>>68353733>The day comes and Anon has a full-blown intervention with all of her friend group. There's tears, there's promises to be better there's pouring emotion from every angle. Expect one.>Fang clams deeper and deeper as it goes.>The efforts meant to help her simply shunt her deeper and deeper into her own head. Anon notices all too late and by the time he throws out a line she's no longer playing ball. She storms out of the place as he chases.>He loses sight of her and spends the entire rest of the day calling, texting, anything he can to get in touch. He can fix this, damnit.>No response. He starts to panic. He even gives himself an ultimatum. If she's still gone by nightfall he'll contact Ripley.>His gut instinct tells him that's a certainty. The minutes tick by as Anon waits in his apartment pacing to and fro. Nothing.>As the twilight fades into darkness he swallows and nervously dials Naser. One word and he's now speaking to the patriarch.>It takes his entire effort to admit he needs help but he manages to get it out.>There's no cursing, or threatening. Ripley knows better. He drives by not but a few minutes later and the two team up trying to hunt Fang down. The night runs deep. Nothing.>Daylight begins to flood over the bluffs and still they can't locate the ptero. Reluctantly Ripley drops Anon off back near skin row, warning him that if Fang isn't found soon he's coming to the station.>Anon simply agrees. Anon doesn't bother going to school that day, just waiting near the phone and praying. Hoping.>Nothing. Finally Ripley ends up making good on his promise, Anon's door is almost beat down.>He relents and is taken in for questioning, letting the station know everything he can. He's let go with a sympathetic pat from some of the station members. >The waiting grows longer. Turning into days. Into weeks. Anon goes through a slew of emotion. Anger, betrayal, depression. It's too much.Looks like we have one more.
