The few times he got him to talk about it, Josh only reiterated how he considered the problem entirely her making and therefore hers to deal with. The only communication that had occurred between the two had been the blunt note Josh had handwritten the night after the coming out fiasco. He had asked Kyle to read it before it was mailed to her at the farm. Even though he was extremely impressed by the intensely deep message behind the words Josh had used, he wondered yet again if he should have suggested it not be sent. Once more, while Josh was at work, Kyle repeated them to himself...so well memorized it was as if the paper was right there in front of him. Disapproved! An unnatural act. A deep dark transgression. A burning pain within your child's soul. Not about them. It's about you and your nefarious and unprincipled attitudes. You, a parent, have forsaken your child because of a difference between their's and your tiny, close-minded world. You say you disapprove. You disapprove of what? Your child for being himself? For daring to love and be loved back? You reply: "It's unnatural." How can you say it so coldly and without feeling? Unnatural in your eyes perhaps. But not as unnatural in their eyes, the desertion of your love seems to them. Your child, unchanged, still loves you. And if for this overall insignificant part of their life you stop loving them...then I am the one that must disapprove! Kyle shuddered again, as he always did when he remembered the words. Tomorrow the two of them were flying to New York and he already knew what kind of reception would greet them. Kyle's parents had only talked to his boyfriend on the phone a few times, but he had already been fully accepted. He had wanted Josh to make peace with his mother before the trip, but the pleas fell on deaf ears every time. 'Damn how I love him, but he is so stubborn sometimes,' was the thought he was having when his cell phone buzzed. "What are you up to stud? Watching hockey porn again?" came from Josh with a chuckle. Kyle laughed back and replied, "Nah. This was my night for surfing smut sites for pizza delivery boy movies. They've got me thinking about ordering one and seeing if I can get lucky." "So call the shop and order one. I'm on my last delivery now, but would be willing to make one more...if breakfast comes as part of the tip." "You're too easy baby. At least make me work for it." "Oh don't worry. You will be doing some work if I have my way," Josh seductively purred. He laughed again and promised to bring home dinner before disconnecting from the call. As Kyle stared at the phone in his hand, he thought: 'Maybe he is handling this mess with his mother okay and I need to stop worrying so much.' * * * * * Josh closed his cell phone and pitched it to the passenger seat as he pulled out of the customer's driveway and headed back towards Capitol Highway. Even though this final drop off for the night had been at the far edge of the shop's delivery area, it went to a regular customer that always tipped very well. It also gave him time to think on the way back. As had so often entered his mind the past weeks, he kept hearing his Mom viciously use the term 'faggot' in her reference to Kyle. He had talked several times to his Dad, his Grandparents, and both his older brothers...all of them reassuring him of their love and that his Mom did too. He angrily smacked the steering wheel hard with his fist and actually yelled at the windshield. "Fuckin' bullshit!" The next words in his mind were the same ones he had used every time any of his family had brought his Mom into the conversation. 'When she tells me that herself, and that she accepts both me and Kyle, then I might believe it. Until then, I am as much a faggot as he is to her.' As if by divine intervention, the Honda's radio suddenly began playing the Macklemore and Lewis chart buster 'Same Love' and Josh turned it up full blast. He sang along with the chorus each time as if he was singing it to his Mom. 'And I can't change. Even if I tried. Even if I wanted to.' By the time the final verse of the song was playing, Josh was choking back tears as he parroted the words. 'Whatever God you believe in, we all come from the same one. Strip away the fear, underneath, it's all the same love.' He shook his head as he turned the volume back down and once again spoke to the dead air in the car: "Why can't you just give it to God, Mom? He will tell you the right answers if you do. Then we can be a family again." * * * * * Josh found Kyle in the bedroom when he got back to the house on the bay. Two suitcases were opened on the bed and Kyle was busy filling one. "Hey baby," he began as he looked at the empty one. "I wasn't sure what all you wanted to take, so I didn't pack yours." He grinned and took the warm pizza box from Josh's hands. "Guess I will eat and watch you get things together. We do have an early flight in the morning you know." Josh grinned back before saying, "Yeah I know. But I assumed you would pick out my stuff so I would make a good impression on your family." Kyle pulled him into a hug. "Only impression you will need to make is you being you. Your clothes aren't important." He paused and then added, "Well, other than make sure you pack your dress suit and at least one nice shirt and tie. I know Dad and he will insist on us all going out to at least one formal dinner at a nice place while we are there. Probably the country club." Josh scrunched up his nose. "That's part of the test, isn't it? See if I can fit in with the rest of the