>It's been a little over a month since Mia and I had run into Fang at that little diner. We've been going steady since then. She really has been able to help me open up and I'm beyond grateful to her. We're currently lying in bed, deciding on where our date ends up today.
>"Drive in?" I float
>"You got anything you want to see?" Mia asks back
>"Not particularly, no." I admit
>"Hey I actually have a fun one we can do." Mia says, snickering at me as she leans up on her side to look me in the face.
>"Remember that diner across town?"
>"You sure? Think Fang still works there." I say, cautiously
>"Yeah lets go check in on her." Mia flashes a full toothy grin. I cant' say I'm the biggest fan of letting Mia loose on Fang again but it's been a month. Who knows if she even works there. Maybe Mia could even help her out like she did me. I cringe for a moment at the though, it seems Mia's demeanor is rubbing off on me.
>"Well alright so long as you promise to play nice if we meet her again." I say, at least trying to preemptively defuse any bombs i happen to be laying at the moment.
>Mia squints at me "... I promise no violence."
>"Good enough." I say, stretching and tossing the covers off, grabbing my pants off the floor. A quick look around Mia's apartment reminds me that it's really not much better than mine. Might as well call this place Scale Row. I chuckle to myself.
>Set and ready to go we hop on in Mia's mean machine and speed on down the way to dinner.
>"Hey Red." I start, using the pet name that she finally let me have.
>"Yeah?" she asks, turning an eye to face me.
>"Your apartment sucks." I say, my Mia-ism bleeding through.
>"Yeah no shit. Your point?" she asks, skewing her face.
>"So does mine. We could probably just pay for a place together and not have to live in literal methville." I say, nervous slightly at bringing this up
