I was particularly pleased with how this one coloured up :) I used a purple marker base for the dracogryph's fur, and went over it with white coloured pencil and acrylic paint, letting the purple become the shaded area. The purple in his fur is subtle, but does well to show his relationship to the dragon and his mixed blood. I also really liked how the dragon's face turned out, especially around the eyes; the stark contrast there really worked to bring out the details there. For the background I did a skyscape, as it filled in the blank areas with a nice abstract colour fill, and the softness of it brings the sharpness of the two half-brothers into the foreground.
