>"You promised." Sera folds her arms
>"I know but Sera, really?" I look down at my shirt. It's proudly displaying in comic sans, on a plain white background. "I hate Triggers."
>"It'll be funny, cmon." It most certainly won't but I swallow my pride. I would certainly expect her to go along with my whims should I have won that little bet on whether she could get Greene to date her or not.
>I sigh and we step out into public. This is gonna suck.
>We end up walking into the downtown area. I keep whipping my head around, expecting some sort of lynching anytime soon.
>It starts to get more population dense. Thankfully most people just go about their business but from time to time I get a disgusted look. God.
>We finally get to our destination. Sera, no. It's a soul food place. If I even think about setting foot in there it's game over.
>I look over to see her smiling widely. She grabs my hand and drags me in. I quietly make peace as I enter.
>An older Triceratops woman greets us.
>"Oh hi, table for two?" Her smile twitches as her eyes hit my shirt. I'm so sorry.
>"Yup." Sera answers for me.
>We're led into a small booth near the back.
>"Oh you'll love this place." I shake my head.
>"I highly doubt I will, considering it's gonna be full of spit and god knows what else." I cringe at the mental image.
>"Oh they won't, promise." Sera is grinning at me, smug and in control. I sigh and pick out a small herbi option, fried veggies slathered in sauces.
>Thankfully while seated the bottom of the phrase is cut off and the waitress, another triceratops girl, can't read it.
>Orders placed and a desperate internal plea for this to be over and Sera simply leans back, looking over my anxious form. If I end up surviving this you just wait you bitch.
>Our order arrives and I dread it. I can't see anything immediately wrong with it but poke it over several times with a fork. Sera simply reaches over and places some of my food into her mouth.
