same government that claimed to be helping them. After the murder and horrible reparations she got a car, it took her a few years to save up the money but she did it. It seems weird that a car is or was so important but it was to Annia. Her parents walked everywhere. From work, to the grocery store, to friends, EVERYWHERE and they got murdered because of it. At least in a car you can speed away or something, not that it gave a single soul more safety. Her car was pretty old, she only got it for a could of thousands so that spoke volumes when it came to the quality. Plus the car salesman stole everything away from her, not a penny was left of her money. What was she to do though, she had little to no negotiating techniques and she knew the crook smelled it on her. The blonde haired, white teeth middle-class man had no sympathy. He sold her a puke green car that smelled like piss and shit, oh and how did he sweeten the deal? He gave her a car freshener because she has such a 'beautiful smile'. Just the idea of that day and what happened still makes her cringe. Allison and she went almost a month without eating because of that car and it only lasted about two years and some months. She had been happy that the junk survived through the blazing winter but now it is summer and the days were longer. With more days came more problems, more deaths, more robberies, more crooks, and more cases of...missing people. She looked over at her sister. The little curly haired brunette sat at the small kitchen table, one toast with butter in her mouth and a cup of water in the other. She had one of their fathers huge literature books in front of her, her small finger creating a book mark while she watched her older sister as well. Allison looks just like her older sister Annia. They both have curly espresso hair, Allison own short and resting around her small chubby face. Allison on the other hand has slightly loose strands that ran down her back, resting in the middle. Their eyes a similar deep amber brown color, with rays of gold slithering through the layers of deep bronze and almond.Their lips are slightly different however, Allison's lips just a bit thinner than her older sisters medium heart shaped ones. Overall if you were to see them together you would know that they were sisters. Moving the bag over her shoulder and checking for her home keys and phone, Annia prepared to leave. "Don't open the door to anyone Allison." She told her baby sister, letting her hands to move through the beauty's thick strands of mahogany and shaking it light heartily. The little girl slapped her sisters hand away jokingly before nodding she would. "I love you my Anjou." Annia's lips met her baby sisters cheek before she turned for the door. Allison told her goodbye while she walked out the door, telling her sister to stay safe as she did everyday. She was leaving the girl home for the entire day,she would most likely be home around eleven since it's summer. The entire time thing bothered her but it offered the most money. The usual time at her work would be from eight to one or three in the evening. But, because alot of people take vacations in the summer their manager offered a position for hours from eight to ten, which is a major increase. Annia couldn't pass up the opportunity so she said 'yes'. Allison is young but not young enough not to go to school, she should be in second grade actually but going to school was out of the question. Why? Because school included walking about a mile to and from, and that is too dangerous. Little girls are like deers to these fuckboys who go around targeting young children and innocent people. Annia made her little sister stay home, they had no T.V. so all the cute brunette had to occupy herself were books and books and more books. Her fathers piano was left at the old house so that was gone, and all her mothers instruments were taken and sold in order to pay for the debt she is now. Debt that occurred because her parents were not able to pay the bills before their sudden passing. It's things like that and her sister not being able to go to school, and the fear of being shot or hurt at any turn, it's things like these that reminds her why she hates society so much. Her parents were there for her through everything and now all the sudden they were ripped from her and she is forced to face the flames of reality by herself. It's unfair, unbelievably unfair but it's her screwed up reality. Annia Ch. 02 Thank you so so so very much for the kind comments. I honestly wanted to delete the first installment but after I read all your magnificent comments, my heart swelled and I had to continue. I hope I didn't disappoint with this chapter and just a heads up there will be many more coming. When? I have no idea but this is not the end. Please leave a comment below telling me what you think. Oh, I did try finding an editor but I haven't gotten a response so...if you people can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Again, please enjoy and I hope to hear from you all soon. MintMilkTea ***** Annia rushed out of the station and across the street, her wild hair falling out of the hair band and flowing with the cool summers wind. Moving her small hands over her face to push back the unruly strands, the youth ventured through the thick clutter of people, pushing and slipping through clashing bodies. Her focus was on one thing, making it into the massive corporate building and getting to work before the buzzer goes off. You might be wondering why there even is a buzzer and Annia truly would not have a clear answer for you. She herself didn't understand the plain meaning for this system. Apparently it was installed by the higher members and the buzzer is meant to notify the company when employees arrive. When questions are asked for why the stupid device was even put in place, the only response is that it was installed to maintain consistency(or that's what they claimed.) But as interpreted by Annia, the buzzer is the shit bell that lets you know they're[her bosses] cutting her paycheck every minute she's late. The brunette internally groaned at the whole standard posed by the corporation, to her it was and still is the most inconsiderate system made by the company to date. How can she make it on time everyday when... One-she wakes up around five, two-gets up and preps herself while making sure Alison is cleaned and feed as well. Three- She walks to the subway(sometimes in pitch black, depending on the season) four- Then goes on the train, jumps off it, and basically sprints to the building. That just might be four points but the entire process is tiring...so very tiring. For goodness sake she's not some Olympic player. The whole 'not being late' thing is utter bullshit. Just formulated by the wealthy few who presume that everyone has a car and a house and time to waste, the youth thought as she continued her journey. Annia, unlike the people they think work for them, doesn't even have time to enjoy her life, nevertheless her summer vacation. For Christ-sake she's taking the day to night shift, six days out of seven, and the work load is massive. Her life revolves around working and taking care of her only family, Allison. Many would be surprised to find out how young she actually is since she does more than most adults. A social life? Well she has one or two close friends but that's it. Her living condition and work schedule doesn't really allow her to socialize very much. It doesn't bother her however, "two friends is enough" is what she often tells herself whenever she finds her amber brown eyes envying others. Envying their ability to go out for lunch, to hang out with friends and family. Frequently times she tries to find things that make her feel better, but how much fun can you have working at a desk from dusk to dawn. Despite her desire for an active social life, the brunette often finds that most people and their personalities scare her, like send chills down her back scary. Some people even get her questioning the concept of humanity. For instance, all the things that occur in her competitive work environment. The youth often hears people talking about action movies but in reality the most action can be found in the cubicles of money hungry employees, almost all willing to step on everyone's back to reach success. From friendships splitting, to people sabotaging and cheating on one another to so much more. Of-course she's never gotten involved. But viewing everything go on just reminds her why she doesn't mind being alone so much. Allowing her broken in black sneakers to settle onto the hard pavement, Annia's rich eyes came in contact with the large modern building-and as soon as they did a grin shot up on her pale face. "Made it!" She breathed out in exhaustion. Her running cession to work every morning is always wearing, but being the motivated creature she is Annia always takes it on and makes it...for the most part. Plus, her legs are toned because of all the running, not that anyone would know with her baggy cardigans and pants(but then again she's never really trying to attract attention.) Looking down at her old watch, the band too big for her slim wrist and resting against her hand. The pale girl bit the inside of her mouth in apprehension. "Five minutes until the buzzer rings" she mumbled to herself, hands on her waist while deep curls cupped her rosy cheeks. She looked nervous but