It should be at least, a little better. If you are just joining me, you will not have to suffer as much as the others :). This was my very first story on here. I hope you enjoy it, as well as the chapters that follow. I'm going over ch. 2 next so bare with me. Grammar police and others thank you for the constructive criticism. ~Lana~ ***** Niala pressed the end of the pen into her cheek. She didn't even feel it was about to cause a mark on her smooth skin. Lost in thought, she wondered how it had gotten this point with men. She was sure that she deserved better. So why, did she keep giving herself away to people who didn't deserve it? The last guy she "talked to", Samuel, had been after her forever. He worked in her building and would always stop by and flirt. He was cute and funny, Niala had decided she liked him enough. After a year of constant flirting she gave him a chance. They had easy conversation and he made her laugh. Their casual lunches turned into actual dates. She felt comfortable enough to take the next step and sleep with him. Then, it seemed like he was hooked on her. Sam said she blew his mind. He even said he wanted to marry her one day. Things between them were moving too fast for her. It seemed he had gone from zero to sixty. Niala said they needed to take a step back. On the surface between them things seemed the same, just no sex. One day Sam said he needed to talk to her about something important. The big thing turned out to be a baby. Since she cut off the sex, he started messing around. Sam had gotten his ex pregnant, while, they were still supposed to be dating. After that she was done. Trying to put the whole thing behind her was becoming difficult. He just kept coming around...apologizing. Yes, they were always so sorry after the fact. "Isn't that how it always goes?" she wondered aloud. She had thought they were on the way to something real. Niala sighed looking around. Ashley, the girl who manned the receptionist desk with her was staring. "What?" Ashley rolled her eyes. They had quickly become friends but, sometimes she still reacted to Niala's quirks. "Big red dents on the cheek aren't very attractive La La, neither talking to yourself." Niala cringed. She didn't like the nickname. It sounded like Ashley was talking to a child or someone incompetent. "Well I have to do something to push the attention away from myself, and onto you. Without attention you shrivel up." The zing was well deserved that bitch knows I hate that, she thought. She smiled at her they always joked. They both worked reception in front of a slightly large office building. While most buildings in the city had taken the security route, hers opted to keep some eye candy around. Niala didn't consider herself eye candy; she felt Ashley fit the bill more than she. Ash was slim with slightly spa tanned skin, long light brown hair and big blue eyes. She stood 5'3 the definition of petite. Though she was small in frame she still had curves. Naila felt most men would go crazy for her big chest and smaller butt. That iswhat "they" go for, she would muse. Men would always stare at Ashley as she walked by. Niala felt she was the complete opposite. She was taller about 5'6 and a quarter. In heels she felt like an Amazon. Her body was not slim at all in her eyes. She was too thick, extra curvy with an hour glass shape. At a C cup she was full, but not as big as Ash. Then there was the butt problem. She wasn't extra big like Buffy the body or anything, but, she did have a big butt. The way her pencil skirts hugged her hips and firm bottom, everybody noticed. She just didn't figure she was, the people in the buildings definition of beauty. Her hair was natural, no relaxers to keep it strait. She wore her hair curly most of the time. That was another thing she figured was a turn off. She had thick finger wide curls that went a little wild. It was dark auburn red at the moment. The color made the red tones in her honey brown skin even more noticeable. A lot of people thought it wasn't her hair; a lot of people thought she was mixed. Naila thought she was too much, too different. People stared, children gazed in wonder By the reactions she got from people she couldn't tell how she was being perceived, positive or negative. Not that Niala sat for hours trying to work out what people thought of her. At the end of the day, she could give a flying fat rat. Her mind moved a mile a minute, that was one of the many thoughts that streaked past. She was once again pulled from her thoughts when the fire alarm went off. "Really? Again? I swear, it's like the alarm that cried fire. When there is a real fire, someone is going to burn up cause they won't believe it!" Ashley complained. Each grabbed their phones and purses, not rushing out the building. This was the third time in two weeks. "It's really too hot for this. I'm about the strip," Niala breathed fanning herself like she had caught the vapors. The sun was bearing down in front of the building. All the people bunched around didn't help either. "I know I would like to see that show," Sam had slinked up behind her. She smirked and rolled her eyes. "Too bad those days are over, ask baby mama." "La la you know after we sort everything out, I want us to be together. I love you," he grabed her arm, and she jerked it away. "If you loved me, you wouldn't have went raw into your ex and became a cliché." Samuel looked wounded like she kicked him in the balls. Inside she flinched, wow, that was really harsh and out of character. But he did call her La la. Then had the nerve to say he loved her, while probably telling his ex the same to keep peace. He might have meant it when he told his ex, who knows. She apologized and moved away, she really was in no place to call someone a cliché in that respect... Ashley and Niala took their places back behind the desk, fanning like crazy women once they were cleared to go in. Texas heat is no joke. They knew the fire captain was coming soon and Ashley got excited. She had a sick Santa Clause crush on him. She said he looked like sexy Santa fireman without the belly. Ash always joked about riding his sleigh. How sick is that? Since the alarms kept going off, soon the building would be fined. Ashley got ready unbuttoning her shirt a little and putting on lip gloss. Niala shook her head, " I see you setting out the milk but, where are the cookies??" Ash shot her the finger. The door opened and a group walked in; the captain was not alone. In fact he wasn't there at all.Niala saw his face react to her before she fully took him in. She was standing and saw his eyes get wide. He looked at her then after a second, they went normal. Did she really just see that? She couldn't tell if the look was a good or bad thing. When he walked up to the desk, she really got a look at him. He was tall, about 6'2 with sun kissed skin. His blue eyes had specks of topaz, they were beautiful. They set in a symmetrical, handsome face. His hair was blonde and cut close the scalp. The way the t-shirt hugged him, Niala could make out the definitions of his muscles. He looked extra sexy with his turnout gear hanging off him. She pictured herself rubbing his chest as she laid on it. Had it been that long? She could barely pay attention, while he scolded them. "I will have to let the captain know this was a false alarm. Then he will have to tell the Marshall about the repeated occurrences. The fines can get pretty hefty if the alarm keeps going off. Y'all need to get that fixed pronto. Pass this warning to the building manager." "W-we're sorry, we have someone coming to look at it later this week. It just went off before the guy had time to come out". She stammered feeling like a child. Hell, she almost said daddy and that was not her thing. No daddy issues here, she almost laughed. He was just so commanding. The firemen left soon after that. Naila breathed deep. He was so fine, she knew she had that 'deer in head lights' look. Part of her wanted to go after him; he stared at her the whole time. But was it a good stare, she questioned. No matter, she would probably never see him again. ***** When they got back to the station Austin found himself thinking of the girl at the front desk. He was grinning for now reason. He shook his head; she was cute stumbling over her words. Her body sure wasn't sweet and innocent. Her hair was had a little wildness to it as well. To hear voice soft and stumbling, it seemed out of place with the outer appearance. He was putting his gear away when another fireman came in. "Did you see those two at the desk bro? Josh's eyes were wild with excitement, he loved women. "Yea". Austin brushed it off like he didn't really care. Truth was, he was thinking about her. He had never seen anyone like that. They were only in front of each other for a little over ten minutes. She had affected him in that short amount of time. "That sweet one with the rack and the darker one with her. She looked like, I don't know but, she was hot! Like a coke bottle! " Austin sighed, Josh's description of Naila made his cock twitch. He didn't know her name but her face was so pretty and her body so curvy. He could imagine himself griping by the waist, as he slammed into her from behind. She looked like she had a wild streak in her. She seemed like she'd like it that way. He thought of her voice, it was so soft. He thought of how she would say his name, if he buried his head between her soft thighs. He another deep breath he shook his head. He would probably never see her again. Plus he wasn't looking right now anyway. False Alarm Ch. 02 This is a repost of the original. I did some proof reading. Hopefully, it is better so it can be read and enjoyed... Hey guys, I want to thank everyone for the feedback so far. I truly appreciate the positive and the negative. At the same time, I know I can't make everyone happy. Like I mentioned before, about 6 chapters are already written. So, some of the suggestions are where I was already headed. I am tweaking them to what I think could help or should be removed. I might have found an editor, but I can't expect them to be on my time. I know you guys have lives and are doing me a huge favor. I decided to post the next one and I did look over it more. I will admit I was being lazy at first, shame on me, but I hope I get better. I haven't really seen a story deal with this particular situation; so, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. I hope you all enjoy, feedback is always appreciated. Thanks guys :D ~Lana~ ***** Austin moaned as the he looked down into dark, red, curly hair. It was so soft rubbing against his stomach it almost tickled. They were alone in the fire house. She was teasing him lightly kissing his hip bone. She massaged where his legs connected to his body; it felt like a shock had gone up Austin's spine. How did she know he was so sensitive there? Her breath on his cock was driving him crazy. He wanted to grab her hair and guide her to where he ached for lips to be. When he started to, she pulled away laughing lightly. Just as she was about to wrap her cherry lips around the tip of him, the fire alarm disrupted their pleasure. Shit, not now! Austin shot up in bed; he was alone in his house. There was no fire alarm; this was his three days off. It was 6:00 am still pretty dark outside. His alarm woke him for his morning run. He stumbled around the dark room, refusing to turn on the light. He was strongly considering going back to sleep, to recapture the dream. She felt so real on top of him. It always happened that way. Just when he was about to experience something with Honey, he would be disturbed. It was a cruel joke; his mind was playing on him. He called her honey because of her smooth skin. He still didn't know her name. Honey made guest appearances in his dreams. She would tease but never letting him have a taste, even in fantasy. He had yet to see her again. She just kept popping up randomly in his head. It had been almost a month this was crazy. The last time the alarm went off in her building, he saw her from a distance outside. When they walked in, she was not at the desk. He was actually disappointed; he admitted he was looking for her. Austin shook himself, get it together man it's been almost a month. The dreams felt real none the less. ***** The sun was streaming in her bedroom window; it had to be about eight in the morning. Niala rolled around not quite ready to deal with the light. She felt her nipple through her shirt, it was like morning wood. This time she rubbed them, her fingers sliding the straps of her tank down. She was thinking about sex, she was so horny. It had been 3 months and had her weak moment with Sam already. After that last time it didn't feel that same, which made it easier to cut him off. Niala he told herself she would wait till someone was worth it. Then, she had seen fireman; he was the star of many of dreams. As she rubbed her nipples, she imagined him sucking on one. The pictured he's hands, instead of hers playing with the other. She wondered what he was like, probably powerful like his voice. Niala bite her lip softly. The bottom of her bed sank with the weight of another person. She quickly pulled her straps back up to cover herself from the interrupter. Niala's son was quickly crawling up to meet her face. She smiled; his sandy brown curls were getting long and unruly. His eyebrows, shaped like hers, were up with excitement. "Mommy it's morning, are you goin to cook breakfast? Can you cook me cereal?" This is another reason why men won't look at her she thought. She pushed fireman out her mind; who would want a girl with baggage? Her little joy was not on a guys list of what he wanted in a woman. It was fine with Niala. She refused to settle for someone not accepting of her son or putting her in second place. If it had to be just her and little Sean that was fine, she would just be single. Niala just had to figure out a way to get over the drought she saw coming. Mind over matter. "Mommy, daddy is coming he said he was getting me today," he was so excited. "Yes Sean, its daddy's week. Let's get you ready," She smiled. They hopped up and went to the kitchen. They ate their cereal watching Saturday morning cartoons. Sean asked questions about what he didn't understand. When they finished, Niala and Sean brushed their teeth. She helped him pack his stuffed animal and toys he carted from one house to the other. Those were his things he couldn't bare to part with. One good thing was Sean had a great father. Though Rory and Niala were no longer together, they tried to keep their disagreements out of Sean's life. It already was enough for him they weren't together. They alternated weeks for now since Sean was young. It was possible because they lived in the same city. She would miss him. The little breaks she had allowed her free time most parents didn't have. Tonight she was going out with the girls. She wouldn't have to worry about what time she came home or making breakfast in the morning. ***** The music in the club was loud, with flashing lights giving people glimpses of who they were really talking too. Things always looked better in club lighting. When the house lights came on it would probably be a different story. Fog machines would periodically, blow cold smoke from the ceiling. It made the palce even more hazy. Austin wasn't sure he was in the mood for it tonight. Josh had dragged him out with some other friends to a popular club. He wasn't a homebody by any means, just sometimes he didn't feel like doing the club scene. They found a table between the bar and dance floor; a perfect place to see almost everything going on in the club. After the guys took a round of Patron shots, Austin started to loosen up. They begin looking around making comments on what they saw in the club. It was packed with women. Josh was a self proclaimed ladies man. He took the whole firefighter routine to another level. He dished out bad pick up lines; they got by most of the time because of his looks. Mixed with Irish and Puerto Rican it made for a different sexy combination; Olive skin, dark brown hair, and green eyes. Most ladies would let his pick up lines slide, all he had to do was smile. They would laugh and later he would be sliding into them while they screamed. Austin was no angel; he was not Josh either. He could be compared to movie star handsome, so finding a girl was never a problem. He just decided to slow down a little. No relationships, but hardly random bed hopping. Josh scanned the crowd for his next victim. He spotted a pair of D's, almost bouncing out of their halter dress on the dance floor. After closer examination he shouted, "Hey that's sweetness from the false alarm"! Austin perked up maybe Honey would be there. He scanned the crown and saw Ashley. She looked damn hot in her dress, but she wasn't the one he was looking for. His excitement turned to disappointment when he didn't see her. The busty girl was with another friend. Then the song changed from techno pop, to a popular hip hop party song. The crowd screamed as "Get Low" blasted through the speakers. Ashley was joined on the dance floor by two other women. They rushed to squeeze through the crowd. That was when Austin saw her, his mouth fell open. At first glance, it could have been mistaken she didn't have on a dress at all. The tube dress was a tan shade, close to the color of her skin. The designs in the fabric, looked like art work drawn directly on the dress. It hugged every curve of her body and came below mid thigh. Niala had her hair pulled back. Her curls burst into a pony tail that went past her neck. She looked stunning. As the song played Austin watched her bounce, and gyrate with her friends while laughing. It seem like it was all for fun. The way her body moved was a crime, pure seduction. Austin felt his cock straining against his pants. Her hips moved like they weren't even connected to her body, snake-like. He had never seen anything like it. A knuckle lightly hit his chin, Austin jumped up. Josh laughed, "I was just trying to close your mouth, can't have your drooling ruining my image." The other guys laughed too. "I see you saw foxy brown, man, that girl can move right? I wonder if she can move that way in a different setting," Josh had no censor it seemed. Austin wanted to aim the fist at him, but laughed it off. He was a little jealous. Josh was not alone in the direction of his thoughts. Austin started to boil a little with that realization. He and Josh were not the only ones in the club with those thoughts especially, if they watched 'his' Honey. Niala was having a ball; the DJ was playing all her songs. She loved to dance it was one of her favorite things since she was little. When she was out, the club it was a performance. A slower song came on and she slowed down her pace. Her hips twisted and swayed, whining in different circles. She ran her hands up her body and through her hair. Not stopping until they were in the air. Her eyes were closed and she didn't have a care in the world. By that time, Austin's whole group was staring at her and her friends. He almost came in his pants when she pushed up her hair. With the nerve to have her eyes closed! What was she thinking about? It had to be on purpose, she knew what she was doing. Niala was in her own little world, she had no idea what she just did. Josh let out a whistle. Austin friends, Ryan and Costa were on the edge of their seats. From the moment he first laid eyes on her, his mouth watered. Up until that point, he had being trying to talk himself out of going to her. That last move was the last straw. He was on his feet towards the dance floor before he knew it. Someone from the table called out "Put in a word for us"! Niala was busy, not paying much attention to what was going on around her. She was in the music; she was caught up in the dance. She felt someone's chest hard against her. Her eyes flashed open; she gave her girls 'the look'. Niala usually didn't