Thanks Fel for your help with this one! ENJOY THE SHOW KIDS! Char held him tight and let him cry his heart out. For an hour his tears filled her suit coat and his sobs made the apartment's normally reserved feeling more somber. Char began to stroke his cheek softly until eventually Terry finally got himself under control enough to stop crying. Slowly she sat them up and as they did his sobs became shallow gasps. Seeing he was finally coming back to his senses Char got them to their feet. She walked him to the couch and sat him down. Once he was down she went to the balcony and shut the window and locked it. She then looked back to him. His expression was still one lost in sorrow. Char saw the door signal flashing and went to it. She buzzed in the delivery man and waited for him at the door. A few minutes went by and a knock let her know the man was on the other side. She opened up and signed for the food tipping him well. Once she got the food she went to the kitchen and set it on the counter. Going back to the living room she noted that he hadn't budged an inch. Not knowing what else to do she sat down next to him and put her arm over his shoulder. Terry felt the gesture and he turned his face to look at her. Her big brown eyes filled his and the look in them was one that made him realize she wanted an explanation. Terry realized that he had little choice but to tell her what was going on so he took a deep shaking breath. "Where should I start?" he asked softly. "Wherever you feel comfortable," Char said in a soothing tone. Terry's let out his breath and began to recall what was going on with him. He told of how his father died and how his mother began to make his life hell. When he told her of the abuse he went through at their hands Terry broke down into tears as he went on. Char listened as he continued and when he spoke of the last year she was nearly horrified. The purely despicable things they had done to him made her skin crawl, somehow she continued listened as he spoke. Her mind swam as she listened and then when he spoke of the money he had in his trust it all began to make sense to her. Terry told her what Vonte had threatened him with and she nearly threw up in her mouth. The utter revulsion of what she heard made her eye twitch. Terry shook as he took another deep breath and as he let it out he spoke. "I'm sorry for being a nuisance to you, but I can't go on like this," he said softly and looked up to her. "No, no, don't say that," Char said and Terry cut into her sentence before she could continue. "But..." he began and she put her hand to his lips to silence him. "I'm more worried about you Terry. Now I want you to tell me what the deal is with your money and why she thinks she's owed it," Char asked him. "My dad left all of us a lot of money when he died, but Mom always said it was hers. She never loved him, she only loved what he had and could give her," Terry said and his voice got angry as he said it. Char nodded her head and had him go on. "Mom got her hands on the account information and though I was supposed to get the money she made it so she could access the money and do what she wanted with it. She blew through her money and once she was done she started to take mine. Her husband does what he does for the money and that's all," Terry said. A simple nod was Char's only response to it. She could understand what people would do for the all mighty green back. She had seen enough depravity in the news involving money and people's lust for it. All her life she saw the misery wealth and the lack of it could bring, and now she had a victim of it in her home. Char sighed as she decided to stop the line of questions as she knew he was likely not in the best frame of mind to continue, but one question came to her that needed answering. "Why haven't you gone to the police with this? They could easily handle a case of embezzlement and extortion," Char asked. Terry looked up at the angelic woman and for a brief moment he had hope, then his eyes slumped back to the floor and the defeat in his shoulders became apparent to Char. "My mom had me committed to a mental hospital when I was eighteen,' he whispered. "So what?" Char asked as much as answered. "She had the doctors there sign papers saying that I was unfit to make decisions of my own. She had me there for six months and while I was there she..." Terry began, but the horror of the institute flooded his memories. Char saw the way he started to shake and she put a stop to it by taking his hand and squeezing it until he looked at her. She knelt down and put her hand on his face and that simple gesture made tears start to well up in his eyes. "That's enough,' she whispered and he nodded his head. Char stroked his cheek softly and had him sit back. The two of them said nothing for the next few minutes. The only sound in the apartment was when the air conditioner kicked on. The two of them held their positions as Char tried to help him relax. Terry's words finally came when he felt nature give him the nudge. "Can I use your bathroom?' he asked softly. She nodded her head and stood up. The movement allowed him to get free of the sofa and to the bathroom. Char stood in her living room while he walked to the bathroom and inside her heart she felt like going to his house and slapping his mother. The thought of a sadistic bitch doing something like that was enough to make her feel like violence, but she also knew the consequences of a rash act. Her train of thought came to an end when she heard the toilet flush and the sink turn on. Her features softened as much as she could allow them and she walked to the kitchen. Char delved into the bags of takeout after the revelations Terry, she needed some type of comfort. Out came her favorite chicken and wild rice dish along with salad and a side of broccoli in garlic. The meal itself seemed less appetizing to her as the words he spoke echoed in her mind. With a sigh she opened the salad and dished out two bowls she set the meal in the fridge and got her balsamic dressing. The light salad was all she really felt like eating and as she walked to the table with both bowls she saw Terry sitting back on the couch. "If you want some, come to the table," she said holding the bowl so he could see it. Char set both down and walked back to the fridge. She got out some juice and filled two glasses. Setting it back she heard the chair being pulled out and slid back. She exhaled in relief that he would eat something. She walked back with the juice and joined him. "Eat what you can," she said knowing as bad as she felt, he was likely worse off. Terry nodded his head and picked at the salad. Char ate hers and sipped at her juice as she wondered what to do next. Likely his mother was going to notice his absence and make a scene of it if he showed up to his work. She sat back and wondered what she could really do. She wasn't anything to him other than a concerned citizen so the police was out. The fact he had been at an institute and had papers saying he was unfit also hindered her. It was as she thought of that a realization came to her mind. "How were you able to put a password in place if you can't make a decision for yourself?' she asked suddenly. "I had my dad's old lawyer do it,' he replied. Char's eyes lit up as she realized that there was likely a loophole in the will that his father's lawyer had used. "Why would he do this for you?' she asked curiously. "Because he and my dad were friends for twenty years and he never liked my mom," he replied softly. Char suddenly had an epiphany. The lawyer likely had a few answers she could use to help Terry out. Likely get him away from the hell house he lived at. "Terry can I have his name and number? I might be able to help you," Char asked and offered at the same time. Terry swallowed down the mouthful he had and looked at her confused. "All I did was slow her down, she can still get the money if I change the password or give it to her,' Terry tried to explain, but Char knew enough about financing to be helpful. "She could, but only if you give it to her. I won't let that happen,' she promised and patted his hand. Terry was lost as he had only one person stand up for him before in his life, and that was just to get even with his mother. His whole life Terry had been put down or worse, but this angelic woman was offering to do so much more. He was nervous and the thought of her helping him made him shiver in fear. "It's OK Terry. I can help you if you let me,' Char said soothingly. "But why?" he asked and she could tell all at once he was scared. Char stood up and walked over to him. She stood behind him and her hands rested on his shoulders. As soon as they were there she felt the tension in them and it was like a bar of iron in her hands. She gently rubbed them and Terry began to shake. "Because I can,' she whispered and that was all she said as she rubbed his shoulders. Terry's eyes closed as the soothing of her large strong hands dug into his tense and knotted muscles. While not a physical specimen, his years of tension had made many knots and nervous ticks in his muscles. Char was no expert at the arts of massage, but the warmth she seemed to resonate helped soothe him. A few minutes of the pleasure was what she gave him, but to Terry it was like an eternity in heaven. "All right, you aren't going back to that pit tonight, so let's see about getting you ready for some rest" she offered. "I can stay here?" Terry asked in confusion. "At least for now," Char said and took his half empty bowl. She gathered hers as well and walked to the kitchen. Terry couldn't help the tears that slipped down his face as he sat in the chair. When she came back she knew he was crying by the bobbing his shoulders were doing. Like a mother she took his hand and lifted him from his chair and before Terry could say a word her arms encompassed him in a hug that he melted into. The repressed agony in him came out and the tears fell freely. His pain and anguish came out in sobs that Char didn't want him to control. The tears soaked her blouse, but she didn't care. The good person in her was not about to make a person suffer if she could help it. Her hug helped Terry more than both could imagine as after a few minutes he got it out of his system and the bobs of his shoulders came to a stop. The tears had run out and finally he was in control of his fears. The strong arms that encircled him made a small part of the scared person Terry became feel safe. Not since he was a child being tucked in by his father had Terry felt safe and sound, but in this woman he barely knew arms, that is what he felt. Char patted his back and pulled away from him and saw his pain filled eyes, but under them she saw a hope that wasn't there before. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up,' she offered and led him to the bathroom. Char led Terry to the bathroom and fished out a towel for him. She also took his coat from him. While he stood in the bathroom afraid to undress in front of her Char looked back to him confused. "Ummm, you're not showering in your clothes silly," she teased. "Umm...I...You're..." he stammered and suddenly blushed furiously. "Awww....you're shy,' she teased and Terry nodded his head frantically. Char shook her head and chuckled. "Just take off your suit so I can have it cleaned then,' she said and Terry looked up to her scared. "I won't peek," she said and covered her eyes then opened the fingers so her eyes came out. The simple gesture actually made Terry smile and chuckle a bit. "See I got my smile,' she teased and ruffled his unruly mop. Char walked to the door and turned so she couldn't see him and Terry undid his shirt. The tee he wore under it didn't hide the bruises from his recent beating and when his pants came off even more showed. He hoped she wouldn't turn, but she did and when she did Char's smiling face got ice cold. Her mouth opened to say something, but her mind stopped her. No need to make him relive the pain. Her mind fumed and steam nearly erupted from her ears as she took the shirt and pants from him. Char went to the shower and made sure the water was on and showed him how to adjust it, then left and when she got out to her room she threw his clothes on the floor and slugged the cabinet next to her. The echoing crack hurt like hell, but the pain got her to think clearly. She only hoped Terry hadn't heard it through the walls. Her breathing got rapid and she felt like the world was turning red around her. It was as she raised her hands in clenched fists she felt something that she could do. Her cell phone buzzed in her suit pocket and she snatched it out. The spam email she got made her see a plan. Quickly the phone came to life and faster than usual she found the name of the person she hoped could help her with her plan. "Nathan Blake," Nathan's voice said over the business line of his office. "Nathan, call me on your cell," Char said into the phone and hung up. Nathan heard the sound of her voice and something told him not to keep her waiting. Nathan fished out his cell and hit her number. The phone rang one time and her anger filled voice came over the other end. "I need your help Nathan," she seethed. "I gather. Now take a chill and calmly tell me what's wrong," Nathan said and he was inundated with the tale she was told. Nathan sat in his office and listened to each word. When he heard enough his voice cut Char off. "So you want to do what?" he asked. "I want him away from that cunt, trash, bitch and her fucking pet asshole!" Char said furiously. Nathan couldn't deny the words as they seemed to drip with a venom he had never hoped to hear come from her normally sweet voice. "Well there are ways you can do it legally, but then again if the deck is stacked against him you may have to go another route," Nathan offered. "And what routes are those?' she asked. "Lying isn't a particularly good thing, but it works. Just say he is your boyfriend and you two wish to move in together. Then get his dad's lawyer to make you a power of attorney for his well- being," Nathan said. "Or the reverse order,' Char said in a distant tone as her mind swam in circles. "If you need help I can get you some with a lawyer I know, or you can go with the dads, but they could fight it in court,' he explained. Char thought about it for a minute then made up her mind. "We'll use his dad's. From what Terry told me he would enjoy sticking to that gutter trash bitch," Char said. "Wow, and how do you really feel?' Nathan joked. Char laughed aloud at that. The joke caught her off guard and made her shake her head. "So let me make a few calls and set a few things up, and tomorrow as we are off for the weekend come on down to our place,' Nathan said. "Why so we can go over things?' Char asked. "Not in front of Donia. She is far enough along that I don't want this affecting her. She wants you to come for dinner with us and to see the baby's room,' he said. "You guys finished it?' she asked. "I DID" yes,' Nathan said laughing. "She supervised then?' Char laughed back. "If you call throwing things at me and bossing me around that, then yes,' Nathan said chuckling. "OK, but then comes the getting Terry out of the house part,' Char thought. "Leave that to me,' Nathan said with a hint of something in his voice. "You'll handle it?" Char asked confused. "Not directly, but I do know a few people that could make him wish to God he hadn't ever looked at Terry. Just come to my house and let's keep him on wraps for the near future. Get a hold of the lawyer and he should be able to draw up the papers for the power in a few hours and get it notarized. If he does want a piece of her, then he'll make it happen. If not call me and I can make it happen,' Nathan said. "Thanks Nathan,' Char said and her voice had calmed down. "That's what friends are for,' Nathan replied. Char sighed audibly at that. "Just relax and keep him on the low. I'll handle his boss. Keep him away from the office until we do this and we can avoid any BS from the dick," Nathan said and Char nodded. "All right. Let me get to it then,' Char said. "Take it easy, and see you tomorrow,' he said. "You too," Char replied and hung up. Nathan got up from his desk and walked to the mail room. He saw the door was locked, but he had a master key. He opened the door and went to the clipboard that had the schedule. He saw Terry was supposed to work Saturday and Monday. He picked up a red pen and scratched it out on both days. He then wrote out a memo to the supervisor to call him when he saw it as he was going to explain the call outs. Nathan had gotten the supervisor his job, so there was a certainty he wouldn't complain. Nathan locked up the door and went to do a walk about of the building to make sure everything was copacetic. As he walked to the elevator he pulled out his phone and dug out a number he hadn't called in a long time. Char was able to cool off long enough to pick up the shirt and pants and take them along with the coat down to the dry cleaner in the building. She knew that he had nothing to wear in her place, and her clothes were out of the question. Thinking of that she decided to take him to a store she knew of and get him some clothes. She put a rush on the pants and walked back to the elevator. Terry sat in the corner of the shower and let the water wash over him for a long time. The pressure of the water actually helped soothe his aches and pains from the previous days. He used the body wash in the shower and scrubbed as he was bathing and noticed something. The smell of the wash was the same of the woman. For a long time he washed his body. Sometimes it bordered on a frantic scrub as he felt dirty. The past was something he was trying to wash as much as the sweat from the day. As his hands worked he didn't hear anything of what happened outside. He was in blissful ignorance of all that was happening. After nearly a half hour he finally turned off the water and stepped out. The bruises on his body shone more in the steam and it made him flinch away from the mirror. Terry found the towel on the sink and began to dry himself. As he tried to dry his back the bruises let him know of his situation by making his shoulders cry out in pain. A noticeable wince came to his face as he dropped the towel and slumped on the toilet. The pain lasted but a few seconds, but the intensity of it made him feel nausea. He sat down on the toilet until it passed, then got back up and finished his task. Once he was dry he picked up his underwear and put them on. His shirt went over and that left him in his skivvies. He had no other clothes and was actually stuck at what to do next. He didn't want to walk out into her house in nothing so he sat on the toilet and waited. Char had finally gotten herself under control and was processing the information that Nathan gave her. She took off her coat and walked to the living room. She sat down on her sofa and crossed her legs. She looked at her bare feet and pondered what she was going to say to the lawyer and how she could possibly get Terry to agree to her help. Then she thought of the word "help" and what it implied in this possible undertaking. The realization was she was going to use a disgruntled lawyer to help her commit a form of strong arming to make the bitch let Terry go, that was if she did. Her Love Ch. 02 As she sat thinking Char suddenly brought herself to the here and now. The shower wasn't running and she had no idea where Terry was. She got up and walked to the bathroom and saw the light was on. She knocked softly and listened for a response. When she didn't hear one she suddenly felt a pang of panic and opened the door. Terry jumped from the seat as the door opened and stood still in his undershirt and briefs. Char stopped short as she saw the near undressed man and she had her mouth open in surprise. She could guess he was slim, but when she saw his tiny frame she almost giggled. Then the happy thought passed as her eyes found the bruises on his legs. What's more she saw how he was shaking and that made her stop anything else. Without a word she walked to her closet and found a plain white robe for him. Terry was truly embarrassed as he stood in the bathroom. He was shaking as he hadn't expected the woman to walk in like that, but she did and saw him in his underwear. He wanted to crawl into a hole when she came back in and handed him a large white robe. Terry took the robe and put it on and they both had a reason to laugh. The robe that hit Char at just above her knee almost hit the floor on Terry. They both stood there with a similar look on their faces. "Your pants are being cleaned, so you'll have to make due,' Char said breaking the silence and the amusement in her voice couldn't be contained. Terry nodded his head and looked up at her and Char couldn't help the smile on her face. It wasn't mocking, but genuinely amused by what she saw. Terry saw the smile and he actually cracked a smile in return. The two of them stood there for a moment before Char extended her hand to him. Terry took the hand and they walked to the sofa where Char had him sit down. She walked to the table that was close enough and leaned against it. Taking a breath she quickly planned out what she was going to say to him and let it go. "I don't want to see you go back to that hell hole Terry. I want to help you, but I need you to help me. Will you help me?" she asked softly. "How?" Terry asked back confused. "Well for starters I need you to call that lawyer of your fathers. I have a plan to help you get away from that cu...' Char started to say then she saw his eyes and changed gears,' your mother and her husband." "But they won't let me go. Mom says that she is the only one who can make decisions for my benefit,' Terry said and his eyes began to well up. Char saw that and shook her head. "Not necessarily. If I can get in touch with your lawyer then we can do something about that,' Char explained. "How? She can fight it and win no matter what I try!" Terry exclaimed and his hands came to the side of his head as he slumped in the sofa. "She hasn't gotten past your codes on your account now has she?" Char asked simply. "But the lawyer can't do anything about that," Terry retorted. "He can't, but we can!" Char exclaimed and stalked over to Terry. He was about to say something when her hands took his from the side of his head and brought them to his lap. His eyes found her orbs and lost himself in them. Char noted the effect she was having and decided to move all in. "If we say that we are a couple and have him sign a power of attorney then I can get you from that hell hole and here to safety. What happens after that is up to you,' she explained simply. Terry's eyes snapped back to the here and now as she said that and he had a hopeful look in his eyes. "We..we..can?" he stammered. "Yes,' Char said and squeezed his hands. "I can...stay here?' he asked hopefully. "For as long as you need until you feel ready to go on your own,' she offered. In truth Char knew he was going to need help, but she didn't mind helping him as her being screamed at her to do just that. Her apartment was large enough that she could easily let him stay with her for a few weeks or so and get himself sorted. From the trust fund he said he had she could help him set himself up somewhere nice and move on with his life. "So what do you say?" she asked. "OK," he whispered and looked down at his feet. Char stood up and walked to her counter. She picked up her cell and handed it to him. Terry took the phone and dialed the number to the lawyer's office. The phone rang a few times then was answered by a receptionist. Terry asked for his father's lawyer and after a short wait the line came to life. "Terry, this is Bob Cameron. Are you all right?" Bob asked. "Y...yes...I'm fine Bob...um I have someone who wants to talk to you," Terry said into the phone. "If it's your mother than hang up! I don't wish to talk to her,' Bob said forcefully into the phone. "No!" Terry exclaimed and handed the phone to Char. "Hello? Terry? Terry answer me," Bob said into the phone thinking Terry was off the phone, but Char was quick to answer him. "Mr. Cameron?" Char asked into the phone. "Who is this?" he retorted in a dangerous tone. "My name is Charmel Clark. I am Terry's friend and need to talk to you if you have a moment sir,' she said in a professional tone. "About what?" Bob asked with more than a little hostility. "About getting him away from that bitch and her fucking husband," Char said in the phone not masking her own distaste of Terry's mother and Vonte. Bob's eyes opened wide on the other end and he stood up. He quickly went to his door and closed it then returned and sat down. "I think you and I have a similar distaste for his current situation and should look into a way to how to get him out of it; wouldn't you agree?" she asked plainly into the