>The ever-so-unique sound of a rubber dodgeball slamming into someone rings through my head. I happen to be that someone and down I go. World swirls and the last thing I see is that overtly friendly Dilo girl as my vision fades.
>I come to and shoot up, now laying down. As my eyes focus I notice a presence sitting in a chair to my side. I glance over to see the Dilo girl again, now perked and smiling at me.
>"That was a nasty hit, you good?" I sigh and lean back. Hand moves up to catch the huge lump on my head where I'd been struck. Nope, not good.
>"Think so." I lie and tap my shirt, looking for my glasses. I'm still in gym clothes. I squint and look to see my regular clothes folded and on the chair next to... I can't quite place her name. I focus as she notices my eyes on my clothes.
>"Oh you need these? Here." She quickly hands me the set and I find a backup of my shades. On they go and my eyes relax. I lean back to see her looking at me curiously.
>"You keep a spare?" I nod at her.
>I admit, "Prescription. Gotta." I focus and let my mind ask some prelim questions.
>"What happened?" All I remember is the strike. Nothing else.
>The girl folds her arms, "Mia decided to take out her frustrations on you. The para girl." I remember her now. Blonde and rather displeased with me. Making enemies day one. Fine work, Inco.
>I start to thank her but get stuck on her name, "So did you take me here uh...?"
>"Just call me Demi." I nod as she smiles and gives me a thumbs up. "And yeah Solly made me as he has a talk with Mia." She laughs and leans back.
>The nurse joins us and I just about jump at her voice. It's like she eats cigarettes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and as a snack in between.
>"Alright I'm sending you home for today. And tell Solly that if I see you in here again I'm assigning you a helmet for his class. Now get." She waves me off as I stand, a bit unsteady.