prepared, like a track runner waiting at the start line, her feet steady on the ground and nose taking in cool air. Groaning, the youth basically jogged to the building entrance, wiping the cool sweat the ran down her forehead with the back of her cardigan sleeve when she finally reached the large doors. Once she arrived, the young student slash employee, slipped her cardigan off, plastered on a smile and entered. Slowly at first Annia moved into the building, her eyes viewing the large maple-wood desk and smooth marble floors(which stuck to the bottom of her cheap sneakers and made the worse noises.) Waving at the elderly blonde woman that sat at the wide desk, her face filled with the same smile she usually greets the guest and workers of the corporation with. The woman has become a 'sorta' friend in the company. Despite their minimal communication, other than mornings and late hours, the woman and Annia seemed to take an enormous liking to one another from their first meeting. One day the woman smiled at her while she sneaked in after being late by a few minutes. Unlike most that seemed to walk away whenever she elderly would politely greet them, Annia smiled back and that was where it all started, or when the 'friendship' blossomed. Annia rose a questionable brow at her older friend, silently asking if the area was clear for her to run up the stairs and into her cubical. Moving a few strands of gray and blonde behind her diamond dazzling ear, the elderly woman smiled at Annia, waving her hands that signaled the youth to go ahead. Breathing a sigh of relief, the brunette sprinted up the numerous marble stairs, not bothering to wipe away the droplets of sweat that accumulated once again from her heavy clothes and activity. "Maybe sweaters and heavy coats aren't the best choices in summer," the brunette thought, but she knew better than her rambling mind that ached along with her body. Walking around in shorts and a t-shirt, even if it was one hundred degrees, makes you raw meat in her part of the city and that's the last thing she wanted. Reaching the sixth floor, Annia lowered her head and sneaked in the direction of her office space, making sure to wipe her face of the small droplets that formed there. The entire room seemed really quite, well quieter than normal. There weren't any key boards being pressed, nor printers being used, or silent groans and flirting going on. It all was still, but that wasn't what she was focused on therefore she didn't take notice of it. "Log in, Log in," she repeated to herself while her amber eyes clicked onto the black exterior of her cubical. The small area marked 'Miss.Anzhelina' and shinning as if the gods were praising her for her accomplishment. Hurrying to her area, Annia sat down on the thick leather seat, the wheels sliding back slightly with her movement. The brunette clicked into her computer, checking the pop up box right before the last minute. "Made it." She sighed with relief. She slumped in her seat, relieved that she finally made it. "If only papa could see me." She mumbled to herself, a weak smile forming on her lips. The youth remembered how her father would always scurry around their home, the tote she sat on the ground next to her chair wrapped around her arm. His old brown coat moving back and his words clear as ever, "stay moving Ann, it's the only way you know you're alive." Opening the list of files she needed to organize and correct for the day, the brunette brushed away the ping of pain the nearly brought tears to her eyes. She needed to focus on work not her disastrous past. * * Time passed and still the hazel-brown eyed worker saw no one. Opening her desk drawer to write down a few notes from her computer, Annia's big eyes caught onto the neon pink of some written sticky-note. She opened the drawer wider and picked up the note that stuck to some papers she finished and stacked in a neat pile a few days back. Taking it up and reading the words written in a clumsy messy Annia's eyes widened in surprise: Meeting in the morning with the CEO. Get your ass there before it's too late. Hannah "Crap!" She cursed, jumping from her seat and not caring to close the open drawer. The curly haired woman sprinted like she had up the stairs, her sneakers moving against the office tile as she the chilled air-conditioned air pressed against her skin. She passed the empty hall, already knowing that all the staff was in the huge meeting centers, finding their seats and looking toward the podium that their CEO would be standing on any moment. Again Annia was running, rushing like her father had almost everyday of his short life, no rest just work. She definitely felt alive but she also felt like she would pass out from the lack of air. Her thighs burned, her lungs begged her to take a seat that lasted more than a minute, and her feet were already incredibly sore from the daily run's. Once her hazel-brown eyes caught onto another a set of large oak doors, the youth snuck around the back where a silver door stood. She did not want to move through the main entrance knowing that all eyes would be on her, expecting to see their CEO not some small brunette panting from exhaustion. As her hands pushed against the doors, a wind of chatter came into her ear drums, beating against them like drums at a music parade. The woman grimaced a bit, she's been living off minimal sleep this entire summer and loud sounds did not help her one bit. As her feet transitioned from tile to wood, her lungs released the air she was holding, the distracted workers helping to hide away her tardiness. "There you are!" Long arms pulled her into a corner, the tall friend smiling in her face. "I thought you wouldn't make it." Hannah released her light hold as she spoke to the small brunette who looked like she had just finished a marathon. "Me too." "I knew you wouldn't get the email, so you know I had a back-up plan." The blonde smiled, pushing the long strand behind her shoulder in a jokingly uppity way. The brunette laughed at her friends display, puckering her lips in mock distaste as the giggling strained her already tired lungs. "Oh don't start Hannah, I ran all day and I can't afford losing anymore air." * * They found their seats, Hannah making sure that they were somewhat close to the front. Annia didn't like the idea of being front and center so she convinced her friend to get seated in the middle row of lined cotton covered chairs, despite the brunette's desire to find an area in the back. "I heard that she's gorgeous." The blonde whispered to her, leaning over so that the message was heard clearly and also because of Annia's petite frame. When they first met the only thing Hannah did was tease her co-worker about her 'adorable' height, but after sometime she realized that Annia did not like it at all. "She?" "Yeah, the CEO's a..." At that moment the entrance door, which Annia had avoided earlier, opened and all nearly the voices in the room went mum. It was Hannah's unfinished sentence and enlarged eyes that told the youth something or rather someone important was here. Turning her head of wild curls in the direction of the podium, hazel-brown eyes caught onto the sound of heels moving against the wooden floor, and then she caught onto her boss Mike's voice and his puppy dog Chad, aka the guy that's so far up his ass that Annia is certain he has no social life, voice as they spoke to the tall figure. The brunette traced her eyes up the strangers frame, her fingers unnaturally gripping onto the sides of her baggy pants for dear life. And in that moment Annia felt a familiarity without even seeing the persons face- a spark, kind of like the one she sensed when her body pressed against that woman on the train, holding onto that gray coat. It was the kind of spark that ran down the tips of her fingers and over her skin. The type of feeling that was too different to be a 'simple' feeling. "Isn't she drop-dead stunning." The blonde unknowingly disrupted Annia's thoughts, the large hazel-brown eyes not even reaching the persons face yet. She turned her face to look at Hannah as she spoke, a habit formed by her father who of-course was a teacher and treasured eye contact so much. Annia remembered how annoyed she used to get at his small antics, puffing her cheeks and unwillingly turning her face and eyes in her fathers direction. She remembered how his thick fingers would mess up her already unruly hair, and his laugh warm and deep when she would slap his hand away. Turning her head in the direction of the figure that had stopped walking, which Annia knew since the clear sound of heels against the wooden floor stopped, the youth stopped. Not just her movement but breathing as well. Their eyes met, over the vast crowd of suite wearing professionals, ice grays and hazel-browns clicked together like magnets. The woman's face didn't change much, if Annia was like anyone else in the crowd she would have thought the tall woman was thinking while gazing into the abyss. But the brunette wasn't just anyone. She was the woman who grabbed Gisele's attention, the woman who had the CEO staring and her lips tilting just slightly into a smirk. "Yeah, that's what I thought." The blonde once again disrupted Annia's moment, but at this time the young student was grateful, she realized her hands were growing shaky and words seemed to slip from her head, never truly forming complete sentences. She was