rich people?" Kyle rolled his eyes. "Joshie. My family may have money, but they are far what being what you think rich people are like. Dad would just as soon go fishing in a pair of ratty shorts and a stained tee shirt, as play golf or tennis. The only reason he even belongs to the club is for the business contacts. And if you give Mom a choice, she will pick bingo at the church social hall over any snooty Saturday night cocktail party." Before biting into a slice of pizza, he finished with, "Plus, you passed the test with them the minute I told them I was in love with you." Kyle managed to chew and smile sincerely at the same time. "Well at least tell me 'yes' or 'no' as I pick things out. Okay?" The question only got him a head nod as Kyle picked up another slice of pizza. In less than a half hour, both Kyle's stomach and Josh's suitcase were full. "You did call your parents and tell them you were going to New York, didn't you?" Kyle finally queried. "I called and told Dad," was the initial answer Josh gave back. "I assume he told her," followed. "Good," Kyle simply replied. But he quivered inside a little at the completely generic way Josh had once again referred to his mother. Ever since getting back home from the disastrous visit, Josh only used pronouns when talking about her. 'She won't be my 'Mom' again until she apologizes for what she said about you,' had been his explanation. Kyle had given up trying to get him to make the first effort at negotiating peace, and Mrs. Thomas seemed to be just as stubborn as her youngest son and unwilling to make the opening move. Even though Josh presented a strong front, Kyle knew the rift between them was breaking his heart. It broke Kyle's heart too, because he couldn't figure out a way to help. Kyle's thoughts were interrupted when Josh asked, "So what time do we have to leave for the airport in the morning?" "The commuter to Atlanta is at 9:15 and we need to be there by 8 to check in. It's only about fifteen minutes to the airport, but we have to walk in from the long term parking area too...so you do the math." Josh looked at the alarm clock, saw it was already well past midnight, and moaned at the thought of how short a night it was going to be. Since he was going to be gone for a week, he had worked a double shift at the shop and was really tired. As he helped move the suitcases to the floor so they could get in bed, for the first time he could ever remember, he hoped Kyle wasn't horny. * * * * * Once the boys found their assigned seats on the twin prop commuter, Kyle suggested that Josh take the window seat. He knew it was going to be his lover's first flight and wanted him to be able to enjoy the view. Josh merely shrugged and slid into the seat that looked far more comfortable than it actually was. As he looked around the interior of the small craft, he asked, "We are going to change to a bigger plane in Atlanta, right?" Kyle grinned and placed his hand over Josh's. "You aren't nervous, are you?" "Just a little," he admitted. "When I think of airplanes, I just think of big ones and this thing is barely bigger than the Hummer." "Yeah but the Hummer doesn't have wings or able to get us to Atlanta in an hour." Kyle paused and then added, "Just remember you are safer flying in this, than all the driving you do each night hustling pizzas." He hoped the comforting smile on his face helped reinforce the words. The combination must have worked to an extent. As the plane rolled down the runway a few minutes later and hopped into the air, Josh had his fingernails digging into the arm rest, but his head was pasted to the window taking in a view of Pensacola like he had never seen before. The entire huge university campus was right below them at first. Then Kyle pointed out the home they shared from high in the sky. As the plane made the turn from out over the Gulf to make its way north, the white beaches below seemed to stretch forever. Once they lifted through the clouds, Josh settled back in the seat and relaxed. "Not as bad as I thought it would be," was the way he confessed that he had been more than a little nervous about his first takeoff. By the time the puddle jumper was on final approach in Atlanta, Josh had adapted to flying so well that he was too busy excitedly surveying the scenery below to pay attention to the crosswinds buffeting the small plane. He also was missing Kyle's comments about the short layover and preparing him for the dash across the humongous airport to make their connecting flight. Kyle could barely contain his laughter later when Josh stared at the underground train they would be riding to the next terminal and half seriously stated, "I thought we were taking a plane to New York...not a subway!" * * * * * "Okay. Now that is more like a real plane to me," was the critique Josh offered as he and Kyle stood looking at the gleaming 737 through the boarding gate windows. "It won't bump around like that little one did, will it?" Kyle smiled as he remembered how Josh had grabbed his hand every time the least bit of normal turbulence had worried him. "Nah. Flying in a big jet is like riding in a limo on a smooth road. Lots bigger and more comfortable inside too. And from the looks of the small crowd here waiting, we might just have half the thing to ourselves." His eyes twinkled at the thought and he dismissed Josh's question about what he was suddenly grinning about with, "Tell you after we take off. Trust me." "One of these days Kyle..." The rest of Josh's words were cut off by the announcement