I almost ruined this piece when colouring it.  I wanted to get the warm and cool hues in the rock face they were on, as rocks are rarely pure shades of gray, so I started with a pink and blue base, which turned out to be a lot stronger than I expected.  With some work, however, it worked out (which was a relief, as I had coloured the characters before the background :).