mum, stunned to be more accurate, and with those light grays locked on her own so tightly the brunette felt her cheeks growing warm, and heart beat quickening. Moving her head and eyes in the direction of the floor, Annia thought that by ending the connection their eyes made she would be able to slow down her heart beat but it didn't work, especially since she could still feel the ebony beauty looking at her, gazing, and not caring for the awkward silence in the room. "Ma-am..." Mike whispered as the silence seemed to lengthen. The tall woman didn't respond with words, rather she turned her eyes and head to him, vaguely asking him what it is he wanted silently. "The conference." The big man appearing almost weak in her presence but trying hard to keep his head. Of-course this was a challenge since the CEO carries herself with such strength that even the most honorable feel the need to bow. A presence that is usually gained over years came naturally to Gisele, and with a simple tilt of the head she replied to his comment. "Good morning everyone." Her husky voice boomed throughout the wood carved area, taking up every space of the massive area. At the sound of that voice Annia looked up, her eyes running over the beauties rich skin that was illuminated by the mornings sun, the orange hue creeping through the window and over rich wood. Annia was mesmerized by her, even more take by the ease of her words, the movement of her lips and richness of her words. The brunette never thought she could be so taken by a stranger but here she was, nearly falling if not already fallen, for the tall woman's exquisite form and...everything. She was taken by the way that crisp black pant suite held her slim figure elegantly, the crisp white shirt contrasting with her rich mocha skin. As these thoughts continued to move through her mind, and those hazel-brown eyes roamed over the CEO's body, Annia found herself growing embarrassed. She couldn't believe how she was acting, how she was daydreaming and thinking of her...her CEO of all people. Biting the inside of her mouth nervously, the brunette shifted her eyes elsewhere and tried to hide the rosiness she knew was apparent in her cheeks. Speaking about the plans she had for this branch of her company, Gisele couldn't help but smile at the young worker in the middle of the crowd. Her curly chestnut hair stood out among the straight, pulled back hairstyles she viewed when she looked about the seated workers. It's unruly but adorable shape framed her pale face and brought out her beautiful hazel-brown eyes that looked back at her. Gisele continued to speak after the manager brought to her attention the need for an introduction and description, and despite her desire to know more about the girl she saw on the train she knew business came first. Throughout her descriptive speech about what she planned to do to the company in order to help it make more progress, the woman couldn't help looking back at the brunette that avoided her eye contact, the youth who's cheeks bloomed pink and bit the bottom of her lips in an anxious action. "It will be a very smooth process under my control. But for today I want you all to..." Gisele's striking grays met Annia's eyes again and the girl's awkward smile brought about her own even more. "Enjoy yourselves. There is food and games in the cafeteria and outside. You can leave whenever you want and if anyone would like to talk with me, please feel welcome." The tall woman moved from the podium in a suave movement, pushing her dark locks behind her shoulder as the two other men followed her. When Gisele made her way out the entire room erupted, workers talking among one another, most angry about their "bad" reputation which Annia wasn't surprise about, and others(like Hannah) focusing on Gisele's appearance. Remaining quite and listening as Hannah and her other co-worker talk on and on, sometimes drinking something or taking a bite out of their burger, Annia found herself getting bored. She wanted to go home and see Alison. This would probably one of the only days she has to be with her younger sister. It's true that they see each other everyday but time spent together is very minimal. The youth excused herself politely, assuring Hannah that she was fine and just needed something to eat. Taking a plate that resembled the ones from the Chinese restaurant take-out line, the brunette packed a set of food into it, bagged some drinks since their fridge was dry, and slipped her way back to the main office. She hoped to make it to her desk, get her cardigan, her fathers old bag and get the heck out of there. As she moved through the halls, the youth kept her eyes forward, her small feet moving quickly- like one of those speed walking ladies in the mall who have too much money and not enough time. She turned a few corners and just as she was preparing to move up the endless staircase to the third floor, the elevator buzzed open. Ignoring the sound Annia moved passed it. "Do you need to go up?" Annia Ch. 02 A voice, warm and husky, familiar yet strange with it's underlying accent brought Annia's feet to a halt. Turning her body quickly she was greeted by her CEO once again, her midnight hair falling over those slim shoulders like a waterfall and gray eyes looking into her fragile soul. "No. I'm fine." The brunette spoke finally, the air that she had forgotten to breath finally making it's way to her lungs. "I'm sure the elevator would be much better than the stairs Annia." The way Gisele pronounced her name was in itself magical. It was as if the woman called to her, alluringly soft and sweet. The tone Gisele used with her was far different from the one she had used when speaking to the entire staff. At this moment, the short time they both shared in complete and utter silence, Gisele's voice was the same as on the train earlier this morning. Gentle and as rich as ever. "No. Really I'm..." "I'm not going to bite you Annia. Just trying to make life easier." Looking into those eyes a bit longer, the brunette finally but slowly made her way into the elevator, murmuring her level as Gisele silently asked. "You work on the Intel unit?" "Yes." Her answer was short and soft. The tall woman leaned against the elevator wall releasing a slow sigh before looking down it the head of curls next to her. "You have beautiful hair Annia." This comment took the youth by surprise. She had never been complimented on her hair by anyone outside her family, in-fact she used to get bullied for it in elementary school. So in this moment she wasn't sure how to respond so she didn't say anything. "And you have beautiful eyes." "Th-Thank you." She whispered again, the compliment causing her to blush as the feeling of warmth moved throughout her chest. "May I look at them?" "Ah?" Annia turned her head up so that she could look at the woman with question, but as soon as their eyes met it was like electricity and it terrified her. She attempted to turn her head back down but before she could, long cool fingers slipped beneath her chin and stopped her movement. "Annia." She whispered and to the brunette's surprise her voice was even softer, like cotton feathers falling onto still waters. Annia remained still, allowing her head to be moved up in the direction Gisele's hands swayed. And when their eye met once again they both were silent. The space in the room remained calm, all the undercurrent of emotion exploded like a flower bomb and those icy eyes melted Annia's core. She felt a strange warmth spread through her body, radiating from the contact of Gisele's fingers against the bottom of her chin. "How is it that I can't keep my eyes off of you?" The question seemed more rhetorical than directed towards the small brunette, so Annia didn't respond to it. Ding The sound of the elevator broke the intense moment both women were experiencing and Annia was both thankful and miserable at it. Did she want to stay in this position, so close to this mystery woman who grabbed her attention? Did she want to remain here right now not knowing when her heart would burst out of her ribcage or when the woman would stop gazing at her with such...passion? No. She couldn't handle it. "This is my floor." "Is it?" Gisele asked with a slight smirk on her lips, her eyes still lost in large pools of reflected bronze and emerald. The ebony skinned woman held her still with a gentle squeeze as her arm wrapped around the girl's small waist, pulling her in slowly and giving time for the youth to pull back. But Annia didn't step back or stop when her abdomen was pressed against her CEO's flat own, she only shivered with anticipation. "Yes... it is Miss. Abimbola." "Do you really need to get off at this floor?" She inched closer, those full lips moving nearer. Annia felt a need to taste them, to press her own against their deep plum tint, tantalizing and making her feel strangely desperate for this contact. "Yes...be-because you scare you." Sharp brows lifted in question, their little conversation moved from verbal to quite, the taller woman gazing down with wonder. Her arms fit so perfectly around Annia's waist, and her fingers didn't want to let go of the youths delicate face. Gisele was intrigued and more than willing to know what exactly made the brunette fear her, more or less. "I scare you?" Annia moved her expressive hazel-brown eyes to the ground in embarrassment, she couldn't tell the CEO that she was