>My stomach floats, the butterflies inside rising it up and swirling within.
>It's the weekend and I've spent the majority of my free time this week planning. This is going to be perfect I'll make sure of it. Hours of online research, in-person vetting and intense outfit planning and I'm ready.
>Edna was a bit apprehensive still but she's still agreed on at least one date. I'd been sent into a bit of a strange mood after that. Worry mixed with relief.
>Doesn't matter at the moment. I do a final once over on my outfit. Suave jacket, dark red-brown. White T-shirt, name brand of course. Khakis pressed into perfection. Prescription shades.
>I look like a million bucks. I flex one last time and march right out the door and toward the tram.
>It's a short ride and I'm certain I catch a few glances as I go. The place is a decently fancy sit-down restaurant in the restaurant hot-spot downtown.
>A phone check shows I'm right on time. My eyes spot a blood-red blur out of focus. I point my head up to see a stunner.
>Edna's fully straightened her hair and is donning a bright red dress and matching heels and lips. A small necklace with a flat clear azure adornment graces her.
>I almost drop my phone as my muscles fire off in random spurts.
>"Alright let's do this." She sighs and motions to me. I shake off the surprise and find my place at her side.
>It pains me slightly to see her not completely enthralled but a spark of hope in me lights as we step into the place proper. Now this is atmosphere.
>It's dark and faux-candlelit. A gentle aroma of fresh bread is wafting about. I glance to her and see she's fully taking the place in.
>We're greeted and seated in just a few moments. Making a reservation ensured that.
>We're pulled into a small booth near the back as the quiet droll makes a phenomenal backdrop. I take my place and my menu as Edna slides in across from me.
>"...Place is pretty impressive." The smallest tidbit of excitement finds it's way into her.

>"It garnered some rave reviews. Glad to see they're true." I beam at my own planning coming to fruition.
>I pick out an interesting dish as Edna goes for something a bit more reserved. Step 2 comes in to play now.
>Ordering finished and I steer the conversation.
>"I know we talked a bit before about life but now seems to be the time to ask; What do you do for fun?" Internet advice taken and I try to have her open up.
>She smiles a scowling grin. "Attempt to melt my eyes out of their sockets with soap operas."
>I refuse to drop this that easily. "Well what would you like to do for fun, then?"
>I seemingly asked a question she hadn't been prepared for as it takes a moment to collect herself enough to answer.
>"I'm not too sure." She shrugs.
>"This is nice, though." She relaxes ever so slightly as the words leave her snout.
>"You?" She turns the question back at me.
>"Call me strange but I like fashion." Her eyes widen slightly.
>"That explains the outfit. You clean up pretty good." She makes a point to run her eyes over me. I shiver.
>"That dress is gorgeous." I don't hold back.
>The red of her outfit seems to cross her face ever so slightly. I find my time to fire my biggest shot yet.
>"Do you like shopping?"
>"...Sure." She's a touch suspicious.
>"Clothes shopping?" I make my intent known.
>"Inco..." Her voice is tired.
>"Just consider it." I shakily put a pin in the notion. Thankfully she nods along.
>As our small conversation dies food makes it's timely presence.
>It's heavenly. I really picked a winner here and phase 3 makes it's way right to the front of my cortex.
>I catch the waitress as she comes for a water refill.
>"Hey can I order dessert? Two of the ice cream cakes, please." She nods and makes her way off quickly. Edna raises an eyebrow at me. I merely shrug at her and smile.
>And it arrives. Luxurious velvety sweet delight enters my mouth. It's amazingly good. Fancy desserts always are.

>Edna's smile confirms my opinion. She polishes hers off faster than I can mine.
>I feel a sense of pride as I watch her lean back, content. The bill arrives on a little platter.
>Edna picks it first before I can and her face goes pale.
>"Inco I didn't know it was going to be this expensive." She worriedly spouts.
>I take the little receipt and plant my card right on top of it, returning it to the platter.
>"Inco I thought we were splitting the bill." She protests.
>I offer a dissuading hand gesture. "My treat."
>She clams up a bit as my card is taken off to be rung up. She averts her eyes from mine, blushing again.
>And finally I'm returned my card and it's time to take our leave. The blush she wears only grows heavier. Phase 4's coming and it numbs my finger and toe-tips at the promises it brings.
>We'd talked about what's expected but it didn't help quash any of the excited nervousness.
>Almost too quickly we walk out the front of the place and stand outside in the cooling air of the city as twilight begins making it's presence known.
>She steps in closer and motions for us to walk a bit. I happily oblige.
>It's not a but a block as she addresses what's coming.
>"So we're doing this." It's factual and flat.
>"I'd like to." I put the smallest touch of joy into the words.
>"Okay." She stops and glances around. We're mostly alone, a few smokers but otherwise empty.
>"You ever done this before?" She stalls.
>"No, I can't say I have." My heart slams my chest.
>"...Okay just follow my lead." Edna takes a big breath and lets out a slow sigh as she steps forward, cerulean eyes locking onto mine.
>Instincts take over as she pulls in close, her warmth spreading through my sides where her arms grasp as they pull me closer.

>Like two pieces of a puzzle I match her head-tilt, but opposite and we kiss.
>I'd always been told what it was like, been told how it was amazing. It all pales in comparison to the vivid sparks that fired off behind my eyelids as her snout presses up against my lips.
>A slight negative pressure is applied, through my own mouth or hers I'm unsure but it's heavenly. I find my own arms snaking around her waist as we share a kiss.
>All too soon it's over and she pulls back, blush now heavy and overbearing. Almost turning her tan scales red. It's adorable.
>"You learn fast." Her voice is quiet.
>I freeze as I feel a deep want to push into another kiss. She holds steadfast as we hold the pose.
>To my utmost pleasure she motions in. I oblige more than happily as we lock lips again. From my lips a bright warmth spills through my body as if the sun itself was pouring gentle sunlight through me.
>A certainty starts to settle in my head. For a while I'd wondered what these feelings were. I'd worried it may have been a crush or just general teenage lust. It's clear as day now. It's a need. A mighty one. Never pegged myself as someone who pursued a more experienced woman but I'd be hard pressed to disagree now.
>As we pull off again my inner thoughts spring outer. Being an artist has it's perks from time to time.
>"Like wine." The compliment comes from the deep.
>Our hands refuse to leave each other's bodies as she leans in once more, this time to whisper into my ear.
>"One more date?"
>"As many as you'd want." My mind soars and cheers.
>"Thanks for this." She hugs me tighter.
>The moment runs long as the twilight begins to dim to shadows.
