A large meal of roast chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed broccoli, and buttered biscuits was arrayed across the glossy sheen of an imported oak table. An expensive, espresso colored grandfather clock stood monolithically in the corner and ticked away each uncomfortable second. Tick...tock...tick...tock... "Pass the biscuits please," Richard requested of his son Eric. Ten year old Eric, who idly used a fork to push the mostly uneaten food around his plate, seemed oblivious to his father's words. He instead stared absent-mindedly through a cold-frosted sliding glass door and into the darkness of the early winter evening. Richard sighed heavily before he said calmly but sharply, "Eric." Hearing his name snapped Eric from his reverie. The young boy moved his head and turned his pale blue eyes quickly to the left which caused his straight, crow black hair to rustle against his cheek. Eric locked gaze ever so briefly with that of his father before he cast his gaze downward. "Sorry dad," he apologized before he lifted the glass dish that contained the biscuits and placed it within his father's reach, his eyes never lifting their sight from the table top. Sarah listened to the brief interplay between father and son, sensitive to the fact that Eric still felt he had been punished unjustly. Being a good and loving wife she had to stand firmly behind any discipline meted out by her husband Richard, but inwardly Sarah was very proud of her son. Eric had protected his sister even if how he'd gone about it was wrong. She reached across the table, touched Eric's hand with an understanding gesture, and asked, "It's the best thing in the world that Zerra has such a caring brother, Eric, but you know why you've been grounded, don't you?" "Yes," Eric responded flatly, his voice devoid of expression. "You broke the boy's nose, son," Richard explained in an even tone. "He had to go to the hospital. You could be expelled." Eric's younger sister Zerrafina, who had been silent to this point in their family's evening meal, interjected, "But...Tommy was hurting me, daddy!" Zerra's brilliant, emerald green eyes glistened softly with moisture, the eight year old on the verge of tears at the fresh memory... Tommy Jensen, for some unknown reason, had been picking on Eric's sister for a couple of weeks. It was mostly just verbal taunts during recess and the occasional spitball hurled during class, but this afternoon Tommy had pinned little Zerra to the ground in a little-used hallway after school. The bully was roughly pulling Zerrafina's long, straight locks of cornsilk blonde hair with one hand while he used the other arm to grind the point of his elbow painfully against the sternum of the much smaller girl. "Whatchu gonna do, whatchu gonna do? You gonna cry?" the heavier Tommy ridiculed with a cruel derision in his voice as he used his greater size to keep Zerra from struggling free. Zerrafina was crying and begging for Tommy to stop when Eric, who had been searching for his sister so they could head home together, heard her plaintive cries. Eric had run toward the sound of his younger sibling's voice when he turned the corner and took in the scene. "No one hurts Zerra," Eric growled in a low, menacing, almost animal voice. Tommy looked up at the sound, and his eyes grew as wide as saucer dishes when he realized Zerra's brother was charging toward him at a dead sprint. To his detriment Tommy froze with sudden panic and fear as the older boy barreled toward him. "RRWAAAA!" Eric bellowed as he swung his thick math book sideways and double-handed like a baseball bat. -THOCK- The heavy textbook connected solidly across Tommy's face, threw the boy backward, and broke his nose in the process. After a sparse moment of shock had passed Tommy began to cry tears of pain, and a low moan of agony escaped his lips as blood poured profusely from his nostrils. The injured boy clamped his hands instinctively to his face in a mostly vain attempt to staunch the flow. In the meantime Eric helped lift little Zerra from the floor of the dark brown, carpeted hallway and asked, "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you bad did he?" Zerra sniffled once and replied, "No...I'm...I'm okay now that you're here." She looked up into her brother's pale blue gaze and saw the undeniable love and concern written upon his face as plainly as if she were reading a book. Her heart swelled with happiness, and Zerrafina suddenly felt safe and warm. It was like staring into the eyes of a guardian angel whose soft, feathered wings were draped gently around her in a warm halo of light like an impenetrable armor that could easily deflect the world's worst slings and arrows. Zerra hugged her brother with a sudden tighness and said, "Thank you, Eric. You're the best brother I could ever have." "It...it was nothing," Eric responded as he suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable at the attention. "I think you broke my nose," Tommy wailed painfully through his sobbing. Zerrafina loosed her embrace as she felt her brother gently try to move away. Eric took two quick steps toward Tommy. The bleeding boy cowered and cringed at his approach. "And if you ever touch my sister again I'll break your arms," Eric threatened in a dire tone that left no doubt in Tommy's mind he was deadly serious. Eric turned away, took his sister's hand, and said, "C'mon, Zerra, let's go home..." It was at that moment the school counselor, Ms. Vale, walked around the corner and asked, "What is going on here?!?" Richard saw his daughter's coming tears and tried to forestall them by saying, "Honey, I know what Tommy did was wrong, and I'm not saying Eric shouldn't have done something to stop it...but..." "Richard," Sarah admonished, "we've already been over this." "I know," her husband grumbled before he fell silent and continued to eat. "Sweetheart," Sarah said as she turned her focus to her little pumpkin, Zerrafina, "all that matters right now is that you're safe and sound. Hopefully Eric can learn from this and do better in the future." Her mother's words seemed to have a soothing effect as Zerra visibly calmed. The eight year old girl seemed to ponder something very intensely for a moment. "Eric's the best brother ever!" Zerrafina suddenly declared, "And when I grow up I wanna marry him and be his wife!" Richard choked on a mouthful of food, coughed, and laughed at the same time as he tried not to spit his dinner everywhere. Sarah joined in and laughed so hard she snorted twice. Eric's face turned bright red with embarrassment as he looked over at his sister. With a child's innocence she smiled at him with her biggest grin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zerrafina stared wistfully at the framed family portrait from a decade ago. It had been taken only days after the "Tommy" incident. In the photograph Sarah and Richard smiled beautifically with their children in front. Each was dressed in what one would call "their Sunday best". Sarah had a hand on her daughter's shoulder while Richard did likewise with his son. Little Zerra had a seraphic smile on her face. Eric's smile, however, looked a bit forced, the young boy still feeling a little raw at the time about his extended grounding. The picture evoked a mixture of emotions within the eighteen year old high school