phone. "I would suppose so, but why should I trust you or even listen to you?' he asked. "Because I am willing to help him, and not for any financial or proprietary gain," Char said simply. "Go on," he said. "Let's meet in public and we can go over the details. I wouldn't want this conversation recorded or anything,' Char said. "Fine. Let's meet at Session House in an hour,' Bob said into the phone. "Thirty minutes, come alone and I'll bring Terry,' she explained. "Of course,' Bob said and hung up. Char looked to Terry and smiled at him. Terry was lost as to what they were planning. He was really scared and Char saw it. She put her hand on his shoulder and looked him dead in the eyes. "Let me go get your pants,' she said and stood up. Terry was quiet as she left and was gone for a few minutes. He looked around the house and was in awe of what was happening. It was so sudden he had no words for it, but he was glad for it deep down. For the first time in a long time he felt safe and secure. But then he thought of meeting Bob and the scary thought of them not being able to help him. His mind swam with thoughts until he heard the door open and saw Char come back in. Char found him right where she left him and was glad for that. She had his pants on a hanger and handed them to him. Terry picked them up and went to the bathroom to change. Char decided to change and went to her bedroom. She stripped off her blouse and went into her closet. She found a nice skirt and a simple blouse to wear and some good shoes. She walked back out into her bedroom and removed her slacks. The blue lace bra and panties she wore were nice and alluring on her skin. What she didn't know was she unconsciously left the door open and Terry just so happened to walk by the hall. When Terry's eyes saw her in just her bra and panties they widened like saucers. He was transfixed as the woman slipped up the skirt and secured it. Her subtle motions were perfect to his eyes as she put on the top and buttoned it up. The shoes went on her feet and Terry moved himself away from the door lest she see him and he got in trouble. The only evidence that he saw her was the hard on that was tenting his pants. Terry hurried to the sofa and sat down hoping it would go away before she came back. Char walked from her bedroom to the living room and saw Terry sitting on the sofa with his head down. Her light steps were not amplified by the clicking of heels as her shoes were flats. Terry didn't hear her approach until he just looked up and saw the shadow of her over him. The towering beauty filled his eyes and left him speechless. The way she leaned over him also filled his eyes with a very lovely image of her full cleavage. "Terry, we are going to meet your father's lawyer. I need you to tell me everything I need to know about him on the way. Can you do that?" she asked. Terry was somehow able to tear his eyes off her breasts to look her in the eyes. He hoped she hadn't seen him looking as he nodded his head. "What do you need to know?" she asked. "Everything about your trust that I can use to help you with the negotiations I am about to undertake,' she said as she helped him rise. "I only know the account and some small things,' he said simply. Terry really didn't know much of it in truth. All he had was what he was told in the will reading and then he only could trust Bob as counsel if things got out of control with it. Terry took a deep breath and recounted all he knew. He told her about the will and the reading. How his mother had gotten her own attorneys to make the will a device meant to torture him. She used the clause that he had to be twenty one to collect a pretense for her to be an executor of it. Then he explained how she and Vonte spent the money. Char listened intently from the elevator to the car. Down the city streets she absorbed all the information he had and when she found out he was only nineteen that caught her off guard. "You're only nineteen?" she asked in shock. "Umm...yeah," he replied. "Hmm," was all Char could say. Terry looked down at the floor again and Char sat in silence. She formed all his sentences into grouping thoughts in her mind and sorted out anything she could use to an advantage to get the ball rolling. As the car pulled into the valet parking she sat in her seat and was so lost in thought it took the honking of the horn behind her to make her look up and pull into the valet spot. She got out of the car and took Terry into the bar after getting her ticket. Inside the bar she took Terry to the dining area. Sitting down she took the menu and ordered a glass of wine for herself and a tea for Terry. Her appetite came back to her and she ordered a quesadilla and chicken tenders. Terry didn't order anything and the two sat and waited for Bob to arrive. As they sat Char sipped her wine and couldn't help but think of what she was doing. Her mind swam in circles as she pondered the gray area she was walking into. While helping Terry was nothing she was ashamed of, she was worried of the implications of it should things not go as she planned. At worst she could face a serious charge of attempted extortion or wrongful detaining of Terry. As the thoughts filled her mind she didn't see Terry was looking at her face. Terry was lost in her eyes. While his eyes were a nice brown, hers were a darker shade. They made her face so much lovelier than he could imagine. The simple way they shone as she was thinking entrapped his mind as he gazed deeply in them. His own mind was so lost that he didn't see Bob had approached the both of them. Bob Cameron was not anything anyone would expect when they looked at him. He was an average sized man of five foot nine. His body was one that showed his many hours of tennis each week. His hair was a thick brown with flecks of gray in it. The biggest thing about him was his features. Bob's mother showed in his facial features as he was a product of a black mother, but his Asian father gave him his hair and eyes. His father died when he was young and his mother did the best she could for him growing up. It was when he was in high school he showed his worth by going to college at seventeen and passing the bar exam when he was twenty three. Bob had changed his name when he was fifteen to help make things go easier for him. Raizaku was hardly a name people would work with, but Robert was. He changed it to Robert and when he was school everyone starting calling him Bob. He used his mother's name as well and made a good life for himself. A married man with three kids Bob was a good man with strong morals. Bob looked down at the son of his best friend and was relieved he was still in one piece, then his eyes took in Char. They grew wide as the large woman saw him and stood up. "Robert Cameron. I used to be counsel for Terry's father before he left us,' he said politely. "Charmel Clark, we spoke on the phone earlier," Char said smiling and took his hand. The two of them shook hands and Char was impressed he was not intimidated by her at all. The way his eyes bore into hers impressed her. She knew right away he was sizing her up. "Yes, we did. I seem to recall you wished to help Terry with his troubles,' Bob said as he took a seat after Char. Char noted he sat next to Terry and put his hand on Terry's shoulder. Terry didn't flinch from it as he knew the man was really one of the few real friends he had. Char was, however, disappointed that he didn't help Terry before it had come to this. "So we have a simple plan to deal with her. We get Terry away from her and put his trust somewhere that she can't put her filthy hands on it,' Char said matter-of-factly "You make it sound so simple,' Bob retorted then continued, "That woman has her claws so deep into Terry that it would take the Supreme Court to get them out." "I doubt that," Char relied. "The woman has a court order that he is unfit to make decisions for himself from a respected psychologist. What's more she also had her lawyers make her the executor of the estate of Terry's father. Now with that in her corner she can pretty much do anything she wants,' Bob explained. Char nodded her head and bit into her chicken tender. She chewed it and swallowed it down then a glimmer came to her eye. "And what of the expenditures of the account?" she asked. "What about them?" Bob asked. "Well obviously she isn't supposed to be wasting Terry's rightful money's without his consent am I correct?" she asked. "She can only spend money to help make the account grow, or for emergency spending only,' he explained. "And has she?" Char asked with a grin on her face. "I would have to examine the receipts and purchases of the spent money, but she has shown me it's going to be difficult to prove otherwise," Bob replied. Char had the biggest grin on her face as she sipped her wine and saw Terry was shaking like he needed to say something. A simple touch of her hand to his fingers made him look up at her. The look in her eyes told him to be out with it. "She and Vonte...they spent the money on themselves, but tried to invest in his company," Terry said softly. Bob turned to look at Terry and his eyes were wide. "Terry why didn't you come to me with this? I could have...' he started to say when Char cut him off with a thud. Her hand hit the table and he looked at her incredulously as she seemed to grow as her anger was apparent. "She had the poor man terrified of talking to anyone! The asshole beat him to make him docile then they took liberties to flaunt their willingness to extort him at a whim! It wasn't his fault!" Char said and the venom in her voice made Bob sigh and look down. Terry felt Char's fingers suddenly do something he hadn't expected, they intertwined with his. The gesture was meant to comfort him, but under it all it was Char making him feel safe. She held his hand as she decided to lay out the plan to Bob. "Now listen to me. I know you don't like her at all, am I correct in this?" she asked plainly. "You would be correct," Bob said and his eyes fixed on her face. "Then let's work together and bring the cunt down,' Char said emphatically. "How?" Bob asked. "Draw up a power of attorney for me allowing me the right to help Terry make his own choices with the money. As for him moving out of his mother's house, he is over eighteen and can leave if he so desires. He will move in with me and then we can make sure he is well off when things settle down," Char explained. "He is of age to move out, but what then? After all this blows over she will have his account information and can try to force him to reopen it to her once he is away,' Bob reasoned. "I have my ways and know a few people to make sure she doesn't," Char said coolly, an eager gleam in her eye thinking of the bitch trying. "And what guarantees do I have that you don't want to help just for the money?" Bob asked. Char heard that and a switch flipped in her mind. The cool exterior slipped and a burning fire came to her. Bob's eyes got wide and he sat back in his chair as her burning eyes bore into him. "I am not doing this for any reason other than I will not tolerate a bitch and her piece of shit husband terrorizing a young man for their petty fucking greed,' she hissed and Bob nodded. Terry saw the change in her eyes and it scared him at first, but as soon as the fires burned away her warm eyes came back and found his. The look they shared was one that spoke volumes to Bob. "Give me forty eight hours to draw up the papers and have them signed off on by a judge. Then you can move him out of the house," Bob said and got to his feet. He turned and looked to Terry and put his hand on his shoulder and squeezed it gently. "Your father asked me to help you if I can. Now it seems I can make good on my promise, son," he said and gave Terry a smile. With that he looked across the table to Char and extended his hand to her. Char gracefully took it and they shook. As soon as it was done Bob turned and left pulling out his cell phone as he departed. Char saw him even stop and pay their bill on the way out. She smiled at that and looked back to Terry. "You're doing this...for me?" he asked in a whisper. Char smiled and squeezed his hand then went back to her meal. As she was about to bite down she stopped and handed him a tender. Terry took it and bit down on the chicken and they had a quiet time finishing the appetizers. Silently they finished their meal and tipped the waiter as they left. During the quiet drive back to Char's apartment they had no words except for Char complaining about the traffic that seemed to appear from nowhere. What would have taken ten minutes took nearly twenty. As they pulled into the building Char parked it in her spot and they walked to the elevator. Looking at the time it was after eight and likely all the clothes stores would be closed. Char decided against taking him for a change of clothes till the morning. As they got into the elevator Char actually stunned Terry by putting her arm around his shoulders and holding him close to her side. The warmth that radiated off her body made Terry unconsciously lean into her. The sight was actually cute as the tall woman held the smaller man to her. As the door opened the building custodian was greeted to the strange sight, but said nothing as he continued cleaning the floor. Char and Terry walked by him with no words and walked into her apartment. The night was spent watching movies. Char let him pick the movies and wasn't surprised by the choices he made. From "Avengers" to "The Dark Knight Rises" Char watched the both and was glad to see Terry relax enough that by the end of the last movie his eyes were closed and he was sound asleep. She left him on the sofa and put a sheet over him as he slept and walked to the balcony. She locked it and drew the shades closed. She also put a rod in the door in hopes he would not do anything rash in the middle of the night. Sleeping soundly on the sofa Terry snoozed away and Char padded to her room. The apartment had three rooms, but only one guestroom as the other was her gym and office. She walked into the room and stopped as she didn't want to wake him if he was fine. Sighing she went to her closet and stripped down. A pair of short shorts and a tank top slipped over her as she walked to the bathroom and washed her face. Her Love Ch. 02 The stress of the day was not something the water could wash away, but it still felt nice. Drying off she rubbed her lotion into her arms and legs then stalked to the siren that called to her. The soft pillow met her head and in a few minutes she found sleep was not something that was going to be easily met. Char tossed and turned for nearly an hour before she was finally able to sleep, if one could call it that. Char's eyes cracked open and she turned over to see the alarm on her clock was three hours from going off. It was barely four and that meant she had maybe an hour and a half of troubles sleep. Something in her made her stand up and walk to the living room. Once there the point was made clear as she saw Terry, on the floor curled as deep into the sofa's leg as he could get. The shaking he was doing was very noticeable as was the whimpers that came from him. Char watched him for a few minutes, then she couldn't take it anymore. Quietly she walked to Terry and put her hand on his arm. The touch startled him awake. His terrified eyes were not adjusted to the dark and he began to panic. Char saw it and held his arm firmly. "Hey, hey,hey...it's me," she said firmly. Terry was breathing deeply as he heard the words and they calmed him down a touch. When he was more focused Char took a firm grip on his arm and helped him stand. The sleep deprived eyes of Terry's barely opened as he didn't resist her as she helped him to his feet. Char didn't know why, but she led him to her room and set him down on her large bed. The moment he was on it he was out cold. Char wasn't so sure why she was doing this, but for some reason it felt right to her. Keeping him close actually helped soothe her mind of him trying anything rash. To make sure of it she tucked him into the blankets so that if he moved it would disturb her. Char laid down on her back and after a few minutes, her eyes closed and she got some real sleep. The hours passed both by and when they awoke in the morning it was a fun time. Char took him shopping after they ate and the time spent was very amusing. She took him to a nice store for good clothes. The chore was finding something for him that wasn't too baggy or just plain silly looking on him. He didn't have the body for half of the clothes, and Char wasn't about to make him look like a bag boy. The time spent made her realize another thing, she needed to buy him some new underwear. The tidy whities he wore made her shake her head. After about three hours of work they got him three new outfits and some boxers. At first Terry tried to protest the change, but Char was adamant. They went back to her apartment and spent a leisurely time watching movies and relaxing. This time Char got to watch what she wanted and surprisingly Terry watched them with her. The two of them watched until about five that afternoon and got changed. Terry dressed in a nice pair of jeans and a shirt that was blue and actually looked good on him. The buttons of the shirt made it presentable and the shoes he got made him look better than he was used to. Char dressed in a pair of jeans and a shoulder-less shirt. The long sleeves held up the shirt as did the strapless bra she wore. The knee boots she put on had a slight heel and made her tower over Terry when she walked out to the living room. Once she was out Terry was stunned by the beautiful woman that came toward him. The black shirt with the blue jeans and black boots was an amazing look on her. Her bare shoulders and red painted lips made his heart quicken as he looked at her. The dazzling smile she had only made him weaker in the knees than he already was. Char put her arm around him and led him to the car. They drove to the beat of her favorite play list. The good music was nothing Terry would expect her to listen to. It was a collage of different stuff, from jazz, blues, and R&B if it was music, it was there. The good music had a side effect of helping him to relax while they drove out of the city itself and into the outer parts of town. Nearly thirty minutes went by before they came to their destination and Terry was surprised when he saw a familiar face greeting them at the door of the two story townhouse. "Bout time you got here,' Nathan Blake said smirking as he saw Char walking up with Terry. "Why? I miss something important?' she asked. "Hell no, but Donia might eat your portion if you're not inside soon," he retorted and laughed at the joke. His laughter died away as Donia came out and slapped him on the back. "Bendejo!" she scolded and walked to her friend. Donia was wearing her favorite blue overalls with a nice red maternity shirt under it. She wore simple sneakers and had her long hair in a tight ponytail. She hugged her friend and looked past after they broke and her face was curious. "New boy toy?' she asked. "No, he's a friend," Char replied. "Finally!" Donia exclaimed suddenly making everyone stare. Donia walked past Char to a unsure looking Terry. As she got to him she was taller than him and a quirky smile came to her face. "I'm not the shortest person here anymore!" she laughed. Nathan shook his head chuckling and Char slapped her forehead as she tried to hold back the laugh. Terry slumped his shoulders at the joke, but the way the bubbly woman came up to him made him look up. "No,no,no! You can't shrink anymore!" Donia laughed and patted his arm. Terry was unsure of what the woman was doing, but suddenly he felt secure as the man he knew walked up and patted his back. "So I get to see you out of work," he said and patted Terry twice on the back. 'Umm...yes sir,' Terry replied. "How many times I gotta tell you; don't sir me," Nathan laughed and ruffled his hair. Terry laughed and ducked his head at the playful tussling. Nathan smirked and went to the door. "I hope everyone's hungry cause it's ready,' he said and entered the house. Donia followed him in and Char looked to Terry. She held out her hand and he took it. She didn't pull him, but just nudged him on and they entered the house. Once inside Terry was taken aback by the nice house. From what he saw they had a good setup in the living room and the stairs to the upper level held pictures of the two of them, and a few he couldn't see. When Nathan came back in his shirt rode up his arm enough that Terry saw the tattoo on it. He couldn't place it, but at the bottom he saw what looked like an anchor. On Nathan's other arm he saw something he couldn't place. What he could see was that Nathan, while six foot two, was still three inches shorter than Char. He was amazed at that, but then he smelled the food being set on the table. The food was beef and chicken fajitas with rice and beans and tortillas. The food looked and tasted great, and the company was fun. Nathan let the women talk amongst themselves as they ate and couldn't help but notice how quiet Terry was being. Terry ate his food and didn't say more than one or two word answers. Seeing that Nathan got a wild idea. "So how's life these days kid?" He asked after swallowing down a bite of his meal. Terry looked up to see Nathan giving him a smile. He looked to Char and then Donia, then he looked around the house and realized he was amongst friends and decided to answer. "Better," he replied truthfully. "That's good to hear!" Nathan said using his marine voice. Char heard the voice and looked over to the brewing conversation. "Am I boring you mami?" Donia teased. "Please girl, I just needed look away cause I got tired of looking at you in panoramic," Char joked. Donia laughed at her and slapped her arm making Char and Nathan laugh. Terry saw that and he chuckled to himself. Nathan saw the laugh and for the first time he saw his shoulders relax and he seemed to wind down a little. The table of friends enjoyed the next hour of dinner then broke off to see the new baby room. The room was in neutral blues and yellows. The crib was the same one that Char had gotten Donia at her shower. The stuffed toys and mobile over the crib were all very cute. The room was definitely ready for the new Blake, but Char had one question they still hadn't answered. "So what's my god baby gonna be?" she asked playfully. Donia smiled as she rubbed her tummy and looked down at it. "We decided to make it a surprise," she said softly. "Aw! How cute!" Char squealed. As Char said that Donia suddenly inhaled sharply and her eyes got wide. "Ai dios mio!" she cursed and suddenly moved quickly to get by Char. "You OK Donia?" Char asked confused. Nathan knew the likely reason she left like that and shook his head. "I think she got kicked in the bladder,' he said and sighed. "Oh poor thing," Char replied and looked at the path Donia took. "Is she going to be OK?" Terry asked. "Oh yeah, she just needs to hit the head or it'll be a messy clean up," Nathan joked. Char looked back to Nathan and a smirk came to her face,"Now you see why I haven't had any yet." Nathan laughed, but under it he had a grin. He got the laugh settled and his face became more serious. He looked at Terry and then back to Char. "When you have everything settled I have a few people that will help you out with moving him from his old house,' Nathan said softly. Char was unsure of what he meant and Nathan saw it on her face. "Back when I was in I met a few guys that worked for a PMC. A few of my guys got out and joined up with said company and are actually home for a while. They took it as a favor to me," he said softly and when he heard the toilet flush he stopped talking. Char nodded her head and as she did Nathan took a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to her. Char put it in her bra and as she did Donia came back into the room. "Let's hope he's done kicking me for now," Donia grumbled. "It's a he?" Char asked playfully. "If it ain't a he, then she is gonna be a helluva soccer player," Donia joked. "Or she could be a dancer," Terry said softly and everyone looked at him. "She could indeed," Nathan said and patted his back. The friends enjoyed some coffee and desert after they were done looking at the room. Their time together was pleasant, but soon it came to an end. Char and Terry drove back to her place and as they did Char decided to talk to Terry about what was going on. "So do you understand what is going to happen in a few days?" she asked. Terry nodded his head and looked down. Char realized the subject was one he likely didn't want to talk about. Even though he didn't want to talk about it Char knew they needed to be on the same page when things happened or there would be problems. "Terry, listen to me. I need you to tell me you understand what's going to