>I feel her hands around my throat. Claws digging into flesh. I gasp.
>"Last. Mistake." through gritted teeth she threatens to choke the life out of me. She's an actual psycho. I never thought ratting her out to Scaler would warrant this. I start to blur my vision.
>My survival instinct, honed through generations of my ancestors is activated. Unnatural strength hits me as I grab onto her wrists, pulling my legs up and pushing as hard as I can.
>I rip Mia off of me, her claws taking deep gashes as they come off but thankfully not deep enough to rip my jugular. She slams backwards into a glass case, shattering it.
>I scramble up to my feet and pant. Vision narrow and pointed right onto her. I expect her to instantly spring up and give chase.
>The first part happens but the following stuns me.
>She stands, takes a single step. Her eyes roll back into her head and she fall forward, limp.
>I then notice it. The thick glass shards all over her tail and back. Damp red spots forming all over. I choke back a retch and step away.
>Logic and reasoning are nowhere to be found as I almost sprint away. Anywhere but here. I don't get far.
>The shattering has brought commotion, and that commotion brought teachers. Namely Solly.
>A hairy log of an arm clotheslines me. I blink as I stagger back.
>"My god, Inco!" I stare up at him. I can barely see a trickle of his eyes. Worry.
>"We're off to the medic, STAT! CADET!" I'm about yanked off my feet and down the hall as I hear whispers start.
>I'm pulled into the nurses. She's nowhere to be seen. Solly, however, patches me up himself. I consider that his demeanor might not just be for show.
>As he works his bandaging magic I hear the door open. Expecting to see a nurse or a faculty member.
>The blue suit, shiny badge and holstered firearm put that to bed.
>"You're Mr. Nito?" The chubby officer speaks to me. Some sort of Anklyosaur, tan and wide addresses me.
