Write about Olivia and Damien meeting each other for the first time as carpet crocs (rug rats)
Bonus points if Damien points at her and says "your legs don't work" in that matter of fact toddler way

>Mom comes over to say something as I put all my action figures on the top of the blocks. I stop to listen as she kneels down.
>"Damien, honey." I look up her.
>"We're bringing over a friend, okay?" I nod.
>"Here, come meet Olivia." She reaches down for my hand and I take it, standing up.
>Mom leads me into the kitchen. There dad and some dad's tall green friend with long hair is.
>They turn to face me. Dad's friend is carrying something.
>He kneels down and sets down a green kid, long hair like his. He speaks.
>"Damien, this is Olivia. Say hi, Olivia."
>"Hi." Her voice is real quiet. She's sitting down. I look up to mom and dad, then back to Olivia.
>"Hi Olivia." I smile and wave at her. She blinks at me and looks down.
>I ask. "Why are you sad?"
>I'm confused. All the adults look a bit weird at me. Did I do something wrong?
>Dad speaks. "Here, lets get you two in the living room. Come on." He holds my hand while we walk back to where I was playing wrestle with my toys.
>I sit down and see Olivia is being carried. She's put down next to me as her dad steps back.
>Her tails real long. Cool overalls like mine. I tell her.
>"I like your overalls."
>She smiles and points at my toys. "What were you playing?"
>"Wrestling. Wanna see?"
>She nods and I go back to what I was doing. She watches as I knock the blocks over. We both laugh.
>I notice her crawling over to grab some of the toys.
>"Why don't you walk over?" I stand to show her it's easier.
>She looks down again. "I can't."
>That's weird. "Oh. Why not?"
>She shows me. She can get up mostly but just falls once she does.
>I think I see the problem. "Your legs don't work." I let her know.
>She starts crying. Oh no. I move over to hug her. Mom always hugs me when I cry.
>It works. I see mom and dad come into the room from the kitchen and look at us.
>"That's okay." I tell her. She sniffs.
cont one more. This is difficult.

>"Thanks Dame-yen." I sit back down next to her and grab my blocks again.
>"What do you like to do, Liv-ya?"
>"I like to draw."
>Oh! I stand up and walk over to grab some of my paper. I pull it over and hand it and a few crayons to Olivia.
>"Here."
>She takes them slowly and lays them on the ground, leaning over to draw. I watch her draw a house. That's really good. It even has more than one side.
>"That's amazing!" I stand up and look at it from a few different sides.
>"Can you show me how to draw like that?" She nods.
>I lay down next to her and get my own crayon as we draw. I look up to see mom and dad and Olivia's dad all looking at us from the kitchen. I think they're sad, too. I go back to drawing with Olivia. We're doing a river this time I think.