dance with guys; she preferred not to be felt up. There was always someone who came behind her, without having the decency to face her. She would give her girls the look. The, is this fool cute enough to not embarrass him and let it slide? Her friend Alyssa's wide eyes said yes. Her other friend, Miko's, face said hell yea. While Ashley mouthed something Niala thought was FIREMAN! She smiled pushing her ass out a little more and felt something pressing back. Niala turn her head to the side to confirm. She smiled wider, not believing she had run into him again. She would have to break out her shell. Who knew if it would happen again? After they danced for 2 songs and half of another he spoke."I followed you here to warn you about setting off false alarms." Austin breathed in her hear. She could hear the smile in his voice and laughed. "But sir, I could have sworn something was burning. From the heat I just felt against me, maybe you need a cold shower so you can but back that hose?" Austin actually laughed out loud. She felt his body shake against her. She turned to face him; in the club lights his eyes looked purple. They were still close; he could feel her chest pressed to his. Niala still was moving her body against him. It was driving him crazy; he could barely form his question. "What's your name"? "Niala." "I'm Austin, do you really remember seeing me before," Niala was trying to decided whether to admit it. Honestly was always best. She didn't have to say the whole part about him being in her day dreams. Not to mention just by him being that close, she was extremely hot. "Yea, you are that one who was talking to me, like my father about the alarm. I thought I was going to get punished." Austin was thinking how he could punish her at that moment. "While I wouldn't have minded, I was just was in work mode. I wasn't trying to be mean." She slowed her dancing down to a stop."It's ok, nothing wrong with that, excuse me." Niala gave a quick smile and turned away. She told her girls she was going to the ladies room. She needed to think, her brain was clouded by alcohol. All she could think about was jumping all over him. She thought about pulling Austin to the bathroom with her. Gosh, she couldn't make three months? No, that can't be it she had gone longer than that before Sam. What was it? She knew the fireman was probably wondering what he said wrong. She didn't mind him sweating a little. She just didn't want to jump into anything, nor did she want to settle for being a hook up after the club. Part of her was pulling to let go. It could be one night of ecstasy he was keeping up with her on the dance floor. She was curious to see where else he could keep up. Not only was he super sexy but he was a different race. She had never experienced that before. Not that she was against it; the opportunity just never presented itself. She also never thought she would be "their" type. The other part of her said save it for something real, someone worth it. Curses the struggle between the lady and the slut, for now the lady won. But her drinks made her tongue loose. She decided to tell the fireman what she was thinking anyway, it would be fun. Austin had followed her wondering what he had said or done wrong. She was dancing back on him, right? Maybe she had his head so gone; he didn't notice she wasn't really feeling him. She did mention cold shower; he thought it was a joke. At that moment Niala walked out. She was happy to see he followed her; she wouldn't have to look at him. She got real close to Austin, her lips lightly touching his ear as she spoke. "I had to excuse myself. All I could think about was you pushing up my dress and fucking me, it made me so wet. Unfortunately right now I want more than that, and I think you would just want to take me for a ride." She watched for his reaction. Austin eyes got wide, what a contradiction! How can you be so dirty and then say you want more? His dick started to stiffen again from what she said. It just added to what the dancing had done. Her lips on his ear so soft he wanted to feel them on his. He turned and kissed her. She moaned and responded to him, letting his tongue taste hers. His hands started tracing the curves of her body. He had one hand on her ass, the other trying to make it up the front of her dress. She moaned louder and pushed him away. They just stared for a minute breathing. Niala knew it was time to walk away. "See you around." Her hips swayed as she retreated to her girls. Austin was still in shock, he wasn't sure what he wanted yet so, he didn't follow. If he had followed her, he didn't know what he might do to try to sway her. That proclamation of wanting more at that moment was a bit sobering. Sounds like relationship talk, he wasn't trying to go there. Austin knew he didn't want to jump into anything and he didn't want to lie. All he knew in that moment is he wanted to rip her dress off right then. He traced his lips with his tongue tasting her minty gum. It lingered with traces of the Hypnotic and X-rated she was drinking. It tasted like some naughty bubble gum flavor...for adults. ***** Niala was regretted her choice as she walked into her apt around 3:00 am. She and her friends had gone to their favorite after hours eating spot. They soaked up the drinks in their stomachs with greasy food and talk. Mostly about whom that guy was dancing with her. Now, she was all riled up and alone. Who knows what could be happening if she were with Austin. She had a name now, a name to say in her dreams. She laughed, he wasn't a piece of meat...but he was. She had felt his body on hers so hard, but his skin was smooth to the touch. She couldn't believe what she had said; alcohol always made her bolder. If she saw him again she would turn red and giggle like a school girl. She peeled off her dress and walked sideways to the shower, bumping into the wall. She giggled out loud. "Guess I had a really good time" she said to no one. Letting the water run over her she wet her thick hair; the weight of it made her slightly tilt her had back. Niala began to touch herself, she didn't masturbate. She just explored her body. She could never fully do it, it seemed like she needed someone there to climax. Her thoughts went to Austin he was so fine. She figured she had missed out. Drying herself off, she hit the bed before she even put on clothes. Austin was dodging question about what happened the rest of the night. When he dragged himself home, he sat in his living room thinking of his Honey. He had known she had a wild streak in her. He wondered if she would even remember what she had said to him. He also thought about her reluctance. Honestly, he didn't even think they would exchange words like that so quickly. When he saw her dancing, it completely changed the directions of his thoughts. He knew where to find her, next time he wouldn't need a false alarm. ***** Niala woke in a little panic, startled by her phone ringing. This was the last number she expected to see, how did he even have it? She looked over at the clock, 3:45 am? If he thought this was the way to get her, he had lost it. So disrespectful, but still her heart fluttered as little. Niala nervously answered the phone not sure if she was ready for that conversation. Taking in a deep breath she began to speak, she had to show no feeling. "What the hell Sam! How did you get this number?" Show no feeling but anger. "Well you won't answer your cell when I call. Who would have thought you had a land line, didn't know they still made those" He chuckled. She ignored the joke it was no time to be funny. "What is your problem calling at this hour? If you are cracking jokes it's obviously not an emergency. That has never been ok with me even when we had something. It most certainly isn't now." Sam looked at the ceiling. "Why keep taking it there Nia? I don't want us to be over like this, I need you." "You are greedy Sam you want it all, me and her. If not that, then you don't want anyone to be mad at you, grow up!" Samuel sighed. He was losing her; it was a mistake that changed everything. He was so torn. He had just left his boys. One told him that he saw Niala out and how good she looked in her dress. He knew that dress, he was there when she bought it. He knew how she danced too. They told him she was all over some guy. He couldn't sleep. He wanted to hear her soft voice, even thought right now she was close to a lion's roar. "Nia, I said I was sorry, I want us to get married one day." "And what?! I should sit and wait for you to tie up loose ends. You did this, not me. Why should I have to wait? I don't even think I look at us the same Sam. Its late you shouldn't have called. This just makes things harder. Bye" Even though she acted hard, the conversation drained her like feelings were still there. They were a little. "Dammit!" she said to no one. Niala knew she made the right decision, she just wished she didn't have to see him almost every day. Taking chances my ass, see where that got you. She scolded herself. False Alarm Ch. 03 Hey guys still no editor. If you had emailed me about it is the past please resend cause all my emails for 2 weeks ago are gone  But here is the 3rd chapter I'm up to Seven now. Once again feedback was appreciated. Oh and something that might annoy you. [ ] is text I didn't know another way to do it. So, I don't want to see too much hate mail for that... ***** On Monday Niala spirited across the street on her way to lunch. She almost bumped into a brick wall. "Oh im so sorr-" Austin smiled, it was the first time she had actually seen it. Major overload she thought. "Wow what are you doing here? Austin right?" She couldn't let him know she had thought about him the rest of the weekend. Austin chuckled she was trying to play it cool but her face gave her away. She was happy to see him he could tell. "Yea I was actually here to see you if you wanted to go to lunch or something." Austin put his hands in his pockets, Niala couldn't help but smile. He did look good, he was wearing a light green polo, kaki cargo shorts and boat shoes with a straw fedora. She smiled, he had that little preppy thing going on. Still she was confused, why would he want to go to lunch with me? Her guard went up. "Um I'm not so sure I had some errands I was going to run during my break." Not that I can't push them aside if I wanted, she thought. This must be about the night in the club he thinks I am easy. "Oh. Well another time like dinner when it's not in the middle of your day?" Austin was hiding his disappointment well he wasn't expecting her to turn him down. He was smart enough to know not to bring up the club and how into him she seemed. What had changed? Niala just couldn't get pass someone who looked like him wanting her. For starters she was black and very curvy, her hair was not strait, and she was not petite. Naila did not want to be a fling for a "frat boy" that just wanted some chocolate. Austin just happened to be admiring that "chocolate" as they stood. She had on deep plum wrap dress she showed how small her waist was. The camel Mary jane's she had on almost made it looked like she had on no shoes, except, how was she so high off the ground? Did this girl have a thing for nude colors, making people look twice? "Auuuustin?" Niala had walked up closer and waved in his face. Was he checking her out? He snapped back to attention he could smile her spicy vanilla scent. "Good, you're still with me. Like I was saying I don't know if that is such a good idea I mean I have a lot of stuff going on you probably don't want to be in the middle of." Like an asshole that can't let it go trying to wiggle back in her life and a child blah blah blah. "You might want to ask Ashley maybe you could take her mind off of Santa, I mean your captain." Niala turned to continue her way onto lunch, Austin lightly grabbed her hand. "Why would I want to try your friend?" Niala shook him off "Because I think she would be more your type." With that she went on her way. What did that mean? Austin was confused and a little annoyed. From hot to cold so fast he thought and what the hell does Santa have to do with this? She didn't know his type he didn't think he really had a type. Although he wasn't quite sure what was driving him to pursue her; he didn't want to think it was just because she was something different. He breathed in her scent of vanilla and spice it was different just like her. After he stood thinking a minute, Austin walked into Niala's building to speak with Ashley. Niala had come back around the corner to see if he had left yet. She saw him walk into her building, and her heart sank a little. "Well I can't be mad he took my advice" she thought out loud. She looked around and a man was staring. "What? Come on I am not the only person who thinks out loud." he began to walk away fast. Niala laughed to herself and went back on her way. "Well if it isn't fireman, where is your captain?" Ashley smiled "Im sure he is at the station, my boy wanted me to pass you this message since I was stopping by to talk to Niala." he took out the paper from his side pocket and handed it to Ashley. "A note? Are we in middle school? She is at lunch right now." She read the note and turned bright red. With her eyes still on the paper she asked "Did you read this?" "No and by the look on your face I am glad I didn't." Austin made a face of disgust. Ash laughed and eyed him "What did you want with La la?" "Lunch...Do you have any post its or something?" After writing a little message he turned to leave. "Can you pass this the Niala?" Austin walked away he didn't want to be seen talking to Ashley for too long if "La la" saw she might get the wrong impression she already had the idea in her head. He had to figure out a way to get to know her, he just knew it could be something good. Austin wanted to get to hang out with her at least once before he had to be back on at the station. He kept picturing her in her wrap dress, her curves, her hair; she looked so soft. ***** "I love you and miss you so much I can't wait to see you Sunday!" She smiled at the phone. Talking to Sean always made her feel better he was 3 and could talk up a storm. "Mommy! Daddy me and Linsey went to the park on Satday, I saw a wadde." Niala tensed and laughed at the same time. Sean's father had recently gotten married. She didn't care about the marriage, she just didn't care for his new wife. She acted like they were in competition, but Niala was not even trying to compete. "You know wadde is my favorite word?" How Sean got wadde from froggy is beyond her. "Yes, its my special word just for me you and daddy." "Okay, I like that, well Mommy's break in almost over I love you let me talk to Daddy, I'll call you later on." "Okay I love you Mommy" She heard him shuffling the phone back to his dad. She went over something's about Sean and then got off the phone. She had her week alone and no one to spend the extra time with. It was kind of sad. Why was it so much easier for men to find people? She thought about Austin, she regretted what she had said at the club. That was no way to start anything. Did he think she was some freak? Is that why he popped up? It had to be, she was sure he just thought she would be some fun. I can find any guy if I just wanted someone to have sex with, she thought. But would they have his eyes she argued, would they make her want to touch herself like he had her doing. Why couldn't she get him out her mind? Maybe there was a way Austin could do talk and she would keep it on a friend level. If he was talking to Ash she would definitely have to. When she walked back into her job, Ashley told her that Austin had stopped by she handed her a piece of paper. She opened it to read, damn he writes better than me."I do want to take you for a ride, not the one you are talking about, just yet, get your mind out the gutter :). He had written his # down. Niala smiled cute I will just text him later she told herself. [Hey this is Niala, r u trying to say I have a dirty mind] Wow she used the number, Are you a dirty girl? [Hey, u were the 1 who tried to seduce me in the club, 2 move like that u have to be a little dirty] I knew it he thinks im a freak! [Ill have u know im a good girl, dancing is just like a show] [Its was a show alright, y don't u give me a chance 2 see the good girl?] To see you period [Cause im trying to figure out y u want 2] plus I don't know how good I can be around you... There was a break between the messages Should I say...[Im attracted and interested, im not trying to eat u] not at first he smirked I wouldn't mind it at this point [Ok, what do you have in mind] A lot, but we can start slow [We can start slow, what are you wearing???][LOL, kidding lunch wed. cool?] she actually laughed out loud [lol, look at u, that's cool im sure you know what time I go since you stalked me] he chuckled [It wasn't stalking it was...tatical admiring lol. Wed it is] [lol ok] An hour later while Naila was getting ready to sleep her phone vibrated [For real what are you wearing?] it was worth a shot, He felt like a pervert I shouldn't have sent that he cursed himself. It was a joke but if she thinks I am just trying to use her, stupid. 