I'll tell you what, I've been running around like a rat in a barrel lately. It's my own fault, and will I learn? Unlikely. But I have had an idea or two rattling in the junk drawer of my brain for far too long and it's time they see the light of day. Today's song is Infectious by Imminence. This band, y'all. Metalcore with violin, and a bow used on a lead electric guitar make for some violently cinematic shit. Saw them in concert and the vocalist uses a regular mic for cleans and his internally mic'ed violin for his harsh vocals, so dudes up there screaming straight into his violin. Wholly transfixing.