senior, and her eyes began to become misty. "I will not cry," she thought to herself as a lone tear rolled down her soft, youthful cheek to betray her intended stoicism. It had been a mere two years since her parents had been taken from her, killed in a freak car accident while on their way home from a show in the city. The wound still hurt, and it had been a long, hard road to get to the point she didn't cry herself to sleep most nights. That was but one thing of which the photograph reminded her. "This is when I truly began to love Eric," she mused. "Not like a sister loves a brother, but like a woman loves a man. I had no idea at the time, but this is when the seed was planted." Her wonderful brother, Eric, had always been there for her. He had always been her closest friend. No matter the span of years that separated their ages as they grew up Eric was never embarrassed to have his little sister tagging along. Even when they became teenagers he always had time to help her with her homework, or to help her memorize her cheerleading cheers, or even stay up late on weekends just talking about everything under the sun. Zerra's brother was somewhat introverted and had never had a plethora of friends. She sometimes wondered if it was because she had monopolized all of his teenage years. Eric was personable enough and a great listener, but he never seemed to truly open up for anyone but his sister. Most notably, though, he had been there for Zerra right after their parents had died. Only days after the terrible, life-altering accident the State decided it would be in Zerrafina's best interest to move her into a foster home. This was despite the fact that her brother was eighteen at the time and of the legal age of majority. They had no other living relatives in the US, only an uncle in the military who was stationed in Germany and in no position to care for a sixteen year old girl he'd never met. Eric fought the State's decision. "Oh how Eric had fought," Zerrafina recalled fondly. With their parents barely laid to rest, and Eric himself no doubt feeling just as angry, stunned, lost, and confused as Zerra felt, he mounted a legal battle in court to gain custody over his sixteen year old sister. It had taken months. Months of her being stuck knocking around a foster home with three other kids she didn't know and two adults she understood even less. What got her through the roughest three months of her life was Eric's frequent visits...and his promise. "I will get you out of there," he'd told her the day she was forced to move from her deceased parents' home and into foster care. Zerrafina most remembered that last court hearing. Eric had been unyielding in his stout refusal to back down from what must have been an incredibly daunting task for one still so young. The judge, despite Zerra's own positive testimony on the stand, had been quite dubious at first, but Eric produced affidavits from past employers at his summer jobs who attested firmly to Eric being a fine and responsible young man. Her brother showed piles of paperwork from the medium sized tech firm he and his sister had inherited upon their parents' deaths, and explained the details of P&L statements, quarterly growth projections, estimated future demands, et al, ad nauseum to prove his financial stability. He outlined his plans to take a job in the software development department of his company as well as handle the leadership role. He expressed how he wanted to keep his sister in the private school she was attending for her own scholastic benefit as well as her future college prospects. Eric provided many other insightful details others might have overlooked that ultimately impressed the judge. By the end of the hearing Eric had the judge practically eating out of his hand. Zerrafina had known her brother was smart, but it wasn't until that day she understood just how intelligent he really was. He had done everything himself without a lawyer, and he had done it all perfectly. He knew things no average eighteen year old would know and had learned them quickly out of desire to protect his sister. The judge had gladly and without pause rubber-stamped his approval of Eric taking custody of his sister. The pair were walking from the courthouse when Zerrafina asked, "How did you...? Why did you never have a lawyer?" "Because," Eric replied in ernest, turning to look at Zerra with that penetrating gaze of his and speaking words she would never forget, "no one in this world will ever care as much about you as I do." Zerrafina took one, last look at the old family photo before restoring it to it's place on the cottage style nightstand to the left of her very stylish, white, four-poster canopy bed. She sighed, her heart a bit heavy from the bittersweet reminiscing. "Oh, Eric...why did we have to be born brother and sister?" As Zerrafina looked up she noticed the time. "Oh gawd," she bemoaned, "I've been staring at that picture for half an hour! I'm gonna be late!" The teen stood up and bolted out of her bedroom and into the second floor, half-open hallway that overlooked the living room on the floor below. Turning to the left she headed for her bathroom that was two doors down. The bathroom...and the shower. She definitely needed a shower. Zerrafina was still wearing the white and blue cheerleader outfit from her practice earlier that day, and she felt sweaty and grimy. In a rush she kicked off her shoes and stripped her socks, dropping both in the corner. Normally Zerra liked to keep her bathroom clean and tidy, but today was to be an exception due to her lateness. She could clean up tomorrow. "Besides," she thought, "Eric uses mom and dad's old master bathroom. My mess shouldn't bother him." Eric had insisted on it so Zerrafina wouldn't have to walk through her parents' old room to use the bathroom. She'd said it wasn't fair to him, but he also insisted she deserved her privacy. Zerra had let Eric win that battle. Next to go was the striped white and blue top with her school's mascot on the front. The charging rhinoceros looked as though it were smashing through the chest of her cheerleader's sweater. Zerra lifted it quickly over her head and flung it near the shoes. With a practiced motion she reached behind her back and unsnapped her pink, frilly bra with the flexibility that lithe, young, eighteen year old women possessed. The undergarment joined the growing pile. Zerra's mature and sultry breasts swayed at the motion. The teen gripped her cheerleader skirt and pink panties together with a hand on each side and pulled them down as she bent over. She casually kicked them with one foot behind her as she stood back up. They topped off her small hill of cheerleader's clothing. About to climb into the shower something made Zerrafina pause. Placing both hands on her hips amidst the spacious bathroom she stepped back and turned to the large mirror above the sink for a moment of self-indulgent vanity. Long, cornsilk blonde, slightly wavy hair spilled down her back reaching all the way to the top of her firm, rounded, and strikingly feminine buttocks. Brow-length bangs framed a pair of luminous, emerald green eyes that were set within the delicate, elfin features of her face. Zerra's countenance had a sophisticated, adult beauty that fooled many into thinking she was in her early twenties and