2 minutes later [a smile, Nite Austin] and a tank and some shorts but that answer was more fun. ***** Austin met her outside her building across the street like they had Monday. She looked happy to see him, that was a good sign. "So where are we going?" "I was thinking we could start off with something romantic. A little wine, some salads at this French place a couple of blocks away..."Austin was holding in a laugh while Niala was trying not to look displeased. "Oh. ok well that sounds nice..." she tried her best to smile. Im going to have to grab a burger or something on the way back... Austin laughed "Im kidding geez it's just a lunch right? I was thinking Bombay." "Oh my God I love pizza, Bombay is cool" Niala smiled big and her eyes lit a little. Austin chuckled again staring at Niala, she kind of bounced a little with excitement. He saw she breast go up and down. She had on navy slacks, a sheer cream shirt her cream navy trimmed cardigan was open he could see them moving in her bra. Austin had to regroup and focus on her pretty face, her smile could light up a room. "I am such a fat person, to get so excited over food, its just my favorite" "It's nothing fat about you Niala, besides you should be more concerned about going somewhere in public with me. I feel like im under dressed, almost bummy next to you." "Oh please" Niala rolled her eyes. "I wouldn't expect you to put on a suit to go to lunch, you look good." His blue eyes sparkled in the sun, with the topaz flecks they almost looked like they glowed. The light was also bouncing off his low cut hair, he looked like electricity. His light blue button down shirt was tucked into his gray low waist straight shorts. She loved how they hung off his waist almost like his belt was pulling them down but not sagging. She could imagine how sexy his hip bones were underneath. He had on some type of black leather Chucks that looked sleek and kinda dressy. Chucks were her weakness along with legs. His calves were sexy and toned. Oh yea, she smiled to herself. They walked to Bombay Pizza Co. people watching, making each other laugh with observations. Thank God for the fall overcast and thank God they were downtown where breezes whipped around the buildings. They would have both needed a shower had they been somewhere else. "What is something I need to know about you?" Austin asked while they waited. "First things first, don't call me La la, I will begin to plot murder. The only person I let live and do it is Ash and that is just because it could easily be traced back to me. " Austin put his hand over his chest in mock shock "Thats harsh for a nickname." "Its a long story...and it sounds like a bimbo name. I'm 24 I work full time and go to school." "Is that it?" Niala struggled with trying to decided whether to tell him about Sean. She wanted to be upfront she never would want to hide him, she wasn't ashamed. But in today's world you can never be too careful part of it was about protection, who knows someone's motives. Her son was a huge part of her life but still she felt she would keep it to herself, until she felt Austin out. This maybe the last time they talk. "Most things to know about me you learn as you go those are the basics. I wouldn't want to run down a list of all about me. Wait I know something you should know about me, immediately, I love to dance!" She smiled big. Damn she has a beautiful smile Austin mused. "Oh, that I know, first hand. You almost made me have an accident on the dance floor" Niala blushed "Like you didn't know what you were doing. All eyes were on you, Vixen" "Vixen huh? I really wasn't paying attention, dance to me, I can do it like no one is there, just me and the music. It has always been that way. I can always dance like I have all the confidence in the world, I can perform." "Like, you have all the confidence in the world?" Austin was skeptical. "I'm really self conscious...so enough about me" Niala put her head down and focused on the pizza the waiter just brought, his look was so intense in a second she would start checking herself or messing with her hair to make she it was ok. "I couldn't tell, I don't think you realize the outer picture doesn't match the inner self conscious. And what you said..." "Let me just say that was the alcohol talking, don't judge me. Now, back to you." They weren't going to go down that road Austin could tell she didn't want to talk about it so he dropped it. "Well I'm a fireman" Niala smirked. I'm 27 I live alone. I'm pretty laid back. Also I'm obsessed with this one chick who seems to be playing with my emotions." Niala almost threw a her crust at him. "Oh really, your emotional? I read you as one of those manly men. You know the ones that adhere to the bro code." Austin had to laugh, hard. He had heard he was very masculine, some had even said dominate. "I guess you can say that, I am no chauvinist though. I definitely like when a woman can make me feel like a man." Niala liked to her that, she was all about letting a guy be the guy. "But like you said, I think people should learn as they go, through conversation and hanging out. Honestly if you had a list about yourself that would be a turn off." He stated looking up at her, that was such a turn on she thought. Lunch went well as they talked and ate. Nothing really deep it was a first lunch. Niala had to put her head down from Austin's gaze he was making her nervous. Ok so he was attracted to her, she had to admit it was flattering, he was gorgeous. As they walked back to her job, she talked about little spots she discovered working around the area she loved to walk and explore. Austin thought it was so cute she would get excited about what she enjoyed. The way she did when she spoke of dance and pizza. He kept slipping two paces behind her periodically to watch her walk in her slacks. Damn she was sexy. Before he left her he asked when they would see each other again. She smiled and said that she would see. Austin called out as she turned to go into the building. "Wait, can I ask you something"? He hadn't wanted to bring it up eating, but it was buzzing in the back of his head. Niala nodded. "Why did you push me towards Ashley?" Niala sighed. "I don't know maybe she was more of your type what you are use to? Look I know I don't really know you but I just never thought I guy that looked like you, would talk to someone who looked like me. I'm different, Ash is an All American girl guys usually flock to her." "I didn't stalk Ashley, Niala . If that's what I wanted I would have gone after her." Austin was staring at her again. This time Niala couldn't look away she stared into his blue eyes, they were so intense. "W-What do you want with me Austin? Why did you come after me?" "Don't sell yourself short, I know you are different. It's not a bad thing. I want to get to know you, I want to find out why you keep popping up in my head. And, later I want a private dance," His face that was so serious broke into a mischievous grin. Niala was glad his change in expression, she was getting caught up. She managed a shy smile. " You have your chance, as for the dance we can see where this goes." With that she continued in the building. Austin was watching her walk, he always did. It was effortless like she wasn't trying. A chance is all I need he told himself. ***** Niala tried to look normal walking back in Ash gave her a look and she just smiled big. "OOO well well well how was lunch? "It was cool" Niala was refusing to face her, Ash wasn't buying it. "Just cool?" "Yes..." Then why do you have that dreamy look?" Ashley questioned "I have got to work on my poker face." Niala shook her head. "Yea, might need to get on that. Cause I could swear your about to break into song." "I do not look that bad. " "Please, you do and not just any song, one of those cheesy Disney songs. I know, 'A Whole New World' from Aladdin." "Ha, you got me. But you are telling on yourself at the same time. You pulled that out the air too quick. You probably watched it last night. " Niala raised an eyebrow. "Touché, ill stop teasing" Ash mocked looking ashamed and put her head down. They went back to work Niala knew that Austin would be in a lot of the thoughts that ran through her mind. She was still unsure about him though. How could he not have a motive? He had looked good in his jeans, white v-neck, and red Chucks. God, Chuck Taylors were her weakness. So simple so sexy, she liked a man with style. ***** Austin couldn't stop picturing Niala in her shirt, in the light he could see the outline underneath how her waist curved in and began to flare out right above her hips. Her slacks fit her perfect they hugged her bottom she probably had to wear a thong anything more would cause a line. She seems like the type that wouldn't tolerate that. She was so cute he felt like he was in school and wanted to hold her hand. Then he felt like a man and wouldn't to hold her close, trace her curves. He had to calm down, he couldn't let his thoughts drive him crazy. Austin was not at a loss when it came to women. He had a couple of "friends" he knew he could call. He had really just been taking it easy enjoying being single. This girl, woman, she kept creeping in his mind, he barely knew her. Lunch was good, he hadn't actually talked to a woman like that in a while. He and his "friends" didn't do much talking. It seemed like it was something she was leaving out. He figured he would find out in time if he wanted to pursue this, whatever it was. She seemed reluctant; a slower pace was ok for now Austin told himself. Under the surface he could feel himself starting to crave her. He kept her in the back of his mind the rest of the day, and at night she appeared in his dreams. She had on her sheer cream shirt but the slacks were gone. She was sitting on a bed talking excited about something, he didn't know what. He just kept smiling and listening until he couldn't take it anymore he pulled her shirt over her head they way her skin looked against the lace cream bra, like milk and honey. Austin breathed deep kissing down her neck pushing her back on the bed. His fingers traced her curves like her wanted to do as they walked from lunch. She was looking up at him when he pulled away still tracing her body with his finger tips. Her on her back, him on his side propped up in his elbow he could feel her slight shivers while his fingers moved. She giggled it was so like her, she was ticklish. When he reached the top of her lace thong she stopped, her eyes still playful but something else, lust? He trace the apex of her inner thigh and she moaned. So sweet her voice sounded like a song it was soft if there was other noise that he wouldn't have heard. Her center was so hot his mouth watered with anticipation he just knew it was pretty. He traced his fingers down the slit lightly. Her hips bucked a little trying to push more pressure. Just as he was about to pull her bottoms down, he woke to his alarm. Austin almost threw the clock across the room. Shit that was a good dream, his dick was so hard it was almost painful. Like in all his dreams never close to what he really wanted from her. How could he take it slow when he had dreams like this? Austin began to stroke himself down as he as he replayed the dream, her sounds so sweet like she was almost there. He came picturing her smile with her eyes closed. False Alarm Ch. 03 ***** "So I heard you went out with Foxy" Josh said as he kicked some gravel. This morning they went running together before they went back in on for one of the longer rotations at the fire house. Austin stopped drinking his smoothie; he liked Memorial Park because of the trails and the Smoothie King's close location. "How did you hear that? So I guess 'Foxy's' friend and you have actual conversations? I see your little messaged worked. I figured you were just trying to hit that" he raised an eyebrow. "And I am, she is trying to keep it classy, make me wait. She is not bad company so the waiting is not that bad. Plus I get little rewards when she feels guilty about getting me all riled up. The crazy thing is after that I still wanted to talk to her go figure?" Josh shook his head. Austin laughed loud. "Rewards, sound like treats? You really are a hound. Maybe it is because you like her?" "Maybe I like that rack more? She's cool too though-but- back to Foxy I KNOW you are trying to hit that" Josh's eyebrows went up and down fast. "She is sexy, with her dangerous curves. But she has innocence too that doesn't match with it, not like a virgin. It's like she doesn't know she looks like a walking sex kitten. I am not sure what I want to do yet I know I want to continue to hang out though." He down played his feelings for his boy. Austin wanted to do more than hang. She was so different, not what he expected. He wanted her and he was beginning to like her even more. But he would keep that information to himself. He knew Josh's mouth went a mile a minute and with him messing with her friend. He figured he shouldn't say too much "If I were you, it wouldn't be a question of what I wanted...those long legs wrapped around my waist." Austin punched his arm. "Watch it." he said with a smile "For someone so unsure, you sure are jealous." Josh rubbed his arm. "She is a friend, and cool. I can't have her sullied in your pornographic mind" Austin shrugged. "Too late for that man, you forget we were at the same club." They both laughed. ***** At was Thursday afternoon Naila was walking through Mid-town after work. She loved it because it reminded her of being in a city that you didn't need a car. Houston wasn't a place to not have a car. Even though it was hot she still enjoyed the walk. After being in a freezing office building all day the first couple of minutes outside always felt good; she loved the sun on her skin. Until the sweat came, it was time to exit into a café with Wi-Fi to do some homework. She tried to concentrate on her paper but the foundations of psychology and how they can be related to modern society wasn't very interesting. This is why she hated first dates, the good and bad. She hated the time after waiting for the call or text. If it went well, she hated the hope that builds up. The idea of hey this could really turn into something. Now she was falling into infatuation, Austin was in the front of her thoughts. She was taken out of her day dream by her phone's vibrate. He must be psychic too, she couldn't help but smile. [I really had a great time at lunch with u the other day] One day is long enough wait right? He had to wait that day to text [With me or my shirt, or my boobs in my shirt? :)] Ah so you noticed...so did you take off the sweater on purpose?[>:D both, and I would like 2 see u both again] [lol well they are attached, but that's cool I wouldn't mind seeing u again] I would really like to see you. And I wouldn't mind if you wore another sheer shirt again, down boy [Cool, lunch or a movie? tomorrow or this weekend?] [I think the movie is cool there is something I wanted to see...I get to pick right lol] Is this a trick question? [LOL only bad things can come from that, but I guess since I am trying to win you over.] I'm already over... [U assume it will be a chick flick, now I wont tell u till we get there] [I like surprises...cool see you this weekend] False Alarm Ch. 04 Hello again. I had 2 people who I appreciate so much look over this. Can I shout you guys out? Only if I did good/better? LOL I hope you know I appreciate the time you took and don't get mad at me if I still am missing something. To answer some questions, she is not me but we have a lot of similarities. I think everything I write has a piece of me or comes from an experience. Aside from my personal poetry and thoughts I write, she is the closest fictional character to me. I wish I did have an Austin, ha. I do think I will go back and edit the others at some point. I hope you enjoy, Feedback is always appreciated, thanks guys :D ***** It was a warm day outside. The Texas fall heat was being tapered by hurricane season. It was a blessing when storms coming in from the coast, pushed the clouds their way. Windy breezes would give relief from the unforgiving sun. It was actually nice to be outside for once. Niala and Austin were leaning against his truck at a snowball stand, on 20th street. The Heights was a quaint part of the city. There were consignment shops and little boutiques that lined 20th. With business's built into row houses, that were mixed in with actual residences. Niala loved the small town feel of the area. "Tell me about being a fire fighter, what is it really like?" Niala turned to face Austin, she looked like a child as she took a huge bite of her snow ball. Her nose scrunched up reacting to it's coldness. "Brain freeze?" Austin had to laugh. She looked so sexy, but still had the ability to look innocent. He was looking at her lips that had turned cherry red from her snow cone. The edges of her lips were still pink but the center was crimson. He felt a strong urge to kiss her and almost lost his thought. "It's not all running into burning buildings like on TV; I've been to more car accidents then fires. Not to say they don't happen, it's just every day is not burning building after burning building. " He looked around at the people going about their day. Niala was relieved. She didn't even realize it was making her anxious. The thought of him in constant danger made her nervous and she barely knew him. "First responders" She wondered aloud. Austin nodded. "Sometimes we get calls for the dumbest shit too. This actually called, 911 saying she had a fire emergency. As it turned out something was burning on her stove, just smoke." He chuckled "Then, let's not forget the false alarms in office buildings". A grin spread on Niala's face. "Hey! If it wasn't for that we wouldn't be together, as friends," She added at the end. She focused on the syrup juice running down her fingers, licking them to avoid Austin's face. The sight was not lost on him. "Yeah I'm glad I came inside, I almost didn't." He smiled knowing she was avoiding his eyes. She clearly didn't realize how sexy she looked licking her fingers."It's not all fun though I have seen some shit." His face changed from the joking look it had before. He had seen mangled bodies at accidents and charred remains. Police were not the only ones that had to see gruesome things. Niala noticed his face but didn't want to pry, maybe one day he would share his deeper parts with her. She caught herself thinking of a future with Austin. Maybe they could be together, as more than friends. Instead of thinking herself out of it, she just let it pass through her head like the many thoughts she never pursued. "Don't get quiet on me, now." Austin noticed she seemed stuck in a day dream; he had gotten lost in his thoughts as well. He didn't want to scare her away. He always thought that people had to have some kind of coldness in them, to be unaffected by some of the things he had seen. She seemed so carefree, he didn't want to burden her with those thoughts. "I was just thinking," "About?" "Just thinking. Anyway, as much as I would like to continue ,I think it's time we head to the theater" She checked her shirt for red syrup. Austin checked himself as well, after taking both cups and throwing them away. "Who said I was done?" she laughed, knowing what was coming. "Riiight, you were clearly done; especially if you are getting back in my truck, sticky fingers. "You wouldn't let me finish in your precious truck if I wasn't? Would you make me walk? And then, would have to walk alone? "Of course not, I'm a gentleman. I'd drive next to you. On your way to a convenience store where you could get some wet wipes." Austin smiled, and his eyes lit up. Niala shook her head. "Oh I see, your one of 'those" guys. Sooo I guess if rubbed these last drops on your fiiiine leather interior..." She made a break for the door laughing as Austin blocked it. He then chased her around the truck. They faced off at either side, Austin looked like a lion stalking his prey. He sprinted around so fast; Niala had no chance in her espadrille wedges. It ended with him catching her by the waist. He breathed in her scent of vanilla and spice. Sweet and different just like her he could breathe it in all day. Niala was breathing hard and laughing. When she looked up she knew she was in trouble by the way Austin was looking at her. His breath was rough and not from a quick sprint around his trunk. Austin took a step closing the gap between them. Niala's eyes were going from his eye to his lips; she just noticed their slight fullness. They were so close all she had to do was tilt her head up to meet them. Instead she turned to look away. "Yea, like I was saying we need to get to the theater. I think you will like what I picked, it's full of testosterone." She smile, trying to make light of the electricity that was floating in the air since they touched. Austin's hands were reluctant to leave her waist. Even through her clothes he could tell she was soft. The light material rose with his hand, then fell softly against her curves when he released her. He had wanted to put hands back on her waist since they danced. During the movie Austin was itching to rub Niala's thighs. Even in the dark theater, the seemed to glow from the lights coming from the screen. Her shorts inched up her legs as she sat down. They looked so smooth. His eyes had been on them since she got back in the truck. The movie was action packed, a comic book brought to life. He was completely surprised she wanted to see it. But now there was no real reason to get close. Ironically ,Austin found himself wishing she had picked something sappy or even a horror flick. His temperature had risen after their game of catch at the truck and it never quite simmered down. This girl really got him going and she wasn't even trying. All he had to go on were dreams. Dreams of how she would feel with no soft fabric between her and his fingers. Dreams of the faces she might make, her sounds of pleasure. He found himself wondering if her voice would stay soft or would it grow husky matching her sensuous body. He had no doubt what would be waiting for him when he closed his eyes that night. Her honey brown thighs twisted in some position he would want to put them in. Even though his dreams were sweet torture, he couldn't deny his excitement of having more to add to his fantasies. "Sooo did you like it? I didn't see hardly any sappy, lovey dovey anything in there. I should have bet you something" Niala smiled she knew she had won. They were leaving the theater, walking down the corridor of the Mar*qe entertainment complex. Neither one of them was ready to go their separate ways. "Yea yea yea nobody likes a trash talker-well-in some cases..." Austin turned