>"Alright, we're coming up on the epicenter now." our guide leads us slightly deeper into the cave. The place is a strange deposit, glowing reflective surfaces everywhere. Almost mirror like. Place scrambles all kinds of signals as well, phones, radio waves you name it. Great tourist spot. Thankfully we came out early and it's just us. I look over to my wife and daughter. Lucy in wonder but Amber a bit worried. I reach down and scoop her up.
>Lucy smiles at me and I tuck Amber, going on 6 now, into me, my arm underneath her to support her.
>We step the few extra paces down into a roped path leading into a brighter room. The guide turns his head lantern off and gestures.
>"Here is is. Galaxy caves antechamber." It's a miracle of nature. 15 foot high ceiling of slight glint and glow, a mirror like sheen across the whole place, small faceted crystals adorned across the place. It's like standing on glass, a sea of stars and glittering constellations underfoot.
>"Woah." Amber says quietly, whipping her head around to take in the sights. I glance over to Lucy. She's kneeling and running her hands along the ground.
>I step forward holding Amber, walking fully into the place, passed a few pillars and fully surrounding myself, immersing my daughter and I in the wonder. I hear footsteps and turn to face my wife. Another human rounds the corner into us.
>"Oh hey I didn-"
>I stop dead cold. That's...me. Holding a triceratops child?
>I blink at...me and he blinks back.
>"I-I'm sorry do I know you?" This is some sort of weird coincidence.
>"I...think you do." I notice our children looking right at each other.
>We stand in silence, merely looking at each other. He looks nearly identical but... who's that he's carrying? I notice his gaze on Amber.
>"Her name's Amber."
>"Sera." I get a response to my own question.
>I start to think a moment. Is...is that...?
>"Are you married?" I ask
>A nod.
>"To?"