not an 18 year old. The teen's 5' 9" tall body was thin and supple without being boney. She had an ample curvaceousness highlighted by a strong hint of muscle tone beneath her creamy, caressable skin. Two youthful, firm, and perfectly symmetrical C-cup breasts hung tautly from her chest. The perky nipples centered in her half-dollar sized areola had stiffened slightly in the cool air of the rest room. "Dang I'm hawt," she jokingly chuckled, though she'd been told on many occasions by would-be male suitors as well as her best girlfriend in school that she could easily be a model. Zerrafina's gaze moved down the mirror to her long, shapely legs. The wax job she'd given herself two days ago seemed to be holding up as no shaving was neccessary yet in that department. Her pussy was another matter. Zerra didn't wax such a sensitive area. She preferring to shave instead. A week's growth was more than she liked to be sporting. The young woman reached down and gingerly rubbed the short but quickly sprouting hairs that surrounded the sexy outer lips of her pretty vagina. "This will never do," Zerrafina decided firmly, time constraints be damned. About six months prior, shortly after her eighteenth birthday, Zerra had been curious about what kind of woman Eric would like. He never dated much before their parents passed. The three girlfriends Eric had gone out with during his younger years never lasted more than a month, and three girls wasn't much of a sampling. After their parents' funeral Zerra never saw Eric with go out on a date with a woman let alone even talk with one on the phone who wasn't a coworker. Even then he would only speak with them of work related matters sprinkled with occassional, meaningless small talk. So she had gone on a bit of a hunt. After all, Eric must have needs. With her brother out of the house she snooped around his room to scout for any hidden porn. The teen had felt a twinge of conscience at searching for her brother's masturbation material. Though she'd felt bad about invading his privacy Zerra's curiosity was insatiable, and she just had to know. She'd started with the laptop sitting on his work desk, but it was clean as a whistle. Searching elsewhere Zerrafina had been surprised to find a stash of porn dvds hidden in an old shoe box on the top shelf of Eric's closet. Oddly enough they were burned dvds of the kind Eric must have compiled himself. Zerra had almost overlooked them as the discs were in plain, nondescript, and unmarked jewel cases. Each disc was labelled only with a date that probably denoted when Eric had created them. Zerra popped one in Eric's laptop and discovered their true nature. "How old school," she'd laughed, delighted to discover her brother wasn't a total stick in the mud when it came to sex. She'd spent a couple hours watching and fast-forwarding through the videos to discover the vast majority of the women were completely clean-shaven down there. No small puff up above, no landing strips...nothing. Each porn starlette was tall, curvey, and most had blonde hair. "Ooooh," Zerrafina had thought with delight to herself back then, "Eric likes blondes." All of the sex scenes were pretty vanilla. What Zerrafina watched was all one man with one woman generally in more upscale environments. There was lots of foreplay building up in each segment to the eventual penetrative act itself. Zerra had begun at the time to imagine Eric watching these on his laptop...visualize him unzipping his pants and pulling out his cock. What would it look like? How big would it be? Her thoughts made her begin to feel a warm craving between her legs and she'd ended up masturbating to the thought of her brother jerking off to those videos. She'd tried to put them back exactly as she'd found them, and Eric had never asked if she'd been in his stash. A couple of weeks later Zerra got extremely horny one day after school while Eric was still at work, and an impish impulse caused her to raid his hidden treasure again. The blonde imagined the sexed-up couples on Eric's laptop screen were herself and her brother as she stroked and fondled herself to orgasm again while sitting in the computer chair in his room. This had become a once or twice a week ritual for Zerrafina. Each time she did it she would fantasize about Eric walking in on her as she watched his porn. With her legs spread wide, her ankles propped on his work desk, and two fingers or her vibrator buried deep in her snatch she would envision all the possible scenarios. She came back to the present while still staring at herself in the mirror. Zerrafina realized that at some point during her sexy thoughts about her brother and his well-hidden porn she'd begun to unknowingly slide two fingers up and down in-between her rapidly moistening inner lips. Come Break Away With Me Ch. 01 "I better do this fast," she thought, realizing that if she didn't get herself off she'd be distracted and horny all night long. Zerra lay herself down on the large, plush rug in front of the tub and propped her ankles upon it's edge. The fingers of her right hand worked their magic on her florid clitoris while her left got busy fondling her soft breasts. In the past she'd tried to imagine other boys while doing this, but the orgasms were never as intense as when Eric was her illusory lover. Zerra pictured him above her in her mind's eye as his cock moved deep inside. She tried to summon the memory of his manly scent, the smell of his body just after a workout. The fingers of one hand continued manipulating the pliable flesh of her womanhood swirling and rubbing almost furiously while her other hand travelled downward. Zerra inserted her two middle fingers into the wet tunnel of her passion and worked them rapidly in and out with a steady rhythm. "...mmmmmMMMMM...oh Eric it feels soooo gooooooood," Zerrafina moaned after a while as the fire she'd built within her loins began heating to a crescendo. "Ahhh...AHHHH...AHHHHH!!!!" Her pelvis began to vibrate as the sensuous flower exploded with exquisite slowness in her mind, washing her vision with white light at the approach of a superb climax. Zerrafina thrust her fingers as deep as they would go, her fingertips just reaching her g-spot. The imaginary Eric was atop her giving one final thrust as his warm seed entered the deepest room of her temple, and Zerra tried to mentally conjure how his warm semen would feel as it pulsed into her womb. Her pussy muscles began to contract powerfully as a small amount of her pussy juices escaped and dribbled slowly downward. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOH GOD!" she cried as a wonderful orgasm gripped her and rippled through every fiber of her body. With eyes rolled back in her head Zerrafina quivered with slowly fading aftershocks, and her chest heaved with heavy, impassioned breath. Even after such a great cum Zerra couldn't help but wonder what the real thing would feel like. A couple of her friends in school had done it with their boyfriends, and both said real sex was so much better than masturbation it wasn't even funny. Once you got past having your cherry popped, that is. Both agreed upon that part sucking. Zerra didn't really need to worry about that, though. She'd long ago worn down her hymen from all the excercise she got and from her frequent masturbation. "I'd better get going," Zerrafina sighed as her orgasm finally tapered off and ended. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I'd better get going," the twenty year old Eric sighed, unaware he and his sister had just uttered the same words at the exact same moment in time. "Yes," Clarice agreed, nodding her head from behind her desk. "He looks so much like his father did at that age," the older woman couldn't help but notice. Eric had the same strong, squarish jawline and thin nose. His piercing, pale blue eyes were like those of his late father. They were similarly expressive and kind looking. The son had the same straight, jet black hair as the dad, although Eric grew his longer than Richard ever did. It came half way down his neck, almost to the shoulders. "The boy is just as handsome as his father was, though I doubt he even realizes it. He's so modest. And hoo-boy is Eric built like a brick shithouse. He must work out every day." Clarice had seen Eric changing shirts one day in his office and was taken aback at how chiseled and stocky looking her 6' 2" boss was underneath his polo shirt. "Like a greek god. The ladies would swoon for him if he'd ever give them a chance. It's too bad he's so shy." The somewhat frumpy, 48 year old receptionist adjusted her large frame glasses and continued, "Zerra only gets one Senior Prom. You'd best go see her off. Now git." Eric smiled warmly at Clarice as she made a shooing gesture toward him with one hand from behind her workspace. The woman was almost like an Aunt to him, one of the only three people in the world he counted as a real friend. She'd been with the company for 17 years now, fifteen of them under his father's leadership and two under Eric's. "Yes ma'am," he chuckled affectionately, giving her a mock salute. "Say, what are you doing here this late? It's almost six-thirty." "Oh, just cleaning up our contact database," she answered. "Sam is coming to pick me up. We're going out to Theodore's for dinner tonight, and it didn't make sense for me to drive all the way home just to drive all the way back." "Ah, I see," Eric said. "Okay, then. You and Sam have a ball." "We will. Tell Zerra 'hi' for me, okay?" "Sure thing. Goodnight." "Goodnight, Eric." The young man turned and headed toward the row of glass doors that marked the entrance and exit to the first floor of his tech firm 'Monroe Specialists'. His tech firm. The thought still seemed so very alien in his head. Some days Eric half expected to see his dad, Richard, turn a corner and give him a fatherly smile as if the terrible accident that took his parents' lives was just a horrible dream from the night before. The loss of his mother and father still left a gaping void in his life. "Yet I soldier on bravely...for Zerra's sake...and mine," Eric reflected, trying to be honest with himself. He often wondered what would have become of himself if Zerrafina hadn't been there for him. His sister. He had almost lost her two years ago...lost her to the foster care system. "I'm not sure if I could have gone on without her around to talk to ever day...to see her beautiful face each day and be reminded that I'm not alone." Eric had lost count of how many occasions she'd thanked him for saving her from the miserable fate of spending the last two years of high school stuck in a foster home full of strangers. Little did Zerra know how she had saved him from a downward spiral of self-destructive depression. She gave him purpose. Her presence in his life was reason for living and not simply existing in a dull, robotic vacuum that, without her, would eventually erase his will to live. He'd always known on an intellectual level that his mother and father had loved each other deeply. Eric never truly understood the feeling of such a thing until his parents were so cruelly taken from him, and his sister was about to be taken, too. That day Child Protective Services came to take her away Eric had felt as though he'd been cut in half. Eric had hugged Zerra tightly and whispering in her ear, "I will get you out of there." Afterwards he watched helplessly as she was escorted away. When the door clicked shut it was as though an unbearable weight had suddenly slammed down upon him, and Eric fell to his knees as his legs literally buckled beneath him. It was like they'd just torn out his soul and taken it away. His chest was tight, and Eric couldn't breath. A high-pitched whine reverberated in his ears, and soundless tears trickled from his eyes to roll down his cheeks. When his body finally forced him to breathe again Eric sharply inhaled a ragged gulp of air and squeezed his eyes shut. A low, keening wail built in his lungs and slowly worked it's way through his clenched teeth. All of the loss, all of the pain poured into the heart-rending sound as he curled into fetal position on the floor. "That was a bad day," Eric remembered as he looked through one of the building's glass doors into the darkening skies and saw that dusk was fast approaching. "That was the day I realized just how much I love Zerra...how she means everything to me...how I want to be closer than just brother and sister," he pondered, noticing some of the darkening was caused by rain clouds building above. "Is it wrong to feel that way? Most people would say yes," Eric admitted to himself as he passed through the doorway and into the outside world, "but I can't help it. If I had more courage I would tell her how I really feel about her...but...I couldn't risk her freaking out and leaving. I can't lose her again. Not like that. I think I would just give up...on everything...if that happened." Eric walked across the florally ensconced, grey concrete roundabout that lay in front of his company's offices and toward the black asphalt of the parking lot. He was halfway to his car when the first droplets of rain began to fall, pattering softly against the black leather jacket he wore that matched the straight, jet black hair reaching half-way to his shoulders. "Well, shit," he cursed under his breath, "and me without an umbrella." The young business owner sprinted the rest of the way to his silver 2012 RUF CTR3 sports car. Eric loved this car. His dad had never believed in opulent living despite their moderate wealth. Their family car had been a Toyota Avalon, a nice car to be sure but not even in the same league as Eric's RUF. The RUF's sleek, sloping, aggresive lines and rear spoiler made the car just look fast. Which it was. Eric had decided after all he'd been through he deserved this one, small indulgence. He hopped behind the wheel and closed the door just as the rainfall intensified. The pelting drops created a sort of mist from the excessive spattering. Eric fired up the car's beastly engine, immediately turned the wipers on, and backed out of his parking spot to exit the lot. Eric drove carefully as he wove his way through the water drenched streets toward the freeway. His parents liked the city but didn't like living in the city, so they'd had a house built in a small bedroom community some 20 miles away. It was a short commute that Eric tended to like more often than not. It gave him ample opportunity to drive and enjoy his beauty of a vehicle, as well as some quiet time each day for silent contemplation. When almost to the freeway Eric remembered that he needed to pick up some milk and bread. He turned