happen. It's really important,' she said firmly. "I do, but....I'm....I'm scared of anyone getting hurt," he whispered. Char heard that and it made her curious. "And why would anyone get hurt?' she asked. "Because...because Vonte likes to hurt people," he spit out and started shaking. "I'm sure he does, but he won't hurt me,' Char said and her confidence filled voice seemed to reach Terry. Terry looked up and was surprised by the firmness in her tone. Terry saw her face and the same look she had when she talked to Bob was there. The intense eyes scanned the road ahead as she effortlessly drove them home. Something in her tone seemed to touch his fears and calm them. The sheer force of her will made Terry believe that with her there was no reason to fear Vonte or anyone for that matter. "If he fucking tries anything with me, it'll be the last mistake that motherfucker makes," she promised and Terry believed every word of it. They drove the rest of the way in silence. Once they got back to her apartment Char and Terry relaxed and had some hot chocolate. They watched "Rock of Ages" and Terry actually surprised Char by being very into the movie. They laughed and at a few songs they sang along with. The time spent was fun and both found themselves leaning near the other. Char's arm was over his shoulders and they both lounged as the end credits rolled. Char looked at the time and decided to call it a night. Slowly Char got to her feet and as she did stretched fully. Her fingers, as usual, brushed the ceiling making a giggle come from her throat. Terry watched her stretch and couldn't help but admire the view. He felt a feeling deep in him that wanted to reach out and touch her, but he knew better than to try. Once Char was done stretching she went to the bathroom. Terry got up and went to the kitchen for a drink of water. As he poured the glass he couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to touch her skin. He sipped his water and his mind wouldn't let go of idea of him and Char. The hard on that sprouted in his pants also was testament to how he was feeling. He put the glass away in the dishwasher and hoped it would go away before she noticed. Slowly he walked back to the sofa and sat down. Char walked back to the living room and saw Terry on the couch. She shook her head and walked back to the bedroom to change for bed. Similar shorts and a shirt found their way to her body. As she was changing the paper Nathan gave her fell out. She picked it up and opened the paper looking at the contents. What she saw was a name and a phone number to call the next day to make arrangements for the time she was ready. When the paper was put away she went back out to see Terry was falling asleep on the sofa. Like the night before she took him to her room and tucked him in to bed. That night he slept quietly without whimpering and tossing around. She could guess why and that actually made her smile as sleep washed over her. The next day was a day Char was ready for, but she was nervous about at the same time. They had breakfast and were relaxing when Bob called her and informed her the papers were ready. Char was amazed that on a Sunday he would have the papers ready and signed by a judge. He proposed to meet her at a market near her apartment and she left Terry alone in her apartment as she left to get the needed papers. Char met Bob in the market and true to his word he had the promised papers waiting in a envelope. "Now that you have this, the rest is up to you. I strongly suggest you be careful with this and don't let that bitch get her hands on Terry afterward,' he said as they browsed the market after Char took the folder. "She won't," Char promised then her curiosity took over. "Why do you hate her so much?" she asked. Bob took a deep breath through his nostrils and exhaled the same way. He looked at the store and saw the many people meandering about and found his will to speak of the past. "Terry's father and I were friends for almost thirty years. We went to grade school together, hell we went to all schools together. I warned him about that fucking bitch when he was dating her," Bob said and took off his glasses to rub his eyes. Char looked at him and noted he looked very disappointed, he was not sure where the disappointment stemmed from. "When they were about to get married after he struck it big I warned him over and over about her. He didn't listen to me and for a while I stopped talking to him. I came back to his life when he needed help with a legal matter and when it was done I met Terry," he explained and stopped by the counter to buy a soda. Char refused his offer for one and bade him to continue. "Terry never had it easy when he was growing up. His father worked a lot and that bitch mother of his didn't give two shits about him. In school he was constantly bullied and teased for being quiet and smaller than everyone. Even when he went to private school it didn't stop. I tried to do what I could for him, but it never seemed to help. Then the shittiest day in his life happened when Dan was diagnosed with cancer,' he said then paused to take a drink. Bob walked along the parking lot and after he swallowed his soda continued. "Bernice didn't even bother waiting for him to die when she got her lawyers into gear to make sure she got what she decided she was due. Then the ass fuck named Vonte Davidson came to her life and shit got even worse," Bob spat and stopped so he could swig his soda again. Char was noticing the pure hatred in his voice and that was all she needed to put a stop to it. "I will make sure Terry is safe and sound after this is done. You can rest assured that there is no way in hell that bitch or that asshole will ever touch him again," Char said and the look in her eyes showed her full intent. Bob said nothing other than to extend his hand and shake hers firmly. The contract they sealed at this moment was binding, both knew the likelihood of something going south was there, but both were willing to take the risk. Bob was taking the risk for his dead friend and a chance to make sure his son would be safe. For Char it was the genuine wish she had to make sure people like Bernice and Vonte got what they deserved. Bob went back to his car and disappeared from the lot. Char went to hers and got in the driver's seat. As she sat she opened the envelope and read the fine print. The signature on the paper was by a judge, likely a friend of Bob's, and all it needed was Terry's signature next to hers. Char read everything and it plainly said she had the authority to help Terry make decisions with his money until his twenty first birthday. The fine print also stated that he was making the decision freely of his own accord. Char set the paper back into the envelope and put it on the seat next to her. She pulled from the lot and drove back to her apartment. Along the way she prepared her mind for the simple, but life altering task ahead of her. The long ride up the elevator gave her time to relax enough to make the biggest pitch she was ever going to make. She knew that if he signed the paper there was no going back. She sighed as she heard the ding, then walked boldly to her apartment. A swipe of her card made the buzz sound and she entered into her domain. Terry heard the door buzz and turned to see her walking into the apartment with a large envelope. She said nothing as she walked along to the table and bade him to come to her. His feet were moving before his mind told them to and soon he was at the table sitting down next to her. He watched as she opened the envelope and pulled out a stapled stack of papers. At the top of them he saw the heading of Bob's firm and that made him look at it very cautiously. The papers were set in front of him and he looked down at them. "OK, so what we have here is a standard power of attorney form. You sign it and you are free from your mother for as long as you wish to be. For the sake of your trust it will allow me to help you keep it safe from her with no legal consequences," Char explained as Terry absently looked at the form. Seeing Terry was lost she decided to help him to understand it. "This means that you can leave your mother's house and move to anywhere you wish. I can help you keep safe from her and you can stay with me for as long as you need to get on your feet,' she explained. Terry was shaking and his breathing was coming in quick intakes. She knew he was probably terrified to make any moves against his mother and her husband, but for Char's sanity she wasn't going to let him stay there if she could help it. "I won't make you sign this document Terry, but I can promise you that if you do your life will get a whole lot better," she said and took his hand to try and calm him down. "I...I...can....I can s..stay with you?" he asked as her hand engulfed his. Char smiled brightly and nodded her head," As long as you need to sweetie,' she said soothingly. Terry exhaled a shaking breath through his nose and with the barest of nods he agreed. Char handed him a pen and pointed where he needed to sign and initial. She took the paper and signed next to her spot and when it was done she put it back in the envelope and stood up. She engulfed Terry with her arms and just held him to her. Terry's nostrils filled with the sweet smell of her body and lotion and he didn't want to leave it. Tentatively his arms found a perch around her hips and Char smiled at that. Her Love Ch. 03 Hey kids! So be honest, you didn't see that last one coming did you? I know,I know, I'm a big stupid meanie face. But then again would you have me any other way? ENJOY THE SHOW! * Terry was petrified as he heard the door start to open. Though Char's soft lips had calmed him temporarily, the fear of coming back to his own personal hell was starting to get to him. The lock slid into place loudly and every noise the familiar device made caused another shake to come to him. The large hand of Char found his and the squeeze she gave it provided him with the strength to face the demons that were on the other side. Jenny opened the door and there was Terry. Her face became a sneer as she saw her errant brother. Her face became the same obnoxious sneer it was before she launched into him. The malice in her shrill voice was on full bore as she tore into him. "Where the fuck have you been Terry! Vonte's gonna have your..." she began to say, but a loud throat clearing stopped her dead in her tracks. Jenny's eyes found the source of the sound and when they did her neck was forced to crane back to see the whole spectacle of Charmel standing next to him. Up and up Jenny's eyes traveled till they met the firm jaw and scowling lips. And slower still they found the hard face of a quite stunning woman, but her beauty was marred by a scowl that drained the will from Jenny. The burning eyes that bore into her caused Jenny to stop her tirade in mid-sentence. The unspoken threat of pain or worse made her stand still and tremble a bit. "Step aside,' Char said plainly. "Um...who...who are you?' Jenny stammered out trying to keep herself firm. Char's eyes bore directly into hers and she took a step forward that brought her to within inches of Jenny. The fear in the smaller woman's eyes became apparent almost immediately as Char towered over her and crossed her arms. While not heavy in muscle, the tone of her arms was clear as was the tightness of her belly as she breathed evenly. The threat of pain hung silently between Char and Jenny and after a few long seconds of the display Char finally spoke. "I am the one who is coming into this house and getting Terry's things. The men behind me are going to help Terry pack. Then, we are going to leave and it's not your fucking business as to where we are going,' Char said sternly. Jenny unconsciously moved her hand from the door and when she did Char walked right by her and purposely slammed into her shoving her out of the way with her large frame. Jenny was shoved to the side and her back impacted the clock next to the door. The two men saw the spectacle and grinned as they began to enter. Emil put his hand on Terry's back and guided him into the room. Walking into the house both men actually felt that the house was beautiful and could be considered inviting, but as soon as they saw Terry reaction and how he began to tremble so badly that Emil had to move him along, it made them think otherwise. The company walked towards the main area of the landing when Char stopped and turned to face Terry. She saw the scared rabbit he was and it made her walk to him and put her hands on either side of his face. "Where is your room?" she asked softly. His head and eyes moved to the up and right and Char nodded her head. She looked to Emil who nodded and walked with Terry towards the stairs. As the two made the landing loud footfalls made the devil's presence known. Vonte stomped through the house after hearing the noise at the door. He was in the study at the time going over his own work when he heard a commotion. As his feet brought him to the main foyer his eyes caught sight of Terry. "Boy where the fuck you been?!" he roared at Terry then saw the man with him, "And who the fuck is this motherfucker!" Emil heard the challenge and turned to face the man. As he did he stood at his full height and threw his shoulders back. Emil was no stranger to combat as he served five years in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He was a former Force Recon Marine and as such his training was the hardest the Marine Corps had to offer. From weapons to explosives he was well trained, but in hand to hand combat he and Meyerson had few equals. Both were not just well schooled in the martial arts, they were also instructors to their former units in the same arts. What Vonte didn't see was in the simple motions he had rolled his shoulders loosening them and set his feet to move at a moment's notice. He also positioned himself between Vonte and Terry in a typical bodyguard style. The wordless gaze he gave Vonte was all that was said between the two. Vonte took a step forward, then saw he had other guests. Char saw Vonte for the first time and she was not impressed. He was maybe five ten if that and looked to be of a moderate build. He had a tone, but not much else. His skin was as dark as hers, but she saw his face and it almost made her laugh. She made herself known to him and without warning to him, or the men with her, by stalking right up to him. Vonte saw just enough out of the corner of his eye to look at her and when he did he saw the biggest woman he had ever seen in his life stomping right up to him. While that was nothing to give him pause, the fiery look in her eyes was enough to stop him dead in his tracks. The second she got into his personal space she stood fully over him and her eyes tore into his soul. "Who the fuck are you?' he asked indignantly and showed he was not afraid. "Who the fuck are you?" Char mocked back. "This is my fucking house bitch and you don't need to be here,' Vonte said plainly as he worked himself to a fury. Char saw he was trying to work himself into a fighting mode and with that she reacted before he could. "This may be your house, but Terry isn't,' she said plainly and an evil smile came to her face. "The fuck that bitch isn't!" Vonte said and stepped forward, only to be rocked back as Char's hand found his shoulders and shoved him with more force than he thought imaginable. Char hadn't expected to react like that, but the moment he got too close she decided to let him know of whom he was fucking with. The sheer power came from her whole soul as she sent him stumbling backwards. The second he was upright she had her hands on her hips and the glaring eyes promised far worse if he should get too close again. "Bitch I oughta..." he started to say, but Char was quick to cut him off. "If anyone here is the bitch, it would be you. You bitch ass punk!" she exclaimed and Meyerson moved as silently as a ghost around to the side of Vonte. Vonte heard the taunt and he stormed right at Char, but Char didn't budge and inch. She met him halfway and the two of them slammed into each other. Their bodies crashed into each others with a loud thud, but Char was more than equal to the task. Her larger frame gave her leverage over him and as soon she met his body she brought her large hands up and found his waist. With an application of force and a twist she bent sideways and hip tossed Vonte to the floor. The loud thud shook the air and left Terry with his eyes open wide. For the first time in his life Terry saw Vonte getting pushed around and it shocked him. After nearly a year and a half of torment, torture and abuse, Terry couldn't help but shrink away. As he did Char was standing straight and her face was in a contorted snarl. The look was very scary and Terry stopped shrinking. "Look at you now bitch! On your fucking ass! Get back up! You have been beating on people smaller than you too long. Did your punk ass forget how to fight someone that could defend their selves? You fucking bitch, get the fuck up! I really do not want to do this the easy way." Char roared and threw her hands up in a taunting gesture. Vonte was on his backside looking up as she said that. He scrambled to his feet and as he did he couldn't help but notice that the man from the stairs was not where he was supposed to be. Vonte didn't stop his motion as he ran straight at Char his fist cocked back to slug. His fist shot forward and Char saw it. She was about to react when the man behind Vonte suddenly did. His fist was intercepted behind his body leaving Vonte dangerously exposed. The first sign Vonte was in danger was when his arm stayed behind him and wouldn't go forward. The second thing was when he suddenly felt a body next to him and his feet became slack. His whole world got put on its head as he went backwards over a solid body and landed firmly on his face and chest. His composure was thrown totally off by the dizzying move, but then his day took a painful turn. As he got his bearing about him a strong arm snaked across his neck and locked tight. Vonte found himself hoisted up violently and before he could regain his composure the arm hooked in deep then was joined by another arm behind his neck. Like a snake the arms constricted and the flow of precious oxygenated blood began to flow slower and slower to Vonte's brain. As soon as that happened he was slammed down on his ass and the other man dug into the choke hold by digging his head deep into the nape of Vonte's neck. Emil had the rear naked coke sunk in deep and as much as Vonte tried to move, he couldn't get away as Emil was on his knees behind him angling Vonte's head down. The flow of blood stopping made Vonte's face burn brightly as he struggled for the last few seconds before his world would go black. Char saw the move from start to finish and it made a part of her excited. She watched how Emil had gotten behind him and left Vonte unaware of his presence. Then she saw as he caught his punch and turn it into a throw and choke combination. Seeing Vonte in such a dangerous position made her do something she normally would not have done. She took the opportunity to get right in his face making sure she was the last thing he saw before he blacked out. "Well now, lookie what we got here! A punk ass bitch that's about to find out what it's like to be a victim. Isn't this fun?" Char purred into Vonte's face. Vonte's hand came up in an effort to find release from the hold, but it lost its power as his brain sent the signal to shut down. Char gave him a contemptuous look, and as Vonte's face drooped as he passed out Char let out an evil chuckle. She got to her feet and as she did her eyes fell upon the other part of Terry's misfortune. Bernice was in her room taking a nap when she was woken by the loud voices. The loud thud she heard made her eyes open wide and toss on a robe. As she rushed out she saw Jenny running past her to her room and slamming the door. That alone put her on edge, when she got to the foyer her eyes got huge. Emil tossed Vonte's limp body to the floor with a definite amount of contempt. Once Vonte's body was his stomach his arms were roughly tossed behind his back and a loud zip was heard as Emil zip tied his hands together. He was drug along the floor to the bannister and tied to that. Once he was secure Emil stood up and saw the woman at the top of the stairs. He looked back to Char and the scowl on her face was one that made him back up. Char saw the woman and knew at once who it was. The glare on her face was magnified as she suddenly began to walk up the landing to the stairs and one by one she climbed them. The loud clacking of her boots as she took each step was like a sonic boom that rent the air and put Bernice in a bad place. As Char got to Terry she took his hand and softly tugged at it making him walk with her. The slow, steady gait up the stair made Bernice back up until the wall was firmly at her back. Bernice was stunned as the huge woman walked up the last ten steps and as she did Bernice felt very small. The color in her face seemed to melt away as the woman crested the rise and stalked right up to her. "I'll call the cops if you don't...' Bernice started to say, but was cut off as a large hand connected with the side of her face and sent her to the floor. The echoing slap tore through the air and was adjoined with a yelp and thud as Bernice hit the floor. Char towered over her and glared down at the bitch on the floor. Looking back Char saw Terry's eyes were huge at what just happened and Char squeezed his hand to make him look at her. Char used her free hand to stroke his cheek and as she did the warmth she radiated came through to calm him down. "Go to your room and get your things,' she said softly, but firmly. Terry nodded his head and quickly walked off to his room. Emil came up behind her and followed Terry to his room. As he passed her, he patted Char making her look to him. "Don't get crazy,' he warned. Char nodded her head and turned back to the bitch on the floor. Char looked at her for a long time before she was sure that the bitch was ready for what was coming her way. "I can understand that you are a money grubbing, low down, skank, whore, piece of shit, slut that deserves to be on the corner of 125th street giving blow jobs for five dollars a whack, but who gave you the fucking right to lay your filthy, fucking rat claws on Terry like that? What gave you the right to treat your son like he was a bitch you were pimping out for money?" Char asked and wasn't hiding the venom in her voice. Bernice was shaking uncontrollably as she looked up to the large woman and was too terrified to speak. The sheer malevolence that the woman seemed to radiate off of her and that was stealing the very will to speak from her. "I fucking asked you a question bitch! Now speak the fuck up!" Char roared and snatched her up by the robe. A loud thud split the air as Char slammed her viciously into the wall. Bernice was hanging nearly seven inches off the floor and was now eye to eye with the substance of her worst nightmares as Char's rage-fire filled eyes bore into hers melting any thoughts she may had about anything. The whimpering Bernice was doing was getting on Char's nerves and when Bernice flinched, she tore into her savagely. "That's your own fucking flesh and blood and you do that to him?!" Char screamed into her face making Bernice whimper louder. "And you whimper like a whipped dog! You know what fuck you! You aren't worth a damn bit of my fucking time!' Char said dismissively as she threw her to the floor like a sack of trash. Bernice slid along the floor as she hit and scrambled to her hands and knees trying to get away from the furious woman. Char saw her trying to run and would have none of it. Like a snake she shot forward and her boot connected with Bernice's exposed ass and as it did she yelped and was thrown on her face. As she hit a hand grabbed her arm and flipped her over to her back and a large foot was on her chest pinning her to the floor. "Did I say I was done with you yet you worthless piece of shit that calls herself a mother?!" Char growled making Bernice frantically shake her head no. "See, now you learn your fucking place! Under my fucking heel!" Char taunted and used the point of her boot to make Bernice look up. "From this moment on Terry is no longer in your life. If I see you or that brain dead chump you call a husband come near him I will come back here and next time I will not be so nice!" Char growled and Bernice couldn't move her head as Char stepped fully down on her neck. "Let this remind you how fucking pathetic you are without that piece of shit husband to protect you from me. And don't think that broke ass mark will save you from me,' Char said firmly. Char removed her foot from Bernice's neck and turned her back to her as Bernice sputtered and