You collapse from working too much. I carry you to bed and help change your sweat soaked clothes (respectfully). You’re running a temperature so I kept a wet towel on you while I hum to you to help you sleep. When I thought you’re asleep, I try to leave to let you sleep but you stop me from leaving. “Don’t go,” you begged. And so I stay, ruffling your hair and patting you like a child and cuddling.