red. His mind was running wild. He had to remind himself to take it slow. "Cases like?" She looked genuinely curious, but in her head she knew where Austin's thoughts were "Sports..." He shoved his hands in his pockets to keep them to himself. They walked to the truck and talked about the movie on the ride home. When Austin got to her building she gave him a quick kiss on his cheek, when he opened her door to let her out. It felt like someone had softly brushed silk against his cheek. It took a lot of self control not to pull her back into him. He spent the ride home replaying their chase, she was so carefree. He hadn't actually played with a girl like that in a while. It was refreshing to be with someone that could let loose. Most women he encountered were too concerned with being prissy. There was no pressure; he could just relax around her. Her scent still lingered in his truck, but he didn't mind. He liked the reminder she had been there. ***** "Maybe after the park we can go get pizza?" "I agree!" Sean felt the same way she did about pizza. Naila was on her week with Sean she hadn't seen Austin since the Movies though they talked and texted. He was working and she, of course wasn't available. Her not always having time hadn't come up yet. Niala was just waiting for that shoe to drop. Austin's on and off again schedule made it less noticeable...for the time being. She ran in the park with Sean chasing her, she would slow down to let him get close then pick up speed again before she let him catch her finally. They rolled in the grass laughing. It was a nice Fall Saturday, they were taking advantage. She and Sean were in Herman park making their way towards the children's play area. Niala was glad she had the weekend to have time for just them. As they passed the reflection pool something seemed to catch Sean's attention. Niala figured it was one of the many duck milling around or the people in the paddle boats. If only she were so lucky. "Hey look mommy Sam! Can he come play too?" Niala spun around. This can't be happening, she groaned out loud like a child. Sean ran Sam's direction. Niala gently grabbed his arm and hoped Sam hadn't noticed them. This city is too big to for this MF to be at this park and with HER! Niala raged silently. When her son was around she didn't even curse in her head. But she feared she would not be able to control her tongue if Sam came over. "Wow mommy that lady's stomach is BIG. Do you think she has a baby in there? Like when you had me?" Kids always know what to say don't they, Niala mused. "Yea sweetie I know, it's a baby in there." She hoped she wasn't making a face at Sean, it wasn't his fault. What kind of was his fault was Sam making his way over, if he hadn't run... No, she couldn't blame him for that one either. Sam was jogging to catch up with them. He looked like he was on his way to a nice family picnic. His light kaki linen shorts and burnt sienna polo, went well against his dark brown skin. Even with clothes on the definition of his muscles could be seen. His shoulders were broad he was built like a running back. The waves in his Caesar hair cut were gleaming in the sun. Niala took a deep breath, he did look good she couldn't deny that. At that moment she regretted ever letting Sean meet Sam. Trying to push him out her life was complicated because he worked in her building. Sean met him at a picnic Sam's firm had. She and Ashley got invited to even though they didn't exactly work for them. After seeing how good Sam was with Sean she let Sam come around more. It was almost like if she got serious with Sam, they could be a family, maybe. Thank goodness Sean just knew him as Mommy's co-worker, but he liked Sam. He still thought of Sam as a friend; regardless if mommy wanted nothing to do with him anymore. This is why she didn't bring men around her child! "Hey big man, are you taking care of your mommy?" Sean loved that, the thought of being his mommy's protector. "Yes!" Sean smiled big, he had her smile. Niala couldn't help but beam at him. When she met Sam's eyes though, the beaming faded fast. "Aw don't be like that Nia-" She cut him off "I see you are here with the 'family' "she actually did the quotation fingers. "It's not what you think! Her parents invited me. They will be our child's grandparents I don't want a bad relationship with them". "You don't have to tell me Sam, I know all about that type of situation,'' She motioned to Sean. He had gone to the jungle jim to play with another boy . "Another thing you don't have to explain, because it's no longer my business, is the kissing I saw." She was not mad about that, it was not about jealousy. It was about showing him how wrong he was. Sam went a little pale even with his shade of brown. He rubbed the back of his head. "This is so complicated Nia. I am in between a rock and a hard place. I'm being pulled in two directions, she is the mother of my child. But, I didn't want this situation for us. I didn't want you and I to be in this, or like this either. I am so confused but I don't want to lose you." Niala wasn't looking at him she had a sharp eye on Sean and another boy he was playing with. They looked like they were pretending to be super heroes. She wished she could've pretended to be something else too. If she could have been a super hero right at that moment, she would have the power to control time. Sam and Sean would've never met; hell she and Sam would've never met. She hated to admit it hurt just a little, but it did. "I mean it when I say I want to marry you-" "How dare you?! You just kissed her and now you are in my face saying you want to marry me? Why don't you go tell her that then!? You are two faced, what we had is over. I don't know what you are telling her but I'm sure it's not y'all won't be together." She had to calm herself down; Sean was running back over looking concerned. "Remember this: I am not pulling you, if anything I'm pushing you away. I think you better make your way back over; she is giving me 'The Face' right now. I don't want to cause any trouble. " Sam got close to her ear so Sean wouldn't hear. "So sorry, baby. I know I hurt you, but you drive me crazy, I want you all the time. Seeing you every day is so hard for me. What I want so close, you have no idea." "Too bad Sam, that sounds like a personal problem. I can't wait for you to choose, Hell I don't want to. If you're feelings are how you say they are, then it shouldn't be a question. Trust me, I know the situation. You should try for your family, forget about me. She turned to Sean and smiled "Mommy is ok sweetie. Lets go ask your friend if he wants to play tag with us." "Is Sam gonna come play too?" She shook her head "No Bae, I don't think he can come play anymore, not now I mean." Sam watched as she ran away. Her long legs leading up to the shorts that fit her right. What man can just forget that? ***** Over the next couple of months Austin and Niala kept it cool. As cool as it could be with unspoken sexual tension in the air, when they were together. Niala was allowing Austin into her personal space. He had taken to playing in her hair which drove her crazy. Pulling the curls watching them spring back into place. Austin couldn't remember the last time he wanted to be around someone as much as Niala. And Niala couldn't remember wanting someone as bad. They had done another lunch, dinner, another movie and then a night out for drinks with live music. It was there they discovered they had some similar taste in music. Austin was a little surprised to see she liked alternative and rock, along with a bunch of other genres. The band did a cover of The Black Keys 'Tighten up'. Niala knew all the words. She laughed at Austin's shock and told him she couldn't be put in a box. Austin threatened to take her to karaoke. He looked at her for a moment. She had on a dark mint colored shirt that had a slight scoop at the neck. Even though it clung loosely to her body, the shirt looked very conservative from the front. The back was almost completely out; her skin looked smooth against the creamy green color. Austin found his hands itching to touch her again. She had on tight distressed black straight leg jeans and black pointed toe pumps. Niala had her curls pinned up both sides making it look like a curly faux hawk. The red tips of her hair stood out even more. She looked like she could have walked out a rock video. She turned heads when they walked in. He put his arm around her as if to say, she's taken. To the outside they were a cute eclectic couple. He was dressed in a black Audioslave tee that stretched against his broad chest. His jeans hung low on his hips, and his thigh muscles underneath were evident. Niala found herself wondering what he looked like without the shirt, did his hips have those ken doll cuts? His heavy studded belt gave him a cowboy quality. Black boots, a leather wrist band rounded out his look. He was always well put together. If he didn't ooze straight man, the amount of style he had would be a question. When Niala looked up at him, his eyes stood out against the dark colors. They looked like the ocean at sunrise, gold flecks reflecting off the deep blue. Niala saw the women eyeing him too, but she wasn't as bold to grab his belt buckle like this is all mine right here. They were just friends right? He smiled at her "I have a request, stay here" He walked over to the band. Niala looked after him curiously. "What did you request?" She asked when he made it back to her. "I don't know if you know it, it's a little indie rock/pop, funk maybe? It makes me think of you..." The band started the playing a sort of psychedelic melody . It had that old feel to it but new at the same time. "I can dig it, almost feel like I should do the hustle" Niala joked while she started to do some old school dances. "Well you kinda have the hair, you know the Afro-"Austin caught the look on her face "Call it an afro I'll have to hurt you. " "I wasn't! Calling it a hair style which cannot be named...it's just big too; big and sexy... I love your hair... You know what, just listen to the words." The words were not coming out right, and he knew when to quit. She wasn't serious but, he noticed she was sensitive about her hair. At that moment she has started pulling at her curls. He sighed as the band finally started to cover MGMT's "Electric Feel": All along the western front People line up to receive She got the current in her hand Just shock you like you won't believe Saw her in the Amazon With the voltage running through her skin Standing there with nothing on She gonna teach me how to swim I said ooh girl Shock me like an electric eel Baby girl Turn me on with your electric feel "What's the name of this song?" Niala pulled out her phone to google the lyrics. "Hhhmm I like it, I'm your Amazon electric girl?" Niala smirked she started swaying her hips easy to the beat while Austin was enjoying the view. "Yea kinda, something like that," he turned to face her. Austin's eyes had changed and she swallowed. He must know what he does when he looks like that, she thought. "You don't feel it when we are close?" Austin got up closer to her; he started off subtle, playing in her hair again. Then he traced his fingers down the back of her neck. "When we touch?" Austin asked, it was almost a whisper. Niala tensed under the touch, a soft sigh escaped her lips that she hoped Austin couldn't hear. "Yea I feel it..." she said softly, biting her lip. She closed her eyes and tilted her hair back. Those were her spots, her hair and her neck. He was sending shivers down her spine. She wondered if someone was watching them now. His hands continued down her back, bare except for two black chains and a bra strap going across. When he reached the bottom where the shirt gathered, she opened her eyes to look at Austin. She shook her head and smiled his eyes were low and he had this hungry look. She turned away and took a step back creating space between them. Austin stepped away looking a little annoyed, shaking his head too. It seemed like every time they were getting close, Niala would pull away. False Alarm Ch. 04 He looked delicious. She had to pull away or she was going to eat him. ***** Austin was trying to figure out what she was hiding, he noticed their meetings were spaced out. He was starting to wonder if she had a boyfriend. At first he didn't notice because of how on and off he was at his job. But when his next long off rotation came up when he had all the free time in the world, for a full week Niala was unavailable. They were technically just friends so Austin felt he didn't have the right to pry. Plus questioning a woman about things like that seems like it broke the man law. He was no pussy...maybe a little pussy whipped? Hell no! Niala could hear disappointment in Austin's voice when she had to break their, their date? No. Chill session? Their whatever. Austin had been picking everything she had declared it was her turn. She decided to make up something; a dessert date at the Chocolate Bar in Rice Village. Instead, she was going to have to take something to Sean. She had forgotten about his little preschool project. Sean's dad said they needed it in the morning and she had to go to work. She staying to help complete it. Austin would have probably been more understanding if he knew the real reason. She hadn't planned on keeping Sean from Austin this long, he needed to know. After the whole incident at the park she felt she needed to completely shield Sean. She knew that, it was no excuse for keeping such a big part of her life from Austin. But she felt, in a way Sam used Sean to get on her good side. Hearing him talk about kids and seeing how good he was with Sean made her lower her guard a little. She didn't want to let guards down with Austin. She wanted him bad enough as it was and that was making it hard enough. He was so, so gorgeous to her and probably to a bunch of other's too. No, things would just continue as they were. Austin was like no one she had ever dated. This was different and last time she went out of a limb she got burned. So now she was taking no chances. That didn't mean a girl couldn't dream. The last one she pictured Austin on top of her, while she laid on her stomach. She could literally feel his weight on her. She almost looked back to see if he was behind her, his body snaking its way up and down while his hips moved in a circle. She could tell he had some type of skill from when they were dancing. Her imagination was getting out of hand. Austin was trying to be cool but couldn't help feel a little jealous and confused. She was breaking their date to be what another guy? Ok more than a little jealous. But what could he really say? They were friends and it didn't matter that in his dreams they were lovers. They hadn't kissed for real since the club. This is backwards he thought, you don't go from sizzling hot to cold. A lamer guy would question himself, he smirked. Not a chance in hell, this was him not some other random guy. Honey could just be trying to keep her options open because I haven't made a move. Things are about to come to some head- a head- at some point. She does have pretty lips though. They were so soft when we kissed, he thought. Austin groaned. Something has got to give. Maybe Josh is up to hitting Washington Ave. Maybe he could find someone to keep his options open as well. ****** Niala didn't get home until almost 10. She was all wound up and needed to wash the paint and glue off her body. She didn't want to think of going to work if all the paint and glue was not out. She had stopped to get food and got looks from the people in the place. It could have been the little red hands prints on her butt courtesy of Sean. His dad, Rory joked and said her ass was always red hot. Then his wife came in and gave him a look. Niala hoped her face didn't show the shock and humor she was thinking. Gosh men could be so dumb; at that point she excused herself to go home. No need to be in the middle of that. She could hear Lindsey starting in on Rory, as she burned holes into Niala's back. "Why are you even thinking about her body Rory? That comment was out of line!" It had taken half a year to convince the woman she didn't want him. She was not about to get into some fight triangle because he was an idiot. Niala still was wide awake and restless after her shower. Of course her thoughts went straight to Austin. No we can't cross that line she told herself. It had been 5 months and her "lady" was beginning to get fed up. Like it had eyes of its own and could see her spending time with Austin. Like it was wondering why she had this beautiful man in front of her, NOT doing him. Every little thing was making her tingle. The last time they were together when he hugged her goodbye it was a long one, he held her for a moment. Their bodies were pressed together it felt so right. Between her legs it felt like someone was banging on a bolted door. She swore she could literally feel the throb, like they would knock her forward if she weren't pressed against him. The banging was so hard she quickly backed up thinking he could feel it too. Fear had her not wanting to move fast she knew how something that seemed right could just fall apart. She could not take it to that level with Austin. Her thoughts then went to Sam. He was supposed to be off limits but she could use him real fast right? She would just regret it in the morning... ***** He was running his hands up the smooth curve of her ass, he couldn't believe she had agreed to let him come by. This was just what he needed to release all the tension from seeing her and not getting what he wanted so badly. He took her nipple in her mouth she moaned and began fall backward on the bed her legs splayed as an invitation. Compared to her he was practically fully dressed, he threw his belt to the floor. Letting his pants fall he was left in just boxer briefs. This was going to be a fun tease. He started at her neck kissing his way down; he stopped to show her breast more attention. She began to breathe deep, his hand played with her left nipple as he sucked on the right. He kissed her stomach she arched her back. It was like she had been waiting for this too. He pushed her back down flat. Then he slipped a finger inside. she was so wet! He began to pump slowly adding another finger. He glanced up. He could see her curls spread on the pillow as she turned her head back and forth. She was going wild, she could feel his cock on her leg, it felt thick and pretty long. Jackpot! She mused to herself. Her small hand reached to grab it but he moved. She looked down into his blue eyes. There was a cocky look on his face. She began to buck her hips moving them closer to his face. His expression changed into a frown. His thumb begin to rub her clit, almost sending her over the edge. "Austin!" He sighed, "This could be better... if your voice were softer " Her breathing slowed down; she had to make sure she heard him correct. "Excuse me?" "Oh shit! Did I say that out loud?" Austin had a look of 'I just fucked up'. "Are you saying my voice is too deep? Are you saying I sound like a man?! The girl shrieked. "No Destiny, calm down I was just thinking aloud. Not about you, uh, how do I say this? I was thinking of someone with a softer voice" Austin shook his head. I just keep putting my foot in my mouth. "You are telling me while your fingers were in MY vagina you were thinking of ANOTHER female?!" Destiny looked incredulous. "Look, this was a bad idea. Maybe I should go." Austin was backing away looking for all his belongings. She looked like she was about to explode. "YOU ASSHOLE!" She began looking for his stuff too, so that she could throw it. "I promised I'm not that big an asshole, I am kinda going through—look its not you." "You know, I thought I would have at least have gotten to get the dick before I heard this speech!" Destiny sounded like a banshee. Austin practically ran from Destiny's apartment. The girl he had ran