gasped. She walked down the hall to where Emil was standing and pointed back to Bernice who was still on the floor sobbing pathetically. Emil nodded his head and walked down the hall and stood over the sobbing woman and shoved her against the wall. Once she was secure Char knocked softly on the door. It was open and inside she saw Terry standing in the middle of the room with his head down. Char walked into the room and looked around. Of all the rooms his was the smallest. His simple bed and dresser was all that adorned the room. No posters and no trinkets of his life were anywhere. He had one suitcase and it was filled with his clothes and work uniforms. Char saw Terry's shoulders were shaking and walked up to him. She wrapped her long arms around his body and pulled him into her. Terry's back was against her chest and as he felt her there Terry seemed to melt into Char. Char held him for a few minutes then decided that he was in the hell hole long enough. She pushed him forward and leaned down to his ear. "Almost done sweetie?' she asked softly. Terry nodded his head and pointed to his closet. "Then let's get this done,' Char said cheerfully and went to the closet to help him finish. Between the two of them they had the room emptied of what he wanted and put it in the suitcase. Char walked to the end of the closet and looked up at the top of the shelf and saw a box. She took it down and saw on top was a picture of a man and a little boy. She could tell it was Terry when he was younger as he had the same mop of hair and cute smile. She looked at the man next to him and saw a smaller man, but one who carried himself very well. The picture was taken at what looked like the old Shea Stadium. She sighed and put the box under her arm and walked out. When Terry saw the box he looked up to Char and she smiled as she handed the box to him and picked up his suitcase. She motioned for Terry to go on ahead and as he did Char took one last look around the room. The simple room seemed to echo with the pangs of torment and misery. She saw the door and how it looked out of place from the rest of the house and didn't want to ask. She ran her hand over the wall and the cold feeling told her everything she needed to know. Char walked out of the room and closed the door behind her. As the clunk sounded it seemed like Terry was walking with his shoulders up a bit. She smiled at that and walked down the hallway to see his sister standing at the end of the hall and she decided to let one more person know of her displeasure. Terry told her of how Jenny would purposely get him into trouble and sic the asshole on him and she got a smirk on her face. Char walked up to Emil and handed him the suitcase. Down below she saw Meyerson standing at the foot of the foyer with something in his hand. She couldn't see what it was, but it was a steady red light on the top of a black box of some sort. Emil guided Terry down the stairs and as he did Char stalked by the simpering Bernice and was now approaching Jenny who looked at her door and decided to get into the safety of her room. Char watched the little rabbit run and before Jenny made it to the room she was there and pulled the door shut before Jenny could get in. "Going somewhere?" Char growled and snatched Jenny by the hair and yanked her back into the hallway. Jenny screamed in pain as she was led back into the hall and tossed next to her mother on the floor. Char stood over her and when Jenny looked up Char was there and her snarling face was close. "So you think you're funny don't you?" Char asked simply. "I didn't do anything to that loser..." she whined and the back of Char's hand rapped off her head making her cry out. "Oh please, I barely touched you. You sniveling little bitch! You had no problems listening to Terry cry and beg for help. Where is that bravado now?' Char laughed at her. Her Love Ch. 03 Jenny looked up tears streaming and tried to blubber her way out, but Char would have none of it. This time the back of Char's hand found her cheek and the big hand that hadn't hit her snatched her up by the hair so she was standing. Char left her hanging there for a long minute before she put her face an inch from Jenny's and continued. "I have five brothers and sisters. I raised them all and not once did I do to them what you did to your brother. How long did you make him suffer? How much joy did you get from watching him suffer? Did you get off on it, you sick twist?" Char asked. Jenny tried not to answer, but again Char slapped her on the top of the head. "Answer me," she said quietly. "But I..." Jenny blubbered. Char laughed at her and shook her head. "Just what I thought. A spoiled little rich bitch that thinks mommy and her daddy can save her from the big bad world. Well you know what princess...' Char started and Jenny dropped her head. Char tilted her head at the rudeness and grabbed her by the lower jaw and roughly forced her to look up. "Don't ever ignore me when I speak you tramp!' Char barked and Jenny's eyes widened and she bobbed her head as much as Char's firm grip would allow. "Don't you ever come near him again, are we clear? And call the fucking cops on me. I welcome it,' Char purred evilly. Jenny was breathing shaking breaths and Char cast her to the floor with her mother and stood over the both of them. The contempt she had in her eyes was all that needed to be said. Without a word Char descended the stairs and as she did looked so regal it made Meyerson and Emil look up at her in awe. Terry saw the way she seemed to glide down the stairs and his breath caught in his chest. Once Char was down she saw the limp form of Vonte start to move. Seeing a chance to make her point clear she reached down and snatched his groggy head up. Wakey, wakey, you piece of shit,' Char taunted and slammed the back of his head into the bannister. Vonte groaned as his head hit the wood and his eyes cracked open to see her snarling face in his. "So I made it clear to your cunt and that brat about their places in this life, now you get the same,' Char hissed into his face and Vonte's eyes were full of terror as he couldn't move. "It looks like someone gets to find out a taste of what Terry went through at your hands, karma's a bitch, is it not?" Char laughed and slapped his face playfully several times mockingly making him try and shake his head to make her stop touching him. Char laughed and slapped him several times across the face and head making him shake his head to make her stop. Seeing he was not feeling the playful mood she was in Char grabbed his jaw and forced him to look up. "Stay away from him. I see you near Terry, or if I see a fucking carrier pigeon with a note tied to its leg from you to him, then me and the boys here will pay you a visit. And the only reason they will be here is to save your ass from me," Char growled into his face. Once she was done she tossed his head to the side and snapped her fingers. Meyerson undid the zip tie and Vonte fell to the floor. Once he was down Vonte tried to stand up, but Char was there. She waited for him to stand and was standing impassively in front of him. Vonte's nostrils flared as he got up and looked like he was about to do something, but Char cut him off. For a long time Char had done kick boxing as a work out. As Vonte wound up for a punch she struck. Her long leg lashed out as she spun and brought the edge of her heel up and put it along the side of his jaw. The crushing impact launched Vonte into the wall where his face slammed into it and he slid down leaving a long line of blood trailing his head. Char stood with her leg up for a second then set it down and looked up at the scared faces of Bernice and Jenny. Once they saw their bully down both women scampered away to their rooms. Char laughed evilly and turned to Terry. She walked up to him and put her hand on his back and led him from the house. Emil and Meyerson had grins on their faces as they walked out with her. The men started to chuckle as they relayed the kick to each other and when they got to the car Terry saw a familiar face walking up to them. It was the cop that asked Terry if he was all right the day he met Char. "Everything all right here folks?" he asked. Meyerson walked up to the officer and extended his hand to him. The cop didn't shake it right way but as Meyerson spoke the cop seemed to relax. "Just helping my buddy move out of his old house to his new girlfriend's house, officer,' he explained. The cop looked to Char and Terry and his eyes got wide. The sight of the large woman standing right behind the little man holding a box of mementos in his arms was one that made him smile. Upon seeing that the cop took Meyerson's hand and shook it. "No problem then, have a nice day folks,' he said and walked off to continue his beat. Emil loaded the suitcase into the back of the SUV and together the company got into it and pulled away. Once they turned the corner Terry looked back one last time and a piece of his life was now finally behind him. Char dropped the men off where she met them, but as they left Meyerson had one last thing for her. He reached into his pocket and produced a large drive stick. "In case the bitch tries anything, I down loaded all the financial information of his account and how she pilfered it. I think that this in the right judge's hands will likely put her in prison for the foreseeable future,' Meyerson said grinning. Char's eyes got wide at the evidence the man handed her. She was definitely going to look at it and soon. As Emil got out of the back seat he helped Terry get back into the front of the SUV with her. "Well now, that was fun guys. Let us know if he tries anything else, it'll be fun to watch you kick his ass again," Emil said laughing as did Meyerson. The grin on Char's face was one of satisfaction as well. Terry sat quiet and remembered how she kicked Vonte and knocked him cold. The short exhale from his lungs brought Char back to the here and now and she put the SUV in drive. The two men backed up and as they did the SUV pulled away and went down the road. The drive back was a quiet affair, but inside Char was on fire. She felt so damn good about what she did to that cunt and her asshole. The anger that she still had for them was there, but it felt good to let a bit of it out. And the fact she knocked Vonte into next week made a bigger smile come to her face. They pulled into the entrance of the parking garage and as they found her spot Char let out a sigh. She got out of the car and went to the suitcase. The heavy bag was luckily on wheels and she pulled it along with the quiet mouse that Terry had turned back into. The ding of the elevator along with the buzz of the card key made Terry relax a lot as they set his suitcase in the corner of the room and the box on the table in front of the sofa. Char went to her fridge and decided to have a good night. She pulled out a bottle of wine and poured a glass. She looked to Terry and decided tonight he could celebrate as well. She poured him a glass and walked over to him. She set the glass down in front of him and set her glass and the bottle down. Char collapsed on her sofa and picked up her glass. A healthy gulp of the sweet wine passed her palate and Char savored the taste. Terry looked at the cup and didn't know what to think, but then Char's simple words filled him with the notion. "Drink it silly." Terry picked up the glass and sipped it and set it back down. The wine tasted good, but he wasn't used to drinking. He sat quietly as Char gulped down her glass and looked at the TV. She got up and stretched out fully making her fingers brush the ceiling. She looked up and giggled at that and once she felt better she poured another glass of wine and turned on the TV. The monotony of the drivel was on and for about ten minutes Char surfed in hopes of finding anything useful. The movies were crappy and the sports channels were filled with garbage about teams she could care less about. As she flipped she sipped her wine and suddenly she was on the music channels. She flipped through the hip hop without stopping as she couldn't stand most of it. She wasn't even feeling the R&B channel either. The thrash metal made her roll her eyes as she wondered how anyone could understand it. As she clicked three more she came across a song that was starting up that caught her ear. She looked at the information on the song and saw it was a band she had never heard of. When she heard the first lyric kick in she smiled wide as it reminded her of the feelings she bore for Terry's family. The song "Whatever" from Godsmack was suddenly found turned up and Char found her head bobbing to the interesting beat and the not so charming lyrics. Terry didn't object to the song and sipped his wine as he sat next to her. What surprised him more than anything was when she got up and began to dance her way across the room to the phone. She picked it up and bobbing her head to the hard riffs she dialed a number. Char sipped her wine as her foot tapped to the beat and when the other line answered Terry was amazed that she was ordering a pizza for them. Char stopped to ask him if he wanted anything and he shook his head no. Seeing that Char decided to order something extra and got herself some of her favorite hot wings. While a killer to her diet, she had Nathan to blame for her taste in them. Terry sipped his wine one more time and looked up to the woman that had delivered him. She was just as pretty as ever, but to him she seemed far more spectacular. The song changed to one that Char knew very well. It was one of the songs Nathan always seemed to crank up whenever it came on and it became one she began to enjoy. "Wicked Garden" by Stone Temple Pilots filled the air and Char couldn't help but feel like doing something silly. She put her hands up and actually sang the intro to the song. Her shoulders got into it as she rocked back and forth in time to the beat and Terry was transfixed by the sight. When the chorus kicked in Char actually sang it and Terry was stunned at how in tune she carried the song. As Terry was transfixed by the sight Char actually came up to him and sat down next to him and continued to get down to the song. The whole time she was swaying her upper torso she sang the song and then she shocked Terry as she snatched his hands up and made him sway with her as the bridge blasted through the TVs speakers. Terry was speechless as what to do, but when Char sang the last bit of the chorus he couldn't help but get into the song with her. Before the song climaxed with its powerful ending he was bopping his head with her. "I love that song!" Char exclaimed as she got up and filled her wine again. As Char filled her cup another jam came on and she laughed out loud. "Caught it at a good time,' she toasted and sipped her wine. "Breakdown" from Tantric filled the air and Char's hips found a rhythm as she got into the song. Terry sat transfixed on the swaying woman and he was lost. He couldn't have believed that the same woman who had humiliated his family like she had was suddenly so laid back and dancing to music he doubted she normally would like. As the song went on the bridge lyrics caught Terry's attention. He heard the lyrics speaking of finding oneself and believing in what they were capable of. The lyrics found a spot in his mind that made a wish come to him. He wished simply he could be strong like her, but in reality knew that was unlikely. As the song came to an end terry was back to being his same quiet self and Char was laughing as she sipped the last of her cup. Four cups of wine had gone down and Char felt her body warming up. She was more than ready for another, but looked back to see terry sitting with his head down. A funny look passed her features as she walked up to terry and with her middle knuckle tapped on terry's head making him almost jump from his seat. He looked up to see Char barely seven inches from his face. "No brooding,' Char said simply and snatched his hand making him get to his feet. As Terry got to his feet Char got a quirky grin and snatched up the remote and changed the channel to dance music. The beat of a club mix filled her apartment and before Terry could protest Char was in rhythm and Terry had to catch up. Terry had never danced before and it showed, but Char was not one to let him falter. She helped him with subtle moves and turns until he felt something of a comfortable footing and the simple dance he was doing made her grin. Terry was amazed that he was actually dancing! His mind was blown away that not only was he dancing, but he was dancing with a goddess of a woman. The same woman that had knocked Vonte out cold was now warmly dancing with him and before he could stop himself he found his hands on her hips and holding on as a faster paced song came on. Char felt his little hands on her and smiled. She helped him through the song and the next and before long he had the hang of it and she helped him with a few more steps. While not at pro level by any stretch, Terry could at least not trip over his own feet. The happy time lasted for another fifteen minutes until the phone rang and the pizza guy was coming up. Char shocked Terry one more time as she leaned down and gave him a simple peck on the lips and went to the door. Terry stood in the apartment and his mind swam in circles at what just happened. Not only had he danced with her, but she kissed him on the lips and patted his cheek. Terry unconsciously rubbed his cheek where her hand had been and the feeling seemed to linger. The soft skin that brushed his face left him wishing he could feel it again, but past experience told him not to press his luck. Char returned and the smell that accompanied her made Terry's stomach grumble. Char heard the grumble and stopped holding the bag and pizza box and looked right at him. "Well now, finally got an appetite huh?" she teased and Terry nodded his head. "Well come on then! Let's eat, I'm starved!" Char laughed and went to the table. As she set the bag and box down she retreated to the kitchen and got some napkins and paper plates. She handed Terry one as well as a napkin and opened the box. The sight of the large peperoni and sausage pizza made Terry's mouth water and he took a slice. He went to the table and sat down, but Char game him a sour look. "Ummm, we have a movie to watch," she laughed and Terry looked up with his mouthful. Char twirled her index finger telling him to get up and to the couch. As he walked she scooped up her box of wings and three slices then went to her spot on the couch. Terry got another slice and joined her on the couch. The movie that came on made Terry smile. "Avatar" was one he had only seen parts of, but now he was going to see all of it. Char smiled at how eager he was to see the movie and dined on her wings and pizza. The long movie came to an end and it was then Terry really felt better. The end of the movie found him with his head surprisingly on Char's leg as her hand was absently stroking his hair. How they got to that was a mystery to Terry, but he didn't stop it. It was during the scene when the main characters found their love for each other that Char had shifted her body so Terry could lay down. He had yawned and Char let him lay down. What she did next baffled him as he found his body pulled up so his head was on her thigh. Char found Terry's soft hair appealing and her hand found the mop and slowly she stroked it and his head and the motion actually seemed to make him relax very much. When the movie came to a close Char looked at the time and sighed. The next day was going to be a long one at work. Char looked down and saw Terry's eyes were hooded. She patted his neck and he twisted his head to look up at her. She motioned for him to get up and he did. "Go ahead and take a shower," Char said softly and Terry nodded his head. As Terry walked away to the shower Char unzipped her boots. She took them off and a sense of relief washed over her as they came off. She looked at the heel of the boot she used to kick Vonte and saw it wasn't scuffed. A smile passed across her lips as she set them down. With that she got up and carried her boots to her bedroom. Once there she went into her closet and selected her outfit for the next day. She settled on a simple skirt and jacket combo with flats. Walking back to the living room she picked up his suitcase and took it to the spare room. Lugging the suitcase into the room Char opened the door and set it in the corner. She walked back to the table and picked up his box of valuables and brought them into the room as well. Char set the box on the dresser and went to the bed. She made sure the sheets were clean and once done Char looked around the room at what she was offering him. A large part of her still was very confused as to why she was even doing this, but it was overruled by her being. With a sigh she plopped down on the edge of the bed and almost fell off it as her phone went off in her pocket nearly scaring the life out of her. Char jumped to her feet and fumbled for the phone. Once it was in her hand she saw it was Bob's office calling. "Hello Bob," she said into the phone only to take the phone from her ear. "What the fuck did you do!?" he almost shouted into the phone. Char heard him ranting and swearing on the other end like he was driving. All of a sudden the noise on his end went down and he was legible. "Do you realize that bitch has been all over the place after you stormed her house?" Bob asked rhetorically. "Like I care?" she spat. "You should!" Bob said then suddenly he did something that made Char look at the phone in a screwed up fashion. "Move your fucking car you dumb ass!" he roared. Char almost chuckled at him as he went on a tirade and the horn of his car blared. Finally after a few seconds he came back on. "She called her lawyers, the police, and my office demanding that you be found and shot if possible," Bob informed her. "I'm right here and she can go fuck herself," Char said coolly. "I told you to not start anything, and you go in beat Vonte's ass, thank you for that, slap her, threaten her family, and put her daughter in a near catatonic state," Bob informed her. Char smiled on the other end as she relived the moment again. "Now she is trying to get you posted as public enemy number one. I told you to go get his stuff and leave without making a scene! How did that not happen? Seriously get the fuck out of the way!" he suddenly yelled. Char couldn't help it but laugh. The way he was trying to chastise her but kept being interrupted by the mob of shitty drivers. As much as she tried to hold it in, it was too much for her and she let it out. Bob heard the laughter and suddenly realized why she was laughing so hard. Without any high ground to stand on he chuckled at his own antics. Once the laughter died away Char decided to inform him of all that had transpired. She told him about the whole thing. She explained how Vonte had acted like an ass and attacked her. She told him, much to his and her delight, of how Emil had choked him out and she put him to sleep. She also told him of Bernice being shown her place and Bob had an ear to ear grin. All she told him was of small import, but then she got to the icing on the cake. "While everyone was distracted with the show, the other guy I had come in with us went to Vonte's business computer and downloaded all the pertinent files and account statements involving Terry's trust fund. I haven't seen it yet, but if I know anything about trusts and the way it's supposed to be used, she could be looking at a lot of jail time," Char said calmly. Her Love Ch. 03 "You got the files," Bob said chuckling. "Yup, nearly filed up the three gig stick," Char said casually. Bob shook his head. He knew that what she had was technically illegal, but as it was involving Terry's trust he was sure that a loop hole or five could be found he could exploit. As to the assault, he was unsure of what he could do. "I'm not afraid of her or the scumbags that work for her as I have three witnesses that will say her actions and those of her husband perpetuated everything that happened. We could also show the abuse that Terry endured and show why I was driven temporarily insane to do what I did," Char said laughing but also with a hint of sadness and solemnness. Bob sighed on the other end. While he was ecstatic about the bitch and her asshole getting what they had coming to them, he was worried that it would affect Terry by taking away the one person that could keep him safe. As the silence between the two lasted Char decided to break it and put the matter to rest. "I can meet you tomorrow at lunch and give you the USB. I'm sure once you toss in her face all the naughty things she did with the money that she'll clam up. Hell you may even threaten her with a visit from the IRS," Char said and an evil grin passed her face. Bob