As she was coming out of the water, I thought to make her an aqua sorta dragon with her colours.  The blue was a pretty obvious choice, but I was stuck for her underbelly colour.  Squeaktoy suggested the pink, fleshy tone, which I was dubious about but tried, and liked how it turned out :)