that called their rows to the plane. They quickly entered the jetway portal and thanked the stewardess that welcomed them aboard. The cute steward inside the coach cabin winked at them knowingly and told them the flight was a light one passenger wise, and to just sit anywhere. Kyle directed Josh to seats a little over halfway back in the spacious cabin and they settled in quickly. All the other travelers picked seats closer to the front. "Just a couple more hours, right Kyle?" "About two and a half. We'll have to find something to keep us occupied." The statement included another grin but Kyle didn't let Josh in on what he had planned. It wasn't many minutes later when the big jet roared down the runway. After the front wheels lifted from the tarmac, Josh was again smiling and looking out the window. As the wing wheels broke contact with the earth though, he inhaled deep and grabbed Kyle's hand as the nose seemed to suddenly be pointing straight up. Kyle held back a snicker as Josh let out, "Whoooa! You forgot to warn me about this part of the roller coaster!" "Don't worry, Josh. We aren't going to the moon. Just something around six miles up is all. Plus we will be able to get up and move around once we hit cruising altitude. I've got something to show you then." He grinned yet again and Josh went back to looking out the window checking out the earth rapidly falling away from the plane. * * * * * They had been in the air for close to an hour and Kyle had yet to bring up what he wanted to show Josh. He didn't think too much about it since he had already been up wandering around and figured he had already seen everything he could on his first real jet ride anyway. Right now, he was thirsty again from eating yet another bag of salty peanuts and wanting another can of Coke. When he mentioned it, Kyle looked back the aisle and saw the beverage cart sitting out at the edge of the flight attendant's galley. "Let's go back and talk Bruce out of a couple more," was the suggestion Kyle made as he stood up and took Josh's hand. "Come on baby...surprise time," was added along with one more big grin. When they got to the back of the plane, the young steward they had made friends with handed them two cold cans and said, "Make yourselves at home while I make another run with the booze wagon. That bunch up front there will probably keep me busy for fifteen or twenty minutes." Josh missed the winks he and Kyle shared as he walked away pushing the full cart. Before Josh could pop the tab of his can, Kyle yanked open the door on one of the lavatories across from the galley and dragged Josh inside. Once he had slid the bolt to both secure the door and move the 'Occupied' notice in place, he turned to Josh and pulled him into an embrace. Since they had skipped sex both last night and that morning, it took no time at all for their kissing to progress to hands roaming all over each other and having their hips grinding together. As Kyle undid Josh's jeans and began pushing them down, he whispered with lust in his voice. "This is going to be a first for both of us, baby." Josh only stood there, half confused at first with his pants and underwear suddenly around his feet in the cramped space. Then as Kyle rapidly unzipped and slipped his own jeans and boxers down, the light bulb went on over his head. As Kyle grinned and sat his bare ass down on the closed toilet lid, Josh grinned just as wide and asked, "No shit Kyle? We're gonna join the Mile High Club?" Even though it came out as a question, Josh already knew the answer and managed to straddle Kyle's long legs and lower his naked butt onto his lover's crotch. As Kyle ran his hands up under Josh's polo and pinched his nipples, he rhetorically questioned, "I take it those little moans you are making means you wanna?" "Uh huh," Josh replied enthusiastically as he worked his ass cheeks against Kyle's erection. "Just the idea of you fucking me like this...right here...right now...has me so turned on." He knew from the way Kyle was already dry humping up into him that he wasn't the only one that was experiencing a new level of excitement. The only other words he offered as his hand slipped behind him to help Kyle find and pierce his entrance, was, "I think this is gonna be turbulence I'm gonna like." After that, words were impossible as their mouths locked together and remained that way making oral love as Josh bounced on the cock filling him. Even the deep moans that tried to escape when their balls soon forewarned the joint orgasms, were well muffled by their battling tongues and conjoined lips. One final hard bounce of Josh's butt caused Kyle's dam to burst and as he felt the waves of warm seed filling him, Josh's own built-up eruption shot up Kyle's chest. 