let out a chuckle at that. The latter idea was one that, while very cruel, was all he could ask for dealing with Bernice. The simple logic of using the threat of an IRS audit was a great one and he knew that if he called a few of his friends in that department that he could likely get her to dismiss the assault ideas. "Meet me at the same place and we'll go over some ideas. I have a few friends that work with IRS tax attorneys who can turn up some heat on her so that may cool her head," Bob said. "Glad I could help, Bob. See you at noon tomorrow," Char said into the phone. "Indeed. Good night," Bob said and hung up. Char smiled as she put the phone away. At last she was certain that victory was near and she wanted to make sure that things would run smoothly. For ten minutes she went over a myriad of plans for keeping Terry away from the bitch, and also keeping him close to her for safe keeping. As she pondered the small things she heard the shower turn off and Terry moving around in the bathroom. Char went to the bathroom and found the robe he used before. A simple knock on the door and she heard Terry shuffling about. She heard his meek voice on the other side and she opened the door. Inside Terry was covered in his towel, but his bruises still shone on his pale skin. The bruises glared at Char and it took a lot of will power to not get back in her car and head back to his house. Instead she walked to him and opened the robe. Terry saw the gesture and was confused at first, but when Char lifted the robe in an inviting manner he got off the toilet and walked to her. "Turn around,' she said and he did. Char set the robe about him and Terry slipped his arms through the holes. Once he was in she put it around his body and tied off the ties. Terry stood still as she did and looked in the mirror. His eyes were filled with the image of her doing him the simple thing and he couldn't help but feel warm inside. Her large hands rested on his shoulders and dug in deeply eliciting a moan from him. Char heard the moan and smiled as she continued on. For a few minutes she soothed his tension and when she was done her arm found his shoulders and she pulled him along to the bedroom. Terry saw the room and it was much larger than his old room. His suitcase was on the side of the bed and his box of valuables was on the dresser across from the bed. The room had a large double twin bed and a bookshelf and TV. Terry saw the bed and it looked very inviting and he walked to it and sat down. The comfort of the bed was nearly too much for him as he sank into it and almost fell backward onto it. Char saw his look and smiled as she had used that bed a few times herself. Seeing the present as a good time as any she decided to lay out her plan to keep him safe. "So Terry we need to talk about some things,' Char began and he looked to her. "When you are at work I want to make sure you are all right so we are going to get you a new cell phone that only a few people will have the number to,' she began. Terry nodded his head and Char smiled at his acceptance. "When you are done with work I really want to make sure you are safe so if I'm at work come to my office and we'll leave together. And then comes the matter of your clothes,' Char said and had a quirky grin on her face. "My clothes?" Terry asked confused. "Yes, no more tidy whities!" Char said playfully and Terry broke out into a big smile at that. "Dear God I will burn those things after we get you some real clothes," Char said laughing and sat down next to him. Terry put his head down, but his smile was still there. Char's large arm went around him as she talked to him about the simple things to do for his sake. All she offered him was noninvasive and actually set up for his well-being. As they discussed the small things Terry suddenly had a realization. "How much do I have to pay you to live here?" he asked. Char smiled and patted his back. "I think that your health and well-being is payment enough sweetie. Save your money for more important things," she said softly. Terry looked at her and didn't have an answer for that. Seeing the look on his face Char patted his leg and stood up. She stretched out and yawned loudly. Once that was done she turned back to Terry and smiled at him. "Yup, but for now how about we get some sleep?" she asked. "OK," Terry whispered. Char did something Terry didn't anticipate. She pulled him into her and hugged him close. Terry felt the warmth of the woman all around him and wished deep down he didn't have to let go. Char felt his small hands go around her back and smiled. She truly didn't know why she was being so warm and fuzzy with a near complete stranger. But as his hands found a perch she didn't care. She made a person suffering safe, and in the end that would allow her to walk to her bedroom and sleep each night. The hug came to an end and Char tucked Terry into bed. She kissed his forehead and his eyes closed and her own eyes grew warm. She squeezed his hand and walked to the side and turned out the light. She didn't close his door all the way so she could keep a tab on him just in case. Softly she padded to her room and began to unwind from the day. The wine in her was still there, but she was barely even buzzed. Char had come to find out she had a very high tolerance of alcohol from all the business lunches and cocktail parties she had gone to. She even shocked Nathan when they went beer for beer and they almost fell over at the same time. Into her closet she delved for the next day's outfit. It was Monday after all so she decided to look good. She found her favorite black skirt and crimson blouse to match it. A nice cut suit jacket and velvet heels joined the ensemble. The clothes ended up on the hanger and the shoes sat next to her door. Char went to the shower and turned it on. As she stepped in the hot water a strong feeling washed over her. It was a weird one that felt like exhilaration and something she couldn't explain. The feeling made her feel alive, but at the same time it made something in her stomach fill with anxiety. Char ignored the feeling and washed off. The thoughts of the day washed from her mind, all except for the good ones. The sight of Vonte slamming off the wall made a huge grin spread across her face. The fear in the bitch's eyes was something that made her shiver. Then a new thought filled her mind and it also brought a huge smile to her face. That thought was when she hugged Terry and he returned it. Char couldn't explain why that thought was in her head, but the warm feeling she had made it worth it. The water turned off and Char stepped out into the steamy room. She dried off and went to the sink. Washing her face Char thought of the next day and the accounts she likely had to look over, but then her mind swam to the time she and Terry slept in her bed. Her eyes looked up at the mirror and she realized that she had just thought of that and she shook her head to clear those thoughts. "Been too long out of the game girl," she muttered to herself and picked up her towel. Char pulled her towel around her body and walked from the shower. Once she was in the cool air she shuddered and let out a shuddering exhale. She walked along the hall and as she crossed Terry's room she peeked in, he slept like a baby on his side. She felt better that he was asleep after all that had happened. For a few minutes she watched him and when she was sure he was all right she went to her room. She put lotion on and put on her shorts and shirt for bed. Char pulled the covers and got into her bed. The warm blankets made her feel a whole lot better. For a few minutes she read her Nook hoping to get through the long chapter of "Game of Thrones". She never could understand why she liked the book, but then she saw the series on TV and she was hooked. As the last sentences of the Nook passed she felt her eyes droop. She put it down and turned off the lamp. As soon as she settled in the bed it felt like her lights went out. The last thought she had were happy ones as she knew Terry was safe. As it does time began its creep in the lives of Char and Terry. At first their time was spent getting used to their new situation. For Terry it became a new type of routine. At Char's place he was safe and sound, but living with her was something he wouldn't no couldn't have dreamed of. They spent most of their time watching TV after work, a new past time for Terry. Char liked to exercise several times a week and it was in her mind to put some meat on Terry's bones. Char had him doing Pilates with her and the time spent between the two also had a side effect on Terry. While it wasn't noticeable at first, Char began to see that over the course of the next two months Terry began to open up a bit at a time. His sentences began to take a bigger shape and his words weren't mumbled as often. While she knew it was likely due to her help, she also saw that it was partly his own wish to grow from in spite of his past. Char didn't just help him grow, she began to plant new ideas in his mind that he could succeed at things and when he did she was quick to reward him with small things. From a good movie, to his favorite foods, even time spent alone with her, Char used the small things to try and help him make bigger strides. Though he made some strides, he also had a lot to overcome and didn't always succeed at things. She saw his failures with talking to people not as what they were, but new obstacles for him to overcome. She also saw that at work he was still mousy at times, but around Nathan he would open up more. She was glad that the comfort he felt with Nathan could be used to help him grow into a more confident person. Those things helped, but the thing that gave him the biggest relief was his mother was nowhere to be found. Bob used the data from the USB and had her in a very precarious position. The IRS agents he knew paid her a visit and it was that coupled with the threat of a very painful lawsuit on Terry's behalf that made her and Vonte back off. She took the hint and left well enough alone. The money she had pilfered she was allowed to keep, but there was a huge list of things she would lose in the process. The biggest thing she lost was her access to any of the money she had pilfered from Terry. That made her finances seem near impossible and Vonte's savings had to be drained to help balance their budgets. Jenny watched as the clothes she bought get returned to cut costs. The rest of their fortunes were tied to the house and that was all they had left after the proceedings. Char was so giddy when Bob told her the good news that she took Terry out for a night of fun. They laughed and had a great time at a miniature golf place, then engorged themselves on bad pizza and wings. Char didn't mind it as she had a fast metabolism and she shocked Terry by eating what she did and not gaining an ounce. As fun as the time the two spent was, they had a nice moment when Char was woken up at three in the morning by Nathan. The news that Donia was in labor got her up and she snatched Terry from his bed to go with. They spent the day in the hospital and after a long wait, Nathan came out of the delivery room with a huge smile on his face. As Char stood up he walked right up to her and hugged her tight and then hugged Terry as well. "It's a boy!" he said and laughed as Char hugged him again. After a round of well wishes by the friends and family of Donia's and his that came to see, Nathan took Char and Terry with to see the little one. The small boy was held by a nurse and Char almost melted at what she saw. His hair was black and thick and his little face was so adorable even as he cried in the nurses arms. Nathan's hand was against the glass as he gazed upon his son and Char could see the tear that slipped down his face. "What's his name Nathan?" Char asked as she put an arm around his shoulders. "Gabriel Antonio," Nathan said softly. "Why those?" Char asked. "Gabriel is my father's name and Antonio is hers," Nathan said as he watched the nurse put the bundle away. "He looks like you," a quiet voice said. Nathan and Char looked over to Terry who had his hands on the glass as he looked at the little one. The way he gazed at the small child was like someone seeing something so wondrous that it left both of them speechless. Nathan smiled at him and put a hand on Terry's back. "No, he looks like his mother. And let's be grateful for that," Nathan said and turned back to see his boy. Char smiled at the spectacle and turned to leave. As much as she was enjoying seeing the baby, she wanted to check on Donia. As she walked down the hall she couldn't help the bubbly feeling that was in her tummy at her friends' good fortunes. The smile on her face brightened as she got to Donia's room and looked in. Her friend was on her back asleep and Char decided not to bother her. "Too good to say hi," a weak voice said. Char looked up and saw that she wasn't asleep after all. Her eyes were closed, but Donia was awake. After a few seconds her eyes opened and though they were hooded, her friend could see they were happy as could be. "Seven pounds eleven ounces,' Char said as she walked to her. "I could have sworn he was more, or at least that's what he felt like in my body," Donia joked. Char let out a strained laugh and slapped a hand over her eyes. The laugh that the two shared filled the room and both lost themselves in the moment. They spent a long time chatting until Donia actually fell asleep on Char. Char actually tucked her friend in and gave her a peck on the forehead. As she left she hugged Nathan one last time and her and Terry left. That night the both of them had a quiet time in the apartment as they thought of the new happy family. The next few days were a blur for both of them as they worked and waited for the invite Char had been hoping for. The day it came she and Terry were back at Nathan and Donia's house and along with Donia and Nathan's families they all got to see Gabriel. The happiness in the air was a good thing for Terry as Char noticed he actually started a conversation with Donia. Char was all smiles at that. But she was a fawning mess about the baby. She held him to her for so long that it took Nathan tricking her to let his mom feed him. Char and Terry got to enjoy a good time and to Nathan's surprise was something he never would have imagined. As the time was wearing down he was coming down the stairs after helping Donia put the baby down and he saw Terry was sitting on the sofa leaning into Char. To make it more intriguing was her arm was draped over his shoulder pulling him closer to her body. A smile passed his lips as he saw that, but he kept his thoughts to himself. After they had gone home that night Char and Terry spent a happy night curled on the sofa. Char held him to her as they watched a movie called "Stardust". The cute and funny movie had both laughing and a few scenes actually made Char happy for her company. The movie came to a close and when it was done Char took Terry to the shower. She rubbed his neck for a few minutes before he went in and the moans and groans that came from his lips was all she needed to hear that he was enjoying himself. She rationalized that that was a present for talking to Donia so easily. The shower turned on and Char went to her closet for her next day's attire. She selected a simple pants suit and flats. She didn't want to be too formal as it was a Thursday and she knew that on Friday she had to go to a cocktail party for a client later in the day. For that she could afford to dress for success, and turn a few heads. A silly grin passed her face as she pondered how she would dress for the party and decided to put a few party outfits in the mix. She went further in and spent a good twenty minutes before she selected a winner. It was a solid black skirt with a very classy light pink top with a floral design across the arms. The heels she would wear were her favorite velvet heels and as an added touch she decided on black lace top stockings. Char set everything in its place then heard the shower turn off. A warm feeling was still in her after the baby's party so she waited for Terry to come out of the shower. He was about to go to his room when she stopped him and had him go to the living room. He waited as she showered and got into her pajamas. Then the shock came as she took him to her room and had him sleep with her that night. For Char it was a nice night because she felt like cuddling some more. For Terry it was pure heaven. Feeling her warm body draped along his was something he couldn't have imagined. Her large frame dwarfed his, but the way she spooned him was so perfect he didn't get to really savor the moment as his eyes drifted off to sleep in her embrace. Char slept so soundly that night. Her dreams were warm and made the morning feel good when her eyes cracked open. A smile was still on her lips when she felt the new position she was in. she was on her stomach and Terry was on his back with her arm over his chest. For a few minutes she watched him sleep, but then she saw the time. Char got up and prepared for the day. She dressed quietly in the front of her closet. She slid on her pants and took off her pajama top. Her large breasts were on full display as she reached down for her bra. She snapped it on in front then slid it across her body to put it on. She put the straps over her shoulders and a quick adjust put the girls in their proper places. Once they were secure she put on her shirt and went to the kitchen to get her coffee ready. Terry was on his back as Char dressed and his eyes were open to the spectacle he never would have imagined possible. Char was dressing and he got to see the spectacle. The sight of her topless nearly made him roll over to hide, but he couldn't move. His hard on sprang to life as he watched her sensuous show and he was glad she left without looking his way. As quickly as he could Terry got up and went to the bathroom to relieve himself. His plans didn't quite work out as trying to pee with a raging hard on was just not going to happen. Terry was about to panic when he heard a knock at the door. "Don't be too long in there Terry, we both have to be at work soon,' Char said through the door. "OK," he replied and went to the sink. He brushed his teeth and during that time he was relieved that the hard on went away. He was able to go and when he was done he went to his room and dressed for work. Terry actually had to pick out a pair of pants to wear as Char took him shopping soon after moving in and got him some new clothes. All his old tidy whities were gone being replaced by boxers. It was at Char's insistence that made the change in wardrobe happen. If Terry was honest with himself, he was happy to oblige her. Her Love Ch. 03 They went to work and the day was pleasant for them as he got off before her, but he decided to wait for her in her office. Char and Nathan had gotten him a pass card so he could enter her floor and when he did he went right to her office and said nothing to any of the employees. Only a few knew of why he was there, and even then they didn't know the details. The only one who seemed to have an issue with Terry coming up was Henry. The glares he would throw Terry's way were none too friendly. He got even angrier when he would catch them walking together and talking in pleasant tones. While not anything he could prove, he was suspicious. As the time at the office came to a close Char locked all her files away and looked around the office one last time. She saw Terry sitting on the chair across from her desk reading a paperback book she had gotten him. A smile passed at her lips as she saw nothing out of place and on that note she went to her desk and closed up shop. Terry put his mark in the book and closed it then went to the door to wait for her. Once her computer was closed down she nodded to Terry who exited before her. Char locked her door and as they left she put her jacket on and he held her briefcase. Char was touched by the gesture as he carried the case for her she patted his cheek and together they left talking about dinner. As they went into the elevator a very angry pair of eyes stared at the elevator as the door closed. Henry saw the little punk that got him nearly fired leaving with the woman he wanted to fuck. His anger got the best of him as he threw his stapler across the office and stormed out. Terry and Char spent a good night and day at work. Char had to leave early for her party and Nathan offered to bring Terry home. She was in a rush to get home and traffic was being difficult. For the next fifteen minutes she crawled past a minor fender bender then got to make the end run to her apartment. As soon as she entered she began to strip out of her work clothes and rushed to her bedroom. Char stripped off the last of her clothes and rushed to her bathroom. She touched up her make up then made sure her hair was just right. As she looked at it she realized she needed to see her hair dresser soon. When it just as wild and sassy as she liked she hurried to her bedroom and began to dress. She hurriedly took a shower and picked out a bra and panties set for the dinner so she propped her leg on her bed and began to roll the black stockings up her long leg. Once she got it to the top she adjusted the top so it was just right. Once she was done she repeated the process and stepped into her shoes. As Char turned about she saw her door was wide open, but that wasn't all she saw. Nathan had dropped Terry off no more than five minutes after Char had gotten in. Terry went up alone as Nathan had to get home and help with the baby. The long ride up the elevator for Terry was a happy one as he was off work and safe in his new home. He walked to the apartment and as he entered heard some strange sounds coming from the hall. Investigating the sounds he got to Char's room and his eyes bulged from their sockets as he saw Char rolling her stockings up her legs. His hard on was instant as he stood transfixed by the spectacle before him. The long, perfect legs seemed to disappear under the sheer material, but what was left was more than perfect to his eyes. The sexy lace tops of the stockings also caught his attention, but more so was her perfect ass in her red lace panties. Terry's breathing quickened as she set the long leg down and stepped into her shoes. That act alone almost made him fall to his knees, but the she did something he prayed she wouldn't; she turned his way. While they had had a few walk ins on the other, Char and Terry usually just apologized and went on their way. A few times Char even teased him for being a perv, but it was in good fun. But now, this time, was far far different than usual. Char was shocked that not only was he standing there just wide eyed in amazement, but he was mouth open and eyes fixated. Char immediately saw this as an opportunity to have a touch of fun so she went with it. "Enjoying the view?" she asked and had a quirky grin on her face. "Umm...I...I...Ummm," Terry stammered wildly. "Umm?" Char teased back crossing her arms. Terry flushed bright crimson at that. The way she playfully narrowed her eyes made it seem like she was mad, but in reality she was in a playful mood. "Are you being a perv again Terry?" Char accused him in a playful manner. "No! I..I...I..." He tried to respond, but couldn't form the words. "No?" Char echoed back and she turned her head so he could see the eyes she was giving him. The way she was slightly turning her head and narrowing her eyes was killing him inside. Her beautiful face was not but ten feet from him, but it felt so close and her eyes burned into his stomach. Terry was shaking as she went on. "So here I am getting ready to go, and now I have a perv just standing there staring," Char lamented playfully. "I'm sorry!" Terry got out in a high pitched voice. "Sorry? Why am I not pretty enough to look at?" Char retorted and put a hand on her chest feigning hurt. "No!" Terry blurted out. "No?!" Char exclaimed in a playfully hurt voice. Terry's heart sank as he heard the tone of her voice. His eyes wavered as he desperately tried to figure out how to defuse it, so he blurted out the first thing he could think of. "You're....you're..." he tried to get out. "I'm?" Char left the answer hanging. "You're the most beautiful woman ever!" Terry forced out with all he had. Char was taken aback by the response. She never would have expected to hear him say that to her, but he just did. For a second she was quiet, but then she got back into role and smiled at him. "Am I really?" she asked . "Y..y..yes," he got out. "Aww! My sweetie thinks I'm beautiful," Char swooned and walked to him. Terry was shocked when she stood before him in. his eyes were forced to look up as he craned his head to see Char's face before his. She put a hand on his face and leaned in close. She pecked him