Zoo-Oriented Web Pages
Disclaimer: If you're looking for web sites or ftp sites with pictures of humans and animals "getting it on," don't bother. I've only found a handful of them over the years, none of them very good, and they all disappear within hours or days of being "announced." To the best of my knowledge, there are no public sites with bestiality pictures, only private archives to which access is granted on a very limited basis (so limited, in fact, that as public as I am, I've only been to one, and that was months ago). The web sites listed below contain no such pictures; the best you're likely to find are photos of animals mating. Most of the sites below don't have any animal pictures at all, but are simply maintained by zoos or zoo-friendlies.
Your First Stops On the Information Zooperhighway
It was a tough choice, but I've picked the pages I like the best. Not to say the others aren't worth a visit, but these should be your first choice if you're seeking serious (or not so serious) zoo information.
- Actaeon's Home Page
- Like, duh, eh? :)
- CalZoo: The Northern California Zoophile Community
- Various zoo-related information and links, plus Wolf's Online Zoo Meeting Place for zoos who'd like to meet.
- Ian's Zoo Links -- URL change 10/28/98
- An extensive collection of links to zoo sites, far superior and more complete than my own. Everything is included: personal web pages, commercial porn sites, etc. Definitely worth a visit.
- Miami's ZooTopia!
- Numerous essays, stories, and zoo-related links. Recently updated. He also has non-zoo artwork at Miami's Equestrian Drawings.
- Paginae Protei (Pages of Proteus) -- NEW LOCATION: Updated December 31, 1999
- An efficient, well-designed website. Numerous tasteful, thoughtful (and often stunningly literate) essays on zoophilia, horses, tolerance, natural law, psychology, horsemanship, free speech, Houyhnhnms, comparative and evolutionary religion, facilitated evolution, and Einsteinian physics. He's also added a considerable amount of ancient and obscure poetry and literature (some of which he's corrupted to zooishness, and some of which, especially "The Golden Ass" by Apuleius, need no further corruption at all). Don't run: the writing is quite accessible. In fact, if you're a non-zoo trying to figure out who and why we are, this is a great place to start. Brew a pot of tea and sit a spell.
- Ren's Kennel
- Once lost in the GeoCities saga, this site has now re-opened at a new provider, and it's a good thing, too. A visually pleasing site, with some wonderfully-written stories, and numerous essays on what it's like to grow up as a zoo and be outed to one's parents.
- Welcome to Stasya's Library and Lounge -- NEW LOCATION -- January 6, 2000
- He's back! An excellent resource, formerly known as "Zeta World" and "Stasya's Zeta Valley." Well worth an extended stay, and far too extensive to report on in detail. Numerous zoo links, including FAQs, tons of essays and other information, fiction and poetry, and a link to information on Hani Miletski's zoophilia study. A separate section, called "Caves of Healing," is specifically for sexual and emotional abuse victims and suvivors. On January 5, 2000, he wrote, "My personal fiction is now at www.asstr.org/~stasya. The fiction area of my main site is mirrored at www.asstr.org in the collections area. ASSTR has both web and ftp access."
- The Ultimate Zoo Page (UZP)
- Another excellent set of pages: numerous essays, stories and poems, plus a number of links to zoo and other animal resources. The UZP celebrated its two-year anniversary in June 1997: congratulations, Canine!
- Valadan's Stable
- Another extensive and nicely-designed site. Links to the FAQs and other zoo pages, plus a well-organized collection of stories, poems and essays, indexed by subject, author, and species.
- Zoophilie-FAQ, Die Liebe mit Tieren
- This is an extensive German-language zoophilia FAQ, which was censored in March 1997, barely a month after its creation. It has now returned at a new provider, and is worth a visit, even if you don't speak German. German law forbids direct translation of American zoo materials into German, so this website was almost entirely an original work, the result of considerable effort; compiled from numerous FAQs, books, and e-mail with other zoos. Welcome him back!