'Good thing he yanked that golf shirt up behind his head,' he managed to think as he covered Kyle's pecs and abs in white cream. After a short bit of afterglow, they kissed one more time and then cleaned up best they could. Josh used a wet paper towel to dab away a few spots that had gotten on his polo while Kyle wiped away the rope of Josh's life fluid that had managed to end up in his dark bangs. "I swear I never know where I am going to find your cum, baby," he teased. Josh only grinned at him because he knew Kyle enjoyed making him come like a loose garden hose spraying everywhere. Kyle stepped out of the small lavatory first and Josh flushed deeply when he followed and saw Bruce the steward standing in the plane's galley staring at them. Maintaining his professionalism, Bruce offered them both a couple extra packets of peanuts, but the smile on his face said he knew other appetites had already been satiated also. "We'll be landing in Buffalo in about twenty minutes. Hope your flight has been as enjoyable as I think it was." The verbal hint was all he said until he stopped by their seats just before the plane went to final approach. Josh blushed again, and even Kyle turned a deep shade of red too, when Bruce pinned a set of plastic pilot wings they usually give to kids to each of their shirts and quietly said, "You are such a cute couple. Welcome to the club, my brothers." * * * * * "Stop being so nervous, baby," Kyle instructed as the plane taxied up to the terminal. Josh had been squeezing his hand tightly and fidgeting in the seat ever since the plane touched down. "You are already part of the family as far as they are concerned." "I know, Kyle, but..." "There are no 'buts' Josh. They know we are a couple and they know we are going to get married." "Yeah, someday. Until then I am just your boyfriend though." Kyle smiled and thought long before answering that comment. "I'm leaving when 'someday' happens up to you, baby. You know I'm ready." "So am I, Kyle." He paused to plant a kiss on Kyle's cheek and then suddenly his eyes went wide. "Wait! We are in New York now. It's legal for us here, isn't it?" Kyle grinned and only offered back, "Yes, it is. Let's get off this thing and talk about that later though. You need to meet the futures right now." It was a short walk through the jet's cabins and up the enclosed ramp attached to the terminal. As they made their way to where arriving passengers were able to be met, Josh kept daydreaming about the possibilities. He remained silent as they walked but was thinking: 'Mom freaked over finding out I am gay. Wonder if telling her we are legally married would be any worse?' His next thought was: 'Show time' as he heard a chorus of voices shouting out Kyle's name. By the time the entire immediate Roberts family was piling into the large Mercedes sedan in the parking lot, Kyle was still wearing the smile that had been on his face since he introduced Josh to his parents and two sisters. He knew Josh was almost embarrassed by the instant acceptance and all the hugs he received. More importantly though, he also knew the unconditional love they had all shown him, relaxed Josh greatly. He loosened up even more after Beth, who was seventeen and the older of the two sisters, looked over at him in the back seat and then told Kyle very matter-of-factly: "He is too cute to be stuck with you, big brother." Fifteen-year-old Susan, chimed in also with: "Uh huh. Hunk city. And I like older guys." Mrs. Roberts even offered, "Well if I was thirty years younger..." and left the rest of the sentence to everyone's imagination. As everyone in the car laughed, Kyle pulled Josh into a protective hug and warned, "Back off you three. This one is already spoken for." Pizza Boy at the Door Ch. 19 Josh grinned and then shrugged his shoulders at the women. "Sorry. But he's right." In his mind he was already coveting this kind of relationship with his own family...especially his mother. But he didn't dwell on what was missing from his life since the rest of the ride back to the house in Rochester was filled with Kyle's family trying to outdo each other with stories he had never yet heard about the man he loved. * * * * * Josh let out an audible gasp when the big luxury car turned into the long driveway and saw the mammoth house at the end of it. He leaned into Kyle and whispered quite seriously, "Is this their house or the country club?" Kyle laughed lightly as the Mercedes stopped in front of the three-car garage. After they had exited the car, he answered with, "It is a little ostentatious, but it's what we call home. Don't let it influence you though...we are about as average-all-American-family as it gets as far as what really matters in life." Josh stood and looked in awe at the gigantic dwelling. "But it has to be three times bigger than the house in Florida. And I thought that one was huge. Da~damn!" "Not quite, baby. Plus ours in Pensacola doesn't have a pool or tennis court," he teased with a large grin. Josh grinned back but added with some trepidation, "You aren't kidding, are you, Kyle?" "You'll see when I give you the grand tour," he began. "And I'll even show you the vineyards, the polo ponies, and the servant cottages." When he saw the newest expression on Josh's face, he couldn't help but add with an obviously heavy dose of sarcasm, "Might even be able to talk our pilot into taking us up in the helicopter later." Josh popped his fist into Kyle's shoulder. "Stop it! I'm not sure how serious you are and you are making me nervous." Kyle hugged Josh and said, "Baby. It's just a big house with a pool in a golf course subdivision. Not the Taj Mahal. More importantly, it isn't who I am. I've already told you I would rather have an old farmhouse in the country...something like your parent's place." "But you grew up in something like this..." Josh sputtered. "Only because Dad is in the real estate business and picked it up for a song years ago. He has always said that this was little more than a prudent investment. Home was what lived in our hearts; not bricks and stucco and a couple acres of grass to mow." Josh tried to appear placated, but as they carried the luggage into the entrance foyer, the fear that he was so far out of his realm kept niggling at his mind. It escalated when they Kyle opened the door to what was still considered 'his room' and Josh saw a bedroom that most any teenager...or adult...would kill to have. Enormous. Private bathroom. Giant entertainment center with all the electronic goodies. Even it's own deck. In spite of the promised tour that followed only resulted in seeing a large, in-ground pool and small pool house, Josh was still caught between impressed and fearful. His thoughts raged behind pinched lips. 