(Written from Ripley's perspective)
>"This damn suit's too tight."
>Samantha looks up at me with a blissful smile before tugging at my arm
>"Come on dear, cheer up! Today's the most important day of our baby's life! Show a bit more excitement for Lucy's baby shower. I promise I will reward you with some apple pie tomorrow."
>Damnit, this woman knows exactly how much I love her pies.
>"Fine. But do not expect me to shake hands with him."
>"Don't worry, dear, I will keep Anon busy as much as I can."
>Said Skinnie opens the door with a big grin on his face.
>"Hey, Fang! Your parents are here."
>He extends his hand, and Samantha grabs it with an excited squeal.
>"Hello there Anon, I am so happy for you two! I can't believe that my baby is finally going to give us grandkids."
>After my wife finishes her ramble, he looks back at me. I gotta admit...He grew a couple of inches over the years. And thank Raptor Christ that he finally started getting some muscles.
>I was worried my child would end up marrying a forever-pipsqueak.
>"It's good to see you both in good health. If you would?"
>He steps aside to let us in.
>The house is already filled to the brim with people. Extended family, friends, and people I've never seen before.
>"Ripley! Iza good to see you!"
>Moe waddles towards me and gives me a toothy smile
>"Hey Moe. You brought the pizza, I assume?"
>I point over to the ginormous stack of pepperoni pizzas that were still warm, judging from the steam coming out of the boxes
>"SÌ! Made-a them extra fresh."
>"Good to hear. Well, now I know that the food will be at least edible. I still don't trust my daughter's cooking."