into at 360 was an old acquaintance, they had flirted but never did anything. She wasn't a stranger so he felt she could occupy his time. Austin had to laugh, so much for taking his mind off Niala. The girl even had curly hair, he just noticed that. She wasn't a carbon copy but they had similarities. She was a little lighter skinned than Niala, she wasn't black. Though she was curvy and then the hair. But no, it wasn't the real thing. Not even close, he couldn't believe what just happened. He couldn't believe what he had said. Nothing was smooth about that. He hadn't run from a girl's house since college. Niala was slowly driving him crazy. They needed to talk. He found himself wanting more of her, more of her time, more of everything. [Are you sleep?] False Alarm Ch. 05 I had alot of feedback that I commented on the last chapter. I don't want any confusion Niala and Austin have only known each other for 3 or 3 1/2 months. Thanks for reading I hope you enjoy. Feedback is always appreciated, thanks guys :D ***** Niala couldn't contain her pleasant mood as she walked from the parking garage. It always felt good when you see a call or message, from the person you woke up thinking about. Most of the people he passed had the Monday face, she was all smiles. It seemed like she hadn't felt that way in forever. It was genuine; instead of text, she would call to hear his deep voice. "Good morning" "Morning, you sound happy" Austin was napping at the station; his voice was even deeper than normal. He sounded like a sexy bear. She was happy as soon as she saw the text from him that morning. She felt like a tween. "I got your text when I woke up. I figured I would just give you a call. What was up last night?" "I just had a lot on my mind, but I'm glad I had the chance to sleep on it" Lest he sound like on of those sensitive males crying on the phone. Austin had started to tell her everything last night. Including the other girl, leading up to the point he realized she was all he really wanted. While tipsy, telling her sounded like a good idea. Then he almost slapped sense into himself. This was not a lifetime movie. "Oh, ok. So what do you have planned for the week? "I'm back on rotation; that's why I was hoping I got to see you before I came back. Maybe you should stop by the station?" Did he just ask her to come by the station? Maybe sleeping on it really didn't do any good after all. "I know. We'll have to make up that date. It was a good one. I don't know if I wanna walk into the lion's den, are they all like you and Josh? Mainly, Josh, that boy is more wolf than lion." She giggled "I'll protect you from the wolves. Only problem is who will protect you from me?" In for a dime, in for a dollar Austin mused. "I'll let you know." She was smiling so big her cheeks hurt. "Cool cause I really want to talk to you, I kinda miss you..." There was a pause. Wow, he felt like he was naked out there. The seconds dragged by. They felt like minutes. Maybe he should have kept that to himself. "I kinda miss you too, and I also have something to talk to you about." The station meant, that he wanted her to meet people in his life. It wasn't parents, but meeting the people a guy worked with still seemed pretty important. She had heard Units were like a family anyway. He is being so open with her. She needed to tell him about Sean. If she was being honest with herself, she should have told him weeks ago. She had never gone that long without telling someone. She would do it there since he was being so personal with her. There she would share the most important thing in her life too. She just hoped she hadn't messed things up, by letting her issues get in the way. ***** At the front desk, the girls' conversation ended up on the firemen. Ash chatted away about "Santa" and Josh. Niala tried not to be grossed out and supportive instead. "Why do you have that look on your face? You act like Santa is not attractive. You said he looked good for his age when you first saw him. You even said you had a semi Santa crush." Ashley sounded like a little offended. "Please stop calling him that; it's starting to get disturbing." Ashley made a face as Niala continued. "Ash he did look good for his age; but you must keep in mind that I have a child. Furthermore, I apparently I am more normal than you because Santa Claus crush for me, meant something totally different. To me, Santa crush means: jolly, white hair, white beard, tall, and round belly shaking like a bowl full of jelly." Niala counted them out on each finger for effect. "Hence, the semi because he does not have that jelly belly. I'd like the guy because he would remind of Santa. Most of the time it's a sweet older man, looked at in a grandfatherly way. You have perverted it, it. You to screw Santa!" The both laughed. "Why don't you go for Josh anyway? At At least, would be able to be around most of your life? I thought y'all were hanging out/messing around." Niala didn't agree totally, but she thought Ash was having fun. Ashley looked off to the side. Niala knew that meant she was trying to hide her face. She actually started liking Josh, the one thing she said she wouldn't do. He was so much fun. Ashley had hoped once he saw she was too and that she was serious. He would be more willing to settle down. She looked back at Niala, her poker face in place. Or so she thought. "We are, but he is still trying to be the ladies' man. When I finally did break down and have sex with him, I thought he would take things to the next level. Nope. I went through his phone...I'm not the only one. That is why I should go with Santa, he probably has gotten it out of his system." "Ash you never go through the phone. That's begging for trouble. You don't think Santa travels around at night leaving gifts to all the naughty girls? There might be other women, sick as you some. You know people have grandpa fetishes. They want to ride his sleigh too; maybe they even dress up like a reindeer." Niala grinned; Ashley threw a post-it pad at her. At least, she smiled. "Either way I believe that Josh and I have gone as far as it can go. On the other head does have a big penis. I might just keep him around for that for a while." Niala knew how Ashley could act like she didn't care. They were both proud of that talent. In the three years Niala had known Ashley they bonded over many things; one was the opinions they shared about dating. When cutting someone off you had to be cold. Exterior hard, but she also knew inside where feelings you never late out. It was like with her and Sam. Outside she wasn't giving him the time of day. Inside he could still get under her skin, whether she wanted him or not. So she knew Ash wasn't as nonchalant as she was saying. "If he is not giving you what you want, don't keep him around too long." Niala said knowingly. "Now I need to work on my poker face." Ash muttered. She turned her back to Niala again and began updating the contact spreadsheet. "Anyway I brought them up because Miko said share the wealth. " "What wealth? You have a playboy, and I don't know what I am doing with Austin." Niala rolled her eyes. Ashley sighed "I don't know, I guess we are still doing better than her?" "Let's not even go there. You and Miko are similar with how you guys keep things casual...supposedly." "I don't know. Austin and Josh have cute friends maybe we should hook her up?" "I don't see how all of us dating/talking to guys in the same group can turn out well. This is not TV. Don't look at me like that." Ash was making a face. " I'm just saying if it ends bad we are in the middle." Ash was still making the face. "Fine, fine you talk to Heffner, I'll talk to Austin." "You think we could triple date?" "Don't go there." ***** Little decisions that people make may affect more than they realize. That afternoon Niala picked up Sean. They did their bi-weekly trip to the store replacing things that had run out. Mainly, his fruit snacks Niala couldn't keep herself from eating. She also got the extras for whatever she could think to cook that week. Store trips were fun; they talked, Sean basket surfed down the ailse. Niala decided to stop at the store closer to her job and Sean's preschool. That way she wouldn't have to deal with him being grumpy, from the car induced nap he always took. She didn't notice the fire truck on the other side of the building. It was hidden from the entrance she used. The store was huge, larger than a regular store. She liked it because it had a great variety. If she wanted to try something new, the ingredients would usual be there. Austin's company also needed to replace things at the station when the rotations changed. The guys ate like, well men. Austin and another firemen had separated from the group to get a drink they forgot. It would be easy to miss someone is the large store, Niala was not so lucky. She was just turning on the same aisles picking out juice boxes for Sean's lunches. She didn't pay attention to the two men further down. Their backs were turned. She didn't see the big HFD on the t-shirts. She crouched down to Sean's level to help him pick. Her back turned towards the men. "That, is the definition of milf right there. She is a little thicker than what I'm use to, but man." Austin hadn't looked up at who the guy was talking about. "That is because you usually go for stick figures, Dave." Austin laughed. "She is definitely not a stick, whew. I am going to get some snacks. You know Josh would be all on that." David walked away giving the woman another once over. Austin had to see who he was talking about after that, maybe he could tell Josh what he missed. "Mommy a fireman! Ummmm off duty?" Sean was excited is attention had wondered to what was going on around him. "How do you know son? I don't think they call it off duty?" "Cus they came to speak at school off of gear." Sean said with confidence. "You mean out of gear..." Niala didn't want to turn, trying to keep up conversation with Sean. Her heart skipped a beat when he said fireman. Now she felt eyes burning a hole into her. Her body went stiff. It could be any fireman right? Once again, this big city, small world, was coming to bite her in the butt. There she was in her pin-striped pencil skirt, gray tailored puff sleeve button down tucked in, and navy patent round toe pumps. Her usual carefree hair, was pulled into a bun at the top of her head. She even had a little tie loosened around her neck. All Austin could think was wow for that second; she always looked so good to him. He could picture her being a naughty school teacher. Then his eyes moved to the little person clinging to the side of the basket. The boy was lighter than Niala closer to Austin's complexion. He had crazy sandy brown curly hair. They almost had the exact same face, except his nose looked a little different than hers. He was a cute kid, but a kid! She had a kid, how could she not tell him about that? Immediately, he thought of her as a liar. His anger was about to boil over. He swallowed hard, to keep his voice calm. "Niala?" Austin breathed out. It was really no question it was her. The look and his face was struggling between happiness to see her, confusion, then betrayal? The boy looked mixed, She had told him she had never dated outside her race. What else was she lying about? He felt like he had gotten slapped in the face. "Austin wow, surprised to see you here," she did her best not the stammer. It was hard to meet his gaze. The look on her face was priceless. It also made her look guilty of hiding something. Shit, shit, shit, she thought. Decisions she was making based on fear were proving to be worse than she thought. Why did things always happen right before you are about to do something? They were days away from having the conversation. This looked really bad. "I bet."His face was almost a sneer. He paused. Control. "Who is this you have with you?" Austin corrected his face. He knew kids could read people and call them out. "I am Sean. I am 4. I am...Mommy what else?" Niala chuckled but then cleared her throat and fixed her face. This was really awkward. It was a nightmare. "I like Transformer's too! What else..." Sean had one arm folded under the other, his hand tapping his temple like he was thinking hard. "Are you a fireman? I know it, I told my mommy you were off duty." "Nice to meet you Sean, I'm Austin, and I am a fireman. You're right." He smiled reached out to shake his hand. He laughed at Sean trying to squeeze as tight as he could. "You almost broke my hand there," Austin was dramatically shaking his hand out. "My daddy said a man should have a strong shake!" Austin's eyebrow went up but he quickly recovered "He did, did he? Well, you have one for sure. I'll let you and your mommy finish shopping. Nice to meet you Sean" He gave Niala a hard look as he emphasized the work 'meet'. He smiled and waved bye at Sean, and turning his back to them. He was tense all over. She could see his muscles flexing in his back, like he was balling up his fist really hard. His neck was turning a pink color. "Austin" Niala called not wanting to yell. "We need to talk later ok? Please?" "Maybe we do & maybe we don't...I'll think about it." He turned and went to join the others. He didn't even turn to look at her, when he spoke. The rest of the shopping trip Niala was halfway mentally there. Sean got almost everything that he asked for. If she weren't distracted, he would have gotten half. Every time, she came to an aisle, she would hold her breath, but she didn't see Austin again. She felt relief and disappointment. She couldn't imagine what he was thinking right now. This was the wrong way to find out about Sean, the worst timing. ***** Austin was red in the face. He was pissed. The others in the station were avoiding him. He felt so stupid, too good to be true he fumed. I knew something was up. He was relieved to know he was not completely off his game. At the same time, it meant Niala was hiding something. Josh was not there to talk to. It was probably best he wasn't, who knows what he would have said in the store. When it happened, Austin had decided he was done with her. The more he thought about the situation his decisions were reinforced. He really liked her. He thought she was special. He decided to talk to somebody before he decided to never speak to her again. "Why would she lie, dude? It's been month's man. I feel dumb as hell" "Technically she didn't lie." "Withholding information is just like lying especially about something that major. AND she said she had never dated outside her race. Her son was almost as light as me! That's a stupid thing to lie about." "Hey pigment police, we ethnic people come in all shades and have all types of backgrounds. She looks like she could be mixed herself to a close-minded person. " "Really? I'm close minded now? Am I the bad guy in this?!" Color was rushing to Austin's face. He had gotten up from his seat to walk outside the station. All the pent up to lust inside him was turning into anger. He hated to be made a fool of. "No, I was just saying. Look you brought it up, I am informing you. Anyway, that's off the point. Maybe she had a reason? Maybe she was going to tell you. Didn't you say she wanted to talk to you about something?" Josh was sprawled on his couch trying to hold in a laugh. He knew Austin was close to purple at this point. "All the reason's I can think of aren't good. It just makes it worse. Meaning, if it's because of them, then we should maybe stop this now anyway. If she was about to tell me, why so long? I was just about to get serious. I think about her all the time. I invited her to the station, I told my sister about her- I guess it was perfect timing" "I think you should see what her reasoning was first, I mean come on, she is foxy." Austin could hear the humor in his voice. "Not funny." " I'm just saying, once again I was at the club. I also went to 360 when you met De De? Desiree? Dana? Fuck it, Curly sue. She was hot and Niala was STILL on your brain. I hear you talk about her, hell you actually talk about her. For a guy like me that's not as easy to walk away from, at least not before I heard what's up." "I'm not as bad as you though, I'm way more sensible. I'm surprised you still have your junk" "Hey, I know you admire my junk but don't wonder about it" "Dude if you say that in my face, your face will be on the ground, thanks though" "Hey, anytime you're my boy. Now to another pressing matter, see if you can put in a good word with Curly Sue for me." "Bye man." "I'm serious." "Bye." That was easier said than done. He couldn't shake the feelings of anger, and he still felt betrayed. One thing he wouldn't tolerate was a liar. He couldn't take her out that category yet. Did he feel enough for her to let this big issue go? After the conversation, he felt a little bit of optimism. A large part of him hoped she had something very good to say. ***** Niala had spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out what she would wear to work that day. She had already arranged for Ashley to cover her, so she could get Sean for early dismissal. Then she begged for an extra hour, so she could stop by the station and talk to Austin. It was a risk they hadn't spoken since the store meeting. He was barely answering her texts and when he did it was with one-word replies. He was basically ignoring her calls when she tried to explain. So today she was stopping by, he hadn't taken back the invitation yet. She hadn't popped up on a guy before. She hoped he was there. She felt so stupid. She didn't even know what to say. Niala just felt she didn't want to lose him. She would at least try. Therefore, she had to make sure she looked good. She had to focus. Niala final settled on slightly high waist dark kaki capri slacks that were kind of snug. A black high neck halter and nude pointed-toe sling backs. She had a light short sleeve pink sweater to cover her bare back. Guys never paid attention to details, just the overall package and her package looked good. Hopefully, it would make him stay to hear her out. The workday dragged on, that morning. she was confident about the conversation. The longer it took for it to actually happen she got more nervous. It was like a waiting to take a test in school. By the time she was walking out the door, she was questioning her decision. Naila nervously walked up to the station. The bays were open, and she didn't know if she should go to the door or not. This was a huge risk on her part. He could totally embarrass her. She didn't think he was that type of person. At the same time, who knows what type of person he thought she was at that moment. "Miss? Did you need assistance?" It was Santa. Niala couldn't help but giggle. The captain's face went confused. She figured she looked crazy going from nervous to laughing like that. "I was looking for Austin Keenan" "Oh, I'll tell him he has a, ah, visitor" He looked at her curiously before he went into the building. Niala leaned against the wall breathing faster. Get it together; this is not a show down, just say what you have to say and listen. "Niala, what are you doing here?" Austin didn't look mad, but his eye brows were together he seemed frustrated. She popped up from the wall. It suddenly got hot, and she took off her sweater. He wasn't ready to see her yet. He was happy to see her. He tried not to notice how good she looked. Her pants looked professional but fit her so well. Was her back out? It looked so smooth he wanted to pull her close and run his hands all over it. He remembered how smooth she was. If he kept this train of thought up, he wasn't going to be able to stay mad. He had to pull it together, she was dishonest. Hot, but dishonest. Sexy, but dishonest. Beautiful, but she lied. Austin pulled himself out of his mini trance. "You seem distant since Monday. I can only imagine how it looked...I want to talk to you about Sean." "Hey, we are just friends right? Whatever reason you didn't tell me you had a whole other person, who