'He is rich. Really rich. And you are just a poor country boy that has to deliver pizzas to get through college. How can you possibly be what he really wants?' Kyle could sense the uneasiness even though he wasn't certain what exactly was the cause. He pulled Josh into an embrace and after softly kissing him on the lips, he murmured, "Just look past all this bullshit baby. All that matters is that we love each other and we will be back in our home in a week." The smile from Kyle got one in return as Josh's apprehensions eased up some. "Okay Kyle. I do love you, so I guess I will adapt to all this eventually." "The only thing you need to adapt to if you haven't already, is the idea of us spending the rest of our lives together." Josh stepped back and looked at Kyle. "You think I haven't? It's about all I ever think about anymore, babe." Josh paused and looked around the huge room again. "I just worry that...that..." "What? That I wasn't completely serious when I asked you to marry me on the cruise?" "I'm pretty certain you were...but when I see all this, I have to wonder 'why me?'" "Why you? Maybe because we were destined to be soul mates and God put us together. That's a good enough 'why you' for me." He smiled and planted a kiss on Josh's nose. "Let's change and take a swim before dinner. Work off some of that tension you have built up before meeting the grandparents tonight, too. You did hear Mom mention they were coming, didn't you?" Josh nodded before asking, "You really sure they will like me, Kyle?" "I know they won't like you baby. They will love you. Trust me!" He then slapped Josh on the butt and began to undress. A smirk was on Kyle's face as Josh began stripping down too. "We'll have to wear suits now, but maybe after it gets dark and everyone goes to bed, we can go skinny dipping if you want." He accented the suggestion by a rapid wiggle of his eyebrows and lick of his lips. Josh answered with an equally lustful leer back and grab at Kyle's flaccid cock flopping between his thighs. "You are such a perv. But you are my perv." * * * * * By the time the Josh crawled into bed beside him, Kyle could sense that most all of his earlier apprehensions had disappeared. The evening couldn't have worked out any more perfect. Dinner with his entire extended family had gone perfectly. Just as he had predicted, all three grandparents smothered Josh in love and acceptance. "Just make sure I get to be in the front row on the steps after the wedding. I'm old and can't throw rice that far anymore," had been the way Grandma Roberts had simultaneously made Josh both smile and blush. Following the meal, the whole group adjourned to the spacious family room and talked while they taught Josh how to play canasta. The looks he kept giving Josh said only one thing: 'Told you we were a typical family.' Just as the little gathering was breaking up, Kyle didn't miss Grandma Roberts pull Josh to the side and talk in hushed tones with him. Nor did he miss her press something into Josh's hand when he nodded his head at her. What she had given Josh was a mystery though. "I'll tell you later," Josh said to Kyle through misting eyes when asked. The late night skinny dip in the pool had helped too. The heavy clouds hid the moon and it took little to further convince Josh that they had total privacy when Kyle pinned him to the pool wall in the shallow end and began grinding against his hips. Once both were sporting erections, Kyle purred, "Hold on to the wall and enjoy," just before he inhaled deep and slipped beneath the water. He could feel Josh squirming as he gave him his first underwater blow job. When he resurfaced with his mouth full of Josh's seed, he immediately pasted their lips together and he took up a rhythmic hip grind as they kissed passionately. Kyle had been masturbating while fellating his lover, so it didn't take long for him to feel the movement of his own fluid. He moaned deeply into Josh's mouth and pinned himself even tighter to Josh's crotch as his cock exploded on their stomachs. Josh had burst into laughter when he saw the globs of sperm floating on the surface. Kyle only deadpanned, "Remind me to toss some extra chlorine in this end before we go up to bed." As they snuggled together in the bed, Kyle remembered his Grandmother slipping something to Josh. "It almost made you cry, baby. What the hell did she give you?" "Something for when we get married," was the cryptic answer Josh gave as his eyes misted up again. "As in?" Kyle asked. "Your grandfather's wedding ring. She said you always liked it and it would be one less one we would have to buy." Kyle pinched his eyes shut. He knew that not only had his Grandmother gifted both of them something that was very precious to her, but how that act had sealed in Josh's mind just how much the two of them being together had been accepted. "Guess we have to find one for you now then, don't we?" He planted a soft smooch on Josh's nose and then added, "Maybe yet this week." Josh smiled at him and said, "You told me to say 'when'...well...I am ready. Let's make it legal." * * * * * The next day was mainly taken up by