>I tighten the bandana around my head, looking into the mirror. Adjust the eyepatch and focus. On comes my deepest, graveliest voice.
>"Colonel, I'm trying to sneak around... but I'm dumm-"
>A knock on the door startles me. Mom's voice comes through the bathroom door.
>"Come on sweetie, it's time to go." I do a once over on my little outfit before calling back.
>"Alright, be right there!"
>Looking sharp. I pull on the military fatigues and the several belts and harness. Bit tight, though.
>I step out and watch as mom looks over me, displeased. Dad gives me two huge thumbs up from down the hallway, though.
>Mom lectures as I walk to the front to join Amber, "Alright remember. Back by eleven. Don't get separated and call if anything happens, okay? Love you."
>I wave her off, "Yeah, yeah I got it. See ya later."
>I step into the foyer to see a bit of an impatient Amber, dressed as one of those world war posters. Decorated jumpsuit and a bandana tying down her hair.
>"Took you long enough, you ready? The group's already waiting." I nod at her and wave off to the folks one last time before we step out.
>Sure enough there stands the delinquents. All dressed up. Maria is wearing a purple dougi, red sash. Goku I think.
>Cynthia's dolled up quite a bit, blue wing on, twintails. Leggins, skirt and a sleeveless top, giant blue tie. No idea what kind of weeb garbage she's dressed up as but she wears it well.
>Sera's sporting a huge faux afro, pick in and all, sunglasses in the shape of stars, a tight yellow top and glittery yellow/red gradient pants, bell bottomed. Disco queen. Not sure if she's someone in particular.
>Cynthia calls out, rubbing her arms. "Hurry the hell up! It's cold!"
>Right she is. I hop to it and join the group proper as they all get a good look at our two costumes.
>As I suspected only Cynthia gets it and points a very disgusted look at me. Face scrunched up and unhappy. Yeah good to see you, too.
