>Yesterday was a damned mess. Naser breaking up with Naomi and the fallout that caused. Him setting my heart alight with his just beyond adorable suffering. God...
>Naomi is back in homeroom today. She's looking worse for wear too. I can't but help thinking I've done something to her. I suck it up and keep my head down. If she wants to kill me for this I don't really blame her. I'll just do my best to avoid her warpath should it come to that. I shrink down into my seat and go about my day, invisibility my goal still.
>Thankfully I'm passed over. I slip out and into science. I sigh and take my seat next to Fang, already seated.
>"Sup." I return the small talk
>"Nothing much." I shake off the feeling of a looming Naomi disaster.
>"You say something to Naser?" I blink at Fang. What does she know?
>"Uh, no?"
>"He's been down, odd for him. I know you sit with him at lunch." I cock an eyebrow at her.
>"I thought you didn't like each other." I get a scowl back.
>"He's still my baby brother." guess blood runs deep.
>I shrug at her and she rolls her eyes at me. I feel awful but like hell I'm willingly throwing myself onto that garbage fire. Science goes well, and math passes uneventfully. Thankfully Trish and Reed are pretty civil, and not related to Naser.
>Lunch time and Naser's MIA, a text before I entered the cafeteria confirmed this. He's busy with the track team today, taking lunch with them. Poor overworked boy.
>Guess it's auditorium lunch then. I take my tray of goodies and march on over. In I step and the pastel posse greet me.
>"Nona!" Finger guns from pinkie.
>"Oh hey." A soft and gentle welcoming from the purple one.
>"Hi, Nona." Indifference from the gray one.
>I wade on in and sit down, Reed finishing up playing with the projector. He links a little laptop to the thing and boots up snootube.
>Vid now on and he rejoins us in the audience chairs.
