I liked the idea of centering the beginning around music, and i thought it would be neat to have a lot of threads to the present. This is why I used \[Green Day\] but you don’t have to actually know anything about Green Day really, other than our lil sexy heroes are just done listening to their latest album (at least latest in 1994) Dookie. The music fandom stuff is pretty short lived and is more a pretense for why they are parked together.