on the lips, but as she pulled away she got that same quirky smile as before. "But that still doesn't excuse you for being a perv!" she teased and Terry's eyes opened wide in shock. "But..but..." he got out. "No buts!" Char retorted quickly. She turned and walked back into her room purposely swaying her hips. Her power walk was a true walk of power as her ass got into it and Terry's eyes couldn't stop looking. She turned around suddenly and Terry was shaking as he stood in the hall in pure shock, but his hard on would not quit. "So now you've seen the view, I think it's only fair I get the same,' Char said and sat down on her bed crossing her legs. Terry's eyes couldn't bulge any wider than they were. He stood by shaking wildly as the beautiful woman just said what she said and his heart beat like a jackhammer. His wildly shaking body for some reason took the several steps into the bedroom and stepped just inside. Char saw that and smiled a wildly dangerous smile and crossed her arms. "Well?" she purred. "But I,' Terry tried to get out. "No, no! You saw my goodies, now it's my turn. Strip!" Char said and the playfulness in her tone was replaced by something else entirely. Char wasn't aware of it, but then again neither was Terry. The tension in the air began to boil over, but then Terry's mind gave way to some part of him that he didn't know existed. His hands reached up and took off his coat. Then the slow shaking hands undid his belt and his polo shirt was pulled up and off him. His pale skin was very bright as he never got any sun. Char saw that the bruises on his body had disappeared and all that was left was the soft skin. As she watched the spectacle in front of her Char felt something in her tummy that she never knew was there. As the frightened young man stripped Char felt not power, but definitely in control. Her whole world seemed to be spinning out of control as he looked at her with scared eyes with his pants still on. "I said strip Terry, now have at it," she said in the same tone and Terry's body shook even more. For some reason he couldn't explain Terry's hands found the waist of his pants and with one simple push they fell down to his ankles. Once there he stepped out of them and stood before Char in only his boxers and socks. The boxers were the same blue silk ones she had gotten for him when he moved in. Char's eyes got wild as she saw him in his undies and then her hand raised and her index finger twirled around indicating what she wanted next. Terry slowly turned about and as he did Char let out a wolf whistle. "Oh baby! Look at that ass!" she teased. Terry's whole body flared a bright crimson as he heard that remark. Char was reveling in the show and for some reason she didn't feel like she was being too mean with him. He hadn't run away and that shocked her to no end. As he came back to the front she could see the look in his eyes, but more so she saw a huge tent in his boxers. That was what shocked her far more than anything. "So, now you know how it feels don't you perv," Char teased. "I'm...I'm..so...so..sorry," Terry said sheepishly. Char narrowed her eyes and turned her head so it looked like she was thinking about it, but then she shook her head. "I dunno. I think you may not realize how naughty you've been peeking at me Terry," she teased. Her voice was a cross between the matronly teacher, and her own fun voice. Terry was petrified as she sat there still looking at him like that. "Maybe what you need to get you over this peeking thing is to be taught a lesson. What do you think, Terry?" she asked and he shook even wilder. "Well I see you are shaking so you know you've been naughty haven't you?" Char questioned in that same tone. "No! No, please I'm sorry!" Terry whined. "Your mouth says you are, but I don't think you really are now are you?' Char asked with a huge smile on her face. "No I..." he tried to respond, but Char had him. "You see! You said no," Char said and stood up suddenly. Terry was breathing so fast he was about to hyperventilate. Char saw it and sat back down. She curled her index finger at him and for some reason Terry walked over to her and had his hands over his crotch desperate to hide his hard on. "Now the way I see it Terry, you need to be taught not to peep at people in their undies, don't you?" Char asked in a very domineering matron voice. "Yes,' he whispered unsure of what to do. "That's what I thought. Now come here you bad boy, time for your punishment," she said in that same tone. With that Char grabbed his arm and put him across her leg. Terry felt the silky soft stocking beneath him and it felt so damn good. His eyes closed as he felt her shift her thighs and the feeling washed over him like an avalanche. Her perfect legs were touching his bare skin and her arm was over his back holding him down. Terry shook softly as she rubbed her hand along his back and down to his rear. "So I see you like this, don't you?" she purred. Terry let out a shaking gasp and Char purred in her throat as it was all she needed to hear. "Such a naughty, naughty boy," she said in a dangerous tone as her hand rubbed his ass. Terry groaned loudly as she did. Upon hearing that Char swatted his ass his a flick of her wrist. Her large hand encompassing nearly the entire cheek. The impact of the swat made him flinch. While the motion was not unexpected for Char, the fact his raging hard on rubbed along her leg was. She felt that and her eyes narrowed. "So we have a naughty, naughty boy with a dirty hard on don't we?" she teased and slapped his ass again. The slap made Terry gasp in pure bliss as his hard on drug along her silky thigh. His mind seemed to shut down as again her hand slapped his ass and again the nylons teased his raging member. Char felt that and for some reason her mind went to a place that was purely uncharted territory. A blazing warmth began to form in her tummy as her hand slapped his ass again and again and again. Each and every slap made his now leaking hard on drag across her thick thighs. The stockings adding to the sensation as she rubbed his ass where she slapped. "I think my dirty boy likes this doesn't he?" she teased and punctuated the last word with a slap. Terry let out a tortured groan as his dick escaped the prison of his boxers and drug freely across the stocking. Char felt it and again she slapped his ass making him cry out. She felt his dick and was shocked that it wasn't as tiny as the rest of him. What's more he was leaking very badly and she felt it burning along her thigh. "Naughty , naughty , boy!" Char growled. Those spanks sent a jolt of fire into Terry's loins. The way she spoke to him was far worse as she continued to spank him and his hard on drug dangerously along her thigh. The way she rubbed his ass after each spank made his heart beat so wildly he thought it would burst. His whole being was torn away as the smacks rained down on his butt. Each one sent a jolt of fire along his sensitive flesh. Each rub made his torture that much more severe. Each word she spoke lit a fire in his being that Terry couldn't control. The large hand spanked Terry one last time and that was all he could handle. With a tortured cry that shook the air Terry's dick exploded. Rope after rope of hot cum spurted out wildly from his hyper sensitive tip. The scalding hot spunk splatted against Char's other thigh saturating her stocking. Char felt the ropes hit her leg and her eyes got huge! What she thought was only a game suddenly got wildly out of hand. She felt each rope of his burning hot cum hit her thigh and something in her body made her feel a hot burning in her own nether region. Char realized that her pussy was on fire, what the fuck has happening between them. Terry's last spasm finally subsided and he was left shaking against her leg and Char was left wide eyed with her hand squeezing his ass. She didn't realize it, but with each spurt she had squeezed his ass firmly. As it finally came to a close she felt the hot liquid dripping down her leg and onto her foot. The wildness of the moment passed and before she could say a word she heard Terry suddenly sob. Her hand let go of him and he got off her leg and rushed from her room in tears. It took Char a moment to recover, but when she did she caught the glimpse of Terry rushing from her room. Her hand reached to stop him, but it was too late. Her hand stayed up for a long minute, then it dropped to her side. "What did I do?" she asked under her breath, then she felt something that made her look down. Her whole left thigh was dripping with his seed. The white spunk stood out on her black stocking, but then she felt it drip down her leg. She looked down and saw it was traveling down her leg to her foot and that was all she could take. She stood up and took off her shoes, then with care she took off her stocking. As it came off her leg she saw she still had a lot of his juice on her leg and she sighed as she went to her bathroom. With a towel she dabbed it off her leg, but then she did something that was totally an accident. As she dabbed she brushed along her slit and the simple brush nearly floored her. Char's embarrassment for Terry caused her to forget that her pussy was hot and dripping. The little dab of the towel hit her clit and the shock of it made her shudder. Char let out a series of shaking breaths hoping to get it under control, but then a cool breeze blew under her and that made her back stiffen. Her teeth sank into her bottom lip as her arousal flared up. Her hands gripped the counter of the sink like a life preserver in a storm and she held on as the shaking overtook her. For a long time Char stood there shaking, but then it slowly abated. While not sated, she was well enough to walk. With a sigh Char took off her other stocking and walked back to her room. Every step was torture for her as she quickly dressed. Stepping into new shoes Char walked out of her room and saw Terry's clothes on the floor. She knelt down and picked up his clothing and slowly walked to his room. At his door Char saw Terry was lying on his bed on his side with his knees in his chest. His body was shaking and when he felt her presence he tensed up. "Terry," Char whispered. The simple sound of his name made Terry shake even harder. Char saw that and she looked down at the floor. She really had nothing to say that would help. What had happened, had happened and she only hoped that she hadn't scared him for life. Her eyes began to waver as she pondered what she had just done and as she thought her head picked up. "I'm so sorry Terry," Char said softly. Terry heard the words and curled tighter into a ball. He desperately wanted to say something, anything to her, but his words were so lost in his raging thoughts. As his mind swam with fear of the unknown Char walked to the edge of his bed. "Terry?" she asked hoping he would look at her. They stayed like that for a long time. Neither had a clue what to say to the other, so they didn't try. After a few minutes Char looked at her watch and saw she needed to go. Though she didn't want to, she knew that to not show up at the party would likely miff the client. "When I come back, we'll talk if you want sweetie," she whispered and patted his arm. Terry felt her soft skin along his and didn't cringe. He reveled in her touch and wished he could just talk to her, but his lips were sealed from fear. Char saw that he didn't cringe and decided to be more proactive. She leaned over and kissed his cheek softly. The way her lips brushed his skin made him calm down a lot, but he still was too scared to talk. Slowly Char left and hoped he would still be there, or even just in her home when she got back. Char left her apartment and her mind was lost. The party was there and she did her part, but the whole time she was very distracted. The image of Terry over her knee being spanked and the noises he made with each spank filled her mind. The cry he let out as he inundated her leg made her shiver more than once. The whole time she was at the party Char had a major problem. She was very aroused, but no one here was suitable to help her relieve it. The party was a long party for her, but for Terry the time Char was gone was sheer torture. His body stayed in the fetal position for a long time after she left. For nearly an hour he was stuck like that until he felt nature kick him hard. His taut muscles released their death hold and he was able to get to the bathroom. Once he finished he looked in the mirror and felt really embarrassed. Not that he had just done what they did, but that he didn't talk to her when she tried to reach out to him. Terry put his head down and stood there for a long time before a simple idea came to his mind. He went to his bedroom and put on some clothes then he went to Char's room. Inside he found her heels and saw the stain on them. Using a cloth and water he dabbed the material to get the offensive stain out. As he dabbed at the shoe he couldn't help but remember how it was put there. The moment he thought of her spanking him like that his hard on came back. In truth she didn't really hurt him, in fact the feeling he got was the furthest thing to pain. Somehow he felt that even though she was doing that, she was making sure that he wouldn't be harmed. That thought made him look down at the floor and sigh. He truly hoped he didn't freak her out, but a part of him was certain he had. Once the shoe was done he set it down and looked at the other one. It was fine so he set them back in the closet where it looked like they would go. Her Love Ch. 03 After the shoe was put away he went to her bathroom and saw her stockings. On the one he saw the mess he made and it was large. Gingerly he picked up the stocking and as his hands touched the silky material he was instantly taken back to when he felt his member rubbing along it and it made him shudder. The feeling stayed with him as his hand washed the stocking to get his mess off it. He was no stranger to this as his mother made him do it many times, and most times it was after her and Vonte had sex. This time he wasn't offended by the task, as it was his mess, not Vonte's. Terry got the mess cleaned up and hung it up on her towel rack. He didn't know when Char would be back so he set about the apartment and straightened up the small things. He was happy to do the menial tasks as she took care of most everything else. A part of him realized it was the least he could do for all her kindness. Char felt the time slip by and was grateful when she saw the client leave. She made small talk for a few more minutes, then she bee lined out of the party. In her mind she fumed as more than one drunken horny man tried to make a play at her. Even though she normally would tease them and leave them hanging most nights, tonight was way too out of her comfort zone to go through with it. As she didn't drink that night, she made her way home with a sure head. The drive home suddenly spawned a whole plethora of thoughts in her mind. What had she just done? Why she didn't stop? Why did she feel so weird after? And what would she do now? Those and a great many more questions and thoughts swam through her mind and one by one she tried to rationalize them. She knew that she did care about Terry, but did she "Care" about him? The thought, while pleasant, still made her worry about so many things. A part of her screamed at her to just throw him out and get him somewhere that he would be safer, but as soon as the notion came to her mind it was banished. The rest of the twenty five minutes of her drive were just blank as she tried to stop the thoughts in her mind, but she knew the moment she got to her home they would surface. The sight of the boyishly cute Terry would send her mind spinning. The whimpers and gasps of pleasure that filled the room came to her mind and as they did the same burning in her tummy came back to her. Char felt her mind go in a million places all at once, then she realized she was home. For twenty minutes she sat in her car and pondered what she would say to him. Of all the things she wanted to say, she was sorry things went out of hand, was first in her mind. Getting out of her car Char made her way up the elevator and down the hall to her door. The key swiped through and her door opened and inside she was greeted to a sight she wouldn't have expected. The apartment was vacuumed and the table was set with a bag of take-out sitting on the table. Her eyes got wide as she looked around and saw Terry walking up to her with his head down. "Can I get your coat?" Terry asked quietly. Char nodded and took off her coat and handed it to him. He took the coat and went to the closet where he hung it up and shut the door. He looked back to her and his eyes couldn't meet her gaze. Char saw it and felt horrible. She knew that he was likely never going to be able to see his smiling face again and that killed her inside. As she was about to sigh Terry walked up to her shaking as he did, extended his hand to her. Char saw the small hand and took it. Terry led her to the table and pulled her seat and Char sat down. He went to the bags and took out her favorite and it made her smile at him. "You remembered," she said in a half pained half happy tone. "Yes," he said softly and took the lid off the food for her. Terry set the meal down before her and then got his. He set the plate down where he was going to sit then turned to the kitchen and got out her juice. He poured two cups and returned setting their cups down. Once they were set he sat down and picked his head up to look at her face. "Terry, I am so sorry about earlier. I got out of line and I know I hurt you," she said softly, but was stunned when he shook his head. "You...didn't hurt me," he got out in a strained voice. "I didn't?" she asked confused. "No," he whispered in a strange tone. Terry looked down at the table and he shook softly as he tried to gather the courage he had to tell her the truth. Char saw that and put her hand on his and squeezed it softly making him look to her. "You didn't hurt me," Terry said firmly and his eyes were so terrified that it made Char start to tear up. "I liked it," he said softly. Her Love Ch. 04 Howdy kids! So I'm sure another "Sorry i been out" speech isn't what you want to read, so here it is. Enjoy and be ready, i got another one on the way! Read it, love it, and tell a friend about it! Enjoy the show kids! The simple words that spilled from Terry's mouth had their effect. The words were not special, nor were they powerful, but the effect they had was more far reaching than either could imagine them to be. Char's only reaction to them was to stand up and hug him to her. The hug was a nice feeling for Terry. He welcomed being engulfed in her sensuous body. The hug lasted for a long time while neither spoke a word. Neither could. The words had a far reaching effect on both as they stayed like that for a long time, then the moment broke and the two ate in a companionable silence. The two of them sat in silence for the rest of the night and went to bed in their respective bedrooms. Neither Terry nor Char slept that night, or the next few. Their dreams were filled with many images and fears. For Terry, it was the fear that he had made her mad at him by what he did. A great tightness in his stomach was constantly there as he lay in the bed and some tears came to his eyes as he let his fears swim around him like sharks sensing blood. Char's own fears were just as complex. A strong part of her was confused to no end as what to do next. Another part of her screamed at her to move him out and somewhere else. That part had been screaming at her since the moment she spanked him. That feeling of needing to pass him off to someone else went through her mind, but it was countered by another feeling. That feeling was one she couldn't explain. It was a feeling of extreme want and need to keep him with her and explore further on what her actions and his confession meant and what the two of them could mean to each other. All those thoughts, plus a great many more filtered through her mind as the days passed. While they settled back into their routine, there was a heavy tension that hung between them as the days began to turn into weeks. Char and Terry went to work, came home, worked out, ate, slept, watched movies, and all the things they did before the event. But as they did both held a simple truth between them: It happened. Char slowly began to filter through her sanity as the thoughts and the unpleasant war between her feelings was waged in her soul. Her work didn't really suffer, but it wasn't what it once had been. Her strong persona was slowly slipping and uncertainty began to show in her eyes every now and then. A huge shift in her behavior began to show as she didn't snap at her people anymore and to the majority of the crew it was a blessing. To one, it was a slap to his pride. Char kept things under control, but she noticed that everyday Henry was always glaring at her when he thought she wasn't looking. She accredited it to his being chewed out and the fact she did nothing positive for him, but in reality it was far worse than that. What she didn't know was that every day he saw Terry walk into her office and the thought of that little punk was touching what he coveted was galling him to no end. Terry and Char had no idea of what to do with their new situation and it started to show at home. Terry no longer leaned on her and Char felt the distance growing day by day. She hated for him to think she wanted him gone, but her own confusion prevented anything from happening. The misery that Terry was, in feeling that he alienated her, was slowly making his smile come less and less. She noted that he would mope at times and that was the last straw for her. While she sat at work Char replayed the lunch she just had with Terry over and over. He seemed to draw further and further away from her as they tried to talk about things any and everything except the event, as she had begun to refer to it in her mind. She noted how silent and mousey he was and it killed her. So much gain he had made and now this ogre in the room was killing all the hard fought progress they made. Char threw her pen to her desk and sat back. Her eyes blinked several times and she realized she needed to do something, or he would likely slip away back to his old self. She picked up her phone, but no ideas came to mind. She tossed it down and looked at her office. Nothing presented itself, so she growled in an annoyed fashion. In a rush she got to her feet and snatched up her coat. Char stalked from her office and her anger was apparent to all. They quickly got back to work and even Henry gave her a wide berth. She went straight to the elevator and down to the lobby. She didn't know why, but she strode right up to Nathan's office. As she got to his office she saw the door open and at his desk Nathan sat on his cell. He was wearing a very sharp blue and white striped shirt with a blue and black tie. The cuffs and collar of the shirt were white to contrast the darker blue. His suspenders held something she didn't know he was allowed to have as a shoulder holster with a pistol was in place. He was armed and that was a scary notion. She knew he was allowed to carry in extreme cases, but seeing him actually armed caught her off guard. The other thing that caught her off guard was the conversation he was having. "Of course. As a matter of fact she is here," he said and waived at Char to sit down. "I'll ask her, no problem," he said and put his hand over the mouth piece of the phone and looked dead at Char, "You're coming to dinner with us Thursday." he said plainly. Char was blank eyed and nodded her head and he went back to the phone, "Yeah she's coming. No problem baby. I love you too. Yeah, no problem I'll pick some up. Si mi amor," Nathan said chuckling and looked to Char. "Si mama. Si. Bye," he said and hung up the phone. Nathan chuckled a bit and looked up to her confused face. "She's making her famous chicken and red chili enchiladas and wants you to come," Nathan explained. Char's mouth watered at the thought of those damned enchiladas, damn if she didn't love them. The last time Donia made her chicken enchiladas she made a pig of herself and ate four of them. The way Donia slow cooked the chicken and added black beans, corn, chilies and tomatoes was superb. Then she would fold them into corn tortillas with a mole sauce then bake them with crème fresca caused more drool to form in her mouth. "And of course you have to bring Terry, Donia wishes to enjoy being not the shortest in the room anymore," he said chuckling. Hearing that Char looked down and sighed suddenly. Nathan saw that and tilted his head curiously. "Something amiss?" he asked. A bare nod of the head was his only answer. "Care to explain?" he mused. Char's mouth opened and closed several times. She