is dependent on you, in your life isn't a big deal." Austin shrugged like he really didn't care. "I can't tell it's not a big deal by your tone and sarcasm. Look, I don't know what you are thinking, but I am pretty sure you are way off base." "Oh ok, let's see. Scenario one you didn't think I was important enough or maybe didn't like me enough to let in your life like that? Scenario two you have a whole family that you are hiding so you can cheat. And three you are ashamed of your child- False Alarm Ch. 05 "Hold up now, that's enough!" She could feel her eyes burning." Like I said, you are way off. First of all, if you can't tell I have feelings for you...Second, we don't do anything so how could I be 'cheating'. And Third, I would never be ashamed of my child, don't ever come at me like that again." "Well, what am I supposed to think Nia? It's been months. Plenty of time to bring up a kid, plenty of opportunities, I was in shock. Are you still with his father is that why you aren't available sometimes? I knew something was up." Austin was trying to keep his cool. He didn't want to show how much it really affected him. He was unsuccessful. His voice got louder and taken a harsh tone. She shrank away from him. Once again, he made her feel like she was in trouble. "I had feelings for you Nia. I feel like we aren't on the same page if you kept that from me." Niala almost buckled, 'had'? So things have changed? She wasn't going to beg someone to talk to her. "Austin I told you in the beginning I had stuff you probably didn't want to be involved in. Maybe it's best that we do stop talking. I am not a cheater though." Niala turned away from him. She didn't appreciate being yelled at. She knew she could have said more to clear things up, but she wasn't sure that it was worth it She had too much going on maybe she wasn't deserving with all these obstacles. Easier to just end this now, while she still had an out, even if it's wrong. "So it's like that? You just want to be done like that?" "It sounds to me like we are on the same page for once since you USE to have feelings for me." "That's all you have to say about the situation? This is a waste of my fucking time, you didn't explain a thing! You know what? You are right. Nice meeting you Niala and Sean is a cute kid." Austin walked past her back inside. He heard running from the door. "Are we fucking children? Guys I'm not in the mood..." He yelled walking through the door. They had had an audience. He slammed it so hard it echoed in the open space. Niala flinched. She was holding back tears that began to fall as soon as she knew he wasn't coming back out. She knew what she was doing now. Self sabotage. ***** She felt so weak, crying over something that never really got a chance to get off the ground well. The whole time they were arguing she just wanted to wrap her arms around him, but she never made a move. She had her chance to fix it, but she let it slip away like it didn't mean anything to her. Niala sat on her bed with puffy eyes. She had put Sean to bed and was now free to wallow in her feelings. Was she so damaged that she killed it before it had a chance? In retrospect, she couldn't come up with a logical explanation as to why she had waited. She faintly remembered telling herself she deserved better recently. However, was she ready for what she was asking for? She listened to the sad songs streaming through her iPod dock station. Every time, she wanted to think she would cut off everything else and listen to music. Songs to match her mood Cold Play's "Sparks" had faded out. She drove him away. The next song came on to mock her. Perfect timing like it knew what just happened. The deep words of Wale's "Diary" spoke of a woman who let her past relationship mistakes dictate her future. I'm not trying to hear that she thought, I am no cliché . The words of the song haunted her as she tried to drift to sleep. Rather lose love than to move on never knowing what it feel like, Short days, long nights, By the phone, no call, Need a clear mind 'cause I been blind, got me goin' down that road, Heart made of stone, Far away from home, Black woman you cold, She shifted in her sheets trying to get comfortable but still the words came up softly from the speakers to her ears like a lecture. Every problem you ever had with another man I gotta face, Started off on thin ice, I'm still here but I can't skate, Slow sink, can't breath, no remorse, don't think, Listen to your friend get another man for a minute then repeat, Queen, you deserve the title but she rejects what I give, while she nurse the wounds by them, Tried them, didn't work, got impossible standards, nothing I'm a do is gon' work, Diary of a black girl... Niala shut it off the music to sleep in silence, only cut by her sniffs. Time to begin moving on. She prayed, begged for no dreams of Austin. Nevertheless, just like the other times she got no relief. She woke in the middle of the night panting. All she could remember was Austin walking away from her as she sat on her bed wrapped up in the sheets. She had tried to get untangled, but she couldn't the more she struggled, the tighter the sheets were around her body. Austin was free, nude with his back to her leaving her slowly with all her problems. She cried again, cried herself to sleep dreaming of nothing. False Alarm Ch. 06 Hola, don't be mad :-). I posted like this, both chapters together for that reason. Hopefully you enjoy this one. As always feedback is appreciated, Thanks guys :D ~Lana~ ***** It had been a month, since there was any communication between Niala and Austin. No text or phone calls between them. Niala had taken to avoiding the places around her job to shop. She was worried she'd run into him again. Her heart jumped whenever she saw a fire truck. It was so cheesy. He wasn't going to hop out and sweep her off her feet. He wasn't even talking to her. About two weeks ago she had broken down and called. If he answered the phone, then she would try to explain. He didn't. The alarm at the job had been fixed much to her relief and sadness. After that night of the melancholy mix on her iPod, she shed not one more tear for the situation. After all she let it become what it was. Her hard exterior repaired. She began trying to act like it didn't matter. However, anyone who knew Niala, knew part of her free spirit was lacking. Her friends asked her what had happened with Austin. Ashley was the only one who knew how much she liked him. They had one conversation about it which Niala didn't really tell the whole story. "Dude, your attitude sucks. And this is what gets me; you hadn't even gotten any yet! You have dry balls man. Let it go." Josh was on the couch shaking his head at Austin. Austin's mood drifted into sour. His usual laid-back demeanor would switch to brooding He had seen her call but what was the point? That last conversation was all too clear. She didn't want him the same way. He was over her dreaming of her, and she had a whole life he didn't know about. He had seen her cry, though she thought, he wasn't watching. He wanted to walk back outside and hold her again, but the way she dismissed what they were working up stung. Maybe they weren't connecting like he thought they were. If he was the only one going crazy, dreaming about her, then she was right it was for the best. The last thing he wanted to do is to get into something one-sided. What he couldn't understand is what she was crying for. He was the one being lied to. She didn't deny any of his assumptions. Was it all three? It was so confusing. She left him confused, and he was mad at her for it. How do you get closure from something that wasn't even a relationship? He hated that feeling, and this is why he was enjoying his single time. They were no longer speaking, and she was still driving him crazy. It had been a month. Josh was right. He really like her though, she was different from anyone he had talked to. He thought about her all the time. He wanted her all the time. Austin couldn't help but feel he lost a piece of him, lost out something special before it started. Then again, maybe he dodged a bullet she seemed so sweet and innocent; the whole time she kept something important from him. It was a ping pong match in his head trying to decide how his heart should feel about not having Niala. ***** They sat in the large coffee house, she wondered when Starbucks had switched from its warm cozy feeling to the brighter, more metal, décor. Maybe it was because they were by the Galleria. Everything was different in that area, sleek and rich. For some reason Niala didn't want it to be bright, she felt on the spot. She looked at the man across from her. Sam's smooth brown skin and hair was shining under the spot lighting. She wondered what he put in his hair. Sam was as happy as a kid in a candy store while she was lukewarm. "I am so glad you agreed to meet me Nia, to give us another chance." "Slow down Sam. We are doing the friend thing until I say different, if, I ever say it. Nothing has really changed." "Then why are you here? Something has changed because you are letting me see you. Baby, I can't just be your friend. It will take time for things to be like they were before, but I know what we had was special." Sam kissed her hand. Niala rolled her eyes thinking this was a bad idea. She quickly pulled her hand back. "Whatever Sam." She could feel her vulnerability. The only think that had changed was boredom an obsession. She had to get out so she didn't sit and think about Austin. "Nothing is going to happen like that we are rewinding anything. " She was taking advantage of his compliments, after what happened between her and Austin, she wanted to be around a guy who wanted her. She was using him, knowing he would pump her head up a little. It was superficial though it would last long. When she was alone she would still be sad. And with her history with Sam, it was for all the wrong reasons. She knew this was a bad idea. "I am serious Niala. I am not giving up. I know it is supposed to be me and you. Will you come over after work?" He looked like a puppy. "I'll think about it Sam." Two weeks ago she would have flat out said hell no. Today, she was letting him think he had a chance. She was playing with fire, if something if dead she knew it shouldn't be re-hatched. All this will do is get ideas in his head. I am going to regret this big time. ***** "I think I will head home" Austin got up stretching a football game and an hour of Josh ragging on him had been enough. "Good because I was about to kick you out anyway I have good company coming. You have been slacking in that category" Josh looked slyly "Who?" Austin raised an eyebrow. "Anyone I know" "Oh yea, you know her, " "Jesus it's Destiny, is it? Are you crazy, I should have left an hour ago!" There was a knock at the door Austin began holding his breath. He really didn't want to deal with this. The way he felt, even if he had been a dick, he was in no mood to be nice. "Dude shut up! Not Destiny, Its Ash and she might hear you." Austin let out a breath and laughed. Josh ran to open the door. "Well well well if it isn't twiddle jerk and twiddle dumb. No need to whisper I am past the point of caring whether Josh keeps it in his pants or not. We wrap it up, and I took my heart out of it." Ash plopped on the couch. Her little foot tucked under her. "And another one bites the dust, and an ice queen is born. Good job Josh." Austin mumbled "No ice queen, no baggage. Anyway enough talk about me what did you do to my girl? I thought what you were the nice one and what guys had going on was cute. Now she has lost some of her spark." Ash glared at him. What did he do? He wasn't the dishonest one. "Well maybe Sean's dad can help her with that." Austin quipped. He headed to the door. "What are you talking about? They are not together. Sean's Dad is married, and not to Niala. I know I called you Twiddle stupid, but I was joking." She shrugged. "Maybe not so much?" "What?" Austin was totally confused. Before he could get any answers Josh began pushing him out of the door. Austin headed out of Josh's building. It was time for some answers. He opened his phone and dialed Niala's number. It seemed like it rang forever. He heard a soft voice, and his heart skipped. It was only her voice mail saying leave a detailed message. His mind began to swirl around all the explanations he had thought of before. So she wasn't with the boy's dad. So it must have been him right? On the other hand if she didn't care or like him like that, then why would she cry? Niala didn't answer because she was on the phone with Ashley. "You are an idiot La La, and I don't care if you don't like me calling you that cause you deserve it. Why did Austin think you were still with Sean's dad? I thought you said you guys talked about the whole thing. " Ashley was in Josh's bathroom sitting on the counter. He was at the door asking who she was talking to and why she needed privacy. Why should it matter to him? Ha serves him right! "Well not so much talk, more like I let him believe what he wanted. It's just too much. I am just too much. If he got so upset about just one little part of me, what about the rest? What about this bull with Sam?" Niala had just gotten in from coffee with Sam. It didn't really make her feel better. It probably did more harm than good. "What rest? You act like you are a bag lady. Having a child does not make you a leper, and are you serious? Sam? Do you love him? I thought you wanted nothing to do with him." "He just keeps coming around talking about love and marriage. I still want those things. I don't but with him, he is a reminder of everything I feel I did wrong getting into a relationship..." Niala was starting to sound stupid to herself: So you don't want him, You just want what his is talking about. So, you push away the person who could maybe give you a piece of what you really want? Yea I will just stop talking now. "It's over Niala, because you said so. You are a smart woman. You were right to drop Sam. That is why I can't understand why you are being so dumb now. When did you become afraid? When did you become ok with settling? Did Austin say a kid was too much? You are cutting yourself down before anyone else can." Ashley shook her head. When did she become the mother in this friendship that was Nia's job? Niala was a little irked by being called dumb. How could Ashley talk about her choices, while she was still dealing with Josh? She didn't voice her thoughts. The pot calling the kettle black was still right none the less. "I will talk to him. I miss him like crazy." She was smiling to herself when she got off the phone. Curled up on her couch watching her Sex and the City DVD collection, she saw she had missed Austin's call. Before they talked though she had to get her thoughts in order, before she tripped over her words. Hopefully, he would listen. She had already messed up one talk. ***** Austin was trying to reign in his excitement. She didn't return his call until the next day. He tried to sound annoyed, but he was happy to hear her voice. She invited him over to her apartment. She wanted to talk to him explain everything. He tried to act like he wasn't sure, truthfully, he was anxious to see what she had to say and see her. Saying they were done didn't stop the dreams or him lusting after her. Niala said it would just be better if he came over so they could have no distractions and talk freely. It was a big step for her, they both knew. They had been 'friends' for months, he had yet to stepped foot in her apartment. He had dropped her off of course, and they had stopped by his place for a second. They never really had that much time together completely alone. He couldn't help but be excited even though they weren't in the same position. There was tension and they had serious things to discuss. Today was the day, Niala was so nervous. She was happy it was a Saturday and she had all day to fret around her apartment and worry alone. She invited Austin over for dinner and to talk. She would cook for him, food always made men more receptive. She had made simple spaghetti, the sauce from scratch, and she sliced some Italian sausage to go with it. Cooking calmed her down. While the sauce simmered, she showered, that help to relax her as well. She needed this. she thought, smoothing her mix of lotion and body oil onto her skin. She pulled her hair back into a pony tail and got dressed. Home dates always confused her, how to dress? She was home, but Austin would be fully clothed. Settling on a comfortable but cute outfit, she finished just in time she heard her phone vibrate. "Hey, I'm down stairs trying to find parking, Do I need a code to get in?" "Just dial my code 245, and it will buzz me to let you in." Niala's stomach was in nervous knots. She rushed to start the pasta and Texas toast. Soon, there was a knock on her door. She took a breath and quietly ran to the door. Niala was glad she took the breath but cause for a moment hers got caught in her throat. It felt like she hadn't seen him in months instead of one. He was gorgeous. In a dark-green v-neck tee it brought out the topaz fleck in his eyes. His dark indigo jeans were held up by a worn spiked belt that seemed to weight them, so they hung right at his hips. Umph! So sexy she thought. She could see the hard plains of his chest defined under the shirt, hell everything was defined. He had on some classic Chuks worn, black and white. Sexy and comfortable he wasn't going to make keeping her cool easy. "I'm under dressed. " She smiled and turned away trying to look ashamed. Austin took the opportunity to let his eyes roam over her. She had on an off shoulder slightly over size white shirt that still fell loosely over her curves and tightened at her hips. It had a geometric red sun bursting from the right side. He then took in her black leggings. He could see the shape of her legs. Austin swallowed. Her little toes were painted red. "You look perfect." He wasn't trying to pump her up either, to him, she was. Niala blushed. He was staring at her lips in nude lip gloss. Austin knew at some point it would be smeared off. "Its smell great I'm starving, I can eat here, and then I have a date. So this is killing two birds with one stone " Austin was watching her face drop a little. A good sign he thought. "Oh really? Well, I will just say what I have to say quick. The food is almost ready" Trying to sound casual. She wasn't stupid. Why wouldn't he have thought to keep his options open? He wasn't bound to her. "I'm kidding Nia. You think I'm an ass hole like that?" He was smiling but a little hurt underneath, he was a bit of a jerk at the station. "No I just, I know you are well within your right..." She trailed off into uncomfortable silence. This was harder than she thought. She didn't know whether to hug him or what. So she just walked towards the kitchen inviting him to take a seat and watch TV. They made small talk, which was easier, since she was finishing up and did not have to look at his beautiful blue eyes. She pulled the toast out of the oven, and didn't notice Austin head gotten up to watch her. He smiled to himself. She looked so cute. She was humming making sure everything was perfect. He wanted to wrap his arms around her and kiss her neck. He never wanted to kiss someone so bad in his life. They hadn't even been around each other, and she was still affecting him. "Can I help?" he asked. He really just wanted her to look at him. "Oh! You scared me!" She laughed "No. I'm almost done. Of course, you want to offer help when I have done all the dirty work," she said it with a smile. Just take that pot of sauce and put in on the trivet on my little table." Everything was set out, and they began to eat. Austin praised her skills said everything was great. She blushed and said it was simple no big deal. They caught up and had easy conversation like there wasn't a big elephant in the room They tried to ignore a transformer