Hey everybody, um, I wanted to quickly address the listener request stuff, as well as an
additional thing, which is kind of like, almost like an expansion on a filled listener request
I did recently, so allow me to explain.
Okay, so first of all, I'm gonna do my best to fill every request that I've gotten.
There are some that I just cannot fulfill, and I'm not going to...
I'm not gonna come up and tell you that I couldn't fulfill it, but if I couldn't, just
don't take it hard or anything, it's just something that I need to do for myself.
I can't make everyone happy.
On top of this, a lot of the requests I got are pretty erotic, and as a result, I can
record these.
There will be times where I can record these with no problem, but recently I've not had
as much privacy to record erotic things, like, I can record non-erotic stuff fine, you know,
so it just depends, I guess?
That said, I recently did a listener request fill where I read part of a book that I love,
and I was thinking that I'd really love to do more readings for you guys.
I don't think I want to do readings from that same book, only because of copyright infringement
fear, and plus I kind of think you guys should experience that book for yourselves, because
it's so fucking awesome, but, but let me just say, in the end, if it comes down to it, I
would love to try and read something within the public domain that won't lead to any issues
so I can read the entire thing and it won't be a problem.
The issue is, this is kind of embarrassing, but I'm not entirely familiar with just how
much stuff is within the public domain in terms of stories and things that I could read
to you guys, so I basically am asking for any of you out there that know of any good
stories that are within the public domain, please feel free to share them with me, recommend
some to me.
The only one I don't really want to do is Alice in Wonderland because I get so overdone,
and I want to do something a little different than that, plus I've never been a huge fan
of that story personally.
I think it's very charming and cute, but it's not a story that I care extremely about, I'm
going to be quite honest, like it just, it never clicked with me when I tried to read
it personally, and I just, I don't know, it's, I don't know, I just want to do something
different, you know what I mean?
So if there's like public domain stuff out there that you want to hear me do and read,
I kindly ask, do give me reference to these things, and I want to try and give them a
read myself, because yes, I just, I don't want to worry about copyright infringement
and things like that, like, I don't think anything would happen for reading a very tiny
excerpt of The Secret Life of Bees like I did, but I don't want to go reading the entire
thing.
Plus, actually, each chapter in that book is pretty fucking lengthy, if I had to be
quite honest, so if I were to read it, it would be like a chunk at a time, and it wouldn't
even be like the whole chapter, you know, so in the end, I want something a little bit
easier on length, I want something a little bit shorter, if such a thing is out there,
so sorry for the rambles, but basically, I really want to do more readings for you guys,
because that was actually really fun and rewarding to do, I liked it a lot, I just, I can't really
think of where to begin, so if there's stories out in the public domain that you could recommend
me, by all means, please do, please do, please do.
