I'm going to pick the order randomly today, we'll start here.
>I look on in horror at a comatose Schizo, laying stock still in her bed. She hadn't been responding to anyone today and I couldn't just wait around. Her mom let me in, claiming she had just fallen ill. I gently take her hand and squeeze. Almost lifeless.
>I consider marching right out and demanding her mother hospitalize her but I spy something that catches my eye. Her right fist has something in it. I lean over her and uncurl her hand. It's a colored piece of paper. Written on it are seemingly instructions.
>Open the chest at the foot of the bed, grab the two devices. One on her, one on me. I glance over to the chest mentioned. Goddamnit Wendy.
>I reach into the chest and find what looks like two spaghetti strainers, wires between the two, small lights blinking on and off. I grit my teeth.
>One try. That's all. Then we go find out what's wrong. Just to humor her. I look over the strainer helmets and spy one labeled to and one labeled from. I check the note one more time.
>To goes on her. I tuck her red hair into the device, noting how peaceful she looks right now. The pit in my stomach grows. She could be dying and I'm strapping some stupid device onto her. I speed up. I strap in as well.
>Final step is to plug the thing in and flip the switch. I hesitate, hopefully this won't shock me. I take a anxious breath and follow through, tensing as I flick the thing. Instant darkness. I sigh. Guess I flipped the breaker.
>I reach up to unstrap my helmet and suddenly find it's vanished. I pat my head a few times trying to find if it's tilted or partially knocked off. Still nothing. I grasp around for my phone in my pant pocket. Nothing there. The hell?
>I suddenly see a light, a flash. I blink the stunningly bright flashbang out of my eyes as I focus. The room starts to come into view.
