>Those reviews weren't kidding. This stuff smells heavenly. A mix of mint and spice. Cheap as hell, too. I give another quick sniff as I rub it into my wrists to heat the mix and apply some of my own natural smell. Mixes well.
>Still a bit weird that it was so marked down. Almost 80% off. Their loss my gain. I rub a bit on my neck to see if maybe some of the girls at school will notice. I quickly stifle that idea as it arises. Well at least I enjoy it. Who knows how many times I'll actually end up wearing this stuff.
>I place it back on my sink and head out for the day. A long walk to class, same as it always is.
>I roll right into class like a ghost, as always. Mr. Tsuki's is up and I settle right in. The hair on the back of my neck rises as I do.
>Instincts kick in and let me know I'm being watched. I glance around to try to find the perpetrator. I get several looks instead. A chill runs through me. Thankfully the gazes are broken as Mr. Tsuki enters, pulling the classes attention forward.
>It's boring and extremely difficult to understand, accent and all. I try my absolute worst and get almost nothing done, scrawling in my notebook. Several times I get the notion eyes linger on me. More than just passing glances. It starts to worry me.
>Thankfully class ends and I get up to leave. Yet again eyes touch the back of my head. Tired of fretting I just march right along to science. You'd think they'd get enough leering in the first few weeks but no, here we still are.
>I sit a bit roughly into the science class chair. Fucking dino people and their racist eyes. Swear to god. I pull my phone out to blow off some steam as I hear Fang sit beside me.
>Instead of the usual banter she's oddly silent. I glance up to see if something's up, again. She's staring at me, curious. I squint back, wondering what the deal is.
>She hold the gaze a few seconds before breaking it and speaking. "Morning, dork."
>I sigh and relax. Normalcy.
>"Morning."

>I manage to make it through the class without wanting to shrivel into a shell. No clue what was up with first period. Pray that's going to become a reoccurring thing.
>It's math class time and time to deal with the stoner and the trigga. At least one is nice to talk to. I settle in and Carldeski does his usual lesson. Another set of glances. Son of a bitch, what is the problem now?
>I suffer through it until we hit the last third of class when we get to work in groups. Instantly Reed's up and over to my desk, Trish begrudgingly following. Good to see you too, bitch.
>He plops down beside me, opening his mouth to speak but pausing. I watch as his nostrils flit, slowly leaning in.
>His face is less than a foot from me as he speaks. "Woah dude you smell awesome."
>The emphasis he puts on the word both lifts my spirits and tickles me. It was the cologne? Damn and here I was being sour all morning. I start to perk up.
>"Don't flatter the skinnie, Reed." She rolls her eyes and sits down a desk over. She can't keep me down. Not after Reed's building up.
>We finish the work quickly but I notice something strange. Reed's desk has somehow gravitated towards mine a good foot. Only a couple inches from touching. Wonder if he was doing that on purpose.
>Lunch time and I break off for a quick bathroom trip, relieving myself before I end up in the auditorium.
>As I enter the lunch line I get a sudden deep feeling of claustrophobia. The students both in front and behind me are close. Real damned close. I try to shrug it off and just assume they're preoccupied but with every movement they seem to stick to me like glue. Unsettled I finally make it into the auditorium and walk on down to the front, Reed still fiddling with the projector. I take a spot next to Trish and get comfortable.

>I prepare for the usual berating but I find her surprisingly quiet. Good. I start to eat and look over Reed when I feel a heat nearby. I glance down to see a very purple head invading my personal space.
>I freeze and look as she pulls her head in closer and closer. I have a mild panic attack as her snout is inches from me.
>Quickly she pulls back, as if a sudden hand dragged her away by the shoulders.
>She clears her throat. "Hey."
>I stare at her in disbelief at what just happened. She doesn't acknowledge it whatsoever and stares straight forward, not even making eye contact. The hell is going on today?
>I sigh and focus on eating. It'll be over eventually. God I hope it will.
>As I go about finishing my food and dropping the tray to the floor Fang seems to have decided to return to us. I watch as she drifts as she walks. Her place is on the opposite side of Trish, two seats over. She's walking straight to me.
>I prepare for some sort of talk or addressing but it doesn't happen. Instead she just...sits on me.
>Her wings soft and in my face. I'm stunned. In a flash she's up and scrambling.
>"A-Anon!?" From being some sort of beacon to now seemingly invisible. Hell of a day. I can't even speak I'm so scattered.
>The band's mostly silent and Fang takes her actual spot. Not even a word about the situation comes out from the lot. I've had quite enough and decide it's time for some alone time.
>"I'm going to head out first. See ya." I shoot up with my tray in hand. This day can't end fast enough.
>I'm just about shooed off as I go. Fine on my end. I drop my tray off in the cafeteria and step outside. Hot but solitary. I spy a small concrete bench not too far off. As I approach and sit I notice movement from the side of my eye.
>I glance over to see Stella and Rosa at their own little outside table. Huh, guess that's where they hang out during lunch. Stella's just about vibrating out of her scales trying to get my attention.