afraid of these sudden feelings for her. She couldn't open her mouth and tell Ms. Abimbola that she needed to be held longer, to be kissed by her, and more. "No." Her voice was nearly a whisper and the elevator door buzzed open but once again Gisele pulled her in and closed the door, those gray eyes looking down at a thick head of chestnut curls. "Ah...sorry I didn't mean to say that." "Tell me Annia," those slender fingers once again lifted her chin so that their eyes met. "How do I scare you." Plum lips were now millimeters from her own and the youth felt as if she couldn't breathe. Like the air was being pulled from her by the mere heat that spread like wildfire from her fingertips, griping onto her slim waist covered in fine fabric. "Feelings. I...I can't describe but you make me feel..." She finally allowed her eyes to meet beautiful Antarctic grays, drawing her in like those warm arms she was enclosed in. "Strange. Very strange things and it's...weird, you know." She scrunched her nose a little, tilting her head to the left in an almost childish way that made her curls bounce lightly. This simple action made Gisele smile, the brunette was so effortlessly adorable that the older woman had to try even harder not to kiss her. "I don't know what you're talking about." She lied, her expression stone-like except for those cool eyes that illuminated with humor. "It's not funny." Gisele smiled finally, impressed at how easily the girl noticed the humor beyond her still expression. "I'm sorry if you're upset but my god you are so...damn adorable." Annia's cheeks burned a blossom pink, as her eyes looked down once again. "Why do you keep looking at the floor, is there something on it that is so captivating?" "No, of-course not. You're the only captivating thing." Her words merged as she quickly confessed a small bit of herself. "I mean...well that's what I mean. Umm...I'll stop talking." Annia busted out laughing, the tone rich yet ruff, as if she hardly laughed at all. Her light eyes closed and her lips curved into a joyous smile, holding the small girl to her. "Don't stop talking, please." They're eyes met and Annia giggled at her own words, embarrassed but happy to hear and see the stern woman laugh. As her laughter died down and the brunettes soft giggles began to slow, Gisele opened her eyes once more, her smile returning to a soft curve. "You're absolutely enchanting Annia." Her husky voice came through, intensifying Annia's blush. The noir-haired beauty watched the young woman closely, taking note of the way she bit her bottom lip, thinking with skepticism. "How do you know I'm enchanting? We've only known each-other for a day." "Well, If you'd allow me more of your time," Gisele gently squeezed Annia's waist as her hands traveled up, over the side of neck, and into the soft curls at the back of her neck. The taller woman leaned a bit of her weight over the young brunette before inching even closer, "I could show you." As if by instinct, the brunette moved in, pressing her mouth against those full plum tinted lips. At the contact Annia felt like she was finally experiencing the full surge of that small heat she felt when she layed eyes on this woman in the morning. That thin spike of electricity that had taken her by surprise. She moved her lips uncertainty, she had only kissed one person prior and it was neither good nor memorable. Annia knew this ahead of time but she couldn't help kissing Gisele, and if the woman never wanted to kiss her again because of her poor 'skills' then it would be worth it. Letting her lips move slowly over the youths pink blossoms, Gisele allowed her fingers to slip through those pillowy curls. Sliding her nails over Annia's scalp gently while her tongue glided over the brunettes lips. Moving her hands over the beauties perky bottom, Gisele squeezed lightly, the action causing Annia to gasp with surprise. The older woman took it as a chance to slip her tongue into the girl's mouth, moving in easily, and allowing the muscle to travel around with simmering passion. She did remember they were in an elevator however, and taking their kiss any further wouldn't help in maintaining her burning lust for the curly haired woman. Gisele pushed with more eagerness, her tongue moving all about and savoring every inch of Annia's mouth, her sharp ears also enjoying the soft humming, moaning, and short gasp the petite woman made. Annia pulled on her, kissing back while her arms wrapped around Gisele's neck and her body lifted up, holding her small frame on the tip of her toes. All she could think about was this woman, and her soft aroma that seemed like the perfect mixture of feminine and masculine. When Gisele pulled her lips from the youth, she couldn't help but smile at the brunette's little whimper. She kissed Annia's pale neck, allowing her lipstick to stain her skin with a light sheen of purple before moving higher, tracing feather kisses up to her delicate ear. "So?" She whispered directly into Annia's ear, kissing along the outside of her pale ear. "Yes." Annia moved her head back so that she could look into those striking grays. "I'd love for you to get to know me...And" Her bottom lip, now tinted with a light purple, was nibbled by white teeth nervously. "For me to get to know you." "Good. Great actually." She pecked Annia's small lips once more. "Oh and, this is your floor." "Thanks." The brunette spoke in a whisper, her eyes returning to her feet and the Gisele's. She didn't know what to say, and her mind was still recovering from that make-out cession and her heart had yet to calm. So she didn't speak. Annia unraveled herself from the tall woman's hold, taking in her comforting scent before giving an awkward "see you later maybe" smile. As she walked off the elevator and onto the sixth floor, long arms wrapped around her waist. Annia stopped, her worn sneakers against the fancy wooden floors and in front of shiny leather pumps that stood just behind her. "And my floor too Annia." Annia Ch. 03 Annia stood there, between the intense feeling of pleasure and the nagging thought that she should probably hurry up before she misses the train. With Gisele's arms still wrapped around her waist and her warmth seeping into the smaller woman's clothes, the youth found herself in one of the rarest circumstances, stuck between what she wanted and what she needed to do. She stood there for a minute, taking in the warm scent of oak and fresh waters. Her body seemed to become alert, taking to account every breath the taller woman took. The way long fingers gently caressed her abdomen and pulled her in, and the sensation of Gisele's breast pressing against her back. It all made goose bumps raise on her skin and her heart beat quicken. Gisele moved in closer, her steps slow and elegant like the movement of swans gliding over water surface. The noir haired beauty rested her chin on the brunettes shoulder, not worried but comforted by the soft curls that twirled around her ear and the side of her neck. She was falling for every inch of this young woman, from the curve of her small nose to the twirls of her locks, every bit of Annia was so beautiful that she knew passing her up would be one of her biggest mistakes. And Gisele doesn't like making mistakes. Taking in the natural scent that emitted from Annia skin, her aroma the mixture of wild lavender just plucked from a meadow and old books with endless pages. It was a different smell, not too over powering nor generic. The delicacy of her natural scent was intoxicating to the ebony skinned woman, and as she breathed in she found herself desiring more of the woman she held in her arms. "My office is right over there." She said, feeling the shift of the brunettes head as she looked straight ahead. The office was not large, in comparison to the one the CEO has back home it was actually three times smaller. Instead it was medium size, it was built for Mike but after deciding he was above everyone else he decided to build a bigger one on the lower floor. The only thing that bothered Annia about the whole new office thing was that he took a huge chunk of money from the company and everyone's paycheck, and the cut made life even more difficult for her and Alison. "Would you mind showing me your desk?" Gisele spoke, breaking the silence and Annia focus on the office. Silence seemed to extend between them, effortless and without a care. Gisele didn't mind it in-fact she found it strangely soothing, and a real contrast to her perpetually busy life. But the CEO knew the brunette was thinking about something, most likely over-thinking something, and she just wanted to know what it was that traveled through her mind. "I would but..." The brunette wanted to show the stunning woman everything but she had to hurry up and make it back home before it got too late. "But..." Gisele spoke questioningly as she waited for the youths response. "But I have to hurry up before I miss the train." The black haired woman stopped for a minute, watching the way Annia's pale fingers twirled around each other anxiously, as if her reply would be the determining factor in the brunettes decision. "Well..." She lifted her chin from the woman's shoulder, already missing the contact with the irresistible youth. "I could always drive you there. I'm sure it would be less of a hassle." Annia turned her body around so that she was no longer looking at the CEO's office ahead of her but