This is my first attempt at colouring the 'Sedary in the Starlight' pic, and the one that I cropped and modified for the colour portrait of him in the 'nice' section.  I can't remember exactly why I didn't finish it; I think it's because I was faced with such a large expanse of yellow that I didn't think it would work if finished.  However, now I'd be able to finish it (as in the 'Starry Night' pic); for the translucent areas of the wings, I'd first put in a dark gray colour, and then go over that with the yellow: that would allow the wings to be the proper colour, and muted enough to not stand out too much :)