toward a small gas station that was also a convenience store. Through the rain he saw a car up ahead. It was a forest green Ford Taurus parked alongside the road. A short figure was at the opened trunk at the rear of the car and appeared to be struggling with something inside. As Eric got closer he could tell from the back that the form was that of a woman, and she was fighting to pull out a spare tire from inside the trunk of her sedan. The rear driver side tire was flat as a pancake, and the poor woman was getting drenched by the rain. "Sometimes being a gentleman sucks," Eric frowned as he slowed and pulled over a short way in front of the Taurus. Eric parked and exited his sports car. He instinctively raised one hand above his brow to shield his eyes from the falling precipitation and hoped this wouldn't make him late to see Zerra before her big night. "Would you like some help with that?" he called out, his social awkwardness and paranoia causing him to stop a short distance away just in case the woman was some schizoid freak who would decide to come at him with a tire iron. The woman looked out from behind the upright lid of her car's trunk, apprehensive at first but quickly smiling as she realized it was a young, handsome, sports car driving man coming to her rescue. Eric was a bit surprised at how strikingly beautiful the girl was. He guessed she was in her early twenties. She wore tight hip-hugger jeans, a white t-shirt with "DIESEL" written across the front in black lettering, and a casual, light green sweater. The word on her chest contorted slightly as it travelled over perky looking, B-cup breasts hidden beneath the t-shirt. A toned midriff showed between the small gap in her pants and shirt. Her curly, light auburn hair was cut short, about shoulder length, and thoroughly soaked...which only seemed to add to her charm. Her large, round, dark blue eyes were set above a strong, hawk-like nose and luscious lips. Her wide jaw tapered down to an almost "V" shaped chin. Her skin was deeply tanned...or maybe it was natural. "Definitely some Mediterranean in her ancestry," Eric noted as he took in her elegant looks. "I'm sorry," the beauty responded as she moved from behind her car, "I couldn't hear you over the rain." Eric stepped a bit closer, pointed at her car's flat, and repeated timidly, "Would you, umm, like some help with that?" "Oh, could you?" she smiled, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "I'm having such a hard time with this, and I'm running late for work." "Sure," Eric nodded as he gave the stranger a brief, half-hearted smile. "Thank you sooooo much," she said with a returned smile that showed perfectly straight, brilliantly white teeth. "No problem. You, umm, may as well get in your, uhh, car while I do this," Eric told her. "Yeah," the woman nodded in agreement, "I'll do that. Thanks." She stepped around Eric with an enigmatic, side-long look. The gorgeous young woman headed to the driver side door of her Taurus and opened it. She paused a moment before getting in to shoot a quick glance at her rescuer. Eric met the look for a moment before he quickly and nervously looked away. Her gaze had plainly stated 'I think you're hot'. "Why am I such a dweeb?" Eric wondered as he got to work installing the spare tire. "Why do I get so damn nervous around pretty girls that I stammer like a fool? I guess every guy does a bit, but most work up the courage at some point to talk with them like a normal person. Not me. The only pretty girl I can every talk to is Zerra." As he jacked up the car Eric had to admit his sister Zerrafina was the most amazing woman he knew. She was smart, witty, outgoing, athletic, kind, generous...the list could go on forever. When they talked it was as natural as the wind blowing on a warm summer evening. No matter what they spoke of Eric would never see judgement in her eyes, only the attentiveness of a little sister who adored her big brother. Eric also had to admit to himself how addicted he was to looking into Zerrafina's brilliantly green, emerald colored eyes. To stare into them as they talked for hours was to be awash in a sea of contentment. "Is it because I subconsciously compare every girl I meet to Zerra? Am I afraid they'll somehow see it on my face...see that I could never possibly love them like I do my Zerra? Is it because I'm too afraid to even tell the woman I love the most how I feel about her?" Self recriminations and doubt filled his mind as he worked to remove the flat. Eric knew at some point in the very near future it was highly likely Zerra would be moving out. He had helped her fill out the college applications after all, providing only a bit of advice here and there while his sister did most of the work. "What will I do with myself then? She graduates in a few months...then in a few more college classes will start. She'll leave and get on with her life, but who could blame her? Why can't I just accept that and try to...?" "And try to what...?" Eric mumbled as he slapped on the spare tire, braced it with his knees, and began to spin the lug nuts back onto the studs. "Try to realize that you'll never have the relationship you want with the love of your life, your soulmate? Try to settle for something less and know that your own fear is what held you back from finding out what could have been with Zerra?" Eric tightened the lugs with a tire iron before lowering the car back to the ground. He lifted the jack and iron in one hand, the flat in the other and placed them in the trunk. The appreciative woman got out of her car and was headed toward him when he realized that the rain had stopped at some point during the tire changing process. So heavy were Eric's thoughts that he hadn't even noticed. The handsome young man closed the trunk and was a bit startled as the lovely woman stepped up close, their faces only a handful of inches apart. "You're my knight in shining armor," she said with a coy smile as she took one of Eric's hands in both of hers. He felt something placed within his palm and began to look down when she surprised him yet again with a quick, pecking kiss on the cheek. Eric blushed slightly at her attention. "Is she just gregarious, or is she flirting with me?" he wondered. "Thank you again," she said with a beaming grin as she moved back a single step. "My name's Chase, by the way. Chase Calliope." "Tell her she has a pretty name you dolt. At least try to grab some happiness before Zerra leaves you," the thought appeared, unbidden, but Eric's lips couldn't form the words. "Umm," he replied instead, "Eric Monroe." "Nice to meet you, Eric Monroe," she said with a wink, "but I'm so late my boss is gonna kick my butt. I gotta go." Chase turned and sauntered toward the driver door of her Taurus. She reached into one of the tight pockets of her hip-huggers to fish out her keys, but they slipped from her grasp and jingled when they hit the wet ground. "Oops!" She bent over not at the knees but at the waist and shifted her hips ever-so-slightly to give her shapely ass the smallest of wiggle. Eric couldn't help but gawk at the amazing view of her backside and remark at just how much it resembled Zerrafina's cute behind. He also understood that Chase hadn't dropped her keys on accident, the enticing move obviously having been planned for Eric's benefit. "Wow," he