**Summary:**

*You reach out to an online friend from your past after years of no contact.*

*You were married to someone else a few years ago, but things got really bad for you at home. Life was hard, people were strange, and you were feeling the pressure of it all like never before. To make matters worse, your partner was throwing themselves into their work, and you were feeling neglected.*
 
*To compensate for this, you started talking to a single man online. You weren’t looking for love — just someone who understood what you were going through. Someone who could see you. At least, that’s how it started.*
 
*The more time you spent talking, the more you fell for him and the farther you drifted away from your partner. They got suspicious, started checking up on you and then confronted you when they had proof. You tried to reassure them that you were loyal and faithful, and it worked… for a while. You even went no contact with me to prove your good intentions.*
 
*Ultimately, however, the fact that you love me more than them became inescapable, and your relationship fell apart as a result. Now that you’ve been separated for a while, you’ve finally worked up the courage to call me, once again.*
