Pretty much, yeah. Think more E2 but Anon reconnects with a more mature Trish down the line.

>Think more E2 but Anon reconnects with a more mature Trish down the line.

SCENE: A FEW YEARS AFTER THE 'INCIDENT', ANON MEETS TRISH IN A BAR, DRINKING ALONE. MUSTERING HIS COURAGE, HE SITS DOWN WITH HER AND BEGINS AN AWKWARD CONVERSATION WITH HER

>"So...how's Fang doing?"
>"Fine. She's working as a teacher's apprentice now."
>"Reed?"
>"I don't actually know, but he told me he's the 'richest guy in the world now', so I guess he's doing fine as well."
>"...And you?"
>"...Just...living by, I guess. Got a decent enough business going and all."
>"Heh, you call that just 'living by'? That sounds like the life."
>"Well, it's not like I'm complaining. But it's just not...you know, not what I thought it would be."
>"Not what you thought it'd be?"
>"Yeah, I dunno. It's like...something's missing, but I can't quite place what exactly it is."
>"The band?"
>"...No, well, some of that. But I've moved on from that already. It's something else."
>Trish mutters lowly as her gaze lowers. I follow it, and it leads me to her left hand. For what reason she did so is unknown to me. Many questions lingered in my mind, but in the end, I offer only a weak reply.
>"Well, I guess everyone changes."
>Silence follows soon after. The ambience of the bar being the only sound around us.
>Eventually, I down a glass of liquid courage and speak up once again to tell her what I really wanted to say to her ever since I saw her sitting alone in this bar.
>"Trish, I'm...sorry. Sorry for what happened back then. It was a shitty thing for me to do to you."
>"Don't be. It was a learning experience for all of us. And besides...I've already forgiven you."
>"I know, but...I just wanted to say it again. I don't know why, but...I just wanted to."
>Trish goes silent after I spoke, her face lowered so I couldn't see her expression. I felt a bit hurt at her reaction, but also relief as I managed to get the words I wanted to finally sincerely say to her were said.

>"Well...That's all I wanted to say to you...See ya, I guess."
>Awkwardly finishing the conversation, I stand up, ready to leave the bar.
>But suddenly, I feel a tug on my arm.
>"Wait."
>"...?"
>"...Don't go just yet."
>Trish speaks, her voice softer than I've ever heard before.
>I glance her way, and I notice her face; she was drunk, but there was something deeper within her...I felt a glimmer of something in her eyes. A glimmer of something genuine.
>"I...I think I finally know what's missing..."
>"What?"
>"...You."
>...
>...
>...Huh?
>...Did she just say what I think she said?
>No, she can't possibly be implying that-
>"I know I've been a bit of a mess since we fell out, but...I think I've finally figured myself out."
>"...What do you mean?"
>"I just...I just want to start again with you, Anon. Like...be friends again. But this time, better."
>I gulped at her declaration. I open my mouth, controlling the tone in my voice to not show the hope rising within me for gaining a new friend in God knows how long.
>"...Are you sure about this?"
>Trish nods, her eyes showing a determination that no simple drunkenness can imitate.
>Seems like she really means it.
>I feel the corners of my lips tug upward into a smile, as a warm feeling spreads through me, a feeling I haven't felt in years.
>It's like an old, dusty stereo being able to play once again.
>I slowly sit back down, anticipation of the future rising within me.
>"Alright, then. Let's do it properly this time."
>I signal the bartender for a refill of our drinks.
>"To 𝗮 new ch𝗮pter."
>"To 𝗮 new ch𝗮pter."
>And with the clink of our glasses, we welcomed a new beginning.

EXTRA:
>"By the way, Trish...next time you declare something so seriously, could you -not- make it sound so implicating?"
>"Hm?"
>"I mean, you saying 'You' right after saying you found what you were missing in your life. I actually thought you had a...different meaning by that."
>Trish takes a moment to register what I said, before a smirk slowly forms on her face.
>"Oh? Could you please tell me what that meaning is?"
>A sudden blush creeps up my cheeks, as I realize that I might've just stepped into the trigga's trap.
>"Well, I...uh, I just meant that you surprised me with the way you said it...'s all."
>The trigga's smirk grew wider.
>"Sure, Anon. Sure."
>Ugh...
>'...Well, you aren't completely wrong on that...'
>...
>...
>"...What?"
>"What?"
>"Did you just say something?"
>"What? No."
>"...But I recall you saying I wasn't completely wrong with what I sai-"
>"I did not say anything! S-shut up, skinnie!"
>I couldn't help but chuckle at her flustered state. Despite growing as a person, she's still the same old Trish when it comes to romantic situations, it seems.
>But I think she has a point. Maybe we could explore that later on. Considering she and I still hold some attraction to one another even after all these years.
>For now, though, we have a friendship to redo.
>And perhaps, something more.