though, a bit startled by her brazeness, "she's definitely flirting with me." Chase Calliope looked back for the briefest of seconds to see Eric's unabashed stare and to give him one last enticing smile before getting back in her car and closing the door. The starter churned and brought the engine to life as the driver's window rolled down. The young woman stuck out her left arm and waved goodbye as the forest green Ford sedan began pulling away from the curb. "Calllll meeeeee..." her voice came to him but rapidly receded as she drove off. "Call you...?" Eric wondered. He looked down at what Chase had handed him. It was a slightly folded piece of paper. Eric opened it and comprehension dawned as he saw her name and a phone number written on it's surface. "Oh..." Eric muttered in a dumbfounded voice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zerrafina stood in front of the dresser mirror in her room as she applied the final, light touch of blue eyeshadow. She turned her head side to side to examine her handiwork, and was pleased at the results. Zerra had never liked a heavy amount of makeup. She always thought if applied too thick it made a girl look slutty. Just the right amount could enhance an already beautiful face, though. A smidge of blush, a thin pencil line of eyeliner, a light coating of cherry red lipstick, and a dash of eyeshadow was all she needed. She stepped back to take a final look at herself before her big night. Zerrafina had to admit just how devestatingly good she looked in this dress. It was strapless and rose red, it's shimmering length hugged and highlighted her curves as it travelled almost to the bottom of her shins. The top cupped her ample bosom and provided just enough push to give a teasing amount of cleavage. A long slit in the dress travelled up the left side from it's very bottom to the beginning of her hip and gave a tantalizing view of her slender, sylphlike leg. A pair of matching red, very strappy high heels graced her feet and gave her an extra three inches of simulated height. She touched the necklace that hung loosely over her upper chest, admiring how it sparkled in the light. The smaller, glistening rubies were outshone by the larger, scintillant emeralds interspaced along it's length. Come Break Away With Me Ch. 01 "I hope no one realizes this thing is real." Zerrafina protested when Eric had brought it home, but not at first. When she found out it was real, however, she had said, "Holy crap, Eric, I can't wear that to a Prom. What if it gets stolen?" He had simply draped it over her neck line and with a smiling nod said, "It brings out your eyes. It was worth it." Eric wouldn't even listen to talk of returning it. Zerra wasn't sure she deserved such a gorgeous piece of jewelry, but she was sure as hell going to enjoy how it made her feel since Eric was so dead set on her wearing it tonight. He always had a way of making her feel special, making her feel worthy of the good stuff in her life. "I'm about as ready as I'm gonna get," Zerra said happily to her own reflection, hand on hip and an excited grin on her face. "I'm actually looking forward to tonight. It's kind of my last hurrah. My last chance to just be a kid and have fun." Just then the front door opened, and Zerrafina squealed in girlish delight when she heard her brother call out in a hopeful voice, "Zerra? You still here?" "Eric!" she responded gleefully. The decked out young woman ran as fast as her snug dress and high heels would allow and headed to the stairs. With one hand on the railing she took the steps at a breakneck pace and was amazed she didn't trip or fall in her exuberance. "Hi," Eric greeted his sister with a smile and a quizzical look at her excitement. "Eric!" Zerrafina repeated as she was almost to her brother. A devilish thought suddenly struck the blonde, and she feigned tripping right in front of her brother. Eric instinctively reached out to catch her as Zerrafina fell forward. She ended up giving him a close embrace that was definitely on the unsisterly side. "Oh my God!" Eric thought as he felt Zerra's entire body press firmly against him, his strong arms the only thing holding her up. He could swear he felt the mound of her pussy grinding lightly against his own crotch as his sister tried to untangle her feet. It took supreme mental effort to hold an erection at bay. "Sorry!" Zerra apologized, though she knew full well what she was doing. "Lost my balance. I don't wear heels this tall...well...ever." With the added height she couldn't resist her small naughtiness since it put her love nest at the same level as her brother's penis. The feel of his prominent, manly muscle rubbing ever-so-slightly against her vagina was delicious. She had to keep it brief, however, so it didn't seem too obvious. "Oh no," Eric's blonde sister thought with alarm as she realized she was starting to get wet down there. "Gotta calm down." She pretended to regain her equilibrium then relinquished her hug and stepped back. Seeing the awkward look on Eric's face made her feel suddenly and honestly penitent. She hoped the closeness of their bodies hadn't been too strange for him, but the opportunity was too good to pass up. The sensual memory of their naughty bits so close together would tide her over until her next masturbatory session. "I'm sorry," she said, truly contrite this time for making her brother so noticeably uncomfortable. "It's okay," Eric pretended to dismiss the matter as he tried to put a normal look back on his face. "I'm just glad I was here to stop you from falling and hurting yourself. You should be careful in those heels." "Shit...shit...shit..." Eric mentally intoned, still fighting back the hard-on that threatened to put a bulge in his pants that would be hard to hide. Even though several layers of clothing were in the way Eric couldn't get the feel of her full length pressed against him out of his mind, so soft and warm and womanly. At that moment he wanted nothing more than to just say 'fuck it', pull Zerra in even tighter, and give her the most passionate kiss he could muster. It was like being granted a peek through the gates of heaven then being thrown unceremoniously back down to Earth. "I'm glad you made it home before I left for the prom," Zerra told Eric sincerely as she placed both hands on her brother's well-formed shoulders. "I still want to feel him...to touch him," she told herself. "Even this little bit." "Me too," Eric nodded lightly, "because I wanted to be the one to surprise you." "Surprise me?" Zerra asked as she cocked her head to one side, her curiosity piqued. "With what?" "I rented a limo for you and your date," Eric revealed. "It'll probably be here any minute." His sudden, beaming grin showed he was obviously quite proud of himself. "The dress...the necklace...and now a limo? Eric, you're the best! You sure know how to make a woman feel special!" she enthused, echoing her earlier thoughts. Zerrafina leaned in and gave Eric another affectionate squeeze, but this time she tried hard to restricted it to the realm of sibling affections. Eric returned the sentiment gladly and basked in the glow of her affection toward him. "Tell her she's worth it!" Eric's mind screamed at him with a powerful intensity that demanded to be obeyed. "Tell her nothing is more important to you than she is! Tell