tried to form her sentences, but couldn't. Nathan saw this and sat back in his char. He knew that she was likely stuck in her thoughts so he did the smart thing and got from his chair and went to the door. He closed the door and went over to Char and sat down in the chair next to her. His hand found her shoulder and when it did she flinched from it. That caught him by surprise and he let her go. The eyes that met him were ones that seemed to be haunted and she quietly recounted her problem. Nathan's eyes went wide as he listened to her story and nodded his head several times as he listened. From the spanking to the after effects Nathan's jaw slackened and his mouth opened. Several times his hand came up to point, but went back down. He blinked his eyes many times at the tale and when she was done Nathan sat back in his chair and brought his hands together. His fingers interlaced and his index fingers were out holding his chin up as he tried to wrap his mind around things. After a long silence Char looked to him and finished the tale. "He told me he liked what I did to him,' she whispered. Nathan sucked in a breath and exhaled it for a long time. When it was out Nathan blinked a few more times and Char felt very uncomfortable suddenly. Nathan saw it and put his hand up suddenly. "So you and Terry... are what?" he asked. "I don't know Nathan! I just don't know," Char said and her voice sounded like she was about to crack. Nathan nodded his head. "So you're confused, and so am I", he said and couldn't help the laugh that escaped his lips. Char heard the laugh and at first felt angry, but she couldn't help but notice that it wasn't a mean laugh, more of a confused chuckle. "So wow. I mean, wow!" Nathan said chuckling softly. "Nathan...what am I going to do?" she asked and sounded desperate. "I have no fucking idea," he replied. Char was angry at the response, but she understood that he was not likely going to be of much help. She was about to get up when Nathan shook his head and grabbed her hand. "I'm not done with you yet," he teased and that actually made Char smile. "Look, I know you're likely...umm...yeah...confused by the recent events. Hell, I'm at a loss myself, but for two reasons. The first, and the easiest one for me, is why the hell did you tell me this? I can't have sex for a long time as Donia is still recovering from giving birth to our child!" he exclaimed laughing and Char laughed with him. Char actually felt a lot of tension slip away with the laugh. It ended after a few long minutes and at the end of it both felt a lot better. Nathan got his bearing back and went forth. "The other thing is, and I guess this is the real question: how do you feel about it?" he asked point blank. Char was rocked by the simple question and was about to answer when Nathan cut her off. "Don't tell me what you think you want me to hear, but what do you really feel? How does it really make you feel for things? How does the truth of what you two did and what it means now make you feel?" Nathan asked all the questions were simple, but the answers would be real and hold real implications. For the first time in many years Char was not confident in herself or what she was thinking. All her life Charmel was a rock that was a foundation for her family to stand upon. She was a titan of her craft. Her assertive personality was something that always made her stand out and run with life and its many challenges. But now, now she was totally lost. Nathan saw the look in her eyes and nodded his head. He understood exactly what was wrong with her. She didn't know what to do next. His mind came up with the answer right away and he stood up from his chair. Sure strides took him to his desk and his phone. He pulled up a number and wrote it down from Char. Once it was there he walked back to her and handed her the memo. Once the note was in her hand Nathan spoke in calm tones, "Give this lady a call. She is a therapist that helps me." Char's eyes got wide as the words sank in. she looked up to Nathan and couldn't help the surprise in her eyes or voice as she spoke. "You have a therapist?" Nathan nodded his head and took a deep breath. He undid the shoulder holster and suspenders. Off came his tie and then the buttons of his dress shirt. Char was stunned as he took off the dress shirt and his tattoos and muscles came to view. Her eyes got wide as he took off his tank top undershirt and she saw his frame. On one side of his chest was a rank of the Marines she knew as Gunnery Sergeant and his recon insignia. On the other side of his chest was a cross sheathed in flames. Her eyes followed the line of his cord down and saw a grinning death head with crossed bones. She looked at the tattoo and her eyes met his. Seeing her confusion he slowly turned around and when he did that her eyes got wide. The jagged scar on his lower back was disturbing. The three tears in his skin had been closed by surgery, but the grotesque lines and rivulets in his flesh were still there, forever carved into his flesh. Char's eyes and mouth were wide open as he slowly turned and walked to her. Once he got to her his hand found hers and he traced her fingers over the holes in his abdomen. Char looked up to him and saw his serene eyes as he looked down at her. "A memento of my service in Iraq," he explained. Char was silent as he went back to his desk and put his shirt and tie back on. As he did Nathan decided to explain. "When we were ambushed I had to get to a vehicle that had been taken out by an IED. Meyerson was on the ground and I held off an attack that was trying to get to his body. I got into a shootout that went on and on, then I got hit," Nathan calmly explained. "For a long time I couldn't sleep at nights. Even when I met Donia, things were not well with me. I put a gun in her face one night and it was the wakeup call I needed. When we moved in together I started seeing a shrink. Things got a lot better for us and after I was fine I saw what I had in my life and she is beautiful," Nathan said smiling as he tied his tie properly. Char knew of whom he was speaking and her lip quivered. Nathan put his suspenders of and his holster then sat back down with her. "Listen, life is a miserable bitch and a half. It sucks and makes you wish to God that you were dead, but when you see something that you really want life has a way of fucking with you. Find out what you want and go for it, or you'll hate yourself forever," Nathan said softly and lifted her head to look at him. His warm eyes filled hers and a smile on his face made her nod her head. "That's my girl," he growled and patted her cheek. Char stood up and hugged her friend to her. Nathan returned the hug and patted her back softly. "Feel better?" he asked. "Yes, she whispered. "Good! Now make sure you're on time for dinner," he laughed and poked her side. Char laughed at the tickle. She shoved him away and Nathan laughed at that. "So when did you start carrying?" she asked. "Since the building owner got paranoid from all the BS in the Middle East," he said firmly. Char rolled her eyes and walked to the door. She looked at the name and number and took a deep breath. One last look back to Nathan made her smile as he smirked at her and pointed to the door. "Back to work and make my building some money," he joked and Char laughed at the crude humor. "Fuck you!" she laughed and walked from his office. Nathan smiled at her and went back behind his desk. He turned on his computer and went back to his work. He had a few meetings lined up with the owners of the companies in the building so he set about making calls to each of them. Char rode the elevator back up to the office and walked to her desk. She sat down behind the chair and smiled. Nathan's words helped her a lot. In a nutshell she knew he was telling her to make good on her own mind and heart. With the number in hand Char placed a call and was surprised to find his therapist was a woman. She and the lady had a small chat about a time and date for the meeting and Char was surprised when she said that the next day she would see her. The appointment was set and Char sighed as she set the phone down and looked out her window. She was so lost in thought when Terry came into her office with his trolley that she didn't see him. He had a few packages and envelopes for her. Terry stood in the doorway for a long time and his mind swam in circles. How he desperately wished he could just talk to her and let her know how he felt. The biggest feeling in him was a hope that he didn't make her disgusted by their moment together. His body shook softly as he suddenly realized she was looking at him. "Hey," her voice said breaking the silence. Terry was snapped back to the here and now and walked into her office. "I have some..." he started to say when she raised a hand to stop him. "I know that silly," she said and a smile was on her face. Terry smiled and looked down. Char saw that and shook her head. "I thought you were smiling and looking at me?" she asked. Terry looked up and when he did saw her warm and smiling face looking at him. Her long arm reached out and touched his cheek softly. When it did his eyes closed as the back of her fingers stroked down his face. A sigh came from his mouth as her soft fingers trailed along their path. Char saw it and more things began to make sense to her. She knew that without a doubt he was infatuated with her. That was fine, but she was scared about more of how she felt. "Donia is making dinner for us on Thursday, Nathan invited us over. You want to go?" she asked. "OK," he said quickly. "Hope you like enchiladas," Char whispered and Terry smiled at her. Terry was shaking a bit and Char saw it. She knew why he was shaking and it was all because of her. She glanced out of the office and saw all of her workers were not looking at her so she took a big risk. She leaned across her desk and kissed Terry on the lips. Terry sighed into her lips as she shocked him by pulling him to her and really kissing him. While it was a closed mouth kiss, it sent a shock wave through the both of them. As they kissed a single head managed to peek into the window of her office and the burning eyes saw the spectacle in the office. Henry was seething at the shocking display. How could that bitch be making out with that asshole? Without a word he got up from his desk and left the office fully in a rage, but keeping it under his skin. For the couple in the office time seemed to slow down. Their lips moved slowly with each other and Char didn't control the pace, but she did take the lead. The two of them held each other for a few seconds longer, then broke the embrace. When the kiss ended Terry was light headed. Char was amazed at how she felt. Of all the feelings she may have felt at that moment the one she did feel was a simple one, she felt good. Her eyes found Terry's closed and a sweet smile washed over her face. Her hand brushed his cheek once more and he shuddered out a sigh. They stayed like that until her phone rang and took them from their reverie. Terry quickly went to his trolley and gathered her things. Char handled her phone call and signed her document. As Terry was about to leave Char waved at him. He came back to her desk and she put a hand over the phone and mouthed. "Come back later." Terry nodded his head and went out of the office. He didn't smile as he left, but inside he felt alive. He felt like his shoulders weighed a whole lot less than they did before. The goddess still liked him and that's all he could hope for. The sweet kiss she gave him was one that shook him to the foundation of his being, but somehow he managed to keep himself under control until he was done with work. Char got her load done, but her mind still swam a bit. She wasn't as confused as she was before, but it was still there. No matter how hard she tried to imagine making him leave, his smiling face dispelled those notions and they were put to rest. The thing that still troubled her was a complicated issue to her. The issue in her mind that was all focused on was: what do they do now? All those simple questions swam in her mind, but she hadn't a clue of how to act upon them. The shift came to an end and that found Terry riding home with Char. The cool night air filled the SUV and the soft sounds of a newer song had come to appreciate filtered through. Little Black Submarines by the Black Keys played and the words seemed to touch Char. The end lyrics seemed to resonate in her stomach as she pictured hurting Terry. Of all the things for her to think about, that was one that seemed to make her more and more nervous as they drove on. When they got to the apartment Char sat down on her sofa and took off her heels. She actually walked a lot during her day and it started to get to her. While her stilettos were sexy as she was, they killed her feet after too much walking. She had taken the first one off and as she started to rub her foot, Terry's small hands found themselves on her toes and before she could stop him she felt his magic fingers find the spot and rub deep in. Her Love Ch. 04 "Oh my god, you're hired!" she moaned as the spot began to hurt less. Terry continued to rub her foot and savored the smooth skin, but the sight was rather comical. Her large foot in his small hands made Char giggle a bit. That and he accidentally tickled a spot on her foot. Terry's eyes looked up as she jerked suddenly and she had a playful look in her eyes. "No tickling," she warned. "Sorry," he replied. Char shook her head smiling and patted the seat next to her. Terry got up and sat down next to her where she patted and Char leaned back into her sofa and put her arm around his shoulder. Terry leaned back and into her side. For two weeks he was denied this simple luxury. For two weeks after she had spanked him Char was afraid to touch him it seemed, but now he was where he longed to be once again: in her warm embrace. All night they stayed like that and even fell asleep like that. When the morning rays of the rising sun passed in her window Char slowly fluttered her eyes open. She felt so warm and her smile was wide, then it changed as she saw it was well past eight. "Shit!" she hissed and shot to her feet. Terry was so warm and relaxed he was unaware of what was happening. Before he could open his eyes her sudden motion yanked him up, he was promptly pitched off the sofa and thudded on the floor. Char jumped at the thud and turned to see Terry on the floor flopping around trying to get up. Her hand found his and with a quick tug she got him to his feet. "I'm sorry, but we are going be late, get changed!" she ordered and rushed him along to his room. Terry got enough of his bearings about him to get in his room and change his shirt. He ran to the bathroom and brushed his teeth quickly while Char changed as well. The blur that rounded Char's room was one of a tall woman sprinting/stripping at once. Char's clothes ended up in a heap on the floor and quickly a gray pinstripe skirt suit found its way on her body. Char spun about and quickly rolled her nylons up her legs. Once they were in place she found her shoes and rushed to the bathroom. Her hair was a mess, but it was easily fixable. She did a trick with her flat iron and flattened it out. Instead of it being up, it was in a semi cute bob that went just to her ears. As she rushed out of the bathroom Terry saw the sight before him and he was rocked. She looked so sexy with her hair like that he couldn't help but gawk. He followed her to the kitchen and quickly they gulped down a glass of juice. Quickly they left and went to the garage. As they got into the SUV Char pulled them out and off to the building. As they drove she remembered her appointment that afternoon. Thinking ahead she looked to Terry and instantly had a plan. "Terry, I have a personal appointment to get to this afternoon. Would you mind coming home with Nathan?" she asked. "No," he replied. "Thanks sweetie. It's just a small thing. I won't be too late and maybe we can have Chinese from Hops?" she asked recalling his favorite place. "All right," Terry answered quickly. Char smiled and touched his hand. They held hands the rest of the drive and when they got to the building both barely got to their respective offices on time. Both had days they would rather like to have forgotten. Both were slammed with work from the second they arrived, and both had piles and piles to go through as the day went on. For Char it was her six month reports with all her clients, numbers and stats. For Terry it was just a busy day when all the building seemed to get more mail than the office had delivery personnel. As Char's appointment came, she was only a quarter into things. Normally she would stay late and knock out all her work, but her meeting took personal significance. She put all her important work in its place, then set all the smaller projects in her file cabinets. Locking everything up Char left her office and to the shock of all her people, she left for the day. All her people saw it, but so did one other. His burning eyes saw a chance and he decided to take it. Char sat in the waiting room of the therapist's office for a few minutes. The thing that made the office appealing was its simplicity. For a Manhattan office, it was not ritzy, or plush. Instead it had a simple warm feel to it. Char saw simple art on the walls depicting sailing boats and shores with light houses. The furnishings of the lobby were also simple wood and canvas types. While comfortable, they didn't make the room seem underwhelming. The long wait came to an end when the receptionist got a call and looked to Char. "Ms. Clark? Dr. Silva will see you now," she said and Char got up. "Third door on the right hand side please," the young woman said in a soft tone. Char walked the length of the hall and to the door. She rapped softly with the back of her knuckles. "Come in Ms. Clark," a voice said from the other side. The door opened and the simple office greeted Char's eyes. The side wall had a modest bookshelf on it. The other side had a wall that was bare, but had what looked like outlines of various people on it. The back wall had several plaques and papers on it. The middle of the room had a nice desk with a modest assortment of knick knacks on it. The door with the outlines also had a door on it and that door opened. Through the door strode a very unlikely figure. The woman was barely in her thirties. Her skin was a dark cinnamon and her large oval eyes were a steel gray color. Her thick black hair was in a natural style that was very wild and curly. Her clothes were nice and pleasing to the eyes. A simple blue skirt and a matching blouse. Her shoes were matching flats. All in all the woman was someone Char would never expect to get through a serious man like Nathan. "Hello Ms. Clark. My name is Anita Silver. I believe our mutual associate has referred you to me," the woman said and her accent was slight, but there. Char took her hand and shook it and almost at once Ms. Silver chuckled. "Nathan told me you were a large woman, now I see what he meant," she said with a lighthearted chuckle. Char almost felt silly and at the same time she wanted to pound Nathan for calling her "large". While the humor was appreciated, she was going to get him for that. "Please have a seat," Anita offered. "So do I call you doctor or anything in particular?" Char asked. "Anita is fine. I think it's easier for people to make a break through with themselves if they don't bog everything down into formalities," Anita said and went to her coffee machine. She raised a cup and Char nodded. The machine began to whir as Anita milled her beans she took a deep breath and said nothing to Char. For a long time Char sat unsure of where to start, or even what to say for that matter. As Anita came back with the cups she handed one to Char and set the tray down with the sugars and milk. Anita made hers just so and Char sipped hers black and was amazed at the soothing flavor of the brew. "It's a special blend I get from a store on thirty fifth,' Anita said seeing Char's reaction. Char sipped it again and looked down. "But it seems that it's not coffee you want to speak of is it?" Anita asked casually. "No," Char whispered. Anita nodded her head and sipped her coffee then did something Char didn't expect. "I think that your biggest problem is you over think things," Anita just said quickly. Char sat up right and Anita smiled. "And by that reaction I would be made correct," she laughed and Char shook her head and sighed. "I am uptight sometimes," Char confessed. "Well, I hardly think that it's because you're unsure of yourself. The way you hold yourself is in line with someone with a firm hold on things. But deep down I can easily see you're troubled, care to elaborate?" Anita asked and pulled out her pen and paper. Char inhaled through her nose and sat back in the comfortable chair. As she exhaled she began to just let it all out. She told her of growing up and the things she did for her siblings. She told her of how she sacrificed her own happiness for her brothers and sisters to do well. She also told her of the pride she had in being the one that everyone looked up to. The conversation went on and on as she went on about meeting Donia and how good of friends they became. She also told of the happy day she met Nathan before the wedding for the first time. Anita sat back absorbing all she told her. From the inflection in Char's voice, to the motions of her body, Anita gauged and calculated everything. Simple notes dotted her paper as she listened to Char, then the troubling story of how she met Terry began. Anita was quiet as Char seemed to go into a zone to tell her that tale. Of how she met him at work, to how she stopped him from jumping off the balcony, Anita was quite intrigued by it all. The tale then shifted to the moment she took Terry from his family and Char was careful to keep some things from her. The words began to take a different tone as Char got to the time spent living with Terry and how things began to develop between them. Anita noted the smiles and laughs she had thinking of those times and quickly came to a conclusion of things, then had to hold that as Char spoke of the spanking. When Char told her of that, it got intriguing. "I just couldn't stop myself," Char said and unconsciously her thighs rubbed together. "He was...just...there. Under my hand and whimpering, but it wasn't pain," Char said softly and tried to hide the arousal forming in her eyes. "Then?" Anita asked softly. "I felt...him...and he was fully hard. He was rubbing against my thigh and it felt so....good," Char replied. Her hands locked together and interlocked with her fingers as Char tried to get herself under control. "I couldn't stop spanking him. I couldn't help it, then....then he came," Char whispered and shuddered. The memory of feeling his hot load splatting against her thighs sent a jolt to her tummy. Anita saw how she tried to keep her mind clear, but it wasn't helping. "It was so much....I never had a man do that before," Char said breathlessly. "What do you mean?" Anita asked. "I never had a man...explode like that before, "Char tried to explain. "He exploded?' Anita asked. "I felt him spurt at least nine times...and that was before he slumped over my knee and kept on leaking," Char said and remembered it all so well. Char keenly remembered his shallow breathing as the dribbles from his dick ran down her leg. She remembered how he twitched and shook in her lap. How his butt cheeks had clenched in her hand as she squeezed him after he came. The whole thought made her already aroused mind begin to grow far worse. Her tummy was tight and the wetness between her legs began to leak down her thighs. As much as she wanted to hold it back, she couldn't help what she was feeling. "Why do I feel like this?" Char suddenly blurted out. That sudden outburst caught Anita by surprise. "Like what?" she asked. "I never in my whole life wanted to do anything like that. I never ever wanted to hold someone down and...spank them. But then I did it to Terry! A person I was trying to protect, and I..." Char said and stopped as she felt tears forming in her eyes and a lump in her throat. "That you, what?" Anita asked. Char realized the feeling and it scared her. "That I care about," Char whiapered and it all sounded so true. "Things happen sometimes. As to Terry, he sounds like quite a person if he can make you feel so vulnerable. Do you feel bad for that Charmel? It's natural to be afraid of things that occur like that. Sometimes things happen and we wish they wouldn't. But as I see you, I see a strong woman who shouldn't be ashamed of what she feels. Now answer me honestly, and really think about this, how do you see your relationship with Terry?" she asked. Char was rocked to her core. The simple question had the furthest thing from a simple answer