Sadly I still don't dinner. My request is a continuation of the Nona and Naser history. It would be interesting to see a Fang POV to all the situation between his brother and her skinny friend

>Yesterday was a damned mess. Naser breaking up with Naomi and the fallout that caused. Him setting my heart alight with his just beyond adorable suffering. God...
>Naomi is back in homeroom today. She's looking worse for wear too. I can't but help thinking I've done something to her. I suck it up and keep my head down. If she wants to kill me for this I don't really blame her. I'll just do my best to avoid her warpath should it come to that. I shrink down into my seat and go about my day, invisibility my goal still.
>Thankfully I'm passed over. I slip out and into science. I sigh and take my seat next to Fang, already seated.
>"Sup." I return the small talk
>"Nothing much." I shake off the feeling of a looming Naomi disaster.
>"You say something to Naser?" I blink at Fang. What does she know?
>"Uh, no?"
>"He's been down, odd for him. I know you sit with him at lunch." I cock an eyebrow at her.
>"I thought you didn't like each other." I get a scowl back.
>"He's still my baby brother." guess blood runs deep.
>I shrug at her and she rolls her eyes at me. I feel awful but like hell I'm willingly throwing myself onto that garbage fire. Science goes well, and math passes uneventfully. Thankfully Trish and Reed are pretty civil, and not related to Naser.
>Lunch time and Naser's MIA, a text before I entered the cafeteria confirmed this. He's busy with the track team today, taking lunch with them. Poor overworked boy.
>Guess it's auditorium lunch then. I take my tray of goodies and march on over. In I step and the pastel posse greet me.
>"Nona!" Finger guns from pinkie.
>"Oh hey." A soft and gentle welcoming from the purple one.
>"Hi, Nona." Indifference from the gray one.
>I wade on in and sit down, Reed finishing up playing with the projector. He links a little laptop to the thing and boots up snootube.
>Vid now on and he rejoins us in the audience chairs.

>Trish and Fang are in their own little conversation, something about working on a venue. Reed addresses me, his voice a bit lower.
>"So, how'd uh... the talk go?" I sigh. No escape from this.
>I drop my voice into a whisper as well. "We didn't. Just asked me about him and Naomi. They ended up breaking up."
>Reed sucks in air through his teeth. "Shit, dude. Sorry."
>"What's up with you two?" Fang is peeking her head around Trish to talk to us. Son of a bitch.
>Reed turns to look between us, his face in worry.
>"Uh..." He stalls
>Trish is looking now too.
>I panic and try to formulate a lie. It can't come soon enough as Reed breaks. Damned weak willed stoner.
>"We were talking about Naser breaking up with Naomi." Trish's face lights up. Fang's curls into a scowl.
>"Hey, would you look at that." I kind of hate how Trish is happy about this.
>"Oh, that explains that." Fang goes a bit limp.
>I feel a lump stick itself in my throat. I will not incriminate myself at all here. Reed will happily do so, however.
>"Yeah he was talking to me and Nona here about it." You little pink rat.
>Fang looks at me, suspiciously.
>"You...knew?"
>"...yes?" She sighs and looks over me
>I feel guilty at hiding this from her. I explain myself.
>"Look I just didn't want to step into anyone's personal business here. He just asked me my opinion and I gave it to him. That's all."
>Fang's not exactly pleased with my defense but accepts it.
>"Eh. Not like you ripped Naser away from Naomi or anything." Trish shrugs and plops some of her herbi food into her mouth. I cringe hard at her insinuation.
>"Hahah yeah that'd be super awful if Naser had feelings for someone else or whatever haha." I'm going to tape his mouth shut I swear.
>The two other band members slowly turn their head to the little secret spouter.
>"Reed?" Fang's voice is low.
>He looks away, refusing eye contact. I plant my palm on my face.
>"Forget I said anything. Not my place to share dude."

>"Reed." Fang's voice is serious.
>He glances back, unable to keep eye contact for long. He scrunches up into a ball before speaking.
>"hetoldmehethinksheishavingfeelingsfornona." the sentence comes out all together, squeezed out like the last bit of toothpaste. The reed-ball tightens. I squeeze my face harder.
>"You're kidding." Trish's voice is in extreme bewilderment.
>Reed doesn't budge, his face still buried down into his knees.
>I get two stares at me. I hate this.
>Fang looks hurt. As if I'd stomped on her heart.
>"Nona you didn't-"
>"No. God no. I really and honestly just listened to him vent and gave my opinion when asked. I promise." It hurts to have to defend myself like this. I'm not even sure I believe myself here fully.
>"My humie!" I get offered a fist bump from Trish. I clench my jaw and do not reciprocate.
>"...so you haven't talked to him about this yet?" I shake my head no at her.
>Fang sighs and pinches the bridge of her snout. "Shit, Nona..." I know, Fang.
>"Can you... talk to him?"
>I nod at her. I was planning on it eventually, I think.
>"Cool..." her voice is sad.
>I suddenly have a need to be as far away as possible. I stand and decide to make my escape sooner rather than later.
>"I'm gonna head on out. Sorry." I'm not sure if that sorry is supposed to cover the whole conversation or not but it'll have to suffice.
>"Later. Straighten Naser out for us a bit, kay?" I have to look away from Trish. She's really starting to get on my nerves. I get no response from the Reed-ball or Fang. My heart pounding I march out of the auditorium. Fuck today and all it brings. I quickly check my phone, it's time for some exotic pet-grooming forum posting.
>I have a message. It's from Naser.
>"Can we talk?"

Fin. Last for now. Maybe we'll do the pick up the request again later play like last night, we'll see.