her she means everything to you! Tell her you goddamn love her more than life itself! Tell her you fool! It's now or fricking never!" Eric's heart was pounding in his chest like a jack hammer as he screwed up his courage. He opened his suddenly dry mouth to begin forming the words. Zerra relesed her embrace and stepped back from her brother. The sudden, inexplicable change in the tack of Eric's demeanor let her sense something momentous was about to happen. "I..." Eric began. Zerrafina peered intensely into her brother's pale blues as her emerald greens seemed to glitter in the light. Her brother had become so very quickly and acutely serious, and it had the young woman intrigued. Their eyes locked so completely and deeply Eric felt as though his soul were touching that of his sister. He could see the future in her eyes, a long and wonderful road of profound happiness without end. The doorbell rang loudly and shattered the spell before Eric could form the words he desired to speak. He flinched in surprise, and his mouth clamped shut. "What is it Eric?" Zerra demanded in a quiet, almost desperate voice. "What were you going to say?" Eric stood there in shock and rapidly blinked his eyes twice before looking away. He couldn't believe it. He was about to tell her. He was really going to spill it all to Zerra and tell her everything about how he felt. His mind raced in terror at what he'd almost done. "I think your date's here," he responded instead and walked away to answer the door. "Wasn't his name Todd?" "Yeah...Todd," Zerra confirmed, and she felt a sudden melancholy that such a seemingly significant event had passed unfulfilled. "I just know he was going to say something Earth-shattering. I've never seen that serious of a look on Eric's face before. Was he...? Was he going to...confess something to me? Could it be...?" Zerrafina's mind raced at the thought as she watched her brother exit the living room to answer the door. He almost looked...shaky? Her heart soared as, for the first time, she fervently considered something she'd never thought possible. "All those uncomfortable looks he'd get over the years when I'd touch him just a little too close or say something a bit off the wall and kinky. Was it because...because he feels the same way I do but is afraid to say it? After all, he never has told me to stop being so touchy-feely. And I swear there were a few times when I caught him checking me out. And the way he was just now. He's faced down everything life's thrown at him without flinching. What else could frighten him like that?" The bell rang again, and Eric said loudly, "Coming! Just a moment!" Zerra couldn't see the entryway from the living room, but she could hear the front door open and hear Todd greet Eric. "Hey, bro!" Eric quickly sized up Zerrafina's date. He estimated the boy was about 6 feet tall, judging him to be about 2 inches shorter than his own height. Todd seemed athletic, though it was hard to tell through the black tuxedo he wore. It was more about how he carried himself and his self-assured expression. It was the arrogance of a youth who was strong and fast and knew it, a kid who thought he was invincible. "Didn't Zerra say he was on the football team?" Eric recalled. Todd's hair was short, curly, and blonde, and medium blue eyes were set above a nose that was just a touch too long. He had boyish good looks that would probably begin to leave him in a decade or so as the pressures and weights of life slowly eroded his will. "Hello Todd. I'm Zerra's brother, Eric," he greeted the boy as formally as possible, trying to keep his disdain from tainting his voice. "I see the limousine found your house just fine." "Sure thing," Todd nodded. "Thanks for that. The other guys are gonna be so jelly. That Jeeves is a funny guy by the way. He knows some good jokes." "The chauffeur's name is James," Eric corrected. "Anyway, nice to meet you." Zerra's brother extended a hand to his sister's prom date. "Yeah. You too, man," Todd reciprocated and took Eric's offer of a handshake. "Zerra talks about you a lot." Eric squeezed as he shook, though not so hard as to hurt the kid. Just hard enough to give Todd an idea of the strength of the man whose sister he was taking to the Senior Prom. "Hurt one hair on her head and I'll snap you in half like a twig," Eric thought as he smiled innocently. "Come on in," Eric offered as he relinquished the shake and stepped to one side. "Zerrafina's in the living room to the left through that archway." "Thanks," Todd said, relieved to be free of Eric's iron grip. "This is a nice place you have here." Todd rubbernecked on his way to the living room. Eric couldn't help but feel an acute jealousy as he followed. "Oh wow!" Todd exclaimed when he saw his date. "You are one smokin' hot girl. Here...I got this for you." The teenage boy held out a red rose corsage and said, "It goes on your wrist." Zerrafina was unresponsive as she stared almost absentmindedly at the floor and the plush, white carpeting of the living room with wild thoughts galloping through her mind. She had half her lower lip between her teeth and worried it gently. "She only ever does that when she has something really heavy on her mind," Eric noted, knowing his sister's mannerisms very well. "Zerra?" Eric queried. "Everything alright?" The young woman looked up as she realized she'd just heard her own name uttered twice. "Oh...thank you, Todd!" she said as she saw the corsage and held out her left arm. "Sorry. I was trying to remember where I left my purse." Zerra's date, Todd, slipped the floral accessory onto her wrist and commented, "You are such a blonde. It's right there on the coffee table." She looked over already knowing exactly where her purse had been sitting, and said, "Oh. Sure enough. If it had been a snake it would've bit me." Zerrafina snatched up her black leather handbag and lengthened the strap so she could sling it over one shoulder. "Sooooo," Todd asked, dragging out the first word, "are you ready to get this show on the road?" "I am. Let me say goodnight to Eric then we can go," Zerra requested, but she didn't wait for an answer before turning to Eric. "Be safe and have fun," Eric told his baby sister with as much sincerity as possible despite wishing he were in Todd's place. "I will," she promised on both counts as she gave her brother a tender hug goodbye. "Oh how I wish it were you taking me to the prom tonight, Eric." "Later, bro," Todd said as he took Zerra's hand, and the pair left for the limo. As the door clicked shut the sound reminded Eric of that time from two years ago, and he wondered if this was the beginning of Zerrafina being taken away from him again. His mind was swimming with conflicted thoughts and feelings. There was no way he'd be able to relax or sleep later tonight considering the state his head was in. There was only one thing to do. Eric headed to his room and quickly stripped off his work clothes and laid them on his bed before throwing on a pair of running shorts. He walked purposefully to the basement stairs and descended to where his weight lifting equipment was set up. He felt both mentally and physically shaky, and he wanted some hard music to help calm his spirit and divert his attention. Stepping over to the nearby shelf stereo, Eric began to rifle through the small collection of