Kyle giving Josh the grand tour of the city he had grown up in. He drove them around in the BMW he had borrowed from his Mom and showed off the schools he had attended, the year-round ice rink where he had played hockey, the couple of apartment complexes the family owned, and even a drive through the nearby countryside. As they came back into town and Josh saw the mall, he looked at Kyle. "Let's do a little shopping, babe." Kyle glanced over and saw him twirling the Rochester High School ring on his finger. "Maybe find me something more appropriate so I can give this one back to you?" he suggested with a grin. An hour later, they were pulling out of the mall parking lot and Josh was staring at the band of platinum and gold that was perched on the red velvet in the open box in his hand. "It is so beautiful Kyle. But it cost so much. I am going to be afraid to wear it." "Well speaking of 'wearing it'...you don't get to until I slip it on that finger at the proper time." He let a dramatic pause hang in the air and then spoke again. "How does day after tomorrow sound to you?" Josh snapped his head to the left and sputtered out, "You mean it Kyle? Really mean it? Legal and everything married that quick?" Kyle grinned and placed his hand over Josh's. "Yeah I do. You said you are ready and so am I. We have to wait twenty-four hours after we get the license, so that's the quickest we can do it." He squeezed his hand and asked, "Sure you still want to, baby?" Josh leaned over and kissed Kyle's cheek. "More than anything else, babe." Suddenly a look of confusion crossed his face. "But what about our dream of a fancy wedding. And our families! Shouldn't we..." "We can have a wedding later. Maybe a really nice one at the church in Pensacola. This would just be taking advantage of being in New York this week and being able to do it officially. Who knows how long it will be before it's legal in Florida, and if you are going to slip that other ring on my finger, I want the paper that says you can't just up and run off with Zac Efron on me." Josh laughed and said, "Zac who?" He was so involved in the discussion that he didn't notice they were driving back into the countryside again. Kyle laughed also, and then cautioned, "I do want to wait until we have done it to tell my parents though. They can play any part they want in a wedding, but I want the legal ceremony to be just for us. We can tell them at the country club dinner Dad has planned for Friday." 'Yeah and we have to get my Mom to accept us first, too.' Josh thought to himself. "So what do we have to do, Kyle?" Kyle didn't answer him with anything but 'Trust me' and a grin until he pulled into a parking stall in front of the city clerk's office in Fairport. The little town was a few miles east of Rochester and for many reasons, Kyle hoped it reminded Josh of his own hometown. He shut off the car and looked seriously at Josh. "If you are certain baby, this is where we get the license." The smile on his face was a hopeful one. "Race you to the door is how certain I am!" Josh replied before opening the passenger door and hopping out. The words were said in jest though and he simply stepped to the curb and patiently waited for Kyle to join him. Less than a half hour later, they were headed back towards the house with Josh staring at their marriage license as if the piece of paper would vanish if he took his eyes off of it. * * * * * Kyle had obviously thought everything through in advance. He told his parents he was taking Josh up to see Toronto, and then spending another day and night at Niagara Falls. The only thing he left out was the plan to make a quick trip back across the bridge to New York to get married before heading back into Canada for the same spot millions of others had spent their first night together as a legal couple. He had been very happy when Josh commented on how much he liked the idea and snickered when he added, "Honeymoon at Niagara Falls...how much more romantically cliché can this be?" Kyle only smiled and hoped the plans he had made were both romantic and anything but cliché. The first day included showing off all the standard tourist sights of the Canadian city. Josh was most impressed by the views where they had lunch at the revolving '360 Restaurant' high atop the CN Tower. They picked up a few items while shopping at Eaton Centre, the gigantic mall in the middle of downtown Toronto, and then took a walking tour of the old churches. By the time they got to their hotel, both were tired and decided to make it an early night. One other thing their mind meld decided for them, was to forego sex that night and instead save their passion for the next night...when they would be true husbands. It didn't take much to have Josh up and moving early. He had kissed Kyle and then flopped out of bed almost as soon as the sun came up. "Come on lazy. It's our wedding day." A lascivious grin spread across his face as he teased, "We can spend time in bed later. After I've made an honest man out of you." Kyle looked at Josh standing naked and fully erect beside the bed. He laughed and teased back with, "You sure you can walk down the aisle with that hunk of morning wood, baby?" Josh stuck his tongue out at him. "From the way your hard dick was jammed into my back most of the night, I doubt if I am the only one here with a wake-up-boner problem. Want to chance sharing the shower?" Kyle flipped the sheet off and waved his at-attention flesh pole at him. "Sure. No problem. I'm just making sure the blood flow is working like it should." He licked his lips as he stared at Josh's nude body. "I'll be good in the shower if you will too. Now later today, I promise nothing!" * * * * * Kyle deflected every attempt by Josh to find out what the exact plan was the entire two hour trip back to the bridge at the United States-Canada border. "You challenged me to come up with something more romantic and less cliché than just honeymoon night at Niagara Falls, so you just have to..." Josh held up his hand and muttered, "Don't even say it lover. 