to her. The answer she gave would have far reaching repercussions she knew this to be the solemn truth, but in her heart Char had always wanted to have someone to hold. She had longed to have someone who truly cared for her. Thinking of how happy Terry was just to be with her and how he would try and get as close to her as he could Char couldn't help the words that came from her mouth. "I could see us as a happy couple," she answered and again the truth wasn't so bad to her ears. "Then what are you so afraid of?" Anita asked and laughed. "I don't know...I've never...never....you know," Char pleaded with her eyes. "You don't know about a dominant submissive relationship?" Anita reasoned. Char nodded and Anita smiled warmly. "I don't either, but as I am also a sex therapist I know of someone who would be more than happy to help you, if you want it," Anita answered. "You do?" Char asked and sounded dumbfounded. "Of course I do. He is a very generous man who helps me with my work and also is a good man to know," Anita said cheerfully and got to her feet. Anita walked to her desk and found the card she was looking for after a brief search. "I'll call him and he'll gladly meet you anytime. Even now if you'd like," Anita said pleasantly. Char was more than a little apprehensive at this new route. While she was slightly uncomfortable talking to Anita, talking to some random man, and a S&M person at that, was a bit much for her. She raised her hand and shook her head. "No, no...I don't think its right that I talk to someone like that about his and my own private lives," Char said firmly. Char wasn't sure of talking about Terry without him knowing it. She didn't want to be that person, but Anita smiled disarmingly at her. "I can understand your worries, but I really think that safety is what I'm looking to offer you," Anita replied. "Safety?" Char asked incredulously. "Why yes. In my time I have seen many people come and go from abusive relationships and also a few from the harder things of a more...unconventional nature," Anita began and Char looked at her curiously. "I have seen the after effects of a submissive relationship that went too far and it wasn't pretty. With this help you can understand the basics of how not to push too far,' Anita said reassuringly. Char looked down at her feet and pondered the issue. She knew that to push Terry too far would likely invite catastrophe. But she also didn't wish to flaunt their escapades to everyone under the sun. Nathan was one thing, Anita was someone who was bound by a legal agreement. But this person, this person was an unknown and Char would have none of it. "What if I hold off on that for now?" Char asked Anita. "Of course you can. Take your time and why don't the two of you test the waters first. See if there is anything between you that needs to be brought to his attention, then go together," Anita offered. "That sounds much better," Char said and her eyes thanked Anita for being so understanding. "Now what are you waiting for?" Anita teased. Char laughed and shook her head. They shook hands and Anita left Char with one final thought. "Why let fear conquer the greatness and beauty you behold?" The thought rattled around in her brain for a long time. Fear was one of the reasons that the two of them came to be. But it was his fear of his life. Now, another type of fear threatened to rip them apart by making them pause. Char realized that Terry had nothing to fear from her, but she had something to fear from herself. As she sat in thought her mind wandered to his smiling face and the way he would laugh and smile at movies and the simple things. The innocence in his eyes was hypnotic, but behind all of that Char saw something that she knew she couldn't ignore. She saw it every time she looked at his eyes and he saw hers. Deep down behind it all, he was smitten with her and it was more than a little obvious. But what was more, she felt a similar feeling in return. Terry finalized his last deliveries and put away all the paperwork and signatures of the day. When the office was closed down he put his jacket on and found his way to Nathan's office. The guards were all out at their posts so that left Nathan and his shift supervisor alone in the office. The supervisor saw Terry and waived him in. Knowing the circumstances behind why the little man was there, the supervisor said nothing. Plus he owed Nathan his job anyway, so it was no big to him. As Terry came into Nathan's office he actually looked around a bit as Nathan wasn't in at the moment. Terry panned his head around and took notice of the awards and plaques on the walls. He saw a few from the building for the year Nathan had worked there and the excellence he brought. He also saw a few awards from his time in the Marines. A few were awards from his command, but one stood out to him. It was a plaque with a wooden paddle on it with a stack of awards under it. On the wooden paddle was an insignia that he had no idea what it meant. As he was looking at the paddle Nathan strolled in from his meeting. He saw Terry looking at it and smirked. It was obvious he was confused so he decided to enlighten the younger man. "It was a going away present from my old unit," Nathan said fondly and his sudden words scared Terry. Terry jumped and spun about to see Nathan standing in the doorway looking at the award. Nathan strolled up to the award and gazed upon it with a proud smile. "After I was released from the hospital, my unit came back from over there. They gave me a party and at it they had all pitched in to get this for me," Nathan said and ran his hand over the paddle. "Why the paddle?" Terry asked confused. Nathan chuckled at the question. The likelihood of it all was Terry had no idea of his past, so he decided to enlightened him a bit. Nathan explained his time as a Recon Marine. His time in training made the paddle significant to things. The paddling through the surf with a boat was a hard thing to do and it became a sort of symbol to the ones who made it through. Nathan chuckled as he told Terry of the innumerable times he and his men went overboard before they got it right. "I really didn't want to get out, but the doctors told me that if I stayed I would likely develop long term issues, so I took a half pension and a medical discharge to ensure I had some benefits, then called it a career," Nathan said and went to his desk. "Do you miss it?" Terry asked. Nathan sat down and turned his chair to face the younger man. He breathed in through his nose, then exhaled a deep breath as he looked at the wall. "Yes, but at the same time no," Nathan said honestly. Terry looked at him confused, so Nathan explained. "If I would have stayed in, I would likely be in Iraq or Afghanistan still. While it was not as bad as the media makes it out to be, I wouldn't have met Donia or found such a good place in my life," Nathan explained. Terry looked down as he understood what he meant. In his stomach Terry understood what Nathan was referring to. He knew that the two of them were happy and married with a family. Terry was happy for Nathan, but after the kiss he shared with Char not so long ago, he felt jealous of him. He felt so strange feeling that way as Nathan had been nothing but kind to him, but it was there. "Something on your mind?" Nathan asked seeing the sudden turn in Terry's expression. Terry did, but didn't know how to put it to him. "I can imagine it's between the two of you," Nathan said and got up from his chair. Terry looked up suddenly at that and was stunned that Nathan could read his mind so easily. Nathan went to his door and closed it. His head didn't look back as he went on. "You like her don't you?" he said plainly. Terry blushed furiously at that. His head looked down right away. Nathan turned back and his eyes found a red eared Terry looking at his toes. A rolling laugh escaped his belly as he walked up to Terry and slapped him on the shoulder. Terry jumped at that and looked up to see Nathan's amused face sitting in the chair across from him. Her Love Ch. 04 "And what's wrong with that?" Nathan asked. Terry shook his head as he didn't have an answer. Seeing that Nathan actually smiled at him and decided to help the lad out. At that moment he realized he had his total attention and figured now was the time to help the kid out and grow a touch. "That's right! Nothing at all!" Nathan exclaimed and gripped his shoulder firmly. "Kid, listen to me and listen good, life is not a fun thing. I know this, you know this, and hell Char knows this. We all have our demons that we need to overcome. For me it is PTSD and a nagging suspicion I'll be in surgery again by the time I'm fifty," he began and squeezed his shoulder again. "For her, it's her own upbringing and a few other reasons, but then we come to you. Kid, listen to me on this if you listen to me on anything: Be Strong," Nathan said softly. Terry's eyes looked dead into Nathan's as Nathan uttered those two words. "I know the shit you were put through. I know all about it. Who do you think sent Emil and Meyerson with you and Char?" Nathan explained as Terry's shaking eyes found his. "Listen, it's all up here," Nathan said by tapping Terry on the forehead with his index finger, "Ninety nine percent of everything you do is right here. During my time in I found that out all too well. Our training is meant to cull those who don't have the mindset to do it. If you have the physical side down that's nice, but if you don't have the mental focus for it, you won't." Nathan's words began to sink into Terry's mind. Nathan wasn't done there and kept up with a simple logic for the young man. "If you really want it, and I mean REALLY want it. Then nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, will ever come between you and your goal," Nathan said and squeezed the shoulder hard enough that Terry looked up to him. "Life is how you make it, not what things do to you," he said in finality and patted his arm. "But what if I can't?" Terry asked. "Then you can't, but are you really going to just quit and say "it's not fair?" Nathan asked. Terry shook his head no and that was all Nathan needed to see. "Then why did you have to ask?" he said, not really asking a question. "Was it the same for you and Donia?" Terry asked. "No, but at the same time it was never easy for us," Nathan said honestly, "Then again what in life that's worth being rewarded for ever truly is simple? Those things that are, are the things we take for granted or make as a simple pleasure. Those things that you strive for taste all the sweeter when you take them and make it happen." Nathan said and tapped his arm that had his Marine Corps tattoo. Terry looked at the arm and nodded his head. "If you want truth buddy, when I went to the Marines, I was a weak minded moron that thought he was special. But after I had my reality check and found I wasn't, then shit got real. It was after my combat training that I found an outlet for what my soul was eager for and tried out for Force Recon. That was the hardest thing I ever did, but I made it through. Now I know for you trying to make something good with her will be similar, but don't ever quit and don't let anything come between you two and I guarantee you, it'll be all right, buddy," Nathan said and walked to the side of his desk and sat back down. Terry let those words sit in his mind for the rest of the time they sat in his office. The hours ticked by, but he didn't move or even speak. Nathan got him a bottle of water as he went over the last bits of his work, then he saw the time. Nathan had about five minutes more work and looked to Terry, he settled everything and started to pack up shop. "Hey, go and meet me at the truck. I'll just close up here in a few minutes," Nathan said thinking of his roving patrols in the garage. "Hmm...OK," Terry said and got up from the chair. Nathan watched Terry go to the garage and placed a call to the men at the booth. He informed them to keep an eye on Terry as he was alone in the garage. The men gave him an OK and Nathan finished up his work. Terry went to the elevator and was still lost in thought. He got in and rode it down, but his eyes were at the floor and not looking around him. Henry and his two friends just so happened to be going to the garage to go out when lo and behold the little shit that was fucking up his program got into the elevator without looking around. His smug grin was half thankful, the rest purely malice driven. He looked to his friends and gave them a subtle nod and looked to Terry. The men, both of whom were trouble makers in their own right, understood the implication and nodded back. The elevator dinged for the garage and Terry walked out quickly and towards Nathan's truck. He walked by the guard post as did the rest of the crowd while Henry and his friends slipped around the post without being noticed and followed Terry to the truck. Terry made it the long path to the truck. When he got there he went to the passenger side was when one of Henry's friends looped around the truck and suddenly popped up in front of him. Terry saw a larger man who was wearing a dress shirt with no tie and slacks. He was white and had brown eyes. His sneering face was typical of one of the bullies he had to put up with in school. As he turned to get away Henry and the other of his friends came up and Terry was trapped. "Well, well, well, look at what crawls into the garage fellas," Henry said and shoved Terry backwards. The one behind Terry caught him as he fell back and shoved him back towards Henry. Henry laughed and caught him and shoved him to the truck. Terry hit the truck and grabbed the side to keep from falling. As he did, Henry's other friend grabbed Terry and stood him up straight. With that Henry came up and got into Terry's face. "Now how is it you think that that fine ass bitch is ever gonna want a turd like you?" Henry taunted and the words stung Terry in a place that wasn't the normal fear driven place he hid before. "You know that big bitch would look really good on her knees bobbing on my knob" Henry taunted and did a lewd hip thrust. His friends chuckled at that, but Terry didn't. The one holding him up tossed Terry forward and Henry took the cue. He went to swing at Terry, but Terry did something that shocked everyone. As Terry went forward, he ducked low. The blow sailed over where Terry was and caught the friend in the face, but Terry was aided by the toss and his momentum carried him right into Henry's exposed knees. The force of Terry slamming into Henry's over extended kneecaps had its effect as the shock of one hundred and twenty nine pounds slammed into it full on. Henry's knee buckled and he screamed in pain as he went back with the new momentum. The force of the new found torque whipped Henry backward and slammed him to the floor. The concrete met his skull and at once Henry was out like a light. The friend behind Henry saw what happened and was shocked, but he was shocked even more when Terry bounced up and before he could react a blazing eyed Terry flew at the man with his hands out. The fire that was in Terry's eyes was one that the man had never seen before, but if he knew what was driving the rage he would have run away screaming. The fury of all his torment and torture came out in one instant as his right hand found the man's nose with all he had. The furious blow had the desired effect of making the lights flash wildly in the man's eyes. While Terry did that he was unaware of the one behind that Henry hat hit. The man shook off the halfhearted punch easily, then watched as the small punk hit his friend right in the nose. His friend recoiled in agony, but that only drove the bigger man to rage. The larger man ran behind Terry and slugged him behind the ear as hard as he could. The blow staggered Terry tremendously and sent him stumbling to the floor. The one whom had been hit in the nose screamed in anger and spun around, he saw the prone form of his tormentor and with all his fury drove his foot into Terry's side. For years Terry had taken vicious kicks from Vonte, and compared to them, this kick was nothing. Terry rolled away under the truck, and didn't realize that his guardian angel was over his shoulder. As soon as the man's foot recoiled he turned about as the sounds of running feet made both of them look the other way. Nathan and three of his men were charging up, but Nathan was in no mood to be kind. He met the one who hit Terry and before the man, who was actually bigger than Nathan, could react he found himself on the floor as Nathan grabbed his arm and locked it out. The blur of motion didn't end there as in the same motion his foot shot out and the heel of his shoe met the middle of the other man's thigh. Nathan completed the spin as the other man sank to the floor squalling in agony as the bruise set into his thigh right away. The man sobbed in pain as Nathan's guards secured the two men in zip ties. Nathan looked over to Henry and saw the man laid out unconscious and spun about looking for Terry. His eyes found him under his truck and a relived expression washed over Nathan's face. Nathan quickly walked up to Terry and held out his hand to him. Terry came out from under the truck and took the offered hand. "You alright?" Nathan asked and Terry nodded his head. The first thing Nathan saw was not a scared rabbit, and that surprised him, he was amazed at how Terry was not shaking or anything. Nathan turned him side to side and checked over him knowing Char would have his ass if anything happened to the young man. Seeing nothing outward he looked into his eyes and checked to see if Terry was loopy. Again, Terry didn't show any outwards signs so he breathed a sigh of relief, then he heard a groaning next to him. Terry and Nathan both looked down to see Henry stirring. Nathan let go of Terry's hand and his own snatched the groggy man up and roughly slammed him into the side of the truck bed. Henry groaned as he hit and his eyes slowly came to focus on a very grim faced director of security glaring at him. Almost at once his eyes got wide and Henry realized he couldn't move his hands as Nathan had then pinned. "I believe we've had this conversation once before," Nathan grimly said. "Man I..." Henry tried to protest, but Nathan grabbed him by the lapels and yanked him off the ground and into his face. "Man you nothing!" he growled and Henry recoiled from the savage, almost dead eyes that Gunnery Sergeant Nathan Blake once had before he came back. The cold, hardened eyes of the Recon Marine came to the fore front and bore into the weak minded eyes of Henry. The scariness of them made a cold sensation rush through his whole body as the dead orbs found his center and began to drain the heat from his body. "Your time at MY building is at an end. I am going to report this to your supervisor, and if you even think of saying anything, to the police. You see this is my truck, and of course I have it under surveillance you little fuck! I have everything you and tweedle dee and tweedle dumb ass here did on tape." Nathan spat in his face. "Dude, dude, I'm...." Henry wanted to apologize, but Nathan would have none of it. "Shut the fuck up!" Nathan said each word slowly to emphasize the deep pile of shit Henry now found himself in. "Leave my building, and take your bitch ass friends with you. And if I ever see you or your bitch ass friends even come near this kid again, we are gonna have a go, and I promise you, you and them won't like the outcome," Nathan growled at him and turned suddenly. Nathan let go of the lapels and Henry stumbled over his feet and fell flat on his face. Once there he got to his back and saw the looming figure of Nathan stalking toward him. Henry got up and bolted to his car. His friends were cut loose and hobbled after him as best they could. Nathan signaled for his men to follow them out. A few seconds later Henry's car drove by them and Nathan had his coat open so the pistol could be seen as the men drove away. His scowling face and hard eyes followed the car as it exited the garage and as soon as it was done he turned back to Terry and exhaled to let it go. "Thank you," Terry said and he was shaking. Nathan saw the way he was shaking and put his hand on Terry's shoulder to make him look up to him. "You did great kiddo!" Nathan exclaimed in a proud, almost big brother like voice. "I did?" Terry asked back. Nathan nodded his head and grinned at the younger man. A part of Nathan indeed felt like a big brother, it was fitting to him as he had two younger siblings. His biggest hope was that he had gotten through to Terry and judging by all he had seen he was certain he had. It was a small step in the grand scheme of things, but to Terry, Nathan knew, it was like climbing the Himalayas. "One mountain at a time," Nathan said and took Terry to the garage office to file the report. Nathan had his camera operator burn a copy of the disk showing Henry and his friends cornering Terry and taunting him. He also watched as Terry actually went low like he planned to do it. Once Terry saw it he was floored that he actually did it. Terry explained to Nathan he didn't remember doing it, but the camera was proof he had. The report was filed and Nathan decided to hold off on calling the police for now. He did, however, make a certain call to a supervisor of Henry's. "He what?!" Char exclaimed. "He kicked the ass out of the one and knocked Henry the fuck out!" Nathan said laughing. Char was driving home when the call came in. Nathan explained everything to her after he made her promise to let him talk without interrupting him. Once the tale was told Char's eyes were wide indeed as she had never expected that. Nathan also told her he had it all on camera and was ready to go further if she felt it appropriate. Char decided to talk to Terry first and see what he wanted to have done. Char knew that as soon as she got in the next day she was signing the termination order, so she was just going to play the rest by ear. "We are leaving now, see you in a bit," Nathan said and corralled Terry. The whole drive to the apartment Nathan saw Terry was jittery. He knew it was likely adrenaline and knew that later on he would likely have a headache and be sore. "Take a hot bath tonight and take some Tylenol, then I want you to call in tomorrow," Nathan said to Terry. Terry nodded to his friend and suddenly looked at him. He watched from under the truck the way Nathan caught the big man's hand and spun about as he locked it up then kicked the other in the leg. He was floored by how easy he made it seem, that sparked a question to Terry. "Can you teach me how to fight?" Terry asked in a surprisingly louder voice than he normally used. "I can teach you to protect yourself, but not to fight," Nathan corrected him. "What's the difference?" Terry asked. "To fight is to do one of two things. First; is to wage a combative action against another person. Second: is to be an asshole who wants to be a bully. To defend yourself is to make both of the above seem like a bad idea," Nathan said chuckling. "But you just fought them," Terry said confused. Nathan chuckled again. "No. I defended you from them. If I wanted to fight them, they would have gotten worse than they did. But I only wished the fight to be over and save you and them from further pain," Nathan explained. Terry looked down at his hands and saw the one he had hit the other was red and tingling. He understood Nathan's point of view and nodded his head. "We can start whenever you are ready, buddy," Nathan said and turned into Char's building. Terry nodded his head and inhaled as he was trying to calm down, but he was still fired up from before. He didn't know why he did what he did, but deep down it was something he was sure of speaking about Char was unacceptable. It was as if when Henry spoke of Char suddenly he lost himself. The images of Henry trying to force Char into sex with him set off a fire that Terry still didn't have under control. The fire had abated when he saw that Henry was down, but it raged through him as he saw the man before him coming at him. The truck turned off and Terry found himself at the elevator and going up. Nathan went with him and once they got to the floor Nathan turned Terry to look at him. "Hey, look at me," Nathan said. Terry's eyes met his and Nathan nodded his head. "You're alright now buddy, now why don't you do yourself a solid and go give Char a big hug, but not because I said so, but because you both need it," Nathan said and playfully pushed his knuckles across Terry's jaw, "Go get her tiger!" Nathan watched as Terry walked from the elevator and to the door. As soon as he got close the door opened up and Char was there. She saw Terry coming at her and before either could say a word they were locked in a tight embrace. Nathan didn't say a word as he hit the button and the elevator door closed.