discs he had nearby for just such a purpose. Most of the music was very heavy and aggresive with angry lyrics and powerful, crunching electric guitars with lots of distortion. It was, in short, the perfect music to listen to while pumping iron. He finally settled on a disc, popped it into the small but robust shelf stereo, cranked up the volume, and pressed play. Eric was so worked up he forgot about his normal stretching and warm up routine, and instead simply hit the weights with a ferocious fervor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a bit past 11 pm when the limousine pulled up to the Monroe residence. The night had long ago spread it's cloak of darkness over the world, but the front porch light shone like a beacon in the wilderness to Zerra's eye. Zerrafina's heart was beating rapidly. She had made up her mind during the prom. She finally felt ready to take her relationship with Eric to another level, a place she was certain he wanted to go as well. Zerra had had several hours to come to this decision, each minute an eternity as she counted down the time until she could gracefully bow out of the night's activities without seeming ungracious. Todd had been disappointed that Zerrafina was done for the evening, but she knew he'd get over it. It's not like they were dating or anything. The Senior Prom was to be their first and last date. The chauffer, James, wished Zerra a good night as she exited the rear of the long, black vehicle. The nervous young woman made what seemed like the longest walk of her life as she strode the steps to the front door of her house. A terrible doubt crept into her thoughts like a burglar breaking into a house - uninvited and unwelcome. "What if I'm wrong? What if he's disgusted with me for being a perv and leaves or kicks me out? What if what I'm about to do ruins everything good between us? Oh, what am I doing?" The teenager paused with her hand poised above the doorknob. She was shaking like a leaf and had trouble aiming the key at the lock. She reminded herself that this was no time for half-measures. Zerrafina gritted her teeth in determination and promised herself that one way or another she was going to see this through. "But...I'm not wrong. I can't be. I already figured this out." It had been like a putting together a puzzle when you didn't have the box it came in, when you couldn't see what it was supposed to look like. Zerra had spent her mental energies all through the prom pushing and fitting all those pieces of she and Eric's shared lives together, and she was certain she was right. She forced down all the doubt, all her second guessing. "I have to have faith. Be confident. Be sexy. I know I'm right." "Eric...?" the eager young woman called out expectantly as she entered her home and locked the front door behind herself. A quick survey showed the living room was empty, as was the kitchen. Eric's bedroom door was open, and the light was on. "Eric?" she called again. "Maybe he's in his room," Zerra guessed. She climbed the steps to the second floor landing and headed down the hallway. Peering into her brother's room Zerrafina saw that Eric wasn't within. His work clothes were folded and laid neatly upon his bed, though. "That's not like him to leave them just laying there," she commented quietly to herself. "Huh. Maybe he actually went out tonight." Zerra felt a bitter disappointment beginning to gnaw at her core, though she couldn't figure why her brother would've left the house. It wasn't like Eric to go anywhere this late, even on a weekend. Her brother didn't drink, and she knew he found bars to be too noisy and crowded for his liking. "I suppose I'll just change and go to bed," Zerra sighed to herself in a downtrodden tone. "So much for my plan to seduce Eric," she thought with sadness. The young woman travelled one door further down to her own room. She was just about to begin undressing herself when she heard the soft burbling of the hot tub through her opened bedroom window. She had to stifle an excited shout as she realized her brother was home. Zerra ran to her bedroom window and pushed aside the curtains. Sure enough, there he was soaking in the heated, bubbling water in the hot tub. It was positioned in a far corner of their house's expansive rear deck. He was relaxing on the far side of the tub with his eyes closed and his body facing toward Zerra and the rear of the house. "Hi Eric!" she called down. "I'm glad you're still awake." Eric opened his eyes and took a moment to realize his sister was upstair speaking from her bedroom window. "Oh, hey Zerra!" he said with a smile. "How was your night?" "It was good. I'll be down in a minute so we can talk," she answered. "Just hang tight a sec, okay?" "Alright," Eric nodded. The excited Zerra pulled the curtains closed before heading to her dresser. She rifled briefly through one of the drawers until she found what she was looking for. It was still on it's hanger with the store tags dangling from the thin, silky fabric. "This is perfect," she said with a broad grin. Down below, soaking in the hot tub after his vigorous workout session, Eric waited patiently. He was glad his sister had made it home safely and wondered how her night went. He honestly hadn't expected her home so soon, but he wasn't disappointed to hear her voice when she'd called his name. Zerrafina had sounded excited to see he hadn't gone to sleep yet, and Eric couldn't help but wonder what was on her mind. A few minutes passed and then a few more. Eric began to be puzzled at what was taking his sister so long when the sliding glass door opened and Zerrafina emerged from within. Eric's eyes widened slightly as a look of bewilderment overtook his features. His sister stepped from the house wearing a dark green and very skimpy two-piece swim suit. The top consisted of two small triangles positioned over her firm, young breasts and only half covered them. Strings the width of a shoelace held together the meager coverings and travelled around her back and over her shoulders. Eric could clearly see the Zerra's gorgeous cleavage as well as the sides of her luscious bust. The bottoms were much the same, barely covering her pussy and clearly outlining the shape of her pubic area. Zerrafina saw his eyes locked upon her body, and the utter amazement at her beauty was etched across his face. She gave her brother a slight, enigmatic smile. "I saw this at the mall last weekend and just had to have it. Do you like it?" she asked her star-struck brother as she twirled around slowly to show off her nearly naked figure for him. Eric finally realized he was staring more intensely than a brother should and looked away. His face flushed red with a mixture of sexual arousal and embarrassment. "Yeah, it's really nice," he said in a small, quiet voice as he tried to keep his desire hidden by pretending to look at the hot tub controls. Eric felt the blood building within his manhood as he fiddled with a knob on the panel, but he didn't fight the erection back down this time. The multitude of bubbles inside the swirling water would cover his bulging swim trunks. His hard-on grew rapidly and pulsed in time with his throbbing heartbeat. The flustered young man looked back up to see Zerrafina walk slowly toward the hot tub and lower herself with a sultry slowness into the vortex of water.
