Subject: ZOO: Egg flower WHAT?

Had an interesting experience tonight. A non-zoo friend and I were eating at a Chinese restaurant, and I noticed the egg flower soup smelled and tasted a little...strange. It took several sips and detailed sniffs before I recognized it. Mare urine. Now, how am I going to ask, "Does your soup smell like mare urine?" All I could say was, "It smells a little...barnyardy." Oh, and FWIW, no, I didn't finish the soup. I prefer my mare urine fresh from the tap, thank you. No need to break an egg in it. :)