the tall woman herself. As her slim figure moved, the brunette realized that Gisele's arms were still wrapped around her waist, holding her close. In that second their bodies were even closer, the youths curly locks bounced as she spun softly, and the wind that carried her fast movement pushed back Gisele's light strands of midnight as well. She stopped, tilting her head up so that she could look at the beautiful woman that still made her heart beat. In that close moment her big hazel-brown eyes searched. The youth has experienced so many circumstances where someone would offer her something because they felt obligated or wanted more in return, and she would be in a position where life was even more strained. She didn't want that. Annia wanted to make sure the woman was truly asking her out of want and not responsibility. In those gray eyes she saw a look a sincerity, as if Gisele wasn't just asking cause she wanted to be 'nice' but because she actually wanted to take Annia home. Just seeing that little glow in her eyes brought joy to the small woman's heart. Snapping from the daze she fell in when looking into Gisele's eyes, Annia's, as if by instinct, refused the offer politely. She has always been like her father, head strong and independent. Even when her family was struggling with their bills, her father never asked for help and worked until his very last breath. It was honorable and the brunette always looked up to him and his work ethic. But in this circumstance she wanted to go with Gisele, to be around her longer and continue feeling the warmth of her long arms around her waist. The sensation of her cool fingers touching her stomach and arms. The taste of her supple lips, every inch of Gisele Annia wanted to remember and experience more of. "Oh that's fine. The train is no....hassle." Hearing the words come from her mouth Annia already how much of a lie she was speaking, but she couldn't stop herself. It had become mechanically as time progressed, from the moment her parents died people have been manipulating her and when she was younger she made the mistake of trusting them. That entire time of her life changed her, and now she just refuses even the smallest offers. Gisele rose a brow, those sharp eyes peering into Annia, her body leaning in closer and the youth slightly tilting back with uncertainty. "Really?" Brown-hazels looked everywhere but into ice grays, from the walls to the wooden floors Annia found anything to distract her. Gisele found the entire circumstance entertaining however. She enjoyed the way the curly haired youth tried to avoid her eyes, those small lips in a slight smirk, but when her long fingers gently pressed into Annia's back she heard the brunette gasp. "Look at me Annia." She whispered, her words close to the curly haired woman's ear and breath warm with the scent of coffee. "I want to drive you home." The tall woman inched closer, her body pressing nearer to the youth. "But I can't if you won't let me." "I just think that um...it would be, you know, less of a hassle if...I just took...the train. You know." Those large eyes peeked up in a way that made the older woman want to squeeze Annia in a hug and kiss her over and over again. But she didn't. Instead her head lightly tilted to the side in an attempt to understand why the youth did not want a ride. "Is that what you want?" "Mmph?" A brow rose, the color darker than her mousse tousled hair and thick in a way that wasn't too overpowering, but striking enough to contrast with the soft curves of her face. "Annia..." She whispered in a way that depicted her wavering patience with the petite woman's antics. "Okay okay...Honestly," her eyes moved from her fingers, which they had shifted to, and back to those slim eyes that patiently waited for her to continue speaking. "I want to spend so much time with you. If you asked me to go with you to the bathroom I totally would." Her voice rose with a certainty and humor that made Gisele softly giggle. "But..." "But," the dark woman carried on her incomplete sentence. "My apartment is in one of the most...dangerous neighborhoods," she bit her bottom lips, her hands holding onto the side of the tall woman's jacket to emphasize her point. "And I don't want to put you in danger. I wouldn't be able to stand myself if something happened to you...as a normal person you know. Not like a lovesick girl." Shit, Annia cursed in her mind, fully aware that she just outed her crush on her CEO that developed only from this morning. Gisele took in the youths comment, viewing Annia's warm milk skin shade to a soft pink on her kissable cheeks. Noticing the small hands that lightly held onto her jacket move back to the youths frame, those fingers and clear nails covering her mouth and sliding through her thick curls effortlessly, the locks bouncing back in place. Not being able to resist any longer, the CEO brought her lips Annia's forehead, kissing it gently and feeling the clean hair tickle her nose gently. Annia stood there stoic, not sure what to do as a spark traveled through her body, warming the area Gisele's full lips were just seconds prior. She took down a gulp, her mouth longing to be the place that the beautiful woman kissed, her hands wanting to travel through those silky midnight locks that settled down her back nearly reaching her prefect behind. "Very well then." Annia looked up, her doe-eyes being greeted with a smile on Gisele's plum lips, her smile that seemed facile bringing a strange comfort to her. "When is the train coming?" Annia eyes finally begin to focus on everything else and not just the goddess pressed against her. "Uh..." She took Gisele's hand, not ignoring the little tingle that moved over her skin at the contact. "God, even her wrist are beautiful." Annia whispered to herself, not realizing that the words escaped her mind in a soft sound. The older woman didn't want to ruin the moment of those intense hazel-browns looking at the cold watch that decorated her wrist. So she didn't speak on the comment. Instead she kept it in because for the first time in a long time she actually treasured someones appreciation. The brunettes words just moved from her lips in a way that held no ulterior motive, but so much innocence that her heart actually felt something. "Oh shoot. Uhh," she looked at Gisele for a moment and then rushed further onto the floor, her thin legs walking as if they were trained to move with speed. Gisele watched her and wondered how those legs actually looked when not hidden beneath over sized pants. She stood there for a moment, she herself admiring the youth and her unlimited energy. The noir haired beauty wondered if she really spent her energy wisely, because the way Annia's hands searched over her desk grabbing a few things, signing out of her programming and fixing everything along with her thick mane, astonished the business woman. Noticing the youth putting an old looking tote over her shoulder and checking the clock, Gisele knew she out to get going if she wanted to catch the youth on the train. "Bye Gisele." Annia spoke as she saw the woman move toward the office at the very back of the room. Stopping at Annia's desk those piercing grays read the name tag, 'Miss.Anzhelina'. Russian. Interesting. Gisele took note of it since it seemed to ring familiar to her. Moving on her feet the youth moved past the older woman, not sure if she would be able to get another kiss. Not pushing her luck, she made her way to the elevator. Cool hands moved around her elbow, holding onto the thick fabric of her top. "Can I get a kiss goodbye?" Her clear eyes spoke volumes as the glazed over with a crystal like appearance. Annia nearly jumped as her heart rate speed with glee. Biting her bottom lip in effort to prevent a big smile that threatened to form on her lips, the petite brunette turned her body, once again facing Gisele. The older woman waited teasingly. She would have had her lips on Annia by now, but like in the elevator she wanted the daringly charming youth to make the first move. "Yeah, you can have a goodbye kiss." Smiling with since of achievement as the curly haired woman stood on the tips of her toes, Gisele could feel the excitement travel over her form. It was a strange but warm feeling that she didn't dislike but had no familiarity with. Waiting patiently, her pink tongue sliding over her dark plum lips, already preparing to make its way into Annia mouth. However, when those small pink lips met her cheeks, the older woman couldn't help but be a bit disappointed. Viewing the pout that formed on Gisele's mouth, the youth couldn't help but giggle. "Not only are you sexy but you're cute as well." She wrapped her arms around the taller woman's neck, taking in her subtle and uniquely intoxicating scent. Sweet and rich all together. "Have a good afternoon." The petite woman pulled back with a smile, she didn't know why but being with Gisele is so fluid. She never felt like she had to say something or do another, with the attractive business woman she felt at ease. Like falling for Gisele was far too easy. It was a new feeling that she found herself adoring. Watching Annia's hips gently sway as she walked to the elevators, the tall woman couldn't help but bite her bottom lip with lust. She really wanted to kiss Annia, and to kiss her hard. But she wasn't going to push herself on the only woman that made her feel something other than an uncontrollable desire quench her lust. No. She is going to be patient. "Annia isn't another Kathryn and I'm not going to treat her as such." She whispered to herself once the elevator closed and the youths flushed cheeks were from her view. Making her way to the office, with the mental image of the brunettes small arms wrapped around her neck made a big smile spread across Gisele's face. She never liked to be too touchy with the women she was dating but with a certain hazel-brown eyed brunette, the CEO found herself desiring more contact. Pushing the wooden door open, Gisele couldn't seem to rid herself of that smile that exuded from her core to the exterior of her body. Being a woman void of most emotion after all that has happened in her life, Gisele was surprised to find herself happy, if that was the proper word. * * * With the food packed and stored in her bag along with her extremely hot attire, not metaphorically but realistically. Her clothing was absolutely suffocating but she wasn't going to change, or take anything off. 1. Her closet is very limited and suited more for covering her body than exposing it. 2. Her closet isn't really filled with the latest styles, it's mostly her mother and fathers old things, and despite being young and reasonably fit the youth did not have the money nor time to go shopping. 