- Tom's Pages -- NEW! October 4, 1997
- These pages are all in German. According to the author, "The content so far is indeed zooish, but you won't find 'explizit' words within any of the stories." And some pages about zoophilia/bestiality, written by non-zoos:
- Honey, I Fucked the Dog! -- NEW! September 28, 1997
- An article on bestiality, written by Paul Levine. Sometimes critical, sometimes sarcastic, and sometimes accurate, he quotes from several zoo websites (including my own, though he misspelled my name :). He coins a new term for us, PSA (People who have Sex with Animals), and suggests that coming out of the kennel might be premature for us as a group. Interesting article, worth a read. Thanks to Poxx for this link.
- Go Ask Alice!
- A Computer Health Question & Answer Service (at Columbia University). There's a fairly even-handed treatment of bestiality here.
- "Laying with Beasts"

Pages in Limbo
These sites are missing or under construction; as soon as I know more, I'll update the links.
- Draco's Den
- Furry stuff, the ZooNews newsletter, a web-based zoo chatline (if you have a Java-equipped browser), and more to come. Down as of October 1998.
- Ecco's Dolphin Zoophile Page
- DOWN AS OF MAY 1997. Great information on dolphin/human sexuality. Lots of non-explicit dolphin photos, too. GeoCities deleted this site, supposedly due to "lack of updates" (i.e., not maintaining it), and I hope that's the only reason. He plans to re-establish the site at a new location.
- Just Animals
- PERMANENTLY DOWN (got e-mail from him on May 20, 1997). This was one of the few pages that had a good selection of erotic animal-only images; like most, it went down. No word on when it will be back up.

- A nearly useless automated list of URLs found on ASB. The only zoo links expired long ago.
Hey! You forgot mine!
Is one of my links out of date? Do you have a web page of your own you'd like to see included here?E-mail me!
Web Site Censorship Hall of Shame
The pages for Anthony Berno's Zoo Resources and Zoomorph Magazine were deleted in 1996 due to concern over the Communications Decency Act (CDA) and various people deciding that we and our web pages don't fit in with the rest of society.
In early 1997, computer equipment supporting a popular German web and ftp site, containing furry art and animal-only photos (especially big cats), was confiscated by German authorities in the belief it was illegally distributing bestiality porn (it wasn't, or I would've snagged it, believe me :). This action sent a collective ripple of concern through the German zoo community, for the authorities may use information stored on that equipment to pursue other German zoos and zoo sites. As of March 15, 1997, there is no word on when (or if) the equipment will be returned, or what (if any) action will be taken. Keep your hooves/paws crossed.
And no listing of deleted zoo pages would be complete without mentioning GeoCities, which offers free web pages to (almost) anyone who wants them. Their WestHollywood district is a World Wide Web-based community for people with alternate lifestyles. The 2500 Block was once home to many of our fellow zoos and zoo-friendlies. However, in June 1996, these pages (plus a few elsewhere at GeoCities) were all deleted without warning, due to their "inappropriate content." While GeoCities does have the right to run its server as they see fit, their decision to pull the pages without warning, and especially to rename the deleted sites "noanimal" or "nobeastiality" [sic] until inhabited by newcomers, seems juvenile at best. Please take a moment to look at how many of our friends were affected by this decision:
Akita Inus*, Alfor, Ardennais, Astron, Balto & Runge, Darkfox, Djurvaennen, Fein, Filly, GSDog/Blitz, The Horse, Irish Wolf Hound, Lupo, Miami*, Nightwoof, Parhelion, Quetzalcoatl, Ren Houk's Kennel*, Stasya's Zoophilia and Bestiality Reading Room*, Tabbycat, Valadan*, Wolfheart, Wolfrider, and Wyld Wolf.
Many of these displaced zoos (marked with a *) have since moved on to other providers; as the rest reappear, I will add links to their new locations. Recent conversation with GeoCities (early 1997) makes it clear that zoophilia is not a welcome topic there, even among the gay and lesbian community. This incident and others serve as important reminders of how the alternate lifestyle communities need to support each other. It's clear that if we are to survive, it will have to be through our own efforts: we can't count on the outside world to protect us, or even to tolerate us.
