>"Alright so now we just light the candles." Stella says in a hushed voice, match lit and brought up to the small candles she has placed around this little board. I yawn, checking my phone. It's getting rather late. A small alarm rings in the back of my head reminding me I might be staying over at a girls place today. The exhaustion silences it and reminds me I've got couch duty at best.
>I stretch, not paying much attention to Stella's little seance here. Sh seems to want me to suss out whatever is haunting the place but honestly I just accidentally accepted the invite when a promise of a free meal was presented. I curse you again, bottomless pit of a stomach.
>I tune back in, Stella finishing her little program and magical chant. She looks at me and speaks "O-okay now we just gotta look around for any signs."
>I nod, not really thinking much. Stella leads me into the living room, her parents out for the night, some conference or something.
>I scratch myself a bit as I wander, looking for nothing in particular. My mind wanders to the refrigerator and whatever disgustingly sweet weeb snacks reside within when I hear what seems to be metal scraping. I know better but the hairs on the back of my head still stand on end.
>I glance back to check on Stella who is now absent. Great. The scraping moan of metal rings again, seemingly from somewhere deeper in the house. Must just be a old pipe. My heart rate starts up.
>I shake the thought out of my head. I start to move towards the sound, determined to put my silly little nerves to rest. I hear the noise again, metal rattling and sounds of something like nails on a chalkboard. My teeth ache at the sound. I zero in on the source.
>It leads me to a small doorway in the hallway. I plant my hand on the doorknob and hesitate. I don't know what I expect to even happen but I'm going to push through as Anon is no two-bit puss. I pull open the door and shriek.
>Rosa jumps out at me, arms outstretched.