3. Plus in her neighborhood, even showing a little bit of leg is an invitation for some perverted man to come at you. She rather look like a hobo than be prayed on by disgusting men. Taking in some of the summers warm air, Annia ran across the street and skipped into the train station. Standing there, her fathers old bag around her shoulder and her wild hazelnut curls moving across her neck and forehead in an easy way, most of the thick hair moved to the side while her ears tucked the others behind a bare ear, Annia waited. It was going to be a half hour wait before her train would show but she still waited on the platform, her mind taking her back to what just happened. For an instant the youth felt as if nothing actually happen, feeling like she was hallucinating. But the feelings, the warmth that still remained in her cheeks and chest, the beating of her heart that had yet to return to its normal speed, the slight dampness in her palms and even the way her face refused to stop smiling. It all told Annia that she wasn't dreaming or even in another dimension. It told her that she really just kissed someone that she honestly liked, if not already fell for. And more specifically it was a woman aka her CEO! The title kept on floating through her mind and the more it did, the more she got used to it. In-fact she was beginning to like it. Gisele the CEO. Gisele, mine. The youth giggled without planning too. Her internal dialogue escaped her lips and once again expressed itself through sound. But Annia didn't care so much however. She was so giddy that the idea made her even more excited. Shifting her body weight from her heal to the front of her feet, the youth's body swayed softly in a childlike manner that was emphasized even more by her petite frame and fluffy curls. Humming to herself, time seemed to escape her quicker than usual and as her mind replayed the entire day. The brunette had no idea that a certain dark skinned beauty was looking in her direction. "I'm not taking her home but this will do." Gisele spoke to herself, checking her watch as she moved down the stairs of the train station, her black blazer resting on her arm and the crisp white shirt complementing her slim curvacious frame and smooth chocolate skin. Slipping her fingers through her silky black hair as she realized that she still had a while before the train would arrive, Gisele found an area near the platform where she sat down, the bench chilled from the built in air-conditioner. "At least that's working." She mummered to herself, pulling out her Android Galaxy 6.0 and typing in some more information she couldn't get done. As she attended to the papers she needed to complete, her sharp ears caught onto something sweet, soft but gentle with a tone that expressed joy. Lifting her crystal gray eyes in the direction of the humming, Gisele was greeted with the cutest sight ever. There was a certain brunette, moving softly, humming with a gentle smile on her lips. "God she's adorable." She spoke to herself, finding her eyes glued on the small woman. * * * The train pulled up and Annia hoped in, trying to find a seat as soon as possible. Her doe-eyes scattered across the room as her feet carried her along. Finally spotting an empty one, she sat, placing her bag onto her lap and resting her chin against it. Her eyes moved to the window across from her, and as she waited to leave her mind once again traveled to Gisele. While Annia continued reminiscing, the older woman watched her, admiring her unforced beauty. Gisele kept her distance however, she knew that Annia would most likely be surprised and bothered if she saw her on the train, especially after she declined a ride from her. The entire ride she kept to herself, only glancing at the youth every now and then. Once the train finally stopped, Annia stood up from her seat, placing the bag over her shoulder. Expecting the brunette to make her way out of the train, Gisele decided to finish up the email she was working on before making her way out. What she didn't expect was for a certain clean lavender scent to make it's way to her nose, and for curly locks to tickle to side of her neck as four words reached into her ear. "Have a good afternoon." Looking up those crystal gray eyes were met by warm hazel-browns, the youths smile changing her expression from surprised to delight. "You too Annia." Not being brave enough to kiss the tall beauty in public, Annia only smiled before turning around and making her way out of the vehicle. "I wonder how she knew I was on here." Gisele wondered to herself. From her recollections she couldn't pull out a moment when she saw the brunettes beautiful eyes on her own. Mused by the entire circumstance, the CEO quietly laughed to herself, picking up her blazer that rested over her lap and made her exit. * * * Pushing her key into the door and turning it quickly, the young woman made her way into her small apartment, her eyes taking in the warm glow of yellow that decorated the home in warmth and bounced off of her sisters rich hair, that fell in gentle waves unlike her sisters loose curls. Annia Ch. 03 "Annia?" Allison asked, peeking her rich eyes that resembled her older sisters from behind the stained pages of her book. "What are you doing here?" She continued, her eyes now completely focused on her older sister that usually came home at midnight. "We were let out early today. Oh and they had a party so I have a lot of food." Allison smiled, there fridge is usually empty or close to it, so having something to eat that wasn't from the corner store causes a moment of immense joy. Moving from the area where she sat on the floor, surrounded by a few other books and her fathers old notebooks, the adolescent moved over to her sister. "Where?" "Here." Annia beamed, her hands meeting Allison's dark hair and patting it gently. She pulled the bag of food from her bag and handed it to her up-beat sister. Placing her bag in the corner and taking of her sneakers, Annia locked the door (all three of them) and made her way into the home, striping as she moved toward the kitchen. Tossing her heavy cardigan onto the coach and stepping out of her heavy pants, only her bikini pantie and loose top covering her form. "Okay it's hot but that doesn't mean you can walk around naked Annia." Allison stated, her mouth already full with a hardy beef sandwich. "I know, but it's so hot and I've been in that..." her hands pointed back to where her heavy cardigan and pants lied. "Yeah yeah." Moving over to the small dining room table Annia sat across from her babysitter, taking a piece from her sandwich and enjoying it. She didn't want to binge on the meal because it would probably have to last them for the rest of the month. She wouldn't get payed until next week and that is most likely going to have to pay the bills and not fill the fridge. "So..." Allison interrupted her sisters thoughts that seemed to get darker the more she continued to go over things. "Why did you guys have a short work day." The young girl hoped off the chair and made her way to the pristine sink, they didn't have much to eat to make it dirty, but what they did consume was cleaned up right away. Other than reading, which the young girl did everyday, Allison would clean around the house. From the walls, to the floors and everything in between. It was a boring way to take up time but it did distract her from the loneliness she would feel creeping in the back of her heart. "Huh?" Those big hazel-browns looked up, her head turning to view the back side of her small sister that climbed onto the plastic kitchen stool and washed her hands. "Work! Why are you here?" "Oh turns out our...CEO showed up today and would be working with us for a while. She didn't want us to work right away, cause she's absolutely incredible, so we had a party and I raced home." "Wait, did you just say she?" Annia nodded, a big smile forming on her small lips. "WOW!" The youth turned, splashing some water with her quick movements. "That's amazing." "I know. She's amazing." The brunette spoke, her voice clothed in a whimsical garment that