under the table. That Niala had missed cleaning. When they moved back to the sofa, the elephant might as well have put on a top hat and started doing high kicks. Austin started to notice all the pictures of her and Sean. Then, TV automatically turned to record the Disney cartoon Phineas and Ferb. "Okaay so we have something's to talk about." She laughed nervously. She wanted to get everything out and clear the air. she was loving being around him again. She didn't want it to end if he reacted bad. "So I'll just ask you two things, and then you can say everything you have to say. I guess after that I can decide, I feel like that's fair." Austin decided to keep it simple and up front without trying to add his reasoning. "Okay..."Niala was nervous but grateful for his approach. "Why didn't you tell me about Sean and then, why did you run when you had the chance to explain?" Niala breathed deep, here we go, she thought. Niala was ready with the speech she had prepared. Of course, her mind went blank. She decided to keep it simple too. "Ok, I wasn't trying to hide Sean. I use to tell a guy strait up. Now, I don't rush to tell guys I meet about him for lots of different reasons like to protect him. I like to wait until I feel I can trust the person and see his intentions. I have become really guarded about information I give out about myself lately. I worry men will put me in a category without knowing me first. They use angels thinking I am looking for a step dad, or I'm a baby mama. I also don't like guys trying to use him to get to me. " Austin was about to speak, but she put her hand on his, as a gesture for him to wait. "I would have told you sooner, but a recent past relationship made me keep him to myself longer. That guy had met Sean. He was good with him, and I let my guard down. We saw him recently, and Sean was so excited to see him. I felt the need to protect him even more. I took that out on you by keeping him completely from you. I was wrong. I know I should have told you I had a child so you'd know. So you could decide, even if you never met him. So basically that's what it was, and it was pretty stupid. I am not in a relationship with his dad that ended a long time ago. Nor do I have anyone else. The only man who occupies my time besides when you did was the little man." "For anything to work it has to be trust, how could I trust someone who could keep something like that from me? If I didn't like you so much-if, you didn't drive e me crazy, I wouldn't have gave dropping what we could have a second thought. I can see your side, Niala. I just hope that you know by now I'm not one of the creeps out there. I remember you telling me about that guy. From what I have seen so far I don't think you were trying to deceive me." Austin was looking serious. He hadn't thought that guy Sam was an issue; he was a little more than pissed some other guy was a reason she pushed him away. "I know, I just... Austin's part of me feels like I have too much going on I'm still in school. I have a kid, and an ex that I have to work with who can't get it through his head it's over. I am trying to get myself together. Who would want to deal with me? An insecure woman is not attractive, even still sometimes I am still in wonder as to why you talked to me anyway. I still don't think I am who you would go-" She was cut off by Austin moving his body on top of hers kissing her. Was she crazy? Why wouldn't he want her? She was sitting there Indian style looking so sexy, making her case to him. He was watching her lips as she talked, he needed to stop the nonsense that was beginning to come out of them. She was starting to ramble. Niala began to moan his lips were softer than she thought. He almost growled her moan sounded as sweet as he thought it would. It would turn him into an animal. She was arching her body to him loving the feel of his weight on her. He chuckled as he pulled away; because she looked like he take her favorite toy. He had to respond though so she could stop with those crazy thoughts. "Niala I'm not going to say a kid is not a big deal. It is something major to think about. Nevertheless, that wouldn't make me not talk to you. If we get to that point, I will meet him again. Since that day, I saw you at the store, I will be honest I pictured the three of us together. It didn't completely scare me like I always thought it would. I'm not going to try to use him to get on your good side. I think the way you let me kiss you. I am already there." She punched his arm, Cocky ass. She smirked. He had looked sincere. "You are so beautiful to me, something I never had and didn't know I needed. You make me crazy thinking about you." His eyes changed. He was still on top of her, and he took her mouth again. Her lips tasted so sweet, so soft. "You make me want to kiss you. You make me want to do this..." He was running his hands up the underside of her thigh making her hook her leg around him. The material of her leggings was so thin, and he could feel the heat radiating from her center. False Alarm Ch. 06 As he kissed her again, she began to moan and breathe faster. She parted her lips and sucked his tongue into her mouth. To his surprised, damn that was a turn on. Niala knew she was beginning to lose control. That moment where you decided whether you were really going to let something happen never came up because there was no question. Niala breathed in his scent, like basil and amber. She wanted it all over her. Austin pushed his hand between their bodies. He began rubbing her slit through her tights that already felt damp. "Stop pushing me away Nia, let me have you. I wanted you for so long. Can I have you?" He slid his hand into her tights. Damn she was wet. She had soaked through her panties and had started on her leggings. Niala let out a long moan. She began moving her hips against his fingers. "Y-yess" was all that she could say. Austin could smell her scent, and he lost it. All he could think about was his dream that kept him from. He slid down on the floor to his knees, pulling her tights with him. He spread her legs back once they were completely off. Her brown outer lips gave way to pinkish brown inner lips then to pink walls. It was so pretty. All he could think was strawberries and chocolate, as he pulled her thong to the slide. She was shaved with a V down to the beginning of her lips. To Austin it was an arrow to where he wanted land. He went back to rubbing her, brushing her clit with his thumb. Niala threw her head back and began moving her hips again. He slid his middle finger inside her and her walls squeezed his digit. Shit, that's just a finger he thought, it made his cock start to harden. As he began to circle her clit with his thumb, he slid in his index finger. She put one leg on the back of the sofa spreading herself wide for him making little moans that were in sync with her hips as she began to move them back and forth. Her voice was so soft and sweet. Austin started to build up the pace as he worked his fingers in and out of her opening. He used his other hand to flick her bud periodically making her buck and while it sent a shiver up her spine. "Yes, yes, yes..." Her pleas were so soft and sweet he had to force himself to pull away. He removed his hangs slowly. He did not want her to cum yet. Austin looked at Niala. She looked so erotic. Her face was flushed, Her legs wide; thong to the slide exposing her pretty pussy him. Her hair was all over the place from her twisting it from side to side. She looked up, a little embarrassed at how wide open she was and how fully clothed he was. She smiled at him blushing. She moved to put her leg down and pull her shirt down over her sex. Austin moved quick to stop her, pushing her leg back up. "What do you think you are you doing? I thought we discussed this, that I could have you? Yes?" He pushed her leg all the way back up putting her leg over the back of the sofa; then he pulled her shirt over her chest exposing her bra. Her nipples instantly hardened from the air. He began pinching one when he resumed rubbing his other hand against her slit. She tired to cover her stomach with her hands. It was not as flat as she would like it. It was rounder at the bottom and stuck out a little making herself conscious. "Your beautiful, your body is beautiful." Staring at her, he moved her hands away. "This, is how I want you. " He squeezed her ankle for effect. Niala shivered up her spine. He was using the commanding tone he used the first day she met him. Deep with an edge, his words seemed to shoot right between her legs. "If I can have it, then I can have it how I want. Now don't move until I am done with dessert." Austin kissed just under her bra and began to make his way lower. Austin was going to taste what he had been dreaming about, finally. False Alarm Ch. 07 Hello readers that are still with me. Please forgive me. My free downloaded editor wants me to pay now ha. I will so when I do I will re-post. As always I hope you enjoy, Feedback is always appreciated, thanks guys :D ~Lana~ ***** Breath Girl! Whatever little control Niala was trying to hold on to was gone, Austin was driving her crazy. Her breath had gotten caught in her throat. Instead of trying to regain it she decided to focus on what was going on below her navel. "Austin- you..." Austin was a man on a mission. A mission to make sure she wouldn't let what they could possibly have go so easily again. He knew at that moment his dreams would have never measured up to what he tasted. His tongue was penetrating her, while a free hand was circling her clit with his thumb. "You taste so good, I could eat this all day. I can't believe you were going to keep it from me." "Never again," Niala groaned She couldn't imagine not letting him touch her again. Her hips began to move in circles as Austin twirled his tongue around her sensitive engorged little bud. Though Austin was the one on his knees, his tongue was making Niala submit to him. "Never again what, you won't keep this pretty pussy from me?" Austin demanded "Nev-er" She couldn't think straight, whatever he wanted. She would agree to anything as long as he didn't stop. He began taking long laps at her clit, each one making her buck and moan loudly. Every stroke of his rough tongue was bringing her closer to the edge. It was a slow rise, where each one took her to another level. Niala was in the clouds soaring towards space, her eyes were closed. Austin sped up while adding his fingers again, stroking inside her. "Im g-gonna come" Niala's hips were beginning to come off the couch. Austin grabbed her cheeks lifting her to his mouth. He held her like bowl his was about to slurp down. "Austin... baby... ah ah ah," she jerked. Her breasts were bouncing as she shook from her climax. Austin was still grazing his tongue against her licking up everything she gave him. lt was that best thing he had ever tasted. He sat her back down staring at her flushed face. Austin got up from the floor to sit back on the sofa; Niala brought his fingers to her lips. She took them gingerly sucking them, tasting herself. The act was so sexy to Austin, he leaned forward to kiss her offering her more of her own sweetness. She twisted her tongue with his, breathing heavy as she came down from her climax. It had been so long, her body felt like a runner who sprinted for the first time after months of no activity. A thought crossed her mind and she laughed against his mouth "So to get that again all I have to do is keep something important from you?" Austin laughed too. "To get that from me again, all you have to do that spread eagle just you did, it was so inviting." He looked her up and down for emphasis. Niala blushed, "You are nasty" "I think you like that..." Austin's eyes locked on hers, he continued "Keep something from me again and you will get punished." Her shirt was still up, he began playing with her nipple through her bra. Niala moaned again, he relished in the sound in his ear. It was as soft and sweet like he dreamed it would be. He leaned forward locking their lips again, grabbing her by the waist. She looked in his eyes trying to read his thoughts. What next? Her reservations were gone at this point. Niala felt the familiar hum of anticipation from her core. Austin began to lean back bringing her to seat on his lap. She broke the kiss to pull off his shirt. He had the body of Adonis she mused. Niala began running her fingers over his chest and abs. His jeans were low enough to see the definition of his Apollo's belt. She willed herself not to be self conscious in the presence of perfection. She tried to work out semi consistently but Austin looked like he never missed a day. Everything was defined and not over worked. His smooth skin stretched over the muscles of his shoulders and arms. He looked strong enough not only to pick her up, but keep her there. Niala noticed the tip of a tattoo coming over his left shoulder. She shamelessly let her eyes roved over him looking for other tattoos. Guys usually never had just one and it was so sexy. Austin chuckled. He raised his right arm to reveal a firefighter maltese cross. Flames leap out the top with bold black numbers in the center. She was curious to ask questions but, they had more pressing matters. "We can talk about those later..." Austin stated in a deep voice, his eyes were focused on her chest. "Agreed." Austin reached between them, she shuddered. Her pussy was still sensitive from being worshiped. He brushed past her to get to his belt so he could slide his pants down. He placed a shinny wrapper beside them. She could feel his strong legs under her flex and relax as he kicked to get his shoes. He shook his legs to get his pants off. It felt like a ride, she was ready for one. Niala felt something hard and thick poking her through his boxer briefs, it aroused her even more. She brought both hands to Austin face and continued kissing him. He undid her bra freeing her breast they were perfect to him. Creamy honey caramel, topped with little chocolate chip nipples. She pressed her chest against his. Niala's nipples began rubbing against his hard planes as she started rocking her hips against his stiffness. She leaned back to stroke him raising her chest to meet his mouth. They moaned in unison. Niala loved what he was doing to her nipples, his tongue was so talented. He was making little circles around her right nipple then he would suck hard. The sensation it sent to her core over shadowed the slight pain that was caused. She pulled away, trying to hide the twinge of as she pulled him out his boxer briefs. Austin had to smile even in his lust, she was so cute. His face turned into a grimace as she began to stroke his semi hard cock. She was so pleased with his size he was about 8 ½ inches, only the tips of her finger nails barely touched as she warped her middle finger and thumb around it. Smooth the veins running up and down it was a reddish cream color darker than his skin. If a dick could be pretty it was his. She wrapped her whole hand around, pumping it slow and then speeding up, Austin began raising his hips matching her movement. He growled, he wasn't going to be able to finish the four play he wanted to be inside her now. He needed it, he dreamed about it. Niala was about to sink to her knees when he gripped her tighter. "Not tonight" He lifted her and she stood as he got up grabbing the condom. He gave her a look and she pointed the direction to the bed room. He let her lead no way he was going to miss the view of her ass and hip swaying as she walked. Even in the dark it looked as if her skin had a glow to it. Austin let his eyes travel from her calves to her magnificent ass. He took in the sharp dip in her lower back and the small waist. An hour glass, he thought and it all looks soft and smooth as honey. He couldn't imagine her being self conscious. He also couldn't imagine a man seeing what was in front of him and not pouncing. Niala stopped at the edge of her bed. Before she could turn to face him he had bent down and licked the curve of her ass, to her spine, until he reached her neck. Her knees buckled, Austin held her up, while massaging the dimples in her lower back. It was tender but rough. Niala hoped he fucked the same way. He turned her and ran his hand up her body stopping to play with her nipples rolling them in his fingers. Gently nudging her onto the bed, they fell together. He was one top of her not letting much distance come between them. She brought up her knees and his fingers went for her wet heat like a magnet. "Can I still have it how I want?" Austin asked finding her clit with his other thumb she immediately began to jerk. "No fair asking while you do that. I can't think y-you can have almost anything you-," She could finish as the feeling began to build up. "Not yet, don't you come yet. Lean back and don't move, not even those sexy hips, damn. So, I can have it how I want. You want it too, look how wet my pussy is for me." He removed fingers and continued to circle her clit. "I know, you can! Just please, now" She did as she was told deciding she was be submissive tonight. "Someone sounds impatient" I cocked smirk formed on his lips. "Austin keep playing with me and-" Her sentence was cut off as he did exactly what she asked. "Shit..." He reached and grabbed the condom he had thrown on the bed. He tore it with his mouth, sliding it down with one hand. That was smooth Niala thought. If he hadn't put it on at that point, he wouldn't have at all. He wanted to feel all of her so badly, he craved straight skin to skin contact. It would make it even more intimate, make their connection stronger. But they hadn't had that conversation... He spread her wide again getting between them, rubbing his tip against her clit. She began to try to buck. He pushed her stomach down. "What did I say?" With his edge but smiling, his words went straight to her pussy. Niala kept still. The sensations heightened because her energy was directed to that spot. He was killing her. She felt his tip slide down her slit to her opening. He lean forward and pushed in fast. She came right then, and saw stars. She willed tears not to come down as he began pumping in a slow rhythm. Austin was letting her come down off the high. She could feel every inch of him as he moved in and out her sensitive lips quivered around him. Niala became hungry for his dick like she hadn't come at all. She brought her knees up and spread them wider. Grabbing his ass so that he could plunge deeper into her, letting him know it was ok to speed up. Austin took the cue bending down to kiss her lips as he began ramming into her at full force. He growled as she spread wider to let him in, fucking him back as her hips rose to meet each of his thrust. She was making all types of sounds that went from sweet to animalistic. Not knowing how much time had passed she felt like she was in another world. "Austin, yess uuuh " she stopped being able to form words as he lifted up her legs pressing them by her shoulders going as deep as he could. She watched the shadow of his body as his hips moved back and forth, it was the sexist thing she has ever seen. She threw her head back and moaned a word he couldn't understand. He didn't need to it sounded beautiful. He was trying to get lost in her. Her tight pussy convulsing around him if he didn't focus he would explode. She would make a face every time her walls gripped him even tighter. Then she would sigh her lips would part. Her grip would loosen and let him dive all the way in. Her mouth formed an O and she would close her eyes. He could watch her faces all night. He wouldn't last much longer. He leaned forward further to kiss her pushing her legs back and holding them with his shoulders as he grabbed her ass spreading he cheeks to go in even deeper. Niala started to shake all around his cock he was lost. Her walls squeezed him tightly as she came again, bringing his on. He pulled out to the head and then rammed in her swollen pussy. Austin