>I really REALLY don't want to go over there but if I dawdle too long she's coming over here. I bite the bullet and decide to just quickly say my peace and find somewhere else to be alone for lunch.
>I wander over as Rosa lights up to greet me.
>"An-on!. Good to see you. Here." She gestures for me to sit and I hesitate. Stella shares none of that and bounds up to speak to me.
>"You should join us, Anon! We'd love to t-" She stops mid sentence.
>To my surprise she almost tackles me. I stumble back a bit as her snout buries into my neck, tail wraps around my leg.
>Rosa yells. "STELLA! HERMANA, NO!" and scrambles up to peel the stego off of me.
>It takes some real effort to get her to quit nuzzling my neck. I've been emotionally spent since this morning and at this point I've just signed out mentally. Alarms ring to no one being home.
>Finally she's off and I get a look at her eyes. Glazed and far away.
>Rosa frets over her for a minute, glancing back to me as I slowly back away. Screw it I'm going home. I've had more than my fair share today. As I start away I'm stopped by the Rexican girl.
>"An-on, here. Andale." She sets Stella down, still dazed and works to pull me to the side. Her eyes go wide as she approaches me.
>"An-on? Estupido!" I'm tapped roughly on the shoulder. I start to fight back but her beefy arm looks much better at her side than around my neck.
>"What were you thinking, wearing that?"
>"Whuh?" I stammer a reply out.
>"Your cologne, An-on."
>"My cologne?" It starts to dawn on me why it might have been that cheap. What did I get myself into?
>"It's got something that sets off Saurians, An-on. Don't wear it unless you're on a date." She puts a hand on my shoulder before staring at her hand a moment, ripping it away quickly.
>Great. A waste of money, then. I sigh again and start to turn away. Rosa looks at me worriedly as I walk, a quick wave to her an attempt to assuage her nerves.

>That's sealed it, then. I'm right off. I start to leave campus when I hear that particular plastic shrill voice. As if my day couldn't get any worse.
>I turn to see the peach para marching at me. Wonderful. Just absolutely wonderful.
>She calls out several thoughts about being a closed campus and that I can't leave. My eyes droop and brain simply shuts down. She'll get tired of this eventually then I can just go. I just watch her face waiting for it to stop looking at me.
>Yet it instead slowly changes. From stern scolding to a sort of neutral, then right on to almost smiling.
>I tune back in as she steps forward.
>"But you know I could be...persuaded."
>And that's quite enough of that. I turn and just walk away. A few calls from behind as she does her best to get me back but I'm not dealing with all this. You know if you told me I'd found something that made me irresistible to women a few months ago I'd have hopped right on that but now it might as well be a bomb I keep in my apartment. First thing when I get back it's going in the dumpster outside.
>As I trudge home my phone rings. I pull the thing out to see it's the school calling. Bet it's Spears.
>Bet pays off. His voice comes in.
>"Anon."
>"Hi." I drone back.
>"Rosa's come in to tell me you needed to take the rest of the day off. Can I inquire as to why?" Oh. I find a touch of energy left in me.
>"Got some bad cologne. Not sure what's up with it but I guess it has something in it that sets di- saurian's off." I barely catch myself.
>There's a long pause.
>"Would you happen to know the name of the fragrance?" He's very cautious as he speaks.
>I rack the brain. "Uh, think it was called Red-something. Red hot?"
>He calls it. "Red Heat."
>I confirm. "Yeah that's it." There's a big sigh on the other end.
>"Please read the ingredients on the bottle next time." He's very, very tired. I get a nagging feeling this isn't the first time this has happened.

>"Uh, can do." I fire back quickly.
>"I'll write you off for today." He sighs and I hear paper rustling from his side of the call.
>I thank him quickly and return to my walk. Home sweet garbage-pile. I push in and threaten to collapse into bed.
>Before I do, curiosity takes me. Lets see what I missed that's got everything so screwed today.
>I pull the bottle from it's resting spot and give the ingredients a check. They're labeled with not only their names but functions.
>Fragrance, fragrance, consistency, duration, aeration, estrus ind-
>I stare at the phrase.
>Estrus Induction.
>I read the entire label again, extremely carefully. I notice the original bottler of the thing happens to share a name with a very prolific sex shop. And they sell this on Amazonian?
>I threaten to smash the thing but the small caveman in my head reminds me that this is a useful tool that may help us later. Very carefully and gently I set it back onto the sink and stare at it.
>Maybe I'll need it one day?

Fin. Last for today. Off to lurk /snoot/. Fun as always.