made it sound as if she was lost in a dream. "I'm...guessing she is." Allison spoke, suspicion growing as her sister continued to elaborate. The young child didn't have to ask anymore questions because her older sister went on and on about how incredible the woman was, and as their conversation continued Allison was beginning to realize she seemed love-struck. She didn't say anything though, it was the most Annia has spoken in months and Allison was happy for it. She almost never has time to talk anymore and this moment was so important. * * * Annia was exhausted the next morning. She was so used to going right home and then sleeping and waking up, then repeating the same thing over and over again. But last night she and Allison were up, catching up on old times. After unconsciously gushing over Gisele and being teased to no end by her young sister, the older woman spent the rest of her time catching up. She learned so much about the young smart-ass she worked so hard to take care of, and despite the youths witty comments she was happy to be there. They talked for hours. From her favorite books, to moments that happened while she was cleaning up and even her dreams, Annia found that her sister hadn't changed one bit. She was still lovable, excited and full of so much hope that even the college student envied her. Feeling dizzy from her lack of sleep, the petite woman didn't realize that she was dozing until cool hands went around her waist, gently holding her up. She turned slowly, feeling a familiar zing move through her frame. "Good morning Gisele." She whispered not yet looking at the woman's face but rather letting her eyes roam over her clean green jacket that was belted around her small waist, and a white blouse beneath with a small gold necklace resting against her rich coffee skin. When her hazel-brown doe-eyes met with icy grays, thick black lashes emphasizing her beauty even more, she couldn't help but smile. Her lips were not a deep plum but rather coated in a light sheen that appeared to be chap-stick and of-course was very suitable for an already stunning woman. "Good morning Annia." Gisele spoke, her voice smooth like lush chocolate and reaching pale ears. The CEO looked Annia over, she couldn't seem to find a flaw in the woman. She did appear tired but other than that her beauty was still apparent. Those sharp eyes traveled over a small but charming physic that was hidden beneath layers, making the woman disappointed a bit. With one hand holding onto the railing above her, and the other cozy around Annia's waist, Gisele couldn't help but feel...happy. "I hope you don't mind me holding onto you." She whispered, her eyes looking directly into warm forest of green and brown, mixed together in a perfect melody. "No..." Those expressive eyes moved down to long fingers around her waist and then back to face the gorgeous business woman. "It's fine...I'm fine with it." Annia bit her bottom lips suggestively but did it unintentionally, and as Gisele's plump lips formed into a gentle but sexy smile the youth couldn't help but blush and hide her face in the older woman's chest. And then she realized her head was against the older woman's chest. Pulling her body back quickly, Annia nearly toppled over but those firm arms held her close, pulling her back in. Looking down with her chilling eyes, Gisele couldn't help but admire the way the curl haired brunette made her morning seem brighter. How when those cheeks warmed to a bright pink she couldn't help but want to kiss the small woman, it was not a regular morning but then again Gisele had a feeling her mornings would no longer be routine. She had spent the entire night dreaming about this girl, from the tips of her loosely curled hair to the pink tint that kissed her pale button nose, every aspect of Annia was on repeat in the CEO's mind. The older found her body refusing to forget the warm heat that roamed over her body whenever this petite woman would caress her skin, how this woman could touch her so deeply and in such a short time. Her body and mind but fought against her restraint but she remained calm. Annia wasn't another Kathryn and she promised herself not to treat her as such. Too quickly the train stopped, the doors opening and Gisele having to let go of the warm woman against her. "Can I walk you to your office Annia?" Gisele asked, her body still close to Annia despite her hands that no longer held onto her small figure. Looking up as if surprised by the offer, the brunette bit the inside of her mouth gently, her thoughts speeding and tumbling over one another as she scanned every possible outcome of her entering her office with the CEO right by her side. "Yes..." Her mouth released the words before she could hold herself back. Biting onto her tongue with a little regret and great glee, she made her way out of the train, leaving the woman to follow her out. "How was your afternoon?" Gisele's voice broke through the loud, buzzing crowd. Her tone crisp and richer than anything she's ever gotten the opportunity to taste. "Good." Her wild curls swayed in the warm mornings winds, covering a side of her face from Gisele's view. Allowing her long fingers to slip the youths curls behind her ear, Gisele smiled as she was greeted with the surprised and beautiful hazel-brown eyes that looked back at her. "Why did you..." "I couldn't see you beautiful face and it was bothering me." Annia cheeks flushed to a warm pink, the tint rosy and fresh like the leaves of unpicked roses after the rain. "We should...get going." She didn't wait for the goddesses reply, yes she did call her CEO a goddess because she was.Everything about her is so effortless and elegant, her strength coming naturally and subdued. Before she lost herself in those gray eyes, the petite woman crossed the street, making her way to the front door. Not far behind her steps she heard the familiar clacking of heels, the sound of Gisele moving behind her. Saying good morning to her elderly friend at the front desk and other workers around the area, Annia made her way to the elavator, Gisele's euphoric scent inching her little by little off of the cliff she was already danging from. "God I might lose my mind just being around her...wait what am I saying, I've only known her for a day." The youth mentally chastised herself as she stepped into the elevator, waiting as the tall woman stood next to her, closer than was necessary. Beautiful fingers pressed the button marked with six and Annia stood silently, watching the metal doors and encasing her with Gisele. Annia ** Locking all the three locks she had on her home the brunette turned around and was out of the building, tucking her long curly strands of espresso into a ponytail. Her goal was the train and then work. It all seems simple but like life it all always blows in her face. People always remind her why she hates reality and life, they always show their nasty nature when they think and know they can get away with it. Annia hates public spaces, it's like a fucking area for all the perverts that think they can touch whoever the fuck they want, well not think more like know they can do it and get away with it. That's how it all goes, they touch all up on her and live their normal lives with their wife and families as if their not disgusting pigs. MEN! Ugh just the name pisses her off. The only good ones she's ever known were her father and Hamilton. Boyfriends? Nope, she tried that and regretted it badly. If anything it taught her that poker faces were worn by the most innocent and caring looking people. She nearly lost her life to her first and only boyfriend, it was a terror she fears she might experience again. Making her way down the little tunnel and through the usually packed morning crowd, she reached the spot where she is going to get onto the train. Looking down at her arm, her amber brown eyes checked the time on her watch. She had an hour before work. The train takes about forty minutes, which means she had about twenty minutes to make it across the street, up the stair case and into her cubicle. "Okay I think I can make it," she mumbled to herself, fixing her bag which was far too heavy but luckily sturdy enough. She was glad for the bag, it was her fathers old genuine leather tote which he took everywhere and could possibly hold her sister in it if she tried and wouldn't break. Annia moved her eyes around the crowd of people to see if the silver coated train was anywhere close, but nope she couldn't even see the head lights. Her big eyes continued to flow over the various figures the spoke on their phones, with one another...and stood straight and silent with a super expensive jacket, looking like hottest thing ever? What? Her eyes stopped their movement as they stilled onto a mesmerizing figure. This woman is tall, like taller than her dad, who was like five-feet eight. She has long effortless hair that slicked down her back in the shade of ink and settled at her waist. From the side it was clear she was gorgeous, like model on the runway gorgeous, and rich looking too.Like really rich but that isn't new for Annia, she has seen very rich people in the subway various times. They were mostly rich old men, not stunning hazelnut skinned beauties that look like they run shit. Just her presence was making Annia uncomfortable...or was it something else. Either way the woman was drawing her in despite the distance. The brunette hadn't realized she was staring until some creep near the woman smiled back at her, his yellow cracked teeth making her want to puke. 