came so hard he was sure it broke through the condom. He almost said I love you, shit, it was so good. He could feel her legs trembling around him as she let them down. Their slick skin began to cool against each other as the ceiling fan turned. He didn't want to move as he laid on her chest listening to her breathing calm. One hand was rubbing his head as his hands were still under her back. After a while Niala pulled at his short hair a little. He looked up like a puppy not wanting to move. "I wouldn't mind you staying right there, but all your fineness has weight to go with it. I'm starting not to be able to breathe" she strained the last words to make a point. Austin laughed and rolled over pulling her to his chest and pulling the covers around them. He looked on at her, playing in her soft hair spread on his chest. She looked up at him and yawned. With a smile and sleepy voice she said. "Who said you were staying the night? Booty call mean you are out before sunrise." "All that work I just put in?" Austin laughed raising the hand that was rubbing her ass and smacked it." I want breakfast in the morning." "I thought you weren't a chauvinist," she laughed " Nah you earned it...I can't feel my legs..." He was about to say something but Austin saw she had drifted to sleep. She was beautiful, wild hair, lips parted it was everything he thought it would be and more. He drifted off to sleep himself without a dream at all. ***** Austin woke from his peaceful sleep and smiled. He could smell food in the air. She stayed true to her word and cooked for him again. He hopped up and walked to the kitchen picking up his boxer briefs on the way. In the day light he got to actually look at her apartment. It was decorated in modern furniture a large colorful paintings on the walls. She her dark brown leather sofa, two cushioned acrylic chairs on either side facing each other. He noticed what he dismissed as regular coffee the last night, albeit at that moment he had cared less about the furniture, looked like art. It looked like dark wood done in a loop with inlaid with black glass at the top. Her rug looked light bulbs connected by thick black wire. small round shade lamps were on her black round end tables. Different and stylish, it fit her. "The round coffee table and the acrylics are a life saver when it comes to Sean. It took forever to get everything on my budget but I love it," Niala called out from the kitchen. She had peeked in to see him looking around her living room. If the living room was like this what was the bed room like? He had been too preoccupied to pay attention to that as well. He walked to the kitchen his dick began to stiffen. Niala was in his shirt bending over to get something out the oven. She didn't have on panties he could see her pussy peeking between her legs. As she laid the biscuits on the stove, it took everything he had not to go bend her over the counter. He came up behind her and began rubbing up her thighs, her smooth skin felt so soft under his finger tips. He pushed the shirt up and cupped her round mounds. She giggled. "Good morning" slapping his hands away with a smile. "Down boy, you will have to wait, after last night I am starved, you should be too." He was, truthfully he had thought about getting up and getting some more spaghetti that night, he was hungry then. "Get those plates out the washing machine please and help yourself. I am a crispy bacon girl so I hope you are too" She laughed. She had made eggs, bacon, grits and biscuits. She told Austin there was fruit in the fridge if he wanted, as she brought juice to the table. Austin inhaled the food. "I might have to keep you." he said while chewing. He had already planned too. She blushed. "The biscuits aren't from scratch even though I can make them. It's 2010 though. Also don't get too excited. I love to cook but it's not all time...often though. Just don't expect to put it down then get a spread in the morning all the time." She laughed. "I could care less as long as they aren't burnt! Stop trying to scare me away. It's not working" They both laughed. When they finished and cleaned Austin couldn't contain himself and took Niala bent over the couch. pistoning in and out of her as she pushed back using her hands on back of the couch to steady her body. It was slower than the night before. She raised up on her toes and arched back to kiss him as he massaged her breast with one hand and her clit with the other. She couldn't remember the last time she had sex; her ever working mind was blank expect for what her body was feeling that moment. She was so focused on him and how he was making her feel. Her brain processing the sensations, the spasms she felt building up again. They came together and fell on the couch. Austin didn't want to leave her space. She was perfect; it was perfect, like she was made for him. They were cool and relaxed just like when they would hang out. He was comfortable, and content. Hours had past, it was almost 1:00 pm and they still hadn't fully dressed. They laid on her couch her back to his chest, his hands in her soft ruby curls that were wild from all the activity. He thought about canceling his plans but figured they would need their space. If he didn't make a move to go, he wouldn't for another 24 hours. He showered quickly. Niala took off his shirt to give it back. He chased her as she ran to get her robe. She shrieked still self conscious about being completely naked in front of him. Her eyes were full of energy; it was hard to pull away. He left kissing her at the door. She leaned against the door as she locked it. They only good thing about him leaving was that she could shower and not worry about being self conscious. ***** Austin was a ball of excitement yet his body felt completely relaxed from all his releases. He didn't know what his honey thought that night and morning meant but they were now together. All he could see ahead of him was a future with her. He had not thought he would be thinking of something serious with any woman. Niala was different. She was, a bunch of contradictions that somehow worked. They fit together to become everything he now knew He wanted in a woman. His last real relationship didn't seem like an adult one. They mainly went to the movies to eat every once in a while so she wouldn't complain about being a fuck buddy. In his mind it was really all about the sex. He never fully committed to the girl. Honestly, he had never planned too... With Niala there was a connection. He usually ran from them but with her, the thought never occurred to him with her. Even still, she had baggage, and they had crossed a line. So what was next? It was a lot to think about as much of a dog as Josh was, he was still pretty logical. He parked on the street and walked toward the sports bar. Since he left Niala's later then he had planned, Austin was still in his jeans and shoes from the previous night. He had changed into another white v-neck he had in his truck he threw and a team hat. Josh was sporting a jersey like the players wore, it stretched over his muscles. Training had been good to both of them. "Dude, was it everything you imagined? Did doves come out the sky and a rainbow sprout from the wall going over the bed with unicorns and roses sliding down the slides?" Josh had the most serious, enthralled look on his face, and then they both broke out into laughter. "I am not talking about it, you are nuts." They had plans to get out the house and watch the game. It was prearranged incase the talk went badly. "Aww I just wanted to get the goods before the other guys got here." Ryan and Costa were walking to the table. They were also wearing team wear and jeans. "Are you guys talking about the Too Live Crew?" Costa asked. He looked like cinnamon with medium brown eyes, was full Puerto Rican. He lived in Texas all his life. Costa was not his real name. " Just one member," Josh started to say more but Austin shot him a look to shut up. "I guess things aren't back on with Niala then?" Ryan asked noticing the look between the other too. Ryan looked like a male version Ashley all American Sandy Brown Hair and blue eyes. Except his blue was lighter he had a Ken doll quality, in the good way. False Alarm Ch. 07 "No things are fine with Niala," He gave Josh another look. "We are going to date officially now I am thinking." "So you are good with the kid, I mean dating her and she has one?" Costa asked. One thing he tried to avoid was a woman with a kid. "I have only met 'The Kid' once. Cos you are acting like we are getting married tomorrow- "Whoa don't say that-" Josh interrupted Everybody laughed. "Man I am serous. I am okay with her having a child. He is young, seemed cool; I liked him from what I can tell. I am good with kids, you know my niece and a nephew. I think Niala is worth it if this goes somewhere serious; never met anyone like her." Austin was listening to himself talk and realized that he meant what he said. He had answered his own questions while having to defend them against his friends. "She must have really put it on you..." Josh thought out loud. He then realized his error. "You hit that?" Ryan asked "You guys had sex?" Costa said in unison. "Fucking Josh, Bro, your mouth. I swear your like a child." Austin sighed heavy. He didn't want to talk about her like that. Josh looked at him sheepishly. "Yes and that's all I will say about it." "You don't really have to say more man; your actions are saying it all."Ryan smirked and Austin rolled his eyes. "Wha-pow!" Costa did the whipped sound and gesture. "Can we focus on the game please?" Austin was a grown man and refused to blush. "Or better yet, we can talk about Ashley..." I waitress had just brought up their wings and a pitcher, she was cute. He noticed Josh look but he didn't even make a pass. "You win. Fella's please, let's act like grown men and focus on this game." They roared with laughter. "This guy." Costa pointed at Josh with his thumb. "Wha-pow!" Austin laughed while his mind wondered. He wondered what she was doing that moment was she talking to her friends about last night? Was she thinking about him? He was trying to see if there was a way he could slip back over there without seeming like he was doing too much. No, I need to give her space and time to think. He forced his attention to the game. ***** Niala is so happy, she found herself smiling for no reason. Any moment blue birds would appear around her head, and she would start singing to woodland creatures about the wonder's of love. She rolled her eyes and laughed at herself. Guess that's what good sex does to you, she thought. She cleaned up the pillows and throw that had gotten scattered on the floor. Her table had been pushed diagonal , when did that happen? She wondered if he was thinking about what happened like she was. She was tempted to text him but she had to be cool. Niala needed to get out the house, if not, she would just sit on the couch all day thinking about Austin. She would probably start writing his and her name on stuff hell. They crossed the line that she said they would never in the beginning. Things were different now though. There was no doubt Austin wanted her, all of her . Before her shower she laid back in bed smelling his scent in her sheets. She sighed, she couldn't stay that way forever . She called Ashley "Hey let's go do something, call Alyssa and Miko. I need to get out of here." "We could do the daytime party at Reign, it's really laid back. I'm pretty sure I can see if they have any tables left." "That's perfect, I just want to chill so I guess if it's cool with them 2:30, 3 o'clock." "Are you better? Did you ever talk to Austin since we talked? " "Yea, I'm good now...I feel much better." Niala took one of her longest showers the water felt so good against her skin. She could imagine Austin in the shower with her. She replayed what just happened the night before, and that morning. She saw the sun reflecting in his eyes that morning when they were behind the couch. The deep blue and hints of topaz shining like the sun rays. The blonde hair shining on his arms, with it wrapped around her waist. When they locked eyes it seems like time stopped as they connected. Was she finally getting what she wanted? Niala didn't want to jinx it by going off on a tangent. She would just enjoy what was in front of her for now. If it got to that point like they side, she would look to the future later. She slipped on a Maxi dress, it was a jewel tone turquoise. It had a racer back with beading on the straps. The material outlined her curves without being skin tight. She slid into black and white snakeskin gladiator flat sandals, that traveled up her calf. She finished her look with ivory colored earrings and bracelets. Niala pinned up the right side of her hair, pushing all the curls to the left. Grabbing a clutch she headed out the door tripping on a part of the rug that had been bunched up. When did that happen? R eign was a club on Washington Ave. It looked like a modern castle, lighting post stuck out on the sides and traveled up past the 2nd floor which made them look like a castle wall but smooth like vanilla ice cream. The inside downstairs was a mix of metal grays and red with blue lighting the sitting areas were cream and brown. Upstairs the colors soften again with red, cream and mahogany color scheme, that continued on the patio. The weather was nice, despite it being the beginning of October. It was still warm and breezy, perfect weather for a party on the patio. Niala and her girls were sitting in a cabana with a pitcher of twisted sangria. They got plenty of looks, they were a gorgeous group of friends. Too live crew indeed. Ashley had on a linen cream romper, with her sun kissed she looked like lightly roasted peaches and cream. She had on canvas peep toe kitten heels. Miko had smooth dark skin and short dark brown hair cut into a bob. It stopped right at the middle of her neck and looked black except when it was in the sun. Her athletic body was covered in white jeans and white halter. She wore wooden wedges that had dark brown leather straps. Alyssa had hazel eyes round eyes, her brunette hair had dark red highlights. She had loose jeans that hung on her hips, the bottoms rolled up to her calves. A white tube bra and a light navy short blazer that button at the navel. She was slim, she could pull it off. He sandals strapped around her ankle. "Niala you look ready to ride down the Nile on a long boat paddled by your servants. Its cute though." "And you look like you are going to the Diddy all white party. How can you stand to wear all white? I would be scared to sit anywhere or drink anything." "Queens don't get dirty; those are the worries of you common folk." Niala rolled her eyes at Miko and laughed. "I have a child, white is out of the question for at least two more years." "How is my little Seany," All her friends loved Sean, Alyssa was the only one that called him Seany she use to joke that she would wait for him to grow up he was so cute. "He is great, talking up a storm. He is growing so fast, I miss the baby years. Expect for the potty training, I am sooo happy for that." They all laughed. "I don't even want to think of him getting to dating age and all the little hussies running after him." "Hey, I told you he was handsome, it's going to be trouble. It's okay, they will have to go through Auntie Ash first." "They will have to go through all of us," Miko turned her attention to a man walking towards them. "Great Niala, isn't that Sam's friend. This guy is stalking us. It was the same guy that was at the club the night she met Austin. She figured he had told Sam she was out that night and that's why he called. He wasn't bad looking, about Niala's color, brown eyes and a strong jaw. He was actually handsome; he just seemed messy as hell. She was sure he would tell Sam he saw her. "Hello ladies, Niala you have such sexy friends. I guess you all do travel in packs." They chuckled at the compliment maybe he wasn't so bad. "I told Sam I saw you and he wanted me to ask if you needed anything. He said his woman needed to be taken care of." "Niala and Sam don't talk anymore, but thank you for the offer. I don't think was could even finish out pitcher we have." Ashley responded nicely but she was ready to get feisty. "I can speak for myself Ash, but that is true. Tell him thanks for the offer, we are covered her." Niala smiled. "He says different. If you two don't talk anymore then why did you meet him the other night? Don't front in front of your friends. My boy wouldn't lie." All eyes were on Niala, she knew she shouldn't have gone but, this fool was trying to make it sound like it was some sort of midnight rendezvous. It was coffee, there she stressed they were just friends. What the hell was Sam telling people? He was starting to seem crazy. Would he really make up stuff or is this guy full of crap? "Guys it was just coffee. That was after the whole fight with Austin. We talked and then parted ways. I told Sam we were still just friends. Dude, don't come over here trying to play me in front of my friends. Get your facts straight. I have moved on, you can pass that to Sam." "He said you guys picked back up, all the way up. You have moved on? Was it to white boy you were all over in the club. I guess you have gone to the other side. Is that was bitter women do? At least you didn't turn lesbian." "I think you better leave before I forget where I am." "Before we all forget, Perez Hilton, don't come over here spreading rumors. You look bitter yourself. Did you turn some women off the dick? " Miko looked him up and down to emphasis her words. His face was flushing red. "Bitch." He turned walk back over to where he came from Miko got up grabbing her glass, she was about to toss the red liquid on his back but Niala up got and grabbed her arm. "It's not worth it, we are grown. Besides, he might be just as crazy as Sam apparently is. If he gossips like a woman he might fight one too." Ashley snorted. "I wasn't going to stop you Mik, you know me. I think he needed it to cool off he was already red." "People are looking, don't let this ruin the rest of our afternoon. " Alyssa was being another voice of reason. "Besides, you guys are missing an important revelation. So, you are back together with Austin?" Niala sighed. "Yes I guess we are actually together now; there hasn't been an official talk..." "No wonder you are glowing, that's sweet" Alyssa smiled. "No official talk, so what happened? Did you do it? Niala sighed again. "You dirty girl! I saw it coming." Ashley shook her head. "Alright alright, well, can he bone?" Miko was acting out a scene from one of their favorite movies. They all busted out laughing. Niala grinned big, "Y'all know I don't talk about things like that ok. I'll just say the drought is over, and the stereotype is not true." "I could have told you that," Ashley chimed in. They all busted out laughing again. Maybe it was the twisted sangria. The girls enjoyed the rest of the afternoon despite the incident with Sam's friend. Niala couldn't believe what he said. She knew she would have to talk to Sam. She didn't appreciate him lying on her. It seemed to go past embellishment in front of friends. That was a complete lie that led a lot to the imagination. At this point with how he was acting, they couldn't even be friends anymore. Why would he even take it there?" ***** [Hey,] [What's up, wyd] [At Reign with the girls] [I'm at Buffalo Wild Wings, I'm on Wash Ave. too ] [Miko, said bring you cute friends. jk enjoy your game.] [I hope im not moving fast but can I c u later?] [Yea :D just hit me up] Austin was worried about not being able to spend a whole day without her. It seemed like the lust was even stronger. Since he knew what it was like and what awaited him on his chances alone with her. What they could be together physically attached. They were in sync just like they were on the dance floor. Their electricity intertwined, he couldn't wait.
