WhiteFire's (Peter Torkelson's) Furry Resource Page: Visit this site first: more furry links than you can shake a stick at. "If you can't find it at WhiteFire's, you can probably get along without it." There's a mirror at Snowfox.
The Art of TOR (Tim O'Rourke) -- NEW! August 31, 1997: A skilled wildlife and furry artist, with numerous erotic anthropomorphic and animal paintings/drawings. He is accepting commissions.
The Art of Randy Muledeer -- NEW! September 6, 1997: Another skilled and commissionable furry artist, whose website is a subset of TOR's.
Brian W. Antoine's Favorite Furry Artists: A beautifully laid-out site, with thumbnail images, e-mail addresses, web sites and ftp sites for many furry artists.
Avatar Lycos server: The Lycosuction Image Archives: the very finest furry art web site, period; indexed by artist name, filename, and upload date. Can be very slow; try the other archives first. Also available via direct FTP, indexed by filename.
Control-C (Sweden; FTP): A furry art FTP site, still "alive and kicking," according to the person who maintains them, who sent me e-mail in mid-October 1997. A web interface is here.
FurNation: The Artist's Image Archive: a site dedicated to promoting sci-fi and fantasy artists. TOR and Randy Muledeer have their websites here, and so do many of the finest artists in the furriverse.
FurPride -- NEW! October 19, 1997: The hub for the gay,lesbian and bisexual furry community, so that they might meet and see each other's homepages. This is not a dating service or a flame area, so please do not follow the links with the intention of insulting or yiffing at the people who contribute to this resource.
Katarn's Furry Folder: Another good collection of furry and furry-art related links.

The Snowmeow Project (FTP): A smaller furry art ftp site, indexed by artist name.
The Squeeky Clean Furry Archive: A large, well-indexed web site, searchable by artist name, character name, file name, or upload date. Also available via direct FTP.
Tigerden's Index to Furry Artists' Home Pages: Like it says, a list of furry artists' home pages.
Velan Central Library (FTP): A large furry art ftp site, indexed by artist name.
Furry Pleasures!: The home of anthropomorphic erotica. Lots of furotica stories. Very nice.
Nala: "The Look" :): Nothing special, just a nice image which may be hard to find otherwise.
P.S. I am no longer maintaining my comprehensive list of furry artists, since several of the sites listed above are doing a far better job of it. I may add to this page a list of my favorite artists, but they're everyone else's favorites, too, so what's the surprise? :)