'Trust me.' I know that's what's on the tip of your tongue." Even though the secretiveness frustrated him, he knew Kyle had something up his sleeve that would be well worth the wait. Even when Kyle turned into the parking lot at Niagara Falls State Park and stopped next to a van with 'Weddings By The Falls' painted on the side, Josh still had no clue what was coming. He was even more confused as the minister introduced himself and Kyle reminded him to not say any more since this was all a surprise. He only handed over the marriage license and pulled Josh up into the van. As they settled into the bench seat behind the driver, Kyle took Josh's hand and smiled mischievously. "Don't even try to guess." Minutes later Josh's mouth dropped as the van came to a halt next to a helicopter squatting on a concrete pad with the rotors slowly turning. His head snapped around to stare at Kyle. "You don't mean..." he stammered. Kyle smiled wide and answered with, "It's not a family helicopter, but the guy flying it is our pilot for the next thirty minutes." He paused to squeeze his hand. "It's also your last chance to get out of becoming Joshua James Roberts-Thomas while we fly above the falls." Josh wrapped his arms around Kyle's neck and kissed him. "Not a snowball's chance in hell of me letting you off the hook, babe. Or should I more properly say: Kyle Christian Roberts-Thomas?" "That's what I will be proud to call myself when we get back on the ground. Come on, Josh. Let's get on board. And don't forget the rings!" Twenty minutes later, when the minister had almost completed the ceremony while the copter flew back and forth above the huge waterfall, he asked the boys if they had any words they wanted to say to each other. Kyle took both of Josh's hands and the lead and said, "Only one: Together." Josh didn't even need their mind meld and stared back into Kyle's eyes as he gave the only response possible back: "Forever." Both of them had moisture in their eyes as they slipped the rings on each other. They barely heard the rest of the words as the minister completed the ceremony; but they did hear the most important ones. "With the power vested in me and under the laws of the great state of New York, I now pronounce you married. May you have a lifetime of happiness together." With just a momentary halt, he added: "You may seal your commitment with a kiss." They were still lip-locked and mumbling the word 'love' to each other when the helicopter landed five minutes later. * * * * * Once they had gotten checked into the Sheraton and stared in awe at the view of the American Falls from their window, Josh sat down on the bed. He began twirling the platinum and gold ring on his finger silently and then looked up at Kyle. "We are really married, aren't we?" The question was partial innocence and partial amazement. Kyle had been spinning his grandfather's ring on his own finger also. "Yeah. We are, baby." As he leaned over to kiss Josh yet again, he teased, Why, you wanna to change your mind before we file the signed license?" Josh pulled him down on the bed and rolled over on top of him laughing. "Maybe. I was thinking let's see how it goes for thirty or forty years first though." As their bodies began grinding against each other, they both felt their erections grow. Josh suddenly put on a very serious expression as Kyle began undressing him. "You know I've never fooled around with a married guy before." Kyle stopped tugging at Josh's zipper and rolled over to his back in hysterical laughter. Josh immediately took advantage and had Kyle's pants and boxer briefs to his ankles in record time. As he took Kyle's cock in his hand and tugged, he murmured, "But with a hunk like you, I could probably get used to it." He continued pulling on the hot flesh in his hand as Kyle went back to stripping him. Once they were both naked, Josh softly ordered: "Make love to me...husband." The time and tenderness that Kyle took with his hands and mouth as he prepared and finally entered Josh was only surpassed by the intensity and fluid motions of the thrusts he used as he slowly and methodically did as Josh had asked. They had certainly made love before, but this time had to be even more special and Kyle's determination forced him to strive for all new levels. From the way Josh kept reacting and the occasional amorous words he uttered, Kyle felt as if they were becoming one again, but for the first time again also. When both their bodies began to shudder at the same time, Josh pulled Kyle's head down to his and the vocalization of their joint orgasms were muffled behind lips pasted together. Many long minutes passed as they continued kissing and holding each other tight. It was as if neither wanted to break the coupling, and when their erections failed to wilt, Kyle pulled out and scooted up to center his rump over Josh's still hard cock. It only took a palm scoop of the man juice Josh had spilled on his stomach for Kyle to be able to lube up. He stared down into his husband's eyes as he helped