'Disgusting' she thought when she saw him lick his lips suggestively. She grunted at his action and turned her eyes back to the platform where she waited for the train. A few minutes later the train arrived. Annia hurried into the train, her feet hurrying for to find a seat. Standing was not an option when it came to her and the creeps. Plus the dude who thought she was ogling at her seemed to be getting really close to her, his dark owl eyes sending frightening heat over her skin. She looked for a seat but she couldn't find one. A majority of the people were sitting down and she knew no one, especially from the city, would give up their seat for a young girl like her. Common courtesy was only given to the old, those with young children, or pregnant people. Used to having her luck run dry, Annia found a pole to hold onto while she looked out the windows. ** Gisele took the first train that morning to make sure that the service was in top shape for workers that woke up early. She had arrived to the area around six and waited for the train that would arrive in thirty minutes. Her goal was to take this ride to the closest corporation site where her car should be and a meeting is to be scheduled for her arrival. Waiting on the platform, the noir haired CEO had sensed intrigued eyes on her but wasn't sure where they were coming from, but found herself longing to find where they were coming from. Like electricity she could feel a strange ease and interest coming from those eyes but the face was no where close. Shaking away the distracting feeling, Gisele allowed her mind to busy itself with calculating and memorizing every aspect of the subways interior. What made her at least happy, after witnessing the absolutely dreadful seats and equipment that did not at all cater to the customers, was the arrival of the train. It came on time, with not a minute to spare. By the time she made it in, after being pushed around by various people who seemed eager to make it inside, there were no seat available. 'Change the amount of seating in the train,' She made the mental note while taking hold of a pole that was next to a young curly haired brunette. Her eyes moved down to observe the girl next to her, from her curly hair to her over-sized wine colored cardigan. She had a cute style to her, not really her clothes but just her overall features. She noticed the youth's movement realizing the girls cute mix of occupied and nervous. In-fact she looked more than occupied, she looked like she wanted to escape something or...someone. The striking ice silver eyes moved to the figure behind the petite brunette. A moderately tall man stood too close to the young girl, his hands on her waist and other on the pole above her own. Gisele could feel her temperature raising just at the display, the full out invasion of the young woman's privacy made her want to rip out his lyranx and crack his skull. One thing she can't stand is people who think they can do whatever they want because of their position. Doing nothing was definitely not an option. Something told her to just attack him at the moment but the rational part of her mind, which helped her through a lot of business deals, told her to warn him first. Clearing her throat she turned her eyes to the dirty pig, "Excuse me." She spoke to the man, feeling those amber brown puppy dog eyes raise up at the sound of her words. the girl's eyes seemed to send electricity over her figure. She felt that same wave of calmness she had earlier when she was on the platform. "It's her?" She thought, knowing that the youth had to be the one who seemed to be analyzing her prior. The feeling she had was just too unique for it to some random person. The young girl's face was in full view when she turned to Gisele, her face round and pale with the cutest amber brown eyes. The CEO could feel herself lose her breath for a moment, the youth was just so stunning... but it wasn't time to admire the woman's beauty. It was time to deal with the scum right behind her. "WHAT!" He spat back. A anger filled smirk moved onto her lips as she heard his words. Not only is this pig disgusting but he's also righteous as well. The middle-aged man didn't seem to like her smirk so he spoke again, this time moving away slightly from the brunette. "I just wanted to tell you that if you didn't back away from this young woman in two minutes I'm going to break those filthy hands of yours." Anger wasn't evident in her tone, rather she appeared calm and calculated. Her voice demanding attention with a chill of something deadly. His words hung on his lips for a moment, drying as the husky voice reached his ear clear and spiked with venom. "W-what gives you the right to tell me what to do?" He sneered back as more people began to look on. Gisele laughed at his comment, What gives me the right? She moved her head to the side examining the lowly rat while he squirmed unconsciously under her glare. "I don't like to repeat myself sir." "Me neither so...so FUCK OFF." Her eyes met the brunette's and she rose a brow as she silently questioned the young girl, her eyes asking if she wanted her assistance. As much as she wanted to beat the smug pig to a pulp she had no idea what the relation was between the two. Large brown eyes told her that there was nothing friendly between the two so she turned her grey eyes back to the man who decided to once again push against the petite frame. Long arms moved between the man and the brunette. "What is that?" He idiotically asked as if all his knowledge and common sense had been thrown out the window. "My hand." Gisele stated blankly before smacking the harshly against his ruff cheek. The impact was great and cause the middle-aged perv to unsteadily trip backwards. Annia was surprised, she expected the man to insult the woman and a huge argument to happen not for this stranger to get him back with a simple slap. She moved closer to the woman that made her feel unusually safe, which is rear because since her parents death she's never felt safe near anyone or anything. Her hands clung onto the woman's crisp grey coat, moving behind the stunning ebony skinned beauty. "You fucking..." He charged at her and by now almost all the people on the train were watching, the rest half asleep or too used to fights like this. Letting her arms move behind her to hold onto the petite brunette, Gisele slipped the girl to her side gently. She shifted her body to the side so that the idiot could charge all his energy into a side seat. He hit the window and turned around, his face now red with frustration. "Is this normal?" She asked the girl next to her, watching as those deep brown eyes clicked with her ice grey orbs. Annia couldn't find the voice nor the air to respond to her savior, she just shook her head 'yes' as she followed the woman's gentle directions. "Stay here okay?" Gisele spoke softly to the petite woman, her voice soft but clipped as she got fed up with the man's profanity. The brunette nodded, staying by the opposite pole right next to some couple that looked at her with worried eyes. "So sir, are you done?" A few people had already called the police about the man's disturbance but it would be a few minutes before the train would come to a stop. He continued to spew nonsense so she approached him, as he repeatedly told her to do. He charged at her as he had previously, but she didn't move out this time. Her hands took his fist before it could make contact with her cheek, effortlessly she moved it out the way, folding his arm so that it was painfully tucked behind his back, and the using her knee to hit his back causing his feet to grow weak and hit the ground. "All talk." She sneered, her hit wasn't that hard in-fact she drew it back. If she had came at him full force is spine would have been broken not bruised. "You little..." He spoke weakly. Not noticing the smiling people around her, Gisele lowered herself so that she was by his face that rested on the ground. "Save your breath for the police." With that she stood up, taking the bag she had rested against the floor before gently handling the mess of a man on the floor. Before she could turn to the brunette, Gisele noticed the riders of the train clapping for her. It didn't make her feel good or bad, she just didn't see it as a serious circumstance that was worthy of praise. "What's your name?" She whispered to the brunette that stood up from her seat. "It's..." The train abruptly stopped and Annia was pushed forward, her body being pressed against Gisele who simply moved her arm around the girl's small waist. The brunette looked up at the exotic face looking back down at her, steel eyes waiting for a response. "It's..." she coughed as a few people whistled their approval, blushing as she realized the entire scene must have appeared pulled right out of a romance novel or drama. "It's Annia." Her tongue moved over her bottom lip as she moved from the gentle but firm hold, the woman's fingers sending sparks of electricity up and down her spine. "Well..." The noir haired beauty straightened her jacket and held onto her bag. She gazed back at the youth, letting dark strands of hair that had come loose slide back behind her diamond studded ear. "Stay safe Annia. You are far to beautiful to be dealing with scum like him."