him find his cavern and poke through the ring. Once he had settled all the way down Josh's thick shaft and felt the bushiness of his pubes tickling his cheeks, Kyle took a few tentative Tigger bounces. Josh pinched his eyes shut and moaned deeply when Kyle's interior muscles began working his rod. Without breaking their connection, Kyle then gently rolled them both over and circled his long legs around Josh's waist at the same time he encircled his neck with his arms. Looking up from his back, he half-ordered and half-begged: "Now you make love to me my sweet spouse." Pizza Boy at the Door Ch. 19 Josh only smiled and did...for as long as they could both hold off the next dual eruptions. * * * * * Trying to keep from blurting out the news to Kyle's family had been near impossible; but they managed it for a day and a half after they got back from Niagara Falls. Kyle really wanted to make the announcement to his parents at the country club dinner and suddenly that event was less than an hour away. They were getting dressed in the suits they had brought along when he reminded himself yet again, that he would have to tell his sisters later, since they were already committed to a double dinner and movie date. "You sure I look okay in this, Kyle?" Josh was standing in front of the full length mirror on the bedroom wall, retying his tie for the third time. Kyle walked up behind him and kissed him on the neck. "Sure you do, baby. Even if you didn't, once we show them the rings and tell them we are married, you could be wearing a pair of sequined leotards and they wouldn't notice." He laughed as he gave Josh a playful butt spank and then said, "Just be prepared for Dad to stand up and broadcast it to the whole dining room." "He wouldn't? Would he?" Josh asked. Kyle laughed before he replied. "He might. You really made an impression on both of them. They already see you as part of the family. The marriage just makes it formal. That wouldn't embarrass you, would it?" Before Josh could answer, Jack Roberts' voiced boomed from downstairs. "You guys about ready? We have reservations in thirty minutes." "Be right down, Dad," Kyle yelled back. "Get Mom and we will meet you at the car in two minutes." He then turned to Josh who was still fooling around with his tie, and proclaimed, "Stop worrying about your costume. It's curtain time, hubby." The entire way down the stairs and out the door to the large Mercedes, Josh kept telling himself: 'Kyle's right. After everything else this week, how could tonight turn out any way but perfect?' * * * * * The short trip to the country club had been uneventful. Traffic was a little heavy, but Kyle didn't mention it for fear of giving Josh something else to trouble his mind with. They were nestled in the back seat of the big sedan and listening to Kyle's Dad tell the story of how he and Kyle's Mom had talked about running off and getting married without telling anyone in their families. Kyle squeezed Josh's hand hard to keep him from chuckling out loud. 'Don't let the cat out of the bag,' he mouthed to him as the big car slowed to a stop. "Hope you like good steak, Josh," came from the front seat as Mr. Roberts waited for the oncoming traffic to clear so he could make the left turn into the club's driveway. "What they serve here is the best in all of western New York." The next ten seconds seemed like an eternity to Kyle. Like watching a movie in super slow motion. Only moving one agonizing frame at a time. Unable to miss a single thing. The first clue something was wrong was when his Mom screamed out her husband's name. Next was watching his Dad yank the steering wheel to the right as he hit the gas, and feeling the luxury car jerk towards the shoulder of the road. Looking through the windshield, he saw the jacked-up four-wheel-drive pickup almost filling it as it first impacted the Mercedes. Somewhere right near the left front wheel well. The sounds of metal-against-metal as the huge truck dug into the sedan was even louder than the jumbled yells inside the car. He instinctively tried to throw his arm towards Josh, but the initial collision had lurched him out of reach. He saw the terror in his husband's eyes though as the pickup's bumper crawled along the hood and slammed into the front roof pillar, exploding the windshield glass. He tried to call out Josh's name, but it was stuck in his throat. As the truck continued its destructive path, he watched the driver window blow out and his Dad's head jerk violently. In his peripheral vision, he saw his Mom reaching towards his Dad with a look on her face that made his blood chill. As the big car was shoved off the road, the truck finally mercifully bounced the other way and stopped causing destruction...or so he thought. But in the final seconds of this slo-mo horror film they were a part of, the Mercedes dropped down a small embankment and the passenger side smashed against the culvert at the bottom; momentarily putting it up on two wheels. In the millisecond after it hit, he saw Josh's head whiplash into his door window and shatter it into a thousand pieces. As the car settled back down on all four wheels and the horrifying noises of the previous moments in time ceased, Kyle began to cry as he saw Josh hanging limp in his shoulder harness, and the multiple trickles of blood dripping from his forehead and temple onto his suit jacket. It was many, many long minutes before he heard the sirens approaching. Minutes he would have given almost anything in the world for, to have not had to experience.
